The Orioles have an MLB best 22 wins this season, but largely in part to their home record of 13-3. Washington sits first in the NL East, with a record of 21-12.

Stephen Strasburg will toe the slab for Washington, and he’s dealing so far in 2017. Strasburg (3-1, 2.66 ERA) struck out five through 5 2/3 scoreless innings in a 4-2 win at Philly his last time out. He’s only faced the Orioles once since 2014, going seven innings in a no decision, giving up just a pair of runs on four hits while striking out nine.

The Orioles hand the ball to Wade Miley, who has been hit hard in past meetings with Washington. He’s given up nine runs on 20 hits and 10 walks over just 14 innings against the Nationals in three appearances since 2014.
