LA has taken the first two games of this series, but all signs point to a competitive battle in the finale with a couple of decent starters scheduled to go head-to-head.
I believe that runs will be at a premium in this one with the Royals Daniel Lynch IV (4-3, 2.45 ERA), going up against the Dodgers Matt Lauer (6-6, 4.89 ERA).
Lynch IV owns a strong 37:14 K:BB and 1.01 WHIP across 47.2 innings overall and 3-2 with a 2.99 ERA on the road.
Lauer has earned a spot in the six-man rotation and has a 31:13 K:BB over nine starts. He's 3-2 with a 4.70 ERA at home.
Look for these guys to battle into the deeper innings, and as a result, also expect this total to stay well UNDER the number.
