The Marlins have split the first two games in this home series versus the Mets, and they got their butts handed to them in an 8-0 loss last night. I like the Fish to bounce back with a win in the rubber match Thursday.

The Fish hand the ball to Jose Urena, who is having a fine season. He’s 6-2 with a 3.33 ERA in nine starts and six relief appearances. He’s 5-0 over his last seven starts, and during that span he’s allowed three runs or less five times.

Seth Lugo will toe the slab for the Mets, and he’s making just his fourth start of the season. The 27 year old allowed four runs on seven hits over 5 2/3 innings in an 11-4 win at Pittsburgh his last time out. He’s put plenty of men on base, walking seven and giving up 20 hits over 19 1/3 innings in his three appearances.

The Marlins have won 14 of their last 18 home games, and they are 4-0 in Urena’s last four home starts.
