01-09-21 | Nuggets -5.5 v. 76ers | 115-103 | Win | 100 | 4 h 31 m | Show
Denver at Philadelphia 3:00 ET Nuggets (-) over 76ers- Okay either this is the biggest 'gift' of the day (believe me the bookies don't like giving away anything) as the 3-5 Denver Nuggets are favored at 7-2 Philadelphia and I smell a rat. The 76ers are 5-0 straight up at home and here they are getting points from a sub .500 club. It looks like Embiid will get to play point guard as he wishes as three Sixers' guards are out because of virus and other crap. It's just DENVER!
01-08-21 | Raptors -5 v. Kings | Top | 144-123 | Win | 100 | 9 h 25 m | Show |
Toronto at Sacramento 10:00 ET Raptors (-) over Kings- Toronto who won the NBA championship two seasons ago is 1-6 SU this year and 0-4 SU and ATS on the road. 0-4 ATS on the road and yet they are favored here at Sacramento where the Kings are 3-1 SU. This doesn't make any kind of sense what-so-ever although the Kings De'Aaron Fox strained his right hamstring last time out and mostly likely will be sidelined tonight. The Raptors are 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings and the Kings 1-6 ATS after scoring over 125 points the pervious game. Take TORONTO!
01-08-21 | Jazz +5.5 v. Bucks | 131-118 | Win | 100 | 7 h 23 m | Show
Utah at Milwaukee 8:00 ET Jazz (+) over Bucks- Utah has played five road games and surprisingly they are 3-2 SU on the road while Milwaukee is 4-0 SU at home and 3-1 ATS. This is the fourth straight road game for the Jazz who opened this trip with a win at San Antonio but were crushed in their last two at Brooklyn and New York. Despite those pair of losses Utah is 9-2-1 ATS in their last 12 games as underdogs. The Bucks who owned the best record in the league the past two seasons is just 1-5-1 ATS after a SU win. The Jazz have dominated the series between these two going 27-8 ATS in the last 35 meetings. Take UTAH!
01-08-21 | Wizards +4.5 v. Celtics | 107-116 | Loss | -109 | 7 h 54 m | Show
Washington at Boston 7:30 ET Wizards (+) over Celtics- Washington has two of the most exciting guards in the NBA but there is one proverb that stands true through time when playing this game and it is 'they only play with one ball.' Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal can virtually score at will but have just two wins in eight games. Boston at 6-3 is respectable as they try and find the proper mix after some major personnel changes. The Wizards have won the last two meetings and are 4-0 ATS on the road this season. The inconsistent Celtics are 2-7 ATS after an ATS win and 1-4 ATS as favorites. Take WASHINGTON!
01-07-21 | Wolves v. Blazers -10 | 117-135 | Win | 100 | 11 h 27 m | Show
Minnesota at Portland 10:00 ET Trailblazers (-) over Timberwolves- Portland has dropped two straight and 3-of-4 with their lone win a beating over the Warriors 123-98 and in general are not playing so great going 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall. Now, Minnesota...there's a team that just can't dig a hole deep enough losing their last five by an average 24 points but, they are coming off a 'cover' 123-116 at Denver. I really don't care for the Blazers as a team, so for me to back anyone that has Carmelo Anthony on their roster is a team to 'FADE.' But just look at the number, they have no business being a double-digit favorite against anyone. This is a chance for them to rout somebody and they will. Take PORTLAND!
01-06-21 | Raptors +3.5 v. Suns | 115-123 | Loss | -112 | 10 h 44 m | Show
Toronto at Phoenix 9:00 ET Raptors (+) over Suns- Boy, this looks easy, too easy. Toronto at 1-5 is off to their worst start is 14 seasons and the fact that they are forced to call Tampa, Fl home doesn't help. Meanwhile, Phoenix is 5-2 and off to their best start in a decade. Despite their woes the Raptors are 9-4 ATS as underdogs and 13-6 ATS after a loss of 10-points or more. Phoenix has risen and the Suns are hot going 15-3 ATS in their last 18 overall remember they closed out the 'Bubble' 8-0 SU and ATS! The trends and numbers support the home team here as the Suns are 6-1 ATS against the Raptors as hosts. Sill, this time around it's TORONTO!
01-06-21 | Rockets +2 v. Pacers | 107-114 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 44 m | Show
Houston at Indiana 7:00 ET Rockets (+) over Pacers- Here comes Houston and the NBA's 3-time leading scorer James Harden off his worst game of the season, his first game under 30-points this year. Indiana is off a very fortunate to win 118-116 OT at New Orleans where they trailed by 9-points with 17 seconds to go and 6-points with 6 seconds left and tied the game at the buzzer. The Rockets have two home wins both over Sacramento and are off a home loss to the Mavericks 113-100 but are 5-1 ATS against the Pacers in the past six meetings. Take HOUSTON!
01-06-21 | Wizards +6.5 v. 76ers | Top | 136-141 | Win | 100 | 8 h 45 m | Show |
Washington at Philadelphia 7:00 ET Wizards (+) over 76ers- Can Doc Rivers really be the difference in Philadelphia...as the 76ers who have been the biggest underachievers in the NBA the past three seasons currently have the best record (6-1) in the league. 'We' caught 'on' the Sixers three times during their four game SU and ATS streak but now it's about to turn. Washington started in horrid fashion losing their first five games including opening night to Philadelphia 113-107. The Wizards have won their last two as Westbrook and Beal are starting to mesh. Although they haven't fared well in Philly the Wiz are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Take WASHINGTON!
01-05-21 | Jazz v. Nets +5 | 96-130 | Win | 100 | 7 h 27 m | Show
Utah at Brooklyn 7:30 ET Jazz (+) over Nets- So Kevin Durant is down for seven days minimum and the Nets have been disappointing after a quick 2-0 start and are 1-4 SU and lost five straight to the number. It looks like Brooklyn is so cocky about their ability to score with all their firepower they don't feel the need to play defense as they have allowed 120 ppg in their last five. Utah has put together a pair of wins for the first time this season and they have always gotten the best of the Nets. Utah has won the past four meetings and 7-of-8. The Jazz are also 9-2-1 ATS as road underdogs and are 5-1 ATS in their last six at Brooklyn and the Nets are 1-4 ATS against teams with winning records. And yet now without Durant the Nets will play defense and reverse this trend. Take BROOKLYN
01-04-21 | Kings v. Warriors +2.5 | 106-137 | Win | 100 | 11 h 46 m | Show
Sacramento at Golden State 10:00 ET Warriors (+) over Kings- How Golden State is at .500 is a bit of a shock after the way they started the season with losses by 26 to Brooklyn and 39 points to Milwaukee. But since then they have won 3-of-4 as Stephen Curry took it upon himself to get aggressive scoring a career high 62 points against Portland Sunday night and Draymond Green has returned to the lineup. One thing about great shooters is that when they are hot they stay 'on' as they find their groove. The Kings just dropped a pair of games at Houston and they finish their three game road trip tonight. Sacramento has played well is 7-0 ATS in their last seven trips to Golden State but all as underdogs. They are also 11-4 ATS after a SU loss but just 1-6 ATS as road favorites and 7-15 ATS as favorites overall. Take the WARRIORS!
01-04-21 | Pacers +1.5 v. Pelicans | 118-116 | Win | 100 | 9 h 47 m | Show
Indiana at New Orleans 8:00 ET Pacers (+) over Pelicans- Both clubs are moving in opposite directions as New Orleans has won two-in-a-row for the first time this season and stand at 4-2. Indiana is also 4-2 but they opened the year with three straight wins and have now dropped 2-of-3 all at home. This is just the Pacers second away game with the only other road game a 21-point win at Chicago. Somehow the Pelicans are 8-1 ATS in the last nine meetings and that bother me a bit but, they were receiving a bushel of points then whereas they are not favored as they are 3-7 ATS as home favorites. Indy is 8-3 ATS after a SU loss and will rebound here. Take INDIANA!
01-04-21 | Knicks +7 v. Hawks | Top | 113-108 | Win | 100 | 8 h 18 m | Show |
New York at Atlanta 7:30 ET Knicks (+) over Hawks- Break-up the Knicks! New York has won 3-of-4 and two of three which came on the road on this current four game trip. Atlanta's free wheeling style opened the season with three straight wins and 4-of-5 also incurred their defeat at the hands of Cleveland Saturday as they committed 20 turnovers. The Knicks have a completely new outlook under Tom Thibodeau and attitude and the difference is striking. NYK is 3-0-1 ATS in their last four trips to Atlanta while the Hawks are 0-4-1 ATS in their last five games as home favorites. Take NEW YORK!
01-03-21 | Blazers v. Warriors +5.5 | Top | 122-137 | Win | 100 | 9 h 11 m | Show |
Portland at Golden State 8:30 ET Warriors (+) over Trailblazers- This is the second of the two-game home series between these two as the Trailblazers took out the Warriors 123-98 Friday night. In that game Portland turn the tide by made 20 3-point shots while the Warriors made only seven. Golden State at times looks like the worst the in the NBA as all of their three losses have come by double-digits losing by 26, 39 and 25 points as their defense ranks No. 30 (Dead last). Although State is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 home games they are 24-11 ATS against the Blazers at home. Take GOLDEN STATE!
01-03-21 | Mavs v. Bulls +6 | 108-118 | Win | 100 | 9 h 41 m | Show
Dallas at Chicago 8:00 ET Bulls (+) over Mavericks- Chicago returns home after a three game road trip where they won a pair at Washington before getting blown out at Milwaukee 126-96. Dallas just finish a two-game home stand rebounding from a loss to Charlotte with a win over Miami on Friday and still are waiting for the return of Kristaps Porzingis averages 20 points and nearly 10 rebounds a game. Two trends of note are that the Mavericks are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 road games and 8-21-2 ATS after a SU win. Chicago is 4-1 ATS after a SU loss but are just 12-30 ATS in their last 42 home games as underdogs. So 'we' will tread lightly but have...CHICAGO!
01-03-21 | Nuggets -8.5 v. Wolves | 124-109 | Win | 100 | 8 h 42 m | Show
Denver at Minnesota 7:00 ET Nuggets (+) over Timberwolves- Both of these clubs are struggling right now as Minnesota opened the season with a pair of wins but have now dropped three straight while the Nuggets have lost 4-of-5. The Timberwolves will be without start center Karl-Anthony Towns who will miss his fourth straight game and his absence leaves a huge void that the Wolves can't fill. Minnesota's losses have been by an average of 26.7 points. Take DENVER
01-02-21 | Cavs +7 v. Hawks | Top | 96-91 | Win | 100 | 11 h 31 m | Show |
Cleveland at Atlanta 7:30 ET Cavaliers (+) over Hawks- The Hawks are flying high and if Trae Young continues to score at this rate many will be hard pressed to match Atlanta's offensive output. They are No.1 in scoring at 129 ppg and are 4-1 coming off a huge 114-96 win at Brooklyn and return home for this game tonight. Cleveland jumped out 2-0 on the season and have dropped their last two including a 119-99 loss to Indiana two nights ago. The Cavaliers will be without Kevin Love and often that is a plus as they have started playing more competitive basketball going 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games. Atlanta as favorites haven't done all that well going 1-3-1 ATS in their last five and they are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 on zero days rest. Take CLEVELAND!
01-02-21 | Knicks +9.5 v. Pacers | 106-102 | Win | 100 | 10 h 59 m | Show
New York at Indiana 7:00 ET Knicks (+) over Pacers- These two met in their season opener 10 days ago a 119-99 home win for the Pacers who are playing hosts to the Knicks once again. New York had their mini winning streak stopped New Year's Eve by Toronto as they shot a franchise low 8% from beyond the arc going 3-for-36. The Knicks have four guards sidelined with injuries but altogether they don't equal the single player that Indiana had to shelve in T.J. Warren who led the team in scoring last season. New Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau has his squad playing defense first and they 5th in total points allowed and 3rd in defensive FG percentage. Indiana is 12-5 ATS as host against New York and 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 as favorites. But, things change...take NEW YORK!
01-02-21 | Hornets v. 76ers -9.5 | 112-127 | Win | 100 | 10 h 56 m | Show
Charlotte at Philadelphia 7:00 ET 76ers (-) over Hornets- Charlotte is off a home loss last night as crippled Memphis came to town and netted the Hornets to the tune of 108-93. Although they closed the 2020 season along with this season are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games as underdogs and 9-2-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall. I have more they are 9-3 ATS in the second of back-to-backs. Philadelphia who seem to be more focused under Doc Rivers are 7-2 ZATS in their last nine as home favorites and 14-6 Ats in their last 20 home games overall and they are also 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings Take the SIXERS!
01-01-21 | Blazers v. Warriors +4 | 123-98 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 42 m | Show
Portland at Golden State 10:30 ET Warriors (+) over Trailblazers- Golden State started the season with blowout losses to Brooklyn and Milwaukee but have responded with wins at Chicago and Detroit. This is their home opener and it will be a back-to-back home series against the Trailblazers as they meet again on Sunday. The turnaround was strictly because he just took over the last two times out scoring 67 points with 10 three-pointers. Golden State will be aided by the return of two players for the Warriors Draymond Green returns and for Portland Carmelo Anthony returns and that can only help any opponent. Portland is 10-24 ATS in their last 34 trips to Golden State. Take the WARRIORS!
01-01-21 | Clippers v. Jazz +3.5 | Top | 100-106 | Win | 100 | 10 h 13 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at Utah 9:00 ET Jazz (+) over Clippers- I wonder about these 4-1 LA Clippers because in their loss to Dallas they scored just 27 points in the entire first half. Now, I will give you that Leonard was not in the lineup, but they have played and won countless times while he's getting his nails clipped. After opening with a win at Portland the Jazz have failed to cover three straight and squeezed out their lone will against the striped bare Oklahoma City Thunder. Going back to last season the Jazz opening win was the only ATS win in their last nine games overall. Still, it's time...take UTAH!
01-01-21 | Lakers v. Spurs +6 | 109-103 | Push | 0 | 9 h 15 m | Show
L.A. Lakers at San Antonio 7:30 ET Spurs (+) over Lakers- Los Angeles had their way with the Spurs two nights ago as LeBron celebrated his birthday in a big way as the Lakers had their best shooting night of the short season. That of course was the game that 'Popovich' helped the NBA make a political statement by arranging the first female to coach in the NBA to get her opportunity. Wow, what a history making league! So impressive was Becky Hammon's performance (they lost 121-107) that the Spurs will have another shot at the Lakers. They get the money tonight...take SAN ANTONIO!
12-31-20 | Knicks v. Raptors -9 | Top | 83-100 | Win | 100 | 18 h 21 m | Show |
New York at Toronto 7:30 ET Raptors (-) over Knicks- Okay, enough le'ts get back to reality! Having 'had' the Knicks both games I am quite comfortable looking to pay against them here. Toronto who isn't sure where home is hasn't won a game (0-3) and they haven't covered' either. Now, the Raptors who have defeated New York eight straight times are a healthy 9-point favorite. If ever there was a spot to use a cliché this is 'what the doctor ordered' as Toronto needs a fix in the worst way. Last time out the blew a 14-point second half lead to the 76ers and they have already claimed that this is a 'must win' and I agree. Take TORONTO!
12-30-20 | Blazers +3.5 v. Clippers | 105-128 | Loss | -103 | 11 h 5 m | Show
Portland at L.A. Clippers 10:00 ET Trailblazers (+) over Clippers- The Clippers responded to their worst loss (123-74) in franchise history like true professionals rebounding against the lowly Timberwolves with a convincing 124-101 win. Kawhi Leonard of course was missing from both contests and most likely will sit out once again as he's still no sure as to when his eight stitches will be removed from his mouth. Portland of course did their thing last time out against the Lakers who they have a mastery over the NBA Champs. The Blazers also have an edge on the Clippers going 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings and are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six as underdogs while LA is 1-4 ATS in their last five as favorites. Take PORTLAND!
12-30-20 | Hornets +8 v. Mavs | 118-99 | Win | 100 | 10 h 36 m | Show
Charlotte at Dallas 8:30 ET Hornets (+) over Mavericks- Hey Dallas, what's that all about...I mean a 50-point lead over the Clippers their last time out after starting the season 0-2. Think about this, the biggest halftime lead in NBA history 77-27 and it was over the Clippers. The Mavericks also had good news as Kristaps Porzingis had a full day of practice and should ready soon but not tonight. Charlotte posted their first win of the season over Brooklyn as an 11-point underdog on Sunday as 'our' Megabucks winner as Gordon Hayward blends in with his new mates as he works with Luca Doncic. Hornets are 8-0-1 ATS in their last nine games as underdogs and 4-1 ATS in their last five trips to Dallas. Take CHARLOTTE!
12-30-20 | Lakers v. Spurs +5.5 | Top | 121-107 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 38 m | Show |
L.A. Lakers at San Antonio 8:30 ET Spurs (+) over Lakers- Los Angeles open the season with four games at home won the middle two while dropping their opener to the Clippers and Monday to Portland. They take to the road for the first time and are 1-3-1 ATS in their last away games. Lebron has been as good as ever and the Lakers still haven't settled in or found their chemistry, with Davis and others in-and-out things may take a bit of time. But, we are still talking about LeBron James who can and is the difference ANY time he decides. San Antonio broke out with a pair of wins but were totally out of whack last time out as they didn't box out allowing 13 offensive rebounds, committed 15 turnovers and made only eight free throws. Spurs 18-8 ATS in last 26 as home underdogs. Take SAN ANTONIO!
12-29-20 | Pelicans +3 v. Suns | 86-111 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 22 m | Show
New Orleans at Phoenix 10:00 ET Pelicans (+) over Suns- good start for both these clubs as neither has been to the playoffs in awhile. Phoenix last played in the post season 11 years ago and for New Orleans it's been three years. Both squads are looking for their young talented superstars to lead them to the promise land and they just might do it as Zion Williamson when healthy is unstoppable and few can keep up with the Suns Devin Booker. The Pelicans are 1-5 ATS in their last six road games while Phoenix is 7-0 ATS in their last seven home games. New Orleans is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings and 6-1 ATS in the last seven in Phoenix. Take the PELICANS!
12-29-20 | Celtics v. Pacers +1 | 116-111 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 23 m | Show
Boston at Indiana 7:00 ET Pacers (+) over Celtics- Anytime I hear 'it's just another game' or 'no need to panic' I think that quote came from is a loser. With the Celtics at 1-2 there is no need to panic, so why mention it! The Pacers are 3-0 and with a healthy Victor Oladipo returning to form Indiana is looking to rise to the next tier. Boston has had some changes to their roster and the biggest hole to fill was created by the departure of Gordon Hayward. After defeating Milwaukee 122-121 opening night the Celtics were blown out by the Nets and lost 108-107 against Indiana Sunday as a 2.5-point favorite and tonight they opened -1, it won't matter. This is the second of back-to-back games scheduled with the same team hosting the ' series' and the Pacers are looking for the sweep. Take INDIANA!
12-29-20 | Knicks +3.5 v. Cavs | Top | 95-86 | Win | 100 | 8 h 60 m | Show |
New York at Cleveland 7:00 ET Knicks (+) over Cavaliers- Break-up the Cavs, no hey break-up the Knicks! All of a sudden these two dog franchises have show life and have actually won some games. Cleveland is 3-0 both SU and ATS having defeated Charlotte, Detroit and Philadelphia not exactly the top tier of NBA clubs but their was one common denominator...the were underdogs in all three. The turnaround here is that they have become the favorite and have a target on their back. New York finally jumped into the win column handing Tom Thibodeau his first win with a 130-110 pounding of Milwaukee. That's a great confidence builder for this young Knicks team who look much improved. Take NEW YORK!
12-28-20 | Blazers +3.5 v. Lakers | 115-107 | Win | 100 | 9 h 50 m | Show
Portland at L.A. Lakers 10:00 ET Trailblazers (+) over Lakers- There is a bit of an anomaly surrounding this contest as Portland is just 3-8 ATS in the last 11 meetings but they are 21-8 ATS in the last 29 meetings in Los Angeles. The last time these two clubs met was in the first round of the 2020 'Bubble Playoffs' and the Lakers took the series 4-1. The Blazers were off to a slow start getting pounded 120-100 in their open to Utah and struggled to defeat a short-handed Houston square the COVID restrictions and only nine active players. Anthony Davis is out for LA and Carmelo Anthony is out for Portland and I'll take that exchange any day of the week. Take PORTLAND!
12-28-20 | Rockets v. Nuggets -6.5 | Top | 111-124 | Win | 100 | 8 h 51 m | Show |
Houston at Denver 9:00 ET Nuggets (-) over Rockets- Denver is 0-2 on the season and yet is a 9-point favorite over a team that has the league's leading scorer the last three seasons in James Harden. But that's not all, Houston also has four players in quarantine and the league is still looking to take action against Harden for violations of the COVID regulations. Denver who went to the conference finals last season is 0-2 at home losing outright as 9.5-point favorites in both games. Although the Rockets are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings but they are 7-17 ATS on the road while despite the recent losses the Nuggets are 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 at home. Third time will be a charm for the Nuggets at home...take DENVER!
12-28-20 | Grizzlies +4 v. Nets | 116-111 | Win | 100 | 6 h 20 m | Show
Memphis at Brooklyn 7:00 ET Grizzlies (+) over Nets- Dreams of a perfect season were dashed at Charlotte when the Hornets built an 18-point lead before holding on to hand the Nets first loss of the season 106-104. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have been outstanding together leading Brooklyn in scoring in all three of their game to date But, it appears that one of the Nets 'Big-Two' will mostly likely rest as both are coming off serious season ending injuries. Memphis is looking for their first win of the season and fight to get it here. Take MEMPHIS!
12-27-20 | Suns v. Kings +3 | 116-100 | Loss | -104 | 9 h 56 m | Show
Phoenix at Sacramento 9:00 ET Kings (+) over Suns- We are going to see a lot of back-to-back series between teams that might not seem that unusual except that like baseball the back-to-back series will have they home team hosting both games. The Kings prevailed for us last night over the Suns and I expect them to do it again tonight. Phoenix opened with a win over Dallas for their nine straight as the closed last season with eight straight win ending the season in the bubble. Phoenix is 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games following an ATS loss while the Kings are 10-2-1 ATAS in their last 13 as underdogs including 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine as home dogs. Take SACRAMENTO!
12-27-20 | Celtics v. Pacers +2.5 | 107-108 | Win | 100 | 8 h 57 m | Show
Boston at Indiana 8:00 ET Pacers (+) over Celtics- Boston opened their season with a thrilling 122-121 victory over Milwaukee and then held a 64-59 lead over Brooklyn at the half and were outscored 72-41 in the second. With the departure of Gordon Hayward and Al Horford Boston doesn't have the chemistry of recent seasons. Indiana has a healthy Victor Oladipo and a powerful Domantas Sabonis who is averaging 27 points and 12 rebounds per game. Boston is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 road games while the Pacers are 5-2-` ATS in their last eight home games. Take INDIANA!
12-27-20 | 76ers v. Cavs +7 | Top | 94-118 | Win | 100 | 7 h 28 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Cleveland 7:30 ET Cavaliers (+) over 76ers- The Sixers seem to have a new attitude under Doc Rivers leadership as Joel Embiid looks rejuvenated as he averages 28 points and 12 rebounds. Cleveland has won their first two games for the first time since LeBron James left as No. 1 draft pick Collin Sexton has been unstoppable and is off a 32 point performance. Kevin Love is back in the lineup and the Sixers were just 10-24 on the road last season. Take the CAVALIERS!
12-26-20 | Suns v. Kings +3.5 | 103-106 | Win | 100 | 11 h 54 m | Show
Phoenix at Sacramento 10:00 ET Kings (+) over Suns- It has been a combined 24 years between these two since either has made the playoffs 14 season for the Kings and 10 years for the Suns. Both clubs opened season with wins as Phoenix took care of Dallas at home while Sacramento went to Denver and won in OT 124-122. The Suns have now won nine straight as they were 8-0 in 'Bubble' games closing last season and they are 11-1 ATS in their last seven. The Kings have been playing well themselves as the are 5-2 ATS as underdogs in their last seven and 9-2-1 ATS as underdogs including 6-1-1 ATS at home as dogs. Take SACRAMENTO!
12-26-20 | Pacers v. Bulls +5 | 125-106 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 17 m | Show
Indiana at Chicago 8:00 ET
12-26-20 | 76ers v. Knicks +8.5 | Top | 109-89 | Loss | -104 | 9 h 53 m | Show |
Philadelphia at New York 7:30 ET Knicks (+) over 76ers- The 76ers did their thing staging a fourth quarter comeback in defeating the Wizards gaining the victory with a non-cover. In their opener against Indiana New York held a lead at the half and then just could keep pace as the Pacers just ran over the Knicks in the second half. New York under their first year with veteran coach Tom Thibodeau showed some signs of promise as RJ Barrett looked like the player the Knicks thought he could be. I'm not sure if Philadelphia has solved any of their internal issues but the are still 16-35-2 ATS in their last 53 road games. Take NEW YORK!
12-25-20 | Clippers v. Nuggets +2.5 | Top | 121-108 | Loss | -105 | 25 h 21 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at Denver 10:30 ET Nuggets (+) over Clippers- I just love the way this one sets itself up as the Clippers come off their opening night win over the NBA Champs and take to the road against a beaten-favorite. Denver lost in overtime at Sacramento and return home hungry for their first win of the season. The last time these two met was during the 'Bubble Playoffs' and LA had a 3-1 game lead in the series only to see the Nuggets come back with three straight wins. In their loss to the Kings Jamal Murray had one field goal before fouling out, I expect a much better performance tonight. Denver 10-4 ATS as home dogs. Take NUGGETS!
12-25-20 | Nets v. Celtics +3.5 | 123-95 | Loss | -114 | 20 h 51 m | Show
Brooklyn at Boston 5:00 ET Celtics (+) over Nets- Okay, everyone was waiting to see what the Nets would look and play like with their cadre of Superstars and they did not disappoint running away from the Warriors 125-99 with Durant and Irving leading the way with scoring 22 and 26 points respectively. Boston of course pulled another home underdog win against Milwaukee and are now 17-4 ATS as home underdogs and 23-8 in their last 31 games as dogs overall. Nets 7-2 ATS on the road but this is a new group and it's their first road game. Take BOSTON!
12-25-20 | Warriors +10.5 v. Bucks | 99-138 | Loss | -114 | 17 h 28 m | Show
Golden State at Milwaukee 2:30 ET Warriors (+) over Bucks- From what I've seen of the Warriors I'm beginning to wonder if the belong in this league. Granted losing Klay Thompson once again for a full season has doomed this franchise for another season. Along with Stephen Curry they were (are?) the best 'shooting guard' tandem in the league but with Draymon Green still out they don't have the defensive intensity needed and the pressure showed in Curry's terrible performance at Brooklyn on Tuesday. The Bucks had the best record in the NBA and still they have nothing to show for it while Golden State had the worst record in the league and got No. 1 pick James Wiseman out of the mix. Take the WARRIORS!
12-23-20 | Spurs +2 v. Grizzlies | Top | 131-119 | Win | 100 | 6 h 24 m | Show |
San Antonio at Memphis 8:00 ET Spurs (+) over Grizzlies- Memphis who has the youngest roster in the NBA averaging just 24 years of age qualified as the 8th seed in last seasons playoffs but loss a one-game play-in game to Portland ended their surprising season. The Grizzlies had a strong preseason winning their first three while San Antonio failed to win a game going 0-3 and losing all three game by at least 13 points. This is Popovich at his best. Spurs are 5-1 ATS as underdogs and Memphis is 2-7 ATS in their last seven overall. Take SAN ANTONIO!
12-23-20 | Heat v. Magic +5 | 107-113 | Win | 100 | 5 h 23 m | Show
Miami at Orlando 7:00 ET Magic (+) over Heat- It was just seven short weeks ago when the Miami Heat made their incredible run to the NBA Finals and they just may not be up to it this soon. Because of the short break between seasons and the knowledge of the grind ahead a number of players will be playing just a percentage of their normal minutes on the court and the one this affects the most is Jimmy Butler. Although the Magic seem to disappear at home going just 2-13-1 ATS in their last 16 as home underdogs they youth developed fast during the latter part of last season before the virus. Take ORLANDO!
12-23-20 | Hornets v. Cavs +2.5 | 114-121 | Win | 100 | 5 h 22 m | Show
Charlotte at Cleveland 7:05 ET Cavaliers (+over Hornets- Guess what? Cleveland's Kevin Love is nursing a right calf strain and will sit out the opener, what a shock as he has missed 69 games the past two seasons. Charlotte meanwhile is off their final preseason loss to Orlando as LaMelo Ball was 1-of-10 from the floor. The Hornets closed last season 7-0-1 ATS but it is a new time and the Cavaliers are 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games as home underdogs. Cavs center Andre Drummond averaged 17.2 points and 15.2 rebounds last season and said he is determined to be the NBA Defensive player of the year. It must start here. Take CLEVELAND!
12-22-20 | Clippers +3 v. Lakers | Top | 116-109 | Win | 100 | 24 h 35 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at L. A. Lakers 10:00 ET Clippers (+) over Lakers- The defending NBA champion Lakers will open the season against the Clippers and their will be no home court advantage. Not only because fans won't be allowed to attend but of course because the Clippers and Lakers play in the same building. LAL went 4-0 in the preseason and with their off-season acquisitions many believe they are even stronger while LAC who was 0-3 in the preseason remained pat for the most part. Okay, he's meaningless support for 'our' side...Clippers are 7-0 ATS when playing the Lakers as visitors. Take CLIPPERS!
10-11-20 | Lakers v. Heat +5 | Top | 106-93 | Loss | -100 | 19 h 12 m | Show |
L.A. Lakers vs Miami 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Heat- Yesterday, I didn't believe the Heat would lose again and win out in the series, but reality set in and although LA won the game Game 4 'we' did get the money. Now, we are in a position with Miami it is a chance to win and continue the series or keep it close so that we can get they money and they can go play golf or what ever they do in Miami during the off season. Take MIAMI!
10-09-20 | Heat v. Lakers -7 | 111-108 | Loss | -110 | 49 h 35 m | Show
L.A. Lakers vs Miami 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Heat- Yesterday, I didn't believe the Heat would lose again and win out in the series, but reality set in and although LA won the game 'we' did get the money. But, what it did was relieve any pressure there're might have been on the Lakers and they done feel like messing around with an extra game by not taking care of business tonight. Miami knows where they are and will ailing players in the line-up they will die slowly but surely die. Take LOS ANGELES!
10-06-20 | Lakers v. Heat +7.5 | Top | 102-96 | Win | 100 | 10 h 51 m | Show |
L.A. Lakers vs Miami 9:00 ET Heat (+) over Lakers- I could not have more off-base than what I predicted in Game 3 as Miami showed their grit and took it to the Lakers from start to finish winning 115-104. The Heat are brimming with confidence as Jimmy Butler's 'triple-double' wasn't enough of a statement until he boasts 'we won't lose again!' Los Angeles may have something to say about that as they have yet to lose back-to-back games and that may be so but they are 2-8-1 ATS after an ATS loss. Now, like when I hear a pitcher or quarterback say 'it's just another game' when it is more than just another game. The last to say it was Lamar Jackson before the Ravens against Kansas City on Monday night and he got smoked as they always do. In the same vein James says after his eight turnover performance, 'We're not concerned'....he should be! Miami is 14-4 ATS in their last 18 games overall. Enough for me! Take the HEAT!
10-04-20 | Lakers -9.5 v. Heat | Top | 104-115 | Loss | -107 | 20 h 20 m | Show |
Miami vs L.A. Lakers 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Heat- Okay Miami has given it the 'old college try'...but will fall short and the Lake Show is just beginning. With all the injuries growing The Heat have cooled off and LA is primed to sweep the series. Lebron as I said before is on a mission and will not be denied and along with Anthony Davis who has never been a winner in the pro ranks and came to LA for this sole purpose. I could go on with all kinds of numbers both good and bad on either side but it's just a matter of the Lakers finishing business. Take LOS ANGELES LAKERS!
10-02-20 | Heat +10 v. Lakers | 114-124 | Push | 0 | 11 h 35 m | Show
Miami vs L.A. Lakers 9:00 ET Heat (+) over Lakers- After their Game 1 debacle Miami finds themselves in an even deeper hole than they could have imagined as they will be without two of their main cogs. Injuries to guard Goran Dragic and center Ben Adebayo have left the Heat short-handed and they need every bit of manpower to deal with the Lakers superior inside play. LA out rebounded Miami 54-36 in Game 1 and I'm sure the Heat will make some adjustments. The line has been adjusted from 4.5 to 9.5 and will probably go higher. Take MIAMI!
09-30-20 | Heat v. Lakers -4.5 | Top | 98-116 | Win | 100 | 22 h 50 m | Show |
Miami vs L.A. Lakers 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Heat- The Heat won their last NBA Championship in 2013, their second of back-to-back titles over San Antonio and were led of course by LeBron James and I must give him props returning to the Finals once again. Miami like Los Angeles has won 12 of 15 playoff games and will have to measure up to the bigger Lakers inside by being more physical. L.A. has scored 44-points per game in the paint shooting 71% both leagues highs by wide margins. The Heat will need for their outside shooters to be on the mark to compete and they will use a 2-3 to stack the paint but, it won''t matter as LeBron is still muttering about the 'disrespectful' MVP vote. Take the LAKERS!
09-27-20 | Celtics -3 v. Heat | Top | 113-125 | Loss | -103 | 8 h 38 m | Show |
Miami vs Boston 7:30 ET Celtics (-) over Heat- The Celtics have managed to survive their own attitude and now are two wins away from the NBA Finals. Boston had to make some adjustments as Miami came out determined in this series pushing the Celts to the brink of elimination. But, Boston survived and now have the psychological edge, as they have regained their confidence and are 24-9 ATS as playoff favorites. The Heat have been tough but are just 5-11 ATS versus Boston. Take the4 CELTICS!
09-26-20 | Nuggets v. Lakers -5 | 107-117 | Win | 100 | 10 h 18 m | Show
L.A. Lakers vs Denver 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Nuggets- Los Angeles up 3-1 in this series are well aware of Denver's resolve and determination not to quit. Trailing 3-1 in the past two series against the Jazz and Clippers the Nuggets managed to overcome to odds and win both series to face the Lakers in the Western Finals. The Lakers as a franchise have not lost a playoff series in which they lead 2-0 since 1969 when the lost to the Celtics. This time they will not need the dramatics...Take LOS ANGELES!
09-25-20 | Heat v. Celtics UNDER 213.5 | Top | 108-121 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 2 m | Show |
Miami and Boston 8:30 ET Heat/Celtics- UNDER- I've had this series 'clocked' with the winning side in all four Eastern Final meetings. This time around Boston is facing elimination and the first thing they will do is get back to basics and that starts with defense. The Celtics are the club that is fighting for survival and respond to losses by going 6-1 Under after a straight-up loss and 12-5 UNDER in their last 17 overall. Miami has played to the UNDER in six of their last eight against teams with winning records. Take the UNDER!
09-24-20 | Lakers -6 v. Nuggets | Top | 114-108 | Push | 0 | 11 h 58 m | Show |
L.A. Lakers vs Denver 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Nuggets- Will the real L.A. Lakers please stand-up! After taking a 2-0 lead over Denver when it looked as though the Nuggets couldn't handle the 'Lakesters' big two of Lebron James and Anthony Davis. But, this 'Mile-High City' club just doesn't quit and we have seen that as the recovered from 3-1 deficits against both Utah and the Clippers. LA has struggled withy Denver during the regular season going just 10-21 ATS in the last 31 meetings, but that is regular season action. Denver is 5-1 ATS in the Playoffs as an underdog. Still, one sure thing about these NBA Playoffs just when you think a team is 'done' they will bounce back. It doesn't look like the Lakers could cover a pot with a lid but of course this pot has gold in it. Take LOS ANGELES!
09-23-20 | Celtics v. Heat +3.5 | Top | 109-112 | Win | 100 | 10 h 46 m | Show |
Boston and Miami 8:30 ET Heat (+) over Celtics- Okay, Miami is up 2-1 in games but the stats between the clubs are virtually dead even from points, to rebounds to assists and free throws. Then what will be the difference maker today...it's Jimmy Butler! Teams this deep in the playoffs should have positive trends and they both do. Boston is 23-8-1 ATS in their last 32 playoffs games although they are just 1-4 ATS in their last five in the Conference Finals. Miami is 10-2 ATS in the playoffs including their loss on Saturday and the Heat are an amazing 24-8-2 (75%) after a straight-up loss. Defense is the key as the Heat play it better. Take MIAMI!
09-22-20 | Lakers -6.5 v. Nuggets | Top | 106-114 | Loss | -107 | 11 h 41 m | Show |
L.A. Lakers vs Denver 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Nuggets- Los Angeles up 2-0 in this series are well aware of Denver's resolve and determination not to quit. Trailing 3-1 in the past two series against the Jazz and Clippers the Nuggets managed to overcome to odds and win both series to face the Lakers in the Western Finals. The Lakers as a franchise have not lost a playoff series in which they lede 2-0 since 1969 when the lost to the Celtics. LA was up double figures in the fourth but needed a buzzer beater bye Anthony Davis to get by. This time they will not need the dramatics...Take LOS ANGELES!
09-20-20 | Nuggets v. Lakers -7.5 | 103-105 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 0 m | Show
Denver vs L.A. Lakers 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Nuggets- You know I'm not a big fan of the media as I think most of what they do is self-serving and often way too bias and not always in the political arena. Now, 'they' have gone too far, now they have done something so egregious that I doin't know if the Denver Nuggets can ever survive. LeBron James is 'pissed off' that he only received 16 first-place votes for MVP placing him second behind Giannis Antetokounmpo. James claims placing second isn't the issue...'Okay, but only 16 votes'. I still believe there no greater honor then being voted into an All-Star Game or receiving an award like this (MVP) than being selected by your peers. That's the respect you want the truth for you opponents. So, now the Nuggets will pay the price as LeBron take revenge on the world. I really think this series is over and Denver will be lucky to win one game...Take LOS ANGELES!
09-19-20 | Celtics -138 v. Heat | Top | 117-106 | Win | 100 | 21 h 37 m | Show |
Boston vs Miami 8:30 ET Celtics over Heat- (ML or ATS)- The Celtics find themselves in deep do-do after blowing 17 and 14 point leads in Games 1 and 2. I don't want to say that they were crying in the locker room after the Game 2 loss but coach Brad Stevens had to be the grown-up in the room and met Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker (who has been just terrible) and soothed their fragile egos. Miami has the 'Mojo' and has won 10 of 11 since the Playoffs started and it looks like they just don't have the time to fool around. The Heat are tough against the Bean-Towner's going 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings. Jimmy Butler is 'the' force that has to be reckoned with and if Steven's club will listen to him they will be able to balance off Butler and pray Kemba regains his touch. In a must situation I do not want lay more than 1-point (Play Money line). If is have to play it at -2.5 or -3 so be it. In baseball 'we' don't think too much of having to lay -140 so if you can get it under that price, I say go for it. Celts are 22-8-1 ATS in their last 31 playoff games as the favorite. The pressure is on and Boston must deliver or it's off to the links...A GREAT game to watch...take BOSTON!
09-18-20 | Nuggets v. Lakers -7 | Top | 114-126 | Win | 100 | 11 h 33 m | Show |
Denver vs L.A. Lakers 9:00 ET Lakers (-) over Nuggets- Denver has accomplished a feat never done before in the NBA and that is win two separate playoff series after trailing three games to one. After defeating the LA Clippers 104-89 in Game 7 in which they held the Clippers scoreless for seven minutes in the final quarter and kept Kawhi Leonard and Paul George with a point in the fourth quarter. Denver is playing in their first conference Final since 2009 when they fell to the Lakers in six games. The Nuggets are 19-9 ATS in the last 28 meetings but LA is 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall. These two are used to playing high scoring games as the total between these two is 20-7-2 to the Over. Take the LAKERS!
09-17-20 | Heat v. Celtics UNDER 209.5 | 106-101 | Win | 100 | 9 h 47 m | Show
Miami vs Boston 7:00 ET Heat/Celtics UNDER- This the NBA Playoffs and defense is king. These two one of which will represent the East in the Finals both play good defense as a general rule and now their talents are amped up. Miami has played Under in 7 of their last 10 and Boston is 8-2 Under in their last 10. The Celtics have gone Under 7-1 after playing on one days rest and these two have gone Under 7-3 in their last 10 meetings. Play UNDER! Thank you and Good Luck!

Denver vs L.A. Clippers 9:00 ET Clippers (-) over Nuggets- Los Angeles was having so much fun and then they looked at the scoreboard and saw that they had a 19-point lead and they started thinking about the Lakers for the second straight hame and blew another chance to end this series. Yep, well Denver was only thinking about surviving. But, this Los Angeles team has never won anything and knows that they still have to prove themselves and will taking nothing for granted this time around and add the Clippers are 21-7 ATS following a straight-up loss. Take L.A. CLIPPERS!

L.A. Clippers vs Denver 1:00 ET Clippers (-) over Nuggets- Los Angeles was having so much fun and then they looked at the scoreboard and saw that they had a 15-point lead and they started thinking about the Lakers. Yep, well Denver was only thinking about surviving. After that the Nuggets played 'desperation ball' and found gold and out-scored the shocked Clippers by 21-points for the 111-105 win. But, this Los Angeles team has never won anything and knows that they still have to prove themselves and will taking nothing for granted this time around and add the Clippers are 21-6 ATS following a straight-up loss. Take L.A. CLIPPERS!
09-12-20 | Rockets +6.5 v. Lakers | Top | 96-119 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 47 m | Show |
L.A. Lakers vs Houston 8:30 ET Rockets (+) over Lakers- Well, when I hear a team has 'no shot' and everyone has counted them out and are starting to look toward the next matchup funny things can happen. James Harden has been his usually playoff self which is so sub-par (just 2 field goals in Game 4). Houston hasn't changed much in recent seasons they will try and out-run you and out gun you and when they are 'on' they are tough to beat. The problems with shooting teams is the streaks they incur. Really no pressure here on Rockets most thinking they are already dead...Take HOUSTON!
09-11-20 | Celtics v. Raptors +3 | Top | 92-87 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 25 m | Show |
Boston vs Toronto 9:00 ET Raptors (+) over Celtics- The well balanced Boston Celtics in the back of their minds have to be thinking 'what if' that miracle shot that won Game 3 fell short. Instead of a commanding 3-0 lead the Celtics now find themselves 3-3 and in a do-or-die game. Kemba Walker had one of his worst nights of the season and still it took Toronto two overtimes to defeat Boston to tie the series. Karma is a bitch...take CLIPPERS!
09-11-20 | Nuggets +8 v. Clippers | 111-105 | Win | 100 | 8 h 48 m | Show
Denver vs L.A. Clippers 6:30 ET Nuggets (+) over Clippers- No. 3 seed Denver is once again down 3-1 in a playoff series and most regroup immediately for the series to continue. The Nuggets need to get off to a quick start as the trailed the entire game in the last meeting. The Clippers are where they expected to be and are anxious to play in the Western Finals and will be playing with confidence and the knowledge that they have some leeway with a 3-1 in games advantage, Take NUGGETS!
09-10-20 | Lakers v. Rockets +5 | Top | 110-100 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 56 m | Show |
L.A. Lakers vs Houston 8:30 ET Rockets (+) over Lakers- When looking at this series I get the feeling that the :Lakers are blowing Houston out, but that's not the case as the series is just 2-1 LA and today is Game 4. Houston hasn't changed much in recent seasons they will try and out-run you and out gun you and when they are on they are tough to beat. The problems with shooting teams is the streaks they incur. All that goes by the wayside while Rockets play the Lakers as they dominated L.A. in recent years and are 17-10 ATS in the last 27 meetings and the Lakers are 6-10 ATS as favorites and just 6-11 ATS in their last 17 games overall. Take HOUSTON!
09-09-20 | Clippers -8 v. Nuggets | 96-85 | Win | 100 | 11 h 55 m | Show
L.A. Clippers vs Denver 9:00 ET Clippers (-) over Nuggets- The difference in this series for the Nuggets compared to their last series against Utah is Jamal Murray. Against the Jazz Murray posted games with 50,42 and 50 points in three straight games but as of now he has scored 17 or less in three of four games with a low of 12 points in Game 1 of this series. L.A is 7-3 ATS as favorites and 17-8 ATS overall in their last 25. Take CLIPPERS!
09-09-20 | Raptors +3.5 v. Celtics | Top | 125-122 | Win | 100 | 8 h 22 m | Show |
Toronto vs Boston 6:30 ET Raptors (+) over Celtics- The well balanced Boston Celtics are one win away from the Eastern Conference Finals and the Raptors find themselves in the same position as last season, down 3-2 in a seven game series. Both these clubs have been great all season long and trends say that both of these clubs are worthy of a wager. Even with Serge Ibaka in a walking boot the Raptors will be all in. So take TORONTO!
09-08-20 | Lakers v. Rockets +5 | 112-102 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 28 m | Show
Houston vs L.A. Lakers 8:30 ET Rockets (+) over Lakers- Houston who has not had the respect of NBA pundits who just don't believe in 'small ball' and little respect for any team that doesn't play much defense. All that goes by the wayside while Rockets play the Lakers as they dominated L.A. in recent years and are 17-9 ATS in the last 26 meetings. Houston is 5-2 ATS in their last seven as underdogs and the Lakers are 5-10 ATS as favorites and just 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games overall. Take HOUSTON!
09-08-20 | Heat v. Bucks +4 | 103-94 | Loss | -106 | 7 h 56 m | Show
Milwaukee vs Miami 3:30 ET Bucks (+) over Heat- The NBA's No. 1 seed is still on the brink of elimination as Milwaukee just hasn't lived up to expectations once again in the NBA playoffs. Last season the Bucks were ousted by Toronto after taking a 2-0 series lead and this time around the have shown their weakness. What is their weakness...Giannis Antetokounmpo. The League MVP and Defensive Player of the Year just can shoot beyond the arc. He was exposed in the 2019 playoffs as a poor 3-point shooter and this year has been even worse. Giannis who's 3-point shooting is 3-14 has left too much slack. With virtually no shot at winning this series the Bucks can play relaxed and I expect more from them today. Take MILWAUKEE!
09-07-20 | Celtics v. Raptors +1.5 | Top | 111-89 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 2 m | Show |
Boston vs Toronto 6:30 ET Raptors (+) over Celtics- I can't help but think the Celtics had in their minds that they were leading this series 3-0...and then OG Anunoby changed the playoffs gods over to his side and Boston has been sunk ever since and they know it. How's that sound...we have seen it happen. I could support my instincts with more fodder and stats but they won't matter in the 'Bubble'. So take TORONTO!

All that goes by the wayside while Rockets play the Lakers as they dominated L.A. in recent years and are 17-8 ATS in the last 25 meetings. Houston is 5-1 ATS in their last six as underdogs and the Lakers are 4-10 ATS as favorites and just 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games overall. Take HOUSTON!

09-05-20 | Nuggets v. Clippers -9 | 110-101 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 24 m | Show
Denver vs L.A. Clippers 9:00 ET Nuggets (-) over Clippers- I have already heard that this series is history and that Denver won't win a single game. Well, they were the No. 3 seed in the West and have to ability to bounce back after a loss as they are 15-7-2 ATS in their last 24 games following a straight-up loss. The Clippers are most likely destined to make the Western Conference Finals for a showdown with the Lakers and are 9-2 ATS playing teams with winning records. L.A. shot 57.1% while Denver was at 42.2% and they should bothy move toward the c enter with that. It's not that I think the Clippers are taking anything for granted because they have yet to win anything. But, the Nuggets should come to play. Take DENVER!

Toronto vs Boston Total 6:30 ET Raptors/Celtics OVER- Every conceivable Totals trend is overwhelming to the Under with 19 out 20 Boston trends say 'under' and believe it or not 20 of 20 of the Raptors totals trends say 'under'. Now, some might say that I'm taking the OVER because I am such a contrarian but that's not it. It's that one trend of Boston's and is, the OVER is good 12-3 after a Celtics outright loss. And it's way too much overkill with all those 'other' trends. Take the OVER! Good Luck!

Funny things happen in sports we've seen it time and again before, I can recall The Cavs down 3-1 and the Mavs having all but eliminate the Heat and then...Shit Happens! The Celtics have to be thinking of how close they were to taking a 3-0 lead in this series and now the Raptors are right back ion it and have got to be feeling great because if it was 0-3 they would have already started packing for the 'Great White North.' The dramatic series changing shot ending Game 3 will buoy the Raptors while depressing the Celtics. Take TORONTO! Thank you and Good Luck!
09-04-20 | Bucks -5.5 v. Heat | Top | 100-115 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 10 m | Show |
Milwaukee vs Miami 6:30 ET Bucks (-) over Heat- Having had the Heat in both Games 1 & 2 I feel comfortable switching sides in Game 3. Playing against Miami might not be the wisest though I've had as they are 6-0 both ATS and straight-up in the playoffs and have won 10 of 11 overall in the playoffs and are 6-1 over the Bucks in the last seven meetings. Okay, that's all well and good but the way Milwaukee closed last years playoffs blowing a 2-0 games lead over Toronto and having the media whisper that maybe, just maybe Giannis Antetokounmpo isn't a 'big game' player. Well, Milwaukee finished with the best recored in the NBA and it's time for them to measure up against the Heat. Take the BUCKS!
09-03-20 | Raptors v. Celtics +1.5 | Top | 104-103 | Win | 100 | 8 h 18 m | Show |
Toronto vs Boston 5:30 ET Celtics (+) over Toronto- The Raptors had the best 'regular' season finish in the 'bubble' coming away with seven wins in eight games and then went out and swept (4-0) Brooklyn before getting run over by the Celtics in Game 1. Now, it is Boston that is streaking having won six straight and 10 of 11 and are 21-8 ATS as underdogs. Toronto is 24-10-1 ATS in their last 35 games following an ATS loss and 8-4 ATS following a straight-up loss and are going down again tonight. Take BOSTON!
09-02-20 | Thunder v. Rockets -5.5 | Top | 102-104 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 35 m | Show |
Oklahoma City vs Houston 9:00 ET Thunder (+) over Rockets- Oklahoma City has been the most pleasant surprise this NBA season and they have shown resiliency coming back from an 0-2 deficit and then again winning game 6 when facing elimination. The Thunder are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings and are 35-17 ATS in their last 52 games as underdogs. Houston on the flip side is just 2-5 ATS as favorites and 3-8 ATS following a straight-up loss. Today the Rockets respond! Take HOUSTON!
09-02-20 | Heat +5 v. Bucks | 116-114 | Win | 100 | 8 h 40 m | Show
Miami vs Milwaukee 6:30 ET Heat (+) over Bucks- Milwaukee seems to have a habit of losing the first game of playoff series that has put them in a hole to start with before. They were able to rebound against Orlando after dropping game one but this time their opponent has leg up on the Bucks as Miami plays well against them going 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings. Miami gets ready for Conference Semifinal games going 29-13 ATS over the years and are 5-0 ATS in the playoffs. The 'Greek Freak' once again is feeling playoff pressure taking only 12 shots and committing six turnovers. Take the HEAT!
09-02-20 | Heat v. Bucks UNDER 221 | 116-114 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 34 m | Show
Miami vs Milwaukee 6:30 ET Heat/Bucks UNDER- Both of these clubs play a different brand of defense when up against tougher competition. Miami is 5-1 'under' in their last six playoff games and the Bucks are 14-6-2 UNDER in their last 22 games when playing a team with a winning record. The 'Greek Freak' is feeling playoff pressure once again and his offense has suffered. Play UNDER!
09-01-20 | Jazz v. Nuggets UNDER 217 | 78-80 | Win | 100 | 10 h 48 m | Show
Jazz/Nuggets UNDER- Two power packed offensive teams are getting down to the nitty-gritty and when that happens it win revolves around defense. Although these two have played to the over in head-to-head meetings this game has special significance as the loser is eliminated. I doubt there will be any 50-point scorers tonight (there have been four 50-point performances). Play UNDER!
09-01-20 | Jazz -106 v. Nuggets | Top | 78-80 | Loss | -106 | 10 h 2 m | Show |
Utah vs Denver 8:30 ET Jazz (+) over Nuggets- Denver took the opening game of this series and then Utah stormed back with three straight wins before the Nuggets rebounded with a pair of victories to even the series at 3-3.6-2 ATS as playoff favorites. Denver is faced with a franchise first if they can manage a win here as they have never won a playoff series after trailing 3-1 (it has been done11 times in NBA history). On the flip side Utah has never lost a series when leading 3-1 in games and although the Nuggets Jamal Murray has had a pair of 50-point games he has been matched by Utah's Donovan Mitchell who has posted two 50-point games as well. Starting as the higher Denver and as a 4.5-point favorite in Game 1 and now they opened a 1-point dog and have gone to a small favorite. Take UTAH!
09-01-20 | Celtics +1.5 v. Raptors | 102-99 | Win | 103 | 7 h 2 m | Show
Boston vs Toronto 5:30 ET The Raptors had the best 'regular' season finish in the 'bubble' coming away with seven wins in eight games and then went out and swept (4-0) Brooklyn before getting run over by the Celtics in Game 1. Now, it is Boston that is streaking having won five straight and nine of 10 and the are 20-8 ATS as underdogs but just 2-5 ATS as playoff underdogs. Toronto is 24-9-1 ATS in their last 34 games following an ATS loss and 8-3 ATS following a straight-up loss and are going down again tonight. Take BOSTON!
08-31-20 | Rockets v. Thunder UNDER 225.5 | 100-104 | Win | 100 | 11 h 17 m | Show
Rockets/Thunder UNDER – You would think of sparks could happen on the court with the explosive offensive weapons these guys bring to the table. But, in pressure games meaningful game both during the regular season and especially in the post season. Three of the four games that they have split have gone 'over' the number and now with OKC back in the hunt the Rockets will have to tighten up on the defensive end and that leads to tightening up on the other end as well. Play UNDER!
08-31-20 | Rockets v. Thunder +6 | Top | 100-104 | Win | 100 | 12 h 31 m | Show |
Houston vs Oklahoma City 9:00 ET Thunder (+) over Rockets-This is strictly a home-and-home series with which ever team is designated to wear their home colors is the winner and has been the case in all five playoff meetings. These two had closed the regular season meetings with the Thunder having a five-game win and cover streak. This game should play toward the 'number' as Houston is just 2-5 ATS in their last s even games after scoring 100 the previous game while the Thunder is 11-3 ATS in their last 14 game following a straight-up loss of more than 10 points. Take OKLAHOMA CITY
08-31-20 | Heat +5.5 v. Bucks | 115-104 | Win | 100 | 9 h 40 m | Show
Miami vs Milwaukee 6:30 ET Heat (+) over Bucks- Miami won both regular season meetings until they met in the 'Bubble' when the Bucks prevailed 130-116 as the Heat's Jimmy Butler sat out. These two met March 2nd in Miami once during the regular season and the Bucks were favored (-5) so now playing in a neutral site they price hasn't moved. The Heat were affected by the quick NBA boycott as they had already swept the Pacers. Advantage Miami and as Conference Semi-finals they are 28-18-1 ATS while the Bucks are 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine games following a straight-up win. Take MIAMI!
08-30-20 | Nuggets +2.5 v. Jazz | Top | 119-107 | Win | 100 | 9 h 7 m | Show |
Denver vs Utah 4:00 ET Nuggets (+) over Jazz- Denver won all three regular season meetings and then took a 1-0 lead in the Playoffs by winning Game 1 135-125 in overtime and then dropped the last three before overcoming a 15-point third quarter deficit and won easy 117-107. Utah now has a 3-2 series lead but are still 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings. The Jazz who have come alive are just 4-17-2 ATS in their last 23 games as favorites while the Nuggets are not any better as they are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games after an ATS win. Denver entered the 6th seed and Utah the 3rd seed and will leave it all on the floor here as they face elimination. Take the NUGGETS!
08-30-20 | Celtics +2 v. Raptors | Top | 112-94 | Win | 100 | 2 h 2 m | Show |
Boston vs Toronto 6:30 ET Celtics (+) over Raptors- The Raptors helped as a Power Play winner over Brooklyn 150-122 and defeated the Nets by 82 points in their four game sweep. Boston swept Philadelphia 4-0 but not necessarily in such dominating fashion. I rarely have problems thing about playing 'against' any team that scores 150 points in a night. The competition near is much tougher and better seasoned than the Nets. The Celtics are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings and are 15-5 ATS as underdogs. Toronto is still NBA Champs and they are 6-2 ATS in right playoff games as the favorite. But today...it's BOSTON! Thank you and Good Luck!
08-29-20 | Blazers +13.5 v. Lakers | 122-131 | Win | 100 | 23 h 18 m | Show
L.A. Lakers vs Portland 9:00 ET Trailblazers (+) over Lakers- Well, the Lakers rolled over the Blazers in Game 4 but before that game many thought Portland had a shot to knock the Lakers out of the playoffs. Portland has given Los Angeles fits over the years going 47-23 ATS in the last 70 regular season meetings. But, this is the playoffs and the Lakers got their 'wakeup' call in Game 1 which was their sixth straight ATS loss to the Blazers and they came alive for Games 2, 3 and 4 and they aren't stopping here. Damian Lillard is out and the line will be inflated. But, what bothers me is that their were just two teams that voted to cancel the rest of the Playoffs and The Lakers were one of them. I wonder if their hearts will be in it? Take the BLAZERS
08-29-20 | Thunder +5 v. Rockets | Top | 80-114 | Loss | -103 | 21 h 49 m | Show |
Houston vs Oklahoma City 6:30 ET Thunder (+) over Rockets- As I said last time out the Rockets hot shooting would taper off and it did in Game 4. The question here is has Houston recovered enough after having fallen off with their 3-point shooting. OKC had won five straight in the series until these playoffs and it seems Houston has been saving it all up for this but the Thunder responded with a win in Games 3 & 4 and have evened the series. As I said before this game will show which club has more character. I don't believe that simply changing uniforms without the benefit of a home crown cheering for you makes much difference although the listed home team has won all four. Ha! The Thunder were one of the league's biggest surprises this season and had the best ATS record in the NBA and with desperate times at hand they will respond. Take OKLAHOMA CITY!
08-29-20 | Magic +13.5 v. Bucks | 104-118 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 5 m | Show
Milwaukee vs Orlando 4:00 ET Magic (+) over Bucks- The Bucks made short work of the Magic in Games 3 and 4 and were aroused after their Game-1 loss a 25-point ATS loss. Orlando is 5-1 ATS after a double-digit loss but just 1-5 ATS in their last six as underdogs. Milwaukee's Khris Middleton was been invisible the first three games but came alive last time out. The Magic may disappear from the Playoffs after tonight be they will go down swinging. Take ORLANDO!
08-25-20 | Mavs v. Clippers -6.5 | 111-154 | Win | 100 | 10 h 46 m | Show
Dallas vs L.A. Clippers 9:00 ET Clippers (-) over Mavericks- The Mavericks Luca Doncic at 21 years of age put on one of the most dominating playoff performances that are drawing him comparisons to Larry Bird as his 43 points, 17 rebounds and 13 assists along with his winning buzzer beater pushed Dallas over the hump. Kristaps Porzingis sat out Game 4 which set Doncic free and his status in day-to-day. The Mavs have difficulty posting back-to-back wins as they are 1-5 ATS after a straight-up win and just 2-6 ATS in their;last eight meetings. L.A. On the other hand is 20-6 ATS following a straight-up loss. Take the CLIPPERS!
08-25-20 | Jazz v. Nuggets UNDER 221 | 107-117 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 18 m | Show
Jazz/Nuggets UNDER 221- I have spoken of trends when dealing with 'totals' so my side here may be surprising as Utah is 8-2 Over in their last 10 overall and play 7-2 to the Over after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. Denver is 21-7-1 in their last 29 overall and 8-1 Over when playing as an underdog. So, why would I think of playing Under here, well because Under is 20-8 in the last 28 meetings and I believe Playoff pressure and necessity will be forefront for the Nuggets survive. Play UNDER!
08-25-20 | Jazz v. Nuggets +3 | Top | 107-117 | Win | 100 | 8 h 33 m | Show |
Utah vs Denver 6:30 ET Nuggets (+) over Jazz- Denver won all three regular season meetings and then took a 1-0 lead in the Playoffs by winning Game 1 135-125 in overtime but have dropped the last three. Utah now has a 3-1 series lead but are still 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings. The Jazz who have come alive are just 4-16-2 ATS in their last 22 games as favorites while the Nuggets are not any better as they are 2-7 ATS in their last nine games after an ATS win. Denver entered the 6th seed and Utah the 3rd seed and will leave it all on the floor here as they face elimination. Take the NUGGETS!
08-24-20 | Lakers v. Blazers +7.5 | 135-115 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 52 m | Show
L.A. Lakers vs Portland 8:30 ET Trailblazers (+) over Lakers- Well, we got what we wanted winning the last two with the Lakers over the Blazers but Portland is the team that many feel can still knock the Lakers out of the playoffs. They have given Los Angeles fits over the years going 47-23 ATS in the last 70 regular season meetings. But, this is the playoffs and the Lakers got their 'wakeup' call in Game 1 which was their sixth straight ATS loss to the Blazers and came alive for Games 2 & 3 winners for us. Lillard isn't hurting enough to be stopped and LA will have to scratch their way out of this one. Take the TRAILBLAZERS!!
08-24-20 | Pacers v. Heat -6 | 87-99 | Win | 100 | 8 h 27 m | Show
Indiana vs Miami 6:30 ET Heat (-) over Pacers- Indiana has given it the good 'old college try' but injuries have taken the blood and guts out of this team. Entering this series the Pacers actually had a better record than Miami but they don't look like they belong on the same floor especially on offense. Although Indiana is tough going 6-2 ATS after a straight-up loss, they are 0-5-1 ATS in their last six games as playoff underdogs. The Heat are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and 5-0 ATS in their last five playoff games as favorites. Take MIAMI!
08-24-20 | Rockets v. Thunder +3.5 | Top | 114-117 | Win | 100 | 6 h 24 m | Show |
Houston vs Oklahoma City 4:00 ET Thunder (+) over Rockets- As I said last time out the Rockets hot shooting would taper off and it did in Game 3. The question here is has Houston recovered enough after having fallen off with their 3-point shooting. OKC had won five straight in the series until these playoffs and it seems Houston has been saving it all up for this but the Thunder responded with a win in Game 3 and this game will show which club has more character. The Thunder were one of the league's biggest surprises this season and had the best ATS record in the NBA and with desperate times at hand they will respond. Take OKLAHOMA CITY!
08-23-20 | Nuggets +3.5 v. Jazz | 127-129 | Win | 100 | 11 h 4 m | Show
Denver vs Utah 4:00 ET Here's a team that has had defensive issues all season now have problem with they are beat at and that is shooting the ball. The Nuggets have fallen behind early and then have difficulty finding their rhythm after the slow start. Rudy Gobert has taken over with his power game and Denver doesn't seem to have an answer. Utah has 'covered' the number in the past two victories by 59 points but had dropped four straight to Denver before this current two-game domination. After the way the Nuggets were steamrolled the past two contests makes me believe if that have any professionalism at all baring injury they will be ready to play.Take DENVER!
08-23-20 | Raptors v. Nets +13.5 | 150-122 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 53 m | Show
Toronto vs Brooklyn 1:30 ET Nets (+) over Raptors- Brooklyn has shown the Raptors that they can play and Toronto is taking nothing for granted as they look to prove last season was no fluke. The Raptors like the spacing of games as they are 44-20 ATS on one day's rest and they are 10-3 ATS in their last 13. The Nets have played themselves well with one day's rest going 16-6 ATS but are just 1-6 in last seven playoff games as underdogs but with show up today as the Raptors coast. Take BROOKLYN! |
