The Eagles got a big win at home over the Falcons last week which broke a two game slide. It was only their second win since October ninth since they started out the season 3-0. Part of their problem has been the offense which hasn’t scored more than 24 points in their last six games after averaging over 30 points a game in their first three. The defense has also fallen off as they gave up an average of 27 points in each of their four losses and gave up an average of 10.4 points in their four wins.
Quarterback Carson Wentz threw five touchdowns without an interception in his first three games and since has thrown four touchdowns and five interceptions in his last six games.
Seattle had a big win against New England last week 31-24 and in the prior game beat the Bills 31-25. It was only the third game all year they scored at least 30 points while they have been held to 17 points or less in four of their games.
Quarterback Russell Wilson has now thrown five touchdown passes without an interception in his last two games as opposed to throwing just five touchdown passes in his first seven games. The oddsmakers have the Seahawks a 6.5 point favorite and set the total at 44.
According to Covers.com Consensus Analysis 66% of the public think Seattle at home is the ticket since they are 4-0 in Seattle while 58% believe the offenses will have their say and are backing the over.
Seattle has won four of the last five meetings between these teams.
