Nationals vs Yankees Free Pick June 13, 2018
The Nationals lost two of three in a home series versus San Francisco, and it won’t get any easier tonight in the Bronx. The Yankees come into tonight’s game as winners of nine of their last 11 overall.
C.C. Sabathia will toe the slab for New York, and he’s turned back the clock in 2018. The 37 year old is 3-1 with a 3.59 ERA in 11 starts, and he’s undefeated at home. The Yankees are 19-7 in his last 26 starts in New York.
The Nats hand the ball to Tanner Roark, who has just one win in his last seven starts. Roark (3-6, 3.56 ERA) allowed a pair of runs on six hits in six innings in a home win over Tampa Bay his last time out. Prior to that he had surrendered six runs on nine hits in seven innings in back to back losses at Atlanta.
The Yankees have won nine of their last 11 versus the National League, and six of their last seven versus a right-handed starter.
Take NYY.
