04-08-24 | Purdue v. Connecticut -6.5 | Top | 60-75 | Win | 100 | 21 h 52 m | Show |
Purdue vs Connecticut 9:30 ET Huskies (-) over Boilermakers- Like I said last time out, ‘until someone beats this team there is no reason to play against the Huskies.’ Yes, of course, unless you are up against Zack Edey the Two-time NCAA Payer of the Year! Both of these clubs are championship worthy and I was surprised the opening number was as high as it was at -6.5. Most of my west coast Vegas friends like I believe the price would be Connecticut around -3...but of course my east coast people showed their bias and said it could have been higher. Now, my thoughts are who’s instincts are better. Las Vegas is very sharp and I respect their opinion as I do New York but in actuality as to who would have more influence over the outcome?...Straight-up, if this game was played without referees (I was one of them) I see Connecticut getting the best of a very good team The key of course is Zack Edey and I wonder after what I saw if he has been up against a player with the size and the talent of UConn’s 7’2’ 285 Lbs center Donovan Clingan who had four blocks against Alabama and controlled the boards. Take CONNECTICUT!
04-06-24 | Alabama v. Connecticut -11.5 | 72-86 | Win | 100 | 23 h 52 m | Show
Alabama vs Connecticut 8:50 ET Huskies (-) over Crimson Tide- UConn is two games away from back-to-back NCAA men's basketball championships, and the Huskies have history on their side as they prepare to face Alabama in the second national semifinal Saturday night. UConn (35-3), the top-ranked team in the nation, is 10-1 in Final Four and championship games all-time. No program has a better mark. The Huskies own a 69-32 record in the NCAA Tournament, and they won both their meetings with the Crimson Tide. While all five of UConn's starters average in double figures and the Huskies can be just as dangerous on defense. The Huskies haven't allowed more than 58 points to an opponent since March 15. Alabama (25-11) is in its first Final Four, and the Crimson Tide have also played strong defense to get to within two wins of a national championship. Alabama leads all NCAA Tournament teams in blocked shots per game with six. Until proven otherwise...take CONNECTICUT!
04-06-24 | NC State v. Purdue -9 | Top | 50-63 | Win | 100 | 20 h 25 m | Show |
NC State vs Purdue 6:05 ET Boilermakers (-) over Wolfpack- Purdue has won 21 consecutive non-conference, regular season or postseason games against power conference or nationally ranked teams. That equals the second longest such streak in NCAA history. Purdue is looking for its first national championship. The Boilermakers have played for the title just once, losing to John Wooden's UCLA team 92-72 in 1969. Their last trip to the Final Four came in 1980, when they lost again to UCLA. On the line for Zack Edey and Purdue (33-4) and DJ Burns Jr. and the Wolfpack (26-14) is a trip to Monday's championship game against the winner of the semifinal between UConn and Alabama. Edey will take center stage Saturday in the first national semifinal when the Boilermakers, the No. 1 seed in the East Region, meet tournament Cinderella North Carolina State, who advanced despite being the No. 11 seed in the South Region. The Wolfpack were never ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 all season. The big man too tough for State...take PURDUE!
04-04-24 | Indiana State v. Seton Hall +3.5 | Top | 77-79 | Win | 100 | 9 h 17 m | Show |
Indiana State vs Seton Hall 9:00 ET Pirates (+) over Sycamores- Indiana State (32-6) and Seton Hall (24-12) are both No. 1 seeds and certainly have looked the part over the last four games. The Sycamores have been impressive offensively, averaging 90.5 points in wins over SMU, Minnesota, Cincinnati and Utah. The Sycamores took advantage of a partisan crowd in the win over Utah, as the Final Four is being played fewer than 100 miles from the Indiana State campus in Terre Haute. Hinkle Fieldhouse will likely be loaded with Indiana State fans again on Thursday, but not much has rattled Seton Hall in this tournament. The Pirates slipped past Saint Joseph's in overtime in their NIT opener before posting double-digit wins over North Texas, UNLV and Georgia. Take SETON HALL!
04-02-24 | Georgia +4.5 v. Seton Hall | 67-84 | Loss | -107 | 21 h 30 m | Show
Georgia vs Seton Hall 9:30 ET Bulldogs (+) over Pirates- A spot in the NIT championship awaits as the top-seeded Pirates (23-12) battle the fourth-seeded Bulldogs (20-16) in a semifinal on Tuesday in Indianapolis. The winner will remain in town to face either Utah or Indiana State in the final on Thursday. Seton Hall was among a handful of schools that received an NIT invitation after just missing out on the premier tournament while Georgia has used its fortunate NIT invitation to orchestrate its own tournament success. Georgia's NIT bid was originally reserved for Ole Miss before the Rebels opted out of the postseason. The Bulldogs have proven they belong in the NIT, rattling off three straight wins to move within one victory of the program's first-ever NIT championship game berth. Take GEORGIA!
04-02-24 | Utah +3.5 v. Indiana State | Top | 90-100 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 52 m | Show |
Utah vs Indiana State 7:00 ET Utes (+) over Sycamores- Utah (22-14) closed its regular season with eight losses in its final 12 games, followed by a defeat to Colorado in the Pac-12 tournament quarterfinals. Still, the Utes earned an NIT bid as a No. 2 seed and they've certainly made the most of their opportunity. Utah's bumpy finish to the postseason feels like a distant memory at this point. The resurgent Utes find themselves in the NIT Final Four in Indianapolis, where they will battle Indiana State (and likely a large contingent of Sycamore fans) in Tuesday's first semifinal. The top-seeded Sycamores (31-6), who gave up 92 points to SMU in their NIT opener and Indiana State yielded 81 points in a four-point win over Cincinnati in the quarterfinals. Great season for State but the difference in the level of competition played with be on display tonight. Take UTAH!
03-31-24 | NC State v. Duke -7 | 76-64 | Loss | -109 | 6 h 8 m | Show
N.C. State vs Duke 5:20 ET Blue Devils (-) over Wolfpack- Atlantic Coast Conference foes Duke and North Carolina State will play Sunday for the third time this month, and the plight of one of the squads is entirely different from just four weeks ago. No. 11 seed NC State is looking for its ninth consecutive victory after reaching the Elite Eight for the first time since 1986. The once underachieving Wolfpack (25-14) are now a team on a mission as they enter the showdown with the fourth-seeded Blue Devils (27-8) in Dallas, with the winner of the South Region title contest earning a spot in the Final Four. These two met twice 10 days apart in March on the 4th and 14th with each winning on the others floor, the last of which was a Wolfpack win in Durham. This time around...take DUKE!

Tennessee vs Purdue 2:20 ET Volunteers (+) over Boilermakers- Top-seeded Purdue faces No. 2 seed Tennessee in an Elite Eight, Midwest Region matchup attempting to reach the Final Four for the first time since 1980. The Boilermakers (32-4) have won their first three tournament games by double digits, including an 80-68 win Friday over No. 5 Gonzaga. Purdue’s Zach Edey, the potential National Player of the Year for the second straight season has 27 points and 14 rebounds in Purdue’s win over the Bulldogs. Purdue faces the Volunteers (27-8) for the second time this season, having defeated Tennessee 71-67 in the Maui Invitational in November. But unlike the rematch against the Zags the Boilermakers may have a bit more struggles against the Volunteers defense. Take TENNESSEE!
03-30-24 | Clemson +3.5 v. Alabama | Top | 82-89 | Loss | -108 | 11 h 59 m | Show |
Clemson vs Alabama 8:50 ET Tigers (+) over Crimson Tide- Saturday's NCAA Tournament West Regional final matchup pitting No. 4 seed Alabama against No. 6 seed Clemson comes with a guarantee to be a landmark moment for either program, as each is vying for its first Final Four spot in school history. The two have faced off in the national title game three times since the inauguration of the College Football Playoff in 2014 which is one time more than either basketball program has appeared in the NCAA Tournament's Elite Eight, including Saturday's contest. Alabama (24-11) beat top-seeded North Carolina 89-87 on Thursday to reach its first Elite Eight since 2004 and it will be difficult for them to maintain that level of play. Defeating Carolina was a huge accomplishment and they are riding high right now. Clemson (24-11) is playing its first Elite Eight game since 1980 after beating No. 2 seed Arizona 77-72 on Thursday. The regional-final round might be unfamiliar territory for the Crimson Tide and Tigers, but the teams know each other. Clemson knocked off Alabama in Tuscaloosa, 85-77 on Nov. 28 and they are ready to do it again. Take CLEMSON!
03-30-24 | Illinois +8.5 v. Connecticut | 52-77 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 16 m | Show
Illinois vs Connecticut 6:05 ET Fighting Illini (+) over Huskies- Top-seeded UConn has put together a dominant NCAA Tournament run as the Huskies (34-3) have won their first three games of the tourney by an average of 28.7 points. The Fighting Illini may have the best player in the tourney in Terrence Shannon Jr., who poured in a game-high 29 points on 10-of-19 shooting in the 72-69 victory over Iowa State. Shannon has now scored at least 25 points in seven straight games dating back to the regular-season finale. Shannon leads the Fighting Illini at 23.5 points per game. Domask is second at 15.8 and Hawkins rounds out the top three at 12.3. The Huskies have been a bit more balanced, with five players averaging at least 10.9 points. UConn is looking to reach its seventh Final Four in program history as it continues its title defense. Illinois will attempt to wrap up the East Region to punch its sixth ticket to the Final Four, and the Fighting Illini's first since 2005. The Illini have enough talent to give the Huskies their first real test...take ILLINOIS!
03-29-24 | Creighton +3.5 v. Tennessee | 75-82 | Loss | -120 | 11 h 13 m | Show
Creighton vs Tennessee 10:10 ET Blue Jays (+) over Volunteers- Neither Tennessee or Creighton who have a combined 51 NCAA Tournament appearances have yet to make their first trip to the Final Four and a pair of victories would end that drought. Tennessee (26-8), the No. 2 seed, has one Elite Eight appearance in 2010. The Volunteers reached the Sweet 16 last season, then got upset by Florida Atlantic 62-55. No. 3 seed Creighton (25-9) had a tough time getting to Detroit after a 77-60 win over No. 14 seed Akron in the first round. The Bluejays were taken to double overtime by No. 11 seed Oregon before pulling out an 86-73 win. The Bluejays came agonizingly close to reaching the Final Four last spring, falling in the Elite Eight to San Diego State, 57-56. Creighton's three top scorers Baylor Scheierman, Alexander and Ryan Kalkbrenner also were their top three offensive threats last season. They'll take one more crack at ending the school's Final Four drought. They do it here...take CREIGHTON!
03-29-24 | Duke +4 v. Houston | 54-51 | Win | 100 | 11 h 3 m | Show
Duke and Houston 9:40 ET Blue Devils (+) over Cougars- Houston boasts the nation's top defensive unit and the fourth-seeded Blue Devils (26-8) face top-seeded Houston (32-4) in the Sweet 16 on Friday night in the South Region in Dallas. Houston has reached the Sweet 16 for the fifth straight NCAA Tournament but the Cougars were dispatched 89-75 by Miami in last year's Sweet 16. Houston almost was ousted Sunday before surviving 100-95 in overtime against ninth-seeded Texas A&M. The Cougars, who lead the nation in scoring defense (57.7 points per game) and field-goal- percentage defense (37.8). Houston is tied for 14th in 3-point-shooting defense at 30 percent. But, the Blue devils are patient and discipline enough to match the Cougars. Take DUKE
03-29-24 | Gonzaga v. Purdue -5.5 | 68-80 | Win | 100 | 9 h 44 m | Show
Gonzaga vs Purdue 7:40 ET Boilermakers (-) over Bulldogs- The Boilermakers and Bulldogs have faced each other during the regular season for two consecutive seasons. The stakes will be much higher in the Midwest Region semifinals. The top-seeded Boilermakers (31-4) have cruised through the first two rounds of the tournament, thrashing No. 16 seed Grambling 78-50 and No. 8 seed Utah State 106-67 in Indianapolis. In their first meeting this season, Purdue prevailed 73-63 in the quarterfinals of the Maui Invitational quarterfinals in November. Gonzaga (27-7) entered the tournament with less fanfare than usual as a No. 5 seed. The Bulldogs surprisingly had little trouble reaching the Sweet 16 after disposing of No. 12 McNeese 86-65 and No. 4 Kansas 89-68 during their first two games at Salt Lake City. the Bulldogs will have to deal with the nation's most dominant big man and his improved supporting cast. Take PURDUE!
03-28-24 | Alabama +4.5 v. North Carolina | Top | 89-87 | Win | 100 | 12 h 58 m | Show |

The Tar Heels come to Los Angeles aiming for their second Final Four under Hubert Davis and fourth since 2016. The Tar Heels will try to keep the high going against an Alabama team that reached the Sweet 16 for the third time in four seasons but is looking to secure its first Elite Eight appearance since 2004. The Crimson Tide (23-11) limped into the NCAA Tournament having gone 2-4 over their last six games before facing No. 13 seed Charleston last Friday. While Alabama's offense features four scorers averaging at least 11 points per game. Take ALABAMA!

UNLV at Seton Hall 7:30 ET Runnin’ Rebels (+) over Pirates- Seton Hall, an NCAA snub and a No. 1 seed in the NIT, will host UNLV in the quarterfinals on Wednesday in South Orange, N.J. The winner heads to Indianapolis next week for the tournament's semifinals and championship game. The Big East Conference got a mere three teams into the NCAA Tournament (and all three advanced to the Sweet 16), the conference's fourth-best squad has started 2-0 in the NIT. While the MWC who was 3-32 in NCAA Tournament games had six teams selected and UNLV was not one of them. UNLV (21-12) knocked off No. 2 seed Princeton and Boston College in its first two rounds. The Rebels are much better than they they are rated. Take UNLV!
03-24-24 | Yale +5.5 v. San Diego State | 57-85 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 51 m | Show
Yale vs San Diego State 9:40 ET Bulldogs (+) over Aztecs- The Yale Bulldogs can thank the officials for their upset of Auburn in Friday night's March Madness odds. By calling so many fouls, they set up Yale for success. Yale head coach James Jones recognizes his team is facing a talent gap in the NCAA Tournament, and he has repeatedly dragged out the games in order to lessen its impact. The Aztecs boast a Top 10 unit in the country, one built on forcing a lot of 3-pointers but contesting every look. Opponents took threes with 40.4% of their shots against the Aztecs this season, making just 30.6% of them. The Aztecs have boasted the 14th-best defense in the nation, per barttorvik.com. Yale has been a multi-score underdog only three times this season — and an underdog just seven out of 28 times. In those three games, the Bulldogs have gone 2-1 against the spread, including Friday’s outright win. Take YALE!
03-24-24 | Clemson +4.5 v. Baylor | 72-64 | Win | 100 | 8 h 22 m | Show
Clemson vs Baylor 6:10 ET Tigers (+) over Bears- *Sixth-seeded Clemson got a game-high 21 points from Chase Hunter on Friday and led by as many as 23 points in the second half of a 77-56 rout of the 11th-seeded Lobos. First-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference pick PJ Hall scored 12 of his 14 points in the first half as the Tigers (22-11) advanced to a second-round matchup Sunday against third-seeded Baylor, which brushed off No. 14 Colgate 92-67. Despite battling foul trouble, Hall displayed the inside-outside game that made him one of the toughest covers in the ACC. He has it again. Take CLEMSON!
03-24-24 | James Madison v. Duke -7 | Top | 55-93 | Win | 100 | 7 h 28 m | Show |
James Madison vs Duke 5:15 ET Blue Devils (-) over Dukes- James Madison (32-3), which extended the nation's longest active winning streak to 14 games, will play Duke in a second-round game Sunday. The fourth-seeded Blue Devils beat No. 13 Vermont 64-47 earlier Friday. The Dukes were a Megabucks winner over Wisconsin and this time it will be the ‘Dukies’ who with eight losses is not considered one of the Blue Devils. With James Madison's victory, a 12 seed has won at least one game against a five seed in 33 of the 39 NCAA Tournaments since it expanded to 64 teams in 1985. Take DUKE!
03-23-24 | Oregon v. Creighton -5 | 73-86 | Win | 100 | 18 h 20 m | Show
Oregon vs Creighton 9:30 ET Blue Jays (-) over Ducks- Oregon coach Dana Altman hails from Nebraska and spent 16 seasons leading Creighton, racking up a 327-176 record with seven NCAA Tournament appearances. He did not want the NCAA Tournament selection committee to pair Oregon and Creighton in the bracket, but that's exactly what happened and one reason is that he is aware of how tough the Bluejays can be. After the 11th-seeded Ducks (24-11) took down South Carolina 87-73 in the first round and they will face the third-seeded Bluejays (24-9) in Midwest Region. Coach Greg McDermott has taken the Bluejays to new heights and when they defeated Akron 77-60 on Thursday, it was McDermott's 10th NCAA Tournament win. There will be a showdown between 6-foot-11 Oregon center N'Faly Dante and 7-foot-1 Creighton center Ryan Kalkbrenner. Bluejays are mean and nasty and will ground the Ducks. Take CREIGHTON!
03-23-24 | Texas +6.5 v. Tennessee | Top | 58-62 | Win | 100 | 17 h 42 m | Show |
Texas vs Tennessee 8:00 ET Longhorns (+) over Volunteers- Second-seeded Tennessee (25-8) will meet seventh-seeded Texas (21-12) with the right to advance to the Sweet 16. For Tennessee coach Rick Barnes this is a homecoming of sorts. Texas coach Rodney Terry was an assistant coach under Barnes from 2002-11 at Texas, so he should be familiar with Barnes’ tactics. And there is more as Texas assistant coach Frank Haith was on Barnes' staff before becoming a head coach at Miami, Missouri and Tulsa and then rejoining the Longhorns. The Volunteers had some late-season slippage that probably cost them a No. 1 regional seed. Tennessee depends on toughness, and getting after it defensively is a big part of Barnes' formula for success. Texas scored a season-low point total in Thursday night's 56-44 dismissal of 10th-seeded Colorado State. The Longhorns know they probably need to ramp up production. Texas will join the SEC next season and gets a jump of the conference here. Take TEXAS!
03-23-24 | Virginia Tech +4 v. Ohio State | 73-81 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 43 m | Show
Virginia Tech at Ohio State 7:00 ET Holies (+) over Buckeyes- When No. 3 seed Virginia Tech plays at No. 2 Ohio State in the second round of the NIT on Saturday, each team feels its ability to overcome adversity has helped reach this point. Virginia Tech coach Mike Young noted the 74-58 first-round win over Richmond got off to a rocky start when the Hokies (19-14) made one of their first 16 shots and trailed 11-2 before settling down. The Buckeyes (21-13) had a similar experience in Tuesday's 88-83 win over Cornell in the first round. Ohio State trailed 19-9 against the upset-minded Big Red and did not put the game away until the final minute. OSU coach Chris Holtmann lost his job Feb. 14 and the Buckeyes are 7-2 under Jake Diebler since the firing. Ohio State removed the interim tag and named Diebler head coach last Sunday and it is time they fell short. Take VIRGINIA TECH!
03-23-24 | Michigan State +4.5 v. North Carolina | Top | 69-85 | Loss | -125 | 14 h 14 m | Show |
Michigan State vs North Carolina 5:30 ET Spartans (+) over Tar Heels- Top-seeded North Carolina (28-7) will play about a 2 1/2-hour drive away from its campus in Chapel Hill. Ninth-seeded Michigan State (20-14) has taken a winding road this season. North Carolina recorded a 90-62 win over No. 16 seed Wagner on Thursday while Michigan State turned out in nice numbers for the first-round game against No. 8 seed Mississippi State. The Tar Heels are 35-2 in NCAA Tournament games in the state of North Carolina. That mark is 13-1 in Charlotte but MSU coach Tom Izzo holds an NCAA Tournament-record 17 victories in games as a lower seed, including in Thursday's victory. North Carolina began the 2022-23 season with the No. 1 national ranking was were improperly seeded No. 1 and will fall to a club with big game experience. Take MICHIGAN STATE!

Kansas (23-10) has been eliminated in the second round in two of the past three years and won the NCAA title (2022) in the other. The Jayhawks struggled down the stretch of the season and lost four of five games prior to the start of March Madness. The Jayhawks lost their All-American forward Kevin McCullar Jr. but will rally here. Take KANSAS!
03-22-24 | Grand Canyon +5.5 v. St. Mary's | 75-66 | Win | 100 | 12 h 42 m | Show
Grand Canyon vs St. Mary’s 10:00T Antelopes (+) over Gaels- Grand Canyon the 12th-seed (29-4) seek their first NCAA Tournament victory on Friday night when they face fifth-seeded Saint Mary's (26-7) in a West Region first-round game at Spokane, Wash. Saint Mary's has won 23 of its past 25 games and ranks second nationally in scoring defense at an average of 58.7 points per game. Veteran coach Randy Bennett is an expert at milking possessions and getting the slower pace he prefers for his team. The Gaels are in the NCAA Tournament for a third straight season for the first time in school history Saint Mary's lost in the second round both times, to UCLA in 2022 and to eventual national champion UConn last season. Grand Canyon lost NCAA Tournament games to Iowa in 2021 and Gonzaga last season. Not this time. Take GRAND CANYON!
03-22-24 | James Madison +5.5 v. Wisconsin | Top | 72-61 | Win | 100 | 11 h 39 m | Show |
James Madison vs Wisconsin 9:40 ET Dukes (+) over Badgers- Fifth-seeded Wisconsin and 12th-seeded James Madison will begin NCAA Tournament play when they close out a quadruple-header at Barclays Center in a South Region first-round game. Wisconsin (22-13) received an at-large bid after losing to Illinois, 93-87, in the Big Ten championship game Sunday afternoon. James Madison (31-3) earned the Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid by cruising past Arkansas State, 91-71, in the conference championship game on March 11. Wisconsin, which missed the NCAA Tournament last season for just the second time since 1998, allowed fewer than 70 points in regulation in each of its first three Big Ten tourney games after allowing at least 70 points in nine of the last 11 regular season games. Few teams in the field enter the tournament playing better than James Madison, whose 31 wins are matched only by No. 1 UConn and whose 13-game winning streak is the longest in the nation. The trip to the NCAA Tournament is the sixth for James Madison and its first since 2013, when the Dukes were a 16th seed after earning the then-Colonial Athletic Association's automatic bid. Take JAMES MADISON!
03-22-24 | Texas A&M v. Nebraska +1.5 | 98-83 | Loss | -120 | 8 h 46 m | Show
Chip’s FREE NCAA Best Bet Winner Texas A&M vs Nebraska 6:50 ET Cornhuskers over Aggies- Texas A&M on Sunday celebrated like a mid-major when they found out they earned the No. 9 seed in the South Region opposite No. 8 Nebraska for a Friday first-round game in Memphis. They were ranked 15th when the season started, reached No. 12 just before Thanksgiving and then fell out of the polls for the rest of the campaign after a Dec. 10 home loss to Memphis. The Aggies (20-14) are playing with their best player playing at the top of his game. Guard Wade Taylor IV is coming off consecutive 30-point efforts that included six. The Cornhuskers (23-10) are making their first NCAA appearance in 10 years and are chasing history. They have never won an NCAA tourney game (0-7). Still, it is NEBRASKA!
03-22-24 | New Mexico -1.5 v. Clemson | 56-77 | Loss | -120 | 4 h 58 m | Show
New Mexico vs Clemson 3:10 ET Lobos (+) over Tigers- When 11th-seeded New Mexico challenges sixth-seeded Clemson in a first round West Region contest, it will put one of the nation's fastest-playing teams against one of its slower-paced ones. Clemson (21-11) built its NCAA resume off a 9-0 start that included five wins over tournament teams, including the likes of Alabama, South Carolina and TCU. The Tigers also bagged a rare win at North Carolina but only went 11-9 in a relatively mediocre Atlantic Coast Conference and were routed in the first round of the ACC tourney by Boston College. New Mexico (26-9), it more than earned its NCAA bid by winning four games in four days to capture the Mountain West tournament. That included a 68-61 win in the championship game over San Diego State on Saturday. Lobos coach Richard Pitino was less concerned about that and more frazzled about the fact that his dad, Rick Pitino, and his St. John's team landed on the wrong side of the bubble in a decision that surprised many experts. He will have his squad ready. Take NEW MEXICO!
03-21-24 | McNeese State +7 v. Gonzaga | 65-86 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 31 m | Show
McNeese State vs Gonzaga 7:25 ET Cowboys (+) over Bulldogs- McNeese State (30-3) is the 12th seed in the Midwest Region in their first appearance in 22 years as they prepare to face the fifth-seeded Bulldogss (25-7), who are making their 25th consecutive appearance, in the opening round Thursday in Salt Lake City. Gonzaga's appearance streak, which is third-longest in the country, appeared in jeopardy earlier in the season after the Zags fell out of the AP Top 25 for the first time in eight years. The Zags earned this bid by winning 15 of 16 games heading into the West Coast Conference tournament, where they defeated San Francisco before losing to top-seeded Saint Mary's. The Cowboys aren't used to the NCAA Tournament by any means, but first-year head coach Will Wade is. He took VCU to the NCAA Tournament in both of his seasons there and guided LSU to three NCAA Tournaments in his five seasons. The Southland Conference regular-season and tournament champions have won 11 games in a row and lead the country in scoring margin (18.9). Take MCNEESE STATE
03-21-24 | Colorado State +2.5 v. Texas | Top | 44-56 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 7 m | Show |
Colorado State vs Texas 6:50 ET Rams (+) over Longhorns- Seventh-seeded Texas (20-12) is in the NCAA Tournament for the 22nd time in the last 25 editions of the event. No. 10 seed Colorado State (25-10) is in the field for the second time in three years and has already padded its March credentials. The Rams throttled Virginia 67-42 in Tuesday night's First Four game in Dayton, Ohio. But that was just the fifth all-time NCAA Tournament victory for Colorado State and its first in 11 years.Texas, which is aiming for a first-round victory for the third season in a row after reaching the Elite Eight last season, lost two of its last three games coming in. The Longhorns haven't played since a March 13 setback to Kansas State in the Big 12 tournament's second round. The Rams want to build on the momentum from Tuesday night when they overwhelmed their opponent from the Atlantic Coast Conference. Now, they face a team in its final year in the Big 12. Since losing their last three games in February, the Rams have gone 5-1. Take COLORADO STATE!
03-21-24 | Morehead State +11.5 v. Illinois | 69-85 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 32 m | Show
Morehead State vs Illinois Eagles (+) over Fighting Illini- Illinois' inability to advance past the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament in its past three appearances isn't lost on players as they pivot their focus away from the regular season and a vaunted conference tourney. Morehead State enters on a six-game winning streak after losing three straight in mid-February. The Eagles have been on a continued run of success. Illinois cruised in the only previous meeting between the schools, earning a 110-75 home victory against Morehead State on Dec. 10, 1993. Look for over-rated and conference winning Illini to enter too cocky to cover, Take MOREHEAD STATE!
03-20-24 | Colorado v. Boise State +3 | Top | 60-53 | Loss | -109 | 9 h 23 m | Show |
Colorado vs Boise State 9:10 ET Broncos (+) over Buffaloes- Boise State is making a third consecutive appearance in the field and were shaken when their stock dropped and shock set-in that they were being sent to the play-in portion of the NCAA Tournament. The Broncos (22-10) meet Colorado (24-10) in the final game of the eight-team, pre-tournament on Wednesday night. Boise State had seven wins against NCAA Tournament teams and expected to be a part of the core group. The Broncos finished No. 26 in the NET rankings, which projected as the equivalent of a No. 7 seed. They were second in the Mountain West standings with a 13-5 record and the conference has six teams in the Field of 68. Boise State has four players averaging double-figures in scoring but still they are 0-9 all-time in the NCAA Tournament. That streak ends here. Take BOISE STATE!
03-19-24 | South Florida v. UCF -5 | 83-77 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 24 m | Show
South Florida at Central Florida 9:00 ET Panthers (-) over Bulls- The Bulls (24-7) will travel to play their biggest rival, fourth-seeded UCF (17-15), in a first-round NIT game on Tuesday night in Orlando, Fla. South Florida, coming off the first regular-season conference title in the program's 53-year history, is ready for its next challenge. The Bulls won the College Basketball Invitational in 2019, but this is their first time making the NCAA Tournament or NIT since 2012. The Bulls have never won an NIT game away from home, going 4-8 overall. UCF is in the NIT for the second straight year. While the Knights have won seven fewer games than the Bulls. UCF, in its first season in the Big 12 Conference, defeated three teams that were in the Top 25 at the time: No. 3 Kansas, No. 23 Oklahoma and No. 23 Texas Tech. UCF made it to the second round of last season's NIT, beating Florida and losing to Oregon. UCF coach Johnny Dawkins has won the NIT twice. The Bulls beat the Knights twice in 2022-23 but this time the cream rises. Take CENTRAL FLORIDA!.
03-19-24 | Kansas State v. Iowa -4.5 | 82-91 | Win | 100 | 10 h 23 m | Show
Kansas State vs Iowa 9:00 ET Hawkeyes (-) over Wildcats- With thoughts of making the NCAA Tournament gone, Kansas State and Iowa return to the hard court Tuesday night for a first-round game in the NIT in Iowa City, Iowa. The Hawkeyes (18-14) had a chance to make the big dance. They played six games against teams that ended up with top-3 seeds in the NCAA Tournament: Creighton, Purdue (twice), Iowa State and Illinois (twice). Iowa went a combined 0-6 in those games. Iowa is 10-8 all-time in the NIT, including finishing as the runner-up in 2013 while the Wildcats, who are 6-8 in the NIT. With the Wildcats winning against ranked competition and the Hawkeyes going 0-6 one would think Kansas State should be the favorite but, the odds makers thinks differently and and I believe them. Take IOWA!
03-19-24 | North Texas +3 v. LSU | Top | 84-77 | Win | 100 | 8 h 25 m | Show |
North Texas at LSU 7:00 ET Mean Green (+) over Tigers- LSU is returning to postseason play. It's not the NCAA Tournament, but the No. 4 seed Tigers' game against unseeded North Texas in the first round of the NIT on Tuesday night in Baton Rouge, La., is a notable step in the rebuilding of the program. LSU (17-15) went 9-9 in the Southeastern Conference after winning just two league games in 2022-23 in coach Matt McMahon's first season after he was hired to guide the program in the wake of NCAA sanctions. The Tigers, who defeated the Mean Green 66-62 on Nov. 17 in the Shriners Children's Charleston (S.C.) Classic, won three of their last four regular-season games to earn a first-round bye in the SEC tournament. They lost to Mississippi State 70-60 in their conference tournament opener. North Texas (18-14) is very familiar with the NIT. The Mean Green are in the tournament for the third consecutive season and they won it last season, defeating UAB in the final. North Texas won three of its last four regular-season games, then defeated Tulane 81-71 in the first round of the American Athletic Conference tournament before losing to Florida Atlantic 77-71. Take NORTH TEXAS!
03-17-24 | Wisconsin +3 v. Illinois | 87-93 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 39 m | Show
Wisconsin vs Illinois 3:30 ET Badgers (+) over Fighting Illini- One thing I can say about the Badgers is that they are a difficult club when playing a true road game where they are 3-9 SU and a game at a neutral site as they are now 4-0 on the year. Illinois has won seven straight in the series and has covered the number in the last eight meetings including a 91-83 win in Madison two weeks ago. Both clubs on three game win streaks with the Badgers on a five-game AST streak. Take WISCONSIN!
03-17-24 | Florida v. Auburn -5.5 | Top | 67-86 | Win | 100 | 11 h 14 m | Show |
Florida vs Auburn 1:00 ET Tigers (-) over Gators- The Gators are 8-2 ATS in the past 10 meetings with Auburn including an 81-65 February win in Gainesville. Florida is off of a huge come-from behind and and ‘cover’ over the nagging Texas A&M Aggies while the Tigers enter with five straight wins and off of a non-cover victory over Mississippi State. Better coaching and better overall talent as cream rises...take AUBURN!
03-17-24 | Duquesne +2.5 v. VCU | 57-51 | Win | 100 | 11 h 10 m | Show
Duquesne vs VCU 1:00 ET Dukes (+) over Rams- It’s been a long time since Willie Summerset burned the twines for the Dukes but busting out with 23 wins brings back days of Duquesne glory. Sunday, the upstart Dukes are up against one of the conference bullies in VCU. The Dukes man-up against the Rams and have won the last three meetings and have covered the number in the last four meetings. On a current seven game win streak Dukes not to he butted by Rams. Take DUQUESNE!
03-16-24 | Iowa State +5.5 v. Houston | 69-41 | Win | 100 | 8 h 29 m | Show
Iowa State vs Houston 6:00 ET Cyclones (+) over Cougars- Top-ranked Houston and seventh-ranked Iowa State, the two best defensive teams in the Big 12 Conference and two of the top five in Division I, will meet Saturday evening in the conference's tournament final. Houston, which has won 11 straight games while Iowa State is the only school to have played in the tournament title game and never lost. The Cyclones are 5-0 all-time in that situation. They do it again. Take IOWA STATE!
03-16-24 | Texas A&M +3 v. Florida | Top | 90-95 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 9 m | Show |
Texas A&M vs Florida 3:30 ET Aggies (+) over Gators- The Aggies have won five in a row and might be on the right side of the bubble even if they don't beat Florida in the second semifinal of the Southeastern Conference tournament on Saturday afternoon in Nashville, Tenn. While Texas A&M could use one more win to bolster its chances of an at-large NCAA bid, the sixth-seeded Gators (23-10) are considered a near lock. Their 102-88 win over No. 19-ranked and third-seeded Alabama late Friday night figures to enhance their seeding. Florida owns a top-10 scoring offense at 85.4 points per game, thanks to Clayton (17.3 ppg), Pullin (15.6 ppg, 5.0 assists) and Samuel (14 ppg). The Gators also lead Division I in rebounding at 43.1 per game. Their ability on the boards will be tested by the Aggies, who rank third in the nation at 42.7 rebounds per game. The Aggies eked out a 67-66 win over Florida on Feb. 3 in College Station, Texas, in the teams' only meeting this season behind a game-high 26 points from Radford. They di it again. Take FLORIDA!
03-16-24 | Wisconsin +6 v. Purdue | 76-75 | Win | 100 | 3 h 15 m | Show
Wisconsin vs Purdue 1:00 ET Badgers (+) over Boilermakers- Purdue (29-3) has won 30 games just once previously, hitting the mark with a 30-7 campaign in the 2017-18 season. That version of Boilermakers had their season end in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. No. 3 Purdue is one victory away from matching the school's single-season record of 30. Purdue had a chance to reach 30 last season, but that bid ended when it became the second No. 1 seed to lose to a No. 16 seed as Fairleigh Dickinson produced a 63-58 upset. The Badgers lost 78-70 at Purdue on Sunday when Edey had 25 points and 14 rebounds for the Boilermakers. Wisconsin fell 75-69 at home on Feb. 4 in the first matchup. The Badgers get the money again. Take WISCONSIN!
03-15-24 | Baylor +1.5 v. Iowa State | Top | 62-76 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 6 m | Show |
Baylor vs Iowa State 9:30 ET Bears (+) over Cyclones- The Baylor Bears and Iowa State Cyclones will battle for the second and final spot in the Big 12 Tournament bracket final when they clash Friday night at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. Ranked sixth nationally, the contender Cyclones are just slight 1.5-point favorites against the Bears in the conference tournament odds. Iowa State’s marquee defense second only to Houston in defensive efficiency helped force 20 Wildcats turnovers, converting them to 23 points. put away Kansas State, winning 76-57 and advancing to the semis. Baylor is the second highest-scoring team in the Big 12, but after an uneven offensive effort against Cincinnati. Take BAYLOR
03-15-24 | Texas A&M +5.5 v. Kentucky | 97-87 | Win | 100 | 6 h 35 m | Show
Texas A&M vs Kentucky 7:00 ET Aggies (+) over Wildcats- These teams faced off against each other once this season with the Texas A&M Aggies winning 97-92 in College Station. They totaled a whopping 178 points in regulation in that contest which is wild when you consider that neither shot the ball well. The Aggies prefer a methodical pace but aren't able to slow down opponents which has resulted in some high-possession games in the run-and-gun SEC. The Aggies aren't bad on defense but while they clog up the paint, they allow a ton of shots from deep, sitting 352nd in the country in opponent 3-point rate (44.8%). With their blistering tempo and sizzling shooting, the Wildcats can hang points on any team in the country. The Aggies don't shoot particularly well but take care of the ball (28th in turnover rate) and lead the country in offensive rebounding rate (41.7%). Take TEXAS A&M!
03-15-24 | Texas Tech +9.5 v. Houston | 59-82 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 34 m | Show
Texas Tech vs Houston 7:00 ET Red Raiders (+) over Cougars- No. 1 Houston, which remains the odds on favorite to win overall, opened at -8.5 against fourth seeded Texas Tech. Houston finished the Big 12 regular season with both the best conference record and overall record. All three of their losses came on the road to Kansas, TCU, and Iowa State. The No. 1 seed Cougars entered the tourney as the odds-on favorites, following a 15-3 conference record in their inaugural Big 12 season and they are big favorites tonight. A little too big in a game this size. Take TEXAS TECH!
03-14-24 | New Mexico +1.5 v. Boise State | 76-66 | Win | 100 | 22 h 43 m | Show
New Mexico vs Boise State 11:30 ET Lobos (+) over Broncos- Boise State has dominated this series winning nine of the past 10 while going 8-1-1 ATS including an 89-79 win at home two weeks ago. Max Price the coach’s son scored a career high 35 points an increase of his previous high of 30 also against the Lobos. New Mexico who won their first 11 home games and are a much improved club and will make the proper adjustments here. The line is very shallow and says the Lobos can play ride the Broncos tonight. Take NEW MEXICO!
03-14-24 | Ole Miss +5.5 v. Texas A&M | Top | 71-80 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 49 m | Show |
Mississippi vs Texas A&M 7:00 ET Rebels (+) over Aggies- The teams met last Saturday in Oxford, Miss., with the Rebels suffering a stinging 86-60 trouncing by the Aggies on Senior Day. Desperate for a couple of wins, the teams meet and both need a deep run in the Southeastern Conference tournament if they hold any March Madness aspirations. Winners of three straight games, the Aggies have done it before. In the first meeting at College Station, Texas, on Jan. 27, the Rebels won 71-68, a victory that moved them to 17-3 (Started 13-0). They have won just three times since 86-82 at home against rival Mississippi State after beating Texas A&M, then Missouri which went 0-18 in the conference twice by single digits. The teams met last Saturday in Oxford, Miss., with the Rebels suffering a stinging 86-60 trouncing by the Aggies on Senior Day. The Rebels respond. Take MISSISSIPPI!
03-14-24 | Ohio State v. Iowa +2 | 90-78 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 17 m | Show
Ohio State vs Iowa 6:30 ET Hawkeyes over Buckeyes- Iowa is coming off a 73-61 loss to then-No. 12 Illinois on Sunday in the regular season finale, but it has won four of its past six games after dropping its first three Big Ten games. In the first meeting between the teams this season on Feb. 2, Iowa held off visiting Ohio State 79-77 as Tony Perkins' 20 points led a balanced attack. Jamison Battle posted 17 points for the Buckeyes. The Buckeyes have won four in a row and five of six since he replaced the fired Chris Holtmann on Feb. 14, including beating then No. 2 Purdue in his debut. The loser of the second-round matchup between the Buckeyes (19-12) and the Hawkeyes (18-13) can likely start making plans for the NIT instead of keeping their hopes alive of making the NCAA Tournament. Take IOWA!
03-13-24 | Cincinnati -2.5 v. Kansas | 72-52 | Win | 100 | 8 h 5 m | Show
Kansas vs Cincinnati 9:30 ET Bearcats (+) over Jayhawks- Cincinnati overcame a 16-point, second-half deficit in its first-ever appearance in the Big 12 Conference tournament to claim a thrilling 90-85 victory over West Virginia on Tuesday. The Bearcats will face 16th-ranked Kansas, the 12-time conference tournament champion sixth-seeded Kansas (22-9) who will be without its top two scorers due to injury. Kansas has gotten used to playing without leading scorer Kevin McCullar Jr., who has missed five full games and parts of several others with a bone bruise on his left knee. The Jayhawks, who have lost three of their past four games. Take CINCINNATI!
03-13-24 | NC State +1.5 v. Syracuse | 83-65 | Win | 100 | 5 h 18 m | Show
NC State vs Syracuse 7:00 ET Wolfpack (+) over Orange- North Carolina State is still alive in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament after beating Louisville on Tuesday. NC State (18-14) trailed 15th-seeded Louisville by as many as 12 points. But the Wolfpack opened the second half with a 12-4 run to take a seven-point advantage. NC State will likely need everyone to play well and on both ends of the floor if it wants to beat Syracuse (20-11). The Orange are motivated to boost their resume for the NCAA Tournament. The Orange beat the Wolfpack twice this season, 77-65 at home on Jan. 27 and 87-83 in Raleigh, N.C., on Feb. 20. This time out the Wolfpack get it done. Take NC STATE!
03-13-24 | Kansas State +5.5 v. Texas | Top | 78-74 | Win | 100 | 5 h 21 m | Show |
Kansas State at Texas 7:00 ET Wildcats (+) over Longhorns- Kansas State (18-13) comes into the tournament as the 10th seed, with the memory of a much-needed victory over then-No. 6 Iowa State in its last game. The Wildcats play seventh-seeded Texas (20-11), which is comfortably in the NCAA Tournament after defeating archrival Oklahoma in its last game. The Wildcats may need to win the conference tournament to feel secure on Selection Sunday, but avenging a 62-56 loss to Texas in Austin in February would be a good place to start. While the Longhorns look like a lock to get into the NCAA Tournament either way, they're focused on eliminating all doubt. They've won two of the past three Big 12 tournament titles but that ends here. Take KANSAS STATE!
03-12-24 | Gonzaga v. St. Mary's +3.5 | Top | 60-69 | Win | 100 | 8 h 24 m | Show |
Gonzaga vs. St. Mary’s 9:00 ET Gaels (_) over Bulldogs- St. Mary’s entered their regular season final on a 16-game winning streak and had a chance to go undefeated in WCC play. They were 17-0 in conference play but the perennial WCC champion Gonzaga pulled off a 70-57 upset to tarnish the Gaels final regular conference record. These two clubs are the only clubs worthy of an invite to the Big Dance and both will get seeded in the upper half of brackets formed. Take ST. MARY’S!
03-10-24 | Maryland +1.5 v. Penn State | 69-85 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 6 m | Show
Maryland at Penn State 7;30 ET Terrapins (+) over Nittany Lions- Two teams lingering near the bottom of the Big Ten standings conclude their regular season Sunday when Maryland visits Penn State at University Park, Pa. The Nittany Lions (14-16, 8-11 Big Ten) enter the weekend tied for 10th place in the 14-team conference. The Terrapins (15-15, 7-12) are tied for 12th with only Michigan looking up at them in the league standings. Both teams come into the matchup having lost two games in a row. Maryland allowed Indiana to shoot 56.4 percent from the field and 7 of 16 (43.8 percent) from 3-point range in an 83-78 defeat on March 3. Penn State dropped road games at Iowa and Minnesota in their two most recent contests, although it has not played since last weekend. Take MARYLAND!
03-10-24 | Illinois v. Iowa +1.5 | Top | 73-61 | Loss | -115 | 15 h 47 m | Show |
Illinois at Iowa 7:00 ET Hawkeyes (+) over Fighting Illini- Iowa has won four of their last five games entering this weekend at No. 48 in the Ken Pom rankings and No. 57 in the NET which are two key metrics monitored by the NCAA Tournament committee. For No. 12 Illinois, there's little at stake in the regular-season finale at Iowa on Sunday afternoon. The Big Ten title is out of reach, the No. 2 seed in next week's Big Ten tournament is clinched, and a No. 4 or 5 NCAA Tournament seed seems virtually assured. But for Iowa, there's so much more than Senior Night on the agenda. When the teams met in Champaign two weekends ago, Iowa built a seven-point second-half lead only for its offense to go quiet late in a 95-85 Illinois victory. This time they close the deal. Take IOWA!
03-10-24 | Michigan State -3 v. Indiana | 64-65 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 5 m | Show
Michigan State at Indiana 4:30 ET Spartans (-) over Hoosiers- Michigan State was ranked No. 4 in the country in the preseason, but inconsistency and underperforming veteran players have left the Spartans simply hoping to keep alive their streak of making the NCAA Tournament. The Spartans (18-12, 10-9 Big Ten) enter after posting a 53-49 win over Northwestern on Wednesday that snapped a three-game losing streak, but their strong strength of schedule and NET ranking (No. 23 going into Friday) have them still in listed in most NCAA Tournament field projections. A road win at Indiana would go a long way to solidifying an NCAA bid, with the subsequent hope being that they can use the postseason to fulfill preseason projections. Indiana (17-13, 9-10) has struggled all season, but enters on a three-game winning streak and playing its best basketball. The Hoosiers have beaten Wisconsin at home and won on the road at Maryland and Minnesota during the stretch. The success has coincided with the return of senior point guard Xavier Johnson, who missed six games with an elbow injury. Not enough here. Take MICHIGAN STATE!
03-09-24 | Baylor v. Texas Tech -120 | 68-78 | Win | 100 | 15 h 2 m | Show
Baylor at Texas Tech 6:00 Red Raiders (+) over Bears- A victory on Saturday, though, will remove any NCAA doubt for the winning team heading into the conference tournament. None of that matters to Texas Tech who has gotten on track with back-to-back road wins against the league's co-cellar dwellers. Since a swoon knocked it out of the running to compete for the league crown. Both teams almost certainly will be in the NCAA Tournament field, each with double-digit victory totals in the league regarded as one of the toughest in the country. Both teams have an upper hand at a double-bye for the Big 12 tournament next week in Kansas City, with the Bears (22-8, 11-6) alone in third place and the Red Raiders (21-9, 10-7) in a fourth-place tie with Kansas -- but with a tiebreaker advantage. The Red Raiders have gotten better in the last week, particularly after falling behind 20-4 at West Virginia. Texas Tech surged back with a decisive road win, then never trailed at Oklahoma State on Tuesday en route to one of the most dominant Big 12 road wins in program history, 75-58. Take TEXAS TECH!
03-09-24 | Marquette v. Xavier +3 | 86-80 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 4 m | Show
Marquette at Xavier 5:00 ET Musketeers (+) over Golden Eagles- Xavier (15-15, 9-10) is looking to finish its regular season with a break-even mark in conference play on Senior Day at Cintas Center. The Musketeers had their modest two-game winning streak snapped with a 72-66 loss to Butler on Wednesday night in Indianapolis. Also on the line for the Musketeers is Big East tournament seeding. They are seeking a win, combined with a UConn win over Providence and a Creighton victory over Villanova, to avoid playing in the 8-9 seed matchup in the tourney opener on Wednesday. Eighth-ranked Marquette will look to head into the Big East tournament with some momentum and avoid its first three-game skid of the season when it visits Xavier on Saturday in Cincinnati. Marquette (22-8, 13-6) enters the regular-season finale for both teams coming off a 74-67 loss Wednesday to No. 2 UConn in Milwaukee. Musketeers defeated the Eagles the last time they hosted them last January. Thy do it again! Take XAVIER!
03-09-24 | Kentucky v. Tennessee -7.5 | 85-81 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 1 m | Show
Kentucky at Tennessee 4:00 ET Volunteers (-) over Wildcats- The Volunteers (24-6, 14-3) clinched their first outright Southeastern Conference regular-season title since 2008 with a 66-59 win Wednesday night at No. 17 South Carolina. No matter what happens in Saturday's regular-season finale in Knoxville against No. 15 Kentucky, the Vols are the top seed for the SEC Tournament in Nashville next week. There is something at stake for the Wildcats (22-8, 12-5) too. They are playing for a double bye into the quarterfinals of the SEC tourney and to possibly improve their seeding for the NCAA tournament. And they would love to spoil Tennessee's senior day. We had the Volunteers in the first meeting a 103-92 win at Kentucky and they’ll do it again Take TENNESSEE!
03-09-24 | Creighton v. Villanova +1.5 | 69-67 | Loss | -115 | 12 h 35 m | Show
Creighton at Villanova 2:30 ET Wildcats (+) over Bluejays- Creighton, with its NCAA Tournament bid all but wrapped up, will look to build on an impressive 89-75 victory over then-No. 5 Marquette last Saturday on an emotional Senior Day. The Bluejays (22-8, 13-6) have won at least 20 games for the ninth season in a row. They still have a chance to secure the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament. A home victory by Villanova over No. 10 Creighton on Saturday in Philadelphia undoubtedly would impress the NCAA Tournament selection committee. A victory is much needed after the Wildcats (17-13, 10-9 Big East) fell 66-56 on the road against Seton Hall on Wednesday. While a win over the Bluejays won't guarantee an NCAA bid for the Wildcats, it certainly would improve their chances heading into the Big East Conference tournament. Wildcats won earlier December meeting 68-66 in overtime. I expect them to do it again. Take VILLANOVA!
03-09-24 | Iowa State v. Kansas State +3.5 | Top | 58-65 | Win | 100 | 11 h 7 m | Show |
Iowa State at Kansas State 2:00 ET Wildcats (+) over Cyclones- Iowa State (26-6, 13-4) is locked into the second spot in the Big-12 trailing Houston who took the conference title from Kansas the first time they have displaced in 15 years. After a great start in conference play and defeating Kansas and other ranked teams Kansas State has played themselves onto the NCAA Big Dance bubble. The Wildcats dropped a 78-67 decision after one of their upset wins. This time they are in need and the Cyclones know win or lose remain the same entering the Big-12 Tourney. Take KANSAS STATE!
03-07-24 | California +4.5 v. Stanford | 58-80 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 7 m | Show
California at Stanford 11:00 ET Golden Bears (+) over Cardinal- The California Golden Bears (13-17, 9-10 Pac-12) will be shooting for an improbable .500 finish in conference play while the Cardinal (12-17, 7-12) hope to end a six-game skid when the San Francisco Bay Area teams duel in a Pac-12 regular-season game for a final time. Both Cal and Stanford have agreed to join the Atlantic Coast Conference next season. Leave it educators to try to rewrite history an believes that California and Stanford are now located on the East coast. Cl may be the most improved team in college basketball after going 3-29 last season. Take CALIFORNIA!
03-07-24 | Colorado +3.5 v. Oregon | Top | 79-75 | Win | 100 | 8 h 0 m | Show |
Colorado at Oregon 9:00 ET Buffaloes (+) over Ducks- The Colorado-Oregon men's basketball game on Thursday in Eugene, Ore., has important implications for both teams. The Buffaloes (20-9, 11-7 Pac-12) can clinch third place in the conference regular-season standings and the No. 3 seed in the Pac-12 tournament next week. The Ducks need at least a win Thursday to take the No. 3 seed. Oregon (19-10, 11-7) hosts Utah on Saturday, and it lost to both the Buffaloes and Utes on the road earlier this season. One more win for either team will guarantee a first-round bye in the conference tournament. Colorado comes in hot, having won four straight overall. However, the Buffs are 2-6 on the road in conference play. Oregon has been up and down since a 5-0 start to conference play. Along the way, health problems have contributed to the Ducks' inconsistency, with three players out due to season-ending injuries and another with an undisclosed illness. Take COLORADO!
03-06-24 | Mississippi State +3 v. Texas A&M | Top | 69-75 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 54 m | Show |
Mississippi State at Texas A&M 9:00 ET Bulldogs (+) over Aggies- Mississippi State (19-10, 8-8 SEC) is coming off Saturday's 78-63 loss at then No. 11 Auburn in which it trailed for all but 21 seconds before cobbling together a response. Mississippi State looks like a safe bet for an NCAA Tournament at-large bid. But two losses last week to ranked opponents mean the Bulldogs could use one more win to stop any thoughts of sliding back on the bubble. The Aggies (16-13, 7-9) snapped a five-game losing streak on Saturday night with a 70-56 SEC win at Georgia. But Texas A&M appears to have played itself off the NCAA Tournament bubble with its recent skid. It may have to win the SEC tournament next week in Nashville to earn a bid, a disappointment for a team expected to contend for a league title. Take MISSISSIPPI STATE!
03-06-24 | Boston College +6.5 v. Miami-FL | 67-57 | Win | 100 | 7 h 47 m | Show
Boston College at Miami 7:00 ET *Eagles (+) over Hurricanes- Host Miami will try to end their seven-game losing streak Wednesday night in an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup against Boston College. The teams have identical records of 15-14 and 6-12 in ACC play. Miami, which went to the Final Four last year, was 15-7 when their losing skid started with an embarrassing 60-38 loss at Virginia on Feb. 5 it was the Hurricanes' lowest-scoring game in 39 years. Miami also lost at Boston College 85-77 during the current skid. The Hurricanes, who lack quality depth, play a regular rotation of just six players, with even minor injuries creating the ability to wreak havoc. Take BOSTON COLLEGE!
03-06-24 | Northwestern v. Michigan State -9 | 49-53 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 39 m | Show
Northwestern at Michigan State 7:00 ET Spartans (-) over Wildcats- Michigan State's three-game losing streak has left the Spartans in a precarious position. They no longer can feel entirely comfortable that they'll receive an NCAA Tournament bid. The Spartans (17-12 overall, 9-9 Big Ten) gave No. 2 Purdue a tough battle before falling on the road, 80-74, on Saturday. Northwestern (20-9, 11-7) had a three-game winning streak snapped by Iowa on Saturday, 87-80. In their first game against the Spartans, the Wildcats shot 54.2 percent from the field and claimed an 88-74 victory on Jan. 7. Take MICHIGAN STATE!
03-05-24 | Cincinnati +6 v. Oklahoma | 71-74 | Win | 100 | 7 h 27 m | Show
Cincinnati at Oklahoma 8:00 ET Bearcats (+) over Sooners- Oklahoma (19-10, 7-9 Big 12) is looking to continue to build on their NCAA Tournament resume entering the final week of the regular season. Oklahoma is coming off an 87-85 loss to the Cougars, where it hit 12 3-pointers and scored more than anyone had scored on Houston all season. Oklahoma has lost four of its last five, though all four losses have come to teams ranked in the top 12. Tuesday's meeting will be the second between the teams this season. Oklahoma won at Cincinnati, 69-65, on Jan. 20, holding the Bearcats to 38.6 percent from the floor. Cincinnati (17-12, 6-10) is hoping to build some momentum from Saturday's 74-72 home win over Kansas State after dropping five of its previous six. Cincinnati holds a 4-3 series edge against the Sooners. Take CINCINNATI!
03-05-24 | Texas Tech v. Oklahoma State +2.5 | 75-58 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 26 m | Show
Texas Tech at Oklahoma State 8:00 ET Cowboys (+) over Red Raiders- A win in Stillwater would represent a major step toward Texas Tech (20-9, 9-7 Big 12) securing a first-day bye at the league tournament in Kansas City next week. Oklahoma State faded late in an 81-65 loss to Texas on Saturday. The Cowboys (12-17, 4-12) were even, 52-52, with 12:21 left in the game before the Longhorns reeled off a 14-0 run to charge to the double-digit win. The Red Raiders routed the visiting Cowboys 90-73 on Jan. 9 but this time around the Cowboys ambush the Red Raiders. Take OKLAHOMA STATE!
03-05-24 | Alabama +2 v. Florida | Top | 87-105 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 28 m | Show |
Alabama at Florida 9:00 ET Crimson Tide (+) over Gators- The Crimson Tide (20-9, 12-4) are looking to bounce back from an 81-74 loss at home against No. 4 Tennessee on Saturday. They now sit one game behind the Volunteers in the SEC standings with two games to play. No. 16 Alabama will go for a regular-season sweep against Florida when the teams tip off Tuesday evening in a Southeastern Conference contest in Gainesville, Fla. Florida (20-9, 10-6) hopes to rebound from an 82-76 loss on the road against then-No. 18 South Carolina on Saturday. The Gators sit in sixth place in the SEC, but only one game separates them from No. 11 Auburn and No. 16 Kentucky. Alabama held on for a 98-93 overtime win against Florida in the teams' first matchup of the season Feb. 21 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Take ALABAMA!
03-04-24 | Duke v. NC State +6.5 | Top | 79-64 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 32 m | Show |
Duke at NC State 7:00 ET Wolfpack (+) over Blue Devils- NC State (17-12, 9-9) has lost three of its past four games. The Wolfpack were unable to protect a 10-point lead early in the second half in Saturday's 79-70 loss at No. 9 North Carolina. NC State was outscored 42-25 in the half. The Wolfpack are 0-3 against ranked teams this season. Duke (23-6, 14-4 ACC) convincingly won two home games in the past week as they were able to rest many of its starters for stretches in the second half. The Wolfpack are 0-3 against ranked teams this season but, they had a big upset victory last season at home against the Blue Devils, winning 84-60. Duke could get caught in a look-ahead situation as they host North Carolina in their ACC regular season final game on Saturday. Take NC STATE!
03-03-24 | Michigan +11.5 v. Ohio State | 61-84 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 54 m | Show
Michigan at Ohio State 4:00 ET Wolverines (+) over Buckeyes- Michigan is 1-11 and has lost six straight, including an 82-52 rout at Rutgers on Thursday. Their 73-65 win against the Buckeyes on Jan. 15 ended a five-game losing streak and was their last victory. They are guaranteed to finish in last place in the Big Ten for the first time since the 1966-67 season. Ohio State (17-12, 7-11 Big Ten) posted a 78-69 win over Nebraska on Thursday for their third victory in four games under interim coach Jake Diebler. Diebler took over for Chris Holtmann on February 14. The Wolverines haven't won on the road since Dec. 10 until today. Take MICHIGAN!
03-02-24 | TCU +7 v. BYU | 75-87 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 36 m | Show
TCU at BYU 9:00 ET Horned Frogs (+) over Cougars- BYU has dominated this series winning the past 10 meetings although going just 5-4-1 ATS and the once conference rivals haven’t met in three years. The Cougars were a big winner for us when they up set Kansas last time out and I expect a drop off after an emotional win. The Horned Frogs who had won four straight ATS was a beaten favorite at home to Baylor Monday and have had five days to re-coop. Take TEXAS CHRISTIAN!
03-02-24 | Tennessee +3 v. Alabama | Top | 81-74 | Win | 100 | 17 h 51 m | Show |
Tennessee at Alabama 8:00 ET Volunteers (+) over Crimson Tide- Oh these one should be better than the last...a Tennessee blow-out win where is was never close and the Vols held a 27-point lead at one point in the second half. So, won’t Alabama be looking to even the score and they are capable as the Nation’s highest scoring team averaging 91.5 PPG. The Tide have scored triple-digits nine times this season but, defense travels well and Rock Barnes club’s can slow the tempo down enough to frustrate the ebbing tide. Take TENNESSEE!
03-02-24 | New Mexico +3.5 v. Boise State | 79-89 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 34 m | Show
New Mexico at Boise State 8:00 ET Lobos (+) over Broncos- These two met four weeks ago in Albuquerque and the result was one these two have been used to as Boise State was never headed as a 10-point dog winning outright 86-78. The Broncos lead the series winning six of the past seven meetings going 5-1-1 ATS. New Mexico has been under-rated all season and is 17-10 ATS despite falling in a look-ahead game to Air Force 78-77 Saturday and have had a week to prepare. The Broncos also played the Falcons last time out and won 79-48 on Tuesday. Take NEW MEXICO!
03-02-24 | Pittsburgh v. Boston College +1.5 | 90-65 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 39 m | Show
Pitt at Boston College 6:30 ET Eagles (+) over Panthers- The Eagles enter this contest having lost three straight even with their 7-foot center Quinten Post having a stellar night with 24 points and 10 rebound and a perfect 11-11 for the game. Pitt held Post seven points in their first meetings a 77-58 Panthers victory their sixth in the last eight meetings. Eagles 10-5 SU at home and should improve on that here. Take BOSTON COLLEGE!
03-02-24 | Mississippi State +9.5 v. Auburn | 63-78 | Loss | -105 | 13 h 43 m | Show
Mississippi State at Auburn 4:00 ET Bulldogs (+) over Tigers- Mississippi State and Auburn will try to bounce back from close losses to ranked teams when they meet Saturday in Southeastern Conference action at Auburn. The Bulldogs (19-9, 8-7 SEC) saw their five-game winning streak come to an end when No. 16 Kentucky made a tie-breaking field goal with less than a second left in a 91-89 victory Tuesday night. The Bulldogs' loss to Kentucky was their first defeat since Feb. 3 at then-No. 24 Alabama. The No. 11 Tigers (21-7, 10-5) led No. 4 Tennessee by eight points midway through the second half before losing 92-84 in a road game that featured 12 lead changes on Wednesday night. Auburn had won eight straight meetings until the Bulldogs 64-58 upset win in late January. Look for more of the same! Take MISSISSIPPI STATE!
03-01-24 | Dayton v. Loyola-Chicago +1.5 | Top | 72-77 | Win | 100 | 10 h 30 m | Show |
Dayton at Loyola-Chicago 9:00 ET Ramblers (+) over Flyers- Loyola's season-best, seven-game winning streak ended with Tuesday's 79-64 loss at St. Bonaventure. The loss at St. Bonaventure put the Ramblers behind league-leading Richmond while Dayton (22-5, 12-3) had six scorers in double figures during Tuesday's 80-66 home victory against Davidson. The Flyers moved into a second-place tie with the Ramblers (20-8, 12-3) in the conference standings. Take LOYOLA-CHICAGO!
02-29-24 | Gonzaga v. San Francisco +3.5 | Top | 86-68 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 21 m | Show |
Gonzaga at San Francisco 11:00 ET Don’s (+) over Bulldogs- Gonzaga is back in the Top-25 but they are a shade off teams in most recent past. The Bulldogs who have already defeated San Francisco 77-72 as host but are just 4-4 on the road. The Dons are 14-1 SU at home and are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. SF is well balanced with five players averaging double figures and pull off the surprise tonight. Take SAN FRANCISCO!
02-28-24 | Alabama v. Ole Miss +5.5 | Top | 103-88 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 7 m | Show |
Alabama at Mississippi 9:00 ET Rebels (+) over Crimson Tide- Sometimes the ranking of NCAA schools seems to be more political then based on performances or results. Here are two schools playing in the same conference the SEC with the same overall record of 19-8 and yet the visitor (Alabama) is a strong favorite. The difference is the Crimson Tide is tied for the conference lead (11-3) and the Rebels have struggled of late losing five of six including last time out a 72-59 loss to South Carolina. The Tide ebb here...take MISSISSIPPI!
02-28-24 | South Carolina v. Texas A&M -5 | 70-68 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 35 m | Show
South Carolina at Texas A&M 8:00 ET Aggies (-) over Gamecocks- Once again we have a situation where an un-ranked club is favored against a Top-25 squad. This has been a formula for success and there is no reason to believe that this trend will end. I am sure that there will be spots that it does not work but for the most part it have been money. No. 18 South Carolina was on top of the SEC before a pair of losses one a 40-point loss to Auburn and the other a 1-point loss at LSU before rebound last time out with a Megabucks win at Mississippi. The Aggies have lost four straight both SU and ATS but did manage to break a six game series losing streak to the Gamecocks last season winning 94-53 a year ago January. The odds-maker believes the Aggies do it again. Take TEXAS A&M!
02-28-24 | UCF +2.5 v. Oklahoma State | 77-71 | Win | 100 | 7 h 3 m | Show
Central Florida at Oklahoma State 8:00 ET Panthers (+) over Cowboys- Oklahoma State (12-15, 4-10) saw a modest two-game winning streak come to an end courtesy of a buzzer-beating 3-pointer in an 84-82 overtime loss to Oklahoma on Saturday. The loss is not going to change anything for the Cowboys who unless they pull off an outright upset by winning the Big-12 tournament there will be no post-season games. As for Central Florida who recorded a 75-61 victory vs. then-No. 23 Texas Tech on Saturday ending a four-game skid in its most recent outing is out to end a five-game road losing streak in Stillwater, Okla. UCF posted a 60-56 overtime victory vs. Oklahoma State last season as part of the Baha Mar Hoops Bahamas Championship. This year they do it again. Take CENTRAL FLORIDA!
02-27-24 | BYU +6.5 v. Kansas | 76-68 | Win | 100 | 9 h 33 m | Show
BYU at Kansas 8:00 ET Cougars (+) over Jayhawks- We have sort of had our way with and against the Cougars and this game presents us with a pair of trends that will come to an end. Kansas is 14-0 SU at home and BYU is 2-6 SU on the road and just 1-7 ATS. The Jayhawks are off an emotional revenge win over in-state rival Kansas State who defeated them earlier this season. This Kansas club is not as deep as previous editions. Take BRIGHAM YOUNG!
02-27-24 | Kentucky v. Mississippi State -3.5 | 91-89 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 43 m | Show
Kentucky at Mississippi State 7:00 ET Bulldogs (-) over Wildcats- These guys (bookmakers) are making me crazy with the number of games that have ranked teams like Kentucky here an underdog against the team that is not even considered one of the Top-25 like Mississippi State. Now, I am not saying that the Bulldogs are not capable but it is more like Kentucky who just scored their highest point total game against a ranked opponent pounding Alabama 117-95. The Wildcats have won the pst four meetings nine of ten, but the Bulldogs have won their last five outings and the steak continues. Take MISSISSIPPI STATE!
02-27-24 | Virginia Tech +1.5 v. Syracuse | Top | 71-84 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 52 m | Show |
Virginia Tech at Syracuse 7:00 ET Hokies (+) over Orange- Yeah, now that the Orange are thinking NCAA Big Dance after a pair of wins over Notre Dame and NC State we should expect good things But, I don’t think the book-maker things so...I mean they are less than a field goal favorite at home where they are 13-2. Their opponent Virginia Teach has lost five of their last seven games and are just 1-8 both SU and ATS on the road. Syracuse has a better record by 2-games over the Hokies and it ain’t enough. Take VIRGINIA TECH!
02-26-24 | Baylor v. TCU -2 | Top | 62-54 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 23 m | Show |
Baylor at TCU 9:00 ET Horned Frogs (-) over Bears- Baylor is off an overtime home loss against conference leader Houston who led by 17 at the half before the Bears huge second half surge forced he game into the OT. TCU meanwhile was winning their contest over Cincinnati making it 3-of-4 inBig-12 action. Defense is the key for the Frogs as they forced 17 turnovers and held the Bearcats to 41.1% shooting from the field. Bears have lost their last two and fall for the Hat-trick tonight. Take TCU!
02-25-24 | Creighton v. St. John's +2.5 | Top | 66-80 | Win | 100 | 7 h 36 m | Show |
Creighton at St. John’s 12:00 ET Red Storm (+) over Blue Jays- Don’t let the Red and Blue lead you astray this is not a political battle. It is a meeting between a streaking Blue Jay squad that has won four in-a-row including a rout of No. 1 Connecticut securing their ninth straight season with 20 wins or more. St. John’s is falling short of expectations and have lost eight of 11 after starting 4-1 in Big East play, St. John’s coach Rick Pitino was so critical of his cue that he apologized to each player individually. The Jays have won seven straight including a 66-65 win when the crew from Queens blew a nine-point second half lead. Not this time...take ST. JOHN’S!
02-24-24 | Oklahoma v. Oklahoma State | 84-82 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 52 m | Show
Oklahoma at Oklahoma State 4:00 ET Cowboys (+) over Sooners- Oklahoma State started 0-6 in Big-12 play but have won four of their last seven with one of those losses at Norman to the Sooners 66-62. Oklahoma now missing from the ranked teams have dropped their past two and seven of their last 12 after a 13-1 start. Sooners fade is not unexpected as they have failed to reach the Big Dance since 2021. Oklahoma’s struggles should continue as a pair of starters will not be available and they play as Bedlam foe for a final time in the Big-12 (excepting possible tourney meeting). Cowboys have the momentum and are 7-2 SU in the last nine meetings and 8-0-1 ATS. Take OKLAHOMA STATE!
02-24-24 | North Carolina v. Virginia +3 | Top | 54-44 | Loss | -105 | 16 h 29 m | Show |
North Carolina at Virginia 4:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Tar Heels- Oh Lordy! I can’t truly explain the sensation that went through my body when I first gazed upon this match-up. No. 10 North Carolina is off their longest break in action (six days) in two months and enter Charlottesville looking for their first win there in 12 years Virginia is off their worst loss of the season falling at Virginia Tech 75-41 (that is not a typo). With only one player scoring double figures the Cavaliers shot 33% and were outscored 62-29 from mid-first half and were already thinking of the Tar Heels. Founder Thomas Jefferson would be proud of his ‘Public Ivy’ who had won 8-of-9 before their debacle. Huge bounce back...take VIRGINIA!
02-24-24 | South Carolina +3.5 v. Ole Miss | 72-59 | Win | 100 | 15 h 26 m | Show
South Carolina at Mississippi 2:00 ET Gamecocks (+) over Rebels- South Carolina rose as high as No. 11 in the AP poll but back-to-back losses for the first time this season dropping them nine spots to No. 20. The Gamecocks had won seven straight and then were routed by Auburn and came up flat at home against lowly LSU and fell 64-63 after holding a 16-point in the second half lead. Mississippi has lost four of five and had their bench get outscored 49-11 by Mississippi State last time out who had 18 more free throws in their 83-71 win over the Rebels. Ole Miss 14-1 SU at home scares me but the Gamecocks allow just65.2 PPG. Take SOUTH CAROLINA!
02-24-24 | Duke v. Wake Forest -2 | 79-83 | Win | 100 | 14 h 1 m | Show
Duke at Wake Forest 2:00 ET Demon Deacons (+) over Blue Devils- This is one of those rare situations where a Top-10 team Duke is and underdog to a team not rated among the Top-25. Wake Forest is in need of a quality win to enhance the NCAA Tourney resume and a win over the Blue Devils would fill that bill. Duke has won five straight and are off a drubbing of Miami on the road while the Deacons are off a home pounding of Pitt 91-58 getting a measure of revenge for an earlier defeat upping their record as hosts to 14-0 SU. Devils just 4-5 ATS on the road and fall here. Take WAKE FOREST!
02-23-24 | Yale +2.5 v. Cornell | Top | 62-65 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 53 m | Show |
Yale at Cornell 7:00 ET Bulldogs (+) over Big Red- The Ivy’s best go at it in Ithaca, New York as Cornell who has won nine-of-10 host Yale who are off a loss at Princeton to end a 10-game winning streak. In the Bulldogs 73-62 loss 7’0” center Danny Wolf who scored 84 points in the previous four games went scoreless missing all 10 of his shots taken. The Yalie’s have won the past three meetings including an 80-78 victory two weeks ago and are 8-2 straight-up in the last 10 meetings. Take YALE
02-22-24 | Washington State +13.5 v. Arizona | 77-74 | Win | 100 | 12 h 1 m | Show
Washington State at Arizona 11:00 ET Cougars (+) over Wildcats- Washington State was projected by the Pac-12 media to finish 10th at best in the conference and here they are battling Arizona for the top spot. The Cougars have already defeated Arizona 73-70 in Pullman and most expect the Wildcats to get a measure of revenge here, but they are off a rout of arch-rival Arizona State crushing the Sun Devils 105-60. I a situation like this where the favorite is off a rivalry game and victory have a tendency to slide back toward the middle after such a rewarding win. Take WASHINGTON STATE!
02-22-24 | Ohio State +3.5 v. Minnesota | Top | 79-88 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 6 m | Show |
Ohio State at Minnesota 8:00 ET Buckeyes (+) over Golden Gophers- It is a rare college basketball experience for a coach to be fired in mid-season but Ohio State made the move that had to be done. The Buckeyes were repeating a scenario that played out last season where they failed to win on the road and this year they are 0-7 SU in Big Ten action this year are that led to Chris Holtmann’s departure. Under interim coach Jake Diebler Ohio State posted a 73-69 win over No. 2 Purdue on Sunday and will keep the momentum here. Take OHIO STATE!
02-22-24 | SMU v. Florida Atlantic -6 | 70-80 | Win | 100 | 8 h 55 m | Show
SMU at Florida Atlantic 7:00 ET Owls (-) over Mustangs- Florida Atlantic who made that improbably run to the Final Four last season were ranked earlier this season but a pair of losses in their last four games has dropped out of the Top-25. One of those losses was to rival South Florida on Sunday as they slumped to 3-7 ATS in their last 10 although they are 8-2 SU. SMU is also 8-2 SU in their last 10 and yet are just 4-6 ATS in that span. This is he first ever meeting between these two and I would favor the home team Owls who are 10-1 SU as hosts. Take FLORIDA ATLANTIC!
02-21-24 | Oklahoma State v. Cincinnati -10 | 80-76 | Loss | -107 | 8 h 45 m | Show
Oklahoma State at Cincinnati 7:00 ET Bearcats (-) over Cowboys- Cincinnati won 12 of its first 14 home games before dropping their last two games against ranked opponents. The Bearcats rebounded with a win at Central Florida on Saturday. Oklahoma State is off a win over ranked BYU at home on Saturday bur are 0-7 in true road conference games. The Cowboys are getting ready for their last round-up and will not be seeing any post season action no matter how many teams get to play in the plethora of college basketball tournaments that abound during the post season. They are that bad. Take CINCINNATI!
02-21-24 | Dayton v. George Mason +2.5 | Top | 67-71 | Win | 100 | 8 h 51 m | Show |
Dayton at George Mason 7:00 ET Patriots (+) over Flyers- The line tells the tale on this one as the 6th ranked Dayton Flyers come to Washington as small favorites against a Patriot club that is capable of surprising a mid-ranked team at home. George Mason is 12-2 SU at home and are off a 90-57 rout of George Washington and are look for their third straight in over the Flyers. These two clubs usually meet just once a season and this is the first meeting and only meeting barring a play off match-up. Take GEORGE MASON!
02-21-24 | Illinois -7.5 v. Penn State | 89-90 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 18 m | Show
Illinois at Penn State 6:30 ET Fighting Illini (-) over Nittany Lions- Illinois is a club that I always like to beat up on because over the years I jut don’t think that they ever meet the hype. When I see them play in person I am rarely impressed and this season has been a little more enlightening as they are 19-6 SU and 16-9 ATS which makes them a winner in my book. Penn State is not up to recent editions and the removal of their leading scorer isn’t going to help an already offensively challenged squad no matter where they schedule the game to be played. Take ILLLINOIS!
02-20-24 | Baylor v. BYU -3.5 | 71-78 | Win | 100 | 9 h 59 m | Show
Baylor at BYU 9:00 ET Cougars (-) over Bears- I had the wrong side the last time these two met (seems like I have had the wrong side of everything the past five days) at Baylor when the Bears overcame a nine-point second half deficit and pull away for the win and cover 81-72. The Bears remain a game behind Iowa State and Kansas for the Big-12 lead and have won all four meetings against BYU. But, the Cougars are off a loss to lowly Oklahoma State and are looking to rebound at home where they are 13-2 SU. Take BYU!
02-20-24 | Connecticut v. Creighton +3.5 | 66-85 | Win | 100 | 9 h 33 m | Show
Connecticut at Creighton 8:30 ET Blue Jays (+) over Huskies- Connecticut who won the National Championship last season by dominating the competition is doing it again. Last season came more or less a surprise as the Huskies turned it on late and claimed the title easily. This season they have put everyone on notice that they mean to repeat as they have now won 14 straight home games and 14 straight Big East conference games. Creighton has won their last three but had their season low in points scored in a 62-48 loss at UConn a month ago. It was a year ago at home when the Blue Jays pulled off a win over the Huskies defeating them four the fourth straight time as hosts and sixth win in eight meetings. Take CREIGHTON!
02-20-24 | Syracuse +6.5 v. NC State | 87-83 | Win | 100 | 7 h 56 m | Show
Syracuse at NC State 7:00 ET Orange (+) over Seminoles- Both of these clubs will most likely by on the NCAA bubble when it comes down to selection day for the NCAA Tournament. Syracuse is off a road loss to Georgia Tech while the Wolfpack edged Clemson 78-77 for their first win Quad-1 win of the year. The Orange were just 4-of-25 from 3-point range against the Yellow Jackets a figure (16%) that they will improve on. The Orange are 6-0 SU in the past six meetings going 5-1 ATS. Take SYRACUSE!
02-18-24 | Utah +2.5 v. UCLA | Top | 70-69 | Win | 100 | 9 h 28 m | Show |
Utah at UCLA 7:00 ET Utes (+) over Bruins- The last time these two met (Megabucks winner) Utah crushed the Bruins 90-44 the worst loss in UCLA Big-12 history. That lost was the eighth in nine games but since then the Bruins turned things around having won 8-of-9 and are looking to avenge the embarrassing defeat. The Utes have dropped three straight and 6-of-9, are off a loss at Southern Cal and are 0-6 on the Pac-12 road. UCLA is tough defensively but challenged offensively averaging just 66.1 while allowing 63.9 ranking eighteenth nationally. Utes scoring 78.5 and surrendering 72.2. This should come down the the final buzzer. Take UTAH!
02-18-24 | Rutgers +4.5 v. Minnesota | 70-81 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 43 m | Show
Rutgers at Minnesota 6:30 ET Scarlet Knights (+) over Golden Gophers- Usually in this situation where the visitor enters on a four-game win streak like Rutgers is on right now, I would look to fade them against a team returning home after a pair of road losses. But, there are always extraneous factors that always come into play and one key factor is the return to the play of Jeremiah Williams for the Scarlet Knights after a 20 game suspension for gambling. He leads New Jersey U. in scoring and they are 4-0 upon his return. Plus I do not trust the Gophers as they fall more often when they are expected to win. Take RUTGERS!
02-18-24 | Memphis +5 v. SMU | 79-106 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 14 m | Show
Memphis at SMU 4:00 ET Tigers (+) over Mustangs- I may have the popular side but after playing against th Tigers (N. Texas megabucks winner) last time out to look for them to bounce back seems natural. I also want to get back at SMU for ruining my sweep by defeating Tulane last time out their fifth win in-a-row. These two have mirror ATS records in their last 10 games as the Tigers are just 2-8 and SMU is 8-2 and I expect them to both move to the middle which means...take MEMPHIS! |
