Two of the three 4-0 teams in the Big 10 face each other in a much anticipated matchup. The Wolverines destroyed their first two opponents who were both over-matched inferior teams then had to shake a competitive Colorado team that hung with them all game. After blowing the 21-7 lead they had at the end of the first quarter, Colorado took their last lead early in the second half and watched as Michigan scored the last 21 points in the game. A 42 yard run gave Michigan the lead back for good and then a 54 yard punt return for a TD completed the scoring. Last week they beat a young Penn St team that were missing three LB’s on defense. The Badgers have had two huge wins so far with the first being against LSU where their defense took over and held the Tigers to 257 yards and making LSU’s offense look ineffective. Their defense turned it up a notch last week against the Spartans forcing four TO’s with three interceptions and a fumble recovery returned for a TD in a 30-6 rout of Michigan St. The oddsmakers have this game set with the Wolverines as a 10.5 favorite and the total at 44.5. According to Covers.com consensus and analysis, 65% of the public is backing the underdog, and 70% of bettors are leaning toward the over. The home team has won six of the last seven meetings.
