Cowboys vs. Browns Betting Preview 11/06/16 – NFL Predictions
Cowboys vs. Browns Betting Preview
After losing their opening game to the Giants by one point, the Cowboys have reeled off six straight wins and might be playing the best football in the NFL. They have won by double digits in three of their last five games and they are doing it on both sides of the ball. Their offense is led by two rookies. Running back Ezekiel Elliot is the number one rusher in the league with 799 yards and Dallas is the number one rushing team averaging almost 165 yards a game.
Leading their offense is rookie quarterback Dak Prescott who doesn’t have spectacular numbers but has shown great leadership. Their defense was supposed to be a problem but they are ranked ninth in total defense and seventh in scoring as they have given up an average of 18.6 points a game.
The Browns on the other hand haven’t won a game and last week is a perfect example of how their season is going. Their defense which is the worst in total yards allowed and 30th in points allowed (29.8 points a game) blew a 20-7 lead against the Jets. It was the third game this year that Cleveland couldn’t hold a lead when they were winning in the third quarter.
The oddsmakers have the Cowboys a 7.5 point favorite and set the total at 48.5. According to Covers.com Consensus Analysis 69% of the public don’t like Cleveland’s chances and are backing the Cowboys while 59% believe the total will go over.
