02-27-19 | Fulham v. Southampton OVER 2.5 | Top | 0-2 | Loss | -111 | 14 h 16 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. Southampton will host Fulham on Wednesday, in a battle of the bottom feeders in the English Premier League. Neither of these two clubs have had any success defending this season, allowing 111 goals between them. Fulham ranks dead last in the Premier League conceding 61 goals in total this season. The Saints have allowed multiple goals in each of their last seven matches, and during that span they scored nine goals. Southampton has scored 14 goals in their last nine home matches. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
02-26-19 | Thunder v. Nuggets UNDER 238 | 112-121 | Win | 100 | 10 h 12 m | Show
This is an 8* play on OKC@DEN to go Under the total. The Nuggets are three games up on Oklahoma City, sitting first place in the Northwest Division. They have been one of the toughest defensive teams in the Western Conference this season, and they have given the Thunder plenty of trouble in recent head to head meetings. Denver won all four meetings versus Oklahoma City in 2018, and the Thunder failed to score 100 points in the last two head to head meetings. The under is 6-2 in the last eight meetings, but tonight's total is way higher than it was in any of those previous eight games. The Thunder have failed to reach the total in eight of their last 10 when playing a team with a winning record. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
02-26-19 | New Mexico v. San Jose State UNDER 154.5 | 82-89 | Loss | -104 | 10 h 40 m | Show
This is an 8* play on UNM@SJS to go Under the total. The San Jose State Spartans are the bottom of the barrel in the Mountain West, coming into tonight's home game versus New Mexico with an 0-14 conference record. They are just 3-10 at home this season, scoring and average of just 63.8 points in those games. These teams have a history of playing low scoring games, especially in San Jose. The under is 8-1 in the last 9 meetings, and the under is 7-1 in the Lobos last eight versus teams with a losing straight up record. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
02-26-19 | Celtics v. Raptors UNDER 227 | 95-118 | Win | 100 | 8 h 44 m | Show
This is an 8* play on BOS@TOR to go Under the total. The Raptors are 2.5 games out of first place in the Eastern Conference, and they will play a huge game at home versus Boston tonight. This is also a big game for the Celtics, who are coming off back to back losses, and are still looking to establish themselves as a contender in the East. Both these two teams rank in the Top 10 in the NBA in opponent's scoring average, so it's a little surprising that tonight's total is higher than it was in any of the previous 10 meetings. The Celtics have failed to reach the total in seven of their last eight road games, and each of their last five visits to Toronto yeilded less than 225 combined points. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
02-26-19 | Predators v. Blues UNDER 5.5 | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 37 m | Show
This is an 8* play on NAS@STL to go Under the total. The St. Louis Blues have the best record in the NHL since January 1st, and during that time they lead the league in goals against. Rookie goaltender Jordan Binnington is 14-2-1 with a 1.70 GAA, and a .934 save percentage. Those numbers would have him ranked #1 overall in the NHL if he played enough games to qualify. The Blues host Nashville tonight, and seven of their last 10 versus the Predators have failed to reach the total. The under is 7-1-1 in Predators last nine games following a win, and the under is 6-1 in the Blues last seven home games. The under is 9-2-1 in Blues last 12 versus teams with a winning record. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
02-26-19 | Iowa v. Ohio State UNDER 142 | 70-90 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 37 m | Show
This is an 8* play on IOWA@OSU to go Under the total. Iowa scored just 63 points in regulation in a 76-70 home win over Indiana in their last game. They might not need to score all that many points tonight, playing an Ohio State Buckeyes squad that has averaged just 56 points over their last five games. The Buckeyes can play some defense though, holding opponents to just 59.6 points per game in their last five overall. The under is 6-2-1 in Buckeyes last 9 games following a straight up loss, and the under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings in Ohio St. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
02-22-19 | Davidson v. Rhode Island UNDER 132 | 75-66 | Loss | -109 | 17 h 21 m | Show

02-21-19 | Connecticut v. SMU UNDER 146 | 59-77 | Win | 100 | 24 h 8 m | Show
This is an 8* play on UCONN@SMU to go Under the total. Both the Huskies and the Mustangs have underacheived this season, and neither team is lighting it up on offense. Injuries have plagued both teams, leaving them lacking depth in scoring. Connecticut is averaging just 68 points per game in their last five overall, and during that span they failed to reach the total in four of five. Even the one game that went over still saw fewer than 145 points. The Mustangs can still play pretty good defense at home, holding opponents to just 65 points per game. Tonight's total is far higher than it was in any of the last 10 head to head meetings, and I am going to fade the inflated number. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
02-20-19 | Butler v. Marquette OVER 145 | 69-79 | Win | 100 | 18 h 0 m | Show
This is an 8* play on the Villanova Wildcats. After blowing out St. John's in the first half (37-26), Villanova let the game slip away in the second half, losing 71-65 at MSG on Sunday. They will play at Georgetown tonight, and this looks like a good spot to bounce back with a convincing victory. The Wildcats have won nine straight meetings in this series dating back to 2015. They are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings, including a pair of double digit wins at Georgetown. The are 35-16 ATS in their last 51 road games, while the Hoyas are 15-39-1 ATS in their last 55 home games. Georgetown is just 5-11-1 ATS in it's last 17 versus the BIG EAST. Take VILL. GL, Jesse Schule
02-20-19 | North Carolina v. Duke UNDER 166.5 | Top | 88-72 | Win | 100 | 23 h 9 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on under 166.5. The Blue Devils have won nine straight since losing in overtime to Syracuse. They failed to reach the total in six of those nine games, and tonight's total is far higher than it was in any of those contests. Everyone expects fireworks every time Duke and North Carolina play each other, but these teams played three times last year and went under in all three games. Duke is allowing just 62.7 points per game at home, and 66.8 points per game in their last five overall. The under is 20-8-1 in the Blue Devils last 29 home games, and 15-5-2 in their last 22 games following a straight up win. The under is 5-1 in the Tar Heels last six road games, and 3-0-1 in their last four at Duke. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
02-20-19 | Juventus v. Atletico Madrid UNDER 2.5 | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 12 h 52 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Under 2.5. After a pair of 0-0 draws in Champions League action yesterday, another snooze fest wouldn't surprise here on Wednesday. Two of the best defensive teams in Europe will meet in Madrid. Atletico has allowed a league best 17 goals in 24 matches in Spain, while Juventus has allowed just 15 goals in 24 matches in the Series A. Juventus has posted consecutive clean sheets in it's last two matches, while Atletico has failed to reach the total in three of it's last four matches. I don't see either of these teams scoring more than one goal. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
02-17-19 | Flyers v. Red Wings OVER 5.5 | 3-1 | Loss | -135 | 9 h 11 m | Show
This is an 8* play on PHI@DET to go Over the total. The Flyers just barely hung on to win in overtime 6-5 in yesterday's home game versus Detroit. It was their 11th win in their last 13 games, and during that span the offense has been firing on all cylinders. Philly still isn't winning many games with it's defense and great goaltending, ranking 26th in the league in goals against. The Red Wings are only slightly better, ranking 23rd in the NHL allowing 3.24 goals per game. The over is 4-1 in Flyers last five games as a road favorite, and 5-1 in the Red Wings last six games playing on 0 days rest. The over is 10-3 in the Red Wings last 13 in the fourth game of a 4-in-6 days situation. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
02-17-19 | Seton Hall v. Creighton UNDER 148.5 | 81-75 | Loss | -109 | 6 h 20 m | Show
This is an 8* play on HALL@CRE to go Under the total. The Pirates beat Creighton by a score of 63-58 at home earlier this season, and I expect another low scoring game here at Creighton. Neither of these teams have been lighting it up offensively this season, each averaging well under 70 points per game over their last five games. Neither team is allowing 70 points per game over their last five either. The under is 6-0 in the Bluejays last six overall, and 5-2 in their last seven home games. The under is 4-0 in the Pirates last four road games, and 4-1 in their last five overall. The total for Sunday's game appears to be a little inflated. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
02-16-19 | Oregon v. Oregon State OVER 132.5 | 57-72 | Loss | -109 | 13 h 27 m | Show
This is an 8* play on ORE@ORST to go Over the total. The Ducks have won four of five heading into tonight's game at Oregon State, and they scored an average of 69.8 points in those games. They lost 77-72 at home to the Beavers earlier this season, going well over the total. The Beavers have gone over in six of their last seven overall, and the they have not played well defensively during that span. Over their last five games, they have allowed an average of 75.8 points. The Beavers average 78.1 points per game at home, while they allow opponents to average over 70 points. The total for tonight's game appears to be a little low. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
02-16-19 | Washington v. Washington State OVER 147 | Top | 72-70 | Loss | -110 | 23 h 24 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on WASH@WSU to go Over the total. Washington State is just 3-8 in the PAC12, ahead of only California. The Cougars do score a lot of points at home though, averaging 84.4 points while winning eight of 11 games. They lost 85-67 at Washington earlier this season, but tonight's game could be a lot closer than that. The over is 13-4 in Cougars last 17 home games, and the total for tonight's game is far lower than it was in their previous four home games versus the Huskies. Washington State's last home game was a 93-84 loss to USC. The Huskies gave up 75 points in a loss at Arizona State in their last road game, and I expect the Cougars to get their points at home tonight. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
02-16-19 | West Virginia v. Kansas OVER 144.5 | 53-78 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 11 m | Show
This is an 8* play on WVU@KU to go Over the total. Injuries have plagued Kansas this season, but West Virginia has even bigger problems. Most recently the Mountaineers dismissed senior forward Esa Ahmad and junior guard Wesley Harris for unspecified violations. Harris is considered to be the team's best defender. The Jayhawks have won six straight home games against West Virginia since 2015, and they scored an average of 79 points in those games. Six of the last eight head to head meetings have gone over the total, and the over is 34-16-2 in the Jayhawks last 52 home games. I don't think we'll see a lot of defense here in today's game. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
02-14-19 | Canucks v. Kings OVER 5.5 | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 12 h 50 m | Show
This is an 8* play on VAN@LAK to go Over the total. The Canucks are coming off a 1-0 loss at Anaheim last night, and playing their second game of a back to back they are expected to start backup goaltender Marek Mazanek tonight in LA. Mazanek was recently acquired to fill in for injured backup Thatcher Demko. The Kings have been dealing away players before the trade deadline, and they sit dead last in the Pacific Division with 51 points. LA has gone over the total in seven of their last eight overall, and goaltender Jonathan Quick has been lit up for 19 goals in his last five starts. Vancouver has lost five of their last six, and they have allowed 20 goals in those six games. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
02-13-19 | Arizona State v. Colorado OVER 146 | 73-77 | Win | 100 | 19 h 15 m | Show
This is an 8* play on ARZT@COL to go Over the total. The Buffaloes have won 8-of-10 at home, and they scored an average of 83.3 points in those games. They have a history of playing high scoring games at home versus Arizona State. They beat the Sun Devils 97-85 at home last season, and they have gone over in each of their last four home games versus Arizona State. The Sun Devils have averaged over 78 points per game over their last five overall. The total for tonight's game is lower than the number in each of the last five head to head meetings. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
02-12-19 | Paris St Germain v. Manchester United OVER 2.5 | Top | 2-0 | Loss | -139 | 541 h 32 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. The Red Devils are a different team since they sacked Jose Mourino. They have really opened up with a less conservative style of play, and the results speak for themselves. Wins over Cardiff City, AFC Bournemouth and Huddersfield Town have come by a combined score of 12-3. They come off a 3-0 win over Fulham on Saturday, and they host PSG in the first leg of a Champions League tie this afternoon. PSG is in rough shape, with two of it's three Super Stars sidelined by injury. Edinson Cavani and Neymar have scored 30 goals between them, but Killian Mbappe has netted 18 goals in just 20 matches. All three players scored in a 4-1 win over Red Star Belgrade in their last Champions League match. I expect to see an exciting match here at Old Trafford, and I don't fancy either team to post a clean sheet. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
02-11-19 | Kansas v. TCU UNDER 148 | 82-77 | Loss | -109 | 21 h 48 m | Show

02-10-19 | Chelsea v. Manchester City OVER 2.5 | 0-6 | Win | 100 | 22 h 16 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Over 2.5. Liverpool moved back into the top of the table in the Premier League with a 3-0 win over Bournemouth Saturday. The pressure is on Manchester City to keep pace, and they will be a big favorite Sunday versus Chelsea. The Citizens have won 12 straight matches, and they have been particuarly dominant at the Etihad. They've scored an unbelievable 27 goals in their last five home matches. Chelsea on the other hand has been brutal on the road, conceding six goals in losses to Bournemout and Arsenal in their last two away matches. We should see plenty of scoring here in this match. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
02-09-19 | Oklahoma State v. Kansas UNDER 142.5 | 72-84 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 47 m | Show
This is an 8* play on OKST@KU to go Under the total. The Kansas Jayhawks have owned the BIG12 for as long as I can remember, but their reign appears to be coming to an end. Already suffering several key injuries, they come into today's game against Oklahoma State without senior guard LaGerald Vick. Oklahoma State has lost four straight on the road, and three of those four games failed to reach the total. The Cowboys have scored just 63.8 points per game over their last five, but they have played well defensively. The under is 10-4 in Cowboys last 14 games following a straight up loss, and the under is 9-4-1 in the Cowboys last 14 versus the Big 12. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
02-09-19 | Manchester United v. Fulham OVER 2.5 | Top | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 30 h 18 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on Over 2.5. The Red Devils are a different team since they sacked Jose Mourino. They have really opened up with a less conservative style of play, and the results speak for themselves. Wins over Cardiff City, AFC Bournemouth and Huddersfield Town have come by a combined score of 12-3. They will play at Fulham Saturday, and Fulham has conceded a Premier League worst 55 goals this season. They lost 4-1 at Old Trafford earlier this season, and four of the last five matches between these clubs have seen at least four goals. Fulham scored four goals in a 4-2 win over Brighton Hove Albion in their last home game, and they've scored at least once in five straight at home. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
02-06-19 | Baylor v. Texas UNDER 134.5 | 72-84 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 50 m | Show
8* | |||||||
02-04-19 | Canucks v. Flyers OVER 6 | 1-2 | Loss | -117 | 6 h 22 m | Show
This is an 8* play on VAN@PHI to go Over the total. The Canucks are coming off a 5-1 win at Colorado, and they've won three of their last four overall. The Flyers on the other hand have been one of the league's hottest teams, riding a seven game winning streak. Both teams are clicking on offense, but both clubs rank near the bottom of the league in goals against (18th and 28th). Philly played two home games against Vancouver in 2017 (the last two home meetings) going 1-1 in those games. The Canucks won by a score of 5-2, and Philly won in overtime by a score of 5-4. We should see plenty of goals here in a game between two teams that are a lot better on offense than they are on defense. Take OVER. GL, Jesse Schule
02-02-19 | St. Louis v. Rhode Island UNDER 133 | 54-65 | Win | 100 | 12 h 27 m | Show
This is an 8* play on SLU@URI to go Under the total.
01-29-19 | Kansas v. Texas OVER 139 | 63-73 | Loss | -115 | 19 h 20 m | Show
This is an 8* play on KU@TEX to go Over the total. The Jayhawks barely beat Texas at home earlier this month, winning by a score of 80-78. Kansas won both meetings last season, and both of those games saw at least 150 combined points. The total for tonight's game in Texas seems a little low when you consider that the Longhorns have gone over in five of their last seven home games. Texas has gone over the total in four of their last five games overall, and during that span they have averaged 71.2 points on 44 percent shooting. Kansas has won 10 straight meetings versus Texas dating back to 2014, and they have averaged almost 80 points in those games. I like their chances of scoring their share here in Texas tonight. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
01-26-19 | Kansas v. Kentucky OVER 144 | Top | 63-71 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 46 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on KU@UK to go Over the total. I bet on the over in the Jayhawks win over Iowa State on Monday. Here is what I said prior to that game: "The #7 ranked Kansas Jayhawks are coming off a 65-64 loss on the road at West Virginia, but I expect a much higher score here in Ksnsas tonight. The Jayhawks are 10-0 at home, and they have averaged 81.2 points on 49.5 points in those games. Their most recent home game was an 80-78 win over Texas." The Over is 12-3-1 in the Jayhawks last 16 non-conference games, and 20-9-2 in their last 31 overall. I like both teams to pile on the points here in the BIG12/SEC Challenge. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
01-23-19 | St. Louis v. Duquesne UNDER 135 | 73-77 | Loss | -109 | 18 h 15 m | Show
This is an 8* play on SLU@DUQ to go Under the total. The Saint Louis Bilikens are still undefeated in the A-10, with a 5-0 record heading into tonight's game at Duquesne. They don't score a lot of points, averaging just 67.2 points per game on 41.6 percent shooting. They are brutal at the free throw line, hitting just 57 percent in their last five games. What makes them so successful is their lock down defense, holding the opposition to less than 60 points per game. They have gone under in five of their last six overall, and the under is 22-10-1 in their last 33 road games. These two teams have gone over in each of the last five head to head meetings, but tonight's total is higher than it was in any of those games. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-22-19 | Mississippi State v. Kentucky OVER 144 | 55-76 | Loss | -115 | 20 h 42 m | Show
This is an 8* play on MISST@UK to go Over the total. The Kentucky Wildcats are coming off an 82-80 win at Auburn, and they have won seven of their last eight overall. They host Mississippi State Tuesday, and the Bulldogs have won back to back games against Florida and Vanderbilt. Both these teams have been on a tear offensively of late, and one significant stat is that they have both hit over 75 percent of their free throws over their last five games. That could make a huge difference when it comes to the total, and these teams have a history of playing high scoring games. Nine of the last 10 head to head meetings have gone over the number. Kentucky has gone over in 10 of it's last 13 SEC games, and Mississippi State has gone over in six straight at Kentucky. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
01-21-19 | Iowa State v. Kansas OVER 145.5 | 76-80 | Win | 100 | 25 h 48 m | Show
This is an 8* play on ISU@KU to go Over the total. The #7 ranked Kansas Jayhawks are coming off a 65-64 loss on the road at West Virginia, but I expect a much higher score here in Ksnsas tonight. The Jayhawks are 10-0 at home, and they have averaged 81.2 points on 49.5 points in those games. Their most recent home game was an 80-78 win over Texas. They have gone over in four of their last five home games versus the Cyclones, and the most recent home game against Iowa State was an 83-78 win last January. The over is 16-6-2 in the Jayhawks last 24 home games, and 17-4 in their last 21 home games against the Cyclones. The total for tonight's game is far lower than it was in the majority of those previous encounters. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
01-20-19 | Manchester City v. Huddersfield Town OVER 2.5 | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 102 h 16 m | Show
This is a 5* play on Over 2.5. Manchester City has out-scored opponents 19-0 in their last three matches, and they face bottom feeders Huddersfield Town on Sunday. Relegation appears to be inevitable for Huddersfield, sitting dead last in the Premier League, three points back of Fulham. They lost 6-1 to Manchester City earlier this season, and another high scoring game is likely. Man City has a +42 goal differential, which is the best in the Premier League. They should be able to score at least three here against the worst team in the Premier League. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
01-19-19 | Virginia v. Duke OVER 138.5 | Top | 70-72 | Win | 100 | 17 h 21 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on UVA@DUKE to go Over the total. The Virginia Cavs might be catching Duke at a good time, with the Blue Devils coming off a 95-91 home loss to Syracuse. Remember the Cavs beat Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium last January by a score of 65-63. Virginia comes in averaging 78.4 points on 50.5 percent shooting in their last five games. The Blue Devils have allowed opponents to average over 72 points in their last five games. There are plenty of shooters on both these teams, and both teams hit for a high percentage from the free throw line. Virginia has been on fire from beyond the arc, hitting 45.9 percent over their last five games. I expect both teams to score over 70 points here tonight. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
01-19-19 | Michigan v. Wisconsin OVER 126 | 54-64 | Loss | -115 | 14 h 51 m | Show
This is an 8* play on MICH@WIS to go Over the total. The Wolverines bring a perfect 17-0 record into Wisconsin, and the Badgers have lost four of their last five. Michigan won 83-72 at Wisconsin in the last meeting between these teams, and I think the total for this game is far too low. The Badgers have averaged over 80 points on better than 50 percent shooting at home, and while their defense has been solid they face a Michigan team that has scored 75 points per game in their last five overall. The over is 5-2-1 in the last eight meetings in Wisconsin. The over is 8-3-2 in the Wolverines last 13 versus the Big Ten. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
01-18-19 | Islanders v. Capitals OVER 6 | 2-0 | Loss | -111 | 10 h 56 m | Show
This is an 8* play on NYI@WAS to go Over the total. The Capitals look to snap a three game losing streak tonight when they host the Islanders, and both teams are expected to start backup goaltenders. Washington will be happy if they don't see Robin Lehner, who ranks near the top of all the goaltending categories in the NHL and owns the lowest GAA. The Caps are expected to be without Braden Holtby for a fourth consecutive game, and backup Phoenix Copley is coming off a poor performance in a 7-2 loss at Nashville. Washington has won their last two home games against New York 6-3 and 4-3. I expect another high scoring game here in the nation's capital tonight. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
01-17-19 | Kings v. Stars UNDER 5.5 | Top | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 18 h 13 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on LAK@DAL to go Under the total. The Dallas Stars have fallen on tough times, coming into tonight's home game against LA as losers of four of their last five overall. They have struggled on offense, scoring two goals or less in 11 of their last 14 games overall. They are still in a solid position to make the playoffs, which means they really need to turn things around. They might be able to do just that against an LA Kings team that ranks 31st in the NHL in scoring. The Stars have failed to reach the total in six straight overall, while the Kings have gone under in eight of their last 10 overall. Low scoring games are nothing new for LA, as the under is 58-27-8 in the Kings last 93 road games. I'll bet on another low score here tonight. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule Copyright © 1
01-16-19 | Houston v. SMU OVER 136 | 69-58 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 47 m | Show
This is an 8* play on HOU@SMU to go Over the total. The SMU Mustangs have gone under in five straight games, but Houston has gone over in four of their last five. Both teams have been shooting the ball well of late. Houston has scored 78.4 points on 43.7 percent shooting, while the Mustangs have averaged 75.6 points on 42.5 percent shooting over their last five games. Both teams are shooting out the lights at the free throw line, hitting 79.4 percent and 72.9 percent respectively over their last five games. The Cougars have gone over in three of their last four visits to Dallas. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
01-15-19 | Warriors v. Nuggets UNDER 228 | 142-111 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 2 m | Show
This is an 8* play on GS@DEN to go under the total. The Warriors haven't been as dominant this season as they have been in recent years, and they come into Denver trailing the Nuggets by a half game for top spot in the West. Denver has been successful thanks to their 4th best defense that allows just 105.5 points per game. History tells us that these teams have played strong defense in past meetings. Three of the last four head to head meetings have gone under the total. Given that the winner of this game will take over first place in the Western Conference Standings, we could see a game with a playoff atmosphere. The under is 9-2 in Nuggets last 11 home games versus teams with a winning road record. I think tonight's total looks a little high. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-15-19 | Ducks v. Red Wings UNDER 5.5 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 17 h 51 m | Show
This is an 8* play on ANA@DET to go Under the total. The Anaheim Ducks have lost 11 straight overall, and they come into the Motor City as a desperate hockey club. They are still in the hunt, just two points out of a playoff spot, so there's no reason to expect them to give up on the season just yet. Offense has been hard to come by for the Ducks, ranking 30th in the NHL in scoring. Goals have been hard to come by for Detroit as well, and that's especially true in previous meetings with the Ducks. Anaheim is 3-1 in the last four meetings, and Detroit has only scored six goals in those games. Three of the four games went under the total. The under is 8-3-2 in the Ducks last 13 overall, and 34-15-2 in their last 51 road games. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-15-19 | Rutgers v. Purdue OVER 140 | 54-89 | Win | 100 | 16 h 14 m | Show
This is an 8* play on Over 139.5. The Boilermakers are coming off an 84-80 win over Wisconsin, and high scoring games have been the norm for Purdue this year. They have gone over in six of their last eight overall, and the over is 5-1 in their last 6 home games versus teams with a losing road record. They have scored 79.4 points per game in their last five overall, but they have also conceded more than 70 points per game during that span. They scored exactly 82 points in each of their last two home games against Rutgers. The over is 6-1 in the Scarlet Knights last seven versus the Big Ten. Purdue won the last meeting 82-75, and I expect a similar score tonight. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
01-14-19 | Canadiens v. Bruins UNDER 5.5 | Top | 3-2 | Win | 106 | 3 h 27 m | Show |
This is an 8* play on MTL@BOS to go Under the total. The Habs will play the Bruins in Boston tonight, and both these teams are riding hot goaltenders. Carey Price is coming off a shutout win over Colorado, while Tukka Rask has conceded a total of seven goals while winning his last five starts. The under was 4-0-1 in those games. History certainly tells us that a low scoring game should be expected. These teams have gone under in six straight, and nine of the last 10 meetings. The Habs have gone under in seven straight overall, and four straight at Boston. The Bruins have also failed to reach the total in four straight overall. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-12-19 | TCU v. Oklahoma UNDER 148.5 | 74-76 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 47 m | Show
8* | |||||||
01-12-19 | Oklahoma State v. West Virginia UNDER 145 | Top | 85-77 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 12 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on OKST@WVU to go Under the total. The Cowboys have failed to reach the total in seven of their last eight games. I bet the under in their last game, a 61-58 win over Texas. Here is what I said prior to tipoff: "an Oklahoma State team tonight that really struggles to do anything on offense, and I like Texas to remain undefeated in the BIG12. The Cowboys have lost both their games against BIG12 teams, and that includes a home loss to Iowa State. If there is one thing the Cowboys do well, it's strong play on defense. They have held opponents to 63.7 points per game in Stillwater." I will go against another high total here as they play at West Virginia. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-11-19 | Purdue v. Wisconsin UNDER 137 | 84-80 | Loss | -105 | 21 h 37 m | Show
This is an 8* play on PUR@WIS to go Under the total. The last time Wisconsin played Purdue neither team scored 60 points. They lost by a score of 57-53 in Madison. The Boilermakers come into tonight's game at Wisconsin with an 0-4 road record, and they have scored just 64 points per game in those losses. Wisconsin is 6-1 at home, and has allowed just 61 points per game in those wins. Wisconsin has failed to reach the total in six of it's last 10 games versus BIG10 teams, while Purdue has gone under in four of their last five road games. Six of the last seven head to head meetings have gone under. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-11-19 | Nets v. Raptors UNDER 221.5 | 105-122 | Loss | -107 | 19 h 9 m | Show
This is an 8* play on BKN@TOR to go Under the total. The Raptors are coming off a 104-101 win over the Hawks, in a game that they trailed for most of the first three quarters. They played a similar game against the Nets in Brooklyn a few weeks ago, and they ended up losing in OT by score of 106-105. The Nets have been rolling lately, winning four of their last five. They have played solid defense, allowing 100 points or less in each of their last three wins. Four of the last six head to head meetings between these teams have come up short of the total. Brooklyn hasn't seen 220 combined points in any of their last four games. I expect another low scoring game in Toronto tonight. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-10-19 | Thunder v. Spurs UNDER 223.5 | Top | 147-154 | Loss | -109 | 20 h 14 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on OKC@SA to go Under the total. One of the biggest stories of the first half of the season has been an increase in scoring league wide. While the numbers are up this year from years past, one trend has held true for as long as I can remember. When the playoffs get closer, the defensive intensity always increases. This appears to be the case for the Spurs, who have been steadily impoving on defense. Their last home game was a 108-88 win over the Grizzlies. They come into tonight's game as winners of five of their last six, and they have allowed just 103 points per game during that span. The Thunder rank in the Top 10 in the NBA in opponent's scoring average, and the under is 6-1 in the last seven head to head meetings, and 4-1 in the last five at San Antonio. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-10-19 | SMU v. Connecticut UNDER 146.5 | 64-76 | Win | 100 | 21 h 48 m | Show
This is an 8* play on SMU@UCONN to go Under the total. The Mustangs bring a 10-4 overall record, and a 2-0 road record into Connecticut Thursday. These two teams have a history of playing close games, and SMU has won and covered in four of the last five meetings. Three of those games went over the total, but only one of those games saw more than 140 points. The total for tonight's game is more than 10 points higher than it was in any of the previous meetings. The Huskies have held opponents to 66.6 points per game over their last five overall, and the Mustangs have been even stingier during that span. This total appears to be grossly inflated. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-09-19 | Massachusetts v. St. Louis UNDER 138 | 62-65 | Win | 100 | 21 h 21 m | Show
This is an 8* play on MASS@SLU to go Under the total. The Saint Louis Bilikens have been a defensive juggernaut this season, and they have been particularly stingy at home. They are allowing just 58.7 points on 37.8 percent shooting while winning all nine of their home games so far. They host an inferior opponent tonight, and the Minutemen scored just 47 points in a loss to the Bilikens in the last head to head meeting. The total for tonight's game is far higher than it was in any of the last four head to head meetings. The Bilikens have failed to reach the total in 12 of their last 14 home games, and I see no reason why that trend won't hold true here in what appears to be a complete mismatch. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-08-19 | Oklahoma v. Texas Tech UNDER 132 | 59-66 | Win | 100 | 18 h 55 m | Show
This is an 8* play on OKLA@TTU to go Under the total. I bet against Oklahoma in their loss to Kansas, and here is what I had to say before tip off: "Oklahoma is 11-0 versus unranked teams, but in their one game versus a Top 25 team, they were crushed by a score of 78-58 in a loss to Wisconsin. Kansas isn't just a Top 25 team, the Jayhawks are ranked in the Top 5. They are still unbeaten at home, and they beat Oklahoma by 30 points at home last year. The Sooners have failed to cover in nine of their last 11 versus the BIG12, and they are likely coming into this game a little overrated after covering in nine of their last 10 versus non-conference opposition. While the Sooners have been impresssive, they haven't proven a lot based on a lack of quality wins." They ended up getting a back door cover in that game, after trailing by 15 at halftime. I don't like their chances against a Texas Tech team that has allowed just 48.1 points per game while winning all nine of their home games. I like Texas Tech to shut down Oklahoma's offense. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-08-19 | Mississippi State v. South Carolina UNDER 149 | 82-87 | Loss | -109 | 18 h 48 m | Show
This is an 8* play on MISST@SOCAR to go Under the total. It's been a tough start for the South Carolina Gamecocks, who come into tonight's home game versus Mississippi State with a losing record. They simply can't seem to score, averaging just 66.6 points on 40.5 percent shooting over their last five games. They might not fancy their chances of scoring tonight against a Bulldogs team that won it's only road game by a score of 65-58 at Dayton. Previous meetings between these two teams have gone over more often than not, but the total was listed under 140 in each of the last four meetings. With a total more than 10 points higher than it was the last four times these teams met, I'll roll the dice with a play on the under. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-08-19 | Texas v. Oklahoma State UNDER 133 | 58-61 | Win | 100 | 16 h 55 m | Show
This is an 8* play on TEX@OKST to go Under the total. Texas has won back to back games to start conference play, including a 20 point win on the road at Kansas State. They face an Oklahoma State team tonight that really struggles to do anything on offense, and I like Texas to remain undefeated in the BIG12. The Cowboys have lost both their games against BIG12 teams, and that includes a home loss to Iowa State. If there is one thing the Cowboys do well, it's strong play on defense. They have held opponents to 63.7 points per game in Stillwater. That might not be good enough against a Texas team that has allowed just 57 points per game in their last five overall. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-07-19 | Alabama v. Clemson UNDER 61 | Top | 16-44 | Win | 100 | 212 h 58 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on CLEM@BAMA to go Under the total.
01-06-19 | Memphis v. Houston UNDER 147 | Top | 77-90 | Loss | -109 | 20 h 41 m | Show |
10* | |||||||
01-05-19 | Oklahoma State v. Oklahoma UNDER 144 | 64-74 | Win | 100 | 3 h 16 m | Show
This is an 8* play on OKST@OKLA to go Under the total. I bet on the under in the Cowboy's last game, a home loss to Iowa State by a score of 69-63. Here is what I said prior to tip off: "The Oklahoma State Cowboys have been terrible this season, especially on offense. They have averaged just 66 points per game over their last five overall, and that includes games against Houston and Nebraska that they scored 53 points and 59 points. The good news is that they have been pretty tough on defense, particularly at home. They are allowing just 62.6 points per game on 37.9 percent shooting at home. They have failed to reach the total in 16 of their last 21 games overall. The under is 35-17-1 in their last 53 home games. The under is 10-4 in the Cyclones last 14 overall. This will be the first game of conference play for both teams, and I don't think either team is going to give up many easy buckets." Oklahoma is better defensively than the Cyclones, so I can't see this game being very high scoring. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-03-19 | Iowa v. Purdue UNDER 152.5 | 70-86 | Loss | -117 | 17 h 50 m | Show
This is an 8* play on IOWA@PUR to go Under the total. The Iowa Hawkeyes are ranked #20, but they are a big underdog on the road versus unranked Purdue. That's because these Boilermakers are a monster at home. Purdue has won all six home games, and allowed an average of 61.2 points in those games. The home team is 13-4 ATS in the last 17 meetings, and the under is 3-0-1 in the last 4 meetings in Purdue. The under is 15-6-1 in Boilermakers last 22 versus BIG10 teams, and both their previous two games versus BIG10 teams this season went way under. They beat Maryland 62-60 and lost 76-57 at Michigan. I think the total here appears to be a little too high. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-03-19 | NC State v. Miami-FL UNDER 157.5 | 87-82 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 50 m | Show
This is an 8* play on NCST@MIA to go Under the total. The last time these two teams played, it was a blowout with Miami winning 86-81 on the road. The last time the Hurricanes played NC State at home, they won by a score of 81-63. In fact, the Wolfpack have averaged just 62.5 points per game in their last four visits to Miami, and none of those games saw more than 152 total points. Miami is 6-1 at home, and they have allowed an average of just 62.4 points in those games. The Canes have failed to reach the total in five of their last six overall, and the under is 37-18-1 in Miami's last 56 home games. The total for tonight's game is more than 10 points higher than it was in any of the previous 10 meetings. I'll fade the inflated number. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-02-19 | Iowa State v. Oklahoma State UNDER 147 | 69-63 | Win | 100 | 19 h 55 m | Show
This is an 8* play on ISU@OKST to go Under the total. The Oklahoma State Cowboys have been terrible this season, especially on offense. This will be the first game of conference play for both teams, and I don't think either team is going to give up many easy buckets. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-01-19 | Jazz v. Raptors UNDER 210 | 116-122 | Loss | -102 | 5 h 5 m | Show
This is a 10* play on UTAH@TOR to go Under the total. The Utah Jazz are still one of the best defensive teams in the NBA, ranking 5th overall in opponent's scoring average. They face a Raptors team that has really struggled offensively without PG Kyle Lowry. Toronto has averaged just over 97 points per game while going 2-2 in their last four games. They shot just 37 percent from the field against the Bulls, and just over 34 percent from the field in a loss to Orlando. The Jazz have gone under in seven straight when coming off a win, and the under is 8-1 in their last nine overall. The Raptors have failed to reach the total in five of their last six home games. I think this number is far higher than it should be. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
01-01-19 | LSU v. Central Florida OVER 54.5 | Top | 40-32 | Win | 100 | 666 h 46 m | Show |
This is a GOY play on LSU@UCF to go Over the total. The Central Florida Knights are gunning for a second consecutive perfect season, and if LSU doesn't stop them we'll have to put up with another mock Championship Celebration. This should provide plenty of motivation for the Tigers, who have no interest in allowing the Knights to proclaim themselves national champs as they did after beating Auburn last year. The Knights scored 34 points in that game against Auburn, and I expect them score their share here against LSU. Darriel Mack Jr. stepped in to replace the injured McKenzie Milton, and he had a big game against Memphis throwing for 348 yards and two TDs, and running for 59 yards and four more. The outlook for the Knights defense isn't as positive, as they gave up over 400 rushing yards in that game versus Memphis. Just imagine what kind of damage a well rested SEC team will do on the ground. LSU scored a total of 114 points in it's last two games, while Central Florida has averaged 50 points in their last three games. I'll take the over here as I believe the total is far lower than it should be. Take OVER. GL, Jesse Schule
12-28-18 | IUPU-Indianapolis v. Northern Kentucky UNDER 146.5 | Top | 77-92 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 54 m | Show |
This is an 8* play on INDPU@NKU to go Under the total. The Norse are a strong team on defense, allowing just 65 points per game this season, and allowing just over 62 points per game at home. Northern Kentucky has failed to reach the total in five of it's last six home games, and tonight's number is far higher than it was in most of those previous contests. These teams have played in each of the last two seasons, playing low scoring games with INDPU failing to reach 60 points in both games. INPU has failed to reach the total in four straight versus teams from the Horizon, while Northern Kentucky has gone under in 13 of it's last 16 as a home favorite. This total appears to be 5-6 points higher than it should be. Take UNDER. GL, Jesse Schule
12-28-18 | Syracuse v. West Virginia OVER 65.5 | Top | 34-18 | Loss | -109 | 43 h 59 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on WVU@SYR to go Over the total. The West Virginia Mountaineers were hoping to compete for a playoff spot this season, and Will Grier was one of the favorites to win the Heisman. Finishing the season with back to back heartbreaking losses leaves a cloud hanging around Morgantown heading into Bowl Season. When first asked about the Camping World Bowl, Will Grier said: “I have no thoughts or decisions,” Grier said. “I was planning on playing [in the Big 12 championship]. Just kind of taking it all in, my last game in Morgantown. Wish we would have came out on top, but we left it all out there for the fans.” The Orange are coming into this game with a chance to reach 10 wins, which would be considered a huge success for Dino Babers and company. The last time I bet on the Orange, they lost their starting quarterback early in the first quarter and ended up getting blown out by Notre Dame. Here is what I said prior to that game: "This a team that has already proved it can hang with the big boys, last year they handed Clemson it's only regular season loss. Senior quarterback Eric Dungey has been lighting it up with his arm and his legs. He's got a dozen rushing TDs and 690 rushing yards so far this season. The Orange have covered the spread in five straight non conference games, and they are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 against teams with a winning record. While the Mountaineers will miss Grier, this high flying offense still has plenty of weapons. The Orange will be shorthanded on defense with three starters missing the game for personal reasons. I expect to see plenty of scoring here in Orlando. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
12-23-18 | Chiefs v. Seahawks UNDER 54 | Top | 31-38 | Loss | -108 | 161 h 22 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on KC@SEA to go Under the total. The Seahawks return home with a bitter taste in their mouth after losing in overtime at San Francisco. They might just get back on track against a Chiefs team that appears to be vulnerable. I bet against the Chiefs last week, and here is what I said prior to their loss to LA: "The Chiefs offense has been flying high all season, but they come into Thursday's home game against the Chargers a little banged up. They lost one of their most dangerous weapons when they released Kareem Hunt, and Spencer Ware has been pretty mediocre filling his place. Now they might not even have Ware or Sammy Watkins for this game, and if my memory serves me correctly I seem to recall Tyreek Hill limping off the field with a sprained ankle in overtime on Sunday." Patrick Mahomes gets a lot of attention with his "no look" passes, and the rest of his "hot dog" antics. He could be in for a rough ride here in a cold weather game in the Emerald City. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
12-23-18 | Steelers v. Saints UNDER 56 | Top | 28-31 | Loss | -110 | 139 h 41 m | Show |
This is a 10* (GOY) play on PIT@NO to go Under the total.
12-22-18 | Clemson v. South Carolina UNDER 145 | 78-68 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 5 m | Show
This is an 8* play on CLEM@USC to go Under the total. The 8-3 Clemson Tigers will be a slight favorite on the road at South Carolina on Saturday. The 4-6 Gamecocks are just 2-9-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall. Clemson beat the Gamecocks in each of the last two seasons and the Tigers are 7-1 ATS in their last eight versus SEC teams. The trend that I think is even more significant is that these two teams have failed to reach the total in nine straight meetings. Now given the history, it certainly seems odd that tonight's total is almost 10 points higher than it was in any of the previous nine meetings. Clemson has failed to reach the total in 22 of it's last 30 versus SEC teams, and the Gamecocks have gone under in nine of their last 11 versus ACC teams. South Carolina has gone under in nine straight versus teams with a winning record. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
12-20-18 | Northern Illinois v. Northern Kentucky UNDER 149 | 62-65 | Win | 100 | 9 h 17 m | Show
This is a 10* play on NIU@NKU to go Under. This will be the second meeting between Northern Kentucky and Northern Illinois, and the first meeting was tied at 65-65 at the end of regulation. They went on to play double overtime, with the Norse winning by a score of 88-85. We should expect a far lower score here tonight (barring overtime). The Norse are a strong team on defense, allowing just 65 points per game this season, and allowing just over 62 points per game at home. Northern Kentucky has failed to reach the total in four of it's last five home games, and tonight's number is far higher than it was in any of those previous contests. They should shut down the Huskies here at home, and I think this number is grossly inflated, perhaps because of the high score in the last meeting. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
12-17-18 | Grizzlies v. Warriors OVER 210 | 93-110 | Loss | -109 | 3 h 49 m | Show
This is an 8* play on MEM@GSW to go Over. The Warriors are back at full strength, with Draymond and Steph back from injuries. While they have won five of their last six, they haven't exactly looked that sharp. They lost a revenge game to the Raptors at home by a score of 113-93, and they needed to rally from behind to beat Sacramento. Their defense hasn't been very good, allowing and average of 110 points per game in their last six. The trends suggest that these teams have gone under more often than over, but the last two meetings both went way over the total. The Warriors scored 117, and 141 points in those games. I expect to see a high scoring first half here in Oakland. Take Over, GL, Jesse Schule
12-16-18 | Nebraska v. Oklahoma State UNDER 142.5 | Top | 79-56 | Win | 100 | 7 h 27 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on NEB@OKST to go Under the total. When the Cornhuskers take on the Cowboys in Sioux Falls, SD on Sunday, I expect to see a defensive battle. Both these teams have played strong defense so far, but Nebraska has been really impressive only allowing 59.6 points per game. Previous head to head meetings have been really low scoring, going under in each of the last three. Oklahoma State won by a score of 53-52 in the most recent head to head meeting. Low scoring games are nothing new for the Cowboys, the under is 13-3-1 in their last 17 overall. They have also gone under in seven of their last eight neutral site games. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
12-15-18 | West Ham United v. Fulham OVER 2.5 | Top | 2-0 | Loss | -167 | 23 h 59 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on West Ham vs Fulham over 2.5. Fulham has been by far the worst team in the Premier League this season, and relegation appears inevitable. They have conceded a whopping 40 goals in 16 matches, the most of any team in the Premier League. They have scored four times in their last four matches, but they have just two losses and two draws to show for it. The Hammers come to Craven Cottage off three straight wins, scoring a total of nine goals in those games. West Ham has gone over 2.5 goals in six of their last seven matches. The Hammers have seen at least three goals in each of their last five head to head matches versus Fulham. Take OVER. GL, Jesse Schule
12-11-18 | Raptors v. Clippers UNDER 224.5 | 123-99 | Win | 100 | 13 h 39 m | Show
This is an 8* play on TOR@LAC to go Under the total. The Toronto Raptors are still the best team in the NBA, or at least they still have the best record. They come into LA off back to back losses to Milwaukee and Brooklyn, and they struggled to score in both of those games. Kyle Lowry is just 1-for-13 from the field in his last two starts, and he's just 3-for-25 from three point range in his last four starts. The total for tonight's game in LA looks a little inflated, in fact the number is higher than it was in any of the previous 10 meetings between the two teams. These teams have a history of playing low scoring games, failing to reach the total in 12 of the last 15 in NBA. Toronto has failed to reach the total in five straight games, and they should be locked in defensively tonight as they look to avoid a third straight loss. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
12-09-18 | Bucks v. Raptors UNDER 230 | Top | 104-99 | Win | 100 | 26 h 51 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on MIL@TOR to go Under the total. The Bucks are coming off a home loss to the Warriors, scoring a season low 95 points. This is the highest scoring team in the NBA, and they still average over 120 points per game. Playing on the road against one of the league's top defensive teams in Toronto, and their DPOY candidate Kahwi Leonard isn't a good spot for the Bucks. The Raptors are coming off an overtime loss a Brooklyn, suffering a let down after beating the Sixers at home by a score of 113-102. Kyle Lowry was just 1-of-8 from the field in the loss, and he's 4-of-23 from the field in his last three starts. These two teams have gone over in six of the last 10 meetings, but tonight's total is far higher than it was in any of those previous games. In fact, nine of those 10 games saw a total at least 10 points lower than tonight's number. This is a big game between two of the top teams in the East, and easy buckets should be few and far between. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
12-09-18 | Oregon State v. St. Louis UNDER 134.5 | 61-65 | Win | 100 | 3 h 53 m | Show
This is an 8* play on ORST@SLU to go Under the total. The Saint Louis Bilikens are off to a solid 6-2 start, and they are 5-0 at home. All of their success has been achieved as a result of their strong defensive play. They are holding opponents to just 58.8 points per game at home, and during that span that includes a 64-52 win over Butler. Oregon State is no stranger to playing defense as well, holding opponents to 65 points per game his season. Last year the Beavers won 63-60 at home versus the Bilikens. Saint Louis has failed to reach the total in seven of their last eight overall, and five straight at home. The Under is 15-7 in the Beavers last 22 Sunday games. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
12-08-18 | Dayton v. Auburn UNDER 140.5 | Top | 72-82 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 14 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on DAY@AUB to go Under the total. Two of the best defensive teams in the country will face each other when #6 ranked Auburn hosts Dayton on Saturday . The Tigers will be a 15 point favorite, and they are 5-0 at home so far. Perhaps more impressive is that Auburn is only allowing 53.5 points per game at home. Neither of these teams are particularly good at shooting free throws, but hitting around 65 percent from the charity stripe. The Tigers have gone under in six of their last eight at home, and eight of their last 11 overall. All three head to head meetings (in the last decade) went under. Dayton has gone under in four of their last five road games, and in four straight versus SEC teams. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
12-08-18 | Georgetown v. Syracuse UNDER 145.5 | 71-72 | Win | 100 | 19 h 14 m | Show
This is an 8* play on GTWN@SYR to go Under the total. The Syracuse Orange will be a double digit home favorite in today's game against Georgetown, and the reason they are expected to cover such a big number here is because they are so strong defensively. The Orange are 5-0 at home, and they have allowed opponents to average just 52.8 points per game during that span. Historically these teams have played low scoring games, going under in six of the last nine meetings, yet the bookmakers have listed a total higher than it was in any of the previous 10 meetings. Syracuse has gone under in four straight against non-conference opponents, and the under is 4-1 in their last five at home. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
12-05-18 | Washington v. Gonzaga OVER 156 | 79-81 | Win | 100 | 23 h 24 m | Show
This is a 5* play on WAS@GONZ to go Over the total. The Gonzaga Bulldogs are the top ranked team in the country with an 8-0 record. They are averaging 98.4 points per game, second to only The Citadel who average 100 points per game. The Bulldogs are coming off back to back games with over 100 points, and a home game against Washington might see them put up another ridiculous number. They beat Washington 97-70 last year, and 98-71 the year before. So given the history you might expect the total for tonight's game to be over 160. Even though these teams hsve gone over in five of the last six meetings, tonights total is far lower than it was in all of those games. Take OVER. GL, Jesse Schule
12-03-18 | Redskins v. Eagles OVER 43.5 | Top | 13-28 | Loss | -115 | 129 h 40 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on WAS@PHI to go Over the total. When I saw the total open at 43 for Monday's game between Washington and Philly, I assumed that bad weather must be in the forecast in the City of Brotherly Love. That's not the case though, and I think the bookmakers are overreacting to the injury to Alex Smith. The Redskins are still tied for first place in the division, and it's not like Alex Smith was lighting it up when they were winning games. Smith averaged 206 yards per game on 62.5 percent passing, averaging 6.6 yards per pass. McCoy has completed 60 percent of his passes, and has averaged 6.4 yards per pass. On Thanksgiving Day in Dallas, he threw for 268 yards and two TDs, but was picked off three times. He matches up against a Philly team that is very thin in the secondary, and I expect him to have some success moving the ball. These teams actually have a history of playing high scoring games, going over in four of the last five meetings, and four straight meetings in Philly. The total for this game is far lower than it was in any of the previous 10 meetings. I'll fade this low number. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
12-03-18 | Iowa v. Michigan State UNDER 158 | 68-90 | Push | 0 | 20 h 40 m | Show
This is an 8* play on IOWA@MSU to go Under the total. Iowa got off to a good start, winning six straight non-conference games to start the season, but they lost to Wisconsin by a score of 72-66 in their first game in the BIG10. They play on the road at East Lansing tonight, and the Spartans are a double digit favorite. The last time these teams met, they played a high scoring game going well over the total. Prior to that they went under in five of eight meetings. Tonight's total is significantly higher than it was in any of those games, and all of those games went under the listed number for tonight's contest. Michigan State can really play defense, and that has translated into going under in four of their last five home games, and six of their last eight BIG10 games. They have also gone under in 11 of their last 13 when coming off a win. Take UNDER. GL, Jesse Schule
11-27-18 | Indiana v. Duke OVER 155 | Top | 69-90 | Win | 100 | 30 h 3 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on IND@DUKE to go Over the total. The Blue Devils will look to bounce back from their first loss of the season when they take on Indiana at home Tuesday night. Last year the Blue Devils won 91-81 at Indiana, and in the only other meeting in the past decade (2015) they won at home by a score of 94-74. The total for tonight's game is significantly lower than it was in the Hoosiers last trip to Cameron Indoor Stadium. In fact it's the lowest total the Blue Devils have seen all season. They come in averaging 91.8 points per game, but on defense they are allowing opponents to average 71.2 points per game. I guess that's what you get will a roster full of talented freshman. Indiana is lighting up the scoreboard as well, shooting 55.1 percent from the field and averaging 84.3 points per game. The over is 4-1 in Duke's last five games against BIG10 teams, and I woudn't be surprised to see another barn burner here tonight. Take OVER. GL, Jesse Schule.
11-24-18 | Canucks v. Kings OVER 5.5 | Top | 4-2 | Win | 100 | 28 h 56 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on VAN@LAK to go Over the total. The Canucks have really fallen off the hinges after starting the season strong. They have lost seven straight, and they now rank 30th in the NHL in goals against. The LA Kings are even more pathetic, owners of the worst record in the NHL. They are down to 3rd and 4th string goaltenders Cal Peterson and Peter Budaj. Peterson is a 24 year old with only four NHL starts, while Budaj is a 36 year old career backup with a GAA over 5.00 in three appearances this season. Vancouver has gone over in five of it's last six road games, and six straight versus Western Conference teams. The Over is 12-4-1 in Kings last 17 Saturday games, and I expect another sloppy game here in LA tonight. This should be like pond hockey between two young teams that can't get organized defensively. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
11-24-18 | Houston v. BYU OVER 148.5 | 76-62 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 16 m | Show
This is an 8* play on HOU@BYU to go Over the total. Both Houston and BYU have got off to a good start this season, and both teams appear to be clicking offensively. The 5-1 Cougars come in averaging 84.7 points per game on 45.9 percent shooting, while the 3-0 Cougars (Houston) are averaging 87.3 points per game on 50.7 percent shooting. BYU has a history of playing high scoring games in Provo, the over is is 16-5-1 in the Cougars (BYU) last 22 home games. BYU has also gone over in 11 of their last 16 overall, and nine of their last 11 when coming off a win. If you can get a total under 150, I like the over here. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
11-24-18 | Auburn v. Alabama UNDER 53 | Top | 21-52 | Loss | -115 | 71 h 12 m | Show |
10* | |||||||
11-23-18 | Washington v. Washington State OVER 48.5 | 28-15 | Loss | -110 | 52 h 15 m | Show
This is an 8* play on WASH@WSU to go Over. The Huskies have lost their last two road games at Oregon and at California. They face a Washington State team that comes in as winners of seven straight. During that run they have beat some of the PAC12's best teams: (Utah, Oregon and Stanford). Gardner Minshew leads the nation in passing, with almost 500 yards more than Jordan Ta'amu who sits in second. With over 800 yards, nine TDs and no INTs the last two weeks, it's fair to say that he's in a groove. The Cougars are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 home game, and 6-1 ATS in their last seven against a team with a winning record. Washington has failed to cover in seven of their last eight road games, and they are 0-7 ATS in their last seven versus PAC12 teams. I like Washington State to stay hot here at home, out-lasting the Huskies in a shootout. The total here is below 50 for the first time since 2008, and the Cougars have gone over in 10 of their last 14 overall. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
11-20-18 | Washington v. Texas A&M UNDER 148.5 | 71-67 | Win | 100 | 28 h 3 m | Show
This is an 8* play on TAM@WAS to go Under the total. I took the under in Sunday's game between the Aggies and Minnesota in Vancouver, and it cashed easily. Here is what I said prior to tipoff: "Both these teams have played high scoring games early in the season, and because of that we see an inflated total for tonight's game. The Aggies are far from a run and gun team, despite averaging over 80 points per game so far. The majority of their points came in a 98-83 win over Savannah in their season opener. The have shot just over 22 percent from beyond the arc, and 66 percent from the free throw line. Minnesota scored 104 points against a Nebraska Omaha team that can't even think about playing defense, but then won by a score of 78-69 over Utah in their last game." The Aggies scored 64 points on 41 percent shooting, and they hit just 20 percent of their three-point attempts. Now they play a Huskies team that has allowed fewer than 70 points in all three of their wins this season. I expect another low scoring game here at this venue. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
11-18-18 | Texas A&M v. Minnesota UNDER 151.5 | 64-69 | Win | 100 | 12 h 50 m | Show
This is an 8* play on MINN@TAM to go Under the total.
11-18-18 | Eagles v. Saints OVER 56 | Top | 7-48 | Loss | -103 | 16 h 43 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on PHI@NO to go Over the total.
11-17-18 | St. Louis v. Seton Hall UNDER 137.5 | 66-64 | Win | 100 | 9 h 12 m | Show
This is an 8* play on SLU@HALL to go Under the total. The Seton Hall Pirates lost a lot of their star players from last season, and they were humbled in an 80-57 loss at Nebraska their last time out. They shot just 35.6 percent from the field and 2-of-16 from beyond the arc in the loss. They will likely lean on strong defensive play as they hope to bounce back at home tonight against Saint Louis. They held Wagner to 49 points on 32 percent shooting in their home opener. Saint Louis comes in averaging just 68 points per game, and they've shot just 56.5 percent from the free throw line this season. The under is 19-6-1 in the Bilikens last 26 home games, and that's a trend I expect to hold true tonight. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
11-17-18 | USC v. UCLA OVER 55 | Top | 27-34 | Win | 100 | 108 h 20 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on USC@UCLA to go Over the total. Chip Kelly has had limited success in his first year at UCLA, but the Bruins have improved since Wilton Speight took over at quarterback. He threw for 335 yards and two TDs in a 31-28 loss at Arizona State last week, and I think he's going to put up big numbers against at home against USC. He's going to have to if the Bruins want to have any chance of winning this game, because their defense can't seem to stop anybody. UCLA ranks 111th in the country allowing opponents to average 215 rushing yards per game. When these teams met last year, the bookmakers set the total at 70.5, more than two TDs higher than the total for this game. History seems to favor the under, as each of the last four meetings between the two teams have fallen short of the total. That being said, three of the last six meetings saw more than 55 combined points. I think this game will be a shootout, with UCLA digging deep into their bag of tricks. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
11-15-18 | Toledo v. Kent State UNDER 59.5 | 56-34 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 50 m | Show
This is an 8* play on TOL@KENT to go Under the total. The last two meetings between Toledo and Kent State each fell short of 50 points, and the previous two meetings fell short of 60 points. The total for tonight's game is higher than it had been in any of those four meetings. The Under is 4-1 in the Rockets last 5 games overall, and the Under is 4-1 in the Golden Flashes last 5 games overall. Kent State ranks 137th in the country in scoring, and they have given up a ton of points as well. The Golden Flashes have been far more competitive at home though, allowing just 21 points per game. A difficult schedule may have resulted in some skewed numbers for this Kent State team. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
11-14-18 | Miami-OH v. Northern Illinois OVER 48 | 13-7 | Loss | -114 | 9 h 28 m | Show
This is an 8* play on M-OH@NIU to go Over the total. I bet on the under in last week's game in Dekalb, and the Huskies beat Toledo 38-15, just barely falling short of the number. Tonight's total is much lower, meaning a similar score would result in an over. The Redhawks are coming off a 30-28 win over Ohio, and the previous week they scored 42 points in a loss at Buffalo. Gus Ragland has thrown for 512 yards, two TDs and 1 INT on 40-of-67 passing the last two weeks. That's pretty impressive considering the opposition. I think Ragland and the RedHawks will score enough points to push this total over what appears to be quite a low number. The last three head to head meetings between these teams all saw a total over 50. Take Over, GL, Jesse Schule
11-13-18 | Georgia Tech v. Tennessee OVER 139.5 | 53-66 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 29 m | Show
This is an 8* play on GT@TENN to go Over the total. Both the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Tennessee Volunteers come into tonight's game averaging over 80 points per game on better than 50 percent shooting. The Vols will be the favorite, and they won 77-70 at Georgia Tech last season. The total for tonight's game is set below 140, and that's a little too low in my opinion. Three of the last four meetings between these teams have come up short of the total, however the number for all three of those games was set above 140. Georgia Tech has gone over in four of it's last five road games, and the over is 4-1 in their last five non conference games. I don't expect either of these two teams to be dialed in on defense so early in the season. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
11-13-18 | Wisconsin v. Xavier OVER 143.5 | Top | 77-68 | Win | 100 | 7 h 35 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on WIS@XAV to go Over the total. The Musketeers won at Wisconsin by a score of 80-70 last November, and I think we'll see another high scoring game here in Cincinnati. This time the Badgers are a road favorite, coming off an 85-63 win over Coppin State. The Musketeers are 2-0 with a couple of close wins over unranked teams. They have not looked strong defensively, ranking 243rd in the country allowing 77 points per game. They are coming off a 91-85 win over the Evansville Aces, and the over is 7-2-1 in their last 10 home games. The Badgers have gone over in four of their last five non-conference games. Tonight's total is lower than it has been in any of Xavier's last 10 games, and this early in the season I don't expect either of these two teams to be dialed in defensively. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule
11-11-18 | BC v. Hamilton UNDER 52 | Top | 8-48 | Loss | -108 | 143 h 57 m | Show |
This is a 10* GOY play on BC@HAM to go Under the total. The B.C. Lions are coming off a 26-9 home loss to Calgary, but they come into Hamilton as winners of three of their last four road games. The one loss during that span came at Hamilton however. While I like B.C. here as the underdog against a Hamilton team that has been hit hard by injuries, I think the better bet is on the total. Nine of the last 10 meetings between these teams saw a total lower than the number listed for this game. It's mid November in Hamilton, and freezing temperatures are in the forecast for Sunday. The under is 9-2-2 in BC's last 13 overall, and 11 of BC's last 16 at Hamilton failed to reach the total. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
11-11-18 | Lions v. Bears UNDER 45.5 | 22-34 | Loss | -115 | 129 h 45 m | Show
This is an 8* play on DET@CHI to go Under the total. The Lions are ... "they are who we thought they were." They have a starting quarterback with a career record of 63-70 that they have grossly overpaid for, and they are 3-5 and in last place in the NFC North. After scoring just nine points in a loss at Minnesota last week, they will be hard pressed to do any better in Chicago this week. The Bears defense has allowed a total of 19 points in back to back wins over the Bills and the Jets. The weatherman is calling for a cold and wet day in the Windy City, and the conditions might hinder the passing game. These teams have a history of playing low scoring games, failing to reach the total in five of the last six meetings in Chicago. The Bears have gone under in six of their last seven against teams with a winning record. Matthew Stafford was sacked 10 times last week, and his life isn't going to get any easier here in Chicago. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule
11-10-18 | Texas Southern v. Gonzaga OVER 155.5 | 67-104 | Win | 100 | 11 h 50 m | Show
This is an 8* play on TXSO@GONZ to go Over the total. The Bulldogs opened the season with a 120-79 win over Idaho State, and they host Texas Southern in Spokane tonight. Last year they beat Texas Southern by a score of 97-69, and I expect another high scoring game here tonight. Texas Southern can score points, they beat Baylor 72-69 in their first game. I don't like their chances of holding Gonzaga under 90, and I expect them to score at least 65. Gonzaga has gone over in 9 of it's last 12 non-conference games, while Texas Southern has gone over in 7 of its last 10 against non-conference opponents. Gonzaga hit over 58 percent from the field in their first game, and they should pile on the points here versus Texas Southern. Take Over. GL, Jesse Schule

11-03-18 | Alabama v. LSU OVER 53 | Top | 29-0 | Loss | -115 | 97 h 3 m | Show |
This is a 10* GOY play on BAMA@LSU to go Over the total. In previous meetings between Alabama and LSU, my go to move has been to take the under. That has been the right call in eight of the last nine head to head meetings, including last year's 24-10 win for Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Things have changed though, as this isn't the Alabama offense with Jalen Hurts, Jake Coker or A.J. McCarron. Since the arrival of Tua Tagovailoa, the Tide have been an offensive juggernaut. LSU has also improved on offense, coming in averaging over 30 points per game. Alabama leads the country averaging over 54 points per game, but they have only played one ranked team. That was a 45-23 win over Texas A&M. I expect them to drop at least 40 on the Tigers, and LSU is likely to get a few licks in as well. My prediction is a 42-24 win for the visitors. Take OVER. GL, Jesse Schule
11-03-18 | Utah v. Arizona State UNDER 56 | 20-38 | Loss | -109 | 94 h 33 m | Show
This is an 8* play on UTAH@ARZST to go Under the total. The Utes ran all over the UCLA Bruins in a 41-10 home win last week, but they face a much toughest test here at Arizona State. Herm Edwards already has a handful of impressive results against top tier teams this year. Arizona State upset Michigan State at home, won on the road at UCLA and covered in a 27-20 loss to the Huskies in Washington. Arizona State has won three of four home games, and have allowed opponents to average just 16 points per game at home this season. These teams have a history of playing low scoring games, and only one of the last nine head to head meetings have seen more than 55 combined points. Utah has failed to reach the total in five of it's last six when coming off a win, while the under is 4-1 in the Sun Devils last five games in November. Take Under. GL, Jesse Schule |
