4% PACKERS/LIONS NFL TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The Detroit Lions have devoured almost anything in their way lately, but I expect their division rivals to give them all they can handle as the Green Bay Packers roll into Ford Field for this Thursday night showdown.

Detroit’s defense is dealing with key injuries, and the Packers are hitting their stride, coming off dominant wins over San Francisco and Miami. This one should be closer than the line suggests.

4% PHX/NOP NBA TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The 4-18 New Orleans Pelicans are getting slightly healthier but still struggling to win games, as a 124-112 loss at Atlanta on Dec 2 marked their ninth loss in a row.

The Phoenix Suns are coming off a 104-93 win over San Antonio but lost Kevin Durant to a sprained ankle, but I would not back the Pels until they show they're back on track.

5% MAX BET ALERT - NBA EAST CONF GAME OF THE WEEK

This looks like a great spot to back the Orlando Magic to rebound from a 121-106 loss to the Knicks in New York last night. The Sixers are also on no rest after a tight win over Charlotte. Before last night’s loss, the Magic had won six straight and eight of nine, and that defeat could serve as a timely wake-up call to keep them focused and hungry.

4% NHL TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The Toronto Maple Leafs are 11-3-0 at home while the Nashville Predators have won just two of 12 games on the road. The Leafs have won nine of their last 11 and two in a row since Auston Matthews returned from injury. I think the price is right to back the favorite.

4% CBB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The Cornell Big Red are coming off an 82-72 loss as 9.5-point underdogs at Syracuse. They covered as favorites in their last outing and are 2-1 SU in that role this season. Meanwhile, the Colgate Raiders are 2-6 SU and lack the offensive firepower to keep up with a Cornell team averaging nearly 15 points more per game.

4% PLAY ON CORNELL. 

4% ROCKETS/KINGS NBA TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The Houston Rockets are going for the clean sweep in NBA Cup group play while the Sacramento Kings are dead in the water at 0-3. The Rockets are firing on all cylinders and should not have any problem to take care of business against an unmotivated Kings team. 

4% PLAY ON ROCKETS. 

5% NHL WEST CONF GAME OF THE WEEK MAX BET

The Dallas Stars are only 5-6-0 on the road, but they are 4-3 as road favorites and 13-4 as favorites overall, and I like the price we get on them when they visit Utah Monday night.

The Hockey Club are 5-10 as underdogs and 2-7 off a win, and they are in a potential letdown spot following a 6-0 win as underdogs in Vegas.

4% PELS/HAWKS NBA TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The New Orleans Pelicans are getting slightly healthier, but they are still without Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, and a few others.

The Atlanta Hawks must feel pretty good about themselves coming off three consecutive wins, and I expect a big game after just narrowly beating the Hornets in Charlotte on Saturday. 

4% PLAY ON THE HAWKS. 

5% HOU/JAX AFC GAME OF THE YEAR MAX BET

The Jacksonville Jaguars are coming off a mini-bye and had covered the spread in four consecutive games before a 52-6 loss at Detroit on Nov 17.

Trevor Lawrence will make his first start since Nov 3, and I expect them to bounce back with a solid outing from that humiliating loss.

The Houston Texans are in a downward spiral, having lost three of four games and only beating the shorthanded Cowboys. 

5% PLAY ON THE JAGUARS. 

4% STEELERS/BENGALS NFL TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

I've been waiting for the Cincinnati Bengals to turn things around, but instead, they're trending downward with three losses in their last four games. Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers are looking like the real deal. Their defense has always been solid, and now Russell Wilson is heating up, creating opportunities for their strong running game to shine.

5% LAC/ATL MAX BET ALERT - NFL TOTAL OF THE WEEK

The Los Angeles Chargers are coming off a 30-23 loss to Baltimore but had scored 26+ points in four straight games prior. Their last three games have gone over the total, and I expect the Chargers to keep lighting up the scoreboard, while the Atlanta Falcons, fresh off their bye, rebound from lackluster offensive performances at New Orleans and Denver. 

5% PLAY ON THE OVER. 

5% AUB/ALA SEC GAME OF THE YEAR MAX BET

The No. 12 Alabama Crimson Tigers currently find themselves outside of the 12-team College Football Playoff picture.

They are perfect 6-0 SU and 4-2 ATS at home, but the Auburn Tigers would like nothing more than to play spoiler for their rivals, especially as last season, the Crimson Tide defeated Auburn 27-24 with a fourth-and-goal from the Tigers' 31-yard line.

Auburn is coming off a 43-41 win over Texas A&M and I think this will be a close game. 

5% PLAY ON AUBURN. 

5% MICH/OSU CFB TOTAL OF THE WEEK MAX BET

The Ohio State Buckeyes boast the nation’s best scoring defense, allowing just 241.7 yards per game, while the Michigan Wolverines are no slouches, holding opponents to 316.3 yards per game. Michigan has leaned heavily on its ground game all season, and as nearly three-touchdown underdogs, their best strategy will be to shorten the game with long, methodical drives to keep Ohio State’s explosive offense off the field.

4% LOU/UK CFB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The Kentucky Wildcats have dominated their archrival Louisville Cardinals with five straight wins, but they enter this matchup with zero momentum, going 1-5 in their last six games. Wildcats coach Mark Stoops is planning to start true freshman Cutter Bole at quarterback, signaling this game might not be as high of a priority for Kentucky as it is for Louisville. The Cardinals, gearing up for a bowl game, are determined to avoid a repeat of last year’s bitter defeat.

How can the Ole Miss Rebels realistically find motivation after their College Football Playoff hopes were crushed by a loss to the Gators in Gainesville? Meanwhile, the Mississippi State Bulldogs would love nothing more than to twist the knife, and they’ve thrived as big underdogs this season, consistently covering sizable spreads.

5% PLAY ON MISSISSIPPI STATE. 

4% PANTHERS/CANES NHL TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

While the Florida Panthers hold a respectable 6-4 road record, they're at a significant disadvantage against the Carolina Hurricanes, who boast a dominant 9-1 record at home. The Panthers' recent form has been shaky, with four straight losses before their 5-1 home win over Toronto last time out. Considering these factors, the price on the home team feels more than fair.

Just days ago, the Atlanta Hawks dealt the Cleveland Cavaliers their second loss of the season—and did it on Cleveland's home court! That result has to sting, and I fully expect the Cavs to bounce back with a determined and dominant performance.

The Miami Dolphins are on a three-game winning streak, but those wins came in favorable conditions—two at home and one in LA. Historically, Tua Tagovailoa has struggled in cold weather, and the conditions at Lambeau Field on Thanksgiving Eve won't do him any favors. Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers are one of the hottest teams in the league and well-equipped to thrive in the chilly Wisconsin weather.

The Florida Gators are a perfect 6-0 SU and 3-3 ATS, while the Wake Forest Demon Deacons are 6-1 SU but just 1-6 ATS. Wake Forest has been favored in all but two games; a win over Michigan as a two-point underdog and a 75-60 loss at Xavier as a 7.5-point underdog. The Gators’ three non-covers came when they were favored by 24 or more points. If Florida goes full throttle for all 40 minutes, they’ll cover this line, and I expect nothing less. 

5% PLAY ON FLORIDA. 

5% OKC/GSW NBA WEST CONF TOTAL OF THE MONTH MAX BET

This looks like a good spot to back the Golden State Warriors to bounce back from a highly disappointing 128-120 loss as a double-digit home favorite over Brooklyn. They're usually good at responding to losses and 14-6 to the over, coming off a loss as a favorite, dating back to the start of last season.

The OKC Thunder are in a potential flat spot coming off a 130-109 win at Sacramento, and note that the Warriors won 127-116 when they hosted OKC on Nov 10. 

Steph Curry is questionable, but I like the line without him on the floor.

5% PLAY ON THE OVER. 

EARLY 4% LOU/IND CBB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The Indiana Hoosiers are a perfect 4-0 SU on the season but just 2-2 ATS after failing to cover as 17-point favorites against UNC Greensboro last Thursday. The Louisville Cardinals are 3-1 SU and 2-2 ATS, also missing the spread in their win over Winthrop last Friday. Both teams have yet to play away from home this season, and I expect Louisville to struggle offensively in a new environment, especially against an Indiana defense that has been stellar.

4% PLAY ON INDIANA. 

5% MAX BET ALERT - CBB GAME OF THE MONTH 

The Kentucky Wildcats are 5-0 SU and 4-0-1 ATS on the season and have covered spreads 20 points or more three times already. The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers are riding a three-game winning streak but could be in for a rough wake-up call as they face a significant step up in competition tonight.

5% PLAY ON KENTUCKY. 

4% RAVENS/CHARGERS MNF TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

This looks like a good spot to fade the Los Angeles Chargers following four consecutive wins SU and ATS. The Baltimore Ravens are set to bounce back from a disappointing 18-16 loss at Pittsburgh and while they are 1-3 ATS in divisional games on the season, they're 4-2-1 ATS against opponents from outside their division.

4% PLAY ON THE RAVENS. 

4% CBB TOTAL TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The Minnesota Golden Gophers are 5-0 to the under, but I think the betting market has overadjusted for this matchup with the Central Michigan Chippewas, who are 3-1 to the over.

Two of the Gophers' five games went over the posted total for this game, and the Chippewas scored 86 points last time out. 

4% PLAY ON THE OVER. 

4% NBA TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

This is a high total, but the Mavs are 3-0-1 to the over in their last four games, and their tired legs could show after a 123-118 OT loss in Miami last night. Since the start of the 2022 season, the over has hit at a 73% clip (30-11) league-wide in games following overtime. Tired legs on the Mavs are also a major reason, while I also like the Hawks to cover the spread. 

4% PLAY ON THE HAWKS. 

5% NHL NON-CONF GAME OF THE WEEK MAX BET

This looks like a great spot to back the Carolina Hurricanes as they return home from a three-game road trip that ended with losses to New Jersey and Columbus. They'll be hungry for a win again while on the flip side, sustaining a high level of play is challenging, even for a strong team like the Dallas Stars, who may show signs of fatigue after an impressive 5-1 run and back-to-back wins.

5% PLAY ON THE HURRICANES. 

5% EAGLES/RAMS SNF MAX BET - NFL GAME OF THE WEEK

The Philadelphia Eagles are riding a six-game winning streak while the LA Chargers have won four of their last five, but I think the Eagles have a big edge over their opponent at SoFi Stadium Sunday night. The Rams have struggled against the run all season and the Eagles are averaging an NFL-best 181.3 rushing yards per game and 5.0 yards per carry (3rd). I expect the Eagles to run away with this one, no pun intended. 

5% PLAY ON THE EAGLES. 

5% MAX BET ALERT - NBA NON-CONF GAME OF THE WEEK

This looks like a good spot to fade the Dallas Mavericks after they've reeled off four wins, two of them as underdogs.

The Miami Heat are coming off a 106-89 win over Philadelphia on Nov 18 in their first game back home from a tough 2-4 six-game road trip.

With plenty of rest for the home team and the Mavs without Luka Doncic, I expect the Heat to get the job done as a short home favorite. 

5% PLAY ON THE HEAT. 

5% DEN/LV AFC TOTAL OF THE MONTH MAX BET

The Denver Broncos have held four of their last five opponents to 16 points or fewer, with the lone exception being a 41-10 loss at Baltimore. The Raiders, however, are no Baltimore, and they’ll likely struggle against a Broncos defense that ranks 3rd in total defense this season.

Meanwhile, the Raiders' offense ranks 30th in total offense, making this a tough matchup for them to generate points.

5% PLAY ON THE UNDER. 

5% KC/CAR NFL INTERCONF TOTAL OF THE MONTH MAX BET

The Carolina Panthers have seen improved production since turning back to Bryce Young at quarterback. Their defense has also stepped up in back-to-back wins over the Giants and Saints, and I expect a relatively low-scoring game here against a Kansas City Chiefs team focused on tightening up defensively after allowing 30 points in a loss to Buffalo last week.

5% PLAY ON THE UNDER. 

5% MISS/FLA CFB GAME OF THE WEEK MAX BET

The Ole Miss Rebels come into this matchup well-rested after a 28-10 win over Georgia on Nov. 9. Meanwhile, the Florida Gators are in a potential letdown spot after pulling off a hard-fought upset against LSU last week.

The Gators' defense has been mediocre, allowing 400 yards per game and 5.5 yards per play. In contrast, Ole Miss boasts the nation’s second-ranked offense in both total yards and yards per play, complemented by a surprisingly solid defense, particularly against the run.

This sets up well for the Rebels to control the game on both sides of the ball.

5% PLAY ON OLE MISS. 

5% UNC/BC CFB TOTAL OF THE WEEK MAX BET

The Boston College Eagles have allowed 31 points or more in three consecutive games, but they've been fairly good against the run all season which happens to be UNC's preferred way of moving the ball. As for the Tar Heels' defense, it's been solid holding its last three opponents to a total of 49 points, and not against total cupcake opponents either.

5% PLAY ON THE UNDER. 

4% NETS/SIXERS NBA TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The Philadelphia 76ers are a miserable 2-12 SU and 3-11 ATS on the season. With Paul George and Kyle Lowry on the injury list, are they really in a position to lay this many points against a Brooklyn Nets team that is 5-2-1 ATS over its last eight games and coming off a win over Charlotte? I really don't think so, and I'm tempted to start fading the Sixers blindly until they give us a reason not to. 

4% PLAY ON THE NETS. 

5% MAX BET ALERT - NBA NON-CONF TOTAL OF THE WEEK

We might see heavy legs on defense from the Orlando Magic following a 104-93 loss to the Clippers here in LA last night. The LA Lakers are coming into this game on a six-game winning streak fueled by hot shooting as they scored 120 points or more in four of those six wins. The Magic won 120-101 when they hosted the Lakers back on Nov 4, and I expect at least as many points in this game. 

5% PLAY ON THE OVER. 

4% STEELERS/BROWNS NFL TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

Pittsburgh might be the better team, but AFC North matchups rarely follow the script. The Browns are in a prime bounce-back spot after blowout losses to the Chargers and Saints, while the Steelers could be poised for a letdown after five straight wins SU and ATS, including last week’s 18-16 upset over Baltimore. This looks like the perfect opportunity to side with the underdog.

4% PLAY ON THE BROWNS. 

5% MAX BET ALERT - NBA EAST CONF GAME OF THE WEEK

The Detroit Pistons sit at 7-9 and are doing quite well, considering they're in the middle of another rebuilding year. They are 5-3 SU and 6-2 ATS coming off a loss, and they'll be looking to avenge a 108-107 loss to Charlotte on Nov 6.

The Pistons won and covered the spread in all three meetings last season and I think they'll get the win here.

5% NHL NON-CONF GAME OF THE WEEK MAX BET

The Los Angeles Kings are a solid 5-1-1 home at Crypto.com Arena while the Buffalo Sabres are only 2-4-1 on the road. Although the Sabres will be seeking revenge for their 3-1 home loss to the Kings on October 10 and coming off a 5-2 loss in Philly, this doesn't feel like the right spot for them to turn things around.

4% CBB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons are 3-1 SU and 3-0 ATS on the season. Their lone SU loss was a 75-68 loss as an 11-point underdog at UCF, but this will be a tough test against a PSU Nittany Lions team that never takes the foot off the gas and has won each of its four games by at least 20 points. 

4% PLAY ON PSU. 

5% MAX BET ALERT - NBA WEST CONF GAME OF THE WEEK

The Oklahoma City Thunder are 3-1 SU and ATS as road favorites, and I think they'll come through for us with a big outing following a disappointing 121-119 loss as a home favorite over Dallas on Sunday. 

5% PLAY ON THE THUNDER. 

4% CBB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The DePaul Blue Demons are 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS this season, and I think the bookmakers have made another misstep by not setting them as heavier home favorites against Eastern Illinois tonight.

The Panthers covered the spread in a 67-58 loss at Northwestern on Nov 15, but they've had trouble scoring all season and I don't see how they will be able to keep up with a DePaul team that is averaging 87.8 ppg. 

4% PLAY ON DEPAUL. 

4% HOU/MIL NBA TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The Houston Rockets are 8-6 to the under while the Milwaukee Bucks are 8-5 to the under. I expect to see a big drop in production from the Rockets following their 143-107 win at Chicago last night.

Since the start of the 2022 season, the Rockets are 6-3 to the under following a 135+ point game, and I think the Bucks will struggle to get good looks against a Rockets team that has held opponents to 106.1 ppg on the season (3rd). 

4% PLAY ON THE UNDER. 

4% CBB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The Wichita State Shockers are 3-0 SU on the season but just missed the ATS cover in their 79-73 win over Northern Iowa on Nov 14.

Now well-rested heading into their matchup with Monmouth-NJ, I expect the Shockers to take care of business against a Hawks team that has lost all four games by a significant margin, including a 79-66 loss as a short road favorite to Northern Illinois.

4% PLAY ON WICHITA STATE. 

BENGALS/CHARGERS SNF TOP PLAY

This one is easy; the LA Chargers are worse than their 6-3 record, while the Cincinnati Bengals are better than their 4-6 record.

The Chargers have benefited from a soft schedule, with wins over teams like Las Vegas, Carolina, Cleveland, and Tennessee.

Meanwhile, the Bengals have faced a much tougher slate, including Kansas City, Washington, Philadelphia, and Baltimore twice.

These teams will head in opposite directions, and I believe this game is completely mispriced due to the misleading records.

4% PLAY ON THE BENGALS. 

4% CHIEFS/BILLS NFL TOP PLAY

It feels like I'm repeating myself every time I bet on a Kansas City Chiefs game, but their defense continues to be underrated.

While the bookmakers are starting to adjust, the Chiefs are still 5-4 to the under this season.

They've once again overestimated the scoring potential here, likely influenced by the marquee quarterbacks.

On the Bllls' side, their defense has also proven capable of stepping up, holding four of its opponents to just 10 points each.

4% PLAY ON THE UNDER. 

5% BAL/PIT AFC GAME OF THE MONTH MAX BET

The Pittsburgh Steelers have won seven of the last eight meetings straight up and covered the spread in six of those games. They won five as underdogs and although the Ravens are having a great season, so is Pittsburgh and I'm more than happy to take a field goal on the Steelers. The Ravens have a lot of success running the football, but here they'll face a defense allowing just 3.8 yards per rush attempt.

Mike Tomlin thrives as an underdog, and I would not be surprised if they win outright again. 

5% PLAY ON THE STEELERS. 

5% NFC TOTAL OF THE MONTH MAX BET

The Green Bay Packers are coming off their bye week but lost 24-14 to Detroit on November 3. They had scored 24 points or more in four straight games leading up to that loss, but now they'll face a tough defense in the Chicago Bears, who are holding opponents to 18.6 points per game (7th). The Bears are still only 4-5 on the season due to a consistently sputtering offense that has scored a combined 27 points over three consecutive losses.

The Packers' defense has struggled recently, allowing 22+ points in three straight games, but 21 points from either team should be more than enough to win this game. I rarely call out exact scores, but 20-17 Packers. 

5% PLAY ON THE UNDER. 

4% JAZZ/KINGS NBA TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

This looks like a great spot to fade the Utah Jazz following their upset win over Dallas on Thursday. The Jazz are 0-4 ATS off an ATS cover, while the Kings are 4-1 ATS off an ATS loss, which they are coming off a 130-126 loss as a 1.5-point underdog to Minnesota. 

4% PLAY ON THE KINGS. 

5% TEN/UGA CFB TOTAL OF THE MONTH MAX BET

Tennessee has hit the under in five of its last six games, while Georgia is 3-2 to the under in its last five, including a 28-10 loss to Ole Miss. While the Vols average a solid 470 yards per game (8th), much of that production has come against weaker competition, and their offense has not been able to replicate those numbers against elite teams.

With familiarity between these two programs favoring defensive game plans and the last two meetings staying under the total, this matchup sets up as another potential grind-it-out, lower-scoring affair.

The Yale Bulldogs are coming off a 100-46 win in a non-lined game over Emerson College but have lost both their lined games outright. The Minnesota Golden Gophers had opened the season with two wins as hefty favorites before a 54-51 loss as a 2.5-point favorite over North Texas last time out. I expect the Gophers to bounce back strong. 

4% PLAY ON MINNESOTA. 

5% UVA/ND CFB GAME OF THE MONTH MAX BET

The Virginia Cavaliers are 5-1 ATS in their last six games and coming off an impressive upset win at Pittsburgh.

However, this matchup represents a massive step up in competition as they face an 8-1 Notre Dame team that has dominated most of its opponents.

With the Fighting Irish firmly in the College Football Playoff chase, expect them to keep their foot on the gas and aim for another decisive victory.

5% PLAY ON NOTRE DAME. 

5% MAX BET ALERT - TGIF CBB GAME OF THE WEEK

This looks like a great spot for the Iowa Hawkeyes to finally secure a cover after starting the season 3-0 SU but 0-3 ATS. Each game so far has featured lofty spreads of 20+ points, and while they've dominated, they’ve fallen just short of covering. Now facing their first real challenge of the season, expect Iowa to bring maximum intensity and deliver a complete performance over the full 40 minutes.

The injury-ridden Phoenix Suns have been able to beat up on weak opponents, but when they face quality opponents they often come up short. The Suns have lost their last two as underdogs, both SU and ATS and the OKC Thunder owned them last season, winning and covering in all three meetings.

5% MAX BET ALERT - NFL GAME OF THE WEEK

Their records might suggest only a slight talent gap between the 7-3 Washington Commanders and the 7-2 Philadelphia Eagles, but I expect Philly to take this one comfortably.

Commanders' rookie QB, No. 2 overall pick Jayden Daniels, has had an impressive season, but facing one of the league’s toughest defenses on a short week will be a true test.

Meanwhile, the Eagles' ground game should thrive against a Washington defense allowing 142.7 rushing yards per game (24th) and 4.9 yards per rush attempt (29th).

5% PLAY ON THE EAGLES.

5% AAC GAME OF THE YEAR MAX BET

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane are just 3-6 ATS on the season and they took a 59-21 beating as a 2.5-point underdog last time out.

They're coming off their bye, but I think another blowout loss is in the cards against an East Carolina Pirates side that has won its last two games by 22 and 35 points, respectively, as shorter favorites than this.

ECU is 4-1 ATS as favorites on the season, and I think they'll win this one comfortably. 

5% PLAY ON EAST CAROLINA. 

5% MAX BET ALERT - CBB TOTAL OF THE WEEK

The Seton Hall Pirates have opened the season with two low-scoring games as big favorites, but I think we'll see a relatively high-scoring affair when they host Hofstra Wednesday night. The Pride are coming off a 90-76 win over Iona, and I expect the Pirates to come out with a chip on their shoulder following a 57-56 loss as a 10-point favorite against Forman.

This looks like a fantastic spot to back the Pittsburgh Penguins to bounce back from a humiliating 7-1 home loss to Dallas on Sunday. They owned Detroit last season and the Red Wings have lost their last five as underdogs.

Tonight, they face a tough Georgia Bulldogs squad coming off a dominant 28-point win over Texas Southern, and I expect Georgia to bring North Florida back down to earth.

The Carolina Hurricanes were on an eight-game winning streak before a 6-4 loss at Colorado on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Vegas Golden Knights have won six of their last eight but are coming off an OT loss at Seattle on Friday. Vegas is an impressive 8-0-0 at home this season, but with the Canes winning five of the last seven meetings, I like the price we get on Carolina to hand them their first home loss tonight.

4% MERCER/DEPAUL CBB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The DePaul Blue Demons are off to a solid start, going 2-0 SU and 1-1 ATS this season. They’re coming off a dominant 92-59 win over Prairie View on Thursday, giving them ample time to rest and prepare for this matchup. Mercer, meanwhile, will be playing its season opener, so DePaul’s early rhythm could be an advantage. With the Blue Demons already warmed up, I like them to win and cover against a Bears team that may need a quarter or two to shake off the rust.

5% MAX BET ALERT - NFL TOTAL OF THE WEEK

With Tua Tagovailoa back from his latest concussion, the Miami Dolphins have put up 27 points in each of their last two games, though they lost both.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Rams are riding a three-game winning streak, scoring 76 points during that stretch.

Matthew Stafford has been sharp, throwing for six TDs and just one INT over the last two games, and Miami’s defense just gave up three passing touchdowns to Josh Allen last week.

All signs point to an action-packed Monday night showdown at SoFi Stadium.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are an impressive 11-0 SU and a solid 9-2 ATS, while the Chicago Bulls sit at 4-6 SU and ATS.

However, it feels like the bookmakers may have overadjusted to Cleveland’s hot start.

The Cavs now have a target on their back, and the Bulls would love to be the team that hands their division rival its first loss of the season.

Home court has been a key factor in recent matchups between these teams, and the Nuggets are 4-2 at home this season, while the Mavs are just 1-1 on the road.

Unlike the Mavs, the Nuggets are also getting strong production from their bench, giving them an edge in depth.

The Denver Broncos are 6-3 to the over this season, with each of their last five games going over the total. However, I expect a lower-scoring game when they visit KC on Sunday.

Matchups with their divisional rival tend to stay on the lower side, and while KC has allowed more points recently, I don’t see Denver finding much success offensively here, as KC's D is still one of the best units in the league IMO.

The Toronto Raptors had covered the spread in seven straight games before their 122-107 loss to Sacramento on Thursday. With two days off since that loss, they’re in a good spot to cover here against a Clippers team riding a three-game SU and ATS winning streak.

This is only the second time the Clippers have been favored by more than four points, and the last time they were, they lost outright as an 8-point favorite against Portland.

The Raptors are averaging a healthy 118.0 points per game (6th), but they've struggled on the other end of the hardwood giving up 124.7 ppg (30th).

This looks like a good spot to back the Washington Capitals to bounce back from a 4-2 loss to Pittsburgh. They are perfect 3-0 SU off a loss and the 7-7-0 Blues are about as mediocre as their record would suggest.

This looks like a strong spot to back Clemson to rebound after their 33-21 loss as a double-digit favorite against Louisville. That setback snapped a six-game winning streak, and I expect Virginia Tech to pay the price against a motivated Clemson team looking to get back on track.

The Minnesota Golden Gophers are rolling into SHI Stadium on a four-game winning streak SU and a 5-0 ATS run. The Rutgers Scarlett Knights are trending in the opposite direction, coming off four losses while going 0-3-1 ATS. 

Rutgers has allowed 40+ points in three consecutive games and lacks the offensive firepower to compensate for its defensive shortcomings. The Gophers are also very familiar with Rutgers quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis, who spent last season with Minnesota.

5% PLAY ON MINNESOTA. 

5% MIA/GT CFB TOTAL OF THE WEEK MAX BET

The Miami-FL Hurricanes rank No. 1 for both total offense and yards per play. Quarterback Cam Ward has 3,146 passing yards and 29 touchdowns, and Georgia Tech has been better at stopping the run than against the pass.

The Yellow Jackets have been outscored 52-19 over their last two games, but I think this will be a high-scoring affair against a Miami team that has allowed 31 points or more in four of their last five games.

The Vegas Golden Knights scored four or more goals in six of their last seven games. The Seattle Kraken were shut out in back-to-back games but found the net three times in a loss at Colorado on Tuesday.

They've had two days off since closing out a five-game road trip and I expect to see some fireworks from both the well-rested home team and the visitors.

This looks like a great spot to back the LA Kings as they return home after road wins in Nashville and Minnesota. They’re likely eager to open this two-game homestand after starting the season with 10 of 14 games on the road. The Kings took three of four against the Canucks last season, and while Vancouver has started hot with five wins in six road games, that pace seems unlikely to last.

4% BENGALS/RAVENS NFL TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

The Cincinnati Bengals kept it within a field goal when they hosted the Baltimore Ravens on Oct 6, and that was before they started to find their rhythm.

The Bengals have won three of four SU and ATS since the 41-38 defeat, and while the Ravens have been balling as well, I can't help but feel that they are asked to cover too big of a number here against their division rival.

The Chicago Bulls are 5-2 to the over for the season, and they've allowed 120 points or more in five of their last seven games.

The Dallas Mavericks are coming off a 134-127 loss to the Indiana Pacers. They tend to push the tempo a bit more than usual at home at American Airlines Center, and I fully expect that to be the case here as a double-digit home favorite.

4% KNIGHTS/OILERS NHL TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

This looks like a good spot to back the Edmonton Oilers to bounce back from a shutout loss to the New Jersey Devils. They'll host a Vegas team that is 5-1 in its last six games, but all wins came at home and the Knights are 0-3-1 on the road this season.

Last season, the home team won all three meetings and I like the price we get on the Oilers at home in this matchup.

4% LAKERS/GRIZZLIES NBA TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

Both teams are coming off losses and are favorites, but the Lakers have a sight-rest advantage as they had two days off before their 115-103 loss in Detroit on Monday, while the Grizzlies have been playing a tighter schedule.

With the Lakers only 1-3 in their last four and two losses as fairly big favorites, I think a fairly well-rested Lakers team has the edge in this game.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders are up against a big spread in their season opener against the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats, but there’s a good reason for it. Expect the Red Raiders to set the tone for a strong season start.

The Philadelphia Flyers are coming off a shutout loss to Boston, and on Tuesday night, they'll face another elite team in the Hurricanes of Carolina.

The Hurricanes are riding a six-game winning streak during which they've outscored their opponent by two goals or more four times. They are perfect 6-0 straight up and against the puckline as favorites of -150 or greater.

The Canes have owned the Flyers in recent seasons, winning nine of the last 10 meetings, and I think that's a trend that will continue.

I like the price we get on the Los Angeles Kings as they look to bounce back from a shootout loss to the Chicago Blackhawks. The Nashville Predators are in a potential letdown spot following a 5-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche, and they are just 3-5-0 at home on the season.

This looks like a great spot to fade the Detroit Pistons following their upset win in Brooklyn on Sunday. The LA Lakers have had two days off since their 131-125 win at Toronto on Friday and I expect them to make the most of their rest advantage.

This looks like a great spot to fade the Detroit Lions following their 52-14 throttling of the Tennessee Titans.

They'll face a Green Bay Packers team that has won four on the bounce but came up just short against the spread in their last two games. For this game, quarterback Jordan Love is expected to play despite being listed as questionable due to a groin injury.

I think this is a potential letdown spot for the Lions while the Packers are due for a big win.

The Seahawks struggled offensively last week, scoring just 10 points against the Bills, and now face a Rams team that has seen two of its last three games go under the total. The Rams, coming off a solid 30-20 win over the Vikings, benefited from the return of receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua; however, Nacua is questionable this week with a knee injury.

While both teams have scoring potential, the total here feels inflated given the matchup and recent trends.

This looks like a good spot to fade the Brooklyn Nets following a 4-0 ATS run and two outright wins as underdogs. The Detroit Pistons had covered three in a row before a 128-98 home loss to the Knicks on Friday.

The Winnipeg Jets are off to a hot 10-1-0 start to the season. They are 4-1 at home and averaging 4.40 goals per game, while the Tampa Bay Lightning are 3-3-0 on the road and giving up 3.83 mpg.

4% CHARGERS/BROWNS NFL TOP PLAY

The Cleveland Browns scored a season-high 29 points against the Baltimore Ravens last week.

They certainly look more lively with Jameis Winston under center instead of Deshaun Watson, but the Chargers' defense is still their biggest strength. The Chargers have held four straight opponents to 17 points or fewer.

In fact, the Chargers have yet to allow more than 20 points in a game this season and I think this will be a low-scoring affair.

4% GRIZZLIES/SIXERS NBA TOP PLAY OF THE DAY

This looks like a good spot to fade the Memphis Grizzlies after their dominant 122-99 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.

Following such a high-energy performance, the Grizzlies could be vulnerable to a letdown, especially against a Sixers team that, despite missing Joel Embiid and Paul George, still boasts a solid roster.

With players like Tyrese Maxey, Eric Gordon, Kyle Lowry, and Andre Drummond, the Sixers have enough depth to keep this game competitive and potentially capitalize on any Memphis fatigue.

4% PLAY ON THE SIXERS. 

5% TTU/ISU CFB GAME OF THE WEEK MAX BET

This looks like a great spot to fade the Iowa State Cyclones, who may be undefeated at 7-0 SU on the season and coming off their bye week, but they barely scraped by with a three-point win over UCF despite being favored by 13.5 points last time out.

That close call might be a sign of tougher times ahead, starting with this matchup against Texas Tech. 

The Red Raiders are coming off a narrow 35-34 loss to TCU, where they allowed 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.

While losses like that can take a toll, Texas Tech has generally shown resilience in bouncing back from losses and subpar outings, and I expect them to respond here by keeping things competitive.

5% DUKE/MIA ACC TOTAL OF THE YEAR MAX BET

The No. 5 Miami-FL Hurricanes rank No. 1 in the nation in average points scored (46.8) and boast the best total offense in CFB with 560+ yards per game, but this week they'll face a resilient Duke defense that is allowing just 327 yards per game (34th) and 18.6 ppg, and it has been especially effective against the pass.

The Hurricanes' defense is almost as good as their offense, holding opponents to 299 yards per game (14th).

5% PLAY ON THE UNDER. 

5% NBA NON-CONF TOTAL OF THE WEEK MAX BET

While the Indiana Pacers and New Orleans Pelicans are both known for their scoring ability, the Pelicans have struggled recently, averaging under 100 points per game over their last three.

Given this, the betting market seems to have set an inflated total for this matchup.

It’s also worth noting that NBA games with totals of 228 or higher have hit the under at a 15-9 clip this season.

This looks like a good spot to back the Buffalo Sabres after a 5-2 setback to the Florida Panthers, which snapped their recent three-game win streak.

The Sabres have won their last two games when favored and will be confident facing an Islanders team that’s on a three-game skid and struggling offensively this season.

Given that the Sabres are averaging over one goal more per game than the Isles, Buffalo should have a solid edge in this matchup.

The Portland Trail Blazers will play their third game in four nights and took a 111-98 loss at Sacramento on Monday in their first road game of the season.

This will mark the first game the Clippers close as a favorite and they're looking for their first ever win in their new home, the Intuit Dome, after opening the season with a 116-113 loss to Phoenix.

The Los Angeles Dodgers missed their chance to sweep, but I’m backing them to bounce back strong from last night’s 11-4 loss.

The score doesn’t tell the whole story; the Yankees piled on five runs in the bottom of the eighth, making it look more one-sided than it was.

With a solid starter in Jack Flaherty on the mound tonight instead of a bullpen game, I expect the Dodgers to finish the job and hoist the trophy.

This is Game 1 of a back-to-back set, and both teams are coming off subpar outings offensively.

The ULL Ragin' Cajuns are 6-1 SU on the season, and while they've mostly been winning as favorites, they did win an upset at Wake Forest as a 3-point underdog. The Texas State Bobcats are 4-3 on the season following a 24-14 loss as a 10-point road favorite at Old Dominion. 

Texas State has had most of its success moving the ball through the air, but ULL allows just 166.3 passing yards per game (15th) and 9.7 yards per completion (7th). As for the Ragin' Cajuns' offense, they've been on fire through a four-game winning streak.

This looks like a good spot to fade the Portland Trail Blazers and a GREAT spot to back the Sacramento Kings to get their first win of the season after tight losses to the Minnesota Timberwolves and the LA Lakers. 

This is a big number to lay, but I expect to see a hyper-focused Kings team while Portland broke into the W column with an upset win over the Pelicans on Sunday.
