Alabama Crimson Tide (6-0) vs. Tennessee Volunteers (5-1)

The Vols fell behind by more than two touchdowns for the third straight game  against the Aggies last week but couldn’t come back and win as they had the previous two weeks. The Crimson Tide have won by at least 19 points in five of their six wins and are a 13 point favorite in this game. Last year against the eventual National Champions, the Vols played them tough before finally losing by just five points. Alabama has won nine straight meetings between these schools with only one other game being closer than a 14 point win for the Tide, while in six of the games Alabama won by at least 20 points.

This would explain why 56% of the public think Alabama will cover as a 13 point favorite according to Covers.com Consensus and Analysis and with Tennessee’s star running back Jalen Hurd questionable for the game, they might be right. They are even more confident the total will go over 57 as 65% of them are backing the over.
