Their defense has also improved and have held five of their last seven opponents to 20 points or less. their offense is led by quarterback Kirk Cousins who has thrown for over 3000 yards and 17 touchdowns. In three of his last four games he has thrown for over 300 yards in each as well as eight touchdowns with just one interception. Their defense is more of a bend don’t break style and gives up an average of 23.3 points a game.
The cowboys are the hottest team in the league and have won nine straight games since losing on opening day. They are led by rookie quarterback Dak Prescott who has thrown 17 touchdowns and just two interceptions and rookie running back Ezekiel Elliot who leads the league in rushing. The Cowboys are ranked third in scoring (28.5 points a game) and are ranked second in the league running the ball. Their defense has been superb allowing opponents to score just 23 points or less in nine of their 10 games.
The oddsmakers have made Dallas a 7.5 point favorite and set the total at 51. According to Covers.com Consensus Analysis 60% of the public feel Dallas’ run might come to an end and are backing the Redskins while a whopping 71% are sure that points will be a dime a dozen and think the total will go over.
Dallas has won six of their last nine Thanksgiving Day games.
