Louisiana is 9-22 all-time against Conference USA teams, but six of those wins have come in the last 10 meetings. The Ragin' Cajuns are 4-1 against C-USA teams in bowls. The Gamecocks are 7-1 when scoring more than 17 points this season, with their lone loss coming at South Carolina (38-28). Jacksonville State was 1-3 when scoring 17 or fewer. |

Saturday marks the 124th clash between Army and Navy and a preview of a budding conference rivalry. Army is slated to join Navy in the American Athletic Conference next season, shedding its independent status. The Black Knights and Midshipmen will meet at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., a first-time venue for a series that began in 1890. Identical 5-6 records and recent history suggest it will be a competitive contest. Army earned a 20-17 victory in double overtime in last season's game to trim Navy's all-time edge in the series to 62-54-7. Seven of the past nine meetings have been decided by seven points or fewer. The Black Knights carry a three-game winning streak into the game but have been idle since a 28-21 home win against Coastal Carolina on Nov. 18. Army, which tweaked its style of option football before the season, rushed for 365 yards on 62 carries against the Chanticleers while attempting only two passes -- one for an interception. Tyson Riley (12 carries, 112 yards), Bryson Daily, and Ay'Jaun Marshall all ran for scores. |

Michigan v. Iowa OVER 35 | | 26-0 |
Loss | -110 | 10 h 27 m | Show |
A third consecutive victory over arch-rival Ohio State put undefeated Michigan on the brink of another College Football Playoff appearance. The No. 2 Wolverines have one more hurdle to clear in order to clinch that berth. Michigan, winner of the East Division, will face West champion and 16th-ranked Iowa for the Big Ten championship in Indianapolis on Saturday. The Wolverines (12-0) will have their leader back on the sidelines. Head coach Jim Harbaugh has completed his three-game, conference-imposed suspension related to a signal-stealing scandal. Sherrone Moore filled in ably in Harbaugh's absence. Michigan's 30-24 victory over the Buckeyes last Saturday won't resonate nearly as much, however, if the Hawkeyes upset Wolverines. These schools squared off for the championship two seasons ago. The Wolverines thrashed the Hawkeyes 42-3 before losing to Georgia in the playoff semifinals. Last season, Michigan defeated Purdue in the championship game 43-22 then lost to TCU in the semifinals. |

Oregon v. Washington UNDER 66 | Top | 31-34 |
Win | 100 | 11 h 35 m | Show |
The Ducks have allowed just 191 points this season (15.9 per game), which would be Oregon's lowest average allowed since 1966 (12.9). Only four times in the last 25 years has a Pac-12 team had a lower PPG allowed in a season (USC three times, Utah in 2019). |

New Mexico State v. Liberty UNDER 57.5 | | 35-49 |
Loss | -110 | 9 h 5 m | Show |
There should be no shortage of confidence for the Conference USA championship game. New Mexico State visits No. 24 Liberty with the conference title on the line Friday night in Lynchburg, Va. The Flames (12-0) are trying to stay in play for the Group of 5 spot in the upper tier of bowls when the College Football Playoff committee reveals its final rankings Sunday. The Aggies (10-3) will arrive with an eight-game winning streak that includes a 31-10 handling of host Auburn on Nov. 18 and Saturday's 20-17 home escape versus Jacksonville State. Ethan Albertson's 52-yard field goal as time expired won it for New Mexico State. Liberty has been on those types of highs all season. Chadwell, who's in his first at the school, wanted the initial go-around for the Flames in Conference USA to be memorable. It's the first time a team in the league has gone undefeated in the regular season since former member Houston in 2011. |

Tulane is the defending conference champion, but the Roadrunners have been surging as quarterback Frank Harris has gotten healthier. Green Wave quarterback Michael Pratt has had injury issues of his own, including a gimpy knee. But that didn't slow him down much in a 24-8 road victory against Florida Atlantic last Saturday. Pratt completed 21 of 28 passes for 252 yards and two touchdowns. He finished the game with 9,239 career passing yards, breaking Patrick Ramsey's school record. Pratt, who surpassed Ramsey's career touchdown record earlier in the season, got the latest record despite the absence of injured starting wide receivers Jha'Quan Jackson and Lawrence Keys III. |

Mississippi State ended each of the past 13 seasons in a bowl game. The Bulldogs (5-6, 1-6) need to defeat in-state rival Ole Miss (9-2, 5-2) in the Egg Bowl on Thursday night in Starkville, Miss., in order to become eligible for No. 14. The Rebels have been assured of a bowl game for the last month and a 10th victory this season would only strengthen their postseason resume. If MSU wins it will be able to hang on to the Golden Egg trophy, which it regained last season with a 24-22 victory in Oxford, Miss. Both teams are coming off non-conference victories. Ole Miss, which was routed by No. 1 Georgia 52-17 two weeks ago, started slowly against UL Monroe last week. It led just 7-3 at halftime but rolled to a 35-3 win to finish its home schedule 7-0. Jaxson Dart threw all three of his touchdown passes during a 21-0 third-quarter blitz that put the Rebels in command. Players on both teams know how a victory or defeat in the Egg Bowl can significantly alter the perception of their season -- regardless of what has preceded the rivalry game. |

Besieged this week by questions about the firing of his offensive coordinator, Penn State coach James Franklin implored reporters to address the No. 12 Nittany Lions' next opponent. Despite Franklin's efforts, the visiting Scarlet Knights (6-4, 3-4 Big Ten) received little attention from the press corps ahead of the Saturday clash with the Nittany Lions (8-2, 5-2) in University Park, Pa. Franklin, who is in his 10th season, has been feeling the heat since the Nittany Lions' 24-15 home loss to Michigan last week. The defeat exposed a sore subject that has been brewing all season: a conservative offensive approach. On Sunday, Penn State fired Mike Yurcich, who had been the offensive coordinator since 2021. Sharing the role will be tight ends coach Ty Howle and running backs coach Ja'Juan Seider. During games, both will remain in their usual roles, with Howle in the booth upstairs and Seider on the sideline, Franklin said. |

Things are so bleak for Pitt at the moment that the university's athletic director put out a statement to the Post-Gazzette on Monday saying, in part, that "this season is not up to Coach Narduzzi's or Pitt's standards" before indicating that Narduzzi will be back in 2024 to help turn around the program he helped resurrect with an ACC championship and consecutive Top 25 finishes the past two seasons. The Panthers have already clinched the worst finish in Narduzzi's nine seasons at the helm. First priority for Pitt on Thursday is finding a way to slow BC quarterback Thomas Castellanos, who ranks second in the country among quarterbacks with 806 rushing yards. He also has 10 rushing touchdowns. Veilleux, meanwhile, has minus-14 net rushing yards on the season and has more interceptions (eight) than passing touchdowns (seven). Yarnell is just 5 of 8 for 123 yards and a touchdown in limited action. The Panthers have scored a total of 44 points during their four-game losing streak. Pitt leads the all-time series 17-15. BC has won the last two matchups. |

ixth-ranked Oregon will try to move one game closer to reaching its fourth Pac-12 championship game in five seasons when it welcomes visiting Southern California to Eugene, Ore., on Saturday. The Ducks (8-1, 5-1) held firm at No. 6 in the College Football Playoff rankings released Tuesday, tops among all one-loss teams. They roll into Saturday's matchup winners of three straight, all by at least 14 points, after last week's 63-19 blowout of Cal. Quarterback Bo Nix enters the game a rising candidate for the Heisman Trophy with 2,723 yards on 235-of-301 passing with 25 touchdowns against just two interceptions. Nix has also rushed for five touchdowns to pace the nation's most prolific scoring offense at 47.4 points per game. USC is second in the nation at 45.5 ppg. The Trojans (7-3, 5-2) have scored no fewer than 32 points in any of their conference games behind reigning Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams. Williams went 27 of 35 for 312 yards with three touchdowns and rushed for another score last week vs. Washington, but the USC defense surrendered a season high in points for the second time in as many weeks in a 52-42 loss. The Trojans gave up 49 points a week prior in a one-point win at Cal and come into Oregon having allowed at least 41 points in five of their last six outings. |

With three games to play, West Virginia and Oklahoma are on the edge of the race for a berth in the Big 12 Championship Game. Even so, the teams are in many different places entering a matchup Saturday in Norman, Okla. West Virginia (6-3, 4-2 Big 12) has built some momentum in recent weeks, winning back-to-back games. It's a significant turnaround from West Virginia's two-game losing streak in October. No. 17 Oklahoma (7-2, 4-2) dropped back-to-back, one-possession games -- a 38-33 loss to Kansas on Oct. 28 and a 27-24 loss to Oklahoma State last weekend in the expected finale of the Bedlam series. Sooners quarterback Dillon Gabriel said he hopes the team will respond after falling out of the College Football Playoff race. |

An opportunity to move on from heartbreak arrives Saturday for both No. 25 Kansas State and visiting Baylor, when the Big 12 teams meet at Manhattan, Kan. Kansas State showed its quality at No. 7 Texas last week but absorbed the sting of a 33-30 overtime defeat. Baylor also went to overtime last week, falling 25-24 to host Houston. Kansas State (6-3, 4-2 Big 12) fell out of the Associated Press poll but remained in the final spot of the College Football Playoff rankings. |

Indiana might not embrace the common ground with a neighboring Big Ten rival ahead of a Saturday afternoon date at Illinois in a Big Ten crossover game. But the Hoosiers (3-6, 1-5) and Fighting Illini (4-5, 2-4) can't ignore it exists. Neither team performed to the level it had hoped and through nine games is grasping at faint hope for a postseason. But there is optimism thanks to upset wins by both programs last week. Indiana (3-6, 1-5) recorded its first conference win of the season, a 20-14 triumph over Wisconsin at home to snap a four-game losing streak. The Hoosiers will try to earn their first road victory of the season in Champaign. |

Nebraska will try to use the same formula that has led to a three-game win streak when it visits Michigan State on Saturday in East Lansing, Mich. The Cornhuskers (5-3, 3-2 Big Ten) have limited their last three opponents to a combined 30 points, most recently beating Purdue 31-14 at home to move within a game of being bowl eligible for the first time in seven years. Overall, they're allowing 18.6 points per game, sixth best in the conference and 21st nationally. A year ago, they were near the bottom of the Big Ten in most defensive categories, but first-year coach Matt Rhule still isn't satisfied. (FLM) |

Boston College and Syracuse are trending in opposite directions entering Friday night's Atlantic Coast Conference contest on the Orange's home turf. The Eagles (5-3, 2-2) have won four in a row, while the Orange (4-4, 0-4) have dropped four straight and are the only remaining winless team in ACC play. Boston College allowed at least 27 points in each of its first four games but has not yielded more than 24 in any game during its current winning streak. The Eagles are coming off a 21-14 triumph against UConn in a game in which the Eagles' Kye Robichaux ran for 112 yards and two touchdowns. Syracuse, meanwhile, is looking to recover from a brutal stretch in which it lost to Clemson, North Carolina, Florida State and Virginia Tech by a combined margin of 150-34. On the bright side, the Orange have won two straight matchups with the Eagles, including 32-23 a season ago. Friday's contest will be the Eagles' third road game in the last four outings, although the team certainly won't be getting any sympathy cards from the Orange. Syracuse has not played at home since its Sept. 30 loss against Clemson. (FLM) |

Miami (5-2, 1-2) is coming off its first win over Clemson since 2010, and the Hurricanes did it with true freshman quarterback Emory Williams making his first career start. Virginia (2-5, 1-2) is coming off its first-ever road win over a Top 10 opponent, knocking off then-No. 10 North Carolina 31-27. The Cavaliers lost their first 30 road games against Top 10 foes before last Saturday's shocker. (FLM) |

Florida State v. Wake Forest OVER 52 | Top | 41-16 |
Win | 100 | 6 h 50 m | Show |
No. 4 Florida State aims to keep its unbeaten streak rolling on Saturday in Winston-Salem, N.C., when it opposes Wake Forest. The Seminoles (7-0, 5-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) are coming off a 38-20 home win over then-No. 16 Duke. It wasn't easy though, as Florida State trailed by double digits early in the second quarter. The Seminoles outscored the Blue Devils 21-0 in the fourth to close out the win. While Florida State is aiming for a spot in the College Football Playoff, Wake Forest (4-3, 1-3) is simply trying to go bowling for the eighth consecutive season in Dave Clawson's 10 years at the helm. The Demon Deacons are coming off their first conference victory of the season, a 21-17 nail-biter against visiting Pitt. Wake Forest scored the go-ahead touchdown -- a 15-yard pass from Santino Marucci to Cameron Hite -- with seven seconds left. The win against the Panthers was Marucci's first career start at quarterback. A year ago, he played quarterback, running back and safety. He completed 12 of 21 passes vs. Pitt for 151 yards and threw two picks, but when the game hung in the balance, he made the plays necessary for the Demon Deacons. (FLM) |

Oklahoma State v. West Virginia OVER 48 | | 48-34 |
Win | 100 | 6 h 30 m | Show |
Oklahoma State and West Virginia have found success in a different way this season. The programs historically have relied on their offenses, but the Cowboys and Mountaineers are in the bottom half of the Big 12 in points per game in 2023. Despite their offensive inconsistency, both teams are 4-2 overall and 2-1 in conference play thanks to improved defenses. Points might be at more of a premium than usual when the programs meet Saturday in Morgantown, W.Va. Oklahoma State, which is coming off back-to-back wins at home against Kansas State and then-No. 23 Kansas, is 12th in the league in points per game at 26.0. However, the Cowboys are seventh in the league in fewest points allowed at 24.7. Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy said the key against West Virginia's offense will be not letting Mountaineers quarterback Garrett Greene make plays with his legs. |

Air Force v. Navy UNDER 34 | Top | 17-6 |
Win | 100 | 2 h 9 m | Show |
If a rivalry game with Commander-in-Chief's Trophy implications wasn't enough to get Air Force fired up, perhaps a spot in the national rankings will do the trick. The No. 22 Falcons find themselves among the top 25 teams in the country for the first time since 2019, and they will look to keep climbing on Saturday when they face Navy in Annapolis, Md. Air Force (6-0) moved into the rankings thanks to a 34-27 victory over Wyoming last weekend. The Falcons leaned on their rushing attack, amassing 356 yards on the ground, including a team-high 111 from quarterback Zac Larrier. Larrier, however, injured his knee late in the game and was ruled out for the Navy game. Backup Jensen Jones will take over at quarterback. Although the win pushed Air Force into the national spotlight, coach Troy Calhoun knows his team can't concern itself with the extra attention it's about to receive. |

Temple’s defense isn’t stopping a thing. SMU’s offense hasn’t been as good as expected, but the defense has been a rock, TCU is the only team to get past 400 yards against it |

Texas A&M brings dynamic defense to No. 19 Tennessee As Week 7 arrives for Southeastern Conference teams, Texas A&M and No. 19 Tennessee have reached the must-win portion of their schedules. Meeting for the first time since 2020 and only the fifth time overall, the Aggies (4-2, 2-1) will visit the Volunteers (4-1, 1-1) on Saturday in Knoxville, Tenn. Coming off a bye week following a 41-20 home blowout of South Carolina on Sept. 30, Tennessee has little margin for error as Texas A&M makes just its second trip to Rocky Top. The win over the Gamecocks was tainted by the season-ending loss of reliable receiver Bru McCoy, who made a crucial catch before the last-second, game-winning field goal in last year's 52-49 win over No. 3 Alabama. However, Volunteers coach Josh Heupel said defense will be the key against the Aggies. Tennessee and Texas A&M rank 1-2 in the country in average sacks per game, with the Vols topping the stat with 22 in five outings (4.4 per game) while the Aggies have 26 in six (4.3). |

Iowa State v. Cincinnati OVER 42 | Top | 30-10 |
Loss | -115 | 5 h 9 m | Show |
Football history will be made Saturday when Iowa State travels to Cincinnati for the first meeting between the two programs. You can thank the Bearcats' admittance into the Big 12 for the inaugural clash between teams that both have seen their ups and downs this season. Iowa State (3-3, 2-1) enters with a little momentum following a 27-14 home victory over TCU last Saturday. The Cyclones will attempt to win consecutive games for the first time this season. Iowa State has struggled on offense, averaging just 323 yards and 21.8 points per game. Rocco Becht has thrown for 1,223 yards and 10 touchdowns, with five interceptions. He completed 16 of 28 passes for 138 yards and a score in the win against TCU. The Cyclones rank fifth in the Big 12 in scoring defense and are coming off a four-interception performance against the Horned Frogs. |

Kansas State v. Oklahoma State UNDER 53.5 | Top | 21-29 |
Win | 100 | 15 h 25 m | Show |
Oklahoma State has historically handled Kansas State at home in football. That history will be put to the test Friday night as the Wildcats visit the Cowboys in Stillwater, Okla. The Cowboys have won seven of the past eight home meetings since 2003, when they broke a nine-game overall losing streak to the Wildcats. Oklahoma State (2-2, 0-1 Big 12) is on a two-game skid, losing 33-7 at home to South Alabama on Sept. 16 and 34-27 at Iowa State in its most recent game on Sept. 23. They are struggling on both sides of the ball, ranked 13th in the 14-team conference in scoring and 12th in total offense. The Cowboys are also ninth in scoring defense and 11th in total defense. Against Iowa State, OSU allowed Rocco Becht to pass for 348 yards and three touchdowns. The Cyclones entered that contest averaging just 16.7 points per game, the worst among Power 5 schools. |

BYU will aim to bounce back from a 38-27 loss at Kansas in its Big 12 opener. After three nonconference victories, including a 38-31 win at Arkansas, BYU became the latest team to be unable to slow the Jayhawks' high-powered attack. The Cougars led 17-14 at halftime but gave up the advantage only 22 seconds into the second half on a pick-six before yielding lengthy scoring drives on Kansas' first three offensive possessions of the half. BYU quarterback Kedon Slovis completed 30 of 51 passes for 357 yards with two scores and two interceptions. The Cougars (3-1, 0-1 Big 12) got nothing from their ground game (22 attempts, 9 yards) and allowed 6 yards per carry to the Jayhawks. Slovis has thrown for 1,017 yards with eight touchdowns and three interceptions in four games, relying on the trio of Chase Roberts, Isaac Rex and Darius Lassiter. They have a combined 52 catches and five scores. |

Louisville v. NC State UNDER 56 | | 13-10 |
Win | 100 | 3 h 27 m | Show |
NC State (3-1, 1-0) might need to get its offense cranked up if it intends to keep up with the Cardinals. The arrival of quarterback Brennan Armstrong to the Wolfpack was supposed to be accompanied by a dynamic offense. But that hasn't panned out. The team punted eight times last week at Virginia. |

North Carolina State quarterback Brennan Armstrong will be in a special place in the team's Atlantic Coast Conference opener Friday night. He will be back in Charlottesville, Va., where he played the last five seasons for Virginia. Armstrong has shown few signs of peeking ahead. But now it's game week for his return. Armstrong started 30 games for Virginia the past three seasons. This year, he still appears to be in adjustment mode with NC State (2-1), though he was 27 for 32 with a touchdown in Saturday's 45-7 home trouncing of Virginia Military Institute. |

Push | 0 | 4 h 37 m | Show |
Purdue quarterback Hudson Card committed four turnovers (three fumbles) last week in a 15-point loss at Ross-Ade Stadium to Syracuse. Walters said he's not considering a change at that position. Card, who passed for 323 yards in the loss to the Orange, knows killing the giveaways is a must for Purdue to contend against the Badgers and their Big Ten brethren. Until I know I can trust him for consistency I won't lean on Purdue to put up points. |

Win | 100 | 14 h 20 m | Show |
It's hard to build a case that 28-point underdog Nevada can give visiting Kansas a legitimate test on Saturday night, even if the Jayhawks' depth chart suggests otherwise. Starting cornerback Cobee Bryant and defensive end Austin Booker must sit out the first half of their game in Reno after being ejected from last week's 34-23 win over Illinois for targeting penalties. In addition, quarterback Jalon Daniels, running back Devin Neal and wide receiver Luke Grimm practiced sparingly on Sunday, according to coach Lance Leipold. The trio sustained injuries against Illinois, although Leipold said Daniels was able to do more in practice than the other two. |

Miami-OH v. Cincinnati UNDER 44 | Top | 31-24 |
Loss | -110 | 11 h 53 m | Show |
Cincinnati is led by former Arizona State (2022) and Florida (2018-21) quarterback Emory Jones. He has a completion percentage of 75.5 for 470 yards with seven touchdowns and an interception. Cincinnati averages 46.5 points per game, while Miami averages just 22.0. The RedHawks are coming off an exhausting 41-28 road win at UMass on Saturday, enduring 5 hours, 35 minutes of lightning-related delays. The game was scheduled to begin at 3:32 p.m. It ended at 12:28 a.m. Sunday. This total couldn't be begging the public more to take the over, we're not falling for that. |

Louisville v. Indiana UNDER 50.5 | Top | 21-14 |
Win | 100 | 4 h 8 m | Show |
It's no surprise to see a Jeff Brohm-coached team scoring a lot of points. His Louisville squad is lighting up the scoreboard, following up a 39-34 season-opening win at Georgia Tech on Sept. 1 by blanking FCS opponent Murray State 56-0 on Sept. 7. The Cardinals (2-0) step up in class on Saturday with a trip to Indianapolis for a non-conference matchup with Indiana (1-1). The Hoosiers' defense has looked very good in holding No. 6 Ohio State to 23 points and stifling FCS foe Indiana State on Sept. 8. Louisville has shown a good run-pass balance so far. Cal transfer Jack Plummer threw for 247 yards and a touchdown against Murray State, while running back Jawhar Jordan piled up 135 yards and a pair of scores on just seven carries. Navy v. Memphis OVER 46 | Top | 24-28 |
Win | 100 | 16 h 5 m | Show |
Memphis coaches said they've seen changes to the offense under Newberry, which means there's yet another wrinkle to prepare when playing Navy. Quarterback Tai Lavatai attempted 13 passes in Saturday's 24-0 win over Wagner, completing eight for 161 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed 16 times for 65 yards. As a team, the Midshipmen ran the ball 44 times for 245 yards. Silverfield has repeatedly talked about Memphis' depth this season, and that'll be a major factor Thursday (especially on the defensive line). Defensive coordinator Matt Barnes is in his second season with the Tigers and saw the Navy offense last season in Annapolis, so there's some familiarity. That game ended in a 37-13 blowout win for Memphis. |
