My money is on the OVER 9 in Thursday's AL Central showdown between the White Sox and Indians. These two have combined for 11 runs in each of the first two games in the series. Both offenses have showed out with Cleveland scoring 11 in the opener and Chicago putting up 8 runs yesterday. Indians should be able to put up a decent number against Dylan Cease and I like the White Sox to add a few to push us over the mark. BET THE OVER 9!

My money is on the Astros to cash in an easy win at home against the A's. Houston just swept their 4-game series at home against Seattle over the weekend. They won the finale 21-1 on Sunday, the third time in the series they scored at least 7 runs. I look for them to stay hot at the plate against the struggling Michael Fiers, who has a 4.02 ERA and 1.788 WHIP in his last 3 starts. Astros will have Zack Greinke on the mound and he's 14-5 with a 3.24 ERA and 1.025 WHIP in 29 starts. Greinke is also 7-2 with a 3.02 ERA in 13 starts vs the A's in his career. Bet the Astros -158!

Even more so when you factor in how well the Pirates have been playing to close out the year. Pittsburgh has came out on top in 9 of their last 12 games. Bet the Pirates -150!

My money is on the Braves to cash in a win at home against the White Sox. Chicago comes in having lost 3 straight as they finished up a 7-game homestand. White Sox are a good team to fade after playing a bunch at home, as they are just 9-29 in their last 38 after playing 6 or more at home. Braves are off a 9-4 win at Toronto Wednesday and have gone 21-8 in their last 29 after scoring 8 or more runs. Atlanta is also 15-4 in Max Fried's last 19 starts after a win. Bet the Braves -185!

My money is on the A's to cash in a win against the Cubs in Chicago. I just think this is a good price and spot to back Oakland. Milwaukee has to be a pissed off bunch after getting swept by the Cubs over the weekend and the Pirates are the perfect team to get back on track against. Pittsburgh has been on an absolute free-fall since the All-Star break, rivaling the likes of the Tigers, Marlins and Orioles for worst team in the league status. Milwaukee's offense is too good to be producing as poorly as they have and I could see them exploding in this one. Pirates are allowing 5.9 runs/game at home and 7.3 runs/game in their last 7. Bet the Brewers -127!

My money is on Detroit to cash in a win and big payout as a big road dog against the Rangers. Texas has already won the series having taken the first two games and I could see them struggling to put forth their best effort in the finale, especially knowing that they are headed to Cleveland for a big series with the red-hot Indians on Monday. I also think it's worth fading Rangers starter Pedro Payano at this price. Payano made his big league debut as a starter on 7/28 and wasn't great. I think he struggles here. Bet the Tigers +155!
