They can’t afford to leave any points on the table, and they might be catching the Anaheim Ducks at a good time. The Ducks have won two of three since leading scorer Ryan Getzlaf returned to the lineup, but the 33 year old has not registered a point in those games. The Ducks are just 3-11 in their last 14 home game, while the Habs are 6-1 in their last 7 games as a road favorite. Carey Price gets the night off Thursday in San Jose, which allows him to come in for a more favorable start against Anaheim. Price is 3-0 in his last three road starts, allowing a total of four goals in those games. He allowed one goal in a win over the Ducks earlier this season.
