FAU has been the surprise team in 2022-2023 as just 3 losses have marked their season. This team has played with so much confidence and swagger heading into Saturday.

They do all of the little things right. They rebound well, they attack the glass well, and they can shoot the ball as good as anyone. Look for them to continue that trend as you'll be hard pressed to find a team who is playing as well as them right now.

Xavier +4.5

Xavier (27-9, 19-16-1 ATS) and Texas (28-8, 18-17-1 ATS) meet in the Sweet 16.

The Musketeers are worth the move in this one.

Xavier awoke from a sluggish start in their opening game and they have picked up a lot of steam. They're playing with a ton of confidence as they can score in flurries. They were one of the best in the Big East in scoring and their ability to open shooting lanes is one of the best in the nation.

Texas will struggle with the amount of scorers Xavier has, as they can hit teams from so many different angles.

Some trends to note. Musketeers are 25-8-2 ATS in their last 35 NCAA Tournament games. Musketeers are 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Friday 9* CBB ATS Play

OVER 145.5

Gonzaga (30-5, 13-20-1 ATS) and UCLA (31-5, 21-13-2 ATS) are set up for one of the more entertaining games of this tournament. 

These two teams love to run and gun and that will play a huge piece in to this over. 

The Bulldogs and Bruins aren't shy about hoisting up shots early in the shot clock. They love to get up and down the floor and will attack the rim. This has the makings of the kind of game where both teams will try to push the tempo on one another.

Some trends to note. Over is 4-1 in Bulldogs last 5 games following a ATS loss. Over is 9-3 in Bulldogs last 12 overall. Over is 8-3 in Bulldogs last 11 games following a straight up win.

Thursday 7* CBB O/U Play

OVER 131

The Owls (33-3, 22-11-1 ATS) and the Volunteers (25-10, 18-17 ATS) meet in the Sweet 16 on Thursday night.

These two teams have made a lot of noise through their first couple of games. Florida Atlantic has been the surprise team this season as no matter what conference you play in, only having 3 losses is something to write home about. They can shoot the 3 ball with the best in the country and their ability to attack the rim with their speed is tough to handle.

Tennessee will have the physical play on their side and they should be able to control the paint on the offensive end. 

Some trends to note. Over is 7-1-1 in Owls last 9 Thursday games. Over is 17-8-2 in Owls last 27 games following a ATS loss.

Thursday 6* CBB O/U Play

Arkansas +3.5

Arkansas (22-13, 18-16-1 ATS) and Connecticut (27-8, 23-11-1 ATS) meet in the Sweet 16.

Arkansas has value here grabbing the points. The Razorbacks upset Kansas with a nice second half comeback as this team can go toe to toe with anyone. They do the little things right and it translates into some very big momentum swings.

Arkansas attacks the glass and they aren't shy about going for offensive rebounds. Combine that with their solid free throw shooting and they matchup well with Uconn here.

A trend to note. Razorbacks are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 neutral site games. 

This has the makings of a close game throughout, where Arkansas can steal it outright.

Thursday 9* CBB ATS Play

Cincinnati PK

Cincinnati (23-12, 23-11-0 ATS) meets with surprise team Utah Valley (27-8, 23-9-0 ATS) In the NIT. 

The Bearcats are at a nice price here, as Utah Valley is getting a bit overvalued. While they have been good obviously, this is a Cincinnati team that is going to bring a ton of physicality to this matchup. Utah Valley will be in store for one of the toughest defenses, who will put on a ton of pressure from start to finish. 

Look for Cincinnati to wear this Utah Valley side down with their interior post play and their ability to control the paint on both ends of the floor.

Some trends to note. Bearcats are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Bearcats are 21-8 ATS in their last 29 games overall. Bearcats are 25-51-3 ATS in their last 79 games following a straight up win.

Wednesday 7* CBB ATS Play

Wisconsin +5

The Badgers (19-14, 14 - 17 - 2 ATS) and Ducks (21-14, 17 - 17 - 1 ATS) meet in the NIT on Tuesday night. 

The Badgers have looked great through their first two games of the NIT, one of which included a late rally against Liberty last time out. Wisconsin has been able to find various different players to step up and they'll need that against Oregon.

Look for the Badgers to try and play this one at their tempo, taking Oregon out of their rhythm. If they can slow things down on them, it will certainly cause some issues for the Ducks on both sides of the ball.

Some trends to note. Badgers are 5-1-2 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Ducks are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a ATS win. Ducks are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 Tuesday games.

Tuesday 9* CBB ATS Play

Indiana State -5.5

Eastern Kentucky (21 - 13) and Indiana State (23-12) meet in the 2nd round of the CBI. 

Indiana State gets an extra day off, which will provide a nice edge for them. EKU played Sunday and had to not only come from behind, but also go into overtime with the Cleveland State Vikings. Fatigue will be a factor, especially with the quick turn around.

Indiana State also has a lot of weapons that will overwhelm this EKU side. They rank 31st in the nation in total points per game, sitting at 78.7. Look for the Sycamores to come out of the gates with a very attack mind set and wear down EKU.

Some trends to note. Sycamores are 35-15-2 ATS in their last 52 games following a straight up win.. Sycamores are 12-2 ATS in their last 14 games overall. Sycamores are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.

Monday 8* CBB ATS Play

Gonzaga -4.5

Round 2 NCAA tournament gambling time on Sunday. This one tips off at 9:40pmET. The #6 TCU Horned Frogs (22-12, 16-17-1 ATS) take on the #3 Gonzaga Bulldogs. (29-5, 13-19-1 ATS), in their first matchup since 1998. In their L10 games the Frogs are 5-5, while on the other side the Zags are 10-0. 

The winner of this one moves into the Sweet 16 in the 2023 edition of the March Madness tourney. This West Region matchup is mouth-watering. Last game out the Zags took down Grand Canyon with an 82-70 relatively easy victory. The Horned Frogs had a tougher matchup barely getting by ASU 72-70 on a last second shot by JaKobe Coles.

Do you honestly expect me to believe that TCU has an answer for Drew Timme? If so, I disagree, the man is a wrecking crew for opponents, playing like a kid possessed. Can one of the worst 3-point teams in the country keep pace with what the Zags will throw at them? I just don't see it.

Some trends to note, TCU are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games when playing as the underdog, 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games, and 0-6 ATS in their L6 following a straight up win. On the other side the Zags are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss, 16-1 SU in their last 17 games played in March, and finally are 15-5 SU in their last 20 games against an opponent in the Big 12 conference.

We've never seen TCU win two games in a row in the tourney, and it won't start Sunday. Play the Zags, as my projections have them winning this one by 9+.

Sunday 8* CBB ATS Play

Over 128

Round 2 NCAA tournament gambling time on Sunday in Albany NY. This one tips off at 6:10pmET. The #5 Saint Mary's Gaels (27-7, 18-13-2 ATS) take on the #4 UConn Huskies (26-8, 22-11-1 ATS). In their L10 games SM are 7-3 and averaging 70PPG, while on the other side the Huskies are 8-2 while averaging 77PPG.

The winner of this one moves into the Sweet 16 in the 2023 edition of the March Madness tourney. This East Region matchup is a nice looking matchup on paper, and I'm expecting offense. Last game out Iona had their win streak snapped by a really good UConn team that looks like it's rounding into form at just the right time. They won by 24 (87-63) The Gaels took down #12 VCU 63-51.

If you missed the Huskies last game you missed one of the most dominant games we've ever seen in this tournament. Adama Sanogo put up 28 points and backed that up with 13 boards. Together with Donovan Clingan UConn will own the glass Sunday.

Some trends to note, with the Gaels being 5-1 ATS in their last 6 neutral site games I can make a case for a game that stay's offensively minded and tight into the later stages of the second half. Also, the OVER is 6-2 in UConn's last 8 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points. The OVER has also hit in 6 of STM's L8 games in March, and 4 of UConn's L5 games against a West Coast conference opponent.

UConn is 1-0 all time vs. Saint Mary's. (2006) The line opened at 129.5 and it's going lower, so we'll zig when others zag and go OVER.

Sunday 6* CBB O/U Play

OK St -11

NIT tournament gambling time on Sunday on ESPN2. The Oklahoma State Cowboys (19-15, 16-17 ATS) take on the Eastern Washington Eagles. (23-10, 19-12-1 ATS) In their L10 games the Cowboys are 4-6, but they have won 3 of 4, while on the other side EWU is 7-3. My projections have the Cowboys winning this one by 15+.

Yes the Eagles took down a Pac 12 school (WSU), but Oklahoma State is a beast on another level. I don't expect EWU to have much of an answer for Smith, Thompson, or Williams. OK St. gets a home game in Stillwater, and with them being a top seed they do indeed have something to play for. It's a long way to go for this EWU team.

Some trends to note, OK State are 5-1 in their L6, and Sunday's haven't been kind to the Eagles of late, they're 1-4 in their L5. Also EWU is 0-10 SU in their L10 taking on teams from the B12.

Sunday 7* CBB ATS Play

Alabama -7.5

The Crimson Tide (30-5) have value here over Maryland (22-12) in the round of 32.

Alabama, the overall number 1 seed, had very little issues with Texas CC in the first round as this is the hottest team in the NCAA right now. They are doing just about everything right. From getting production on offensive from so many different players, to stepping up on the defensive end. 

They are just such a tough matchup for Maryland, who will struggle to keep pace here. Alabama can score so quickly and in a flurry. Look for them to put their foot on the gas early in this one, as Maryland is not built to come from behind.

Princeton +6.5

Princeton (22-8) meets Missouri (25-9) as they look to become this years Cinderella. 

Princeton came from nowhere as they knocked off Arizona in the 2nd half thanks to a stellar defensive performance. They allowed just 55 points against a team that averages over 80 a game. That is their M.O. as they win games on the defensive end. 

They actually matchup well with Missouri. Princeton has the length and height to control the paint and their ability to close out on shooters will have Missouri frustrated.

Some trends to note. Tigers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up win. Tigers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Tigers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.

Arkansas (21-13) meets with Kansas (28-7) Saturday in the Round of 32.

We're on the Razorbacks here with the points. Both teams had little issues in their opening game as this one figures to be extremely physical. 

The Jayhawks will take a few steps up in competition here against the Razorbacks, who shoot it as good as anyone in the nation. Arkansas ranks 33rd, shooting at 47.5% from the field. They can cause this Jayhawks side a lot of frustrations, especially with their ability to attack the rim.

Saturday 9* CBB ATS Play

UNDER 138

Saturday at 12:10pm ET in round of 32 NCAA tournament action we get #13 Furman (28-7, 19-13 ATS) taking on the #5 SDSU Aztecs (28-6, 16-15-2 ATS). Furman come into this matchup 9-1 in their L10 games, while the Aztecs are also 9-1 in their L10. The initial line was set at 136.5.

During round 1 of the 2023 NCAA tournament, Furman managed to pull off a remarkable upset by defeating #4 Virginia. With just 2 seconds left on the clock, Pegues hit a clutch 3-pointer to secure a 68-67 victory for the Paladins. In another game, San Diego State managed to hold on against #12 College of Charleston with a final score of 63-57.

Despite their win, it's worth noting that the Aztecs have been performing exceptionally well on the defensive end, currently ranking 28th in the nation in points per game at 63PPG. On the other hand, Furman's defense has not been as good, and they currently rank 211th in the country in PPG allowed at 71PPG. However I feel SDSU will control this game, and the pace of play, with how they play.

Some trends to consider, the Under is 5-0 in Aztecs last 5 games following a ATS win, is 8-0 in their last 8 games following a straight up win, is 5-0 in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600, and the UNDER is also 13-3 in the Aztecs last 16 overall, and 24-8 in their last 32 neutral site games dating back 5+ years.

Kent State +4.5

Kent State (28-6) meets Indiana (22-11) in a rematch from the 2002 Elite Eight. 

Kent State is perhaps one of the most talented mid majors as the champions of the MAC are poised to give the Hoosiers all they can handle. 

The Golden Flashes lean on Malique Jacobs and Sincere Carry, but the cast around them provide so many different weapons for this Kent side. Where they specialize though is on the defensive end. Kent State's Malique Jacobs was one of the tops in the nation in steals and they don't allow many easy looks. 

With Indiana limping into the tournament after falling to Penn State, the Golden Flashes can cause so many issues for Indiana. 

Some trends to note. Golden Flashes are 14-5-1 ATS in their last 20 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Golden Flashes are 19-7-1 ATS in their last 27 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record.

Montana State +8.5

Montana State (25-9) meets with Kansas State (23-9) in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. 

Kansas State dropped their last 2 games of the season, including a loss eliminating them from the Big 12 tournament to TCU. Kansas State isn't a team that really overwhelms anyone and they are the kind of team who can certainly be upset.

Montana State is a scrappy team and they will make things so difficult on the boards. They rarely allow opposing teams to get offensive rebounds, as they ranked in the top 30 in the entire nation in defensive rebounds.

Some trends to note. Wildcats are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 NCAA Tournament games. Bobcats are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Bobcats are 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record.

Florida Atlantic +2.5

Florida Atlantic (31-3) meets with Memphis (26-8) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

FAU is one of those teams nobody wanted to see here. They play with such confidence on both ends of the floor. The Owls rank near the top in almost every offensive category, as they put up nearly 80 points per game. Combine that with their stellar defense giving up just 65 points per game this is one of those teams who can beat anyone. 

Look for them to turn defense into offense, forcing turnovers out of this Memphis side.

VCU (27-7) meets with St. Mary's (26-7) in one of the anticipated matchups when it comes to 5/12 games. 

VCU is one of those teams who can make a deep run as a double digit seed. The Rams won the A-10 and this is a team that does the little things right. They are always crashing the glass, stepping up defensively, and they simply never panic. 

St. Mary's had a great year but just got absolutely obliterated in the WCC Championship Game. It showed off a lot of flaws and this Rams side should be able to expose those.

UC- Santa Barbara +11.5

UC-Santa Barbara (27-7) meets with Baylor (22-10) in the first round on Friday afternoon.

Baylor limps in, losing 4 of their last 6 as they tapered off toward the end of the season. Their issues stemmed on both ends of the floor and UC-Santa Barbara is going to push the tempo on the Bears.

The Gauchos rank 7th in the nation, shooting 49.5% from the field. This team is extremely dangerous as they can catch fire very quickly.

Penn State +3

Penn State (22-13) battles Texas A&M (25-9) in what figures to be one of the best first round matchups of the tournament. 

Penn State nearly stole the Big Ten Championship as a 10 seed, turning the ball over with under a second to play as they went for a game winning shot. Penn State has been sneaky all season long as this team can really make things difficult for opponents. 

Their ability to attack the rim and create space for shooters is one of the best things they do. A&M struggles with teams like this and the Nittany Lions can cause plenty of problems right from the start.

Some trends to note. Nittany Lions are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 games following a straight up loss. Nittany Lions are 8-3-2 ATS in the fourth game of a 4-in-7 days situation.

Tennessee -10

Tennessee (23-10) battles with UL- Lafayette (26-7). 

The Volunteers matchup very well in this spot. They are one of the best defensive teams in the entire nation. Coming into play, they rank 4th in the country in total points against and sit at the top in FG% against and 3PFG% against. 

Lafayette is going to be overwhelmed in this one. 

Look for Tennessee to provide a ton of pressure early in this one and really frustrate this Ragin Cajuns side.

OVER 122

Northern Kentucky (19-12) meets the number 1 seeded Houston Cougars (29-2) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. 

This total opens up very low all things considered. The Cougars should have no issues doing whatever they want here against the Norse. Houston is bigger, more physical, and quicker. Look for them to attack the rim early in this to set the tone. Houston averaged 76 points per game and that number should go up against this Horizon League opponent. 

From Northern Kentucky's perspective, they know they'll need to get creative to stay in this one. Knowing that, it'll take them getting quick and easy buckets and even pushing the ball in transition.

Northwestern -1.5

Boise State (24-9) meets with Northwestern (21-11) and it's the Wildcats who have the value.

Boise State is 0-8 in the NCAA Tournament. No matter what that will always creep into the minds of the players. 

Northwestern is the exact kind of team who matches up well with this Boise side. The Wildcats play very slow and they are one of the top defensive teams. They are in each shooters face and they aren't going to give you many 2nd chances on the glass. The Wildcats lean on Boo Buie, who will have the ability to take over this game

Iowa (19-12) meets with Auburn (20-11) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. 

Iowa is one of those teams that can cause a little bit of havoc. They had an up and down season, but this team is talented and deep. 

The Hawkeyes ranked 20th in the entire nation, putting up over 80 points per game. Iowa isn't shy about pushing the tempo and hoisting up 3 point shots. They have the capabilities of scoring quickly too. We've seen it many times where they can catch fire and extend a lead very quickly. 

Auburn ranked near the bottom in shooting percentage all season long and an early deficit will put a lot of doubt into them.

Utah State -115

Utah State (26-8) meets with Missouri (24-9) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. 

The Aggies have everything you want in a team. They shoot the ball just as well as anyone, they can hit the 3 ball and shoot free throws, and provide a lot of pressure on the defensive end. 

Missouri is a great matchup for them too. Missouri hasn't won an NCAA Tournament game since way back in 2010 and this team isn't very deep. The depth of the Aggies adds a lot to their already nice edge here.

Virginia (23-6) gets pinned with a difficult first round matchup with Furman (24-7). 

Furman is going to make this game play to a quick pace. The champions out of the Southern Conference put up 80+ point performances in their final 2 conference tourney games and they will look speed up Virginia. 

The Cavaliers actually saw some high point totals down the stretch of their season and they will have the weapons to score on this Furman defense. Furman allowed over 70 points this season and this will be much tougher competition from what they're used to.

West Virginia (19-14) meets with Maryland (21-12) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. This game will tip things off on Thursday afternoon. 

Maryland has value with the points here.

The Terps have the physicality to match the Mountaineers. Maryland ranks 27th in the entire nation in total defense and that will be the difference here. Look for them to turn defense into offense and steal some easy transition buckets.

Oregon (19-14) clashes with Cal-Irvine (23-11) in the first round of the NIT. 

This matchup favors the Ducks in every which way. 

Cal-Irvine just does not have the firepower to keep up in this matchup. They average just 75.1 points per game in a conference that doesn't have much defense. That number will go down even more though with them having to deal with this Oregon size. The Ducks will control the paint on both ends of the floor here, overwhelming Irvine.

Wednesday 9* CBB ATS Play

Utah Valley vs. New Mexico Under 

Utah Valley (25-8) and New Mexico (22-11) battle in the NIT on Wednesday night.

The regular season winners out of the Western Athletic Conference are disappointed to be here. They dominated the regular season, only to be upset in the 2nd round of their conference tournament. They're going to get a look at New Mexico in a game where they have to slow things down. Utah Valley won't out score New Mexico in a track meet. Slowing the game down and working the clock is going to be the key here for the underdogs.

New Mexico should be able to stop this Wolverines side as well. They have more length and speed on the defensive end, adding value to this under.

We're on the Over here as these two teams have the ability to attack. 

Both sides average in to the 70+ point range per game this season and we should see some tempo here from both ways. This is the kind of game where if one team picks up the pace, the other will follow suit.

This is a case where FDU is out to prove themselves. They fell in the title game to Merrimack, but since Merrimack isn't eligible for the NCAA Tournament, FDU gets in by default. A lot of backlash was made about this. 

FDU is going to come out with a lot of passion and fire in this game. They are a solid offensive side, averaging 78.3 points per game. Texas Southern was a solid story, running through their conference tournament as huge underdogs, but they still have a lot of flaws, especially on the defensive side.

Pittsburgh (21-10) and Mississippi State (20-11) battle in the first play in game on Tuesday night. 

The Panthers showed some bright spots throughout their season as they were able to find success on the offensive end. Pittsburgh put up 76 points per game and held the opposition to under 70 points per contest. 

This is a team that finds their success from dictating the pace. Mississippi State loves to play slower and the Panthers can speed things up a bit on them. The Bulldogs are one of the worst offensive teams in the nation and if they fall behind early, things will be extremely tough on them.

Toledo +7

The Rockets (27-7) meet with Michigan (17-15) in the first round of the NIT. 

Motivation is always key here. While the Rockets fell in the MAC Championship game, they still will be thrilled to participate in the NIT and get a chance to take down a Big 10 school. Toledo has one of the best offenses you'll see. They shoot the 3 as good as anyone and their ability to win the battle inside is top notch. 

Michigan meanwhile missed out on the NCAA Tournament and it's tough to see them get up for this game. The Wolverines struggled with Ohio out of the MAC earlier this year and Toledo has all the makings to give this side issues.

Tonight at 7pm ET in ACC tournament Quarter Final gambling action we get the UNC Tar Heels (20-12, 11-30-1 ATS) taking on the #13 University of Virginia Cavaliers (23-6, 10-17-2 ATS). In their L10 games Virginia is 7-3, while the Tar Heels are 5-5. 

Additionally, the Cavaliers have been averaging 63.5PPG over their L10 games, while their opponents have been averaging 61.2PPG. On the other hand, UNC has been averaging 72.7PPG, with opponents averaging 69.4PPG, over their L10 games.

On January 10th, the Cavaliers won against the Tar Heels 65-58 in Charlottesville. However, in the rematch on February 25th in Chapel Hill, the Tar Heels emerged victorious with a score of 71-63. It's no shock these two teams meet once again in the title game, but this year it is much closer than usual. These two teams split the regular season and the Gaels actually finished atop the standings as the 1 seed.

Still, Gonzaga is much better all around and they have the ability to control the paint which is key. Look for the Zags to play through Timme, who has been absolutely dominant as of late. If he gets going early, the Gaels will have to start double teaming him, opening up a lot of shooting lanes.

TCU had Texas on the ropes earlier this season, but blew a huge lead only to fall at the end. They have the weapons to compete with this Texas side and with home court, they are worthy of a nice move.

Nebraska has been a struggle this season, but they are in the midst of a 3 game winning streak which is super rare for them. However, it benefits us as we get MSU at a lower number.

The Spartans throttled Nebraska already once this season by 18 and they are in a nice bounce back spot. They fell in OT to Iowa and are now in need of a win to solidify their resume. Look for them to put an emphasis on controlling the paint on both ends of the floor.

Boise State -1

We're on the Broncos (22-7, 14-12-2 ATS) on tuesday night. 

San Diego State (23-5, 12-13-2 ATS) and Boise State clash in a huge MWC game that has huge implications for seeding in the conference tournament. 

The Broncos are 13-1 at home and have really been a force inside this building. With a huge crowd expected to be on hand, it's going to add to the value with this Boise side. Look for the Broncos to lean on their defense, which is one of the best in the entire conference. They turn offense into defense better than anyone and will put an emphasis on that.

The Falcons (10-19, 11-16-0 ATS) are worth a move. 

Bowling Green has played much better basketball at home versus on the road this year. EMU (8-21, 13-15-0 ATS) have been atrocious on many levels here in the 2022-2023 season. 

They rank near the bottom in many defensive categories, not just in the MAC but in the entire nation. Combine that with their struggles on the offensive end and they are ready for the offseason to hit.

The Cyclones welcome in the Mountaineers (16-13, 14-15-0 ATS) who had to deal with Kansas on Saturday. West Virginia went right to the wire with the Jayhawks, only to get called for a travel on the final possession. 

Iowa State needs this win for many reasons, but with the quick turnaround after West Virginia's tough game Saturday, they are in a good spot at home. The Cyclones have played well inside this arena and should be able to dictate a lot here.

These two teams come in off hard fought weekend games and the quick turn around is going to be a tough factor. Fatigue will play a role and also these two sides are extremely physical. Look for this to be a grind it out kind of game where both teams will work the ball around and chew a lot of the clock on each possession.

Illinois has the value of laying the points.  It’s time to start fading Ohio state. The buckeyes have been an absolute mess as of late and they continue to struggle against even mediocre teams at this point. The buckeyes have been losing in every way and getting dominated left and right.

Illinois is much more physical and is playing with far more confidence right now. Ohio State lacks many things on both ends of the floor in Illinois is simply not the team if you want to deal with right now. Look for them to impose their will early and control. Everything from start to finish.

They had the game won in St. Mary's a few weeks back, only to falter late. Gonzaga has been the class of the WCC for a while now, but the Gaels are starting to really even things up. This is a chance for Gonzaga to restore order. 

We've also seen the home team and favorite dominate this series. Coming into Saturday, the home team is 6-0-2 ATS in the last 8 games and the favorite has gone 3-1-2 ATS. Look for Gonzaga to push the tempo on St. Mary's and get them out of their rhythm.

Ohio State has been one of the most disappointing teams not just in the Big 10, but in the entire nation. They have struggled (1-9 L10) and will likely be sitting March Madness out unless they put together a huge run right now. 

It can start here against Penn State, who is just 2-7 in their on the road and 4-6 in their L10. The Nittany Lions (16-11, 14-11-2 ATS) have covered in just 1 of their last 5 road contests as well. The Buckeyes can expose the middle of the floor on each end of the floor where they should be able to control the paint. Penn State has issues with teams built like Ohio State and this one should be no different.

Navy vs. American Over

We get a lower total here in a game where we could actually see a little pace. 

Navy (16-11, 14-12 ATS) isn't shy about turning the tempo up and they know they can force American (15-12, 12-15 ATS) into a much quicker game. 

Navy puts up over 70 points per game while American isn't far behind at 66. With this total being in the mid 120's, if both teams can score what they are used to, we should be in for a game that sees this total go over.

Look for Navy to set the tone early in this one and for American to respond to the tempo.

We're grabbing the points here on Monday night in the Louisville Cardinals (4-23, 11-16 ATS) vs. Duke Blue Devils (19-8, 10-17 ATS) matchup.

Over the last three games, the Cardinals have displayed a remarkable improvement, and they have successfully covered the spread in five out of their last six games, including a straight up WIN last game out versus fourth place Clemson. Plus, El Ellis has been scoring an average of 27.3 points per game over the last 3. Duke aims to secure their third consecutive victory and recently claimed a 77-55 triumph over Syracuse on the road last Saturday. They are undefeated at home.

The Horizon League is wide open this season and Cleveland State has been the surprise team. They sit tied for second with NKU as these teams battle it out on Sunday in Cleveland.

The Vikings are a solid 11-3 at home and have played exceptionally well. They dominated Wright State on Friday night and will look to cap off their home regular season portion with another huge win. 

The Vikings have so many different playmakers stepping up as they're beating teams with their inside and outside game. Combine that with their high pressured defense and they are a tough team to crack.

Valparaiso has been scoring an average of 68.3 points per game, but their defensive efforts have been lackluster as they are allowing an average of 73.7 points per game. Valparaiso is 5-9 ATS on the road. Valparaiso are 1-4 SU in their last 5 games, are 2-11 SU in their last 13 games on the road, and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games played on a Sunday.

UIC are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games played on a Sunday, and they have been scoring an average of 66.3 points per game, but their defense has also been struggling, giving up an average of 72.3 points per game. Despite their defensive struggles, UIC has performed relatively well at home, preventing their opponents from scoring more than 70 points per game.

NC State -2

The UNC Tar Heels (16-10, 8-18 ATS) take on the NC State Wolfpack (20-7, 12-13-2 ATS) today at 1pm ET at the PNC Arena. The Tar Heels come into this one 2-6 on the road. The Wolfpack are 13-1 at home straight up. 

On Jan 21, the first game between these two teams ended in a 80-69 victory for UNC in Chapel Hill. North Carolina, has been struggling with a 30.6 percent success rate in 3-point shooting, placing them last in the ACC.

NC State, with a record of 20-7 and 10-6, is about to embark on a three-game stretch at home. The Wolfpack's recent performance has been a mixed bag since entering the national rankings. They've won against BC but lost to #8 Virginia and Syracuse.

That will certainly cause this Gaels team a lot of issues, as they have had their hands full with teams who love. to attack the rim. Look for this game to turn into a grind, with BYU keeping it close throughout.

This is the equivalent of a crap sandwich, but for betting purposes it's great. There is a ton of value in betting on the Gamecocks, and that's what we're doing on Saturday. LSU is 1-12 in the SEC, have lost 13 consecutive games after a 2-pt loss to Georgia on Tuesday. December 28th is the last time LSU won a game.

The Gamecocks also defeated LSU 77-75 in February 2022. Recent statistics suggest that the Gamecocks could make this game more competitive than expected.

Some trends to note, Gamecocks are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games, 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a winning home record, 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. The Tigers are 2-9-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall, and 0-7 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400.

Overall, LSU is still the stronger team (barely) and should win this game at home. However, the Gamecocks' recent ATS success on the road and their ability to keep games close suggest that they will cover.

Indiana has the value here laying the points.

This is a prime bounce back spot. Indiana played abysmal in Northwestern earlier this week and yet found themselves tied with just seconds to go before allowing the go ahead bucket.

Now, they return home where they are nearly unbeatable. Indiana is 13-1 inside this building and they have beaten some top teams here. Look for them to get off to a fast start here, especially after burying themselves in Northwestern.

Siena -2

9pm ET tipoff. Quinnipiac (17-9, 12-12-1 ATS) vs. Siena (17-9, 15-10-1 ATS) in Metro Atlantic Athletic conference action on Friday night. This line opened at -3.5 in some locations, so we're getting better value now at -2 on Siena. Plus the favorite in this matchup is 11-5 ATS in their last 16 head to head.

The Bobcats come into this one losers of three straight, and have they've lost the last 5 of 6 versus Siena, and Siena has won 8 of their last 11 at home. McCollum and Eley are back from injury, and last game out the two contributed in a big way as the Saints took down Marist. In their last matchup versus the Bobcats on Dec. 30th, Quinnipiac won 83-76.

Cleveland State -1.5

We're on the Vikings here, laying the small number. 

Cleveland State (16-11, 13-12 ATS) continues to surprise everyone in the Horizon League. After losing their head coach and essentially their entire roster, they've built a solid season and are now poised to battle for one of the top spots in the Horizon League.

They took down Wright State (16-11, 15-10 ATS) on the road earlier this year and come in off a huge win over Youngstown State. They sit 10-3 inside the Wolstein Center and they've covered their last 5 games when playing a team with a winning record.

It's been someone new almost every night for them that steps up and look for that to continue today. This team is built with both a solid inside and out presence and they match up well with this Wright State side.

Loyola Marymount +8.5

We're on Loyola Marymount here with the points.

This team has been undervalued a bit here out in the WCC. They have gone 11-2 at home this season and have played some of the upper competition very tough. 

Gonzaga meanwhile does continue to find ways to win, but it hasn't been pretty.  They have played many games close and failed to cover some big spreads. This is going to be the kind of game where Loyola can feed off a big crowd in a small arena. It'll be loud and they'll be able to keep things close.
