Football Predictions: 5 Reasons Why Dallas Can Upset Green Bay in Week 6

When Tony Romo was injured in a pre-season game at Seattle, most people expected this season to be a write off for the Cowboys. The emergence of Dak Prescott and the strong play of rookie Ezekiel Elliot has Dallas sitting at 4-1 heading into Sunday’s game at Green Bay. The Packers have won three of four, but have really underachieved offensively. Here are 5 Reasons why Dallas can Upset Green Bay at Lambeau in Week 6:

1. Aaron Rodgers

Prior to last October, Aaron Rodgers hadn’t thrown an interception at home in almost three seasons. He threw a staggering 586 passes without a single pick. He’s since been picked off six times in eight home games. Last week he completed just 51 percent of his passes for 256 yards and a pair of TDs while throwing two picks.

2. Injuries

The Packers struggling passing game might not get much help on the ground this week, with Eddie Lacy nursing an ankle injury, and James Starks suffering from a knee injury.

3. Ezekiel Elliot

The Packers defense leads the NFL, allowing just two yards per carry in four games. Those stats are very skewed, having faced four teams that all rank in the bottom third in the league in rushing. Jacksonville ranks dead last, and the Vikings rank 30th. Don’t be afraid to take Elliot in your fantasy lineups this week.

4. Packers Secondary

The Packers have looked vulnerable defending the pass, and they have some key injuries on defense. Sam Shields, Damarious Randall and Chris Banjo are all banged up. Mathew Stafford lit them up for 385 yards and three TDs in Week 3.

5. Cole Beasely

There is incredible chemistry between Beasely and Prescott, and the 27 year old wideout has been targeted 33 times, coming up with 27 catches for 332 yards and a TD. He’s a guy you might want to have in your fantasy lineup this week.
