04-21-24 | Blue Jays +115 v. Padres | Top | 3-6 | Loss | -100 | 13 h 49 m | Show |
5* INTERLEAGUE GAME OF THE WEEK MAX BET The Toronto Blue Jays are going for the sweep of this series, following a 5-1 win on Friday and a 5-2 win on Saturday. The Padres' scoring woes are likely to continue against Toronto right-hander Chris Bassitt, who has allowed just two runs on nine hits with 13 Ks over 13 innings in his last two starts. Meanwhile, San Diego right-hander Joe Musgrove has surrendered three runs or more in four of his five starts this season, and he has walked seven batters in his last two starts alone. 5* PLAY ON THE BLUE JAYS.
04-19-24 | White Sox v. Phillies UNDER 8 | Top | 0-7 | Win | 100 | 13 h 26 m | Show |
MIKE'S 4* MLB TOTAL TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The Philadelphia Phillies have scored 12 runs through their last two games, but they're still 8-2 to the under in their last 10 games. The Chicago White Sox are averaging a pathetic 2-1 runs per nine innings on the season, and Philly right-hander Spencer Turnbull (1-0, 1.80 ERA) is off to a terrific start to the season. As for White Sox starter Garett Crochet (1-2, 3.57 ERA), the left-hander had allowed just four runs through his first three starts before giving up five runs in a 5-0 loss to Cincinnati in his last start. It was still a decent outing, though; Crochet had 10 Ks against four hits and three walks over his 4 2/3 innings on the mound. Crochet leads the American League with 31 strikeouts entering play on Thursday. 5* PLAY ON THE UNDER.
04-18-24 | Rangers v. Tigers +100 | Top | 9-7 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 30 m | Show |
MIKE'S 4* RANGERS/TIGERS MLB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY Detroit right-hander Kenta Maeda was slapped around by the Chicago White Sox in his season opener, but he has allowed only four earned runs on seven hits with 8 Ks over 11 innings in his last two starts. Maeda is 2-0 with a 3.32 ERA in five career appearances (four starts) against the Texas Rangers who will counter with rookie Jack Leiter, the No. 2 pick of the 2021 draft, who will make his MLB debut today. Leiter made six appearances in spring training, one start, going 0-2 with a 4.26 ERA, and his minor league numbers are not very impressive. Texas bullpen has an ERA of 4.93 on the season, while Detroit's relievers have posted a very solid ERA of 1.76. We lost with Detroit yesterday, as three errors basically cost them the game. I expect a more focused effort in this game as they look to salvage a split in the series. 4* PLAY ON THE TIGERS.
04-17-24 | Rangers v. Tigers -138 | Top | 5-4 | Loss | -138 | 8 h 20 m | Show |
5* AL GAME OF THE WEEK MAX BET Detroit left-hander Tarik Skubal has blanked his opponent in two of three starts on the season, and the Tigers won all three games. The Texas Rangers are 1-3 against left-handed starters. 5* PLAY ON THE TIGERS.
04-17-24 | Pirates v. Mets UNDER 8.5 | Top | 1-9 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 17 m | Show |
MIKE'S EARLY 4* MLB TOTAL TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The Pittsburgh Pirates have been held to three runs or fewer in five of their last seven games. Today, they'll face Luis Severino, who has limited the Pirates to one run over 11 innings in two previous meetings. Severino gave up six runs (three earned) in his season debut but has since allowed just two runs over 10 innings. The Bucs hand the ball to left-hander Bailey Falter, who, like Severino, has recovered after a rocky first start. In his next two starts since his season opener, he has allowed only one run on five hits over 11 innings. 4* PLAY ON THE UNDER.
04-16-24 | Rockies v. Phillies UNDER 8.5 | Top | 0-5 | Win | 100 | 16 h 10 m | Show |
5* NL TOTAL OF THE WEEK MAX BET The Philadelphia Phillies opened this series with a 2-1 win, and I expect another low-scoring affair when they host the Colorado Rockies for Game 2 Tuesday night. Phillies left-hander Ranger Suarez (2-0, 2.65 ERA) is off to a great start, and the Rockies are batting only .223 against left-handers. Rockies left-hander Austin Gomber (0-0, 4.91 ERA) is also off to a solid start, with eight runs allowed on 16 hits with a respectable 14 Ks over 14 2/3 innings of work. The Rockies have averaged 3.7 R/9 over their last five games, and the Phillies have averaged 3.1 R/9 over their last five games. 5* PLAY ON THE UNDER.
04-15-24 | Angels +1.5 v. Rays | Top | 7-3 | Win | 100 | 17 h 39 m | Show |
5* AL RUNLINE OF THE WEEK MAX BET Tampa Bay right-hander Zach Eflin has allowed 6, 1 and 5 runs through his first three starts of the season. With such inconsistency, I don't think the Rays should be this big of a favorite with Eflin on the mound, and without a reliable bullpen to back him up. The Rays relievers have a combined ERA of 6.23, which is dead last across the major leagues. 5* PLAY ON THE ANGELS +1.5.
04-12-24 | Twins v. Tigers -122 | Top | 2-8 | Win | 100 | 18 h 8 m | Show |
5* AL CENTRAL GAME OF THE MONTH MAX BET The Detroit Tigers hand the ball to left-hander Tarik Skubal for his second start of the season. Skubal tossed six scoreless innings against the Chicago White Sox in his season opener before giving up four runs in 6 1/3 innings against Oakland in his second start. The Tigers won both games, and I like the Tigers to pick up another win here against a Minnesota Twins team that is cold on the plate. It's also worth noting that Skubal has allowed just five hits over 12 scoreless innings in his last two matchups with the Twins. 5* PLAY ON THE TIGERS.
04-12-24 | Braves v. Marlins OVER 8.5 | Top | 8-1 | Win | 100 | 18 h 33 m | Show |
MIKE'S 4* MLB TOTAL TOP PLAY OF THE DAY Neither Atlanta left-hander Max Fried (0-0, 18.00 ERA) nor Miami left-hander Trevor Rogers (0-1, 5.40 ERA) has had a good start to the year, and I expect to see a fair amount of runs scored when the Marlins host the Braves for the opener of a three-game series Friday night. The Braves bats are red hot, and Miami scored five runs in a win over the Yankees in the Bronx in their last game. 4* PLAY ON THE OVER.
04-10-24 | White Sox v. Guardians UNDER 8.5 | Top | 6-7 | Loss | -115 | 11 h 56 m | Show |
5* AL CENTRAL TOTAL OF THE MONTH MAX BET The Chicago White Sox are 7-3 to the under for the season, and that should come as no surprise as they're averaging a paltry 2.1 R/9. Tonight, they'll run into Cleveland right-hander Tanner Bibee (1-0, 3.86 ERA) while countering with right-hander Erick Fedde (0-0, 2.79 ERA). Both pitchers are off to a solid start to the season, and I expect regression at the plate from both sides after combining for 12 runs yesterday. 5* PLAY ON THE UNDER.
04-10-24 | Nationals v. Giants -1.5 | Top | 1-7 | Win | 106 | 6 h 21 m | Show |
MIKE'S 4* MLB RUNLINE PLAY OF THE DAY The Washington Nationals are coming off three straight wins as +137, +193 and +174 underdogs. There's no way they can keep the upsets coming like this, and tonight they'll face a San Francisco Giants team desperate for a win and looking to deny the Nats to sweep the three-game series. Nationals left-hander Patrick Corbin has allowed eight runs over 10 1/3 innings in two starts on the season, while Giants right-hander Jordan Hicks has allowed just one earned run over his 12 innings on the mound. Additionally, note that Corbin has lost his past two starts against the Giants while allowing 15 hits and 10 runs over just 7 2/3 frames. 4* PLAY ON THE GIANTS -1.5.
04-09-24 | Orioles -136 v. Red Sox | Top | 7-1 | Win | 100 | 10 h 40 m | Show |
MIKE'S EARLY 4* MLB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY Baltimore right-hander Corbin Burnes has not disappointed through his first two starts with the team. The Orioles won both games, with Burnes allowing just three runs on 10 hits with 14 Ks over 11 2/3 innings. The Boston Red Sox are also 2-0 in Brayan Bello's two starts, but he has allowed six runs over 10 innings. While it was enough to defeat Seattle and Oakland, I think Boston and Bello will take an L here. 4* PLAY ON THE ORIOLES.
04-08-24 | Rays -135 v. Angels | Top | 1-7 | Loss | -135 | 16 h 18 m | Show |
MIKE'S 4* MLB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The Tampa Bay Rays roll into Los Angeles on the back of a pair of wins in Colorado. Tonight, they hand the ball to Zach Eflin, who limited Texas to one run on five hits over 6 1/3 innings in his last start. The Angels counter with left-hander Tyler Anderson who is coming off seven scoreless innings against Miami, but his career numbers against the Rays are ugly (nine runs allowed over 10 1/3 frames). The Rays are averaging 5.5 R/9 while batting .272 against left-handers on the season. 4* PLAY ON THE RAYS.
04-06-24 | Mets v. Reds OVER 9 | Top | 6-9 | Win | 100 | 15 h 12 m | Show |
5* NATIONAL LEAGUE TOTAL OF THE WEEK MAX BET I expect to see a fair amount of runs scored when the Cincinnati Reds host the New York Mets Saturday afternoon. Mets right-hander Luis Severino was slapped around for six runs (three earned) on 11 hits over five innings in his season debut. Mets right-hander Nick Martinez gave up three runs on six hits over five innings against the Washington Nationals in his first start of the season. The Reds have been swinging hot bats, and this looks like a good spot for the Mets bats to get going after a slow start to the season. 5* PLAY ON THE OVER.
04-02-24 | Angels v. Marlins -140 | Top | 3-1 | Loss | -140 | 13 h 7 m | Show |
MIKE'S 4* MLB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY I expect to see a hungry Miami Marlins come out fully focused as they're in desperate need of a win following an 0-5 start to the season. In his season debut, Marlins' right-hander Jesus Luzardo held Pittsburgh to two runs with eight strikeouts over five innings. Luzardo was 5-4 with an ERA of 2.99 in 19 home starts last season, and he has limited the Angels to two runs over 10 innings in previous meetings. Angels veteran left-hander Tyler Anderson will make his season debut today. Anderson typically struggles early in the season and owns a career ERA of 5.19 in Apri throughout his career 4* PLAY ON THE MARLINS.
03-31-24 | Angels v. Orioles -150 | Top | 4-1 | Loss | -150 | 7 h 3 m | Show |
MIKE'S 4* MLB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY Last season, the Orioles were a solid 36-19 (+$17.9% ROI) against left-handed starters, and they won 11-3 when they faced Angels' left-handed starter Patrick Sandoval in the season opener. They've outscored the Angels 24-7 through the first two games of this series, and I think they'll win easily again here against Angels' lefty Reid Detmers. 4* PLAY ON THE ORIOLES.
03-28-24 | Blue Jays v. Rays -125 | Top | 8-2 | Loss | -125 | 11 h 43 m | Show |
MIKE'S 4* MLB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY Toronto right-hander Jose Berrios is 3-4 with a 4.91 ERA in 10 career starts against the Rays while Tampa Bay righty Zach Eflin is 2-2 with a 5.64 ERA in five career appearances (four starts) against Toronto. Eflin is solid though and finished last season 16-8 with a 3.50 ERA, so if Toronto has any edge on the mound at all (doubtful), the Rays make up for it with a better team overall and a big bullpen edge. 4* PLAY ON THE RAYS.
10-23-23 | Rangers v. Astros OVER 9 | Top | 11-4 | Win | 100 | 15 h 31 m | Show |
5* BEST BET: MIKE'S ALCS TOTAL OF THE YEAR Game 7 of the ALCS, and with two elite pitchers and a ticket to the World Series on the line we should see a low-scoring game, right? I don't think so. Texas starter Max Scherzer gave up seven runs in three innings against Houston on September 6 and five runs in four innings of an 8-5 loss when he faced them last week. Houston starter Cristian Javier limited Texas to a pair of runs over 5 2/3 innings in that matchup, but both teams have proven they can score runs off the relievers, and the Rangers are coming off a nine-run outing. 5* PLAY ON OVER.
10-21-23 | Phillies v. Diamondbacks UNDER 8 | Top | 6-1 | Win | 100 | 12 h 14 m | Show |
5* BEST BET: MIKE'S ALCS TOTAL OF THE YEAR These two pitchers faced off in the opener of the NLCS, a game Philadelphia won 5-3. Three of the first four games have gone over the total, but I like the under here in Game 5. The pitchers' home and away splits are in our favor, and Zack Wheeler has a 2.96 ERA in 11 career stats against Arizonw while Zac Gallen has a 2.22 ERA in five career starts against the Phillies. 5* PLAY ON UNDER.
10-20-23 | Phillies -121 v. Diamondbacks | Top | 5-6 | Loss | -121 | 18 h 11 m | Show |
4* TOP PLAY: MIKE'S MLB GAME OF THE WEEK Arizona will be looking to tie the series following a 2-1 win in Game 3 on Thursday, but I like the Phillies to bounce back with a win here in Game 4. Arizona's 2022 All-Star Joe Mantiply will serve as the opener in a bullpen game while the Phillies hand the ball to left-hander Cristopher Sanchez (3-5, 3.44 ERA). Mantiply has a career 7.36 regular-season ERA in five relief outings against Philadelphia, and while the Diamondbacks bullpen has been solid in the playoffs, I much rather trust a team with a regular starter on the mound. 4* PLAY ON PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES
10-18-23 | Astros v. Rangers -124 | Top | 8-5 | Loss | -124 | 34 h 44 m | Show |
4* TOP PLAY: ASTROS/RANGERS MLB PLAY OF THE DAY The Texas Rangers have taken control of the series after winning both of the first games in Houston. For Game 3, they'll hand the ball to Max Scherzer who was 5-2 with a 3.09 ERA in his 12 home starts on the season. Houston right-hander Cristian Javier was 6-3 with an ERA of 4.82 in 19 road starts. Houston won 13 of those 19 games, but Javier's ERA on the road is worrisome and can they really keep bailing him out? Texas is undefeated through seven playoff games, and that against Tampa Bay, Baltimore and Houston. The team is oozing with confidence and I expect them to take a 3-0 lead in the series.
10-10-23 | Astros v. Twins -127 | Top | 9-1 | Loss | -127 | 9 h 6 m | Show |
5* BET BET - MIKE'S ALDS GAME OF THE YEAR The Astros are not quite the powerhouse we've gotten used to seeing in recent seasons and now they're in a tough spot after splitting the first two games of the series home in Houston. The Twins are 25-15 as a home favorite of -125 to -175 on the season and right-hander Sonny Gray (9-8, 2.67 ERA) has posted a minuscule ERA of 1.38 over his last seven starts. Gray held the Astros to four runs over 13 innings in two regular-season meetings. Minnesota won both games. As for Houston starter Cristian Javier (10-5, 4.50 ERA), he was a lot better at home than on the road where he posted a 5.07 ERA over 18 starts. Javier has a 4.41 ERA over his last seven starts. He did note face the Twins during the regular season. 5* PLAY ON MINNESOTA TWINS.
10-04-23 | Blue Jays v. Twins -127 | Top | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 16 h 55 m | Show |
4* TOP PLAY - Mike's Blue Jays/Twins MLB Game of the Week We lost with the Blue Jays in Game 1 of the series, and I'm switching sides to back Minnesota to win and close out the series and move on to the ALDS. Toronto right-hander Jose Berrios (11-12, 3.65 ERA) struggled down the stretch, with a 4.53 ERA through his last seven starts and eight runs allowed over his last two starts. Minnesota right-hander Sonny Gray (8-8, 2.74 ERA) has posted an ERA of 1.54 over his last seven starts and allowed more than one run in only one of those outings. 4* play on the Twins.
10-03-23 | Blue Jays +100 v. Twins | Top | 1-3 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 49 m | Show |
4* TOP PLAY - Mike's Blue Jays/Twins MLB Play of the Day I think the wrong team is favored here in this Tuesday night AL Wild Card matchup between Toronto and Minnesota. Minnesota right-hander Pablo Lopez (11-8, 3.71 ERA) struggled down the stretch. He has posted a 6.46 ERA over his last three starts and a 4.46 ERA over his last seven starts. Lopez gave up four runs in 5 2/3 innings when he faced Toronto back in May. Toronto right-hander Kevin Gausman (12-9, 3.16 ERA) is coming off back-to-back scoreless outings (both against the Yankees) covering a total of 13 innings. Gausman has a 2.88 ERA over his last seven starts. The two teams have split six meetings this season, with both teams winning twice on the road. 4* play on Toronto Blue Jays.
09-29-23 | Astros v. Diamondbacks -124 | Top | 2-1 | Loss | -124 | 21 h 47 m | Show |
4* BIG BET - Mike's MLB Moneyline Game of the Week Arizona right-hander Zac Gallen has struggled on the road, but he is 12-2 with a 2.45 ERA in 15 home starts on the season. Houston right-hander J.P. France has a 7.08 ERA over his last seven starts. 4* play on Diamondbacks.
09-28-23 | Red Sox v. Orioles -120 | Top | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 11 h 42 m | Show |
4* TOP PLAY - Mike's MLB Moneyline Play of the Day The Orioles would clinch the division with a win here against Boston, and I like the price we get on Baltimore with Dean Kremer (12-5, 4.25 ERA) on the mound. Kremer has not been at his sharpest lately, but the team has still won eight of his last 10 starts. Boston counters with left-hander Chris Sale (6-4, 4.42 ERA). The Orioles are 35-17 SU against left-handers. 4* TOP PLAY on the Orioles.
09-27-23 | Yankees -105 v. Blue Jays | Top | 6-0 | Win | 100 | 13 h 1 m | Show |
4* BIG BET - Mike's MLB Moneyline Play of the Day The Yankees are 6-0 in Gerrit Cole's last six starts, and Cole (14-4, 2.75 ERA) has posted an ERA of 1.35 over his last three starts. Cole is 1-0 with a 0.46 ERA over three starts covering 19 2/3 innings against Toronto on the season. The Blue Jays are 3-5 in Jose Berrios (11-11, 3.58 ERA) last eight starts and Berrios has allowed seven runs over 12 1/3 innings in two meetings with the Yankees in 2023. 4* TOP PLAY on the Yankees.
09-25-23 | Astros +117 v. Mariners | Top | 5-1 | Win | 117 | 13 h 18 m | Show |
BIG BET ALERT - Mike's 4* Astros/Mariners MLB Moneymaker The Mariners are 10-0 in Luis Castillo's last 10 starts, but while the Mariners might have an edge on the mound, I think Houston has the better team overall. Additionally; The Astros are 20-11 as road underdogs this season while Seattle is 38-27 with a negative ROI as home favorites. 4* play on Astros.
09-22-23 | Orioles -107 v. Guardians | Top | 8-9 | Loss | -107 | 12 h 40 m | Show |
5* MLB Moneyline Game of the Month MAX BET The Orioles are 50-28 in road games on the season while Cleveland is only 40-35 at home. Baltimore is 6-1 in Dean Kremer's (12-5, 4.17 ERA) last seven starts, through which Kremer has posted an ERA of 2.77. Cleveland is only 5-4 in Shane Bieber's (5-6, 3.77 ERA) nine home starts on the season and it has lost five of his last seven starts. 5* MAX BET on the Orioles.
09-21-23 | Blue Jays v. Yankees -131 | Top | 3-5 | Win | 100 | 10 h 5 m | Show |
Mike's 4* MLB Moneyline TOP PLAY of the Day This looks like a good spot to back the Yankees following three straight losses, the last two against this Toronto team. Yankees right-hander Gerrit Cole (13-4, 2.81 ERA) is 6-2 with a 3.23 ERA in 14 career starts against Toronto and the Yankees are 15-2 in his 17 home starts this season. Toronto right-hander Jose Berrios (11-10, 3.49 ERA) is 3-5 with a 5.01 ERA in 10 career starts against the Yankees. 4* TOP PLAY on the Yankees.
09-20-23 | Giants v. Diamondbacks UNDER 7.5 | Top | 1-7 | Loss | -107 | 12 h 48 m | Show |
Mike's 4* MLB Total Game of the Week Arizona right-hander Merrill Kelly gave up seven runs over five innings of an 11-1 loss to the Mets in his last start, but he usually bounce back quickly from rough outings like that. Giants right-hander Logan Webb has allowed only four runs through 20 2/3 innings (1.74 ERA) over his last three starts. The over/under is 9-18 in Kelly's starts this season. The over/under is 10-21 in Webb's starts this season. Bet this TOP PLAY on the UNDER with 4% of your bankroll.
09-19-23 | Orioles v. Astros OVER 9 | Top | 9-5 | Win | 100 | 13 h 2 m | Show |
Mike's 5* AL Total Game of the Month MAX BET The Orioles won the opener of this series 8-7, and I expect to see a lot of runs here in Game 2 as well. Orioles righty Kyle Gibson has a 6.38 ERA over his last seven starts. The Astros counter with rookie Hunter Brown who is 3-4 with a 6.55 ERA over his last seven starts. Bet this MAX BET on the OVER with 5% of your bankroll.
09-19-23 | Brewers -119 v. Cardinals | Top | 7-3 | Win | 100 | 10 h 17 m | Show |
Mike's 4* MLB Moneyline TOP PLAY of the Day This looks like a good spot to back the Brewers to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to the Cardinals in the opener of this series Monday night. Milwaukee reliever Trevor Megill (1-0, 3.13 ERA) will start as the opener, most likely followed by Colin Rea (5-6, 4.89 ERA). Rea has a 3.29 ERA over his last three starts. He has made five career starts against the Cardinals, but the last start was in 2020. The Cardinals turn to rookie left-hander Drew Rom (1-2, 5.96 ERA) for his sixth career start. The Brewers are 18-13 on the road when the money line is +125 to -125. The Cardinals are 13-20 at home when the money line is +125 to -125. The Brewers are 26-17 against division opponents. The Cardinals are 18-25 against division opponents. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Brewers with 4% of your bankroll.
09-15-23 | Dodgers -102 v. Mariners | Top | 6-3 | Win | 100 | 15 h 16 m | Show |
Mike's 4* MLB Moneyline Game of the Week TOP PLAY The Dodgers are 21-10 on the road when the money line is +125 to -125 and they are 5-2 in right-hander Bobby Miller's last seven starts. The Mariners are 2-5 in George Kirby's last seven starts and they've lost his last four starts. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Dodgers with 4% of your bankroll.
09-13-23 | Marlins -110 v. Brewers | Top | 2-0 | Win | 100 | 13 h 40 m | Show |
Mike's 4* MLB TOP PLAY of the Day We won with the Brewers last night, but I like the price we get on Miami in Wednesday's matchup. Miami left-hander Braxton Garrett is 5-2 with a 2.74 ERA and a 9-4 team record in his road starts in 2023. The Brewers are 18-22 against left-handed starters. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Marlins with 4% of your bankroll.
09-12-23 | A's v. Astros -1.5 | Top | 6-2 | Loss | -135 | 14 h 39 m | Show |
Mike's 4* MLB Runline Game of the Week TOP PLAY The Astros are 8-2 in the last 10 meetings and they'll come into this game with a chip on their shoulder after losing hte opener of the series 4-0 on Monday. Oakland left-hander JP Sears has allowed only one run over his last two starts, but he has allowed seven runs over 11 2/3 innings against the Astros this season. Houston counter with right-hander Justin Verlander who has blanked Oakland in his last two meetings with the A's. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Astros -1.5 with 4% of your bankroll.
09-08-23 | Orioles -115 v. Red Sox | Top | 11-2 | Win | 100 | 13 h 29 m | Show |
Mike's 4* Orioles/Red Sox MLB TOP PLAY of the Day The Orioles are 7-3 in their last 10 games while Boston is only 3-7 in its last 10. Boston right-hander Tanner Houck is 1-2 with a 5.14 ERA over his last three starts. The Orioles are 6-0 in Kyle Bradish's last six starts. The Orioles are 24-14 when playing against a team with a winning record in the second half of the season. The Red Sox are 13-18 in the same spot. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Orioles with 4% of your bankroll.
09-06-23 | Astros v. Rangers UNDER 9 | Top | 12-3 | Loss | -120 | 14 h 22 m | Show |
4* Astros/Rangers MLB Total TOP PLAY of the Day Houston right-hander Justin Verlander has a 3.57 ERA over his last seven starts and he has an ERA of 2.64 in 34 starts versus the Rangers in his career, a 1.89 ERA in three starts since the start of the 2020 season. Texas right-hander Max Scherzer has n ERA of 1.80 in two appearances versus the Astros since 2020 and an ERA of 3.21 in eight starts against the Astros in his career. Sure, both teams are capable of crushing the ball, but I favor the under with these two hurlers on the mound. Bet this TOP PLAY on the UNDER with 4% of your bankroll.
09-05-23 | Orioles -1.5 v. Angels | Top | 5-4 | Loss | -100 | 15 h 34 m | Show |
5* AL Runline GAME OF THE YEAR MAX BET The Orioles are perfect 7-0 SU and against the runline when facing a left-hander as road favorites. The Angels are slumping, coming into this game 1-7 in their last eight games, and left-hander Reid Detmers is 1-4 (2-5 team record) with a 6.68 ERA over his last seven starts. Bet this MAX BET on the Orioles -1.5 with 5% of your bankroll.
09-04-23 | Twins v. Guardians OVER 8 | Top | 20-6 | Win | 100 | 15 h 2 m | Show |
4* MLB Total TOP PLAY of the Day The Twins are swinging hot bats, with an average of 5.9 R/9 over their last 10 games. Cleveland righty Lucas Giolito has posted an ERA of 5.97 over his last seven starts and Minnesota right-hander Pablo Lopez has allowed eight runs through 11 innings over his last two starts. Bet this TOP PLAY on the OVER with 4% of your bankroll.
09-01-23 | Phillies v. Brewers +102 | Top | 5-7 | Win | 102 | 16 h 36 m | Show |
4* MLB Moneyline TOP PLAY of the Day Philadelphia is 7-3 in its last 10 games, but the Brewers are even hotter with eight wins in their last 10 games. Brewers righty Freddy Peralta is 3-0 with a 1.59 ERA over his last three starts and 5-1 (6-1 team record) with a 2.85 ERA over his last seven starts. The Brewers are 10-4 in his 14 home starts on the season. The Brewers are 19-11 at home when the money line is +125 to -125. The Phillies are 13-20 on the road when the money line is +125 to -125. Bet this TOP PLAY on the the Brewers with 4% of your bankroll.
08-30-23 | Nationals +1.5 v. Blue Jays | Top | 0-7 | Loss | -101 | 9 h 18 m | Show |
4* MLB Runline TOP PLAY of the Day The Blue Jays have lost five of their last seven games and right-hander Chris Bassitt has posted a 5.09 ERA over his last three starts. The Nationals are 43-23 against the runline as road underdogs on the season and left-hander Patrick Corbin has pitched very well lately. Corbin 2-0 with a 2.12 ERA in his last three starts and Washington has won four of his last five starts outright. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Nationals +1.5 with 4% of your bankroll.
08-29-23 | Rangers -120 v. Mets | Top | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 13 h 28 m | Show |
4* MLB Game of the Week - Mike's Moneyline TOP PLAY The Rangers are hoping to go on a run following a long slide. They've won two of their last three games and I like the price we get on them here with left-hander Andrew Heaney on the mound. The Mets are 13-28 against left-handed starters. The Mets counter with a left-hander of their own in Jose Quintana. They have lost six of his seven starts this season and the Rangers are 23-14 against left-handed starters. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Rangers with 4% of your bankroll.
08-29-23 | Yankees v. Tigers UNDER 8.5 | Top | 4-2 | Win | 100 | 11 h 6 m | Show |
Mike's 4* Yankees/Tigers TOTAL TOP PLAY of the Day The over/under is 3-7 in the last 10 meetings, and we saw only five runs scored in the opener of this series Monday night. The Yankees have averaged 3.8 R/9 over their last five games and Detroit has averaged only 3 R/9 over its last 10 games. Tigers righty Tarik Skubal has a 1.48 ERA home at Comerica Park in 2023 and we're likely to see Yankees solid bullpen for most of this game with Michael King in the role as the opener. Bet this TOP PLAY on the UNDER with 4% of your bankroll.
08-28-23 | Padres -1.5 v. Cardinals | Top | 4-1 | Win | 100 | 14 h 34 m | Show |
4* MLB TOP PLAY - Mike's Runline Play of the Day The Padres have won only two of their last eight games, but I like them to bounce back with a strong outing here after taking a 10-6 loss at Milwaukee yesterday. Padres left-hander Blake Snell is 4-2 with a 2.77 ERA over his last seven starts. The Padres won five of those seven games. Snell is 1-0 with an ERA of 1.80 and 26 strikeouts in three starts versus the Cardinals in his career. The Cardinals are much like the Padres going through a rough stretch, with only two wins in their last 10 games. Unlike Snell though, Cards starter Adam Wainwright has been lit up lately, going 0-6 with a 10.55 ERA over his last seven starts. Wainwright has a 0-2 record with an ERA of 4.70 in four starts versus the Padres since the start of the 2021 season. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Padres -1.5 with 4% of your bankroll.
08-27-23 | Padres -113 v. Brewers | Top | 6-10 | Loss | -113 | 15 h 32 m | Show |
5* NL Game of the Month - Mike's Padres/Brewers MAX BET This looks like a good spot to back the Padres to get a W after losing the first two games of the series. Padres righty Michael Wacha is 3-0 with a 1.17 ERA through 15 1/3 innings of work over his last three starts. Wacha has a 1.40 ERA over his last seven starts and the Padres have won five of his last six starts. As for Brewers starter Adrian Houser, the right-hander is 1-1 with a 4.70 ERA through his last three starts. The Padres are in desperation mode and need every win they can get to make it to the postseason. Bet this MAX BET on the Padres with 5% of your bankroll.
08-25-23 | Nationals +1.5 v. Marlins | Top | 7-4 | Win | 100 | 16 h 44 m | Show |
4* MLB TOP PLAY - Mike's TGIF Runline Ripper The Nats are 8-2 SU in their last 10 games while Miami has lost six of its last eight. For the season, the Marlins are 17-26 against the runline as home favorites. The Nationals are 39-22 against the runline as underdogs on the road. Bet on the Nationals +1.5 with 4% of your bankroll.
08-23-23 | Blue Jays v. Orioles +114 | Top | 0-7 | Win | 114 | 12 h 36 m | Show |
4* TOP PLAY - Mike's Blue Jays/Orioles MLB Play of the Day Toronto right-hander Kevin Gausman has not been pitching particularly well lately with 10 runs allowed on 19 hits over 16 2/3 innings in his last three starts. He has made two starts against Baltimore this season, resulting in two losses and five runs allowed on 14 hits over 12 1/3 frames. Baltimore right-hander Jack Flaherty has held Toronto to one run on four hits over 11 innings in two starts this season. I like Baltimore to bounce back from a disappointing extra-inning loss last night. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Orioles with 4% of your bankroll.
08-22-23 | Blue Jays v. Orioles -115 | Top | 6-3 | Loss | -115 | 11 h 59 m | Show |
4* MLB Game of the Week TOP PLAY Toronto left-hander Yusei Kikuchi has posted an ERA of 1.29 in six starts since the All-Star break, but he is 4-5 with a 5.40 ERA in 11 games (eight starts) against the Orioles who have dominated left-handers all season long. Baltimore rookie left-hander Grayson Rodriguez has a 2.35 ERA over his past five starts. The Orioles are 8-2 against the Blue Jays this season and I think their dominance continues here. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Orioles with 4% of your bankroll.
08-20-23 | Orioles -1.5 v. A's | Top | 12-1 | Win | 100 | 14 h 42 m | Show |
4* TOP PLAY - Mike's MLB Runline BEST BET of the Day I like the Orioles to complete the sweep with another dominant win after winning the first two games 9-4 and 7-2. Baltimore right-hander Kyle Bradish has a 2.18 ERA in nine home starts (6-3 team record) this season. Oakland left-hander JP Sears has a 4.75 ERA in 10 home starts (2-8 team record). The Orioles are 28-14 against left-handed starters and won 5-1 when they faced Sears back in April. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Orioles -1.5 with 4% of your bankroll.
08-19-23 | Phillies v. Nationals +1.5 | Top | 12-3 | Loss | -113 | 14 h 5 m | Show |
4* MLB TOP PLAY - Mike's Runline Game of the Week The 56-67 Nats are playing like they're going to the postseason while the 66-55 Phillies, holders of the first wild card in the NL, are floundering. Nats right-hander Jake Irvin has pitched well lately and the team is 6-1 in his last seven starts. As for Phillies left-hander Christopher Sanchez the team has lost four of his last seven starts. Bet this TOP PLAY on the the Nationals +1.5 with 4% of your bankroll.
08-18-23 | Brewers v. Rangers UNDER 8.5 | Top | 9-8 | Loss | -123 | 14 h 42 m | Show |
4* TOP PLAY - Mike's MLB Total Game of the Week Texas left-hander Andrew Heaney has allowed only one run over 13 innings through his last three starts. The Brewers are averaging only 3.7 R/9 against left-handers on the season. The Rangers are capable of putting up a ton of runs but Milwaukee righty Brandon Woodruff has been solid in his two starts since coming off the 60-day IL with four runs allowed on eight hits over 11 1/3 innings of work. Bet this TOP PLAY on the UNDER with 4% of your bankroll.
08-15-23 | Astros -126 v. Marlins | Top | 6-5 | Win | 100 | 17 h 2 m | Show |
4* MLB TOP PLAY - Mike's Astros/Marlins Moneyline This looks like a good spot to back Houston to bounce back from back-to-back losses. Miami has a 1-4 team record in Johnny Cueto's (0-4, 6.16 ERA) five starts this season. The Astros are 15-7 in Cristian Javier's 22 starts, and Javier himself is 8-2 with a 3.19 ERA. Javier had a rough July, but he's been back on track this month. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Astros with 4% of your bankroll.
08-13-23 | Braves v. Mets UNDER 9.5 | Top | 6-7 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 17 m | Show |
5* MLB Game of the Year - Mike's NL Total MAJOR WAGER The Mets are only 2-8 in their last 10 games and they have averaged only 2.9 runs per nine innings during that stretch of games. The Braves bats have been hot, but here they'll face Mets starter Kodai Senga who has posted an ERA of 2.45 in his home starts this season. The over/under is 5-16 in all Senga's 21 starts on the season. Bet this MAX BET on the UNDER with 5% of your bankroll.
08-11-23 | Rangers -114 v. Giants | Top | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 16 h 53 m | Show |
4* MLB TOP PLAY - Mike's Rangers/Giants BOOKIE BREAKER The Rangers had won eight on the bounce before getting shut out as a massive favorite at Oakland yesterday. Giants left-hander Scott Alexander has made 40 appearances this year, but only five starts and the Rangers are averaging 6.2 runs per nine innings against southpaws. The Rangers are 21-12 against left-handed starters. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Rangers with 4% of your bankroll.
08-10-23 | Nationals v. Phillies UNDER 10 | Top | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 14 h 35 m | Show |
Mike's 4* Nationals/Phillies Total TOP PLAY The over/under is 3-7-2 in Phillies 12 games as home favorites against left-handed starters and as far as Phillies' pitching goes, Aaron Nola is a quality hurler despite getting lit up lately. Bet this TOP PLAY on the UNDER with 4% of your bankroll.
08-10-23 | Astros v. Orioles +122 | Top | 4-5 | Win | 122 | 8 h 43 m | Show |
5* Orioles/Astros MAX BET - Game of the Month BEST BET This looks like a great spot to back the Orioles to get a win after losing the first two games of the series. The Orioles are perfect 5-0 off back-to-back losses in game three of a three-game series and 9-2 in Dean Kremer's 11 starts as an underdog this season. Bet this MAX BET on the Orioles with 5% of your bankroll.
08-07-23 | Cubs +111 v. Mets | Top | 2-11 | Loss | -100 | 13 h 21 m | Show |
Mike's Cubs/Mets MLB TOP PLAY of the Day The Cubs are playing some of their best baseball of the season while the Mets lost all six games last week. Cubs left-hander Drew Smyly has been slapped around in recent starts but he has a 3.41 ERA in 10 road starts on the season and note that the Mets are 11-26 against left-handed starters. The Mets hand the ball to Kodai Senga who has been solid, but the team has still lost five of his last eight starts. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Cubs with 4% of your bankroll.
08-06-23 | Dodgers -119 v. Padres | Top | 8-2 | Win | 100 | 14 h 16 m | Show |
Mike's 4% Sunday Night Dodgers/Padres BEST BET This looks like a great spot to back the Dodgers to bounce back from an 8-3 loss to the Padres. They had won six straight head-to-head meetings and they are 31-14 off a loss this season. The Dodgers are 15-9 on the road when the money line is +125 to -125. The Padres are 5-10 at home when the money line is +125 to -125. Dodgers righty Lance Lynn (6-9, 6.47 ERA) has had a rough year with the White Sox, but the Dodgers won his team debut and I think we'll see positive regression from Lynn. San Diego hands the ball to Rich Hill, a left-hander the Dodgers are quite familiar with. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Dodgers with 4% of your bankroll.
08-05-23 | Diamondbacks v. Twins UNDER 8.5 | Top | 1-12 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 33 m | Show |
Mike's 4% MLB Total TOP PLAY of the Day Arizona's bats have gone cold, with a total of only seven runs scored through its last four games and scoring an average of 2.7 runs through its last 10 games. Minnesota righty Kenta Maeda is on fire with 24 Ks and only five runs allowed over 17 2/3 innings in his last three starts. Minnesota has averaged 3.1 runs per game through its last five games. Bet this TOP PLAY on the UNDER with 4% of your bankroll
08-04-23 | Rockies +1.5 v. Cardinals | Top | 9-4 | Win | 100 | 16 h 35 m | Show |
Mike's 5% MLB Runline Game of the Month MAX BET The Cardinals are 17-22 SU and 14-25 against the runline as home favorites. The Rockies are 11-2 against the runline as an underdog on the road of no more than +150. Adam Wainwright is 1-4 with an ugly ERA of 8.16 in his home starts this year. Colorado right-hander Chris Flexen is 0-5 with a 8.08 ERA over 18 outings (5 starts), but he'll be looking for a fresh start since coming over from Seattle. Bet this MAX BET on the Rockies with 5% of your bankroll.
08-03-23 | Mets v. Royals -110 | Top | 2-9 | Win | 100 | 10 h 38 m | Show |
Mike's 4% Mets/Royals MLB TOP PLAY of the Day The Mets might technically still have a shot at earning a Wild Card, but looking at their moves at the trade deadline it looks like they've pretty much given up on the season. Mets righty Carlos Carrasco has been a huge disappointment and he gave up eight runs (six earned) over 2 1/3 innings against the Nationals in his last start. The Royals have won five in a row and righty Brady Singer struck out a season-high 10 over five innings in his last start. I like my chances on the Royals in this matchup. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Royals with 4% of your bankroll.
08-02-23 | Mets v. Royals UNDER 9.5 | Top | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 16 h 45 m | Show |

The Royals won 7-6 yesterday. They are 13-4 to the under after scoring seven runs or more in their previous game. Bet this TOP PLAY on the UNDER with 4% of your bankroll.

The over/under is 14-20 in Rockies home games as underdogs and with a total of 11 or higher. Rockies left-hander Austin Gomber has an ugly ERA of 7.19 at home on the season, but he has pitched a lot better in recent games and three of his last four home starts went under the total. Bet this TOP PLAY on the UNDER with 4% of your bankroll.

Mike's 4% Yankees/Orioles MLB TOP PLAY The Orioles are 8-3 in Dean Kremer's 11 home starts this season and this looks like a good spot to back Baltimore to bounce back from an 8-3 loss to the Yankees on Saturday. Yankees starter Luis Severino has a 7.62 ERA in six road starts on the season and he has a 6.88 ERA over his last seven starts. 4% MLB Total TOP PLAY of the Day The Nats have been playing well lately with wins in five of their last six games while averaging 6.3 runs per game. 4% MLB TOP PLAY of the Day The Dodgers came from behind to beat Toronto in extra innings last night and here they'll face Toronto left-hander Yusei Kikuchi who has allowed 10 runs over 14 innings through his last three starts. Kikuchi is 0-1 with an ERA of 6.55 in two starts against the Dodgers in his career. The Dodgers counter with Tony Gonsolin who has not been at his very best of late, but the Dodgers are still 3-0 in his last three starts and the Dodgers are 5-2 in his seven home starts for the season. On the season, the Dodgers are 8-4 coming off a pair of losses and while left-hander Julio Urias gave up eight runs at Baltimore in his last start, note that he is 5-1 with a 2.15 ERA at home. Throughout his career, the Dodgers are 10-3 with Urias on the mound if he gave up five runs or more in his last start, giving us double bounce-back angles on the Dodgers. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Dodgers with 4% of your bankroll.

Braley allowed only one run on three hits with eight strikeouts in six innings versus the Orioles last month. He was credited with the win. Tyler Wells has a 0-3 record with an ERA of 6.75 in five starts against the Rays in his career. Bet this MAX BET on the Rays with 5% of your bankroll.

Mike's Braves/Brewers MLB TOP PLAY of the Day The Braves snapped a four-game slide with a 7-5 win against Arizona last night. Scoring runs have not been the issue, and they should be able to give Michael Soroka enough run support to win this game. Soroka has made only four starts this season and he has improved following a slow start to his season. Bet this TOP PLAY on the Braves with 4% of your bankroll.

Mike's 10* MLB All-Star Game *BEST BET* Sure, the American League has won each of the last nine All-Star games, but the National League is 217-193 with a positive ROI of 1.7% in interleague affairs this season. 10* PLAY ON NATIONAL LEAGUE.
07-09-23 | Rangers -1.5 v. Nationals | Top | 2-7 | Loss | -125 | 10 h 23 m | Show |
Mike's EARLY 10* MLB Runline Game of the Week Washington is 1-5 in left-hander Patrick Corbin's last six starts and Corbin has posted an ERA of 6.88 over his last three starts. Texas is averaging 6.8 runs per nine innings while batting .294 against left-handers. 10* PLAY ON TEXAS RANGERS -1.5.
07-08-23 | Braves v. Rays OVER 8 | Top | 6-1 | Loss | -107 | 9 h 54 m | Show |
Mike's 10* MLB Total Top Play of the Day The over/under is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings and I expect to see big fireworks here following a 2-1 Atlanta win Friday night. Rays rookie right-hander Taj Bradley has an ERA of 8.78 over his last three starts and the over is 8-3 in Braves last 11 road games vs. a right-handed starter. 10* PLAY ON OVER.
07-07-23 | Phillies -121 v. Marlins | Top | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 12 h 49 m | Show |
Mike's 10* MLB Moneyline Top Play of the Day The Phillies are coming off a 3-0 sweep at Tampa Bay and I think they'll keep rolling here in the opener of a three-game set at Miami. The Phillies have won each of Zack Wheeler's last five starts and Wheeler is 10-4 with a 2.37 ERA in 20 starts against Miami. 10* PLAY ON PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES.
07-06-23 | Cardinals v. Marlins -126 | Top | 3-0 | Loss | -126 | 13 h 59 m | Show |
Mike's 10* MLB Moneyline Top Play of the Day The Cardinals are only 18-26 on the road while Miami is 28-16 at home. Cardinals have lost six of their past eight games and right-hander Jack Flaherty has posted an ERA of 6.48 over his last three starts. Miami rookie right-hander Eury Perez (5-2, 2.47 ERA) has had a great start in the big leagues, despite giving up six runs on seven hits in a 7-0 loss to Atlanta last time out. Miami has outscored the Cards 30-15 through the first three games of the series, and I think they'll complete the sweep with a win tonight. 10* PLAY ON MIAMI MARLINS.
07-03-23 | Braves -1.5 v. Guardians | Top | 4-2 | Win | 105 | 19 h 43 m | Show |
Mike's 10* MLB Runline Top Play of the Day The Braves are hot, and this is a team you wanna back when they're on a run. Cleveland rookie right-hander Gavin Williams has made only two starts in his big leagues career while Atlanta right Bryce Elder is on his second season, and he's a rock solid 6-1 behind a 2.44 ERA. Guardians are 3-11 in their last 14 interleague home games vs. a team with a winning record. Braves are 10-3 in their last 13 interleague road games vs. a team with a losing record. 10* PLAY ON ATLANTA BRAVES -1.5.
07-02-23 | Marlins v. Braves -1.5 | Top | 3-6 | Win | 102 | 12 h 29 m | Show |
Mike's 10* MLB Runline Top Play of the Day The Braves are coming off seven straight wins and they covered the runline in each of the last five. Braves right-hander Spencer Strider is 3-0 with a 3.50 ERA in his last three starts. Strider is 6-2 with a 3.45 ERA in his day starts this year. Strider held the Marlins to two hits over eight scoreless innings when he faced them back in April. Marlins righty Sandy Alcantara is 1-1 with a 5.12 ERA in his last three starts and he has a 5.00 ERA in his day starts this season. 10* PLAY ON ATLANTA BRAVES -1.5.
07-01-23 | Marlins v. Braves OVER 9 | Top | 0-7 | Loss | -105 | 13 h 56 m | Show |
Mike's 10* MLB Total Game of the Week Miami right-hander Eury Perez has impressed through his first nine starts in the big leagues, and he has allowed only one run over his last six starts, but here he'll face a red hot Atlanta team that put up 16 runs Friday night. Over their last 10 games, the Braves have averaged 7.60 runs per game. Miami's bats are not quite as hot, but they should be able to score runs off Charlie Morton who has allowed eight runs (six earned) over his last two starts. Over is 20-8-2 in Braves last 30 when their opponent allows 5 runs or more in their previous game. 10* PLAY ON OVER.
06-30-23 | Giants -120 v. Mets | Top | 5-4 | Win | 100 | 14 h 43 m | Show |
Mike's 10* MLB Moneyline Top Play of the Day The Mets have lost seven of their last 10 games and here they'll face Giants righty Alex Cobb who is 1-0 with an ERA of 3.24 over his last three starts. Cobb is 4-0 with a 1.93 ERA in night games this year. Mets righty Carlos Carrasco is 0-1 with a 6.94 ERA over his last three starts and he has an ERA of 8.20 in his home starts. 10* PLAY ON SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS.
06-29-23 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Rockies | Top | 14-3 | Win | 100 | 16 h 28 m | Show |
Mike's Late 10* MLB Runline Top Play of the Day Dodgers right-hander Emmet Sheehan has only two career starts under his belt, but both were solid. Sheehan has allowed a total of only two runs on three hits with seven strikeouts over 12 innings of work. Rockies righty Chase Anderson has been slapped around in each of his last two starts, with a total of 16 runs allowed on 17 hits over just 5 2/3 frames! Anderson has a 2-4 record with an ERA of 4.68 in 12 starts against the Dodgers in his career. The Dodgers are 3-1 SU and against the runline against Colorado this season. This looks like a great spot to back the Dodgers after taking a 9-8 loss to Colorado Tuesday night. 10* PLAY ON LOS ANGELES DODGERS -1.5.
06-28-23 | Yankees v. A's UNDER 8 | Top | 11-0 | Loss | -115 | 13 h 48 m | Show |
Mike's *LATE* MLB Total Top Play of the Day The Bronx Bombers have not lived up to their name lately with an average of only 2.60 runs per game scored over their last 10 games. Thats still marginally better than Oakland's 2.50 runs per game over its last 10 games. Yankees right-hander Domingo German was slapped around by Seattle in his last start, but this looks like a good spot to bounce back with a solid outing. Under is 20-8-2 in Athletics last 30 home games vs. a right-handed starter. Under is 9-3-1 in Yankees last 13 road games vs. a left-handed starter. 10* PLAY ON UNDER.
06-28-23 | Astros +103 v. Cardinals | Top | 10-7 | Win | 103 | 13 h 58 m | Show |
Mike's 10* MLB Moneyline Game of the Week I absolutely love the price we get on Houston here with Cristian Javier on the mound. OK, Javier has not been at his very best in his most recent starts, but he's still a solid 7-1 with a 3.25 ERA on the season. The Astros are 11-4 in his 15 starts (3-0 as underdogs with Javier as the starter). Cardinals righty Miles Mikolas is 0-3 with a 6.16 ERA in his last three starts. 10* PLAY ON HOUSTON ASTROS.
06-27-23 | Marlins v. Red Sox -113 | Top | 10-1 | Loss | -113 | 11 h 29 m | Show |
Mike's 10* MLB Moneyline Top Play of the Day The Red Sox are 1-4 in their last five games but I like the price we get on them here in the opener of a three-game series against the Marlins. Marlins righty Sandy Alcantara is the reigning National League Cy Young Award winner, but he is 2-6 with a 5.08 ERA this year. The Marlins are 6-9 in his 15 starts this year, and as they're a low-scoring team (4.04 R/9, 26th), they really need their pitchers to perform. Boston right-hander Garrett Whitlock is 2-0 with a 3.38 ERA at home and he is 2-0 with a 3.10 ERA in his last three starts. 10* PLAY ON BOSTON RED SOX.
06-25-23 | Astros v. Dodgers -130 | Top | 6-5 | Loss | -130 | 17 h 8 m | Show |
Mike's Top-rated 10* MLB *BEST BET* I like the price we get on the Dodgers to complete the sweep of this three-game series. Dodgers righty Tony Gonsolin gave up all seven runs in a 7-3 loss to the Giants in his last start. That was a rare misstep from Gonsolin, and note that it was an afternoon start. Gonsolin is 3-1 with a 2.16 ERA in his night starts this season. Houston right-hander Hunter Brown gave up six runs in 5 2/3 innings of an 11-1 loss to the Mets in his last start. Unlike Gonsolin, Brown has pitched better in day games than under the light where he has a 4.33 ERA this season. Astros are 1-7 in their last 8 road games. Astros are 2-7 in their last 9 overall. Astros are 3-8 in the last 11 meetings. 10* PLAY ON LOS ANGELES DODGERS.
06-24-23 | Mariners v. Orioles -104 | Top | 4-6 | Win | 100 | 13 h 16 m | Show |
Mike's 10* MLB Top Play of the Day Orioles right-hander Dean Kremer has an ERA of 2.81 in three starts against the Mariners in his career. The Orioles are 10-5 in his 15 starts this season, 5-2 in his seven home starts. Mariners rookie righty Bryce Miller has also been sharper at home than on the road where he is 1-2 with a 4.57 ERA. I expect a big outing from the Orioles here as they look to bounce back from a 13-1 loss to Seattle Friday night. 10* PLAY ON BALTIMORE ORIOLES.
06-23-23 | Royals v. Rays -1.5 | Top | 3-11 | Win | 100 | 10 h 16 m | Show |
Mike's 10* MLB Runline Play of the Day This looks like a great spot to back Tampa Bay to bounce back from a disappointing 6-5 loss to the Royals yesterday. They are 30-9 SU and 22-17 against the runline as home favorites. KC right-hander Zack Greinke is 1-7 with a 4.81 ERA for the season and 0-2 with a 7.53 ERA this month. Rays righty Zach Eflin (8-3, 3.26 ERA) has lost his last two starts, but both on the road. Eflin is 7-0 behind a 1.85 ERA in his home starts in 2023. 10* PLAY ON TAMPA BAY RAYS -1.5.
06-22-23 | Mariners v. Yankees -110 | Top | 10-2 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 18 m | Show |
Mike's 10* MLB Moneyline Game of the Week *MAJOR WAGER ALERT* The Yankees are going for the sweep of this three-game series and I like the price we get on the Pinstripes with Domingo German on the mound. German gave up seven runs at Boston in his last outing, but he has posted a solid ERA of 2.92 home in the Bronx this year. German is reliable and battle-tested and he is 3-0 with an ERA of 3.44 in 3 starts versus the Mariners in his career. Mariners rookie righty Bryan Woo is 0-1 with a 7.30 ERA through his first three starts in the big leagues. 10* PLAY ON NEW YORK YANKEES. |
