07-22-21 | Rays -1.5 v. Indians | 5-4 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 4 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 911 Tampa Bay Rays -1.5, RL, +110 OVER (7:10pm E, Thursday, July 22) TB: Patino. CLE: Quantrill. The Rays got a win yesterday but let us down on the Run Line. They didn't play well until late, when they had to. We see Patino holding down the Indians and the Rays' bats get started a little earlier today.
07-22-21 | Rangers v. Tigers -1.5 | 5-7 | Win | 135 | 1 h 6 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 910 DETROIT TIGERS -1.5, RL, +140 OVER RANGERS (1:10pm E, Thursday, July 22) TEX: Foltynewicz. DET: Alexander The Detroit Tigers continue to play well, especially at home and we're going to jump on their bandwagon and hope it's not too late. They have a lot of pride and they're a better team than the Rangers, so we see more loud bats and Alexander handling the Rangers, once again.
07-21-21 | Cubs v. Cardinals -1.5 | 2-3 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 18 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 960 STL CARDINALS -1.5, RL, +170 (8:15pm E, Wednesday, July 21) CUB: Hendricks. STL: Wainwright The Cardinals ace against the Cubs’ ace and not a lot needs to be written here. These two teams hate each other and the Cubs won last night in St. Louis. Chicago is gutting their team and The Cardinals are just now starting to come together. They walk away from the Cubs tonight and we collect.
07-21-21 | Orioles v. Rays -1.5 | 4-5 | Loss | -104 | 1 h 9 m | Show
6-Unit Play: Take 964 TAMPA BAY RAYS -1.5, RL, -110 OVER ORIOLES (12:10pm E, Wednesday, July 21) BAL: Wells. TB: Wacha The Orioles have been totally hit and miss this year and Tampa Bay has realized they’re good. Really good! There’ll be runs scored in this game, but most will by the Rays and the Orioles will fall even farther down in the standings.
07-20-21 | Pirates v. Diamondbacks +1.5 | 6-11 | Win | 100 | 5 h 6 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 910 ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS -1.5, RL, +180 OVER PIRATES (9:40pm E, Tuesday, July 20) PIT: Anderson. ARI: Widener The Pirates outplayed the Diamondbacks, yesterday, but couldn't get over the hump for the victory. Arizona, with newfound confidence, has nothing to play for, but to beat teams like Pittsburgh when they come to town. The D'Backs are not as bad as their record and we think they'll win today.
07-20-21 | Rangers v. Tigers -1.5 | 1-4 | Win | 179 | 5 h 45 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 920 DETROIT TIGERS -1.5, RL, +170 OVER RANGERS (7:10pm E, Tuesday, July 20) TEX: Dunning. DET: Skubal This is one of our favorite plays of the day. We think the Tigers should be favored by much more, especially with Skubal on the mound. Detroit has been beating some damn good teams - they should have no problem with Dunning and the Rangers.
07-19-21 | Giants v. Dodgers -1.5 | 7-2 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 57 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 962 LA DODGERS -1.5, RL, +170 OVER GIANTS (3:10pm E, Monday, July 19) SF: Gausman. LAD: Gonsolin The Dodgers never overlook the Giants – they’re bitter rivals, so it comes down to which is the best team and where they are playing. We have Gonsolin and Gausman fairly even, so that points all arrows towards the Los Angeles Dodgers. They win at home and by more than 2. They have to make a statement.
07-18-21 | Red Sox v. Yankees -1.5 | 1-9 | Win | 160 | 6 h 53 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 928 NY YANKEES -1.5, RL, +165 OVER RED SOX (7:08pm E, Sunday, July 18) BOS: Perez. NYY: Taillon The Yankees are finding their way and with a win over the Red Sox yesterday, their confidence is back. Aaron Judge is out with Covid Protocol, but we think the Yanks have enough bats and a high enough “pissed value,” to overcome 1 or 2 players out sick. They need to end this series with a bang (bad humor after last night’s Nationals’ game).
07-17-21 | Brewers -1.5 v. Reds | 7-4 | Win | 124 | 6 h 38 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 957 MILWAUKEE BREWERS -1.5, RL, OVER Cincinnati (7:05pm E, Saturday, July 17) MIL: Woodruff. CIN: Castillo Woodruff is pitching out of his mind and, although we think the Cincinnati Reds will make a run for the division, now is not the time for the Big Red Machine. Milwaukee is here to make a statement and Yelich and Woodruff are their loudest voices.
07-17-21 | Padres -1.5 v. Nationals | 5-4 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 35 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take: 953 SAN DIEGO PADRES -1.5, RL, OVER NATIONALS (7:05pm E, Saturday, July 17) SD: Snell. WAS: Corbin The Padres are playing as good a ball as anyone right now – as is evident by their 24-8 win over the Nationals yesterday. 8 runs usually wins in MLB, but nobody expects 24 on the other side. Look for the Padres to keep hitting, but Snell to hold Washington down today. We don’t think the Nats go far in the 2nd half.
07-16-21 | Astros -1.5 v. White Sox | 7-1 | Win | 124 | 7 h 7 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 927 HOUSTON ASTROS -1.5, RL, OVER WHITE SOX (8:10pm E, Friday, July 16) HOU; McCULLERS. CHW: Cease The final game before the All Star Break, Houston had scored only 3 through 2 games and 8 innings in a 3-game series at home with the Yankees. They scored 6 runs in the bottom of ninth, to win, without making an out. That kind of thing produces so much confidence in a team and Houston will build off that, coming out of the Break.
07-16-21 | Rangers v. Blue Jays -1.5 | 2-10 | Win | 100 | 6 h 4 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 922 TORONTO BLUE JAYS -1.5, RL, OVER RANGERS (7:07pm E, Friday, July 16) TEX: Lyles. TOR: Ray The Texas Rangers may have been better in the first half than everyone thought they'd be, but the Blue Jays are the real deal, and they really are one of the best teams in baseball. Throw in their ace, Ray and you have very few runs on one side and an explosive offense on the other. Rays should win this one easily in Toronto.
07-16-21 | Marlins -1.5 v. Phillies | 2-5 | Loss | -100 | 3 h 4 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 901 MIAMI MARLINS -1.5, RL, OVER PHILLIES (4:05pm E, Friday, July 16) MIA: ALCANTARA. PHI: Moore. Miami has come alive lately, both offensively and defensively and they're going to be a force to be reckoned with, in the 2nd half. They have it all and now they have it all working. They'll surprise the Phillies in Philadelphia today.
07-11-21 | Reds v. Brewers -1.5 | 3-1 | Loss | -100 | 3 h 37 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 906 MILWAUKEE BREWERS -1.5, RL, OVER REDS (2:10pm E, Sunday, July 11) CIN: Castillo. MIL: Woodruff If you watched yesterday's game, you have everything you need to jump all over the Brewers today. They flat got screwed by the umps, missed a couple of strike calls mid-game, then gave up a 3-run homer, threw out their manager, threw out their best player, Zelich (who was called out on a play you NEVER see) and heard it from the fans the rest of the game. The umps will lean towards being more fair to the Brewers today and that should let them build a substantial lead and easily cover the -1.5 runs. Our favorite game of the day!
07-10-21 | Diamondbacks v. Dodgers -1.5 | 1-22 | Win | 100 | 9 h 16 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 962 LA DODGERS -1.5, RL, OVER D'BACKS (10:10pm E, Saturday, July 10) ARI: Smith. LAD: Buehler Let's see, one of the best teams in baseball against one of the worst - Buehler vs. Smith - what to do, what to do?we're going out on a limb (not really) and taking the Dodgers to stomp the D'Backs today. After this year, they may be called the Arizona Garter Snakes! The Dodgers rarely let games like this get away.
07-10-21 | Yankees -1.5 v. Astros | 1-0 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 22 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 975 NY YANKEES -1.5, RL, OVER ASTROS (7:15pm E, Saturday, July 10) NYY: Cole. HOU: Greinke We've said it before: these two teams hate one other and the Yankees like that. It seems every team hates the Yankees, so it's kind of fun for them to be on the other side and with the offense clicking and Cole on the mound. Don't be surprised if Greinke is crying by the 5th inning. Take New York to Yank another one out from under the Astros.
07-10-21 | Reds v. Brewers -1.5 | 4-3 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 19 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 960 MILWAUKEE BREWERS -1.5, RL, OVER REDS (7:15pm E, Saturday, July 10) CIN: Gutierrez. MIL: Peralta The Brewers let one slip away last night. You'll rarely see that excellent offense held scoreless. They are red hot with anger and you'll see that today, as they get aggressive on the bases and Peralta shuts down the Reds' O.
07-10-21 | Pirates v. Mets -1.5 | 2-4 | Win | 120 | 6 h 19 m | Show
6-Unit Play: Take 982 NY METS (2nd Game of DH) -1.5, RL, OVER PIRATES (7:10pm E, Saturday, July 10) PIT: Kranick. NYM: Megill Again, one of the best teams in baseball against one of the worst. The Mets' offense should own this game - if we had another play, we'd take the over. This is a VERY solid play, especially coming into the All Star break, as every team wants to sweep their last series for positioning, but only a few have a real chance. This is one of them. The Mets should kill the Pirates in this game and if, by a fluke they lose Game 1, you can bump the amount you play on this game, up. We would, but we won't know, until well after this game is released.
07-10-21 | Braves v. Marlins -1.5 | 5-4 | Loss | -100 | 3 h 12 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 956 MIAMI MARLINS -1.5, RL, OVER BRAVES (4:10pm E, Saturday, July 10) ATL: FRIED. MIA: ROGERS We have no clue what the Marlins were doing with their starting pitching yesterday (and other days). They have some kind of hair-brained scheme, where they bring in one guy for the first inning, then maybe another for the second, then their scheduled starter starts the third. Here's why that doesn't work: the first inning is a starting pitcher's most important inning in baseball. The second is the second. Starting pitchers work hard to go scoreless those first two innings. Kind of defeats the purpose when they come in in the 3rd inning and they're already down 2 or 3 runs. If the Marlins do start Rogers today, they should take the Braves and take them handily - they have something to prove.
07-10-21 | Nationals v. Giants -1.5 | 4-10 | Win | 102 | 3 h 6 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 952 SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS -1.5, RL, OVER NATIONALS (4:05pm E, Saturday, July 10) WAS: Lester. SF: DeSclafani The Giants are just plain hard to beat in San Francisco (actually, anywhere, but definitely on the Bay). Lester has lost his luster and if there is any team that is going to exploit that, it's the Giants. DeSclafani and team will swat away from the Nats today.
07-09-21 | Reds v. Brewers -1.5 | 2-0 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 1 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 908 MILWAUKEE BREWERS -1.5, RL, OVER REDS (8:10pm E, Friday, July 9) CIN: Miley. MIL: Lauer Milwaukee showed Cincinnati why they're the division leaders, last night, with a 5-3 win. Their offense is on ?GO,? while the Reds' O is sputtering. Add Matt Lauer to mix, at home and we see another easy victory. Miley, for the Reds, is a good pitcher, but this offense and this team know how to play against division foes at home and as bad as the Reds need this game, they won't get it. The Brewers LOVE to make statements. This is one of them!
07-09-21 | Tigers v. Twins -1.5 | Top | 2-4 | Win | 100 | 7 h 58 m | Show |
10-Unit Play: Take 926 MINNESOTA TWINS -1.5, RL OVER TIGERS (8:10pm E, Friday, July 9) DET: Manning. MIN: Maeda The Tigers have the ability to play over their heads sometimes, but the Twins and Maeda won't let that happen tonight. They know if they want to get back in the race, which they are good enough to do so, they need to win games like this (against Manning and his 7.94 ERA and a dismal 6 strikeouts) and even better, win as many of these types of series, as they can. Twins should score early and often in this one and Maeda should keep the Tigers' bats quiet.
07-08-21 | Reds v. Brewers -1.5 | 3-5 | Win | 175 | 8 h 47 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 960 MILWAUKEE BREWERS -1.5, RL, OVER REDS (8:10pm E, Thursday, July 8) The Brewers are happy to be back home where they'll let the Reds know where they stand. The Reds, for as good of an offense as they have, have not been scoring that many runs. That works with teams like KC, but it won't work in Milwaukee. The Brewers make a statement today and win this one, easily.
07-06-21 | Rockies v. Diamondbacks -1.5 | 3-4 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 53 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 960 ARIZONA D'BACKS -1.5, RL, OVER ROCKIES (9:40pm E, Tuesday, July 6) COL: Gray. ARI: Kelly Arizona has a lousy record, but so does Colorado and we really like the way Kelly pitches, when he starts. Arizona still has pride and they DEFINITELY want to win home games against the crappy teams. They should walk away with this one.
07-06-21 | Red Sox -1.5 v. Angels | 3-5 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 53 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 975 BOSTON RED SOX -1.5, RL, OVER ANGELS (9:38pm E, Tuesday, July 6) BOS: Eovaldi. LAA: Ohtani The Red Sox: a team with some of the best numbers in the bigs and NO TEAM has a problem getting up for Ohtani. Teams have had his number, lately and we think the Red Sox will too. We really like Ohtani, but not in this position - Boston has too much firepower for him and we see Eovaldi shutting down the Angels. Take the Red Sox in a blowout.
07-05-21 | Phillies v. Cubs -1.5 | 13-3 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 53 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 910 CHICAGO CUBS -1.5, RL, OVER PHILLIES (8:05pm E, Monday, July 5) PHI: Moore. CUB: Davies The Cubs played better than their results against the Reds. Two of those games could have easily gone their way. They're not great this year (some even say with the Darvish trade, that they've begun rebuilding), but they're better than their record. Things should start going their way, now that they're back in the friendly confines of Wrigley. The Phillies had a TOUGH weekend against the Padres and it showed up yesterday. Look for much the same today.
07-04-21 | Orioles v. Angels -1.5 | 5-6 | Loss | -105 | 4 h 15 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 976 LA ANGELS -1.5, RL, OVER ORIOLES (4:07pm E, Sunday, July 4) BAL: Eshelman. LAA: Sandoval The Angels are playing all around good baseball. When their bats are hot, they don't need great defense, but yesterday was fairly close game and they put on a fielding clinic. The Orioles have played better than they are lately and still lost. The same will happen today, as Sandoval keeps them in check.
07-04-21 | Cubs v. Reds -1.5 | 2-3 | Loss | -100 | 1 h 23 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 958 CINCINNATI REDS -1.5, RL, OVER CUBS (1:10pm E, Sunday, July 4) CUB: Hendricks. CIN: Miley The Reds have left a plethora of men on base, in this series, and we think that comes to an end today. They're hitting the ball well, but just can't bring 'em around. They will today, as they play a mix of small ball and slugging and leave the Cubs wondering what happened this week.
07-04-21 | Rays v. Blue Jays -1.5 | 5-1 | Loss | -100 | 1 h 18 m | Show
4-UNIT PLAY: Take 966 TORONTO -1.5, RL, OVER RAYS (1:07pm E, Sunday, July 4) TB: Yarbrough. TOR: Ray If you've watched any of the games in Toronto, lately, then you know how small the park is and that the ball is carrying. Toronto is hitting and slugging as well as any team in the bigs and we expect them to lay it on heavy, again, today. Ray gives the Rays all they want from the hill.
07-03-21 | Rangers v. Mariners -1.5 | 7-3 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 37 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 928 SEATTLE MARINERS -1.5, RL, OVER RANGERS (10:10pm E, Saturday, July 3) TEX: Lyles. SEA: Gonzales The Rangers have been playing better than they are lately, but we don't see that tonight. Seattle and Gonzales should bring Texas back down to earth and, though he's good, we see the Mariners getting to Lyles early.
07-03-21 | Red Sox v. A's -1.5 | 6-7 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 43 m | Show
6-Unit Play: Take 924 OAKLAND A'S -1.5, RL, OVER BOSTON (7:15pm E, Saturday, July 3) BOS: Richards. OAK: Irvin Oakland is fuming over their loss to Boston yesterday. They have the team, this year, that can handle those east coast teams, like the Red Sox, Yankees, etc. They are a great hitting and slugging team, and they need to win this series badly. It starts tonight when they run away from Boston and Richards.
07-03-21 | Padres -1.5 v. Phillies | 2-4 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 44 m | Show
4-UNIT PLAY: Take 901 SAN DIEGO PADRES -1.5, RL, OVER PHILLIES (4:05pm E, Saturday, July 3) SD: Darvish. PHI: Eflin The Phillies closers killed our run line play last night. The bullpen is terrible, and it'll be what keeps them out of the playoffs, unless they figure it out quickly. We don't think they'll use their closers today, as we see the Padres offense in hyper mode and Davish keeping the Phils off the bases.
07-02-21 | Red Sox -1.5 v. A's | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 51 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 975 BOSTON RED SOX -1.5, RL, OVER OAKLAND A'S (9:40pm E, Friday, July 2) BOS: Rodriguez. OAK: Montas. It's just like the Red Sox to go into hostile territory and come out smelling like a rose. But that's what should happen, this first game of the series and, after scoring 15 runs last night, we know they're hitting the ball well and should have Oakland looking to tomorrow's game early,in this one.
| |||||||
07-02-21 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Nationals | 10-5 | Win | 146 | 6 h 20 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 955 LA DODGERS -1.5, OVER NATIONALS (7:05pm E, Friday, July 2) LAD: Urias. WAS: Scherzer We love the Nationals and how they're playing this year, but Urias and the Dodgers should bring them to their senses. The Dodgers don't have a hole in their lineup and they love to hit off pitchers like Scherzer. Watch them take this one rather easily tonight.
07-02-21 | Padres v. Phillies -1.5 | 3-4 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 22 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 952 PHILADELPHI PHILLIES -1.5, RL, OVER PADRES (6:05pm E, Friday, July 2) SD: Paddack. PHI: Wheeler Philadelphia is a tough place to play, especially when the Phillies are waiting to ambush a team that thinks pretty highly of themselves. The Phillies have been waiting for San Diego, though you probably won't see a sweep of the series, you should see a comfortable win tonight. Take the Phils!
07-01-21 | Padres v. Reds -1.5 | 4-5 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 5 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 908 CINCINNATI REDS -1.5, RL, OVER PADRES (7:10pm E, Thursday, July 1) SD: Weathers. CIN: Castillo The Reds need to prove something before San Diego leaves town: that their offense is just as good or better than the Padres. Look for a high scoring game in the Small American Ballpark.
06-30-21 | Mariners v. Blue Jays -1.5 | 9-7 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 32 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 966 TORONTO BLUE JAYS -1.5, RL, over Seattle (7:07pm E, Wednesday, June 30) SEA: Sheffield. TOR: Matz The Toronto Blue Jays are on fire and especially at home. Once again, look for Guerro to have a couple of extra base hits and maybe a homer. Matz should hold Seattle down the fairly weak Mariners' offense and Sheffield may be gone by the 5th inning.
06-30-21 | Diamondbacks v. Cardinals -1.5 | 4-7 | Win | 102 | 2 h 38 m | Show
6-Unit Play: Take 952 STL CARDINALS -1.5, RL, OVER D'BACKS (1:15pm E, Wednesday, June 30) ARI: Smith. STL: Kim. Cardinals should just crush the Diamondbacks at home today. St. Louis is another team that seems to win games that they should win. This is one of those games and Kim is one of the best pitchers in baseball. This shouldn't be close.
06-28-21 | Diamondbacks v. Cardinals -1.5 | 1-7 | Win | 116 | 7 h 22 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 960 STL CARDINALS -1.5, RL. OVER DIAMONDBACKS (8:15pm E, Monday, June 28) ARI: Farla. STL: LeBlanc Wow, it makes you almost feel sorry for Arizona, the way they've let this season go. Almost, unless we can take advantage of it, and we will tonight in St. Louis. The Cardinals almost never miss the chance for a gimee win and tonight shouldn't be much different. They should crush the D'backs.
06-28-21 | Tigers v. Indians -1.5 | 5-13 | Win | 127 | 6 h 15 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 966 CLEVELAND INDIANS -1.5, RL, OVER TIGERS (7:10pm E, Monday, June 28) DET: Manning. CLE: Morgan We almost feel traitors, taking the Indians after winning big with the Tigers a couple of times this weekend, but that's the nature of our game. Morgan will outpitch Manning and the Indians will perform for the hometown crowd.
06-28-21 | Angels v. Yankees -1.5 | 5-3 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 12 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 964 NY YANKEES -1.5, RL, OVER ANGELS (7:05 E, Monday, June 28) LAA: Bundy. NYY: King The Yankees are coming off a sweep by their sworn enemy and leader of the division, Boston Red Sox. How do you think they feel? Yep! And they're going to take it out on the Los Angeles Angels tonight. Look for the Yanks to come alive!
06-26-21 | Braves v. Reds -1.5 | 1-4 | Win | 160 | 4 h 27 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 958 CINCINNATI REDS -1.5, RL, OVER BRAVES (4:10pm E, Saturday, June 26) CIN: Castillo. ATL: Anderson We don't see this game even being close. The Reds don't lose much at home and they HATED losing to the Braves yesterday. Look for the Reds bats to be loud and Castillo will shut down that Braves lineup. Take the Reds and watch Anderson leave before the 5th inning.
06-26-21 | Royals v. Rangers -1.5 | 0-8 | Win | 140 | 4 h 25 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 972 TEXAS RANGERS -1.5, RL, OVER ROYALS (4:05pm E, Saturday, June 26) KC: Zimmer TEX: Gibson We LOVE the way the Texas Rangers have been playing both with bats and gloves. They've looked like a major league team, the last couple of days. We see the same today with Gibson on the mound. Rangers take another, easily.
06-25-21 | Diamondbacks v. Padres -1.5 | 5-11 | Win | 100 | 10 h 22 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 914 San Diego Padres -1.5, RL, OVER DIAMONDBACKS (10:10pm E, Friday, June 25) ARI: Martin. SD: Paddack Don't think the Padres haven't been looking forward to a team they can really beat up on. Arizona had an 18-game losing streak for a reason: they're terrible. San Diego will cruise with this win.
06-25-21 | Mariners v. White Sox -1.5 | 9-3 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 25 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 930 CHICAGO WHITE SOX -1.5, RL OVER MARINERS (8:10pm E, Friday, June 25) SEA: Kikuchi. CHW: Rodon This should be an absolute runaway. White Sox at home with Rodon on the mound? Kikuchi is good, but Chicago can hit anybody. This should be a blowout and it should start early. White Sox are one of the best teams in the league.
06-25-21 | Royals v. Rangers +1.5 | 4-9 | Win | 100 | 8 h 18 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 926 TEXAS RANGERS -1.5, RL, OVER ROYALS (8:05pm E. Friday, June 25) KC: Minor. TEX: Dunning. Well, Texas let us down yesterday, but they got down 3 runs in the first and catch up. Today will be a different story. Their bats will get hot and Dunning will keep the Royals at bay. We'll win this one! Again, though, we're not going to be on Texas a whole lot this year.
06-24-21 | Indians v. Twins -1.5 | 4-1 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 39 m | Show
6-Unit Play: Take 970 MINNESOTA TWINS -1.5, RL, OVER CLEVELAND (4:07pm E, Thursday, June 24th) MIN: Berrios. CLE: Mejia. Minnesota at home against a beat-up Cleveland Indians team (they'll be calling up AA players, soon). Minnesota, as we've said many times, can put up runs with anyone. They won't need that many tonight, but they'll get 'em.
06-24-21 | Nationals -1.5 v. Marlins | 7-3 | Win | 145 | 8 h 44 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 951 WASHINGTON NATIONALS -1.5, RL, +145 OVER MARLINS (1:10pm E, Thursday, June 24th) WAS: ROSS. MIA: POTEET Washington is just too much for the Marlins. Excellent pitching, great hitting, and big slugging. They can do it all and they don't have to be ?On? to do it. They should have no problems with Miami today.
06-24-21 | Astros -1.5 v. Tigers | 12-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 41 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 965 HOUSTON ASTROS -1.5, RL, OVER TIGERS (7:10pm E, Thursday, June 24th) HOU: Garcia. DET: Urena This should be an easy one. The Astros are finally playing like the playoff team that they are and just hitting almost everything hard. On the other side, the Tigers are dealing with a plethora of injuries, including Cabrera. That's about all you need to know to play this. Go Stros!
06-24-21 | Royals v. Yankees -1.5 | 1-8 | Win | 100 | 2 h 38 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 960 NY YANKEES -1.5, -110 OVER ROYALS (1:05pm, E, Thursday, June 24th) KC: Keller. NYY: Taillon The Yankees have been put to the test by the Royals this week, but we see that coming to an end today. Taillon should easily outpitch Keller and it's time for the Yankees bats to come alive. Take the Yanks!
06-23-21 | Royals v. Yankees -1.5 | 5-6 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 38 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 912 NY YANKEES -1.5, RL, OVER ROYALS (6:05pm E, Tuesday, June 23nd) KC: Duffy. NYY: King It's hard to win two days in a row in Yankee Stadium, especially when you're the Royals. Kansas City's pitcher, Duffy has been injured, so we don't expect him to throw a ton of pitches today and the Yankees bullpen is more rested than the Royal's. Look for the Yankees to avenge!
06-21-21 | Indians v. Cubs -1.5 | 4-0 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 36 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 914 CHICAGO CUBS -1.5 RL OVER INDIANS (8:05pm E, Monday, June 21st) CLE: Civale. CUB: Alzolay. The Cubs are back to playing good ball and the Indians are so beat up, they can hardly field a team. Look for Alzolay and the Cubs to put it to the Indians today and defend home field.
06-19-21 | Mets v. Nationals -1.5 | 5-1 | Loss | -100 | 1 h 29 m | Show
6-Units: Take 902 WASHINGTON NATIONALS -1.5, RL. +180 Over METS (Game 1) (1:05pm E, Saturday, June 19th) NYM: Peterson. WAS: Ross This was our first loss of a 7-Unit Play, yesterday and we just couldn't get that second run. Everytime we got two men on base, they turned two and got out of the inning. Today we will win and with Ross on the mound against Peterson, look for a lopsided score today in this first game of a doubleheader.
06-17-21 | Reds v. Padres -1.5 | 4-6 | Win | 125 | 9 h 48 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 910 SAN DIEGO PADRES -1.5, Over REDS (8:40pm E, Thursday, June 17th) CIN: Miley. SD: Musgrove The San Diego Padres are just aching to get back in form and at home, with Musgrove on the mound, is where it will happen. Cincinnati just can't score runs and the Padres will explode. This won't be a good start to the series for the Reds. Padres could really explode in this one.
06-17-21 | Cardinals v. Braves -1.5 | 0-4 | Win | 107 | 8 h 32 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 906 ATLANTA BRAVES -1.5, RL, Over STL CARDINALS (7:20pm E, Thursday, June 17th) STL: GANT. ATL: Morton. This is a series we've been waiting for and definitely this game. Gant doesn't have the stuff to keep the Atlanta bats quiet, and the Cardinals don't have the bats to make any noise against Charlie Morton. Morton will settle Atlanta down and Gant will be out by the 5th inning. If the odds weren't so high (-190), we'd take the Braves in the first 5 innings too. Have fun with this one.
06-17-21 | Orioles v. Indians -1.5 | 3-10 | Win | 165 | 1 h 17 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 912 CLEVELAND INDIANS -1.5, RL, Over ORIOLES (1:10pm E, Thursday, June 17th) BAL: Lopez. CLE: Morgan This is one of those games that looks too good to be true, but we like all the matchups and these two teams are not friends. Look for Lopez to do something stupid early, to cause a raucus, the Indians will take over from there. We like their bats against Lopez, anyway. This should be a walk in the park, well, except for the Indians circling the wagons and all that stuff. Take it from there...
06-16-21 | Red Sox v. Braves -1.5 | 10-8 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 47 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 980 ATLANTA BRAVES -1.5, RL, +130 Over RED SOX (7:20pm E, Wednesday, June 16th) ATL: Anderson. BOS: Richards We've talked a lot about the Braves this year and their not going to lose very many back-to-back games at home. Boston is overrated and Atlanta is underrated. The Braves will come back tonight with fire in their eyes, play aggressively, and blow out Boston.
06-16-21 | Padres -1.5 v. Rockies | 7-8 | Loss | -130 | 4 h 39 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 955 SAN DIEGO PADRES -1.5, RL,-140 Over ROCKIES (3:10pm E, Wednesday, June 16th) SD: Snell. COL: Freeland The Rockies have absolutely nothing this year. You get a hitting and slugging team like the Padres and put them in the thin air of Denver, double digit runs are in play. Take the Padres to win this one going away, especially with Snell on the mound.
06-16-21 | Marlins -1.5 v. Cardinals | 0-1 | Loss | -100 | 2 h 46 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 951 MIAMI MARLINS -1.5, RL, + 145 Over CARDINALS (1:15am E) Wednesday, June 16th) MIA: Alcantara. STL: Oviedo The Marlins are in a 3-game losing streak and that ends today with Alcantara and his 3.28 ERA on the hill against Oviedo's 5.78 ERA. Look for Alcantara to have all of his stuff today and the Cardinals will be in single digits in hits.
06-15-21 | Twins -1.5 v. Mariners | 0-10 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 38 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 927 MINNESOTA TWINS -1.5, RL, Over MARINERS (10:10pm E, Tuesday, June 15th: MIN: Happ. SEA: Flexen We've said it many times, but the Mariners came out of the box showing more than they really have. They're a good team, but they're definitely not a great team and the Twins will handle them tonight. Happ's ERA of 5.75 is deceiving as is Flexen's 4.68 (for different reasons). The wind is blowing out at about 9 mph and we like the Minnesota sluggers to take advantage of that. It may be a different story tomorrow night, but the Twins take this one.
06-15-21 | Reds -1.5 v. Brewers | 2-1 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 40 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 905 CINCINNATI REDS -1.5, RL, Over BREWERS ( 8:10pm E, Tuesday, June 15th) CIN: Castillo. MIL: Anderson We've been talking about Cincinnati's offense all year long and proved it yesterday with a 10-2 win and they'll prove it today, with Castillo on the mound. Castillo had a fantastic outing, the last time on the hill and we think his confidence is back where it should be and he'll shut down the Brewers tonight.
06-15-21 | Rays v. White Sox -1.5 | 0-3 | Win | 172 | 9 h 37 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 924 CHICAGO WHITE SOX -1.5, RL, Over Tampa Bay (8:10pm E, Tuesday, June 15th) TB: McClanahan. CHW: Keuchel We don't care who they're playing, the White Sox are a very good team and after losing last night at home 5-2, we don't see it tonight, especially with Keuchel on the mound. He will shut down the Rays' offense, while the Chicago bats will get noisy tonight. LaRussa will have something up his sleeve and he won't lose two nights in a row at home.
06-15-21 | Red Sox v. Braves -1.5 | 10-8 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 51 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 930 ATLANTA BRAVES -1.5, RL, Over RED SOX (7:20pm E, Tuesday, June 15th) BOS: Rodriguez. ATL: Davidson. Well, the proof is in the pitching with Eduardo Rodriguez carrying a whopping 6.03 ERA against Tucker Davidson's 1.53. It doesn't end there, though. As we've said all year, Atlanta has energy, power, and speed up and down the lineup and Boston doesn't. Take the Braves to score early and often and run away with this one.
06-14-21 | Marlins v. Cardinals -1.5 | 2-4 | Win | 113 | 9 h 39 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 958 STL CARDINALS -1.5, RL, Over Miami (8:15pm E, Monday, June 14th) MIA: Garrett. STL: Wainwright. The Cardinals were embarrassed last night and they'll take it out on the Marlins. Adam Wainwright is the perfect go-to guy when they need a win. Their bats were quiet last night, and when they did liven up, it was right at somebody. They'll play excellent fundamental baseball tonight and hit it hard against Garret. It'll be high-scoring and it may be all Cards.
06-14-21 | Rays -1.5 v. White Sox | 5-2 | Win | 151 | 9 h 36 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 969 TAMPA BAY RAYS -1.5, RL Over White Sox (8:10pm E, Monday, June 14th) TB: Glasnow. White Sox: Lynn Glasnow is about as good as they get and Lynn will get so flustered tonight, you'll see shades of red you've never seen before. The Rays will scatter the ball all over the field and you can also throw in a few balls that go yard and watch an easy Tampa Bay win. The form that brought them a Pennant will be on display tonight and there may be even a fight or two. Tonight will show you why they'll go deep into the 2021 tournament.
06-14-21 | Cubs v. Mets -1.5 | 2-5 | Win | 170 | 8 h 38 m | Show
6-Unit Play: Take 954 NEW YORK METS -1.5, RL, Over CUBS (7:10pm E, Monday, June 14th) NYM: Peterson. CUB: Arrieta Met's need to get back in their "smash em" form, as it's been lacking a little, lately. The Cubs are in a drought but still handled the Cardinals and last night was as boring as it gets. Look for New York to come right out of the gate aggressively, scoring, and scoring a lot. We won't be surprised if they reach double digits tonight and leave the Cubs in their wake. Wind is blowing out at 10 mph and LaGuardia may see some UFOs tonight. The Mets will win this one going away.
06-12-21 | Padres -1.5 v. Mets | 1-4 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 55 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 957 SAN DIEGO PADRES -1.5, RL, Over NY METS (4:10pm E, Saturday, June 12th) SD: Musgrove. NYM: Stroman The Padres almost beat the best Mets there is, last night. With Musgrove on the mound for defense and those loud Padres bats for offense (with the wind blowing out to left) look for San Diego to score early and often. This offense will EXPLODE today - enjoy the and turn down the volume - those bats make a lot of noise.
06-11-21 | Blue Jays v. Red Sox -1.5 | 5-6 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 25 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 920 BOSTON RED SOX -1.5, RL, Over BLUE JAYS (7:10pm E, Friday, June 11th) TOR: Stripling. BOS: Richards The Red Sox finally found their bats, yesterday, and we don't think they're going away for a while. Boston has Richards on the hill and he's going against a seemingly struggling Stripling. Typically, we'd take the Jays in this spot, but since the Red Sox are swinging the bats so well, along with the confidence that brings, and playing at home, and the wind blowing towards that big Green Monster again, we think Boston may just run away with this one. Let's win this one big, then have a tea party.
06-11-21 | Orioles v. Rays -1.5 | Top | 2-4 | Win | 123 | 7 h 26 m | Show |
10-Unit Play: Take 914 TAMPA BAY RAYS -1.5, RL, Over ORIOLES (7:10pm E, Friday, June 11th) BAL: Akin. TB: Yarbrough The Orioles have been impressive lately. They've put up some good numbers and beaten some teams - AT HOME. That's the key: AT HOME. The Rays Yarbrough has quietly become one of the best pitchers in the bigs and have we forgotten that the Rays won the AL Pennant last year? This is basically the same team and they are GOOD. We expect them to make mockery out of the Orioles tonight and send them home to roost with a handsome defeat, maybe somewhere around 6-2... And it shouldn't be that close.
06-10-21 | Rockies v. Marlins -1.5 | 4-11 | Win | 100 | 7 h 15 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 960 MIAMI MARLINS -1.5, RL, Over ROCKIES (7:10pm E, Thursday, June 10th) COL: Gonzales. MIA: Rogers. This game shouldn't even be on the board, in our opinion, except that Gonzales will give the Rockies a breath of a chance, even at sea level - just a breath. We know when to take the Rockies and when not to - this is NOT one of those times. Look for Rogers to completely shut down the Colorado bats and, by the 5th inning, look for the Marlins and Colorado to be on Rocky Mountain Highs, although two, very different ones. Miami swims away with this one.
06-10-21 | Astros v. Red Sox -1.5 | 8-12 | Win | 176 | 7 h 14 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 964 BOSTON RED SOX -1.5, RL, Over HOUSTON (7:10pm E, Thursday, June 10th) HOU: Greinke. BOS: Rodriguez. Houston has, pretty much, had their way with Boston. Man, have they poured on the offense, but we see a different outcome, tonight. We expect Boston to play "Get Even" with the Stros and show off a little "O" of their own. Houston's pitcher Greinke can get rattled and when he does, he looks like a little kid who wants to take his baseball and go home. We think you'll side tonight, as the Red Sox slam ball after ball off the Green Monster, with the wind blowing that way and Boston pushing the "Revenge" button.
06-09-21 | Brewers v. Reds -1.5 | 3-7 | Win | 165 | 8 h 31 m | Show
6-Unit Play: Take 908 CINCINNATI REDS Over BREWERS (7:10pm E, Wednesday, June 9th) MIL: Anderson. CIN: Guitiererrez. The Reds were blindsided last night, both with an impressive defensive showing by the Brewers (you hold the Reds to 1 run in Cincinnati, you've done something) and with the injury to one of the league's best pitchers, Sonny Gray, they were a little concerned. That goes away tonight, with Guitierrez on the mound and we expect this offensive power team to show it all off tonight. We don't know what it takes to convince folks that the Reds have one of the best offensive teams in baseball, but tonight will go a long way. We expect a solid victory by the home team tonight and the Brewers' bats should be kept at bay. Oh, yeah, and Joe Votto should be starting tonight for the Reds - Welcome back, JV!
06-09-21 | Braves v. Phillies -1.5 | 1-2 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 29 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 904 PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES -1.5, RL, Over BRAVES (7:05pm E, Wednesday, June 9th) ATL: Davidson. PHI: Eflin. Enter the great rivalry between the Phillies and the Braves. The Phillies are a very good team, this year, as are the Braves and this is a perfect evening to lock onto the hometeam, after a 9-5 loss to the Braves, last night. Eflin is a go-to guy for the Phillies, one of the best pitchers in the league and we think this is a perfect time to pick up some $$$ with him. No doubt Tucker Davidson and his 2.31 ERA (on the mound for the Braves) is a terrific pitcher, but we like the Phillies' bats to get to him early and hopefully knock him out by the 5th inning.
06-09-21 | Diamondbacks v. A's -1.5 | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 4 h 57 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 924 OAKLAND A'S -1.5, RL, Over DIAMONDBACKS (3:37pm E, Wednesday, June 9th) ARI: Peacock. OAK: Manaea. Oakland, at home, Manaea on the mound, wind blowing almost straight out at about 14 mph, in a day game, all leads to, what we think is going to be an A's blowout. Diamondback's Peacock is a good pitcher in his own right, with his 4.41 ERA, but he's going against one of the best slugging teams in baseball and that 4.41, we think, will turn into a 9.41 ERA, before the 5th inning is through. Oakland, on a day where pop flies turn into 3 run homers should score a bushel of runs and win this one going away.
06-08-21 | Mariners v. Tigers -1.5 | 3-5 | Win | 170 | 8 h 8 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 962 DETROIT TIGERS -1.5, RL, Over SEATTLE (7:10pm E, Tuesday, June 8th) SEA: Gonzales. DET: Boyd The Tigers have been showing us a team we didn't expect this year, and the Mariners are beginning to play EXACTLY like we expected. Matthew Boyd and his 3.90 ERA (he's really even better than that) will take it to Marco Gonzales and his 5.01. Tigers are really swinging the bats well and you look for a blowout tonight, once those bats warm up. Look for Jonathon Schoop to put some numbers up tonight. We love the Tigers in this one.
06-08-21 | Rockies v. Marlins -1.5 | 2-6 | Win | 128 | 8 h 37 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 958 MIAMI MARLINS -1.5, RL, Over ROCKIES (7:10pm E, Tuesday, June 8th) COL: Senzatela. MIA: LOPEZ We've said it many times before, but there are only a few spots where we'll like the Rockies, this year, and this isn't one of them. Colorado is in a big rebuilding year and the Marlins are just beginning to come around. They are REALLY becoming a good ballclub and a hard club to beat. With Lopez on the mound, look for them to take this one easily.
06-08-21 | Brewers v. Reds -1.5 | 5-1 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 35 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 956 CINCINNATI REDS -1.5, RL, Over BREWERS (7:10pm E, Tuesday, June 8th) MIL: Houser. CIN: Gray The Reds have found themselves. They are one of the best offensive teams in the bigs and, man, do they love to show it off to teams who have beaten up on them in the past. With Sonny Gray on the hill a team that just won't quit on offense, you can expect a lot out of them this year, but we love them tonight. The Brewers are going to run into a buzzsaw at 7:10 tonight and we're all over the Reds and watch it happen!
06-08-21 | Astros -1.5 v. Red Sox | 7-1 | Win | 133 | 8 h 34 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 963 HOUSTON ASTROS -1.5, RL, Over BOSTON (7:10pm E, Tuesday, June 8th) HOU: Valdez. BOS: PEREZ The Astros have come alive, of late, and are playing like the team they were expected to be. Framber Valdez and his 1.64 ERA will stop the Red Sox in their tracks tonight and let Yuli Gurriel and the rest of that powerhouse offense bring them another win. We like the Sox in only certain places this year. They got up for the Yankee series, but we like Houston to bring them back to earth tonight.
06-04-21 | Reds v. Cardinals -1.5 | 6-4 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 50 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 960 STL CARDINALS -1.5 RL, OVER CINCINNATI (8:15pm E, Friday, June 4th) CIN: Castillo. STL: KIM The Cardinals let one get away last night, but we don't see that happening with Kim and his 3.65 ERA on the hill tonight. The Red Birds should be able to pile up some hits against Castillo's 7.22 ERA and having some friendly noise in Busch stadium won't hurt, either. Look for the Cards to jump on the Reds early and often and fly away with this one.
06-04-21 | Nationals v. Phillies -1.5 | 2-1 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 35 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 952 PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES -1.5 RL Over NATIONALS (7:05pm E, Friday, June 4th) WAS: Scherzer. PHI: Wheeler. At first look, you'd definitely lean towards the Washington Nationals on this play. Scherzer doesn't lose very often, but he doesn't play a solid, hungry Philly team, with Wheeler on the mound very often, either. Believe it or not, Wheeler is just a few ticks higher on the ERA map than Scherzer and the Philly bats are really good this year. Don't be surprised if they swat the Nats and get to Scherzer early.
06-03-21 | Reds v. Cardinals -1.5 | 4-2 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 40 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 908 STL CARDINALS -1.5, RL, +135 Over REDS (8:15pm E, Thursday, June 3rd) STL: Wainwright. CIN: Gutierrez. The Cardinals are happy to be back home and definitely out of La La Land. Look for Adam Wainwright to be just what the doctor ordered against Gutierrez for the Reds. This should be a relatively high scoring game and, although the Reds have good hitters, the Cards have great sluggers and you know how much we love sluggers, especially in a big park. Take the Cards to win their first game in this series at Busch.
06-03-21 | Rangers v. Rockies -1.5 | 6-11 | Win | 160 | 4 h 38 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 924 COLORADO ROCKIES -1.5, RL, +150 Over TEXAS (3:10pm, E, Thursday, June 3rd) TEX: Foltynewicz. Colorado: Gomber. You won't see us Run Lining the Rockies much this year, as they're in a rebuilding year and are not looking great. However, they have been hitting the ball better and they'd like to take their frustrations out on someone. The Rangers are the perfect someone. Gomber will out pitch Foltynewicz and the Rockies will hit and slug their way to a high-scoring victory in the high country.
06-03-21 | Nationals v. Braves -1.5 | 1-5 | Win | 147 | 1 h 47 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 902 ATLANTA BRAVES -1.5, RL, +145 Over NATIONALS (12:20pm E, Thursday, June 3rd) WAS: Corbin. ATL: Davidson We're not big fans of Patrick Corbin and his 6.23 ERA, but we do like Tucker Davidson and we (we've said it a million times) REALLY like the Braves' offense and especially their energy. Look for the Braves to walk away with this one and knock Corbin out in 5 innings. The Braves are going to go a long way this year!
06-02-21 | Rays v. Yankees -1.5 | 3-4 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 49 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 966 NY YANKEES -1.5, RL Over TB RAYS (7:05pm E, Wednesday, June 2nd) TB: McClanahan. NYY: Montgomery. With the monkey off their back, watch the Bronx Bombers go to work today. Montgomery will hold Tampa Bay down, while Judge, Stanton (who sat out Tuesday), and Torres (also sat out Tuesday), come to life and make a distant memory out of that 4-game losing streak. Their offense has looked like the Lady Yanks the past couple of weeks, but it's amazing what one game can do to the confidence and the Rays have been just a little too cocky. Yanks take this one and take the cockiness out on them!
06-02-21 | Mets v. Diamondbacks -1.5 | 7-6 | Loss | -100 | 3 h 26 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 956 ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS -1.5, RL Over METS (3:40pm E, Wednesday, June 2nd) ARI: Bumgarner. NYM: Stroman How do you put the 20-36 Arizona Diamondbacks and the word "streaking" in the same sentence? What, are they playing without uniforms? No, we're talking about the D-Backs, Pavin Smith and his 12-Game Hit Streak. With their bats warming up and Madison Bumgarner on the mound, the Mets will be held at bay, while the Backs 1 and 2 run them to death all day. Take the Backs and Madison in this one.
06-02-21 | Padres v. Cubs -1.5 | 1-6 | Win | 180 | 2 h 7 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 954 CHICAGO CUBS -1.5, RL, Over PADRES (2:20pm E, Wednesday, June 2nd) CUB: Alzolay. SD: Lamet. The Cubbies just barely got by the Padres yesterday which messed up our Run Line Play, but they had their chances. We think they'll take advantage of them today. Hendricks pitched an excellent game and we expect the same out of Alzolay and his 3.81 today. Padres are on a 3 game skid. What better place to make it 4, than in the Friendly Confines of Wrigley Field. These are not your Grandfather's Cubs!
05-31-21 | Pirates v. Royals -1.5 | 3-7 | Win | 108 | 9 h 56 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 978 KANSAS CITY ROYALS -1.5, RL, Over PIRATES (8:10pm E, Monday, May 31st,) KC: Minor. PIT: Kuhl Pirates' pitcher Chad Kuhl, 0-1, with few starts this year, takes on solid Royals' pitcher, Mike Minor, 3-2 with a 4.83 ERA. The Royals need a blowout win and what better spot than at home, against the weak Pittsburgh Pirates. The Pirates had a hard time scoring enough runs against the hapless Rockies - we think they'll REALLY struggle against the Royals. The Royals' bats should light up Memorial Day.
05-31-21 | Nationals v. Braves -1.5 | 3-5 | Win | 115 | 6 h 57 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 956 ATLANTA BRAVES -1.5, RL, Over NATIONALS (5:10pm E, Monday, May 31st) WAS: Ross. ATL: Morton The Braves at home with Charlie Morton on the mound - it doesn't get much better than that - and rested after a postponed game last night. The Braves are one of our favorite offensive teams this year and we definitely like them at home tonight. Not only are they good hitters, they are great baserunners, with a ton of energy and create havoc for opposing pitchers. Look for them to beat up on the Nats, today!
05-31-21 | Rays v. Yankees -1.5 | 3-1 | Loss | -100 | 2 h 53 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 964 NY YANKEES -1.5, RL, Over RAYS (1:05pm E, Monday, May 31st) NYY: Tallion. TB: Hill It's rare when the Yankees lose three games in a row, but when they have, and they're coming back home (today), these are times they usually explode. With the wind blowing out towards the left field porch at 7-8 mph, look for a lot of runs in this game and most of them by the Yanks. They don't take losing very well and their paybacks are hell.
05-30-21 | Reds v. Cubs -1.5 | 5-1 | Loss | -100 | 3 h 11 m | Show
5-Unit Play: Take 906 CHICAGO CUBS -1.5, RL, +175 Over REDS (2:20pm E, Sunday, May 30th) CUBS: Arrieta. REDS: Mahle. Jake Arrieta takes his miniscule 1.27 ERA against Tyler Mahle's 3.58. Folks, if we could, we'd release a lot more units on this game, than 5. The Cubs are playing great ball on both sides and Cincinnati is just trying to hang in there and hope something happens. We don't see it against Arrieta. If Rizzo happens to play today (which we guess he will) count this game as a win, right now. Cubs win again, BIG!
05-30-21 | Phillies v. Rays -1.5 | 2-6 | Win | 163 | 2 h 1 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 928 TB RAYS -1.5, RL, +160 Over PHILLIES (1:10am E, Sunday, May 30th) PHI: Eflin. TB: McHugh. The Tampa Bay Rays are just playing great baseball. Zach Eflin takes the mound against Collin McHugh in a game that should produce more runs than yesterday. The Phillies are a really good team, but the Rays are playing as well as anyone in baseball, on both sides of the ball. We like the Tampa Bay Rays to back up yesterday's win, with another strong showing today.
05-29-21 | Marlins v. Red Sox -1.5 | Top | 1-3 | Win | 138 | 5 h 49 m | Show |
10-Unit Play: Take 978 BOSTON RED SOX -1.5, RL Over MARLINS (4:10pm E, Saturday, May 29th) BOS: Eovaldi. MIA: Rogers Nobody likes facing Boston's Eovaldi, but especially in this weather. Just like yesterday, wind will be blowing in at over 15, drizzle to rain predicted, and a wet field. Red Sox had no problem with it yesterday, we just wish (for our 7-Unit Play) it could have gone 8.5 innings. Boston is hitting the ball well and doing all the right things to win games, big. We think you'll see one today.
05-29-21 | Reds v. Cubs -1.5 | 2-10 | Win | 196 | 3 h 46 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 952 CHICAGO CUBS -1.5, RL, Over CINCINNATI (2:20pm E, Saturday, May 29th) CUBS: Davies. REDS: Castillo Cubs won the game yesterday, but needed one more run to cover our Run Line. They almost got it in the 7th and 8th, with a foul ball (just foul) and a shot 4-feet from the wall. We think they will today. Same conditions: wind blowing in and temp in the mid-50s. We think the Cubbies will adjust to their park better than the Reds and we'll take Davies on the mound. Watch the Cubs get by the Reds by quite a few today - the value is too good to pass up. We just hope Rizzo plays. He didn't play yesterday and is questionable today, with a tight back. This isn't the type of weather to loosen it up. They should handle them, even without him.
05-29-21 | Phillies v. Rays -1.5 | 3-5 | Win | 170 | 2 h 37 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 976 TAMPA BAY RAYS -1.5, RL, Over PHILLIES (1:10pm E, Saturday, May 29th) PHI: Wheeler. TB: Yarbrough With Tampa Bay having the best record in the league and Yarbrough and his 4.31 ERA and Philadelphia with a litany of injuries, Wheeler had better go 6 innings plus, because if they go to their lousy bullpen too early, they could be in trouble. Yes, Wheeler is a very good pitcher, but we feel that makes it a wash, maybe slightly favors the Rays. So we'll take the value of almost 2-1 odds, any day on a game like this. Light it up Rays!
05-28-21 | Cardinals v. Diamondbacks -1.5 | 8-6 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 50 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 910 ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS -1.5, Over STL CARDINALS (9:40pm E, Friday, May 28th) STL: Oviedo. AZ: Bumgarner Madison Bumgarner is just what the doctor ordered to bring an end to the Diamondbacks' 11-game losing streak. The Cardinals counter with Johan Oviedo, who is 0-2 this season. The main job for Bumgarner is going to be to keep Nolan Arenado and Javier Molina off the base pads. He does that and Arizona should score enough early for them to be able to run away with this one.
05-28-21 | Royals v. Twins -1.5 | 8-3 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 20 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 918 MINNESOTA TWINS -1.5, RL over ROYALS (8:10pm E, Friday, May 28th) Twins: Dobnak, Royals: Bubic The Royals roll into Minnesota to take on the Twins, who have finally found their bats. Their slugging percentage is 4th in the League at .424, led by Nelson Cruz (big surprise) with a slugging percentage of .524. Twins should handle struggling KC, as they're catching the Royals at a time when they can really steamroll them.
05-28-21 | Reds v. Cubs -1.5 | 0-1 | Loss | -100 | 3 h 32 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 902 CHICAGO CUBS -1.5 RL Over REDS (2:20pm E, Friday, May 28th) Cubs: Alzolay. Reds: Gutierrez The Cubs are coming home after a red hot road trip and the friendly confines of Wrigley Field are just what they need to keep that momentum and blow out the Reds. They got a little lucky in Pittsburgh yesterday, but they shouldn't need any luck today. If Kris Bryant continues his good hitting and Alzolay can the wind blowing in at 21 can keep Jesse Winker in the ballpark, the Cubbies should walk away with this one.
05-26-21 | Rangers v. Angels -1.5 | 8-9 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 41 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 918 LA Angels -1.5, RL Over TEXAS (4:07pm E, Wednesday, Wednesday, May 26th) Angels: Canning. Texas: Dunning Time for Canning and his 5.56 ERA to turn things around against Dunning and 3.74 ERA. It's also time for the Angels to start hitting. We say it'll be tonight and the Rangers are the perfect team to take it out on. Look for their bats come the Angels to blow someone out for a change.
05-26-21 | Cardinals v. White Sox -1.5 | 4-0 | Loss | -102 | 3 h 46 m | Show
4-Unit Play: Take 926 White Sox-1.5, RL, Over CARDINALS (2:10pm, E, Wednesday, May, 26th) WHITE SOX: RODON, CARDINALS: GANT. John Gant is a good pitcher with a 2.07 ERA, but he can't compete with Carlos Rodon's 1.27 ERA and the Cardinals can't compete with the White Sox bats. Take the White Sox on the Run Line to beat the Cards by more than 2 runs and we think, more than that.
05-25-21 | Reds v. Nationals -1.5 | 2-1 | Loss | -100 | 1 h 2 m | Show
4-Units: Take 956 WASHINGTON NATIONALS -1.5, RL, +110 Over REDS (7:05pm, E, Tuesday, May 25th) Reds: Mahle. Nationals: Scherzer What is there to say, except one of the best pitchers on the planet, Scherzer, is going against a good player on the planet, Mahle. Scherzer with his 2.24 ERA and Mahle with his 4.00 ERA. Nationals have a better hitting team, a better slugging team, and oh yeah, a pitcher that, every year he plays, has a good chance of winning the Cy Young. Any questions? Take Washington to walk away, briskly, from the Reds, in this one. |
