11-26-19 | Canisius +7.5 v. Illinois-Chicago | Top | 94-64 | Win | 100 | 12 h 47 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Canisius +7½ -105 The Canisius Golden Griffins (2-2) are looking for their first road win of the season. If they’ll be successful, they’ll have to take down the Illinois-Chicago Flames (2-4). After starting the year with a pair of losses on the road to Brown and Albany, the Golden Griffins recovered nicely with two-straight wins over Bucknell and St. Bonaventure. Canisius only won by two, but they were able to score 83 on Bucknell. On average, the Golden Griffins are scoring 67.3 points while allowing 74 points per game. The majority of scoring for Canisius comes down to guard Malik Johnson. While hitting 36.4% of his threes and shooting 45.3% from the field, Johnson is averaging 18.8 points, six rebounds, 4.3 assists, and three steals per game. After barely beating Olivet Nazarene in the season opener, UIC dropped four of their next five contests. Of their four losses, only a 72-68 defeat to Mercer was within nine points. UIC’s worst defeat came in a 92-46 contest against #14 Memphis. On average, the Flames are scoring 60.8 points while allowing 71.7 points per game. Only three UIC players are scoring more than seven points per game. Tarkus Ferguson leads all players with his 14.3 points per game.

50* Powerhouse Play on William & Mary -6½ -109 The Morehead State Eagles (4-2) and William & Mary Tribe (4-2) share identical records through six games. Tonight, they’ll face off against one another. After kicking off the season with four-straight wins, Morehead State has now lost two in a row. In a pair of blowouts, the Eagles were held to 52 points against Missouri and 50 points against Butler. Morehead State has allowed 68 points or more in half their games. On average, the Eagles are scoring 72.8 points while allowing 62.7 points per game. Only two Morehead State players are scoring double-digit points per game. While Jordan Walker is averaging 13 points and James Baker is averaging 12.2 points per game, neither player is hitting more than 24.3% of their three-point attempts. William & Mary started the season the same exact way Morehead State did; four wins followed by two losses. However, five of the Tribe’s first six games were on the road. In their lone home game played thus far, William & Mary defeated Hampton by a score of 78-65. On average, the Tribe are scoring 71.2 points while allowing 71 points per game. A pair of forwards dominate the stat lines for the Tribe. Forward Nathan Knight is averaging 18.5 points and 10 rebounds per game, and forwards Andy Van Vliet is averaging 16 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.
11-26-19 | Wichita State -2.5 v. South Carolina | 70-47 | Win | 100 | 9 h 27 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Wichita State -2½ -110 The Wichita State Shockers (5-0) and South Carolina Gamecocks (4-1) only have a single loss between them. Today, they’ll go head to head on South Carolina’s home floor. The Shockers have gotten off to a perfect start through five games while taking down the likes of Texas Southern. Offensively, Wichita State has scored at least 68 points in every game. Defensively, Wichita State has allowed 63 points or fewer in each game. On average, the Shockers are scoring 76.4 points while allowing 58 points per game. The Shockers like to share the load on offense with five players scoring at least 10 points per game. Forward Trey Wade is averaging 12 points and eight rebounds per game. Jamarius Burton is hitting 66.7% of his three-point attempts while scoring 11.8 points per game. The only blemish on the South Carolina schedule is a loss to Boston University. Apart from that 78-70 defeat, the Gamecocks have won three blowouts and a five-point game against Gardner-Webb. On average, the Gamecocks are scoring 75.4 points while allowing 59.4 points per game. South Carolina is led by guard A.J. Lawson. On the season, Lawson is averaging 17.2 points, four rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game. Only two other Gamecocks are scoring at least 10 points per game.
11-25-19 | BYU v. UCLA +1 | 78-63 | Loss | -109 | 15 h 24 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on UCLA +1 -109 Coming off their first defeat of the season, the UCLA Bruins (4-1) are aiming to get back on track as they host the BYU Cougars (3-2) this evening. The Cougars are set for their third-straight road game after dropping a 72-68 overtime contest against Boise State in their most recent contest. Every BYU game has been close since a comfortable win over CSU Fullerton in the season opener. Every other game has been decided by five points or fewer. On average, the Cougars are scoring 71 points while allowing 68 points per game. While Jake Toolson is scoring 16 points per game, the Cougars only have two other players scoring more than eight points per contest. TJ Haws and Alex Barcello are scoring 12 and 11.2 points per game, respectively. After a four-point win over Long Beach State in the season opener, the Bruins didn’t have any trouble until running into the Hofstra Pride several nights ago. UCLA suffered a 10-point loss, but they’re outscoring their opponents by nearly 10 points per contest. On average, the Bruins are scoring 74.2 points while allowing 65.8 points per game. While no UCLA player is scoring more than Jalen Hill’s 15.2 points per game, four Bruins are putting up at least 10.2 points per contest. Guard Chris Smith is scoring 14.8 points per game while hitting 46.2% of his threes.
11-25-19 | Wolves -4 v. Hawks | 125-113 | Win | 100 | 11 h 26 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Wolves -4 -109 Tonight’s game will determine whether or not the Timberwolves (8-8) go above or below .500. They’ll be taking on the Hawks (4-12) in Atlanta. An interesting start to the season has seen Minnesota earn a better record on the road (5-2) than at home (3-6). That’s been present of late, as the Wolves have won just one of their past three, with both losses coming at home while they took down the Jazz in Utah. On average, the Timberwolves are scoring 113.4 points while allowing 115.3 points per game. Both Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins are putting together strong seasons thus far. While Towns is averaging 26.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game, Wiggins is averaging another 25.2 points per game. Atlanta has solidified their status as one of the weaker teams in the league with a run of six-straight losses. The Hawks have been one of the worst defensive teams in the league, allowing 119 points or more in each of their last nine games. On average, the Hawks are scoring 107.8 points while allowing 117.7 points per game. Point guard Trae Young is doing his best to lift the Hawks, but it hasn’t been enough thus far. On the season, Young is averaging 25.9 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
11-25-19 | 76ers v. Raptors | 96-101 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 27 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on 76ers PK -110 Two of the Eastern Conference’s best teams will face off this evening when the Raptors (11-4) host the 76ers (11-5) in Toronto. Philadelphia enters tonight’s contest on a run of good form. The 76ers have won four straight while topping Cleveland, New York, San Antonio, and Miami. All but one of those victories came by 11 points or more. Philly has scored 109 points or more in each of their last five games. On average, the 76ers are scoring 110.3 points while allowing 105.1 points per game. Philadelphia is led by one of the best big men in the league, Joel Embiid. Thus far, Embiid is averaging 22.8 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game. Tobias Harris is adding another 18 points and 7.6 rebounds per contest. Toronto has won their last three games in a row, and enters this contest with a perfect 6-0 record at home. However, none of those home games have come against particularly impressive competition. Toronto’s opponents have scored 106 points or more in three of their past five games. On average, the Raptors are scoring 113.7 points while allowing 106.1 points per game. Pascal Siakam is leading the way for Toronto. He’s averaging 25.7 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Kyle Lowry is adding another 21.8 points per game, but won’t be available until December.
11-25-19 | Grizzlies v. Pacers -9 | Top | 114-126 | Win | 100 | 11 h 59 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Pacers -9 -109 Although they’re often lost amongst the Eastern Conference favorites, the Pacers (9-6) have gotten off to a nice start. Tonight, the Pacers will host the Grizzlies (5-10) in Indiana. Memphis is coming off a four-game home stretch in which they only managed a single victory. After taking down the Jazz by one point, the Grizzlies lost to the Nuggets, Warriors, and Lakers. Only the loss to Los Angeles was close. On average, the Grizzlies are scoring 108.9 points while allowing 117.8 points per game. Ja Morant has continued a strong rookie campaign by putting up 19.1 points per game. However, Memphis doesn’t offer much else on the offensive end. Jaren Jackson Jr. is the next leading scorer with his 14.4 points per game. The Pacers now trail only Milwaukee in the Central division. Most recently, Indiana took down Brooklyn and Orlando in back-to-back games. With strong defensive efforts, the Pacers have allowed 102 points or fewer in four of their last six games. On average, the Pacers are scoring 107.7 points while allowing 103.3 points per game. A pair of Indiana players are leading the line on offense. Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis are averaging 19.2 points and 19.1 points per game, respectively. Sabonis is also pulling down 13.4 rebounds per game.
11-25-19 | Arkansas v. Georgia Tech +1.5 | Top | 62-61 | Win | 100 | 11 h 23 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Georgia Tech +1½ -110 The Arkansas Razorbacks (5-0) have rushed out to a perfect start through five games. Tonight, they’ll go on the road for the first time this season to take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (2-1). Arkansas may have five wins out of their first five, but they certainly haven’t played the toughest schedule in the world. All at home, the Razorbacks have defeated Rice, North Texas, Montana, Texas Southern, and South Dakota. However, it’s hard to fault Arkansas after winning each game by 18 points or more. On average, the Razorbacks are scoring 76 points while allowing 47.8 points per game. A trio of Razorbacks are scoring at least 14 points per game. Both Isaiah Joe and Mason Jones are averaging 17.4 points a game for Arkansas. Georgia Tech has tested themselves early in the season, and it’s resulted in a hard-fought overtime win and a close loss to undefeated Georgia on the road. After taking down NC State in the season opener, the Yellow Jackets also earned a comfortable victory over Elon. On average, the Yellow Jackets are scoring 74.7 points while allowing 68 points per game. Guard Michael Devoe has been nearly unstoppable on the offensive end of the floor. While hitting 73.3% of his three-pointers, Devoe has averaged 26 points per game.
11-25-19 | George Mason v. Old Dominion -3.5 | 60-53 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 40 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Old Dominion -3½ -109 Fresh off their first loss of the season, the George Mason Patriots (5-1) are headed on the road to take on the Old Dominion Monarchs (3-2). Before an 86-63 loss to #6 Maryland, George Mason won five straight. In addition to being their first loss of the season, the contest against the Terrapins was the Patriots’ first road game of the year, as well. Three of George Mason’s five wins either came in overtime or by six points or fewer. On average, the Patriots are scoring 72.5 points while allowing 68.5 points per game. Four Patriots are scoring double-digit points per game, but two of those four are shooting less than 37% from the field. Outside of those four players, only one George Mason player is scoring more than 4.3 points per game. The Monarchs took a five-point loss to Northern Iowa to start the season. Their only other loss came in their most recent contest, which was a two-point defeat at the hands of James Madison. In between, Old Dominion won three straight by seven points or more. On average, the Monarchs are scoring 70.2 points while allowing 65.8 points per game. Xavier Green is the leading scorer for Old Dominion with 17 points per game. Jason Wade and Malik Curry are scoring another 13.4 and 12.8 points per game, respectively.
11-24-19 | Hofstra -2 v. CS-Fullerton | 79-57 | Win | 100 | 10 h 1 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Hofstra -2 -109 The Hofstra Pride (3-2) are aiming to stay above .500 this evening when they go on the road to take on the CSU Fullerton Titans (2-2). Hofstra has won three of its past four games, with only a loss to Bucknell getting in the way. The Pride have scored at least 71 points in every game, and have topped the 88 mark in three of their contests this season. Most recently, Hofstra defeated UCLA 88-78. On average, the Pride are scoring 87 points while allowing 77.2 points per game. Four players on the Hofstra roster are currently scoring 14 points or more. Guard Jalen Ray is leading the way with 17 points per contest while hitting 48.1% of his three-point attempts. Desure Buie is averaging 16.4 points and 7.2 assists per game. CSU Fullerton opened the season with a pair of losses to BYU and Stanford, but have since bounced back with wins over Wyoming and Stanislaus. The Titans have been held to 60 points or fewer in three of their four games this season. On average, the Titans are scoring 63.5 points while allowing 65.3 points per game. The CSU Fullerton offense is a two-man show, as Austen Awosika and Wayne Arnold are averaging 17.3 points and 14.3 points per game, respectively.
11-24-19 | Nets -2 v. Knicks | Top | 103-101 | Push | 0 | 11 h 4 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Nets -2 -109 The Knicks (4-12) have earned three of their four wins at home. That’s where they’ll be today when they host the visiting Nets (7-8). Brooklyn is set to be without Kyrie Irving for this contest, but he’s missed the last four games of which the Nets have won three. They’re also coming off back-to-back wins with impressive defensive efforts to hold Charlotte to 91 points and Sacramento to 97 points. On average, the Nets are scoring 113.7 points while allowing 115.3 points per game. Spencer Dinwiddie and Jarrett Allen have picked up the slack in Irving’s absence. Allen is averaging just 10.4 points per game, but put up a team-high 22 points against the Hornets. Dinwiddie has been the leading scorer in the three other games without Irving, and is averaging 18.9 points per game. The Knicks have lost three of their last four, but their bad run of form could be the least of their problems. New York will be playing the second game of a back-to-back after losing 111-104 to the Spurs yesterday, and will be facing a team they lost to once already. On average, the Knicks are scoring 102.1 points while allowing 109 points per game. New York has scored 106 points or fewer 13 times this year. That’s largely because they don’t have a dominant scorer on the roster. Marcus Morris leads the way with just 18.9 points per game.
11-24-19 | Villanova -2 v. Baylor | Top | 78-87 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 20 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Villanova -2 -110 A late Saturday afternoon affair pits two ranked teams with identical records against one another as the #17 Villanova Wildcats (4-1) go on the road to take on the #24 Baylor Bears (4-1). Villanova started the year with a .500 record after taking down Army and dropping a 76-51 contest to #16 Ohio State. Since then, the Wildcats have won three straight against Ohio, Middle Tennessee State, and Mississippi State. Villanova has scored 83 points or more three times, and 97 points or more twice. On average, the Wildcats are scoring 81.4 points while allowing 65.8 points per game. Villanova has plenty of scorers on the roster. In total, six players are averaging double-digit points so far this year. Forward Saddiq Bey is hitting 55% of his three while averaging 13.2 points per game. Jeremiah Robinson-Earl is scoring 14.2 points per game. Baylor followed a similar path to 4-1, dropping their second contest of the year. They’ve since won three in a row of their own while putting up between 72 and 77 points in each. On average, the Bears are scoring 78.8 points while allowing 61.8 points per game. Baylor relies heavily on Jared Butler and MaCio Teague to carry them offensively. Butler is scoring 18.8 points per game and Teague is adding another 15.2 points.

50* Powerhouse Play on Indiana State -2 -109 Both the Indiana State Sycamores (1-4) and Air Force Falcons (2-4) own losing records. Tonight, these two clubs will face off in Indiana. After winning a pair of games against Texas State and Army, Air Force has since lost three in a row. In those three defeats to TCU, Loyola Marymount, and Duquesne, the Falcons scored a maximum of 64 points and every opponent scored at least 65. While Lavelle Scottie leads the team with 14.5 points per game, A.J. Walker is adding another 12.5 points per game. Indiana State opened the year with four-straight losses, but they picked up their first win in their most recent game against Loyola Marymount. Tonight, the Purple Aces will go up against the East Carolina Pirates (1-3). The players in the Evansville locker room won’t soon forget their victory on the road against #1 Kentucky 10 days ago. Since that win, the Purple Aces have defeated IU-Kokomo and lost to SMU by two. Two of Evansville’s three wins have come by four points or fewer. On average, the Purple Aces are scoring 73 points while allowing 67.3 points per game. After DeAndre Williams, who’s scoring 17.8 points per game for the Purple Aces, no other Evansville player is averaging more than 11.5 points per game. East Carolina’s lone win of the season came in the opener against the VMI Keydets. Since then, the Pirates have fallen to Navy, Appalachian State, and Liberty. However, two of those losses came by six points or fewer. On average, the Pirates are scoring 64 points while allowing 68.8 points per game. East Carolina has a proven scorer in forward Jayden Gardner. While hitting 56% of his field-goal attempts, Gardner is scoring 20 points per game in addition to his 9.3 rebounds per contest.
11-22-19 | Ohio v. Utah -5.5 | 66-80 | Win | 100 | 10 h 54 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Utah -5½ -110 Both the Ohio Bobcats (3-2) and Utah Utes (3-1) can boast winning records at this early stage of the college basketball season. These two clubs will face off this evening in Utah. Ohio won their first three games of the season before dropping two straight to Villanova and Baylor. Both of those losses were by a margin of 23 points or more. Ohio is now set for their fourth road game of the season. On average, the Bobcats are scoring 68.2 points while allowing 65.8 points per game. Against Baylor last night, Ohio could only muster two double-digit scorers. Lunden McDay put up 16 while Jason Preston added another 12 points. Meanwhile, Baylor had three players with at least 10 points, led by Jared Butler’s 19-point performance. Before suffering a disappointing loss to Coastal Carolina, Utah kicked the season off with three-straight wins over Nevada, Mississippi Valley State, and Minnesota. The Utes showed their offensive prowess with 143 points in their second game of the season. On average, the Utes are scoring 88 points while allowing 67.8 points per game. Timmy Allen has proven himself to be a dangerous scorer for Utah by averaging 20.8 points in addition to his 8.5 rebounds per game. Both Gach is adding another 14.5 points per contest.
11-22-19 | Hornets v. Wizards UNDER 233 | 118-125 | Loss | -109 | 11 h 4 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Hornets/Wizards under233 -109 The Hornets (6-9) have a losing record on the road, and the Wizards (4-8) have a losing record at home. We’ll see which matters more when these teams face off tonight in Washington. The over/under is set at 233 points. Charlotte is set for it’s fourth away game in a row. While no Charlotte player is scoring at least 20 points per game, Devonte Graham is averaging 18.2 points a game and Terry Rozier is averaging 16.5 points per game. Both Graham and Rozier are shooting 41.1% or worse from the field. The Wizards recently took down the Timberwolves and Spurs, but lost to the Magic in between. In six of Washington’s 12 games, they’ve scored 115 points or fewer. On average, the Wizards are scoring 119.7 points while allowing 121.1 points per game. Apart from Bradley Beal, the Wizards don’t have a consistent scorer. While Beal is averaging 30.3 points per game, no other Washington player is scoring even 15 points per game.
11-22-19 | Hawks v. Pistons -6 | Top | 103-128 | Win | 100 | 12 h 5 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Pistons -6 -110 The Hawks (4-10) and Pistons (4-10) will put their identical records on the line for a matchup this evening in Detroit. Atlanta enters this evening’s game as losers of four in a row, three of which were on the road. However, it’s been a tough schedule for the Hawks recently, as they’ve dropped contests against the Suns, Clippers, Lakers, and Bucks. The more worrying aspect of that losing streak is that Atlanta allowed at least 122 points in each game. On average, the Hawks are scoring 107.6 points while allowing 116.9 points per game. Trae Young leads Atlanta with his 26.8 points and 8.6 assists per game, but he’s also turning the ball over 4.8 times a game. Beyond Young, no Hawks player is averaging more than 17 points a game. Since a 122-102 win over the Knicks, the Pistons have lost five straight. However, four of those five losses were on the road, and the Pistons will be at home tonight. On the bright side, Detroit allowed no more than 120 points in any of those losses while scoring at least 106 points of their own on four occasions. On average, the Pistons are scoring 107.3 points while allowing 112 points per game. As Blake Griffin gets back into the swing of the NBA season, the Pistons have four players who are scoring at least 17 points a night. Andre Drummond has led the charge thus far, averaging 18.6 points and 16.8 rebounds per game.
11-22-19 | IUPU Ft Wayne +26 v. Ohio State | Top | 46-85 | Loss | -109 | 10 h 44 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on IUPU Ft Wayne +26 -109 The #10 Ohio State Buckeyes (4-0) are set to host their fifth-straight home game of the season with the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons (2-4) coming to town. Fort Wayne has already racked up four losses and an 0-3 away record, but they’ve also won two of their last five and are getting 26 points tonight against the Buckeyes. Two of Fort Wayne’s four losses have come by just four points or fewer, including a 79-78 loss to SE Missouri State. On average, the Mastodons are scoring 77.8 points while allowing 76.5 points per game. Three scorers power the Fort Wayne offense. While Brian Patrick and Jarred Godfrey lead the way with 15.5 points per game each, Matt Holba is adding another 13.8 points per game while hitting 42.5% of his threes. The Buckeyes have ripped off four wins in a row to get the season started, all of which have come at home. However, Ohio State has allowed at least 51 points in every contest while they’ve scored more than 76 points of their own just once. On average, the Buckeyes are scoring 75.5 points while allowing 53.5 points per game. 26 points is a lot to be giving up for a team that only has three players scoring more than 10 points a game, none of which are hitting 12 points per game.
11-22-19 | North Texas +7 v. Rhode Island | 47-60 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 24 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on North Texas +7 -110 In a late afternoon game, the North Texas Mean Green (2-3) are set to host the Rhode Island Rams (3-1). The Rams have allowed at least 65 points in every game this season. On average, the Rams are scoring 73.5 points and allowing 70.5 points per game. Rhode Island is led by the 17.3 points per game of Fatts Russell, but only he and Jeff Dowtin are scoring more than 11 points per game for the Rams. And none of Rhode Island’s top three scorers are hitting more than 42.3% of their shots from the field. North Texas has book-ended a three-game losing streak with wins over Edmond Trition and North Carolina A&T. Although the Mean Green have a losing record overall, they’ve earned a record of 2-1 at home. On average, the Mean Green are scoring 61.8 points and allowing 56.2 points per game. Led by the 11.4 points per game of Umoja Gibson, North Texas has five players scoring at least 7.6 points per game. Zachary Simmons is averaging 7.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.

Although Phoenix hasn’t been able to keep up their form after a great start to the season, they’re still 5-4 at home. The Suns have lost three of their last four, but only failed to score at least 115 points in one of those games. Phoenix has also been very good against weaker competition, as the majority of their losses have come against future playoff teams. On average, the Suns are scoring 115 points and allowing 110.4 points per game. Devin Booker has been on an All-Star level for most of this season. Booker leads the team with 25.4 points per game while adding 5.9 assists. Ricky Rubio leads Phoenix with 8.1 assists per game in addition to his 12.5 points per contest. Although they’re still not yet at full strength, the Pelicans have managed to win three of their last four games. However, all three wins were in New Orleans and the lone loss in that stretch was an away game at Miami. On average, the Pelicans are scoring 115.6 points and allowing 118.9 points per game. Over New Orleans’ last seven games, a Pelican has scored more than 27 points just once.

Thus far, Vital is averaging 19.3 points and nine rebounds per game while hitting 35% of his threes. Three other Huskies are scoring 12.7 points or more per game.

100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Boise State +1½ -115 A tough start to the season has left the Boise State Broncos (1-2) with a losing record through three games. Tonight, the Broncos will play host to the BYU Cougars (3-1). The Cougars will play just their second road game of the season after barely taking down Houston in a 72-71 contest five days ago. Guard Derrick Alston is the leading scorer for Boise State with 25 points per game. RJ Williams is perhaps the most important Bronco thus far with his 16 points and 11 rebounds per game.
11-20-19 | Rockets v. Nuggets OVER 222.5 | 95-105 | Loss | -109 | 13 h 59 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Rockets/Nuggets over222½ -109 The Rockets (11-3) and Nuggets (9-3) figure to play important roles in the Western Conference playoffs. For now, we’ll have to settle for an early-season clash between the two in Denver this evening. The over/under is set at 222.5 points. Behind a nearly unstoppable James Harden, Houston has now won eight in a row. In each of those eight games, Harden has scored at least 36. In five of those eight games, Harden has scored 42 points or more. Four of those performances have resulted in 122 points or more for Houston. On average, the Rockets are scoring 119.5 points and allowing 113.7 points per game. Russell Westbrook is averaging 21.6 points a game for Houston, but he isn’t even close to Harden’s numbers. The Nuggets have won six of their last seven games, propelling themselves into the lead in the Northwest. Denver is a defensive squad, but they’ve scored 106 points or more in seven games so far this year. On average, the Nuggets are scoring 106.9 point and allowing 102.9 points per game. Point guard Jamal Murray is the leading scorer for Denver. To this point, Murray is averaging 19.2 points per game. Nikola Jokic is adding another 16.4 points per game.
11-20-19 | Bucks v. Hawks UNDER 231.5 | 135-127 | Loss | -109 | 11 h 2 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Bucks/Hawks under231½ -109 While the Bucks (10-3) are proving they’re still one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, the Hawks (4-9) are struggling. Tonight, these teams will take the court in Atlanta. The over/under is set at 231.5 points. Milwaukee enters tonight’s game as the winner of four straight. The Bucks didn’t play the toughest competition in the world – Oklahoma, Chicago (twice), and Indiana – but they took care of business while playing three on the road. The Bucks held Indiana to 83. On average, the Bucks are scoring 118.5 points and allowing 109 points per game. Beyond the 30.3 points, 14 rebounds, and 6.2 assists of Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks’ second-leading scorer is Khris Middleton, who’s averaging just 18.5 points per game. The Hawks are coming off a difficult road trip in which they lost the final three games in a row against the Suns, Clippers, and Lakers. In each of their two most recent contests, Atlanta scored 101 points. On average, the Hawks are scoring 106.1 points and allowing 115.5 points per game. Only three Atlanta players are scoring more than 10 points per game. While Trae Young leads the team with 27 points per game, Jabari Parker and John Collins are adding 17 points, each.
11-20-19 | Hornets +4 v. Nets | Top | 91-101 | Loss | -105 | 12 h 4 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Hornets +4 -105 The Nets (5-8) won’t be at full strength this evening when they host the Hornets (6-8) in Brooklyn, yet they’re giving four points to the visitors. Charlotte isn’t tearing up the NBA, but they’re a decent 3-4 on the road. Most recently, the Hornets have won two of their last three. Before losing to the Raptors, Charlotte defeated Detroit by three and New York by one. On average, the Hornets are scoring 105.9 points per game while allowing 113.6 points per game. Charlotte likes to score by committee. Of the five players averaging 11 points or more, Devonte Graham leads the way with his 18.3 points per game. Terry Rozier is adding another 16.4 points per game. After a huge offseason, it looks like the Nets will have to wait until next year to truly reap the rewards. A mediocre start to the season has gotten worse as Brooklyn has dropped four of their last five. Over that stretch, Brooklyn was held to 93 points or fewer twice. On average, the Nets are scoring 114.5 points and allowing 118.5 points per game. Kyrie Irving is set to miss his third-straight game, which means the Nets will struggle to replace his 28.5 points per contest. They’ll aim to do so with Spencer Dinwiddie, who’s averaging 18.5 points per game.
11-19-19 | Suns v. Kings -2 | Top | 116-120 | Win | 100 | 13 h 32 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Kings -2 -109 Although they trail the two LA teams, the Suns (7-5) have been a pleasant surprise through 12 games. Over those last five contests, the Suns have allowed at least 112 points in four of them. Against Boston in their most recent game, Phoenix scored only 85 points. On average, the Suns are scoring 114.9 points while allowing 109.6 points per game. In three of Phoenix’ last five games, the team’s leading scorer put up 23 points or fewer. Devin Booker leads the Suns with 25 points per game. The Kings suffered through the early part of the season, but they’ve now won three of their last four. Defense has led the way over that good stretch, as Sacramento has held three of their last four opponents to 99 points. On average, the Kings are scoring 104.4 points while allowing 108.4 points per game. Buddy Hield has proven himself as an NBA scorer after his prolific college basketball career. On average, Hield is scoring 19.9 points per game to lead the Kings.
11-19-19 | Detroit v. Wyoming | 49-76 | Win | 100 | 11 h 27 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Wyoming PK -115 The Detroit Mercy Titans (0-2) have yet to win a game this season, and the Wyoming Cowboys (1-3) will hope that doesn’t change tonight when they host the Titans. Both games had remarkably similar result, as the Titans fell to the Wolf Pack 84-65 and then to the Tigers by a score of 87-65. On average, the Titans are scoring 65 points and allowing 85.5 points per game. Detroit Mercy hasn’t been very good offensively, but don’t tell that to Antoine Davis. Thus far, Davis is averaging 27 points per game while shooting 22.7% from three and 39.5% from the field. Wyoming has lost three straight after opening the year with a 54-40 win over Idaho State. The Cowboys’ three losses came against South Carolina, CSU Fullerton, and Oregon State. On average, the Cowboys are scoring 50.5 points and allowing 62.3 points per game. Hunter Maldonado has been Mr. Do-It-All thus far for Wyoming. On the season, Maldonado is averaging 18.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 0.8 blocks per game, all of which lead the team. If Maldonado can improve his 13.3% shooting from three, he can take his game to the next level.
11-19-19 | New Mexico +1 v. UTEP | Top | 63-66 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 51 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on New Mexico +1 -110 Both the New Mexico Lobos and UTEP Miners are undefeated. That will change for one of these teams after tonight’s game between the two on UTEP’s home floor. In each of those four contests, the Lobos have scored between 90 and 97 points while holding every opponent to 80 points or fewer. On average, the Lobos are scoring 93 points while allowing 74.8 points per game. 50* Powerhouse Play on Samford -5 -109 The Samford Bulldogs (2-3) are undefeated at home, and they’ll aim to keep it that way this evening as they host the undefeated Manhattan Jaspers (2-0). The Jaspers have played just two games so far this season, but they’ve won them both. After a nine-point win over Delaware State, Manhattan defeated Albany by six in a low-scoring affair. Guard Tykei Green leads this Manhattan squad with his 16 points and seven rebounds per game, but he’s shooting just 36% from the field. The Bulldogs kicked off the year with a double-overtime loss to Morehead State, and most recently lost to North Alabama by just six. On average, the Bulldogs are scoring 74.8 points while allowing 70.4 points per game. 50* Powerhouse Play on Rockets -6½ -110 The Trail Blazers (5-8) have gotten off to a very slow start, and now face a tough task while they try to get some momentum going as they head into Houston for a showdown with the Rockets (10-3). Portland earned a tight victory over San Antonio in their most recent contest, but dropped six of seven before that. Out of their las eight games, the Blazers have allowed at least 114 points on five occasions. Portland has trouble finding offensive help for Damian Lillard, as the Blazers couldn’t even beat Brooklyn on a night when Lillard went for 60. On average, the Blazers are scoring 112.8 points per game while allowing 114.1 points per game. Apart from Lillard, who’s averaging 29.8 points per game, and CJ McCollum, who’s averaging 21 points per game, Portland has no player scoring more than 15.3 points per contest. The Rockets enter tonight’s contest as one of the hottest teams in the NBA with seven wins in a row. Houston has scored at least 117 points in four of those victories. Throughout this winning streak, James Harden has scored 36 points or more in every game. On average, the Rockets are scoring 118.5 points while allowing 114.2 points per game. Chicago will be at home for this contest, but they’ve gone just 2-4 in their own building. The Bulls have now lost three of their last four. On average, the Bulls are scoring 107.7 points while allowing 111 points per game. Chicago is without a dominant scorer. Zach LaVine leads the team with 21.6 points per game, and no other player is putting up even 15 points per game.

100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Warriors/Pelicans under228½ -109 The fall from grace has been unending for the Warriors (2-11), who will go into New Orleans to take on the Pelicans (3-9) this evening. The over/under is set at 228.5 points. Golden State is already without the vast majority of the star pieces that turned them into a perennial powerhouse in the NBA over the past few years. Now, they’ll also be without D’Angelo Russell, who’s sidelined with a sprained thumb. The Warriors have lost six in a row entering tonight’s contest. On average, the Warriors are scoring 109.5 points and allowing 119.8 points per game. Golden State has failed to score more than 100 points four times this season. The Warriors have also scored 110 points or fewer on eight different occasions. Most recently, the Warriors scored 94 against the Lakers and 100 against the Celtics. The Pelicans haven’t been much better than Golden State, and find themselves at the bottom of the Southwest. However, New Orleans has now won two of their last four by getting wins over the Clippers and Hornets. On average, the Pelicans are scoring 116.3 points and allowing 121.7 points per game. New Orleans has failed to reach 105 points in three of their last seven games. After losing a 109-94 contest against the Heat, the Pelicans will now see what they can muster in their second game in as many days.
11-17-19 | Wizards v. Magic UNDER 223 | 121-125 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 16 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Wizards/Magic under223 -109 The Wizards (3-7) are aiming to get out of the basement in the Southeast, and the Magic (5-7) are trying to keep up with the Hornets and Heat. The over/under is set at 223 points for a contest between these two squads. Before a 137-116 win over Minnesota, Washington dropped three straight to the Pacers, Cavaliers, and Celtics. In two of those losses, the Wizards couldn’t surpass 106 points. On average, the Wizards are scoring 117.7 points and allowing 119.6 points per game. Much of that has come over the past four games, in which Orlando has won three of four straight home games. However, Orlando has failed to score more than 102 points in eight of their 12 games this season. On average, the Magic are scoring 100.3 points and allowing 99.9 points per game. Finding a proper scorer has been an issue for the Magic, who are led by the 17.2 points per game of center Nikola Vucevic.

With a loss today, Charlotte would already find themselves well behind the likes of Middle Tennessee and UTEP in the Conference USA standings. On average, the 49ers are scoring 72.5 points and allowing 68.5 points per game. Four Charlotte players are scoring at least 11.5 points per game. Leading them all is guard Jordan Shepherd, who’s averaging 13.5 points, four assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game. Forward Milos Supica is averaging 11.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.

50* Powerhouse Play on UCLA -7 -110 The Rebels of UNLV (1-2) face a difficult path back to a .500 record as they take on the UCLA Bruins (2-0) in California this evening. Although UNLV has twice as many losses as wins, both of their defeats have come in overtime. UCLA began the season with back-to-back wins over Long Beach State and UC Santa Barbara. The Bruins were able to score at least 69 points and hold their opponent to 65 points or fewer in both contests. On average, the Bruins are scoring 73 points and allowing 63 points per game. With five players averaging 11 points or more, UCLA has plenty of offensive firepower. Leading the bunch is forward Jalen Hill, who’s averaging 14.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.
11-15-19 | Jazz v. Grizzlies UNDER 215.5 | Top | 106-107 | Win | 100 | 13 h 8 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Jazz/Grizzlies under215½ -109 While the Grizzlies (4-7) are struggling to put together any run of good fortune, the Jazz (8-3) are making a name for themselves in the group of Western Conference leaders. The over/under is set at 215.5 points for the contest between these two squads. Utah has now won four games in a row, notching impressive victories over Philadelphia and Milwaukee. In three of those games, the Jazz have held their opponent below 108 points. In two of those wins, Utah didn’t surpass 106 points themselves. On average, the Grizzlies are scoring 110 points and allowing 118.8 points per game. Although the Grizzlies have struggled throughout the start of the 2019-20 season, they can be happy with the performance of rookie Ja Morant. Thus far, Morant is averaging 18.3 points per game. Beyond Morant, however, no Memphis player is averaging even 15 points a game.
11-15-19 | Alabama +1 v. Rhode Island | 79-93 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 45 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Alabama +1 -110 The Crimson Tide of Alabama (1-1) and the Rams of Rhode Island (1-1) are both in search of a winning record at this point in the young season. These two teams will play this evening on Rhode Island’s home court. Alabama did well to bounce back from a heart-breaking, one-point loss to Pennsylvania in the season opener with a 78-59 victory over FAU. Thus far, the Crimson Tide have shown the ability to get to the hoop with consistency. On average, Alabama is scoring 79 points and allowing 70 points per game. Guard Kira Lewis Jr. has been the main man for the Crimson Tide thus far. While hitting 40% of his shots from three, Lewis is averaging 23 points, seven rebounds, and 6.5 assists. 11-15-19 | Pistons -3 v. Hornets | 106-109 | Loss | -109 | 10 h 26 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Pistons -3 -109 The Pistons (4-8) and Hornets (4-7) have both failed to reach five wins at this point in the NBA season. Tonight, both teams will face off against one another in Charlotte. Detroit has lost three straight to Indiana, Memphis, and Miami, but two came by just six points and the last loss was on the latter end of a back-to-back. On average, the Pistons are scoring 108.9 points and allowing 112.5 points per game. In addition to the three players who’ve been averaging 18 points or more throughout the season, the Pistons now have the services of Blake Griffin, who’s returning from injury. In his one game played this year, Griffin scored 19 points while racking up seven rebounds and six assists. After squeaking out a two-point overtime win over the Pacers, the Hornets have lost their last four games. The most recent lost came two days ago in a 119-117 game against Memphis. On average, the Hornets are scoring 106.8 points and allowing 113.7 points per game. In a rough start to the season, the Hornets can take pride in the fact that five players are averaging 12 points or more. However, no Hornet is scoring more than the 18 points that Devonte Graham is averaging.
11-15-19 | West Virginia v. Pittsburgh | Top | 68-53 | Win | 100 | 12 h 38 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on West Virginia PK -109 The West Virginia Mountaineers (1-0) are looking for a flawless start to the season through two games. The Pitt Panthers (2-1) might have something to say about that when these teams match up this evening. The Mountaineers are coming off a 10-point win over the Akron Zips, which they played a full week ago. Although West Virginia allowed Akron to score 51 points in the second half, the Mountaineers did enough by duplicating their 47-point first half in which they held the Zips to just 33 points. Of the 11 West Virginia players who saw the floor for at least five minutes, six had nine points or more. Both Jermaine Haley and Derek Culver led the Mountaineers with 16 points and seven rebounds apiece. Miles McBride led the bench in scoring with 11 points. 50* Powerhouse Play on Arkansas State -6 -109 After playing three games, the VMI Keydets (0-3) are still in search of their first victory of the season. Tonight, they’ll attempt to claim win number one when they go up against the Arkansas State Red Wolves (1-1). The Keydets have failed to win any of their first three games against East Carolina, Marist, or Presbyterian, but they haven’t been blown out in any of them. 100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Michigan State -6 -109 The #3 Michigan State Spartans (1-1) aren’t afraid of testing themselves early in the season. 100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Clippers -2½ -110 While the Clippers (7-4) have gotten off to a decent start without one of their two star players, the Pelicans (2-8) have won just 20% of their games thus far. Tonight, the Pelicans will be hosting the Clippers in New Orleans. The two Los Angeles teams are once again atop the Pacific standings after the Clippers have earned a 0.5-game lead over the Suns. Yet the Clippers will need to go on a winning streak in order to catch the 9-2 Lakers. Before yesterday’s loss to Houston, the Clippers defeated both Portland and Toronto. On average, the Clippers are scoring 110.2 points and allowing 106.5 points per game. Kawhi Leonard leads Los Angeles with 26.8 points, 8.9 rebounds, six assists, and 2.1 steals per game. Lou Williams is the team’s second-leading scorer with 22.1 points per game. On average, the Pelicans are scoring 117 points and allowing 122.4 points per contest. Brandon Ingram leads New Orleans with 25.9 points per game, but it’s unclear if he’ll be able to go this evening after picking up a knock to his knee.

50* Powerhouse Play on Marquette -2 -109 The Marquette Golden Eagles (1-0) are set to kick off their season with two consecutive home games. In the opener, the Marquette offense flowed through guard Markus Howard. In 26 minutes, Howard scored a game-high 38 points while shooting 7-of-10 from beyond the arc and 9-of-10 from the free-throw line. Howard also added five rebounds and two assists. The rest of the Marquette team didn’t need to do much in the way of scoring, but both Koby McKewen and Sacar Anim dropped 11 points in the victory.

100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Northwestern +8½ -109 Having started the season with a flawless record through two games, the Providence Friars (2-0) will go on the road to take on the Northwestern Wildcats (0-1). Forward Pete Nance put in the best performance of the game for Northwestern. In 33 minutes, Nance went for 19 points and 12 rebounds while shooting 7-of-15 from the floor. Miller Kopp and Pat Spencer added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
11-13-19 | Spurs v. Wolves UNDER 228.5 | 114-129 | Loss | -109 | 12 h 57 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Spurs/Wolves under228½ -109 While the Spurs (5-5) are on a downward trend, the Timberwolves (6-4) are hoping to build momentum. Tonight, these two teams will face off in Minnesota. The over/under is set at 228.5 points. Entering this evening’s contest, the Spurs are losers of four of their last five. Only a win against Oklahoma City has separated losses against the Lakers, Hawks, Celtics, and Grizzlies. On this five-game stretch, San Antonio has failed to top 100 points twice, and failed to top 115 points altogether. On average, the Spurs are scoring 112.2 points and allowing 112.7 points per game. Apart from DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge, no Spur is scoring more than 14.4 points per game. While DeRozan is scoring 19.4 points a contest, Aldridge is adding another 17.4 points per game. After a pair of overtime games against Golden State and Denver, the Timberwolves defeated Detroit by six points. Now, Minnesota has won two of three and is aiming to build some momentum in the Western Conference. On average, the Timberwolves are scoring 116 points and allowing 116.4 points per game. Both Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns are scoring 25.5 points per game, but there’s little more that the Timberwolves offer offensively.
11-13-19 | Grizzlies v. Hornets UNDER 220 | Top | 119-117 | Loss | -109 | 11 h 16 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Grizzlies/Hornets under220 -109 Both the Grizzlies (3-7) and Hornets (4-6) are struggling to find wins early in this NBA season. Tonight, they’ll go head to head in Charlotte. The over/under is set at 220 points. Although Memphis has managed only three wins out of 10, one of those wins came in their most recent game against the Spurs in San Antonio. That win is one of just four times the Grizzlies have scored more than 105 points in a game this season. On average, the Grizzlies are scoring 109.1 points and allowing 119 points per game. Rookie Ja Morant is the leading scorer for Memphis. On average, Morant is dropping 17.8 points and 5.2 assists per game. While six Grizzlies players are averaging 10 points or more, none are close the threatening 20 points per game so far this year. The Hornets have hit their roughest patch of the season and are now losers of three straight. After falling to Boston, Charlotte dropped contests to both New Orleans and Philadelphia on a back-to-back. The Hornets have now failed to top 110 points in four of their past five games. On average, the Hornets are scoring 105.8 points and allowing 113.2 points per game. Charlotte has the same issue of not sending out a player who’s been able to average 20 points per game. Devonte Graham leads the way with 17.9 points and 7.6 assists whilst coming off the bench.
11-13-19 | Miami-OH -2 v. IUPU Ft Wayne | 84-80 | Win | 100 | 9 h 14 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Miami-OH -2 -109 Both the Miami of Ohio Redhawks (0-1) and Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons (1-2) are seeking a .500 record. One of them will do so when these two teams meet today. Miami of Ohio opened the season against Wright State. A closely contested matchup ended in a seven-point loss for the Redhawks. A strong comeback effort fell short for Miami as they weren’t able to make up the ground lost after going down by nine before halftime. Guard Nike Sibande was the top player for the Redhawks with his 24 points and nine rebounds. From the bench, Mekhi Lairy was the second-leading scorer for Miami of Ohio with his 21 points. Fort Wayne has played two more games than tonight’s opponent, but have only one win to their name. That win came against Manchester, with both losses coming against UNLV and SE Missouri State. On average, the Mastodons are scoring 80 points and allowing 81.7 points per game. Two of Fort Wayne’s top three scorers are shooting less than 28% from three, with only forward Matt Holba topping that mark. On the season, Holba is averaging 14.3 points per game.

Of the four Santa Clara players averaging double-digit points, only forward DJ Mitchell is averaging more than 13 points per game. In addition to his 18 points per contest, Mitchell is bringing down 4.5 rebounds and dishing two assists per game.

100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Texas-Arlington +6 -109 The UT Arlington Mavericks (2-0) are searching for three wins out of three as they go on the road to take on the Nevada Wolf Pack (1-1) this evening. Instead, the Mavericks offer a balanced offense with seven players averaging at least eight points per game. Forward Jabari Narcis leads the way with 11 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Nevada is a six-point home favorite, but the Wolf Pack have already lost once at home. Before a five-point win over Loyola Marymount, Nevada lost by five to Utah. On average, the Wolf Pack are scoring 73 points and allowing 73 points per game. Nevada doesn’t have much to offer offensively beyond Lindsey Drew and Jazz Johnson. While Drew is scoring 27 points per game and Johnson is scoring 18 points per game, only two other Wolf Pack players are scoring more than four points per game.

The Jazz are currently riding a three-game winning streak. On average, the Jazz are scoring 103.1 points and allowing 98.1 points per game. 100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Jazz -6½ -109 As the Jazz (7-3) look to keep up with the Nuggets in the Northwest division, they’ll look to stay perfect at home against the Nets (4-5) this evening. In each of those three wins, Utah held their opponents to 108 points or fewer. On average, the Jazz are scoring 103.1 points per game and allowing 98.1 points per game. Young superstar Donovan Mitchell continues to lead the Jazz with 24.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. Center Rudy Gobert is a big defensive presence for Utah with his team-high 13.1 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game.

100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Rockets -4½ -109 While Houston is figuring out its new star backcourt, they’ve managed to jump out to a 6-3 start. Without first-overall pick Zion Williamson, the Pelicans have struggled throughout their first nine games of the season. 11-11-19 | Mavs v. Celtics -3.5 | 106-116 | Win | 100 | 11 h 4 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Celtics -3½ -110 After Gordon Hayward fractured his hand in a collision with LaMarcus Aldridge, the Celtics (7-1) will be without their star big man when they host the Mavericks (6-3) in Boston this evening. The Mavs have won three of their last four after taking down Memphis by a score of 138-122 two days ago. However, Dallas fell to the lowly 2-8 Knicks the day prior. On average, the Mavericks are scoring 116.3 points and allowing 111.9 points per game. The duo of Luka Doncic and Kristapz Porzingis has been the leading force for a solid Dallas team. On this streak, Boston has scored at least 112 points in five of the seven games. On average, the Celtics are scoring 113.1 points and allowing 103.8 points per game. Boston will miss Hayward’s 18.9 points per game, but they can make up with it with three other scorers. While Kemba Walker leads the team with 24.5 points per game, Jayson Tatum is averaging 21.3 points and Jaylen Brown is averaging 18.8 points per contest.
11-11-19 | Samford +9 v. Belmont | 63-95 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 8 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Samford +9 -110 Both the Samford Bulldogs (1-1) and Belmont Bruins (0-1) are trying to build some momentum early in the 2019-20 season. One team will fail to do so when these team face off this evening. Samford is just a four-point, double-overtime loss to Morehead State away from beginning the season 2-0. Despite dropping their season opener, the Bulldogs bounced back with a 68-42 victory over KY Wesleyan. Samford put together a consistent performance against Wesleyan, scoring 33 and then 35 while holding Kentucky Wesleyan to 21 in both halves. The Bulldogs rely on their starters for the majority of their points, but they appear to be up to the task. Against Wesleyan, guard Brandon Austin led all scorers with 17 points. Forwards Robert Allen and Jalen Dupree added another 14 and 11 points, respectively. Belmont went up against Illinois State in their season opener. Despite jumping out to a 31-23 lead at the half, Belmont ended up losing by seven points to the Redbirds. In addition to Nick Hopkins’ 12 points from the bench, the Bruins had three starters with 13 points or more. Center Nick Muszynski led the way with 20 points, followed by 17 from Grayson Murphy and 13 from Adam Kunkel.
11-10-19 | Nets v. Suns -2 | 112-138 | Win | 100 | 12 h 1 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Suns -2 -110 While much of the offseason discussion revolved around the new-look Nets (4-4), it’s the Suns (5-3) who own the better record through eight games. Today, the Suns will host the Nets in Phoenix. Brooklyn has struggled for consistency so far this season, but they’re on their best stretch after winning three of their last four contests. In those three wins, the Nets have allowed their opponents to score at least 115 points. On average, the Nets are scoring 120.8 points per game and allowing 119.6 points per game. Kyrie Irving is a man on a mission after leaving Boston for a fresh start in Brooklyn. Thus far, Irving is averaging 31.9 points, 7.5 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game. Caris LaVert is second on the team with 17.9 points per game. One of the most surprising stories at the start of the NBA season has been the strength of the Suns, who won three straight before a loss to Miami in their most recent contest. In those three wins, Phoenix scored at least 114 points in each contest. On average, the Suns are scoring 114.1 points and allowing 108.6 points per game. While Devin Booker leads the team with 25.6 points per game, Ricky Rubio has been one of the Suns’ best players by contributing 12.4 points, 8.1 assists, and 6.6 rebounds per game.
11-10-19 | UC-Santa Barbara +5.5 v. UCLA | 61-77 | Loss | -109 | 9 h 34 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on UC-Santa Barbara +5½ -109 When the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos (1-0) and UCLA Bruins (1-0) go head to head this evening, one team will exit the game with their first loss of the season. The Gauchos opened the year against Jackson State, who they dominated in a 21-point victory. UC Santa Barbara had racked up 83 points by the end of the game, using a 46-28 second-half performance to pull away. While holding Jackson State to just three players with double-digit points, UC Santa Barbara had four double-digit scorers of their own. Three Gauchos starters had 17 points or more, as Amadou Sow led the way with 20 points in addition to his nine rebounds and two assists. Max Heidegger added another 19 points, and guard Jaquori McLaughlin had a strong performance with 17 points, four assists, and three rebounds. UCLA could breathe a sigh of relief after surviving Long Beach State in the season opener. After trailing at the half, the Bruins needed a 42-point second half to win by the score of 69-65. A balanced UCLA offense had four players with at least 10 points, but no Bruin scored more than 15 against Long Beach State. Leading the way for UCLA was Tyger Campbell, who managed just 15 points in 37 minutes on the floor.
11-10-19 | Pacers v. Magic UNDER 204 | Top | 109-102 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 20 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Pacers/Magic under204 -110 After an 0-3 start to the year, the Pacers (5-4) have won five of their last six. Indiana now heads into Orlando as one of the hottest teams in the league for a matchup with the Magic (3-6). The over/under is set at 204 points. Only a 122-120 overtime loss to Charlotte has kept Indiana from winning six straight. Nikola Vucevic leads all Orlando scorers with just 17 points per game.
11-10-19 | Portland v. San Jose State -1.5 | Top | 72-57 | Loss | -109 | 7 h 3 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on San Jose State -1½ -109 The San Jose State Spartans (1-0) are aiming for a perfect start through two games of the season. To do so, they’ll need to overcome the visiting Portland Pilots (1-1). After a dominant victory over Willamette, Portland dropped a 76-65 contest to USC. The Pilots struggled to keep up throughout the game, letting the Trojans get too far out in front with a 41-35 first half. In the USC game, Pilots guard Isaiah White led the team with 22 points. White made six of his 10 three-point attempts and both of his free throws. Only two other players, Takiula Fahrensohn and Jojo Walker, had 10 points in the game. The Spartans earned a 79-71 win over Hofstra in the season opener. Tonight will be San Jose State’s first home game of the year. The Spartans had four players score double-digit points in the victory over Hofstra. From the bench, Richard Washington led the way with 23 points in addition to his seven rebounds and three assists. Forward Craig LeCesne was a force in the paint with 19 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double. Guard Seneca Knight added another 13 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
11-09-19 | Cal-Irvine +3 v. Pepperdine | 73-77 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 34 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Cal-Irvine +3 -110 While the UC Irvine Anteaters (1-0) earned a victory in their season opener, the Pepperdine Waves (0-1) weren’t so fortunate. Tonight, these two squads will face off in Firestone Fieldhouse. With a huge come-from-behind performance, the Anteaters earned a big 76-73 victory over San Diego. UC Irvine was outscored 48-34 in the first half, then used a suffocating defensive effort to limit San Diego to just 25 second-half points. In an effort to bridge the 14-point gap the Anteaters were up against, three Cal Irvine starters scored at least 13 points. Guard Evan Leonard led the team with 19 points, six rebounds, three steals, and two assists while hitting all 10 of his free throws. Tommy Rutherford added another 16 points and six rebounds while Collin Welp scored 13 points and four rebounds. Pepperdine faced a tough task in a season-opening matchup against California, and they couldn’t stand up to it. By a score of 87-71, the Waves were beaten handily despite taking a two-point lead into the locker room at half. Guard Colby Ross was the best player on the floor for Pepperdine. In 35 minutes, Ross scored 19 points and added seven assists and three rebounds. Kessler Edwards was right behind Ross, scoring 18 points of his own.
11-09-19 | San Diego v. Long Beach State +2 | 62-74 | Win | 100 | 9 h 4 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Long Beach State +2 -110 Both the San Diego Toreros (0-1) and Long Beach State 49ers (0-1) got off to a rough start in their respective season openers. Today, it’s going to get worse for one of these two squads who face off today. The UC Irvine Anteaters handed San Diego a tough three-point loss in their first game of the season. The Toreros fell apart with just 25 points in the second half after jumping out to a 48-34 lead at halftime. Stamina may have been an issue for San Diego with only seven players seeing meaningful minutes on the floor. Both Joey Calcaterra and Braun Hartfield played 35 minutes. Offensively, Hartfield led the way with a team-high 17 points in addition to his eight rebounds and two assists. Guard Marion Humphrey added another 14 points. Long Beach State took a tough loss of their own as the UCLA Bruins came out on top by just a four-point margin. This was another case of letting the game slip in the second half after the 49ers earned a 33-27 at halftime. Of the three Long Beach State players who reached double-digit points, Michael Carter III and Chance Hunter did most of the damage. While Carter III had 20 points, Hunter added another 19.

DeMar DeRozan leads all San Antonio scorers with his 20 points per game while adding five rebounds and 4.8 assists. |
