In Chicago’s first game, they were up 14-10 over Houston at halftime but their offense was shutout in the second half by Houston’s defense. Cutler was harassed all day and was sacked five times while he had no completions in the third quarter. It was downhill for the Bears as soon as Cutler threw an interception just 53 seconds into the second half and the Bears were held scoreless the rest of the game. in their game last week against the Eagles, Cutler was sacked three more times and Chicago couldn’t stop the Eagles when they had the ball. They turned the ball over three times in the second half and were outscored 20-7 by Philadelphia. Dallas lost to the Giants their first game when Manning led them to a TD wit about six minutes left in the game but rookie QB Prescott was impressive leading Dallas to scores in their first 3 possessions of the game but they were all field goals. In the second game it was back and forth all game until the Cowboys scored the winning TD wit about 5 minutes left in the game. Prescott had another good game and the defense came up with a pick in their end zone which led to their winning score. The oddsmakers have Dallas as a 7.5 point favorite and 63% of the public believe that shouldn’t be a problem for them while the total is 44.5 with the public almost split 50-50 according to Covers.com consensus analysis.
