Win | 171 | 18 h 53 m | Show |
Taking the PIRATES. Straight fade of DeSclafani at this price. Pirates have this guys number. 1-8 5.28 ERA career for Anthony vs Pitt. Yes. Real tough getting behind a 3-13 team, but, I'm me, and I am making money doing it my way! Pirates 20-8 last 28 in series vs Cincy. Grabbing the big dogs. 4* Money Maker PITT PIRATES |

Nationals -142 v. Mets | | 2-1 |
Win | 100 | 17 h 5 m | Show |
Taking the NATS. Have to grab Mad Max at this price. I know he left his last start after an inning vs these same Mets. I think he's healthy. Mets pitching, not so much. 4* Money Maker WASHINGTON NATIONALS |
08-11-20 |
Royals +171 v. Reds | | 5-6 |
Loss | -100 | 18 h 9 m | Show |
Taking the ROYALS. Had them in a game over Minny. I just can't even think of taking Cincy laying this kind of number. The offense is putrid. How many games you gonna win if you can't plate 2 or 3 runs. 4* Money Maker KC ROYALS |

Tigers -130 v. Pirates | | 2-1 |
Win | 100 | 5 h 2 m | Show |
Taking the TIGERS. This Pirates team looks like a bad bunch. 3-12 on the year! Not hitting. Bad Pitching. Terrible combo for winning games. Turnbull with 14Ks in his 11 innings of work giving up just 6 hits. A nice .154 BA Against -- Worth the shot at this short price. 4* Money Maker DETROIT TIGERS |
08-08-20 |
Astros v. A's -131 | | 1-3 |
Win | 100 | 20 h 49 m | Show |
Taking OAKLAND. A's wasting little time taking advantage of Houston. Last year, 7-3 vs the Astros. I think we see more of the same in this abbreviated season. Houston banged up offensively with Springer and Alvarez hurting. That is 66 HRs out of the lineup. Altuve hitting .192 - Bregman .235. You have Correa and Brantley hitting well but I don't see these guys 8-8 with 8 solo homers today. Every team out to prove something against the 'Trash Can Gang'. This is all about Montas on the hill, and he has been getting better each start. 4* Money Maker OAKLAND A's |
08-07-20 |
Rockies -102 v. Mariners | | 8-4 |
Win | 100 | 24 h 16 m | Show |
Taking the ROCKIES. Who had Colorado jumping out to a 9-3 record ? This line looks a little too good to be true, but I will bite. Seattle has put up a couple wins, but I am not buying this team. Senzatela has been solid in his 2 starts. Just 11 innings, but 9 K's and 10 hits. That will keep you in games. Big improvement off last years 6.71 ERA last year in 25 starts. Colorado playing well, will back the small fave. 4* Money Maker COLORADO ROCKIES |
08-07-20 |
Yankees -108 v. Rays | | 0-1 |
Loss | -108 | 22 h 39 m | Show |
Taking the YANKS. Tanaka will be on a pitch count again. But he has solid number career vs Rays. 10-4 3.20 ERA in 18 starts. Yanks have been as advertised so far. Offense in gear. Tampa slumping out of the gate. Snell not the 2018 version. Remember that guy? 21-5 1.89 ERA. Well his 2019 has carried over to 2020 through his 2 starts. 5 innings of work, 7 hits 3 runs and opposing hitters slapping him to a .304 BA Against. Lay it with the short faves. 4* Money Maker NY YANKEES |

Indians v. Reds -117 | | 2-3 |
Win | 100 | 23 h 9 m | Show |
Going UNDER the total and also taking the REDS with Sonny Gray. Both he and Plesac should be able to limit the hitters here. Both teams not exactly crushing it on offense lately. Gray with 20Ks in his 2 starts, and Plesac fanned 11 in his gem first start. 4* Total Money UNDER Indians/Reds |
08-03-20 |
Phillies +302 v. Yankees | | 3-6 |
Loss | -100 | 22 h 29 m | Show |
Taking the PHILLIES. I know it is not a 'regular' season like normal. But I do know that the Yanks after playing Boston always seem a bit flat. And I get that Cole is unlike anyone the Yanks have wheeled out on the hill in some time. That being said - Philly has been off and rested. They are chomping at the bit to get back. At this price, we have to back the big dog. 4* Money Maker PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES |
08-02-20 |
Indians v. Twins -112 | | 1-3 |
Win | 100 | 6 h 7 m | Show |
Taking the TWINS. Neither of today's starters impress me that much. But at this price, we will back Minny based on the lineup. Indians 8-1 to the under to start the season. 4* Money Maker MINNESOTA TWINS |
08-01-20 |
Red Sox +181 v. Yankees | | 2-5 |
Loss | -100 | 20 h 28 m | Show |
Taking the RED SOX. Godley was decent in relief in his first appearance for the Sox. Tanaka last year was hammered by Boston. This is his first start back since getting drilled. At this price, we will grab a dog that is familiar with, and has success hitting against opposing pitcher. 4* Money Maker BOSTON RED SOX |
07-30-20 |
Dodgers v. Diamondbacks +144 | | 6-3 |
Loss | -100 | 9 h 54 m | Show |
Taking ARIZONA. Lost with thees guys yesterday - but I will back Ray here as a dog. Arizona 12-7 lifetime vs LA with Ray on hill. Ray 8-5 3.15 in those 20 starts. 4* Money Maker ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS |
07-30-20 |
Nationals v. Blue Jays -130 | | 6-4 |
Loss | -130 | 19 h 4 m | Show |
Taking the JAYS, again. Will back Ryu in this spot. Look at this line. Tells you all you need to know about the defending champs. They are struggling right now. 4* Money Maker TORONTO BLUE JAYS |
07-29-20 |
Cardinals v. Twins -147 | | 0-3 |
Win | 100 | 22 h 28 m | Show |
Taking the TWINS. I wanted some Rich Hill the other day and he was a scratch. I will come back with him today though. Guy is really good when healthy. Just the facts here - Twins are a great offensive team. Best in MLB though the short season so far. Ponce De Leon is a serviceable pitcher. In his two years, he has been nothing but solid. Just don't know how he is going to do vs this Minny lineup. Big number for me to lay as I am more of a dog guy. But I like Hill and this offense. 4* Money Maker MINNESOTA TWINS |
07-29-20 |
Nationals v. Blue Jays +164 | | 4-0 |
Loss | -100 | 21 h 51 m | Show |
Taking the BLUE JAYS. I get Mad Max is a beast. Had him in a losing effort. But I will go with the young big stud - Nate Pearson. Top Jays prospect and he throws heat. This is a team that has some young boppers. Nats offense not something I am backing right now. Rendon is in LA. Soto out. Zimmerman out. We're going with the nice dogs here. 4* Money Maker TORONTO BLUE JAYS |
07-29-20 |
Diamondbacks +115 v. Rangers | | 4-7 |
Loss | -100 | 18 h 17 m | Show |
Taking the DBACKS. Will back MadBum on the hill. But this is really just fading Texas. The offense has been terrible so far. Not going to back a team that is last in the league in runs and average (.168 before last night game!). Now, Arizona lineup hasn't been much better. But I will chalk some of that up to the Padres young, but talented pitching staff. Let's be honest. Raise your hands last time you heard baseball people saying how the Colorado Rockies pitching staff is going to own opposing hitters through 5 games. 8 runs in 5 games. Arizona all day. 4* Money Maker ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS |

07-27-20 |
Mets v. Red Sox +105 | | 7-4 |
Loss | -100 | 5 h 55 m | Show |
Taking the RED SOX. Look - I need 2 innings from Osich here. Guy is a reliever and, let's be honest, could be an absolute crap shoot. Mets aren't exactly my most feared offense. A guy like this should be able to navigate an inning or two without any real trouble. Wacha is an up and down pitcher. I am not going to list every season from 2015-2019. But this should be a 'good' year for him. No Thor or Stroman, and here he is in a starting spot. I just think this Red Sox line-up should hit a mediocre starter. JD, Devers, Bradley, Bogie, I can go on. The bats are there. Zach Godley expected to come in for majority of innings for Boston. At a dog price, worth it. 4* Money Maker BOSTON RED SOX |
07-27-20 |
Diamondbacks +115 v. Padres | | 2-6 |
Loss | -100 | 2 h 40 m | Show |
Taking the DIAMONDBACKS. I like me some Luke Weaver. Kid was a 1st rounder for the Cardinals. That's an organization that knows a think or two about drafting. He was more than solid for ARZ last year before getting injured. If we get 4 runs this afternoon, should be a nice day for us with Luke on the hill. 4* Money Maker ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS |
07-27-20 |
Angels +110 v. A's | | 0-3 |
Loss | -100 | 1 h 14 m | Show |
Taking the ANGELS. Like Canning. Youngster was solid as a rookie last season. I do like the A's. Have that AL West Future on them. But the Angels could be a surprise team if their pitching over-achieves a bit. Bassitt a flex kind of pitcher. Starter/reliever - where ever he is needed. 4* Money Maker LA ANGELS |
07-26-20 |
Braves +105 v. Mets | | 14-1 |
Win | 105 | 10 h 14 m | Show |
Taking the BRAVES, again. We have been on these guys all series, and will do it again here on Sunday night. Rick Porcello - Guy went 14-12 with a 5.52 ERA and hitters slapping him to a nearly .280 average. I think the Mets lineup is OK, but they aren't the Red Sox of last year. 4* Money Maker ATLANTA BRAVES |
07-26-20 |
Marlins +144 v. Phillies | | 11-6 |
Win | 144 | 4 h 24 m | Show |
Taking the MARLINS. Had these guys opening night, will come back again with the doggy. I will also be on the OVER in this match-up if that is something you would be interested in. So we will grab Urena over Velasquez. Both guys not so great. Miami beat up Vince pretty good giving him a 7+ ERA in 5 starts. Urena posted a 1.80 ERA in his 2 starts vs Phillies going 14 innings 3 earned and 11Ks. 4* Money Maker MIAMI MARLINS |
07-25-20 |
Braves -101 v. Mets | | 5-3 |
Win | 100 | 18 h 54 m | Show |
Taking the BRAVES, again. Will back ATL here. Both these guys with decent numbers vs the other team. Nothing really jump out there. What we look at in the future is Matz on the road. His home/road splits were crazy last season. He does pitch better at home . That being said though, I expect Atlanta to crack into the win column this afternoon. 4* Money Maker ATLANTA BRAVES |
07-25-20 |
Pirates +152 v. Cardinals | | 1-9 |
Loss | -100 | 16 h 8 m | Show |
Taking the PIRATES. Not sure what happened to Williams last year. He was solid in 2018 (14-10 3.11 ERA 31 starts), but was bombed in some starts that really inflated his ERA. Where he wasn't bombed though was in his starts vs STL. 12 innings 14 hits 3 runs 2 earned 3 BB 12 Ks. Wainwright is a guy I have been on fade mode for the last couple years. He was decent with 14-10 record. But he is still priced like it 5 years ago. You wont go wrong fading a guy laying 160+ for 30 starts and his team record in those games are .500 - 4* Money Maker PITT PIRATES |
07-24-20 |
Royals v. Indians -215 | | 0-2 |
Win | 100 | 21 h 2 m | Show |
Taking the INDIANS. Now. You will rarely see me taking big faves like this. But I trust Bieber enough to get us the win. The Tribe lineup makes me double think the RL. Duffy vs the Indians is a straight fade for me. KC 1-10 when he faces Cleveland. Not winning many games putting up a 8.17 ERA and 1.85 WHIP lifetime vs a division rival as a starter. Indians were a 93 win non playoff team last year. The infield is fierce. Expanded playoffs are nice, but this staff should be the best in the division. 4* Money Maker CLEVELAND INDIANS |
07-24-20 |
Marlins +175 v. Phillies | | 5-2 |
Win | 175 | 11 h 39 m | Show |
Taking the MARLINS. Alcantara more than holds his own vs Philly - 3-1 2.81 ERA and a .130 BAA in 4 starts. Yes I might be a bit biased here in a short season thinking big of Miami. But the short season dictates we think a bit different, especially to start the year. Nola believe it or not is just 3-6 in 13 career starts vs Miami with a decent 3.28 ERA. At this price, we have to take the dogs. 4* Money Maker MIAMI MARLINS |
07-24-20 |
Braves +132 v. Mets | | 0-1 |
Loss | -100 | 18 h 20 m | Show |
Taking the BRAVES. Back to back CY's for DeGrom. Not saying the guy isn't a beast. But, he will be limited today. Let's not forget he is just 7-7 lifetime vs Braves in 21 starts (1.97 ERA!) LY he went 1-2 in 4 starts with for him, a huge 3.08 ERA. For whatever the reason, Atlanta just can do damage when they have to. Enter Soroka for ATL. Runner up ROY to Mets Alphonso. Awesome on the road - 1.55 ERA in 16 road starts 98.2 innings .96 WHIP 7-1 record. Braves looking to repeat as NL East Champs. NYM already dealing with injuries to their starters. Somethings never change. 4* Money Maker ATLANTA BRAVES |
10-30-19 |
Nationals +125 v. Astros | | 6-2 |
Win | 125 | 11 h 54 m | Show |
Taking the NATS again. So this is it. Been on these guys since the Wild-Card game. Not getting off the train before the last stop. Don't really know what we get from Mad Max tonight. Guy had neck problems the other day. What is huge for us is we have Sanchez, rested and ready to come in and close things down. Astros had to hit the bullpen last night. Maybe they go Cole for an inning or 2. Greinke has gone 5 innings or more just once in his 4 post season starts this year. 1 run allowed in each of last 2 starts. But, just 4.1 and 4.2 innings. And 3 and 4 walks in each. This is going to be a grinder or a slug fest. Think Nats have the edge based on Sanchez lurking. and lets not forget Soto and Rendon factors. They sucked the life out of the stadium last night. 4* Money Maker WASHINGTON NATIONALS |
10-29-19 |
Nationals +163 v. Astros | | 7-2 |
Win | 163 | 32 h 56 m | Show |
Taking the NATS with Stras on the hill. Can't believe they go home and drop all 3. I can't even remember the last time home teams have dropped 5 straight in World Series play. I am sure it is out there somewhere. That does not concern us here. We have the better pitcher on the hill. Plan and simple. Verlander has been good. But Stras has been on another level. Have to take him at this price. 4* Money Maker WASHINGTON NATIONALS |
10-25-19 |
Astros v. Nationals +116 | | 4-1 |
Loss | -100 | 35 h 34 m | Show |
Taking the NATIONALS, again. 3rd time in the series. And why not. We've knocked off their aces and face Greinke who is a step down. Sanchez with some nice career post season numbers. 2.57 ERA 10 games, 9 of them starts. How about in his 2 starts this year, .71 ERA .63 WHIP. Greinke with a 6.43 ERA in his 3 starts this post season. 6 vs Tampa, then 4 vs NYY then 1 run. But that 1 run was 4+ innings as he also had 4 walks and 3 hits to go with 5 Ks. Inconsistent to say the least. Nats again with house money on the table. Pressure mounting for Houston. Again, Sanchez pitching great in the playoffs. Plus money and the confidence of the Nats get the call. 4* Money Maker WASHINGTON NATIONALS |
10-23-19 |
Nationals +167 v. Astros | | 12-3 |
Win | 167 | 12 h 40 m | Show |
Taking the NATIONALS, again. How the heck are we catching this number with Stras. Guy has been un-hittable this postseason with a 1.64 ERA 33Ks 1 walk in 22 innings good for a .89 WHIP. Career playoff numbers of 1.10 ERA in 41 innings 57Ks .90 WHIP. Great regular season numbers and just improved down the stretch. Pressure on Verlander and the Astros. Verlander 1-2 in 4 playoff starts this year with a respectable 3.70 ERA. BUt 18 hits in 24 innings including 5 HRs contributing to 5 runs. Verlander is 0-4 with a 5.67 ERA in 5 World Series starts. Edge right now with Washington. 4* Money Maker WASHINGTON NATIONALS |
10-22-19 |
Nationals +201 v. Astros | | 5-4 |
Win | 201 | 47 h 36 m | Show |
Taking the NATIONALS. We have been on these guys since the Wild-Card Game, and will be on them all series long. I get Cole had an awesome year. But Scherzer is a bulldog who will not give an inch. Nats playing with the proverbial house money. Road team steals Game 1 here on the road. 4* Money Maker WASHINGTON NATIONALS |
10-19-19 |
Yankees +131 v. Astros | | 4-6 |
Loss | -100 | 10 h 5 m | Show |
Taking the YANKEES. Will also come in on the OVER in this Game 6 battle. Bullpen a clear edge for the Yanks. But I think runs will be scored. 4* Money Maker NY YANKEES |
10-17-19 |
Astros v. Yankees -128 | | 8-3 |
Loss | -128 | 12 h 34 m | Show |
Taking the YANKEES. Fading Greinke again. Huge game for the Yankees with Verlander and Cole lurking. Tanaka solid at home this year going 8-3 3.10 ERA 1.09 WHIP and .238 BA Against. Post Season numbers in 7 starts, a .73 WHIP and 1.32 ERA. Greinke not as good. An 8.38 ERA in his 2 starts vs Tampa and NY this season. Last year in 2 post season starts a 7.27 ERA. 2013-14-15. Ok, He had solid numbers. But that's the past. Yanks at home with this short number. We'll lay it. 4* Money Maker (also liking the Under 8.5 here. I'm expecting Tanaka to be sharp, but I don't expect see 9+ runs tonight as NYY only have a couple guys hitting right now.) |
10-15-19 |
Cardinals v. Nationals -155 | Top | 4-7 |
Win | 100 | 11 h 52 m | Show |
Taking the NATIONALS. Up 3-0. Big play tonight to wrap things up. Teams up 3-0 rarely lose. We have seen it a handful of times. But STL has looked anemic at the dish this series. Nats are just playing so well right now. Corbin at home this season was excellent. 8-2 2.40 ERA in 16 starts with a .199 BA Against and a .99 WHIP. Don't be fooled by this 7+ Post Season ERA. In his lone start vs LAD, 6 innings 3 hits 9 Ks 1 earned. He came in relief, gave up 6 in 2/3rds of an inning. His other 2 relief starts 1.2 innings 3Ks.. I will chalk that up to an unfamiliar role. In his regular spot here, I think we see what he did all season at home. Send in the clowns. Cards had their 'ace' blasted last night. Totally deflates their confidence. 10* Money Bomb WASHINGTON NATIONALS |
10-15-19 |
Astros v. Yankees +153 | | 4-1 |
Loss | -100 | 19 h 24 m | Show |
Taking the YANKEES with Sevie. Well, we know Severino is rested. 12 innings to end the regular season, 2 runs, but 6 walks. Expected as to be rusty coming back, but also 17Ks. Vs Minny in first round, 4 innings. So what to we get tonight. Probably more of the same. One, Cole was a beast this year. And Sevie, well safe to say his post season numbers are not pretty at all. This is more a value play on NYY. They can go to the pen in a scoreless 4th and go 9-10-11 innings. Keep Happ out of our sight though. Beating a Tampa team twice is one thing. Facing a Bomber team that has just as much as power as his own team is another. 4* Money Maker NY YANKEES |
10-14-19 |
Cardinals v. Nationals -123 | | 1-8 |
Win | 100 | 43 h 17 m | Show |
Taking the NATIONALS. Going with our boys again. Look. Flaherty is aces. Guy is very good. But we have our own ace on the hill. Strasburg has been super in post-season play, a 1.32 ERA and .88 WHIP. At this price, we can't not take Stras. Again, Flaherty has been awesome the last 2 months. No pressure last game when your team puts a 10 spot up before you step on the mound. Don't think it will be that easy tonight. A lot of pressure right now down 0-2. 4* Money Maker WASHINGTON NATIONALS |
10-13-19 |
Yankees +145 v. Astros | | 2-3 |
Loss | -100 | 20 h 50 m | Show |
Taking the YANKEES. Nice 4-1 last 5 on the bases, let's keep it going with the Bombers. I get it. Verlander a beast. But, Astros not hitting so far this post-season. Just a .224 clip so far. Paxton with ok numbers vs Houston. Pressure is on, let's see if Yanks, with house money, take care of business again. 4* Money Maker NY YANKEES |
10-12-19 |
Yankees +148 v. Astros | | 7-0 |
Win | 148 | 10 h 53 m | Show |
Taking the YANKEES. Give me Tanaka and his career 1.54 post-season ERA (6 starts .80 WHIP). If are going to kill the Scherzers and Kershaws for playoff failures, let's elevate Tanaka. How about Greinke's 9+ ERA his last 3 post season starts? Tampa gave Houston all they could handle. NYY have the bats to match the Astros. Cole and Verlander can't pitch in all 7 games. 4* Money Maker NY YANKEES |
10-12-19 |
Nationals -138 v. Cardinals | | 3-1 |
Win | 100 | 6 h 56 m | Show |
Taking the NATIONALS, again. Just the better team. I know Mad Max doesn't have the post-season numbers. But I am not backing Wainwright in any shape. He is a literal junk tosser now. Gave a huge effort last start vs Braves. I am not buying the last hurrah. Give me Washington to take a huge 2-0 lead today. 4* Money Maker WASHINGTON NATIONALS |
10-11-19 |
Nationals +108 v. Cardinals | | 2-0 |

Taking the NATS. Have been on these guys since their Wild Card Game, not backing off now. Great outing by Sanchez last round. 9Ks in 5 innings of work. Thought he would be first guy out of pen the way he pitched in his lone start. But we get him here. And why not. Solid post season numbers - 9 games, 8 starts. Ok, a 2-5 record - 2.98 ERA 1.18 WHIP 55 Ks in 48 innings. And a nice little regular season. How about a .97 WHIP down the stretch his last 7 starts. Mikolas 9-14 on the year. Yes, better home stats. That's easy though when you post a 5.40 road ERA and .290 BA against. I have said it on several radio shows and videos since the Brewers Series. Nats playing with house money all playoffs long. No Bryce. No pressure. They aren't expected to win anything. Needed a huge run just to get here. Come back wins to advance. Something just says this is their year to get to the World Series. 4* Money Maker WASHINGTON NATIONALS |

Taking the NATIONALS. Will grab Stras as small dog to push Washington into the NLCS. Guy has been great in post-season play. Stras with the .61 ERA in 5 post-season games in his career. I get it. Not a huge pool of games, but he is on when he is in. 10Ks in Game 2. I don't even want 10Ks. I want like 4, so he can the distance! Can't knock Buehler at all. Guy hasn't allowed a run 16.2 post season innings. Do you really have faith in either of these bullpens? Tell you what. I won't be shocked to see Sanchez come in for some key outs late for the Nats. Upset City. 4* Money Maker WASHINGTON NATIONALS |

Taking the BRAVES. Tough to fade Flaherty who was nearly untouchable at times in the second half. But this has been a tale of 2 season for Folty also. He has been rock solid since his return from Triple A. All hands on deck in this game. I give the edge to Atlanta. 4* Money Maker ATLANTA BRAVES |

Taking the NATIONALS. Had the Dodgers RL last night, but also locked in on a 8/1 ticket on the Nats to win the NL. Give me some Strasburg tonight. How about a .41 Post Season ERA in 22 innings for Stras in 4 games. Granted, not the sample size of Kershaw, who people think is a failure in the playoffs. This is a nice price for a live dog. Washington is a pretty good team. I am not a fan of either bullpen. They both can go to gas can status quickly. Strasburg 1-1 2.08 ERA in two starts vs Dodgers this season and 3-5 2.54 ERA in 11 career starts vs LAD. Kershaw not too shaby vs Nats - 12-3 with a 2.23 ERA in 17 career games. 4* Money Maker WASHINGTON NATIONALS |

Taking the CARDINALS. What a comeback win yesterday - and to hold on. Wow. Let's face it. Braves up against it after a great season. Have to back Flaherty here. A .91 ERA his last 15 starts with a .71 WHIP. Just dealing right now. A tale of 2 season for Folty. A 6.37 ERA his first 11 starts - A 2.65 ERA in 10 starts following a trip to Triple A. Pressure firmly on Atlanta here. You don't need to be pressing at the plate facing this guy. Short number. Look for STL to take hold of the series. 4* Money Maker STL CARDS |

Taking OAKLAND here. Now. I do like both of these guys. Shame they have to play in a one game playoff. It is like getting a pair of Mid-Majors in that 8/9 or 5/12 game in the NCAAs. You want to back the Sun Belt, Patriot or Big West. But no. You are staring at the Ohio Valley, Summit or CAA darling you had circled! Two low payroll teams showing the big boys how to win. Uh.. Rant over - So I like the A's to advance. One. I think their bullpen is a bit better. Two. The lineup has much more punch than the Rays. 3 - Manaea. We get this guy out of the gate, we are looking strong. 5 starts, 4-0 with a 1.21 ERA. A .78 WHIP on the year. Listen. This is no knock on Charlie Morton. 16-6 3.05 ERA on the year 240 Ks. Guy is good. Probably will see a little Glasnow if he gets in trouble along the way. Again. I just think they A's have enough offense to push across the runs here. Low scoring and we will also be on the UNDER. 5* Best Bet OAKLAND A's |

Taking the NATIONALS. Think Stras has an outside shot at the Cy Young. To nail it down, he needs some wins in my opinion. Twins good, but sending average at best pitcher to the hill. Washington can hit a bit and should take advantage of Perez who has a home ERA of 4.71. 4* Money Maker WASHINGTON NATIONALS |

Taking the BRAVES. I'll grab Atlanta at this price. And why not. 9-1 last 10, 17-3 last 20 and winners of 20 of their last 25. This is why they are running away with the NL East. Folty pitching better since his Triple A recall. Nola has solid numbers at home. But in this spot, have to take the value on the road dog. 4* Money Maker ATLANTA BRAVES |

Taking OAKLAND. Sign me up for some Friers at home. Thought the line was a little low for NY last night and here they are a dog. But they should be. Happ has been brutal. Last 4 starts with a 6+ ERA. A 6 ERA his last 15 starts. 5.40 on the year. 5.20 on the road in 10 starts. Fiers a 2.52 ERA his last 15 starts. How about this- Since April 28th, Fiers with the 2nd lowest ERA among all American League starters (2.52). 2.89 at home in 14 starts with a 1.04 WHIP. 4* Money Maker OAKLAND A's |

Nationals -117 v. Pirates | | 13-0 |
Win | 100 | 5 h 58 m | Show |
Taking the NATIONALS. Yeah. I will bite on the low hanging fruit. I always tell you the truth with me. Win or lose. And this MLB season - it's been a loser. The no way looks to easy games have been rolling. The huge favorites continue to roll. And that hurts a dog player like me. Because I can't lay -250 and now -300 and even -400 numbers. It will be a grind the next month on the bases for sure. But we have NFL and CFB which if you look at the past years on the leaderboards, I have been dominating (#1 in NFL 2017 season. Top 5 NFL + CFB last year) -- So Joe Ross. He's dealing. A .50 ERA last 18 innings. Pirates at times look like they have thrown in the towel. Give me Washington battling for a playoff spot. 4* Money Maker WASHINGTON NATIONALS |
