They have an outstanding defense that has held nine opponents to less than 20 points scoring and they average giving up just 14.3 points a game.
Alabama keeps rolling over opponents winning their 11th straight game without a loss. They have won their last eight games by double digits while their amazing defense has given up an average of six points in their last five wins and just six points total in their last three. Their well balanced offense is led by quarterback Jalen Hurts who has thrown 19 touchdowns and is also the second leading rusher on the team with over 800 yards and a team leading 11 rushing touchdowns.
The oddsmakers have made Alabama a 17 point home favorite and set the total at 47. According to Covers.com Consensus Analysis 59% of the public feel the line is too high and are backing Auburn despite the fact Alabama has covered the spread in eight of the nine games they were a 30 point favorite or less.
Alabama has won four of the last five meetings between these schools winning by double digits each time.
