Nebraska vs. Ohio State Betting Preview

Two of the better teams in the Big 10 face off in Ohio State. Both Nebraska and Ohio St have 7-1 records and are chasing Michigan who is 8-0. Nebraska lost their first game last week when they were beaten in OT at Wisconsin (watch video) and Ohio State suffered their only loss two weeks ago at Penn St.

The Buckeyes had averaged over 53 points in their first five games but haven’t scored more than 30 points in their last three games. The Cornhuskers have been very steady averaging 32 points a game while their defense has held seven of their eight opponents to 23 points or less.

Although both teams are 7-1 the oddsmakers have made the Buckeyes a 17 point favorite and set the total at 52.5. It seems the public are firm believers in the Buckeyes because according to Covers.com Consensus Analysis 63% are squarely behind them while a whopping 91% love the offenses to take this game over.

Ohio St has played a harder schedule and this will be by far the the toughest test for Nebraska up until this point in the season.
