The Angle: The Oklahoma Sooners have the No. 1 ranked defense in the nation, but they gave up 34 points in a loss to Ole Miss last week and here they'll face one of the top offenses in college football, wjth the Vols second nationally in points per game at 45.6, and third in total offense (510.1 yards per game).

The Sooners have scored a total of just 58 points over a 1-2 stretch, and I don't think they'll be able to keep up with Tennessee.

The Angle: This looks like a potential letdown spot for Auburn after a big win at Arkansas last week a win that ended a four-game losing streak. The Kentucky Wildcats would love to end a four-game skid of their own this week, but while that might be a tall order, I like them to cover this number, especially with Auburn 0-2 ATS as favorites.

The Trend(s): The Colorado Buffaloes have won their last two games as underdogs of a touchdown or less outright.

Arizona has the advantage of coming off its bye week, but the Wildcats are 0-2 on the road this season, losing 39-14 getting 3½ points at Iowa State and 31-28 as a two-point favorite at Houston last time out.

Play on: COLORADO (5%). 

5% SEC Total of the Year MEGA MAX BET

The Angle: Vanderbilt managed just 13 points on 265 yards of offense last week but still pulled out a gritty win, thanks to their defense holding Mizzou to 10 points on 370 yards. With Texas QB Arch Manning banged up with a concussion, expect Vanderbilt’s defense to shine again. Texas has been stingy defensively as well, holding six of eight opponents to 14 points or fewer, setting up a potential defensive slugfest.
