Eagles vs. Giants Betting Preview

The Eagles once promising season has hit a snag after winning their first three games. Philadelphia has lost three of their last four games and the losses have been by a combined 14 points. Their offense led by quarterback Carson Wentz averaged almost 31 points in their first three games but haven’t scored more than 23 points in any of their last four. Wentz threw five touchdown passes without an interception in his first three games but threw just four touchdowns and 3 interceptions in the last four. Finally their defense held their first three opponents below 20 points but then gave up over 20 points in each of their next four games.

Impressive Rookies: Dak Prescott vs. Carson Wentz: Who’s better?

NY has a modest two game winning streak after losing three in a row. To be fair, two of the losses were on the road in Minnesota and in Green Bay. The problem has been their offense which is ranked 24th overall and 26th in points scored (19 points a game). Manning is ranked 10th with almost 2000 passing yards but has thrown just eight touchdown passes.

The oddsmakers have the Giants as a small 2.5 point home favorite and set the total at 43. According to Covers.com Consensus Analysis the public is almost split wit 55% behind the Eagles but a whopping 74% feel this will be an offensive battle and are behind the over.

The Eagles won the last four games these teams played each other.
