Taking JACKSONVILLE. This game was up early and I even mentioned it on my LIVE Show, Look Ahead Lines Sunday night. This is another bye-week situation I really like. Jacksonville had a miserable trip to London, and now the Jaguars get a chance to reset, regroup, get healthy, and put that disaster behind them. Two weeks to fix what went wrong, two weeks to prepare, and now they get an Indianapolis team that looks like it's coming apart at the seams. The Colts are in disarray, and this is not the opponent you want to face when a rested Jacksonville team is looking to make a statement. I expect a much sharper Jaguars team on both sides of the football, and I love backing a team with something to prove coming off the bye against a struggling division rival. The market has already moved three points in our favor. We're laying seven, everybody else is laying ten. On a side note - I am now 7-19 on the year with NFL CLV of 3 or more points. Heck we had Jags -2.5 vs Philly, closed at 8.5. Seattle -135 vs Washington Closed -9.. We have it today with Washington -3.5 vs the Eagles now 6. Nothing is guaranteed in sports betting. 4* Money Maker JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Taking WASHINGTON.This is all about the scheduling spot for me. Give me the Commanders coming off a bye week, rested, healthy, and with two weeks to prepare for a division rival. Meanwhile, Philadelphia is coming off a physical Monday night loss to Dallas, and now the Eagles have to turn around on a short week and hit the road against a Washington team that's been sitting home waiting for them. That's a huge difference! The Eagles are already banged up, and instead of getting extra time to recover, they're dealing with a short turnaround against a fresh opponent. Washington has the advantage in preparation, recovery, and game planning. And let's not forget, these are division rivals. Washington knows Philadelphia, and getting the Eagles in this spot is exactly what I want. One team gets extra rest and preparation. The other gets a short week, injuries, and a road division game. 4* Money Maker WASHINGTON  -----  This line is now 6 -- I thought Washington would win by a TD before. I can say I think this is a double digit win or more win. I don't think Philly HC makes it through the end of the year ---

Taking DETROIT. Give me the Lions at home today. I look at Detroit last week and see a team that left way too many opportunities on the field. Now, I had them. A big sloppy push on -3. Missed chances, missed execution, and a game where the Lions could have done a whole lot more offensively. 2 for 5 in the red zone. Terrible. I expect a much cleaner performance this week. And on the other side, what exactly am I supposed to like about this Minnesota offense? The Vikings have struggled to consistently move the football, sustain drives, and put points on the board. Vikings are a 6-0 underdog. Want to know why? They are 29th in total offense. Total fugazi record. That's a major problem when you're facing a Detroit team capable of putting together long scoring drives and controlling the football game. I don't trust Minnesota to trade scores with the Lions, and I certainly don't trust the Vikings to play from behind. Detroit doesn't need to be perfect here. Just clean up last week's mistakes, finish drives, and force Minnesota to chase points. I see Detroit winning this game by more than a touchdown, probably 10+ points. 4* Money Maker DETROIT LIONS

Taking the BILLS. Give me Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills laying a field goal against Baltimore. And the first thing I love about this game is the scheduling spot. BUFFALO IS COMING OFF A BYE WEEK! Extra rest, extra preparation, extra time to get healthy, and extra time to figure out how to attack this Ravens defense. Meanwhile, look at Baltimore. This is a Ravens team that's struggling right now. They've dropped two straight, and most recently got absolutely embarrassed at home by Cincinnati, 35-13. That's not exactly the kind of performance that inspires confidence heading into Buffalo to face Josh Allen and the NFL's highest-scoring offense. And let's talk about Lamar Jackson. Maybe Lamar plays. Maybe he doesn't. But either way, this is not an ideal situation for Baltimore. He's been dealing with an ankle injury and has missed time. Even if he's cleared to play, are we automatically supposed to believe he's 100 percent healthy? That he can move around, escape pressure, and make all those explosive plays with his legs like nothing happened? That's a big assumption. I liked this game before the Ravens got blitzed by Cincy. I still like it today. 5* Best Bet BUFFALO BILLS
