Kansas State vs UCLA (Cactus Bowl) Free Pick December 26, 2017.
Kansas State Wildcats vs UCLA Bruins Free Pick December 26, 2017.
The Bruins will have a new head coach next season, and everyone is excited to see what Chip Kelly can do at UCLA. In the mean time, it will be interim coach and offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch calling the plays for the Bruins bowl game against Kansas State. The Wildcats finished the season strong with wins over Oklahoma State and Iowa State. Freshman quarterback Skyler Thompson threw four TD passes with no INTs while completing over 70 percent of his passes in those games. He also ran for over 100 yards and scored a pair of rushing TDs. Kansas State won their bowl game last year, beating Texas A&M 33-28 in the Texas Bowl. They should have little trouble scoring points on the Bruins 118th ranked defense. Only one team in Division 1 allowed more rushing yards this season than UCLA. The Bruins allowed opponents to average over 282 yards per game, and surrendered 31 rushing TDs. This seems to set up a favorable matchup for Bill Snyder and the Cats.
Take KSU.
