I have faded Duke in both their games since Zion Williamson’s return, and while that probably sounds crazy to most people, it’s actually worked out. Here is what I said before last night’s 74-73 win over the Tar Heels: “The Duke Blue Devils couldn’t ask for a better result last night. Zion Williamson returned to action, and he went off for 29 points on 13-of-13 shooting. Lost in all the hype is the fact that it was actually a close game, with Syracuse trailing by just four points halfway through the second half. The Tar Heels have already had their way with Duke twice this season, and now they are an underdog here in the conference tournament.” Now they are an 8.5 point favorite against a Seminoles team that just steamrolled Virginia, and punters can’t get their money on Duke fast enough. You know The Iceman is going to continue to fade the “Hype Train”.
