Detroit vs Cleveland Free Pick March 5, 2018

The Cleveland Cavaliers are a seven point home favorite Monday versus the Pistons, despite the fact that they have lost three of four games on their current home stand. The Cavs were blown out by Denver on Saturday, losing 126-117. They also lost center Tristan Thompson who sprained his ankle in the loss to Denver, and he’s expected to miss several games. With no Love or Thompson, the last man standing is Larry Nance Jr., who is playing at less than 100 percent after hyper extending his knee against the Nuggets. The Pistons won the last meeting between these two teams by a score of 125-114 back in January. Andre Drummond was dominant in that game, scoring 21 points and pulling in 22 rebounds. He and Blake Griffin should be able to have their way here against a banged up Cleveland front court. I’ll take the Pistons plus the points, and I wouldn’t at all be surprised if Detroit wins this game outright.

Take DET.
