New York vs Vancouver Free Pick February 28, 2018
The New York Rangers didn’t like the way their season was going, so they dumped half of their starting lineup at the trade deadline. Big names such as Rick Nash and team Captain Ryan McDonagh have left town, and no real names of any significance have come in return. The Rangers did what they needed to do for their future, but that doesn’t bode well as far as winning games for the remainder of the season. The Canucks are also a team that is in the middle of a rebuild, but they are a lot closer to where they want to be. Bock Boeser and Bo Horvat are two of the league’s up and coming stars, and veterans Daniel and Henrik Sedin can still be effective on the power play. Vancouver is ranked 7th in the NHL converting on 21.2 percent of it’s power play chances. The Canucks have an opportunity to give the home town fans something to cheer about tonight, and I don’t think the Rangers have much fight left in them.
Take VAN.
