The New Orleans Pelicans holding onto the 9th playoff spot, but a bunch of teams surround them. In fact, the games separating 4th place LA Clippers and 11th place Utah are just 3.5-games. The Pelicans can get back to the .500 mark with a win here tonight. They have won three straight games including last time out vs Charlotte, 115-96, as a 9-point favorite. However, the Pelicans are just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 road games and 7-22 ATS their last 29 road games vs a team with a winning home record. The Clippers will be without Paul George, who is out indefinitely with a knee injury. They were without him last game in their win over the Thunder, 127-105, as a 4-point favorite. That made them 5-2 S/U and ATS in their last seven games. Time will tell the long term effects of the loss of George. For tonight though, I'll be on the Clippers.

Gonzaga coming off that emotional last second win over UCLA to propel them into the Elite 8. The Zags beat UCLA, 79-76, as a 1-point favorite. That makes 12 straight wins for Gonzaga but only two covers in their last five games. In fact, the Zags are just 4-12-1 ATS in their last 17 neutral site games and 1-7 ATS in their last eight NCAA games. Moreover, they are 3-11-1 ATS in their last 15 games following a ATS win. Connecticut has had little trouble in the NCAA tourney, beating Iona by 24, then St Mary's by 15 and last game over Arkansas by 23, 88-65. Now they look to take care of their second West Coast team in this tournament. The Huskies are 7-1-1 ATS their last nine games. They are also 19-7 ATS their last 26 NCAA tournament games. Connecticut might be the favorite now to win it all with all the No 1 seeds gone. I'll take U Conn here today to down another West Coast Conference team. Florida Atlantic's fairy tale story continues as they enter the Elite 8 of the NCAA tourney. The Owls beat Tennessee in the Sweet 16, 62-55, as a 4.5-point dog. That makes the Owls 10-0 in their last 10 games and 7-3 ATS. They are also 18-7-2 ATS in their last 27 games vs a team with a win percentage of 60% or better. Kansas State making up for their early exit in the Big 12 tourney when they lost to TCU, 67-80. Now they have won three straight including their OT win over Michigan State in the Sweet 16, 98-93, as a 1-point favorite. Kansas State is 7-2 ATS in their last nine games. With all the players that transfer each year, we are seeing more parity in the big schools and smaller ones. Thus, Florida Atlantic making such a big splash this year. NCAA Tourney Midwest Regional Semifinals has Xavier taking on Texas from Kansas City, Mo. Xavier lost in their own tourney finals to Marquette, 51-65. However, they have won their first two NCAA tourney games with wins over Kennesaw State, 72-67, as a 12-point favorite and over Pittsburgh, 84-73, as a 5-point favorite. The Musketeers have won seven of their last eight games and gone 6-5 ATS their last 11 games. They are now 25-8-2 ATS in their last 35 NCAA Tournament games and 15-5-1 ATS their last 21 games vs a team with a win percentage over 60%. Texas won the Big 12 Tournament finishing with a win over Kansas, 75-56, as a 2-point dog. They have won their two NCAA tourney games over Colgate, 81-61 and last game over Penn State, 71-66, as a 5-point favorite. That is six straight wins and a 6-0-1 ATS mark their last seven. One knock against Texas is that they are just 2-11-1 ATS in their last 14 NCAA tournament games. This looks to be a close game here on Saturday and I'll take the points with the dog. Take Xavier.

Very rare to see an Ivy league team make the sweet 16, but here is Princeton. They won the Ivy league tournament and now have beaten Arizona, 59-55 and Missouri, 78-63 to advance here tonight. They have also covered six straight games and nine of their last 11 games. The Tigers have also covered their last four NCAA tournament games. Creighton lost in their tournament to Xavier, 60-82, but have rebounded in the NCAA with wins over North Carolina State, 72-63 and then last game over Baylor, 85-76. The BlueJays have covered five of their last six games. Issue here is the points. Creighton laying 10-points to anyone in the Sweet 16 has to be a tall order. I'm not so sure Princeton can't win this game. Therefore, I'll take the points with Tigers.

The Houston Rockets are the worst team in the West at 18-55 and have been eliminated from the Playoffs. They have lost three straight and six of their last 10. They are coming off a loss at Memphis, 125-130, but covered the 12.5-point line. They do a bit better vs the spread, going 7-10 ATS their last 17 games. The Rockets are 5-13 ATS in their last 18 road games and 8-21 ATS in their last 29 road games vs a team with a winning record. The Grizzlies are 2nd in the West and have already secured a playoff spot. They are 45-27 and have won four straight and seven of their last 10 games. The Grizzlies are 42-19-2 ATS in their last 63 home games. Should be an easy win tonight for the Grizzlies. They didn't cover on Wednesday vs this same team, however I don't see Houston putting up the same effort tonight. Play Memphis.

Florida Atlantic has had a great season with a 33-3 record. The Owls won their conference tournament with a win over UAB, 78-56 and have won two straight in the NCAA over Memphis, 66-65 and last game over Fairleigh Dickinson, 78-70. That makes nine straight wins for the Owls and they are 6-3 ATS their last nine games. The Owls are 10-3-1 ATS their last 14 games vs a team with a win percentage above 60%. Tennessee is 25-10 overall on the season and has beat Lafayette, 58-55 and Duke, 65-52 in the NCAA tourney. The Volunteers are 5-4 S/U and 4-5 ATS their last nine games. Tennessee is just 2-7 ATS in its last nine NCAA games and 3-8 ATS in the last 11 games vs a team with a winning record. I like the dog here today plus the points. Take Florida Atlantic.

The Charlotte Hornets are only one of two teams, Detroit the other, that have been eliminated from the Eastern conference playoffs. The Magic are 23-50 on the season and coming off a win over Indiana, 115-109, as a 2-point dog. The Hornets are 3-7 S/U and 4-6 ATS in their last 10 games. They are just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. New Orleans is in 12th place in the West, but still battling for a playoff spot. They trail 10th place Lakers by just a half game. In fact, just 2.5 games separate eight teams in the West. The Pelicans have won and covered their last two games, including beating San Antonio last time out, 119-84. They are not 20-7-1 ATS their last 28 games vs a team with a win percentage below 40%. The Pelicans are 24-11-1 ATS their last 36 meetings with the Hornets. Pelicans need to beat teams like Charlotte if they hope to make the playoffs. Take New Orleans.

Michigan State has won two NCAA games, beating USC 72-63 and then last game over Marquette, 69-60. They are 5-3 S/U their last eight and 6-8 ATS their last 14 games. Michigan State is 4-6 both S/U and ATS on the road this year. They are also 5-4 S/U and ATS on neutral sites. Kansas State has wins in the NCAA over Montana State, 77-65 and then last game over Kentucky, 75-69. They are 6-2 S/U and ATS their last eight games. The Wildcats are 4-7 S/U and 5-6 ATS on the road and 6-1 S/U and 5-1-1 ATS on a neutral court this season. They are also 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games vs a team with a winning record. Western Conference action here tonight has Portland playing at Utah. The Trailblazers are 13th place and four-games back of that final playoff spot. The Blazers have lost six straight games and eight of their last 10 games. In addition, they are 0-4 ATS their last four games and 4-10 ATS their last 14 games. The Blazers are also 5-14 ATS in their last 19 road games. The Utah Jazz are holding onto that 10th and final playoff spot, just a half game ahead of both the Lakers and Pelicans. The Jazz are 4-1 S/U their last five games and 6-0 ATS their last six. They are also 3-1-1 ATS in their last five home games. I like the Jazz here tonight as they fight for that last playoff spot. NIT Tourney quarterfinals has Utah Valley taking on Cincinnati. Originally scheduled for a Cincy home game, the venue has moved to Utah Valley after scheduling conflicts for Cincinnati. Cincinnati has won two games in the NIT with wins over Virginia Tech, 81-72, and last game over Hofstra, 79-65. They have also covered both games. The Bearcats haven't been all that great on the road, evidenced by their 12-27-1 ATS mark their last 40 games vs a team with a winning home record. They are also 5-6 on the road and 2-3 in neutral site games this year. Utah Valley has also won two straight games in the NIT with a road win at New Mexico, 83-69, and then last game over Colorado, 81-69. The Wolverines are also 5-1 ATS in their last six home games. They have also covered 21 of their last 26 overall games. I'll take Utah Valley here on their home court tonight.

CBI Championship Game here early on Wednesday has Eastern Kentucky taking on NC Charlotte. Strange even for Eastern KY is that they are playing their 4th game in four nights. But that's not enough, they have played overtime in all three of their CBI games and double OT in last night's win over Southern Utah, 108-106. Wow, that's crazy. And then here they don't even play later in the evening, they play at 2pm PT, 5 pm ET. Charlotte has cruised through their CBI games, beating Western Carolina by nine points, Wisconsin Milwaukee by 11-points and then last night over Radford, 63-56, covering all three. In fact, Charlotte is 8-1-1 ATS over their last 10 games. I have to take Charlotte here tonight as I can't see Eastern having much left in the tank. Play Charlotte.

NBA Eastern Conference clash here tonight has the Cleveland Cavaliers taking on the Brooklyn Nets. The Cavaliers are 4th in the East with a 45-28 record. The Cavs are four games back of 3rd place Philly and seven back of first place Milwaukee. Cleveland has won seven of its last 10 overall games. They are also 6-4 ATS their last 10 games. They are also 5-2 ATS their last seven road games vs a team with a winning home record. Brooklyn is in 6th place in the East with a 39-32 record. The Nets look to snap a 3-game losing streak here tonight both S/U and ATS. The Nets are not a great home team, in fact they are just 19-14 S/U and 16-16-1 ATS on their home court. They have been a home dog nine times this year and are 2-7 S/U and 4-5 ATS. Tonight they are a home dog, but I'll be laying the small number with Cleveland.

NIT Quarterfinals here on Tuesday has North Texas visiting Oklahoma State. North Texas lost in the Conference USA tournament to UAB, 69-76, as a 1-point favorite. Then they opened NIT action with a home win over Alcorn State, 69-53 and then another win over Sam Houston, 75-55. They are 5-1 their last six games and 13-2 over their last 15 games. They are also 10-3 ATS their last 13 games. The Mean Green are also 21-6-3 ATS their last 30 away games vs a team with a home win percentage of 60% or better. Oklahoma State lost in the Big 12 tourney to Texas, 47-60, as a 6-point dog. Then they opened with wins in the NIT over Youngstown State, 69-54 and Eastern Washington, 71-60. They have not done well vs the spread though, evidenced by their 2-7-1 ATS mark their last 10 games. In addition, the Cowboys are only 1-5 ATS in their last six home games. These teams have met five times in recent years with the underdog holding a 3-1-1 ATS mark. I'll take the points with the road team here tonight. Play North Texas.

It's East vs West here tonight as the Eastern conference Ny Knicks host the West's Minnesota Timberwolves. Minnesota is in 9th place in the West, tied with 10th place Lakers and 11th place Utah. It is a traffic jam at the bottom of the NBA West with 3.5 game separating 5th place LA Clippers and 12th place NO Pelicans. The Timberwolves hope to snap a three-game losing streak here tonight. They are also 1-5 S/U their last six games and 2-4 ATS. The Wolves will be without center Karl-Anthony Towns who has a calf injury. Towns averages 20.8 ppg and 8.2 rebounds per game. The could also be without Anthony Edwards, who is questionable with an ankle injury. Edwards averages 24.7 ppg. That's a lot of firepower to replace if Edwards doesn't play. The Knicks are 5th in the East with a 39-32 record, 2.5-games back of fourth place Cleveland. The Knicks have won and covered their last three games after a 3-game losing skid. They are 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight games and 11-3-1 ATS in their last 15 overall games. The Knicks have covered five of the last six meetings with the Wolves in New York and four of the last five overall. I'll be on the Knicks tonight.

Eastern Conference action here today has 2nd place Philadelphia taking on 10th place Chicago. The Bulls are 1.5-games ahead of 11th place Indiana for that last place in the NBA East playoff picture. They are 1-game back of 9th place Toronto. The Bulls have won two straight and four of their last five games, covering four of those also. However, they are 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight road games and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games on 1 day of rest. Philly looks to extend its winning streak to nine games here tonight. They have also covered four in a row. The Sixers are 22-9 ATS their last 31 home games. They are also 8-1 their last nine meetings with the Bulls and 7-2 ATS their last nine in Philly. I'll lay the points here at home with Philadelphia.

NIT 2nd Round action late on Sunday has Utah Valley State taking on Colorado from Boulder. Utah Valley lost in the WAC tournament to Southern Utah, 88-89, as a 2.5-point favorite. They opened NIT 1st round action with a win over New Mexico, 83-69, as a 5.5-point dog. Utah Valley was 5-1 S/U to close out the season and 10-2. They wee also 9-2 ATS their last 11 games. The Wolverines were also 10-2 ATS their last 12 road games vs a team with a winning home record and 11-2 ATS overall their last 13 road games. Colorado lost in the 2nd round of the PAC-12 tourney to UCLA 69-80, as a 9-point dog. The Buffs had a bad run at the end of the season, going 3-4 S/U their last seven games. They were also 4-9 ATS their last 13 games vs a team with a win percentage of 60% or better. I'm taking the points with a very good covering Utah Valley team here today.

Western Conference clash here on Sunday has the LA Clippers taking on the Trailblazers from Portland. The Clippers are in 5th in the West with a 37-34 record. The Clippers are 10-games back of the Nuggets for 1st in the West. Looks more like they will need to fend off those behind them as seven teams are within 3.5 games of the Clippers. The Clippers had their four game win streak snapped last game vs Orlando, 108-113, as a 6.5-point favorite. That also made them 4-2 ATS their las six games. Portland is in 13th place in the West, 3-games back of 10th place Utah and 5.5 games back of the Clippers. The Blazers look to snap a five game losing streak here today. They are also 2-8 S/U their last 10 games. Portland is also 3-7 ATS their last 10 games. When playing on 1 day rest they are 6-19-1 ATS their last 26 times. They also haven't done well at home recently, going 2-8-1 ATS their last 11. The Clippers have covered nine of the last 11 in this series and I look for that again here on Sunday. Play the Clippers.

NIT 2nd Round action this evening has Central Florida playing at Oregon. Central Florida opened NIT action with a road win at Florida, 67-49, as a 2.5-point dog. That makes the Golden Knights 3-1 ATS their last four games. The Knights are 5-1 ATS in their last six games away from home. They are also 12-5-1 ATS in their last 18 games following a straight-up win. Oregon lost in the PAC-12 Conference tourney 2nd round to UCLA, 56-75, as a 6.5-point dog. The Ducks opened NIT action with a home win over UC Irvine, 84-58, as a 5.5-point favorite. The Ducks are just 3-6 ATS their last nine games. They are also 2-15 ATS their last 17 games following a straight-up win of more than 20 points. I like Central Florida plus the points here this evening.

The Phoenix Suns were one of the favorites this year in the Western Conference. However, they have underperformed at just 38-32 overall and 15-20 on the road. The Suns are in 4th in the West, 8.5-games back of the Nuggets. The Suns snapped a 3-game losing streak last time out with a win over Orlando, 116-113, but failed to cover the 8-point line. That makes four straight losses vs the number. The Thunder are 9th in the West at 34-36 and hold a slim edge over 11th place Lakers who are just a half game back. In fact, it's very tight for those final playoff spots with just 2.5 games separating 6th place Dallas from 11th place New Orleans. The Thunder had their three-game win streak snapped last game at Toronto, 111-128, as a 6.5-point dog. Still, the Thunder are 6-2 S/U and ATS their last eight games. They are also 17-7 ATS their last 24 games when having 2-days rest. The Suns are just 1-4 ATS in their last five trips to Oklahoma City. I'm taking the Thunder in today's game. Play Oklahoma City.

NCAA 2nd Round action has Kentucky taking on Kansas State. Kentucky lost in the opening round of the SEC tournament to Vanderbilt, 73-80, as a 7-point favorite. The Wildcats did get an at large bid to the NCAA and won their first round game over Providence, 61-53 as a 4-point favorite. Kentucky has not done well of late on neutral courts, evidenced by their 3-13 ATS mark the last 16 times. Kansas State lost its opening round Big 12 game vs TCU, 67-80, as a 2-point dog. They are also at at large bid here in the NCAA. They won their round one game over Montana State, 77-65, as a 7.5-point favorite. K State is 15-5 S/U in their last 20 games vs a team with a winning record. They have also covered five of their last seven games. Should be a good matchup here today, but I'll be on Kansas State in this one.

 NCAA 2nd Round action here today from Greensboro, NC as Pittsburgh takes on Xavier. Pitt lost in the ACC 2nd round tournament to Duke, 69-96 and got the play-in game for the NCAA tournament. They beat Mississippi State on Tuesday 60-59, as a 2.5-point dog and then beat Iowa State in the first round, 59-41, as a 4-point dog. That make Pitt 3-1 S/U and ATs their last four games. The Panthers are now 23-7 ATS their last 30 games overall. They are also 3-1-1 ATS in their last five neutral site games. Xavier lost in the Big East tournament to Marquette, 51-65, as a 2-point dog. They opened NCAA tourney play with a first round win over Kennesaw State, 72-67, as a 12-point favorite. Xavier is 6-1 S/U the last seven games but only 1-4 ATS their last five. I like the points here today. Take Pittsburgh.

The Washington Wizards can ill afford to keep losing if they hope to make the Eastern Conference Playoffs. The Wizards are 32-38 and 1.5-games back of 10th place Chicago. The Wizards have been slumping too. They are coming off a loss to the Cavaliers, 94-117, as a 4.5-point dog. That makes them 2-6 S/U and ATS in their last eight games. The Sacramento Kings are in 2nd place in the West with a 42-27 record. They have won two straight and eight of their last 10 games. They are also the only Western Conference team that has a better than .500 mark on the road as they sit 21-13 on the season. They play their third game on this Eastern road swing today. They have already won at Chicago (117-114) and at Brooklyn (101-96). The Kings have covered five of the last seven in this series. I look for that trend to continue here today. Play Sacramento.

Penn State lost in the Big 10 Tourney final to Purdue, 65-67, but still covered the 7.5-point dog line. In fact, the Nittany Lions have covered five straight tournament games and have won six of their last seven straight up. They take on a Texas team that won the Big 12 tournament with a win over Kansas, 76-56, as a 2-point dog. Then they opened NCAA play with a win over Colgate, 81-61, as a 12.5-point favorite. That makes Texas 5-0 S/U and ATS their last five games. The Lions are 21-8-1 ATS their last 30 games vs a team with a winning % above 60%. They are also 33-14-4 ATS their last 51 games on a neutral site. Texas has not done well in the NCAA's, going 2-11 ATS their last 13 NCAA tournament games. 2nd Round NCAA clash here on Saturday has 9th seeded Auburn taking on top seed Houston. The Sweet 16 berth goes to the victory here today. Auburn got here by beating Iowa in round one, 83-75. Houston struggled to their win over 16th seeded Northern Kentucky, 63-52, as a 19.5-point favorite. Marcus Sasser, the team's leading scorer, was re-injured in their win over Northern Kentucky. Sasser was injured against Cincinnati and missed the AAC title game before returning in the first round of the NCAA. His status was updated to probable today, but have wonder how effective he will be after re-injuring himself in the last game and possibly doing more damage. A lot depends on the injured Cougars Sasser and even Shead, though both are listed as probable. This Auburn team is a much better offensive club than N.Kentucky. I'll take the points here with Auburn.

Ivy League Champion Princeton shocked Arizona in the NCAA 1st Round with a 59-55 win as a 15-point dog. That was the team's 5th straight win and cover. Princeton is now 4-1 S/U and 3-2 ATS on neutral site courts. They do well vs good teams, covering the last five vs a team with a winning record. Missouri lost to Alabama in the SEC 2nd round, 61-72, as a 9.5-point dog. They got an at large bid to the NCAA and opened with a win over Utah State, 76-65, as a 1.5-point dog. They are just 4-5 ATS their last nine games. They are also 1-6 ATS in their last seven NCAA tournament games. I'll take the points here with Princeton.

NIT action here today moves the venue from Cincinnati to Hofstra. Cincinnati is having their home floor torn up so the site had to be moved. That's important in these close NIT matchups as now Hofstra get the home advantage. Cincinnati won it's initial game at home over Virginia Tech, 81-72, as a 5-point favorite. That makes the Bearcats 3-2 S/U and 4-1 ATS their last five games. Cincinnati is just 15-31-1 ATS their last 47 games vs a team with a winning percentage above 60%. Hofstra won it's opening NIT game at home over Rutgers in OT, 88-86, as a 5-point dog. That makes the Pride 13-1 S/U their last 14 games. Today, they get a point or there about. But with the venue change I'll take the Price here at home. Play Hofstra.

 Kent State won the MAC Tournament Championship with a win over Toledo, 93-78, as a 1-point dog. That made three wins and covers in their tournament. They have also won 10 of their last 11 games. In addition, they are 4-0 ATS their last four and 8-3 ATS their last 11 games. The Golden Flashes are 35-15-2 ATS their last 51 overall games and 4-0 ATS in their last four neutral site games. Indiana lost in the second round of the Big 10 conference tournament to Penn State, 73-77, as a 3.5-point favorite. The Hoosiers were 4-4 S/U and 2-6 ATS their last eight games. Kent State looks very good to bettors while Indiana has struggled. Yet we get around 4.5-points here today with Kent State. I look for a straight-up Kent State win.

Drake Bulldogs won the Missouri Valley Conference tournament with a resounding win over Bradley, 77-51, as a 1.5-point favorite. They won all three of their tourney games both S/U and ATS. That made the Bulldogs 13-1 S/U their last 14 games and 8-1 ATS their last nine games. The Bulldogs are also 5-0-1 ATS in their last six on a neutral court. Miami Florida lost in the second round of the ACC tournament to Duke, 78-85, as a 3-point dog. That made Miami 2-2 their last four games and 0-4 ATS. Both these teams were very good during the season. However, Drake getting a few points is what I like here today since I expect them to win this game outright. Play Drake.

Eastern Conference matchup here on Friday has Washington taking on Cleveland. The Wizards are holding onto that last spot in the playoffs, with two other teams just a half game behind them. Meanwhile, Cleveland is in 4th in the East, four games back of third place Philly. The Wizards snapped a three game losing streak last game with a win over Detroit, 117-97, as a 13.5-point favorite. Still, the club is 2-5 S/U and ATS their last seven games. Cleveland looks to rebound from their loss to Philly last time out, 109-118, as a 2.5-point dog. The Cavs led many times during that game but couldn't stick with them in the 4th quarter. Still, Cleveland is 5-2 S/U and 3-4 ATS their last seven games. The Cavs have been very good at home, going 28-8 S/U and 23-13 ATS and outscoring their visitors by 8.7 ppg. I like Cleveland to rebound here at home tonight. They could have won that game vs Philly and are too good a home team to drop another here tonight. Play Cleveland.

 NCAA first round action continues here on Friday as VCU takes on St Mary's. VCU won their conference tournament with a win over Dayton in the Championship game, 68-56, as a 2-point favorite. That made nine straight wins and 17 of the last 19. They also covered all three conference tourney games and are 7-1 ATS their last eight games. The Rams are also 16-5 ATS their last 21 NCAA Tournament games. St Mary's lost to Gonzaga in the quarterfinals of their conference tournament, 51-77, as a 2-point dog. That made the Gael's 1-2 their final three games and 3-7-1 ATS their last 11 games. VCU is a very hot team and coming off a conference tournament championship while St Mary's coming off a blowout loss. I'll take VCU here on Friday.

The Orlando Magic are 4-games back of the last playoff spot in the NBA Eastern Conference. They have lost six of their last 10 games. The Magic are coming off a loss at San Antonio, 114-132, as a 5-point favorite. They are 2-5 S/U and ATS their last seven games. Phoenix is 4th in the Western Conference with a 37-32 record. The Suns look to snap a three-game s/u and spread losing streak here tonight. They are coming off a loss to Milwaukee, 104-116, as a 1.5-point dog. The Suns are 22-12 S/U and 19-15 ATS at home this season. While the Suns have underperformed at times this year, I look for them to have little trouble tonight against this Orlando squad. Oral Roberts won the Summit League Tournament with a resounding win over North Dakota State, 92-58, as a 10.5-point favorite. ORU finished the season on a great run, winning 17 straight games. They were 7-9-1 ATS the last 17. Tonight, they are a dog to Duke, so don't need to worry about covering any favorite line. Duke won the ACC tournament with a win over Virginia, 59-49. NCAA Tourney action here on Thursday has College of Charleston taking on the Mountain West Champion, San Diego State. Charleston won it's conference tourney championship with a win over UNC Wilmington, 63-58, as a 9.5-point favorite. That was the team's 10th win in a row and they were also 6-4 ATS their last 10. San Diego State won the Mountain West Conference Tournament with three straight wins including the final over Utah State, 62-57, as a 1.5-point favorite. That was the Aztecs 10th win in their last 11 games. They are also 4-4 ATS their last eight games. The one issue with SDG State is that they don't score a lot of points. They have not broken past 67 points in their last five games. Moreover, they have to lay around 5-points here today. They do play excellent defense, but I don't see them covering this spread here today. Play Charleston.

Early NCAA Tourney action here on Thursday has Furman taking on Virginia. Furman got ousted in their Southern Conference tournament by Chattanooga, 63-75, as a 3-point favorite. That made them 5-1 S/U the last six games and 13-2 S/U their last 15 games. In addition, they were 10-5 ATS their last 15 games. Virginia lost in the ACC tourney to Duke, 59-59, as a 3-point dog. They were 4-3 S/U the last seven games and 3-6 ATS their last nine games. The Cavaliers are also 3-8 ATS in their last 11 NCAA tournament games. I like the dog here in this one. Take Furman.

 West Virginia bowed out of it's Conference Tourney with a second round loss to Kansas, 61-78, as a 3.5-point dog. The Mountaineers were 3-1 S/U and 5-1 ATS down the stretch. They are also 6-2 ATS their last eight games following a straight-up loss. The Mountaineers are also 5-1 ATS their last six games vs a team with a winning record. Maryland also lasted only two rounds of their conference tournament, losing to Indiana, 60-70 as a 1-point dog. The Terapins were 1-3 S/U and 2-2 ATS down the stretch. The Terps are only 3-8 ATS in their last 11 NCAA Tournament games. I'll take West Virginia here early on Thursday.

Late NIT action here on Wednesday has Utah Valley taking on New Mexico from The Pit. Utah Valley lost in the WAC tournament to Southern Utah, 88-89, as a 2.5-point favorite. They finished the season on a 4-1 and 9-2 S/U runs. They also did well vs the number, going 8-2 ATS their last 10 games. The Wolverines are also 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games away from home and 13-3 ATS their last 16 games vs a team with a winning record. The Wolverines have just been very good to bettors, going 20-6 ATS over their last 26 games. New Mexico looked like a shoe-in for a NCAA berth about half way through the season. Virginia Tech made an early exit in their ACC conference tournament, losing to North Carolina State 77-97 as a 3- point dog. That made the Hokies 3-3 over their last six games and 2-4 ATS. They are just 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 road games. Cincinnati lost it's 2nd round conference tourney game to Houston, 48-69, as a 10-point dog. That made them 4-2 S/U and ATS their final six games. The Bearcats are 11-0 ATS their last 11 games following a spread loss. They are also 19-8 ATS their last 27 games overall and 16-5 ATS their last 21 home games. This is a home game for Cincinnati and look for them to win this one going away. Play Cincinnati.

Two of the best of the East meet here today as 3rd place Philadelphia (45-22) takes on 4th place Cleveland (44-27). The Sixers hold a 3-game lead on the Cavs. The Sixers have a five game winning streak going and are 4-3 ATS their last seven games. The Cavs have won two straight and five of their last six games. They have been very good at home, going 28-7 S/U and 23-12 ATS. They have also outscored their visitors by a 113.7 to 104.6 ppg average. They are also 19-6-1 ATS their last 26 home games vs a team with a winning road record. The Cavs are 4-1-1 ATS the last six meetings in Cleveland and 3-1-1 the last five overall vs Philly. NCAA Play-In game here tonight has Mississippi State taking on Pitt. Mississippi State got knocked out of the SEC tournament by Alabama in a lopsided loss, 49-72. The Bulldogs were 4-4 S/U in their last eight games and 0-4 ATS in their last four. The dogs are also 0-4-1 ATS in their last five neutral site games. Pitt lost to Duke in the ACC tournament, 69-96. The Panthers were 1-3 S/U down the stretch but 3-2 vs the number. The Panthers are 21-7 ATS in their last 28 overall games. The Brooklyn Nets sit 6th in the Eastern Conference as they bring a 2-game win streak into today's contest. They have also won five of their last six and covered six straight but are just 5-5 their last 10 games. The OKC Thunder are 5-5 also their last 10 games and are in 10th place in the West. They score the fourth most points per game at 117.8 ppg. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been great for the Thunder, averaging 31.2 ppg on the season. Though he has an abdominal injury, he is listed as probable for today's contest. The Nets traded away Durant and Irving before the All-Star game and while they have been winning, I don't think this team is nearly as good without those star players.  It's the MAC against the Big 10 here in NIT opening round action on Tuesday. Toledo lost their championship game in the MAC to Kent State, 78-93, as a 1-point favorite. That cost the Rockets a trip to the NCAA as they settle for the NIT. Still, the Rockets were hot to finish the season with a 17-1 S/U run and 9-3 ATS run. Michigan was 17-15 on the season and finished with a three-game losing streak. That made them 3-5 S/U and 5-3 ATS their last eight games. Michigan was just 3-7 S/U and 5-5 ATS away from home this season. They were 2-4 on a neutral court. Unless Toledo has a letdown not going to the NCAA tournament, I look for them to win and cover this game. Play Toledo.

Two of the top six teams in the Western Conference meet here tonight as the Golden State Warriors host Phoenix. The Sun are 4th in the West with a 37-20 record and 8.5-games back of first place Denver. The Suns had their four game win and cover streak snapped last game at home in a loss to the Sacramento Kings, 119-128, as a 4-point favorite. One knock against the Suns is that they have a losing road record at 15-19. The Warriors are in 6th place with a 35-33 record. They are 2.5 games back of the Suns. It's been night and day for the Warriors at home and the road. They are 28-7 S/U and 24-11 ATS at home while they are 7-26 and 9-24 on the road. In addition, they are 38-16-1 ATS in their last 55 home games. The Warriors have covered four of the last five in this series. I'll take Golden State at home tonight.

The Memphis Grizzlies are in third place in the Western Conference with their 40-26 record. They have won three straight and eight of the last 10 games. A big blow to the club is the loss of Ja Morant, who is out indefinitely with a suspension. The Grizzlies have won two straight games, including the first of this back-to-back spot against the Mavericks, 112-108 as a 4.5-point road chalk. Now they have to play the Mavericks in that second of a back-to-back spot. The Grizzlies have struggled on the road where they are 3-9 ATS their last 12, 12-21 S/U and 11-20-2 ATS on the season. The Mavs will also be without a key player today in guard Luka Doncic who will miss tonight's contest with a thigh injury. Dallas is just 2-5 S/U and ATS their last seven games. The Mavs are in 8th place in the West at 34-34. The Mavs have covered the last five in this series and four of the last five in Dallas. Both teams missing key cogs, but I'll take the Mavericks tonight.

 Western Conference action here on Sunday has 11th place Oklahoma City taking on next to last San Antonio. The Spurs have officially been eliminated from the playoff picture with their 17-49 record. The Spurs coming off a win at home over Denver, 128-120, as a 13-point dog. That was their third win in their last five games. However, wins have been few and far between. Even covers are tough to come by, evidenced by their 4-16 ATS mark their last 20 games. Oklahoma City is tied with New Orleans at 32-35 for 11th in the West, just a half game back of 10th place Utah. The Thunder can't let games like this slip through as they should win these games to help their playoff position. The Thunder are coming off a win at New Orleans, 110-96, as a 2-point favorite. That makes four wins in the last five games both S/U and ATS. The Thunder are 45-22-3 ATS their last 70 road games. The Thunder are also 3-0-1 ATS the last four vs the Spurs. I'll take the Thunder here on Sunday.

Two teams on the outside of the Eastern Conference playoff picture meet tonight as Indiana travels to Detroit to take on the Pistons. Indiana is just 1-game back of that last playoff spot, currently occupied by Washington. Detroit, well they are in last place with just a 15-52 record. If the Pacers hope to climb into the playoff picture they need wins over teams like the Pistons here tonight. The Pacers are 4-2 S/U their last six games and 6-2 ATS their last eight games. Meanwhile, Detroit has lost 10 straight games while going 5-5 ATS during that span. They are also 5-11 ATS their last 16 games playing on 1-day rest. Indiana has to beat these teams if they want to make the playoffs. I'll take the Pacers here tonight.

Big East Championship game from New York, NY here today has Xavier taking on Marquette. Both teams should get into the NCAA tournament, regardless of the outcome here today. Still, a better seed will go to the victor. Xavier won its second game of this tournament last night with a win over Creighton, 82-60, as a 3.5-point dog. Creighton had a excellent season so this dominant win by Xavier really sent a statement. That made five straight wins for the Musketeers. They have also covered five of their last eight games. They are also 14-3-1 ATS in their last 18 games vs a team with a win percentage of 60% or more. Marquette has had a much rougher go in the tourney. They were forced to OT in their opener vs St Johns, 72-70, failing to cover the 6.5 point line. Marquette has won eight straight games and 13 of their last 14 games. Though they have gone just 4-6 ATS their last 10 game. I'm taking Xavier here today as they have shown a lot more so far in this tournament.

Southeastern Conference Semifinals today from Nashville has Vandy taking on Texas A&M. Vandy with some local fan base in this game today. Vandy won its second game in this tournament last night with a win over Kentucky, 80-73, as a 7-point dog. That coming after taking care of LSU in their opening game, 77-68. That makes five straight wins and 10 of the last 11. They have also covered five straight and nine of their last 10. The Commodores are also 10-1 ATS in their last 11 neutral site games. Texas A&M won it's opener in this tourney last night with a win over Arkansas, 67-61, as a 1-point favorite. That make three wins in a row and nine wins in their last 10 games. Big 10 Semifinal action from Chicago has Ohio State taking on Purdue for the right to go to tomorrow's Championship game. Ohio State has won three straight tourney games over Wisconsin, Iowa and then last night over Michigan State, 68-58, as a 3.5-point dog. That makes five wins in their last six games for the Buckeyes. They have also covered six straight games. Purdue played its first game in the tourney last night with a win over Rutgers, 70-65, as a 5.5-point favorite. The Boilermakers have covered just one time in their last seven games. Buckeyes have peaked at the right time and that momentum should carry over to today's contest. Very late action here on Friday that looks to even carry over on Saturday in the Mountain West Conference Tourney as Utah State takes on Boise State. The Utah State Aggies opened tourney play last night with a convincing win over New Mexico, 91-76, as a 3-point favorite. That makes the Aggies 6-0 S/U and ATS their last six games. That included a win over this Boise State team last Saturday, 86-73, as a 4.5-point favorite. The Aggies have also done well on a neutral court, going 6-1 ATS their last seven tries. Boise State had to go to Overtime last night to take care of UNLV, 87-76, as a 4-point favorite. The Broncos extra play could make them a bit tired as they come back vs a very good Utah State team tonight. Boise is just 2-2 S/U their last four games. They are also 2-7-1 ATS their last 10 games. I like Utah State again here tonight.

West vs East here tonight as the West's Portland Trailblazers take on the East's Philadelphia 76ers. Portland still on the outside looking in as far as the playoff picture. The Blazers are 13th right now, one game back of 10th place New Orleans. The Blazers had their two-game win streak snapped last game at Boston, 93-155, as a 9.5-point dog. That makes them 2-4 S/U and ATS their last six games. In addition, they are 4-9-1 ATS their last 14 games overall and 4-13 ATS their last 17 road games. Meanwhile, Philly is in 3rd place in the East with a 43-22 record. They are two games back of Boston for 2nd and 4.5 back of 1st place Milwaukee. In addition they are 22-8 ATS in their last 30 road games vs a team with a winning home record. Sacramento is 2nd in the West with a 38-26 record. Big East Conference action here on Thursday has Depaul taking on Xavier in this Quarterfinal matchup from New York. Depaul pulled the upset in their opening tourney game last night with their win over Seton Hall, 66-65 as a 5.5-point dog. That win actually snapped a 12-game losing streak by Depaul. They are also 3-10 ATS their last 13 games. In addition, the Blue Demons are just 8-24 ATS in their last 32 games on a neutral site. While Depaul has to play in a back-to-back spot here tonight, Xavier has had four days of rest to prepare for the tourney. The Musketeers finished the regular season with a 3-game winning streak. They are also 4-2 ATS their last six games. Xavier played Depaul back on Feb 18th and won 82-68, covering the 13.5-point favorite line. NCU has been a very good neutral site team, going 8-3-1 ATS their last 12 times. Virginia plays its opening game of this tournament tonight. The Cavs finished their regular season with two wins and 6-2 over their last eight games. They were also 1-5 ATS their last six games. They are also 1-6-1 ATS their last eight games away from home. Big 12 Conference tourney action here in the afternoon has West Virginia taking on Kansas from Kansas City, MO. West Virginia finished the season on a hot streak, winning its last three and four of five. In addition, the Mountaineers have covered five straight games including their meeting with Kansas on Feb 25. In that game the Mountaineers stayed with Kansas the entire way, losing a close game by 74-76 as a 9.5-point road dog. WVU is also 5-2 ATS in their last seven neutral site games. Kansas opens their Big 12 tourney play coming of their regular season finale loss to Texas, 59-75 as a 3-point dog. The Jayhawks had their seven game win streak broke in that game. They have lost three straight to the spread though. The Jayhawks are 1-4 ATS in their last five neutral site games. I'm taking West Virginia just like I did when these teams met last.  Big Sky Conference Championship Game here on Wednesday has the winner of Northern Arizona and Montana State getting the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament next week. Montana State looks the prohibitive favorite here as they have 22 wins on the season compared to just nine wins by NAU. However, it's tournament time and anything can happen and usually does. Northern Arizona has peaked, winning three straight in this tournament over Idaho, Eastern Washington and then last night over Montana, 83-71, as a 5.5-point favorite. In fact, they have scored at least 80 points in all three tourney games and in their last five overall games. They have won five of their last six games both S/U and ATS. Montana State brings a seven game win streak into today's contest. They are just 3-5 ATS though in their last eight games.They have wins in this tourney over Northern Colorado (84-73) and last night over Weber State (60-58) in OT. That OT game couple with playing last night might have these guys a bit tired. Plus NAU is scoring lots of points these days. I'll take the dog in this one. Play Northern Arizona.

Patriot League Championship Game tonight has conference powerhouse Colgate taking on Cinderella La Lafayette. Lafayette broke its four game losing streak with a pair of wins in the tourney, including Lehigh and then American. They have covered three of their last four games. However, the Leopards are just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games away from home. What all can you say about Colgate. The Raiders have won 11 games in row and are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games. They have been double digit favorites in five of their last seven games. Colgate won the last matchup with Lafayette back on Feb 22 at Lafayette, 73-69 as a 9-point favorite. I don't see this one being as close though as Colgate wins this one in a blowout.

Mountain West Action here on Wednesday has Air Force playing at UNLV. Air Force finished its regular season losing three straight game and going 1-2 ATS. One of those losses came at UNLV on Feb 24th, 53-54, in what was a close game all the way. The Falcons are now 8-3 ATS in their last 11 road games. Meanwhile, UNLV struggled for most of the 2nd half of the season. They lost four of their last six games both S/U and ATS. They did win their season finale vs their rivals from up North, Nevada, 69-67. Rebels are at home here as usual in this tournament. They are just 0-4 ATS in their last four home games though. Should be another close game and if Air Force can keep the score lower, they will cover. Play Air Force.

Dixie State is now known as Utah Tech and they play Stephen F Austin in the first round of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament here tonight. The Tech Trailblazers finished the regular season on a 1-5 S/U and ATS run. That included their last game at home vs Grand Canyon in which they lost, 61-71, as a 1-point dog. They are also 3-5 ATS in their last eight games. Stephen F Austin finished their season with a blowout loss to Utah Valley State, 69-113, as a 8-point dog. They will finished 4-3 S/U and ATS their last seven games. Utah Tech was only 5-13 in conference play this year and next to last in the conference. Austin was 11-7 and a decent team. I'll take Austin here tonight in what looks like a lopsided win.

 Metro Atlantic Conference First round action here today from Atlantic City, NJ. St Peters finished the regular season with a win over Siena, 73-72 in OT as a 4.5 point home dog. They were 2-4 S/U and ATS their last six games. The Peacocks are 0-11 ATS in their last 11 games following an ATS win. Fairfield ended the regular season with a win over Quinnipiac, 92-82, as a 2.5-point dog. That made them 3-3 S/U and 2-4 ATS in their last six games. Fairfield has done well on the road of late, covering six of their last nine away games. The Stags are 4-1 ATS in their last five neutral site games. I'll take the Stags here tonight. Western Athletic Conference Tourney 1st Round action here tonight from Las Vegas has Abilene Christian taking on Cal Baptist. Christian finished their regular season losing five straight games both S/U and ATS. In fact, their last win was over this Cal Baptist team back on Feb 4th, 87-71, as a 5-point road dog. Cal Baptist finished winning their last two games both S/U and ATS. Christian is 0-4 ATS in their last four neutral site games. Neither team likely going far in this tournament, but here today I'll take Cal Baptist.

ACC action here on Tuesday has Georgia Tech taking on Florida State. Georgia Tech finished the regular season with a three-game win streak. They have also covered eight straight games after a six game losing spread run. Tech had a rough start to their ACC conference play, going 1-11 S/U and 2-9 ATS. However, they have heated up at the right time as they enter tourney play. It's been a bad season for Florida State with their 9-22 record and 12-19 spread mark. They finished the regular season losing six of their last seven games. The Seminoles also finished 1-8 ATS their last nine games. Florida State took the one regular season game with Tech back on Jan 7th at home, 75-64, as a 2.5-point favorite. However, that was when Tech was playing poorly. Horizon league Semifinals has Cleveland State taking on Wisconsin Milwaukee here tonight. Cleveland State is 19-11 overall and plays their first tourney game here tonight. They finished the regular season winning six of their last seven games. Their only loss in those seven came to this Milwaukee team, 72-81, as a 1.5-point road favorite. The Vikings have failed to cover their last four games and are just 2-8 ATS their last 10 games. Milwaukee plays its first tourney game tonight. They finished the regular season winning three straight games and five of their last seven games. They also covered their last two games. This game should be close and come down to the end. However, Milwaukee is the better covering team and they are getting some points here tonight. I'll take the dog in this one. Play Wisc Milwaukee.

West Coast Conference Semifinals from Las Vegas on Monday has BYU taking on St Mary's. BYU got Sunday off after beating Portland on Friday, 82-71, and then Loyola Marymount on Saturday, 73-63. The Cougars have covered four straight games and eight of their last 10 games. St Mary's plays their first game in this conference tournament here on Monday. They haven't played since Feb 25th, so there may be some rust in the machine in this game. The Gael's have covered just one of their last five away games. This will be the third meeting this year between these teams. BYU lost at home to the Gael's back on Jan 28 and then lost again on Feb 18th at St Mary's, 65-71. It's tough to beat a decent team three times in a year. Fortunately we can take the points here today with the Cougars. Play BYU.

Colonial Tournament Semifinals have North Carolina Wilmington taking on Hofstra at Washington, DC. Wilmington opened this tourney on Sunday with a win over Drexel, 73-68, as a 2-point favorite. That cover was just their first in the last five games and 4th in their last 14 games. Hofstra had little issues with William & Mary on Sunday, winning 94-46 as a 14.5-point favorite. That was the teams 2nd cover in a row and they are now 11-1 AT in their last 12 games. They have also won 12 games in a row S/u. Hofstra has been a red-hot team and it has carried over to the tourney too. I'll take Hofstra here today.

Two teams both out of the playoff picture in their respective conferences meet today. The West's Portland Trailblazers are in 12th place, 1.5-games back of 10th place New Orleans. Portland has lost three straight games and seven of their last 10 games. The Blazers are also 1-5 ATS their last six games. In addition, they are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 road games. The Orlando Magic are 13th in the East with a 27-37 record, 3.5 games back of 10th place Washington. The Magic are coming off a win at Charlotte, 117-106, as a 4-point favorite. They are 2-1 S/U and ATS their last three games. The Magic had yesterday off and have done well on 1-day of rest, going 20-7 ATS their last 27 in that spot. American Athletic Conference matchup here today has South Florida taking on Wichita State. South Florida is 7-10 and tied for 7th in the standings while Wichita State is 6th at 8-9. The South Florida Bulls are 14-16 overall and not looking to go any postseason tourney. The Bulls have done well down the stretch, winning three straight and four of the last five. They are also 3-2 ATS their last five. The Wichita State Shockers are 15-14 overall and also looking bleak at a postseason tourney. They are coming off a loss at Houston, 66-83, covering the 17.5-point line. They are 3-2 S/U and ATS their last five games. The Milwaukee Bucks have taken over 1st place in the Eastern Conference by one game over the Celtics. The Bucks have been red hot, winning 16 straight games. They are also 10-3-1 ATS their last 14 games. Philadelphia is 3rd in the Eastern Conference with a 40-22 record, 5-games back of the Bucks. The Sixers are coming off a loss at Dallas on Thursday, 126-133, as a 3-point dog. The Sixers are now 1-3 S/U and ATS in their last four games. Milwaukee is 5-2 ATS in the last five meetings with Philly and 4-1 the last five at Milwaukee. I'll take the red-hot Bucks here on Saturday.

Pretty rare to find teams playing non-conference games this late in the regular season, but that's what we have here today as Chicago State visits Fresno. The Chicago State Cougars are 11-19 overall on the season. They are coming off a loss at Gonzaga last Wednesday, 65-104, as a 28-point dog. That actually snapped a three game win streak for the Cougars. They are also 16-10 vs the spread this year and 6-2 the last eight games with lines. The Fresno State Bulldogs are 10-19 and really have to win the Mountain West Tournament to make the NCAA. This game has no bearing on any postseason aspirations for the Dogs, in fact it really hurt them with a team they should beat easily on the schedule this late. Fresno is just 1-5 S/U and 2-4 ATS in their last six games. They are also 10-18 ATS overall on the season. No real motivation for Fresno here, but Chicago State would love to pull the big upset. Take Chicago State.

SEC action here today has 3rd place Tennessee (11-6 in conference) taking on 7th place Auburn (9-8). Tennessee is 22-8 overall and has a two-game win streak coming into this game. The Volunteers are 3-4 S/U their last seven and 3-6 ATS their last nine games. In addition, the Vols are 4-5 S/U and 3-6 ATS on the road this year. Auburn needs wins. The Tigers are 19-11 overall and need quality wins to help them come NCAA tournament time. The Tigers are just 2-6 S/U and ATS in their last eight games. They have been good at home with a 13-2 S/U record. With the line sitting around Auburn -1 we need little more than a straight-up win here today with Auburn. I'll take Auburn here today.

Early Saturday SEC action has Texas A&M hosting Alabama. Alabama looks to have the conference locked-up as they sit 16-1 in the SEC, 2-games ahead of Texas A&M. A&M is 22-8 overall and while they look to make the NCAA easily, a win here today would definitely pad the tourney resume. Alabama is 26-4 overall and needed an OT to beat Auburn in their last game, 90-85, failing to cover the 10-point line. While the Crimson Tide have won four straight and eight of the last nine, they have covered just one of their last five games. A&M is coming off a win over Ole Miss, 69-61, covering the 5-point line. They are now 7-1 S/U and ATS in their last eight games. In addition they are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games. Basically all we need is a straight-up win here today with the Aggies. I'll take Texas A&M on their home court and lots of motivation to win this game.

Eastern Conference battle here on Friday has 5th place NY Knicks taking on the 7th place Miami Heat. The Knicks are 37-27 overall and have won seven straight games both S/U and ATS. That includes last game on Wednesday over Brooklyn, 142-118, as a 7.5-point favorite. The Knicks have been good on the road, going 18-12 S/U and 19-10-1 ATS (65%). The Miami Heat could be without start Jimmy Butler who is nursing a knee injury. Butler is listed as questionable. The Heat are 33-30 overall and have lost five of their las six games both S/U and ATS. That includes Wednesday's loss at home to Philly, 96-119. With or without Butler tonight I like the red-hot Knicks here in this one.

Utah Valley sits atop the Western Athletic Conference standings with a 14-3 record and 23-7 overall mark. Stephen Austin comes in tied for their with Southern Utah at 11-6 and 19-11 overall. Austin had their 2-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday by Sam Houston, 59-64, as a 1.5-point dog. They are 4-3 ATS over their last seven games. They have done well for bettors on the road, going 7-2-1 ATS in their nine 10 away games. Utah Valley rebounded from their loss at Abilene Christian with a win over Texas Arlington on Wednesday, 79-59, as a 13.5-point favorite. I think this game will be tighter than what the odds may reflect at this point. I'll take the points with Stephen Austin.

Reason: UC Davis, UC Riverside and UC Santa Barbara are in a 3-way tie at 13-5 for the Big West Conference lead. UC Davis is 6th right now with a 10-7 record. The Santa Barbara Gauchos are 22-7 overall and have won two straight games. They are coming off a win at Cal San Diego, 87-71, as a 5.5-point favorite. Still, that makes them just 2-3 both S/U and ATS the last five games. The Cal Davis Aggies are 17-12 overall and have won two straight games including last time out at Cal Poly, 58-52, as a 6-point favorite. Santa Barbara averages just 68.1 ppg on the road while UC Davis averages 78.2 ppg at home. The home team is 5-2 ATS the last seven in this series. I'll take the home dog here tonight. Play UC Davis.

The Indiana Pacers need to win games like today if they hope to make the playoffs. Right now the Pacers are 28-35 and 2-games back of the Washington Wizards for that last playoff spot. As for the Spurs, well they might as well begin making postseason plans for a vacation because they aren't going anywhere. They are 15-47 and only Houston has a worse record. The Spurs snapped a three game losing streak with a win at Utah their last game, 102-94, as a 9.5-point dog. That was only their second win in their last 16 games. That also includes covering spreads, just 2-16 their last 18 games. The Spurs have had a day off, they are 1-9 ATS the last 10 times in that spot. The Pacers have won two straight and three of their last four games. They have also covered four straight games. Indian is 6-0 ATS in their last six trips to San Antonio. Horizon League Tourney begins play tonight as Wright State takes on Wisconsin Milwaukee. Milwaukee finished 2nd in the regular season in the conference with a 14-6 record and 20-10 overall mark. Wright State was 6th with a 10-10 conference mark and 18-14 overall record. Wright State Raiders have won two straight games both S/U and ATS, snapping a three-game losing streak. Milwaukee Panthers have won two straight games. The Panthers are 14-3 S/U and 8-5-1 ATS at home this season. These teams met back on Jan 26th with Wright winning at home, 93-86. The dog is 19-6-1 ATS the last 26 in this series. Despite the better conference and overall record, Milwaukee is a dog here tonight. This conference is played at home sites and that makes Milwaukee the home team. I'll take Milwaukee in this one.

The Milwaukee Bucks have moved into the top spot in the Eastern Conference, now a half game ahead of Boston. Thanks in big part to a 15 game winning streak by the Bucks. Today they face Orlando, who is 13th and out of the playoff picture at this time. The Magic are 18.5-games back of the bucks and 3.5-games back of the 10th and final playoff spot. The Magic have alternated wins and losses the last eight games, going 4-4 S/U and 3-5 ATS in the process. They are coming of a win and cover at New Orleans, 101-93, as a 4-point dog. Meanwhile, the Bucks have covered four straight games and are 10-4-1 ASTS during their 15 game winning streak. Texas Tech next to last in the conference with a 5-11 record. Texas Tech is 16-13 overall and saw its four game win streak snapped in the last game against TCU, 82-83, as a 2-point favorite. Kansas is 24-5 overall and has won six straight games, covering five of those. Their last loss was on Feb 4 at Iowa State, 53-68, as a 1.5-point favorite. While the Jayhawks are 14-1 S/U at home, they are just 6-9 vs the spread. These teams met way back on Jan 3 in Texas Tech with Kansas winning 75-72, as a 1.5-point favorite. The Lakers playoff hopes might have taken a big blow as Lebron James is expected to miss some significant time with a foot injury. The Lakers were close to the playoff spots but with this setback it looks like they could be in trouble. LA had won and covered their last three games, including last game at Dallas where they trailed by double digits in the first half. Memphis is coming off a home win over Denver, 112-94, as a 3-point favorite. They are 4-2 S/U and 3-3 ATS in their last six games. The Grizzlies are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings with the Lakers at Memphis. With James out tonight, I'll take Memphis.

 Big 12 action here today has West Virginia taking on Iowa State. Iowa State (8-8) is 6th in the conference while West Virginia (5-11) is 8th. West Virginia is coming off a loss at Kansas, 74-76, as a 9.5-point dog. However, they were in that game with the Jayhawks until the very end, shooting 45.9% from the field. That made two covers in a row. They average 71.6 ppg on the road while allowing 75.2 ppg on the road. Iowa State is 17-11 overall this season and looks to snap a 3-game losing streak both S/U and ATS here today. The Cyclones have also lost five of their last six both S/U and ATS. They are coming off a home loss to Oklahoma, 50-61, as a 7.5-point favorite. Now sure what is up with the offense, but they have scored 50, 54 and 55 points in each of their last three games. In addition, they have not broken 60 points in three of their last four games. Looks like a bit of an overcorrection on the line here today. I'll take those points with West Virginia.

Eastern Conference clash here on Monday has 3rd place Philadelphia hosting 7th place Miami. Philadelphia is 39-20 and four games back of 1st place Boston. They have won seven of their last 10 games. Miami has won just four of their last 10 games and lost four straight. Miami does lead the SouthEast division, but that isn't saying much since no other team in the division has a record above the .500 mark. The Heat have not been good to bettors, going 0-4 ATS their last four, 1-8 ATS their last nine and 3-12 ATS their last 15. They are also 0-7 ATS in their last seven games after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. Philly had their five game win and spread streak snapped last game with a loss to the top team in the East, Boston, 107-110. Philly led a lot of that game to lose in a wild finish that saw Philly hit a 3/4 court length shot but time has just expired. They have covered seven of their last 10 games. This is the first of a back-to-back spot here between these teams with the next game on March 1st. I'll take Philly here in this first game.

 Eastern Conference clash today has Toronto travelling to Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers. Toronto is 9th in the East right now with a 30-31 record. Cleveland is 4th in the East with a 36-25 record. The Raptors can get back to the .500 mark here today with a win. They are last in the Atlantic Division, but have won four straight and seven of their last eight games. The Raptors have to play in a back-to-back spot here today after beating the Pistons on Saturday, 95-91, but failing to cover the 7.5-point line. They have a 11-16-2 Spread record on the road this year. Cleveland has been one of the surprise teams in the East this year with a 38-25 record. After winning seven straight games, the Cavs have now lost three straight after Friday's loss at Atlanta, 119-136. They have also lost four straight to the spread after winning six straight. The Cavs have covered 11 of the last 14 in this series at Cleveland. I'll take the Cavs here on Sunday.

American Athletic Conference clash here on Sunday has 6th place Wichita State (7-8) taking on 3rd place Tulane (10-4). Wichita State looks to stay above the .500 mark today as they play at Tulane. The Shockers are 14-13 overall on the season and had their two game win streak snapped last game by Memphis, 78-83, as a 3-point dog. Wichita State has been a great road team, going 6-3 S/U and 7-0-2 vs the spread. They have outscored their hosts 68.9 to 66.1 this year on the road too. Tulane is 17-8 overall and had their five game win streak snapped last game at Houston, 58-89 as a 15-point dog. Tulane could shoot just 38% in that loss while allowing Houston to shoot 47%. The San Antonio Spurs are the 2nd worst team in the NBA. Only Houston has fewer wins (13). The Spurs are 14-46 on the season and being outscoring by a whopping 10.4 ppg, most by far in the NBA. They have lost 15 straight games and are 1-13 ATS their last 14 games. The Jazz are not as good as previous seasons as they sit in 10th place in the West with a 30-31 record. They are coming off a win at Oklahoma City, 120-119 as a 1-point favorite. They have gone 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games. The Jazz have also covered five of the last seven meetings with the Spurs played in Utah. This is a game that Utah should run away with and I will be surprised if they don't. Take Utah.

West Virginia is 5-10 in conference and 16-12 overall. The Mountaineers snapped a 3-game losing streak with a win over Oklahoma State, 85-67 last time out as a 5.5-point favorite. They are now 5-4 S/U and 4-5 ATS in their last nine games. WVU averages 76.6 ppg (62nd in the NCAA). They are 18th in schedule-adjusted offensive efficiency according to Kenpom. Meanwhile, Kansas is 5-0 S/U and ATS in its last five overall games. And, while they are 13-1 S/U at home, they are just 6-8 vs the spread. Houston is 25-2 overall on the season and has won seven straight since their second loss of the season to Temple, 55-56, as a 19-point favorite.
