The Wildcats have won nine of their last 10 versus Utah, but the one loss came in their last game at Salt Lake City. The Utes defeated Arizona by a score of 70-64 at home in February of 2016. Utah is 6-0 at home so far this season, and they covered the spread in five of those six wins. Arizona has failed to cover in four of it’s last five road games, and eight of it’s last nine versus teams with a winning record. The Wildcats are coming off a huge 84-78 home win over #3 ranked Arizona State, setting them up for a classic emotional let down here on the road. The Utes only suffered one home loss in the PAC12 last year, and that was an 83-82 defeat to #3 ranked UCLA. While Arizona is in a groove offensively, the Utes are far superior on defense. They have allowed opponents to average just over 61 points on just over 35 percent shooting at home this season. Utah has won back to back road games to go 2-0 in conference play, and I expect the Utes to give Arizona fits here in Salt Lake City.
