10-26-19 | Kings +120 v. Wild | 1-5 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 11 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Kings +120 Two teams sitting at the bottom of their respective divisions will be hoping to get out of the basement with a win this evening as the Kings (4-6-0, 8 points) take on the Wild (3-7-0, 6 points) in Minnesota. Los Angeles lost a 5-2 contest against the Blues in their last game, but won both their previous games against the Flames and Jets. As a team, the Kings have looked less than solid on defense. On average, the Kings are scoring 2.90 goals per game (18th) while allowing 3.90 goals per game (last in the NHL). Anze Kopitar continues to lead this Kings team from the center position. With a team-high four goals and seven assists, Kopitar leads L.A. with 11 points. The Wild have followed a similar pattern to that of Los Angeles recently. After two wins over Montreal and Edmonton, Minnesota fell to Nashville 4-0 in their last contest. The Wild are struggling on both ends of the ice. On average, the Wild are scoring 2.10 goals per game (29th) while allowing 3.60 goals per game (tied for 27th). A mediocre Minnesota offense has been led by defenseman Brad Hunt, who’s scored a team-high four goals, two of which came on the power play, on his way to racking up a team-high six points.
10-26-19 | Notre Dame v. Michigan UNDER 52 | 14-45 | Loss | -110 | 34 h 20 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Notre Dame/Michigan under52 -110 Saturday’s premier matchup figures to be the #8 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (5-1) going into the Big House to take on the #19 Michigan Wolverines (5-2). The over/under is set at 52 points. Since Notre Dame’s loss to #3 Georgia, the Irish have ripped off three straight victories. Most recently, Notre Dame took down USC by a score of 30-27. On average, the Fighting Irish are scoring 39 points per game on 450 yards of offense, but they’ve only hit that point total once in the past four games. Defensively, Notre Dame is allowing just 17 points per game on 346 yards. Completing 63.2% of his passes, Ian Book has been very good for the Fighting Irish at quarterback. On the season, Book has thrown for 1,419 yards while tossing 14 touchdowns and two interceptions. Averaging seven yards per carry, running back Tony Jones Jr. has rushed for 557 yards and four TDs. Michigan has five wins in seven games, but they’ve failed to beat the toughest competition on the schedule. Before last week’s 28-21 loss to #7 Penn State, the Wolverines lost to #13 Wisconsin by a score of 35-14. On average, the Wolverines are scoring 29 points per game on 391 yards of offense while allowing 19 points on 283 yards. At quarterback, Shea Patterson leads the Michigan offense. Through seven games, Patterson has thrown for 1,522 yards, nine touchdowns, and four picks.
10-26-19 | Celtics v. Knicks OVER 212.5 | 118-95 | Win | 100 | 13 h 32 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Celtics/Knicks over212½ -110 With both teams playing the second game of a back-to-back this evening, the Knicks (0-2) are looking for their first win against the Celtics (1-1) in New York. The over/under is set at 212.5 points. Boston followed up an opening night loss to the 76ers with a 112-106 win over the Raptors yesterday. The performance on the offensive end of the floor was a big step up from the Philly game, in which they managed just 93 points. Against Toronto, the Celtics had three scorers over 20 points. While Kemba Walker scored 22, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown led the way with 25 points, nine rebounds, and four assists each. Tatum led the way from the three-point line, making four of his seven attempts. The Knicks will play their first home game of the season after losing on the road against San Antonio and Brooklyn. New York was competitive in both contests, scoring at least 109 points in each. Against the Nets, six Knicks were in double digits. Allonzo Trier led all New York players with 22 points from the bench. Knicks fans will be excited to see RJ Barrett lead the starters with 16 points in addition to his three rebounds, three assists, and six steals.
10-26-19 | Missouri v. Kentucky UNDER 45 | 7-29 | Win | 100 | 34 h 47 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Missouri/Kentucky under45 -110 The Missouri Tigers (5-2) threw away what’s been a great season with a 21-14 loss at the hands of Vanderbilt last week. Saturday night, Missouri will try to get back on track on the road against the Kentucky Wildcats (3-4). The over/under is set at 45 points. Although the Tigers have won five of their seven games, all five have come at home while their two losses have been on the road. Missouri’s 14-point dud against Vanderbilt showed a weak spot in an otherwise daunting passing attack. On average, the Tigers are scoring 35 points per game on 448 yards of offense while allowing 17 points on 270 yards. In addition to a strong defense, Missouri is led by a quarterback in Kelly Bryant who’s thrown for 1,715 yards, 13 touchdowns, and five interceptions. However, Bryant is coming off his worst game of the season in which he threw for just 140 yards. Kentucky is coming off a loss, but they held #10 Georgia to just 21 points of offense in that contest. Before the Georgia game, the Wildcats won a 24-20 game over Arkansas. On average, the Wildcats are scoring 20 points per game on 354 yards of offense while allowing 23 points per game on 364 yards. Kentucky hasn’t been very explosive on offense throughout the season. The team’s leading receiver, Lynn Bowden Jr., has only 348 yards and one touchdown.
10-26-19 | Arkansas v. Alabama UNDER 56.5 | 7-48 | Win | 100 | 34 h 40 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Arkansas/Alabama under56½ -110 It hardly seems fair that the Arkansas Razorbacks (2-5) have to go into Tuscaloosa to take on the #1 Alabama Crimson Tide (7-0), yet these two squads will go head to head Saturday. The over/under is set at 56.5 points. The Razorbacks are entering this contest on the back of a four-game losing streak, including a 31-24 loss to San Jose State. Most recently, Arkansas managed just 10 points against #11 Auburn. On average, the Razorbacks are scoring 25 points per game on 385 yards of offense while allowing 31 points on 412 yards. Ben Hicks has been at the helm for this Arkansas offense over the past three game and has struggled to get the offense rolling. Completing just 50.4% of his passes, the Razorbacks quarterback has thrown for 692 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Alabama has yet to play some of their toughest opponents of the season, but they’ve beaten everyone that’s lined up in front of them. Most recently, the Crimson Tide defeated Tennessee 35-13. On average, the Crimson Tide are scoring 49 points per game on 513 yards of offense while allowing 16 points per game on 321 yards. The Alabama offense will get the opportunity to prove themselves as a unit rather than a quarterback-dependent team with starter Tua Tagovailoa out injured. Sophomore Mac Jones will start at quarterback in his place. Although Alabama is still a big favorite to win this contest, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Crimson Tide offense take a step back.
10-26-19 | Heat v. Bucks UNDER 225.5 | Top | 131-126 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 2 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Heat/Bucks under225½ -110 Either the Heat (1-0) or the Bucks (1-0) will suffer their first loss early in the 2019-20 season when they face off against one another in a late afternoon game in Milwaukee. The over/under is set at 225.5 points. Without Jimmy Butler, who Miami brought over the Philadelphia in the offseason, the Heat posted a 120-101 victory over the Grizzlies in the season opener. Justice Winslow was able to take that game over, scoring 27 points and adding seven rebounds and seven assists on his way to a +22 plus/minus in 37 minutes on the floor. Kendrick Nunn was close behind Winslow with 24 points of his own. As a team, Miami took just 18 three-pointers and made only seven. The Heat will be going into Milwaukee without Butler, Dion Waiters, and James Johnson. The Bucks didn’t have the most explosive offensive performance against Houston in their season opener, but they did enough to win by a score of 117-111. Beyond Giannis Antetokounmpo, who dominated the game with 30 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists, the Bucks didn’t offer much in the way of scoring. No other player on the Milwaukee roster had more than 14 points in the contest.
10-26-19 | Hawaii v. New Mexico +10 | 45-31 | Loss | -110 | 30 h 3 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on New Mexico +10 -110 With Saturday’s game versus the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors (4-3), the New Mexico Lobos (2-5) will try to begin digging themselves out of the basement of the Mountain West Conference. Hawaii’s strong first half of the season came to a grinding halt with two straight losses to #14 Boise State and Air Force. In both games, the Rainbow Warriors gave up at least 56 points. On average, the Rainbow Warriors are scoring 35 points per game on 475 yards of offense while allowing 36 points per game on 428 yards. A dynamic Hawaii passing attack is led by quarterback Cole McDonald, who’s thrown for 2,284 yards with 23 touchdowns and 10 picks. The rushing attack is far inferior, with running back Miles Reed leading the team with just 273 yards and three touchdowns on the season. New Mexico has lost four straight since the end of September while scoring 10 points in two of the contests and 21 points in the other two. On average, the Lobos are scoring 24 points per game on 417 yards of offense while allowing 37 points per game on 494 yards. The New Mexico offense features a pair of solid running backs. Averaging 5.1 yards per carry, Ahmari Davis leads the team with 543 yards and four touchdowns. Averaging 6.3 yards per carry, Bryson Carroll has added another 444 yards and two touchdowns.
10-26-19 | Ohio v. Ball State UNDER 62 | Top | 34-21 | Win | 100 | 29 h 60 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Ohio/Ball State under62 -110 A Mid-American Conference showdown pits the Ohio Bobcats (3-4) against the Ball State Cardinals (4-3). The over/under for this matchup is 62 points. Ohio has won two of its last three games, the most impressive of which was a 21-20 overtime victory against Buffalo. Rourke also happens to lead the team in rushing with 409 yards and six touchdowns. Shane Hooks is Ohio’s most explosive receiver. Averaging 20.7 yards per reception, Hooks has caught 17 balls for 352 yards and three TDs. Ball State has finally earned some momentum with three straight wins over Northern Illinois, Eastern Michigan, and Toledo. In each victory, the Cardinals held their opponents to a maximum of 23 points. On average, Ball State is scoring 35 points per game on 454 yards of offense while allowing 28 points per game on 391 yards. Quarterback Drew Plitt has thrown for 1,868 yards with 16 touchdowns and six interceptions. Meanwhile, running back Caleb Huntley leads the offense with 711 yards and five touchdowns.
10-26-19 | Miami-FL v. Pittsburgh UNDER 44 | 16-12 | Win | 100 | 27 h 48 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Miami-FL/Pittsburgh under44 -110 It’s been a rough first year for head coach Manny Diaz, who recently said his Miami Hurricanes (3-4) team is in a rebuild. Saturday, Miami will be on the road to take on the Pitt Panthers (5-2). The over/under is set at 44 points. Miami recently followed up a strong win over #20 Virginia with a 28-21 overtime loss to Georgia Tech. Offense has been the issue for the Hurricanes, who haven’t scored more than 21 in three of their last four games. On average, the Hurricanes are scoring 28 points on 409 yards of offense while allowing 20 points on 298 yards. N’Kosi Perry has been relatively good at quarterback since taking over. Completing 59.8% of his passes, Perry has thrown for 871 yards with eight touchdowns and one pick so far. Pittsburgh finds itself on a four-game winning streak that started with a win over #15 UCF. The Panthers have allowed 20 points or fewer in two of their last three games. On average, the Pitt Panthers are scoring 22 points per game on 390 yards of offense while allowing 22 points per game on 302 yards. Without a terribly productive rushing attack, quarterback Kenny Pickett leads the offense with 1,602 yards, eight touchdowns, and four picks.
10-26-19 | Illinois v. Purdue UNDER 58.5 | 24-6 | Win | 100 | 27 h 42 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Illinois/Purdue under58½ -110 In a Big Ten matchup, the Purdue Boilermakers (2-5) will try to pull level with the Illinois Fighting Illini (3-4) on Saturday afternoon. The over/under is set at 58.5 points. It’s largely been a season to forget for Illinois, but last week marked a milestone victory for Lovie Smith’s squad as they upset #6 Wisconsin by a single point at home. Despite that big win, the Fighting Illini haven’t scored more than 25 in any of their past three contests. On average, the Fighting Illini are scoring 30 points per game on 334 yards while allowing 30 points per game on 432 yards. Quarterback Brandon Peters, who threw for 174 yards against Wisconsin, has completed just 56.1% of his passes for 971 yards with 12 touchdowns and four interceptions on the season. A poor Purdue team most recently fell to #23 Iowa by a score of 26-20. On average, the Boilermakers are scoring 26 points per game on 384 yards of offense while allowing 29 points per game on 432 yards. The running game has been virtually non-existent for Purdue. Running back King Doerue leads the team with just 252 yards and three touchdowns.
10-26-19 | Liberty v. Rutgers UNDER 45 | 34-44 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 51 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Liberty/Rutgers under45 -110 A glance at the standings of independent college football teams shows the Liberty Flames (5-2) ahead of Notre Dame. Saturday, the Flames will go on the road to take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (1-6). The over/under is set at 45 points. After dropping their first two games of the season, Liberty has won five straight against the likes of Buffalo and New Mexico State. On average, the Flames are scoring 30 points per game on 408 yards of offense while allowing 24 points per game on 438 yards. At quarterback, Stephen Calvert leads the Liberty attack with 1,920 yards, 15 touchdowns, and three interceptions. Antonio Gandy-Golden has been on the receiving end of 43 of Calvert’s passes, racking up 877 yards and five TDs. Rutgers is at the bottom of the Big Ten barrel and has been absolutely dreadful on offense. In their past four games, all of which have been losses, the Scarlet Knights have scored a combined 14 points. Rutgers was shut out in two of those games. On average, the Scarlet Knights are scoring 11 points per game on 255 yards of offense while allowing 37 points per game on 449 yards. A bad Rutgers offense is led by Isaih Pacheco, who’s rushed for 434 yards and four touchdowns in seven games.
10-25-19 | Capitals v. Canucks -105 | Top | 6-5 | Loss | -105 | 15 h 5 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Canucks -105 The Capitals (7-2-3, 17 points) are set to face off with the Canucks (6-3-0, 12 points) in Vancouver in Washington’s fourth-straight road game and second game in as many nights. With seven wins on the season, the Capitals sit atop the Metropolitan Division without a team within less than four points. However, Washington is coming off an overtime loss to Edmonton in which they blew a 3-1 third-period lead. On average, the Capitals are scoring 3.67 goals per game (3rd) while allowing 3.17 goals per game (18th). The duo of Alex Ovechkin and defenseman John Carlson has been overwhelming for Washington this season. While Ovechkin leads the team with nine goals, Carlson has a team-high 16 assists and 21 points through the Capitals’ first 12 games. The Canucks are coming off a few days of rest after back-to-back wins over the Islanders and Red Wings. On average, Vancouver is scoring 3.11 goals per game (14th) while allowing 2.11 goals per game (tied for 1st). Center Bo Horvat leads Vancouver with five goals, three of which came via the power play. With four goals and six assists, center J.T. Miller leads the team with 10 points.
10-25-19 | Blazers -2.5 v. Kings | Top | 122-112 | Win | 100 | 15 h 5 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Blazers -2½ -109 Two teams looking for their first when will face off this evening when the Trail Blazers (0-1) take on the Kings (0-1) in Sacramento. Portland is coming off a relatively close home loss to a good Nuggets team. The Blazers didn’t shoot well, making just 41.4% of their shots from the field, but they showed their scrappiness with nine steals in the game. Damian Lillard led all scorers in the game with 32 points, including three three-pointers. Lillard also added eight assists and four rebounds. Hassan Whiteside put in an efficient shift for Portland, snagging 19 rebounds and scoring 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field. Sacramento had a tougher time in their season opener against the Suns. By shooting a dismal 39.1% from the field, the Kings were blown out by a score of 124-95. By shooting 50% from the three-point line and putting up a high volume of shots from the field, guard Buddy Hield scored 28 points in addition to his five rebounds and two assists. With 14 points, Marvin Bagley III was the next-highest scorer for Sacramento. By bringing down 10 rebounds, Bagley III earned a double-double.
10-25-19 | USC v. Colorado OVER 63 | Top | 35-31 | Win | 100 | 33 h 17 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on USC/Colorado over63 -109 Both having played seven games, the USC Trojans (4-3) and Colorado Buffaloes (3-4) have mirrored records, including in Pac-12 play, where USC has a 3-1 record. When they play under the lights on Friday night in Colorado, the over/under will be set at 63 points. USC recently faced its toughest stretch of the season when they faced #10 Utah, #17 Washington, and #9 Notre Dame in three straight games. Although the Trojans only managed one win in that period, they followed it up with last week’s 41-14 domination of Arizona. On average, the Trojans are scoring 31 points per game on 431 yards of offense while allowing 24 points per game on 416 yards. Kedon Slovis, who’s back under center for USC, has thrown for 1,219 yards, nine touchdowns, and four interceptions this year. His two biggest weapons are Michael Pittman Jr., who’s caught 43 balls for 599 yards and five touchdowns, and Tyler Vaughns, who’s reeled in 42 passes for 534 yards and four touchdowns. The Buffaloes are coming off three straight losses, one of which was a 45-3 pounding by #13 Oregon. On average, Colorado is scoring 27 points per game on 407 yards of offense while allowing 35 points per game on 482 yards. USC will be chomping at the bit to face a Colorado defense that’s allowed at least 31 points in every game this season.
10-25-19 | Astros -135 v. Nationals | Top | 4-1 | Win | 100 | 13 h 58 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Astros -135 With an 0-2 series deficit and their backs against the wall, the Astros (107-55) are in desperate need of a win this evening against the Nationals (93-69) in Washington D.C. After taking surprising losses in the first two contests despite sending out Gerrit Cole and Justin Verlander, Houston needs Zack Greinke (18-5, 2.93 ERA) now more than ever. When Greinke starts tonight, the Astros right-hander will get to show off his batting prowess. With three home runs and eight extra-base hits, Greinke led all pitchers from the plate this year. Focusing on his arm, Greinke has been far from unhittable this postseason. In three starts, Greinke is 0-2 with a 6.43 ERA despite two solid performances his last two times out. Right-hander Anibal Sanchez (11-8, 3.85 ERA) will start on the mound for the Nationals. In two October starts this year, Sanchez has posted an ERA of 0.71. Sanchez last appeared in the World Series in 2012, when he threw seven innings of two-run ball. The Astros will be hoping for a good performance from Jose Altuve, who leads the team with 19 hits, a 3.58 average, and five home runs in addition to his eight RBIs in the postseason.
10-25-19 | Bulls -1 v. Grizzlies | 110-102 | Win | 100 | 12 h 17 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Bulls -1 -109 Both the Bulls (0-1) and Grizzlies (0-1) will aim to avoid an 0-2 start when they take on one another this evening in Memphis. These two teams opened up the 2019-20 season Wednesday night on the road, and while they both lost, Chicago fell by only a single point. By a score of 126-125, Charlotte bested the Bulls while the Grizzlies lost in Miami by a score of 120-101. Although the outcomes were the same, the Bulls managed to display a better a shooting performance in their matchup. With a 46.7% field goal percentage, Chicago outshot a Memphis team that made just 42.7% of their shots from the field. For the Bulls, Lauri Markkanen was a beast from everywhere on the floor aside from the three-point line, where he was 1-of-7. In 34 minutes, the Chicago big man scored 35 points and pulled down 17 rebounds, five of which came on the offensive end. Both Thaddeus Young and Coby White added 17 points each from the bench, which was more than any starter not named Markkanen. Even without Jimmy Butler in uniform, the Heat cruised to victory over the Griz on Justice Winslow’s 27-point performance. Memphis didn’t have a single player get to the 20-point mark, but Ja Morant started his NBA campaign with 14 points and five rebounds.
10-25-19 | Coyotes +115 v. Devils | 5-3 | Win | 115 | 9 h 22 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Coyotes +115 With a defense-first approach, the Coyotes (5-3-1, 11 points) have a roster that can do some damage in the Pacific Division. Tonight, Arizona will face off with the Devils (2-4-2, 6 points) in New Jersey. A run of four straight wins was broken last night when the Coyotes fell to the Islanders by a score of 4-2. That was the most goals Arizona has allowed all season after allowing three goals just once, the last of which came in overtime. On average, the Coyotes are scoring 2.89 goals per game (tied for 18th) while allowing 2.11 goals per game (tied for 1st). Center Nick Schmaltz leads the Coyotes with nine points on three goals and six assists. Goaltender Darcy Kuemper has been good in goal, allowing 1.87 goals per game with a .934 save percentage. The Devils haven’t played in nearly a week, when they won their second-straight game despite managing only a single goal. New Jersey is currently last in the Metropolitan Division. On average, the Devils are scoring 2.38 goals per game (27th) while allowing 3.63 goals per game (29th). Left winger Taylor Hall has been the team’s brightest spot thus far, posting a team-high five assists and six points.
10-24-19 | Wild v. Predators -185 | Top | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 13 h 5 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Predators -185 Tonight’s game in Nashville will give the Wild (3-6-0, 6 points) a chance to win three straight. The problem for Minnesota is that they’ll be facing a Predators (5-3-1, 11 points) team that’s been much better to start the season. By edging out Montreal and shutting out Edmonton in two-straight home games, the Wild earned back-to-back victories and pulled even with Chicago in last place of the Central Division. On average, the Wild are scoring just 2.33 goals per game (29th) while allowing 3.56 goals per game (tied for 26th). Alex Stalock has been Minnesota’s best option at goaltender with a save percentage of .942 and allowing just 1.64 goals per game. Defenseman Brad Hunt leads the way offensively with four goals and six points. The Predators are coming off a 6-1 throttling of Anaheim and are now set for their third-straight home game. Sitting second in the Central Division, Nashville relies on its offense to win games. On average, the Predators are scoring a league-best 4.22 goals per game while allowing 3.44 goals per game (tied for 23rd). Defenseman Ryan Ellis leads the team with 11 assists and 12 points.
10-24-19 | SMU v. Houston +14.5 | Top | 34-31 | Win | 100 | 33 h 8 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Houston +14½ -110 D’Eriq King and the Houston Cougars (3-4) were supposed to be a top AAC team this year. Instead, it’s the undefeated #16 SMU Mustangs who lead the conference. Tonight, these two teams face off in Houston. Ever since opening the season with a 37-30 win over Arkansas State, SMU has scored at least 41 points in every single contest. That includes a win over #25 TCU and a 45-21 performance against a good Temple team. On average, the Mustangs are scoring 44 points per game on 521 yards of offense while allowing 27 points per game on 370 yards. Quarterback Shane Buechele leads the SMU offense. Completing 64.8% of his passes, Buechele has thrown for 2,122 yards with 18 touchdowns and six interceptions. Buechele is coming off a huge game against Temple in which he threw for 457 yards with six TDs and one pick. The Cougars followed up a loss to #25 Cincinnati with a 24-17 win over UConn. On average, Houston is scoring 31 points per game on 393 yards of offense while allowing 31 points per game on 470 yards. Houston features a running game with a pair of backs that have scored three touchdowns each. Kyle Porter leads the team with 448 yards, and Patrick Carr has racked up 301 yards of his own. Although Houston doesn’t have the stingiest defense in the nation, giving 14.5 points to an offense that averages 31 is a dangerous affair.
10-24-19 | Hawks v. Pistons UNDER 222.5 | Top | 117-100 | Win | 100 | 12 h 5 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Hawks/Pistons under222½ -110 While the vast majority of the NBA played its first game on Wednesday, the Hawks (0-0) are set to open their season tonight in Detroit when they take on the Pistons (1-0). The over/under is set at 222.5 points. After a 29-53 season a year ago, Atlanta enters its second year of a youth movement spearheaded by Trae Young. Last season, Young averaged 19.1 points, 8.1 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game. After an active offseason, Young will be joined by the likes of Evan Turner, Jabari Parker, Cam Reddish, and Vince Carter, who is set for the 22ndand final season of his productive career. If rookie De’Andre Hunter can provide a much-needed defensive presence, this team could take a huge step forward. The Pistons will enter their home opener without the freshest of legs after playing in Indiana last night. Detroit was able to earn a 119-110 victory over the Pacers without Blake Griffin, and will now aim to do the same thing again. Andre Drummond was a force for the pistons in that game, leading all scorers with 32 points and adding a monstrous 23 rebounds, seven of which came on offense. Yet after playing 41 minutes, don’t expect Drummond to duplicate that performance in his second game in as many nights.
10-23-19 | Nationals +170 v. Astros | Top | 12-3 | Win | 170 | 11 h 55 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Nationals +170 Most expected the Astros (107-55) to start the World Series with a victory behind the nearly-unhittable arm of Gerrit Cole. Instead, the Nationals (93-69) stole Game 1 in Houston and now aim to make it two in a row. Nationals outfielder Juan Soto was the difference maker on Tuesday, taking Cole deep to tie the game at 2-2 on his way to batting in three of Washington’s five runs. Soto, who turns 21 on Friday, leads the team with three home runs and 10 RBIs in the postseason. After handing Cole his first loss in 26 starts, the Nationals will aim to steal another game in Houston by sending out right-hander Stephen Strasburg (18-6, 3.32 ERA). Among pitchers with at least five postseason starts, Strasburg’s 1.10 postseason ERA is the third-lowest in MLB history. This postseason, Strasburg has allowed only one walk on his way to a 1.64 ERA. Right-hander Justin Verlander (21-6, 2.58 ERA) gets the start for the Astros. Culminating in a 3.70 ERA, Verlander has a couple of losses in addition to a pair of strong outings so far this postseason. After yesterday’s loss, this suddenly feels like a must-win home game for Verlander and the Astros.
10-23-19 | Penguins +190 v. Lightning | Top | 2-3 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 53 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Penguins +190 After spending a year as the dominant team in the NHL a year ago, the Lightning (4-3-1, 9 points) have gotten off to a slow start this season. Tonight in Tampa Bay, they’ll aim to get back on track with a win over the Penguins (6-4-0, 12 points). Pittsburgh is coming off two straight losses after being shut out by Vegas before losing 4-2 at the hands of the Panthers. However, the Penguins remain a top-three team in the Metropolitan Division. On average, the Penguins are scoring 3.40 goals per game (8th) while allowing 2.70 goals per game (10th). A solid, balanced Pittsburgh team is led by Sidney Crosby, who owns a team-high nine assists and 13 points through the first 10 games of the season. Currently only ahead of the Senators and Red Wings in the Atlantic Division, the Lightning are having trouble keeping the puck out of their own net. Most recently, Tampa Bay allowed six goals in a loss to the Avalanche. On average, the Lightning are scoring 3.50 goals per game (7th) while allowing 3.38 goals per game (21st). Steven Stamkos has been at the forefront of the Tampa Bay attack to start the season. With a team-high four goals, Stamkos leads the Lightning with nine points.
10-23-19 | Celtics v. 76ers UNDER 211.5 | Top | 93-107 | Win | 100 | 12 h 26 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Celtics/76ers under211½ -110 Two teams aiming to contend for the Eastern Conference title will face off in the season opener as they Celtics (0-0) go into Philly to take on the 76ers (0-0). The over/under is set at 211.5 points. This Atlantic Division showdown features a host of talent on either side of the ball, which is why only Milwaukee holds better odds than these two teams in the conference. On the side of Boston, the departures of Al Horford and Aron Baynes will leave them thin at big man, and losing Kyrie Irving takes away a huge scoring threat. However, the Celtics were able to sign Kemba Walker and Enes Kanter to ease those losses. Walker will be added to a talented roster that features Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Gordon Hayward. But with a number of players learning to play together, the Celtics may need some time to gel offensively. Philadelphia’s big offseason losses included Jimmy Butler and JJ Redick, but the team was able to reload by adding Josh Richardson and Al Horford. Those two players will join Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, and Tobias Harris to send out a formidable squad with plenty to offer on both ends of the floor.
10-23-19 | Wolves v. Nets OVER 225.5 | 127-126 | Win | 100 | 10 h 23 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Wolves/Nets over225½ -109 Two teams aiming for low-end playoff seeds will face off to start the season when the Timberwolves (0-0) go up against the Nets (0-0) in Brooklyn. After ending a 14-year playoff drought last year, the Wolves will once again rely on the All-Star talents of Karl-Anthony Towns. Last season, Towns averaged 24.4 points and a career-high 12.4 rebounds. The NBA’s youngest head coach, Ryan Saunders, will be pushing his backcourt – Andrew Wiggins and Jeff Teague – to do more damage from the three-point line. Wiggins averaged 18.1 points with 33.9% shooting from three throughout the 2018-19 season. Under Saunders, it’s highly likely that Minnesota will display a much faster pace than previous years. The Nets may be a year away from competing for an NBA title, but they’ll be aiming to lay a foundation to build on starting this season. Brooklyn may be the headliner of a wild offseason by acquiring the trio of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and DeAndre Jordan. However, the Nets lost both Jared Dudley and All-Star D’Angelo Russell. Although Irving experienced a tumultuous year in Boston last season, he hit career highs with five rebounds and 6.9 assists per game in addition to averaging 23.8 points.
10-23-19 | Cavs v. Magic -8 | 85-94 | Win | 100 | 10 h 58 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Magic -8 -114 New Cavaliers (0-0) head coach John Beilein is set to make his debut for the franchise on the road against the Magic (0-0) in Orlando. Beilein is taking over a team that has three remaining or returning players from the 2016 glory days: Matthew Dellavedova, Kevin Love, and Tristan Thompson. Love hasn’t been able to return to his 26 point, 13 rebound days from Minnesota, but he averaged 17 points and 10.9 rebounds a season ago. With some young talent in the form of Collin Sexton and rookie Darius Garland, the Cavs have a shot at the playoffs if they get solid contributions from Larry Nance Jr. and Jordan Clarkson. The Magic have made some moves that give them a great opportunity to make a second-straight postseason appearance for the first time since 2012. First of all, Orlando resigned Nikola Vucevic, who averaged 20.8 points, 12 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game last year. Orlando simply offers more firepower than the Cavs, featuring Terrence Ross, Michael Carter-Williams, Markelle Fultz, Aaron Gordon, and Jonathan Isaac. If Gordon, who shot 34.9% from three last year, and Isaac, who shot 32.3% from three last year, can improve from deep, this team could be dangerous.
10-22-19 | Lakers -2.5 v. Clippers | Top | 102-112 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 35 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Lakers -2½ -110 The NBA season will tip off with a bang as we get things started with the battle for Los Angeles between the Lakers (0-0) and Clippers (0-0). While we’ll have to wait for the real war between LeBron James and Anthony Davis versus Kawhi Leonard and Paul George – George is out after undergoing surgery on his shoulders – tonight’s matchup will certainly quench a thirst that was created as soon as these two teams acquired their premier talent. After sending a host of young players to New Orleans, including Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, and Brandon Ingram, the Lakers acquired Davis and became an instant favorite in the Western Conference. Davis joins LeBron and the up-and-coming talent of Kyle Kuzma in addition to veteran role players like JaVale McGee and Rajon Rondo. The Clippers pulled off a pair of blockbuster moves to land free agent Kawhi Leonard and acquire Paul George from the Thunder. With the likes of Patrick Beverley leading the role players on the Clippers, this team is full of scrappy guys who’ll compliment their stars. Without George on the floor, the advantage falls to the Lakers. Last year, Davis averaged 25.9 points, 12 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game with the Pelicans, and LeBron averaged 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game for L.A. As we get our first look at these two teams, keep an eye on Danny Green and what sort of contribution he can provide for the Lakers from three.
10-22-19 | Nationals v. Astros -183 | Top | 5-4 | Loss | -183 | 13 h 8 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Astros -183 After sweeping St. Louis in the NLCS, the Nationals (93-69) are finally going on the road to take on the Astros (107-55) in Houston for Game 1 of the World Series. On the mound, Washington will be sending out right-hander Max Scherzer (11-7, 2.92 ERA). The Nats starting pitching destroyed the Cardinals last series, and Scherzer played his part. Taking a no-hitter into the seventh, Scherzer ended the game with 11 strikeouts and just one hit allowed through seven innings. After opting to save Gerrit Cole (20-5, 2.50 ERA) and not pitch him in Game 6 of the ALCS, the Astros right-hander gets the start in Game 1. In addition to not losing a game since May, Cole has been virtually unhittable throughout the postseason. Since beginning October baseball, Cole has notched 32 strikeouts and owns a 0.40 ERA in three starts. The Nationals have counted on the offense of Howie Kendrick and Anthony Rendon throughout the postseason. While Kendrick has a team-high nine RBIs, Rendon is batting .375 with seven RBIs of his own. For Houston, Jose Altuve is the main man. With a .349 average, Altuve has hit five homers and eight RBIs in the postseason.
10-22-19 | Kings +130 v. Jets | Top | 3-2 | Win | 130 | 13 h 5 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Kings +130 The Jets (5-5-0, 10 points) have played two more games and earned two more wins than their opponents tonight. Hoping to cut into that deficit will be the Kings (3-5-0, 6 points), who are on the road in Winnipeg. Los Angeles is currently tied with San Jose for last place in the NHL’s Pacific Division. However, the Kings got back on track after three straight losses with a 4-1 win over Calgary on the 19th. On average, the Kings are scoring 3.00 goals per game (tied for 13th) while allowing 4.00 goals per game (tied for last). With a save percentage of .897, goaltender Jack Campbell is allowing 2.77 goals per game. Offensively, center Anze Kopitar leads the Kings with three goals, six assists, and nine points. Winnipeg has followed a similar recent schedule, having lost three straight before earning a 1-0 win over Edmonton two days ago. The Jets are chasing both Colorado and St. Louis in the Central Division. On average, Winnipeg is scoring just 2.60 goals per game (22nd) while allowing 3.30 goals per game (19th). With a team-high four goals, center Mark Scheifele has been the most productive player for the Jets by adding eight assists for 12 points.
10-22-19 | Coyotes v. Rangers +100 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 53 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Rangers +100 For the first time in a week, the Coyotes (4-2-1, 9 points) will go on the road and visit the Rangers (2-4-0, 4 points) in New York. In three straight wins over the Jets, Predators, and Senators, the Coyotes have outscored their opponents 14-6 over the last seven days. On average, Arizona is scoring 3.00 goals per game (tied for 13th) and allowing 1.86 goals per game (2nd). The strength of the Coyotes thus far has been goaltender Darcy Kuemper, who’s allowing only 1.62 goals per game in addition to a .949 save percentage. Offensively, center Nick Schmaltz doesn’t have the most goals or assists, but leads the team with eight points on three goals and five assists. The Rangers have lost four straight contests and are eager to claim their third win of the season and climb out of last place in the Metropolitan Division. On the bright side, New York has managed at least two goals in each of their last three games. On average, the Rangers are scoring 2.83 goals per game (19th) while allowing 3.67 goals per game (28th). New York has been able to count on center Mika Zibanejad through the early portion of the season. With one power play goal, Zibanejad leads the team with four goals, seven assists, and 11 points.
10-21-19 | Senators +190 v. Stars | Top | 1-2 | Loss | -100 | 14 h 35 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Senators +190 You’ll only find three wins between the Senators (1-5-1, 3 points) and Stars (2-7-1, 5 points) as these two teams go into this evening’s contest in Dallas. Ottawa has been outscored 10-4 in three straight losses, but they can pull confidence from a 4-2 victory over a good Lightning team just over a week ago. The Senators would rather be at home, but they’re playing a Dallas team that hasn’t won in its own building yet. On average, the Senators are scoring 2.29 goals per game while allowing 3.71 goals per game. Right winger Connor Brown leads Ottawa with five assists, and center Vladislav Namestnikov has the team-high in goals (three) and points (five). Sitting above only the Wild in the Central Division, the Stars have had plenty of trouble sticking the puck in the back of the net this year. We’ll see if Dallas can keep up its performance coming off the team’s best outing of the year, a 4-1 win over Philadelphia. On average, the Stars are scoring just 2.10 goals per game, which is last in the NHL, while allowing 3.00 goals per game. With six goals and seven points, Roope Hintz leads the Dallas offense from the left wing.
10-21-19 | Patriots v. Jets +10 | Top | 33-0 | Loss | -115 | 33 h 15 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Jets +10 -115 Two familiar opponents are set for a Monday Night Football brawl as the undefeated Patriots (6-0) go on the road to take on the Jets (1-4). The double-digit favorite Pats are yet to drop a contest, but they’ve also played one of the easiest schedules in the NFL through six weeks of play. New England has had the pleasure of playing the likes of Miami, Washington, and the Giants thus far. While it’s taken the Patriots offense awhile to get going, the defense has been dominant throughout the season. On average, New England is scoring 32 points per game on 399 yards of offense while allowing an NFL-lowest eight points per game on 260 yards. After throwing for only 150 yards against Buffalo, quarterback Tom Brady has bounced back with 348 yards against the Redskins and 334 yards against the Giants. On the season, Brady has thrown for 1,743 yards with 10 touchdowns and three picks. The Jets have only been better than Miami in the AFC East, but they’re coming off their first win of the season on Sam Darnold’s return and their best offensive performance of the year. On average, New York is scoring 13 points per game on 250 yards of offense while allowing 25 points per game on 369 yards. Although New England won a Week 3 matchup between these teams by a score of 30-14, Darnold was out of the game with mono. Now, the Jets will have their starter under center after going 23 of 32 for 338 yards, two TDs, and a pick against Dallas last week.
10-20-19 | Flames v. Ducks -120 | Top | 2-1 | Loss | -120 | 12 h 19 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Ducks -120 Tonight’s game between the Flames (4-4-1, 9 points) and Ducks (6-2-0, 12 points) figures to have an impact on the Pacific Division standings, in which Anaheim sits second. Calgary will play for the second time in two days after losing to the Kings by a score of 4-1 last night. On the road, the Flames are just 1-4 and face a good Ducks team in Anaheim. On average, the Flames are scoring 2.56 goals per game while allowing 2.89 goals per game. Center Elias Lindholm leads Calgary with five goals, but left winger Johnny Gaudreau has a team-high seven points with three goals and four assists. With an extra day of rest, the Ducks are coming off a pair of wins over Buffalo and Carolina on a combined score of 9-4. Anaheim doesn’t sport the most prolific offense, but a strong defense makes up for it. On average, the Ducks are scoring just 2.75 goals per game, but they can boast the NHL’s best overall defensive record by allowing just 1.75 goals per game. With four goals and three assists, left winger Jakob Silfverberg leads the Ducks with seven points. With a matching save percentage of .941, goaltenders Ryan Miller and John Gibson have been solid in net all season.
10-20-19 | Jaguars v. Bengals UNDER 44.5 | Top | 27-17 | Win | 100 | 28 h 54 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Jaguars/Bengals under44½ -110 With a combined record of 2-10, the Jaguars (2-4) and winless Bengals (0-6) are set to go head to head in Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon. The over/under is set at 44.5 points. Jacksonville has shown flashes of offensive prowess with Gardner Minshew leading the team, but they’ve failed to score more than 27 points in any game this year. Most recently, the Jags were held to six points by a good New Orleans defense. On average, Jacksonville is scoring 20 points per game on 380 yards of offense while allowing 22 points on 392 yards. Minshew has thrown for 1,442 yards with nine touchdowns and two interceptions, but much of Jacksonville’s big-play ability comes down to whether or not Minshew can find DJ Charke Jr. On 30 catches, Charke Jr. has 528 yards and five touchdowns with 11 big plays. The Bengals have been nothing short of dreadful this year. Sitting last in the AFC North, Cincinnati has yet to score more than 23 points in any game. On average, the Bengals are scoring 16 points per game on 331 yards of offense while allowing 27 points per game on 434 yards. With just 56.5 yards rushing per game, the Cincinnati offense doesn’t scare anyone. The Bengals running game only has two touchdowns on the year, both of which came from quarterback Andy Dalton.
10-20-19 | Raiders v. Packers OVER 46.5 | 24-42 | Win | 100 | 24 h 34 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Raiders/Packers over46½ -114 The Raiders (3-2) have been a pleasant surprise in the AFC West, but they face a tough task this afternoon as they go into Green Bay to face the Packers (5-1). The over/under is set at 46.5 points. Oakland is coming off a bye week after winning two straight over Indianapolis and Chicago, the latter of which was played in London. On average, the Raiders are scoring 21 points per game on 357 yards of offense while allowing 25 points per game on 368 yards. Quarterback Derek Carr has thrown for 1,117 yards with six touchdowns and three interceptions. Running back Josh Jacobs had his biggest game of the season against the Bears by rushing for 123 yards. On the season, Jacobs has 430 yards and four TDs. Only a loss to Philly has kept the Pack from remaining perfect. With 34 and 23-point performances, Green Bay last defeated the Cowboys and Lions. On average, the Packers are scoring 24 points on 370 yards of offense while allowing 19 points per game on 384 yards. After a slow start, Aaron Rodgers has come on strong. On the season, Rodgers has thrown for 1,590 yards, eight touchdowns, and two interceptions. Most recently, Rodgers threw for 283 yards against the Detroit.
10-19-19 | Air Force v. Hawaii OVER 66 | 56-26 | Win | 100 | 37 h 9 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Air Force/Hawaii over66 -110 Identical records will be put on the line when the Air Force Falcons (4-2) go on the road to take on the Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors (4-2) on Saturday night. The over/under is set at 66 points. Air Force is coming off one of their better offensive performances of the season, defeating Fresno State by a score of 43-24. On average, Air Force is scoring 34 points per game on 424 yards of offense while allowing 24 points per game on 310 yards. The Air Force triple option is led by quarterback Donald Hammond III, who’s thrown for 655 yards, five touchdowns, and three picks in addition to his 249 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground. The Falcons have two 400-yard rushers in Taven Birdow and Kadin Remsberg. Most recently, the Rainbow Warriors followed up a 54-3 win over Nevada with a 59-37 loss to #14 Boise State. Hawai’i has scored 35 or more in each of their past three games. On average, the Rainbow Warriors are scoring 37 points per game on 473 yards of offense while allowing 33 points on 412 yards. No stranger to high-scoring affairs and airing it out, Hawai’i quarterback Cole McDonald is on pace for a huge year. With a 66.7% completion percentage, McDonald has thrown for 1,880 yards, 20 touchdowns, and nine picks.
10-19-19 | Boise State v. BYU OVER 45 | 25-28 | Win | 100 | 37 h 59 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Boise State/BYU over45 -110 The BYU Cougars (2-4) will have their hands full this weekend as the undefeated #14 Boise State Broncos (6-0) come to town. The over/under is set at 45 points. Boise State hasn’t lost a single game thus far, and has scored at least 30 points in all but one game this year. BYU’s biggest issue is that the Broncos are coming off their highest-scoring game of the season after putting up 59 points on Hawai’i. On average, the Broncos are scoring 37 points per game on 488 yards of offense while allowing 20 points per game on 327 yards. Between John Hightower and Khalil Shakir, the Broncos have a pair of 400-yard receivers for quarterback Hank Bachmeier to throw to. On the season, Bachmeier has thrown for 1,547 yards with nine touchdowns and three interceptions. After taking down #24 USC, BYU has lost three straight games to #22 Washington, Toledo, and USF. In each of those three losses, the Cougars have allowed at least 27 points to their opponent. On average, the Cougars are scoring 22 points per game on 386 yards of offense while allowing 31 points per game on 413 yards. BYU quarterback Zach Wilson has thrown for 1,312 yards with five touchdowns and four picks.
10-19-19 | Panthers v. Predators -140 | 3-2 | Loss | -140 | 12 h 10 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Predators -140 Just a single point separates the Panthers (2-2-3, 7 points) and Predators (4-3-0, 8 points) through seven games. Both teams will face off this evening in Nashville. With enough points to place them ahead of only Detroit and Ottawa in the Atlantic Division, the Panthers are currently looking up at a host of teams, including Buffalo at 13 points. Florida has won just one of their past five games, and will be playing for the second time in as many days. On average, the Panthers are scoring 3.29 goals per game while allowing 3.86 goals per game. Center Aleksander Barkov leads the Panthers with six assists, and left winger Mike Hoffman leads the team with five goals and eight points. Nashville tends to find itself in high-scoring games, including a 7-4 loss to the Kings a week ago. Since then, the Preds have defeated the Knights and lost to the Coyotes. On average, Nashville is scoring an NHL-best 4.29 goals per game while allowing 4.00 goals per game. Center Matt Duchene leads the team with nine points, but center Filip Forsberg has a team-high five goals and defenseman Ryan Ellis has a team-high eight assists.
10-19-19 | Avalanche v. Lightning -160 | Top | 6-2 | Loss | -160 | 11 h 21 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Lightning -160 The Lightning (4-2-1, 9 points) were the NHL’s best team throughout last year’s regular season. The Avalanche (6-0-1, 13 points) have taken that title for the opening part of this season. Tonight, these two clubs will get to settle it all on the ice in Tampa Bay. Keeping up an exceptional goal rate, Colorado has earned at least a point in each one of their seven games thus far. And last night’s 5-4 win over the Panthers helped them extend their lead in the Central Division. On average, the Avalanche are scoring 4.14 goals per game, which is good enough for second in the NHL. Defensively, Colorado is allowing 2.71 goals per game (10th). Nathan McKinnon has been the main man for Colorado thus far. From the center position, McKinnon has scored four goals and added six assists for 10 points, all of which are team highs. The Lightning are coming off back-to-back victories over Montreal and Boston as they aim to find last year’s form. Sitting third in the Atlantic Division, Tampa Bay will be on an extra day of rest after taking last night off. On average, the Lightning are scoring 3.71 goals per game (6th) and allowing 3.00 goals per game (14th). Tampa Bay goalminder Andrei Vasilevskiy has allowed just 2.58 goals per game on top of a save percentage of .921.
10-19-19 | Kentucky v. Georgia UNDER 47 | 0-21 | Win | 100 | 32 h 29 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Kentucky/Georgia under47 -110 We’ll find out how rattled the #10 Georgia Bulldogs (5-1) are after their first loss of the season when they host the Kentucky Wildcats (3-3) on Saturday. The over/under is set at 47 points. In the world of college football, the Wildcats are generally involved in low-scoring games. None of Kentucky’s last four games have gone over 50 total points, and the Wildcats haven’t scored more than 24 in any of them. On average, the Wildcats are scoring 24 points per game on 384 yards of offense while allowing 24 points per game on 380 yards. After six games, Kentucky doesn’t have a running back over 420 yards or a receiver over 350 yards. However, the Wildcats offer a perfectly balanced offense that averages 192 rushing yards and 192 net passing yards per game. Before last weekend, Georgia was considered one of the best teams in the nation with a clear path to the College Football Playoff. Then, the Bulldogs scored just 17 against South Carolina. On average, Georgia is scoring 39 points on 504 yards of offense while allowing 12 points per game on 281 yards. The 20 points Georgia gave up to South Carolina is the most any team has put on the Bulldogs all season long. In addition to a couple of 17-point performances, other Georgia opponents have scored 14, six, and zero points in the remaining games.
10-19-19 | Baylor v. Oklahoma State OVER 67.5 | 45-27 | Win | 100 | 31 h 59 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Baylor/Oklahoma State over67½ -110 The Oklahoma State Cowboys (4-2) will face their third ranked opponent in four games when they host the undefeated #19 Baylor Bears (6-0) on Saturday. The over/under is set at 67.5 points. Although the Bears remained unscathed, it took two overtimes for them to earn a three-point victory over Texas Tech last week. Over the past two weeks, Baylor has scored a combined 64 points. On average, the Bears are scoring 38 points on 475 yards of offense while allowing 18 points per game on 340 yards. With 1,554 yards, 11 touchdowns, and three picks, quarterback Charlie Brewer leads the Baylor attack. Receiver Denzel Mimz, who has 32 catches for 503 yards and five touchdowns, is Brewer’s favorite target. Coming off a 45-35 loss to Texas Tech, Oklahoma State has the benefit of an extra week of preparation with a bye last week. On average, the Cowboys are scoring 40 points per game on 528 yards of offense while allowing 28 points per game on 415 yards. This Oklahoma State offense is powered by Chuba Hubbard. The Cowboys running back has already rushed for 1,094 yards and 13 touchdowns through six games of the season.
10-19-19 | Temple v. SMU OVER 59 | Top | 21-45 | Win | 100 | 30 h 29 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Temple/SMU over59 -110 Two of the top teams in the American Athletic Conference are set to face off Saturday when the Temple Owls (5-1) take on the #19 SMU Mustangs (6-0). The over/under is set at 59 points. Only a single loss to Buffalo has kept the Owls from a perfect season through six games. With wins over #21 Maryland and #23 Memphis, Temple can now boast two wins over ranked teams. They’ll aim for a third on Saturday. On average, the Owls are scoring 30 points per game on 446 yards of offense while allowing 19 points per game on 325 yards. Quarterback Anthony Russo has led Temple to five victories on his 1,502 yards, 13 touchdowns, and six interceptions. Running back Re’Mahn Davis has rushed for 575 yards and four touchdowns. Apart from a 37-30 victory to open the season, SMU has scored at least 41 points in every game this year. The Mustangs now enter this contest after a bye week that followed their comeback win over Tulsa a couple of weeks ago. On average, the Mustangs are scoring 44 points per game on 498 yards of offense while allowing 28 points per game on 386 yards. The balanced SMU attack is led by quarterback Shane Buechele, who’s thrown for 1,665 yards, 12 touchdowns, and five picks. Buechele has two 500-yard receivers in Reggie Roberson Jr. and James Proche.
10-19-19 | South Florida v. Navy UNDER 52 | 3-35 | Win | 100 | 30 h 18 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on South Florida/Navy under52 -110 With only a single loss on the record, the Navy Midshipmen (4-1) have gotten off to a great first half of the season. Saturday, they’ll host the South Florida Bulls (3-3) in an American Athletic Conference contest. The over/under is set at 52 points. South Florida has gotten it going over the past couple of weeks with wins over UConn and BYU. On average, the Bulls are scoring 27 points per game on 339 yards of offense while allowing 29 points on 383 yards. Coming off a 150-yard performance a week ago, running back Jordan Cronkrite will aim for another big game. On the season, Cronkrite has 382 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Jordan McCloud is the team’s second-leading rusher with 167 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. With two straight wins over Air Force and Tulsa, Navy has improved to 4-1 with their only loss coming against a good Memphis team. On average, Navy is scoring 38 points per game on 434 yards of offense while allowing 19 points per game on 286 yards. In addition to quarterback Malcolm Perry’s 489 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions through the air, he’s the team’s leading rusher with 604 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground. With good defenses that have allowed more than 25 points just twice in the last 10 combined games, points should be at a premium in this one.
10-19-19 | Canadiens +135 v. Blues | 5-2 | Win | 135 | 7 h 50 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Canadiens +135 The Canadiens (3-2-2, 8 points) and Blues (3-1-3, 9 points) have six wins and five overtime losses between them. Tonight, these two teams will battle in St. Louis. Montreal is coming off a shutout victory over the Wild, giving them two wins out of their last three contest. In those three games, the Canadiens have outscored their opponents 11-6. Meanwhile, the Blues have lost three straight to the Canadiens (6-3), Islanders (3-2), and Canucks (4-3). The Canadiens and Blues last met one week ago. With that 6-3 score line, Montreal outperformed their season averages. Thus far, the Canadiens are scoring 3.57 goals per game while allowing 3.29 goals per game. St. Louis is scoring 3.14 goals per game while allowing 3.29 goals per game. Offensively, Montreal is currently led by the trio of right winger Brendan Gallagher, right winger Joel Armia, and center Jonathan Drouin. Gallagher leads the team with seven points on three goals and four assists, Armia is the goals leader with four, and Drouin has a team-high five assists. The Blues have counted on a pair of centers for much of their offensive production. While Ryan O’Reilly leads St. Louis with six assists, Brayden Schenn continues to lead the team with five goals and eight points.
10-19-19 | Coastal Carolina v. Georgia Southern UNDER 45.5 | 27-30 | Loss | -110 | 29 h 20 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Coastal Carolina/Georgia Southern under45½ -110 An all-Sun Belt contest on Saturday features the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (3-3) on the road against the Georgia Southern Eagles (2-3). The over/under is set at 45.5 points. It’s been an interesting 30-day stretch for the Chanticleers coming into this matchup. After putting up 46 and 62 points in wins over Norfolk and UMass, Coastal Carolina dropped back-to-back games against App State and Georgia State. On average, the Chanticleers are scoring 34 points per game on 423 yards of offense while allowing 27 points on 319 yards. Without a receiver with more than 309 yards through the air, the Chanticleers rely on the running game more often than not. If Georgia Southern can suffocate running back CJ Marable, who has 508 rushing yards and five touchdowns, they’ll have a good chance in this one. The Eagles enter this contest with the momentum of a 20-17 double-overtime win over South Alabama. On average, Georgia Southern is scoring 21 points per game on 278 yards of offense while allowing 32 points per game on 380 yards. Georgia Southern has been inept when it comes to a passing game. Without a single 100-yard receiver, both Georgia Southern quarterbacks have thrown for a combined 277 yards.
10-19-19 | Central Michigan v. Bowling Green OVER 52.5 | 38-20 | Win | 100 | 28 h 20 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Central Michigan/Bowling Green over52½ -110 Despite a four-game losing streak, the Bowling Green Falcons (2-4) have a chance to catch Kent State in the Mid-American Conference. To do so, they’ll need a win over the Central Michigan Chippewas (4-3) on Saturday. The over/under is set at 52.5 points. Central Michigan is coming off two wins over Eastern Michigan and New Mexico State. Scoring 42 points in both contests, the Chippewas outscored their opponents 84-42 in those games. On average, Central Michigan is scoring 28 points per game on 411 yards of offense while allowing 28 points per game on 367 yards. The Central Michigan offense is led by the duo of Jonathan Ward and Kobe Lewis at the running back position. While Ward has 531 yards and five touchdowns, Lewis has 491 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. With a 20-7 win over Toledo last week, Bowling Green halted a four-game skid in which they were outscored 201 to 27. 52-0 losses to both #9 Notre Dame and Kansas State attributed to much of that disparity. On average, the Falcons are scoring 16 points per game on 343 yards of offense while allowing a whopping 35 points per game on 459 yards. With 28 catches for 337 yards and two touchdowns, receiver Quintin Morris is Bowling Green’s leading threat in the passing game. With a defense that’s been torched for at least 52 points on three separate occasions, the Falcons will need their offense to keep up with Central Michigan in this one.
10-18-19 | Astros v. Yankees +134 | Top | 1-4 | Win | 134 | 11 h 46 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Yankees +134 The Yankees (103-59) will have no time to lick their wounds after going to 3-1 in the ALCS. Instead, they’ll have to defeat the Astros (107-55) this evening to stay alive. After Game 4’s 8-3 loss to Houston, the Yankees look like a shell of the team that scored a majors-best 943 runs in the regular season. After committing four errors and going 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position, the Yankees will have to be much better in Game 5 if they’ll stay alive. The first order of business for New York will be getting to right-hander Justin Verlander (21-6, 2.58 ERA), who starts for the Astros tonight. Verlander pitched Game 2 of the series, allowing only two runs on an Aaron Judge homer in 6 2/3 innings. As an Astro, Verlander has 28 strikeouts and a 1.19 ERA in three games against the Yankees. New York will be sending out left-hander James Paxton (15-6, 3.82 ERA) to start. Although he’d given up just one run on four hits, Paxton was removed from Game 2 after just 2 1/3 innings. In 15 home games this year, Paxton went 7-3 with a 3.35 ERA.
10-18-19 | Rangers +180 v. Capitals | Top | 2-5 | Loss | -100 | 12 h 56 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Rangers +180 The Rangers (2-2-0, 4 points) will be looking to gain some ground in the Metropolitan Division this evening as they take on the Capitals (4-2-2, 10 points) in Washington D.C. After starting the season off with a pair of wins, New York has lost its last two contests to Edmonton and New Jersey. On average, the Rangers are scoring 3.25 goals per game while allowing 3.50 goals per game. Center Mika Zibanejad has been the brightest player for the Rangers thus far. Zibanejad is currently averaging a goal and assist per game. In total, Zibanejad leads the team with four goals, four assists, and eight points. Washington has an incredibly productive player of its own in defenseman John Carlson. With three goals and a team-high 11 assists, Carlson leads the Capitals with 14 points through the first eight games of the season. With a 4-3 win over Toronto two days ago, the Capitals now find themselves in a tie for second in the division with Pittsburgh. On average, Washington is both scoring and allowing 3.25 goals per game. The Capitals find themselves in the midst of a goalie controversy, as rookie Ilya Samsonov (3-1, .933 save percentage) has outperformed long-time netminder Braden Holtby (1-1-2, .846 save percentage).
10-18-19 | Stars v. Penguins -140 | 2-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 4 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Penguins -140 While the Stars (1-6-1, 3 points) have gotten off to a dismal start to the season, the Penguins (5-2-0, 10 points) have jumped out to second in the Metropolitan Division. Tonight, these two teams go head to head. Dallas has been thoroughly lacking offensive firepower through the first eight games of the season. The Stars now find themselves in the midst of a four-game losing streak in which they’ve managed only five goals. On average, the Stars are scoring just 1.88 goals per game, which ranks them last in the NHL. Dallas is also allowing 3.13 goals per game. Left winger Roope Hintz has been the best offensive weapon for Dallas thus far. With a team-high four goals and an assist, Hintz leads the team with five points. The Penguins enter this contest on a four-game winning streak that includes a 3-2 win over Colorado two days ago. With a pair of seven-goal outbursts, Pittsburgh has outscored its last four opponents 19 to 9. On average, the Penguins are scoring 4.00 goals per game, which is tied for second in the NHL. Defensively, the Penguins are allowing 2.57 goals per game. While center Jake Quentzel leads Pittsburgh in goals with five, center Sidney Crosby has scored four goals and leads the team with eight assists and 12 points.
10-18-19 | Pittsburgh v. Syracuse OVER 51 | Top | 27-20 | Loss | -110 | 29 h 55 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Pittsburgh/Syracuse over51 -110 The stage is set under the lights of Friday night for the Pitt Panthers (4-2) to go on the road and take on the Syracuse Orange (3-3) in an ACC battle. The over/under is set at 51 points. Since opening the season with a loss to Virginia, Pittsburgh has come on very strong with a 4-1 record over the past month and a half that includes a win over #15 UCF and just a seven-point loss to #13 Penn State. Most recently, the Panthers put up 33 points to defeat Duke by three. On average, the Panthers are scoring 22 points per game on 393 yards of offense while allowing 23 points on 298 yards. In his five games played this year, quarterback Kenny Pickett has thrown for 1,370 yards, six touchdowns, and four interceptions. Pickett’s favorite target has been Taysir Mack, who’s caught 41 passes for 511 yards and two touchdowns. After scoring 52 and 41 points in wins over Western Michigan and Holy Cross, Syracuse fell to NC State by six points a week ago. On average, Syracuse is scoring 26 points on 378 yards of offense while allowing 26 points on 425 yards. The duo of quarterback Tommy DeVito and receiver Trishton Jackson has been powerful this year. While DeVito has thrown for 1,534 yards, 12 touchdowns, and five picks, Jackson has racked up 499 yards and six touchdowns on 33 catches.
10-17-19 | Blazers v. Nuggets UNDER 220 | Top | 104-110 | Win | 100 | 11 h 55 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Blazers/Nuggets under220 -110 Throughout the preseason, the Trailblazers (2-2) haven’t had much trouble scoring points and the Nuggets (3-0) haven’t lost a game. Tonight, these two squads will face off in Denver. Portland has scored at least 118 points twice in their exhibition games, and they’re coming off 126-118 win over Utah. In that game, the duo of C.J. McCollum and Damian Lillard did the majority of the damage for the Blazers. Including five three-pointers, McCollum ended the contest with a game-high 28 points in addition to four assists. Lillard finished with 25 points, five rebounds, and four assists of his own. After going 11-of-15 from the field and 5-of-7 from three, don’t expect McCollum to be as efficient in tonight’s game. The Nuggets have won all three games in the preseason, but have failed to score more than 111 in any of them. Most recently, Denver defeated Phoenix 107-102. Jerami Grant led the Nuggets with 22 points in that contest, followed by 18 from Gary Harris and 16 from Jamal Murray. Despite scoring just three points, Torrey Craig led the Nuggets with a plus/minus of +20. No Denver opponent has scored more than 102 thus far in the preseason.
10-17-19 | Astros v. Yankees -127 | Top | 8-3 | Loss | -127 | 12 h 1 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Yankees -127 A Wednesday night rainout has pushed back Game 3 of the ALCS, with the winner of the series earning the right to play the Nationals in the World Series. Tonight, the Astros (107-55) and Yankees (103-59) will battle it out in New York. Throughout the series, New York has used relievers for more than 15 of the 28 innings played thus far, so they’ll be looking for theirs starters to go deeper from this point on. This evening, that job will fall to Masahiro Tanaka (11-9, 4.45 ERA), who starts again after a successful Game 1. In the series opener, Tanaka gave up only a single hit as he pitched six scoreless innings against the Astros. Over 41 postseason innings, Tanaka owns an ERA of 1.32. The Astros will counter with right-hander Zack Greinke (18-5, 2.93 ERA). In his last regular season start against New York, Greinke allowed two runs over five innings. He lasted six innings in the ALCS opener, allowing three runs on seven hits. The Yankees are 9-2 in their last 11 playoff games at home.
10-17-19 | Canucks +160 v. Blues | Top | 4-3 | Win | 160 | 11 h 29 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Canucks +160 It’s been a fairly successful start to the season for both the Canucks (3-2-0, 6 points) and Blues (3-1-2, 8 points), who will go head to head this evening in St. Louis. Vancouver has turned around an 0-2 start to the season with three straight wins over the Kings, Flyers, and Red Wings. Over those three wins, the Canucks outscored their opponents 16-5. On average, Vancouver is scoring 3.40 goals per game while allowing 2.20 goals per game. That +1.20 goal differential is good enough for fourth best in the NHL right now. Center J.T. Miller has been the main man for the Canucks thus far. With three goals and seven points, Miller leads the team. The defending Stanley Cup Champions are coming off two straight losses to the Canadiens and Islanders. The Blues were outscored 9-5 in those two games. On average, St. Louis is scoring 3.17 goals per game while allowing 3.33 goals per game. After four straight road games, this will be St. Louis’ first game at home in since an October 5th win over Dallas. On top of two assists, center Brayden Schenn has scored a team-high five goals and leads St. Louis with seven points.
10-17-19 | UL-Lafayette -6 v. Arkansas State | Top | 37-20 | Win | 100 | 33 h 52 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on UL-Lafayette -6 -110 Thursday evening features a matchup of Sun Belt programs as the University of Louisiana – Lafayette Ragin Cajuns (4-2) go on the road to take on the Arkansas State Red Wolves (3-3). After four straight wins, Lafayette suffered their second loss of the season last week as they fell to the Appalachian State Mountaineers by a score of 17-7. Offensively, the Ragin Cajuns have been great, scoring between 35 and 77 points in each of their victories. On average, Lafayette is scoring 38 points per game on 492 yards of offense while allowing 21 points per game on 344 yards. The Ragin Cajuns can boast a trio of productive running backs. Trey Ragas leads the team with 572 yards and six touchdowns on the ground. Following Ragas, running back Elijah Mitchell has racked up 470 yards and nine TDs while Raymond Calais has added 320 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Arkansas State is coming off a tough 52-38 loss to Georgia State, which is the first game they’ve dropped since the team’s 55-0 beatdown to #3 Georgia. On average, the Red Wolves are scoring 34 points on 430 yards of offense while allowing 39 points on 535 yards. This appears to be the perfect storm for Lafayette, who will love their chances with a high-powered offense going up against a defense that’s used to giving up a ton or yardage and points.
10-17-19 | Rangers v. Devils -115 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 10 h 7 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Devils -115 Through six games, the Devils (0-4-2, 2 points) don’t have anything to show in the win column. They’ll try to change that tonight when they host the Rangers (2-1-0, 4 points) in New Jersey. New York has only played three games thus far, the last of which was a 4-1 loss to Edmonton. On average, the Rangers are scoring 3.67 goals per game while allowing 3.00 goals per game. Center Mika Zibanejad has been incredible for the Rangers throughout the start of the season. In just three games, Zibanejad leads the team in all major offensive categories with four goals, four assists, and eight points. The Devils have had trouble putting the puck in the opposing net and keeping it out of their own. After being shutout against Boston, New Jersey’s most recent game ended in a 6-4 loss to Florida. On average, the Devils are scoring 2.17 goals per game while allowing 4.50 goals per game. Both of those marks place New Jersey 30th out of 31 teams. If the Devils are going to finally get a win, they’ll need left winger Taylor Hall to be good. So far, Hall leads the devils in assists, with four, and points, with five.
10-16-19 | Sabres v. Ducks -130 | Top | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 15 h 32 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Ducks -130 Hockey fans will get to treat themselves to a clash of two of the NHL’s better teams in this young season as the Sabres (5-0-1, 11 points) go into Anaheim to take on the Ducks (4-2-0, 8 points) this evening. Buffalo has earned a result from every one of their six games thus far, and that’s handed them a place atop the Atlantic Division standings. Meanwhile, the Ducks trail only Edmonton in the Pacific Division. Both teams last played on Monday, but the results were very different. The Sabres defeated Dallas 4-0 to rack up their third win in a row, and the Ducks lost for the second time this season in a 4-2 game in Boston. On average, the Sabres are scoring 4.00 goals per game while allowing 2.17 goals per game. The Ducks are averaging 2.17 goals per game while letting in just 1.67 goals per game, which is currently tied with Boston for the best mark in the NHL. This will be a test of great offense versus great defense, so the Sabres will be counting on center Jack Eichel, who leads the team with nine points, and right winger Victor Olofsson, who leads the team with five goals and just became the first player in NHL history to score his first seven career goals on the power play.
10-16-19 | Melbourne United +23 v. Kings | Top | 110-124 | Win | 100 | 13 h 19 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Melbourne United +23 -110 The Kings (2-2) will open up the regular season against the Suns on October 23rd. Tonight, Sacramento will complete its final in-game preparations in the team’s preseason finale against Melbourne United. After starting the preseason with a pair of losses to the Pacers, including a 132-131 overtime loss in the first exhibition game, the Kings have rallied to defeat the Suns 105-88 and the Jazz 128-115. The latter of Sacramento’s wins came against Utah, when the Kings received another effective night from guard Buddy Hield. On 9-of-17 shooting from the field and 3-of-6 from three, Hield racked up 23 points in 28 minutes. Hield ended with a plus/minus of +22 and added five assists and three rebounds. The team’s second leading scorer was Marvin Bagley III, who put up 22 points in 30 minutes on the floor. Bagley was a 50% shooter from the floor and from three on 16 and four attempts, respectively. The Kings power forward had a strong night on the boards, bringing down 11 rebounds and blocking two shots. The Sacramento bench was led by Bogdan Bogdanovic, who scored 16 points alongside eight assists and five rebounds in 29 minutes.
10-16-19 | Spurs +4 v. Rockets | 128-114 | Win | 100 | 11 h 40 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Spurs +4 -110 Through three preseason games, the Spurs (0-3) are winless. For head coach Gregg Popovich, getting better performances out of his team with just two games remaining before regular season play will be the objective. Tonight, the Spurs will take on the Rockets (3-1) in Houston. While the Spurs have allowed between 107 and 125 points in each preseason game thus far, the Rockets have scored at least 109 points in each of their exhibition games. The bigger issue for Houston is having allowed 129 and 111 points to the Raptors in back-to-back games. San Antonio most recently took on New Orleans in a game highlighted by Demar DeRozan and Bryn Forbes. While DeRozan had 16 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the field, Forbes was 7-for-13 on his way to 18 points for the Spurs. It was no surprise to see both James Harden and Russell Westbrook leading the Rockets in scoring in their latest contest. Both men put up 22 points, three rebounds, and three steals while Westbrook dished out four assists and Harden assisted nine times. Both teams will have one preseason game remaining after this evening’s contest.
10-16-19 | South Alabama v. Troy -14.5 | Top | 13-37 | Win | 100 | 11 h 59 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Troy -14½ -110 Despite entering a Wednesday evening game against the South Alabama Jaguars (1-5) as a two-touchdown favorite, the Troy Trojans (2-3) have just two wins on the season. South Alabama hasn’t won since a 37-14 victory over Jackson State, but they’re coming off a 20-17 double-overtime loss against Georgia Southern. On average, the Jaguars are scoring 17 points per game on 319 yards of offense while allowing 29 points on 400 yards per game. With 170 yards per game on the ground, the running game is the strength of this South Alabama team. Running back Tra Minter leads the Jaguars with 477 yards and two touchdowns. Both South Alabama and Troy enjoyed a bye week last weekend, but the Jaguars have also had two extra days to prepare for this contest. Troy has fallen in their last two games to Arkansas State and Missouri, allowing a total of 92 points. On average, the Trojans are scoring 35 points per game on 450 yards per game while allowing 32 points per game on 402 yards. The defense looks very susceptible right now, so Troy will be counting on quarterback Kaleb Barker to perform. On the season, Barker has thrown for 1,476 yards with 14 touchdowns and four interceptions.
10-16-19 | Maple Leafs v. Capitals -115 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 46 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Capitals -115 With a pair of losses in either record, the Maple Leafs (4-2-1, 9 points) and Capitals (3-2-2, 8 points) are set for a clash in the nation’s capital tonight. After giving up seven goals to the Lightning a week ago to mark the team’s third-straight loss, Toronto recovered well enough to earn victories over Detroit and Minnesota. In their past two games, the Maple Leafs have outscored their opponents 9-4. On average, the Maple Leafs are scoring 4.00 goals per game while allowing 3.29 goals per game. Center Auston Matthews leads Toronto with seven goals through the team’s first seven games, and center Mitch Marner has already racked up three goals and six assists for a team-high nine points. Washington’s four losses, two of which came in overtime, have been separated by just a single win over Dallas a few days ago. On average, the Capitals are scoring 3.14 goals per game while allowing 3.29 goals per game. Defenseman John Carlson has been great for the Capitals so far, earning nine assists on top of two goals for a team-high 11 points. Not surprisingly, Alex Ovechkin leads Washington with five goals.
10-15-19 | Predators +120 v. Golden Knights | Top | 5-2 | Win | 120 | 15 h 4 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Predators +120 Using a strong power play, the Golden Knights (4-2-0, 8 points) have jumped near the top of the pack in the Pacific Division. They’ll hope to continue their momentum as they host the Predators (3-2-0, 6 points) in Vegas tonight. Both teams last took the ice against the L.A. Kings. While Nashville took the 7-4 loss in Los Angeles, the Golden Knights were able to earn a 5-2 victory the next day. The Predators are getting used to high-scoring affairs, with an average of nearly nine goals per contest. Nashville is relying on offense by scoring 4.60 goals per game while allowing 4.20 goals per game. Vegas has been better defensively, but not quite as proficient as the Predators on the offensive end of the ice. On average, the Golden Knights are scoring 4.00 goals per game while allowing 2.33 goals per game. Coming off one more day of rest than their opponent tonight, Nashville will be hoping for continued production from center Matt Duchene and center Filip Forsberg. While Duchene leads the team with nine points on two goals and seven assists, Forsberg is the team’s leading goal scorer with four. The Preds will need to limit Vegas on the power play after the Golden Knights scored on all three power play opportunities against the Kings.
10-15-19 | Celtics v. Cavs +4.5 | Top | 118-95 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 32 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Cavs +4½ -110 Through three preseason games, the Celtics (3-0) have failed to lose a single contest. Tonight, the Celtics will go into Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers (1-2) for the second-straight game. Game by game, Boston has scored 107, 100, and 118 points against the Hornets, Magic, and Cavs. Meanwhile, Cleveland has scored 120, 105, and 72 against San Lorenzo, Detroit, and Boston. In Sunday’s matchup between these two squads, a 37-9 second quarter put the game out of reach for Cleveland before the halftime break. On the way to a 118-72 blowout, Boston outscored the Cavs in every single quarter of play. The Cavaliers can’t be much worse from the three-point line. The five Cleveland starters went a combined 1-for-22 from beyond the arc. So, of a potential 66 points, the starter alone left 63 points on the floor. Sindarius Thornwell was Cleveland’s best player, scoring 12 points and bringing down five rebounds in 17 minutes. Thornwell wasn’t all that far off from matching the combined point total of all five starters, who managed just 21 points on a horrid shooting night. The Celtics, who received double-digit scoring nights from three starters and three subs, should be expecting tougher competition from a Cavaliers team that would struggle to shoot worse than they did a few nights ago.
10-14-19 | Lions +4 v. Packers | Top | 22-23 | Win | 100 | 33 h 6 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Lions +4 -110 As a favorite in the NFC, the Packers (4-1) will be aiming to defend their home field as they host the Lions (2-1-1) in Green Bay this evening. Detroit, who is coming off a bye week, only lost by four to a strong Kansas City team. Before that, the Lions took down the Chargers and Eagles in consecutive weeks. On average, Detroit is scoring 24 points per game on 401 yards of offense while allowing 24 points per game on 418 yards. Green Bay was victorious against the Cowboys a week ago, but fell to the Eagles at home the week before. On average, the Packers are scoring 24 points per game on 354 yards of offense while allowing 19 points per game on 397 yards. Although underdogs, the Lions have won four straight against the Packers, including last year’s 31-0 slaughter at Lambeau. Aaron Rodgers is on a four-game streak of throwing for at least 300 yards on Monday Night Football, but he’ll be without his top target, Davonte Adams, who remains sidelined with turf toe. Through four games, Matthew Stafford has thrown for 1,122 yards, nine touchdowns, and two picks.
10-14-19 | Cardinals +123 v. Nationals | Top | 1-8 | Loss | -100 | 12 h 17 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Cardinals +123 It’s time for a vital Game 3 of the NLCS as the Nationals (93-69) aim to extend their 2-0 series lead over the Cardinals (91-71) tonight in Washington D.C. Through two games, St. Louis has managed to score just a single run. With 2-0 and 3-1 wins, the Nationals haven’t been much better offensively, but they’ve been able to overwhelm the Cardinals’ bats in the first two games in St. Louis. Hoping to claim their first win of the series, the Cardinals will send out right-hander Jack Flaherty (11-8, 2.75 ERA) to start. Flaherty earned the win in Game 5 of the NLDS matchup against the Braves, but there was little pressure after his lineup racked up 10 runs in the top of the first inning. Still, Flaherty only allowed a single run in six innings. The Nationals are seeking series dominance, and they’ll be confident with right-hander Stephen Strasburg (18-6, 3.32 ERA) on the mound. Strasburg now has a 1.32 ERA in six career postseason games, but he did give up a pair of home runs in Game 5 of the NLDS. For the Cardinals, Paul Goldschmidt is the man to watch. In the postseason, Goldschmidt is batting .345 with four doubles and two homers.
10-14-19 | Stars -105 v. Sabres | Top | 0-4 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 19 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Stars -105 The Stars (1-4-1, 3 points) have a tough task in front of them as they go into Buffalo to take on a hot Sabres (4-0-1, 9 points) team that’s earned points in every one of their first five games. Dallas may be happy to be on the road, where they earned their lone victory of the season against Washington a week ago. Since then, the Stars have lost two straight at home. On average, the Stars are scoring 2.17 goals per game while allowing 3.00 goals per game. Left winger Roope Hintz has been the most productive player on the Dallas roster. Thus far, Hintz has scored four goals and added an assist for five points. Buffalo sits atop the Atlantic Division after back-to-back wins over Montreal and Florida. On average, the Sabres are scoring 4.00 goals per game and giving up 2.60 goals per game. Center Jack Eichel leads the team with seven points on three goals and four assists. Right winger Victor Olofsson is Buffalo’s leading goal-scorer with four. The Stars should be able to get back on track if they improve the power play. Thus far, Dallas has scored on just one of 20 power play chances.

On average, the Sharks are scoring 2.00 goals per game while allowing 4.20 goals per game. Both Martin Jones and Aaron Dell have played in goal for San Jose. Dell has been the better of the two, saving 61 of 69 shots for a save percentage of .884. Defenseman Brent Burns leads the Sharks with two goals, three assists, and five total points.
10-13-19 | Yankees +148 v. Astros | Top | 2-3 | Loss | -100 | 12 h 50 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Yankees +148 It was a dominant performance by the Yankees (103-59) in Game 1 of the ALCS, but the Astros (107-55) are sending out one of the game’s best pitchers when these two clubs match up for Game 2 this evening. New York’s flawless postseason run extended into the second round when they erupted for seven runs while holding Houston scoreless. Gleybor Torres was the MVP of the game, batting in five runs on a 3-for-5 performance that included a solo shot. Perhaps the most surprising part of the game was New York’s ability to hold a good Astros lineup to no runs. Hoping to blank Houston again, the Yankees will send out left-hander James Paxton (15-6, 3.82 ERA) to start. In his first postseason outing, Paxton allowed three runs while striking out eight batters in 4 2/3 innings. In a June outing against the Astros, Paxton allowed just one run. For Houston, ace Justin Verlander (21-6, 2.58 ERA) is scheduled to start. Verlander holds a 2.92 ERA in the playoffs while wearing an Astros jersey, but he only lasted 3 2/3 innings in his last outing against the Rays on short rest.
10-13-19 | Bulls v. Raptors UNDER 224.5 | 105-91 | Win | 100 | 9 h 35 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Bulls/Raptors under224½ -109 The Bulls (0-3) have failed to earn a win in any one of their three preseason contests this far, but have another chance this evening when they go on the road to take on the Raptors (1-1). The over/under is set a 224.5 points. Although Chicago is yet to finish a game as the victors, they’ve scored 112 points or more in two of their three games. Only a 105-87 loss to Indiana has kept the Bulls from triple digits. In that loss to the Pacers, guard Coby White was the most prolific offensive player by a wide margin. With 24 points on 10-of-22 from the field and 4-of-9 from three, White led all scorers. White also managed to snag eight rebounds in his 30 minutes on the floor. The Raptors have played Houston twice in this preseason. In both games – a 134-129 win and a 118-111 loss – Toronto has easily reached triple digits. In the loss, four Raptors starters reach double-digit points. With five three-pointers, Norman Powell led the team with 22 points in just 22 minutes. Fred VanVleet earned a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists from the point guard position. Pascal Siakam added another 16 points, seven rebounds, and four assists, and Serge Ibaka added 12 points and eight boards.

The Magic scored at least 115 in their first two exhibition games before beating Atlanta 97-88 and losing to Boston 100-75. On average, Orlando is scoring 109 points per game through four games. Terrance Ross has been a standout player for the Magic in the preseason, and the game against the Celtics was no exception. While all five starters failed to reach double-digit points, Ross scored 21 points and earned a plus/minus of +10.
10-13-19 | Seahawks v. Browns OVER 46 | Top | 32-28 | Win | 100 | 28 h 57 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Seahawks/Browns over46 -110 With just one loss so far this season, the Seahawks (4-1) will head into Cleveland to take on the Browns (2-3) on Sunday afternoon. The over/under is set at 46 points. It’s been an impressive start to the season for a Seattle team that’s only lost to New Orleans. The Seahawks are coming off back-to-back victories over the Cardinals and Rams, leaving them trailing only the undefeated 49ers in the NFC West. On average, the Seahawks are scoring 27 points per game on 404 yards of offense behind the arm of MVP-candidate Russell Wilsons, while allowing 24 points per game on 363 yards. In the first five games of the 2019 NFL season, Wilson has thrown for 1,400 yards with 12 touchdowns and zero interceptions – the first QB to do so in the Super Bowl era. After an offseason full of hype, the Browns have failed to string together a pair of wins in the first five weeks of the season. Most recently, Cleveland was drubbed on Monday Night Football in a 31-3 loss to San Francisco. On average, the Browns are scoring 18 points per game on 365 yards of offense while allowing 24 points per game on 379 yards. Baker Mayfield is carrying a dreadful touchdown-to-interception ratio into this matchup. Mayfield has thrown for 1,247 yards, four touchdowns, and eight picks.
10-12-19 | Flames +130 v. Golden Knights | Top | 2-6 | Loss | -100 | 15 h 38 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Flames +130 Thus far, the Flames (2-1-1, 5 points) and Golden Knights (2-2-0, 4 points) are neck and neck with each other as they try to keep up with Edmonton and Anaheim in the Pacific Division. In a late game, the Flames and Knights will face off in Vegas. Calgary has alternated wins and losses through five contests, most recently defeating Dallas in a 3-2 game. On average, the Flames are scoring and allowing 2.75 goals per game. Left winger Johnny Gaudreau has been the biggest contributor for this Calgary team, scoring two goals and racking up four assists for one more point than games played. Vegas kicked off the season with a pair of wins over San Jose, but have had a tougher time since then. In their past two games, the Golden Knights have been outscored 8-4 in two losses to Boston and Phoenix. On average, Vegas is scoring 3.25 goals per game while allowing 2.50 goals per game. Matching Calgary’s Gaudreau, right winger Mark Stone has contributed six points on two goals and four assists for Vegas. Right winger Reilly Smith leads the team with three goals.
10-12-19 | Coyotes v. Avalanche -155 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 13 h 25 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Avalanche -155 The Avalanche (3-0-0, 6 points) have a flawless record through three games of the season. Tonight, they’ll try to make it 4-for-4 when they host the Coyotes (1-2-0, 2 points) in Colorado. Phoenix recovered from a winless start with a 4-1 win over Vegas in their most recent game. As a whole, the Coyotes have struggled to score goals. On average, Phoenix is scoring 1.67 goals per game while allowing 1.33 goals per game. With 89 saves on 93 shots against, Phoenix goaltender Darcy Kuemper has allowed just four goals with a save percentage of .957. The Coyotes will likely need more offense to take down Colorado, who’s aiming to end a season-opening four-game homestand with a perfect record. In three games, the Avalanche have scored a total of 13 goals. On average, Colorado is scoring 4.33 goals per game and allowing 2.33 goals per game. Right winger Mikko Rantanen has already contributed five points with three goals and two assists. This matchup will likely come down to a speedy Colorado team with a strong top line versus the solid defense of a Coyotes team that’s allowed just four goals in three games.
10-12-19 | Yankees +145 v. Astros | Top | 7-0 | Win | 145 | 13 h 7 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Yankees +145 In a classic matchup of power versus pitching, the Yankees (103-59) are set for Game 1 of the ALCS against the Astros (107-55) in Houston. Offensively, New York was the best team in baseball throughout the season with 943 runs scored in the regular season. With 306 home runs, the Yankees trailed only Minnesota by one. But don’t forget about the well-balanced Astros lineup that scored 920 runs this year (3rd in MLB). Houston entered the postseason with one of the most daunting playoff rotations in memory. In addition to Zack Greinke, who went 8-1 with a 3.02 ERA since being acquired at the trade deadline, the Astros can call on Justin Verlander (21-6, 2.58 ERA) and Gerrit Cole (20-5, 2.50 ERA). For the Yankees, right-hander Masahiro Tanaka (11-9, 4.45 ERA) gets the start. With a bullpen full of big arms, Tanaka will be happy with a repeat of his ALDS performance against the Twins in which he pitched five innings with seven strikeouts and allowed one earned run on three hits. Right-hander Zack Greinke (18-5, 2.93 ERA) is set to start for the Astros. Greinke started the Game 3 loss to the Rays, allowing three home runs and six total runs over just 3 2/3 innings.

Last week’s heartbreaking, 43-37 triple-overtime loss to #24 SMU dropped Tulsa to 0-2 against ranked opponents after having already lost to #18 Michigan State in the first game of the year. In the team’s other three games, Tulsa scored between 21 and 34 points. On average, Tulsa scores 25 points per game on 390 yards of offense while allowing 30 points per game on 390 yards. 50* Powerhouse Play on Red Wings +165 Despite playing one fewer game than the Maple Leafs (2-2-1, 5 points), the Red Wings (3-1-0, 6 points) have one more point on the season. Tonight, these two teams will face off in Detroit. Toronto is coming off three straight losses, one of which came in overtime. Their most recent game was a 7-3 beating at the hands of a strong Lightning team. On paper, Toronto looks like a perfectly average team in this young season. On average, the Maple Leafs score 3.80 goals per game and allow 3.80 goals per game. Center Auston Matthews has been the leading man for Toronto through five games, earning seven points on six goals and an assist. Detroit is fresh off a 4-2 victory over Montreal, and now sits behind only Buffalo in the Atlantic Division. It’s been a strong start to the season for the Red Wings, who are currently scoring 3.50 goals per game while allowing 2.75 goals per game, on average. Already with six goals and two assists, Anthony Mantha leads the Red Wings with eight points from the right wing position.

50* Powerhouse Play on Connecticut/Tulane under58½ -110 A seemingly lopsided American Athletic Conference matchup pits the UConn Huskies (1-4) against the Tulane Green Wave (4-1). The over/under is set at 58.5 points. UConn started off the year with a 24-21 win over Wagner, but has lost four straight since then. On average, the Green Wave is scoring 37 points per game on 468 yards while allowing 22 points per game on 244 yards. While BYU defeated#24 USC in overtime, they lost to both #22 Washington and #14 Utah in lopsided matchups. On average, BYU is scoring 22 points a game on 376 yards of offense while allowing 31 points a game on 432 yards. With starting quarterback Zach Wilson sidelined until December, the Cougars will have to send out freshman Jaren Hall, who is 4-for-7 for 58 yards so far this season. The BYU rush defense is ranked 119th in the nation. Unlike the Cougars, South Florida is coming off a win. Last week, the Bulls defeated UConn by a score of 48-22. Against three good opponents - #19 Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, and SMU – USF is winless. On average, the Bulls are scoring 27 points per game on 344 yards of offense while allowing 30 points per game on 372 yards. The USF defense currently ranks 93rd in the country, and the offense is a mediocre 85th overall.
10-12-19 | Florida State v. Clemson -27 | 14-45 | Win | 100 | 28 h 44 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Clemson -27 -109 The undefeated #2 Clemson Tigers (5-0) have an ACC matchup against the Florida State Seminoles (3-2) in South Carolina on Saturday. After a rough 1-2 start that included losses to Boise State and #25 Virginia, Florida State has won two straight games against Louisville and NC State. With 582 yards, seven touchdowns, and 5.1 yards per carry, running back Cam Akers leads this Florida State offense. Akers will need to be great against Clemson if FSU will have a chance, as the Seminoles have lost nine of their last 10 games against ranked opponents. Clemson is coming off a narrow 21-20 victory over North Carolina, but has stayed perfect through five games despite losing #1 overall status. The Tigers have scored at least 41 points against Georgia Tech, Syracuse, and Charlotte. On average, the Tigers are scoring 38 points per game on 486 yards of offense while giving up 12 points per game on just 255 yards. Although neither team has played yet in the month of October, FSU figures to face the toughest task up against a Clemson defense that’s had extra time to prepare for the Seminoles.
10-12-19 | Cincinnati v. Houston UNDER 52 | 38-23 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 32 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Cincinnati/Houston under52 -110 The newly ranked #25 Cincinnati Bearcats (4-1) are headed on the road this weekend to take on the Houston Cougars (2-3). The over/under is set at 52 points. Other than a 42-0 rout at the hands of #5 Ohio State, the Bearcats have looked very strong. On the resume, Cincinnati can point to wins over UCLA and #18 UCF. On average, the Bearcats are scoring 28 points per game on 395 yards of offense while allowing 21 points per game on 322 yards. This will be Cincinnati’s third road game of the year. Other than a blowout against an inferior Marshall team, the Bearcats didn’t’ even manage a single point in the team’s other road game, which came against the Buckeyes. Houston started out with a tough matchup against #4 Oklahoma to kick off the season. That 49-31 loss was followed up by a win, but losses to #20 Washington State and Tulane further hindered a team that no longer has starting quarterback D’Eriq King under center after the player decided to redshirt. On average, Houston is scoring 34 points per game on 409 yards of offense while allowing 32 points per game on 492 yards. Without King, Clayton Tune leads the team form the QB spot. On the season, Tune is 16 of 20 for 124 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. The Cougars didn’t need Tune to lead with his arm in the team’s last contest, but they’ll need him to be more prolific against Cincinnati.

100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Mississippi State/Tennessee over52 -110 Neither the Mississippi State Bulldogs (3-2) or Tennessee Volunteers (1-4) have enjoyed a successful season thus far. This year will get a bit worse for one program on Saturday when these teams match up in an SEC contest. The over/under is set at 52 points. Mississippi State suffered losses at the hands of Kansas State and #7 Auburn, but beat Kentucky 29-13 a few weeks ago. To start the season, the Bulldogs put up 38 points in two straight games. On average, Mississippi State is scoring 30 points per game on 398 yards of offense while allowing 29 points per game on 401 yards. The rushing game of Mississippi State is led by running back Kylin Hill and quarterback Garrett Shrader. While Hill has rushed for 596 yards and five touchdowns, Shrader has racked up 312 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Tennessee has struggled all year, including recent losses to #9 Florida and #3 Georgia. But including a 45-0 win over Chattanooga, the Volunteers have scored at least 26 on three occasions. Defensively, Tennessee has allowed 29 points or more in four of their five games. On average, the Volunteers are scoring 24 points per game on 352 yards of offense while allowing 29 points per game on 377 yards. Tennessee will look to get the ball into Jauan Jennings’ hands. Through five games, Jennings has caught 26 passes for 395 yards and five touchdowns.
10-11-19 | Nationals +115 v. Cardinals | Top | 2-0 | Win | 115 | 11 h 56 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Nationals +115 It took five games for both the Nationals (93-69) and Cardinals (91-71) to take care of business in their respective NLDS series. Tonight, these two clubs begin the NLCS in St. Louis. A 10-inning thriller over the Dodgers earned Washington a spot in this NLCS. The Nationals have been led by Anthony Rendon and his 7-for-20 NLDS performance that included a home run and five RBIs. Ryan Zimmerman added another homer and three RBIs, and Juan Soto hit two homers with six RBIs. St. Louis took down Atlanta with a record-setting first inning in Game 5. Both Marcell Ozuna and Paul Goldschmidt have launched two home runs for the Cardinals in the postseason. The visiting Nationals will start right-hander Anibal Sanchez (11-8, 3.85 ERA). In Game 3 of the NLDS, Sanchez gave up one run while striking out nine in five innings against the Dodgers. In his lone start against St. Louis this season, Sanchez allowed three runs in five innings. Right-hander Miles Mikolas (9-14, 4.16 ERA) takes the mound for the Cardinals. Mikolas started Game 1 of the NLDS, allowing one run over five innings against the Braves. In a mid-September start against the Nats, Mikolas gave up three runs over six innings.
10-11-19 | Virginia v. Miami-FL -2 | Top | 9-17 | Win | 100 | 11 h 44 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Miami-FL -2 -110 A good Friday night matchup pits #20 Virginia (4-1) against unranked Miami (2-3) in Florida. Despite the losing record, Miami is favored by two points in this contest. The Virginia Cavaliers earned ranked status with wins over Florida State and Pittsburgh, but are coming off a 35-20 loss to #10 Notre Dame. On average, Virginia is scoring 32 points on 363 yards of offense while allowing 21 points on 275 yards. One hurdle Virginia will have to overcome is the lack of back-to-back ACC road wins since 2011. In the Notre Dame loss, Virginia’s lack of running game was exposed. Against the Irish, the Cavaliers racked up just 29 yards rushing as a team. Miami has enjoyed little success under head coach Manny Diaz. Other than a 63-0 explosion against Bethune Cookman, the Hurricanes have failed to impress on offense. Losses to #8 Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia Tech have set Miami back this season. However, it’s worth noting that seven points is the widest margin by which Miami has lost all season. On average, the Hurricanes are scoring 32 points on 448 yards of offense while allowing 21 points on 283 yards.

In three games, Florida has allowed 14 total goals. In losses to Tampa Bay and Carolina, the Panthers allowed a total of 11 goals. On average, Florida is scoring 3.00 goals per game while allowing 4.67 goals per game. On the bright side, the Panthers are getting great production from left winger Mike Hoffman, who leads the team with six points on four goals and two assists. The Sabres have taken points from every contest this year, including a 4-3 overtime loss to Columbus. Most recently, Buffalo defeated Montreal by a score of 5-4. On average, the Sabres are scoring 4.50 goals per game while allowing 2.75 goals per game. With seven points, center Jack Eichel leads the team with three goals and four assists. Through four games, right winger Victor Olofsson is the Sabres’ leading goal-scorer with four.

In Cleveland’s win, the team got at least 12 points from Cedi Osman (12 points), Tristan Thompson (14 points), Larry Nance Jr. (15 points), Jordan Clarkson (17 points), and Kevin Porter Jr. (16 points). 10-11-19 | Celtics v. Magic OVER 215 | 100-75 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 31 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Celtics/Magic over215 -110 Although it may not mean anything when the regular season begins, both the Celtics (1-0) and Magic (3-0) have started off the preseason with flawless records. With an over/under of 215, these two teams will face off this evening. The over/under is set at 215 points. Boston has played just one game thus far, winning by a single point over Charlotte in a 107-106 contest. 50* Powerhouse Play on Nuggets/Clippers over226 -110 The Clippers (1-1) are set to play host to the visiting Nuggets (1-0) in Los Angeles tonight. The over/under is set at 226 points. In the latter game, Maurice Harkless led Los Angeles in scoring with 16 points in just 12 minutes. Jeff Green went 5-for-10 from the field to put up 13 points. After the game against Los Angeles, the Nuggets will play Phoenix and Portland again before kicking off the regular season against Portland on October 23rd. Before the Clippers start the season against the Lakers on October 22nd, they’ll face Melbourne and Dallas after this Nuggets game. Although Kawhi Leonard will not play against Denver, both teams have the potential to score 115 points or more.
10-10-19 | Suns v. Kings OVER 229 | Top | 88-105 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 31 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Suns/Kings over229 -110 The Suns (1-0) and Kings (0-2) will continue their respective marches towards the 2019-20 season with a preseason matchup in Sacramento. The over/under is set at 229 points. Phoenix kicked off preseason action with a 11-106 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves two nights ago. In 21 minutes on the floor, DeAndre Ayton led all Suns with 18 points and 13 rebounds in the game. Frank Kaminsky came off the bench to score 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field. The Suns are likely to continue giving solid minutes to their starters with just three preseason games remaining before competitive play kicks off. The Kings started the preseason with two losses to the Pacers, but they scored 131 points in one of them. The most recent contest was a 130-106 game. In 28 minutes, Buddy Hield led the Kings with 17 points, and added five rebounds and five assists. Marvin Bagley III scored 15 points and reeled in six boards. Yogi Ferrell was the best player from the bench, scoring 12 points with four assists. Sacramento has allowed an average of 131 points between its two games thus far, so Phoenix should have little trouble offensively.
10-10-19 | Sharks v. Blackhawks -110 | Top | 5-4 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 34 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Blackhawks -110 While the Blackhawk (0-1-0, 0 points) have played just one game, the Sharks (0-4-0, 0 points) have already played four. Between the two, you won’t find a single point. Tonight, these squads will go head to head in Chicago. San Jose has managed to score more than a single goal in just one of their first four games, which was a 5-2 loss to Nashville. In a pair of losses to Vegas and another to Anaheim, the Sharks haven’t finished any game within a goal of the opponent. On average, San Jose is scoring 1.25 goals per game and allowing 4.25 goals per contest. Through a rough four-game start, defenseman Brent Burns leads the Sharks with three points on one goal and two assists. No San Jose player has more than one goal to his name thus far. After signing Patrick Marleau to a one-year deal, the Sharks could have the team’s leading career goal scorer (508) and points leader (1,082) on the ice. The Blackhawks’ lone game of the season ended as a one-goal loss to Philadelphia in the Czech Republic. Six days have passed since that season opener, so Chicago should be well rested. Right-winger Patrick Kane has gotten off to a hot start, already having scored one goal and notching two assists to rack up three points in a single game of action.
10-10-19 | Giants v. Patriots UNDER 42 | Top | 14-35 | Loss | -110 | 35 h 20 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Giants/Patriots under42 -110 The NFL’s perennial powerhouse takes the stage on Thursday Night Football as the undefeated Patriots (5-0) play host to the Giants (2-3) in New England. The over/under is set at 42 points. New York dropped the first two games of the season, but has gone 3-1 with rookie quarterback Daniel Jones under center. However, the Giants are coming off a 28-10 loss at the hands of Minnesota. On average, the Giants are scoring 19 points per game on 379 yards of offense. Going up against a New England defense that’s allowed just 34 total points through five games, expect New York to struggle. Thus far, Jones is 70 of 109 for 760 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions. And although there was hope among the Giants organization that Saquon Barkley could return for this matchup, it’s unlikely that their star running back will play. While the Patriots haven’t played the toughest schedule in the world through five weeks of play, they did take down the otherwise undefeated Bills by a score of 16-10. On average, the Pats are scoring 31 points per game while sporting the league’s best defense, which allows just under seven points per game. Quarterback Tom Brady is coming off a 348-yard, three-TD, one-interception game against the Redskins, but was held to just 150 yards with no touchdowns and one pick against the Bills.
10-10-19 | Capitals v. Predators -130 | 5-6 | Win | 100 | 11 h 29 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Predators -130 While the Capitals (2-0-2, 6 points) have earned at least one point in every contest this year, the Predators (2-1-0, 4 points) have failed to do so just once. Tonight, these two teams face off in Nashville. Washington followed up one-goal wins over the Blues and Islanders with one-goal, overtime losses to the Hurricanes and Stars. On average, the Capitals are scoring 2.50 goals per game and allowing 2.50 goals per game. John Carlson leads Washington with five total points on one goal and four assists. T.J. Oshie has added another two goals and one assist to start the season. The Capitals trail only the undefeated Carolina Hurricanes in the Metropolitan Division. Meanwhile, the Predators are third in the Central Division, looking up at both St. Louis and Colorado. A pair of 5-2 wins over Minnesota and San Jose has been separated by a 5-3 loss to Detroit for the Preds. Offensively, Nashville has gotten out to a hot start with 4.33 goals per game through three contests. On average, the Predators are allowing 3.00 goals per game. With six points on six assists, center Matt Duchene leads the Predators with an average of two points per game. Filip Forsberg leads Nashville with three goals.
10-10-19 | Syracuse v. NC State UNDER 55.5 | Top | 10-16 | Win | 100 | 35 h 47 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Syracuse/NC State under55½ -110 Identical records will face off when the NC State Wolfpack (3-2) host the Syracuse Orange (3-2) on Thursday night. The over/under is set at 55.5 points. Although Syracuse allowed just three total points in games against Liberty and Holy Cross, they were pummeled to the tune of 104 total points against Maryland and #1 Clemson. On average, Syracuse scores 29 points per game on 385 yards of offense while allowing 28 points per game on 438 yards. Quarterback Tommy DeVito leads the Orange with 1,234 yards, 11 touchdowns, and five interceptions. DeVito’s biggest weapon is receiver Trishton Jackson, who’s caught 24 balls for 393 yards and five touchdowns. NC State has failed to rise up against their quality opponents so far this year, losing to both FSU and West Virginia. On the bright side, the Wolfpack have allowed just 29 total points against their other three opponents. On average, NC State is scoring 30 points per game on 431 yards of offense while allowing 21 points per game on 321 yards. Bailey Hockman is expected to start at quarterback for the Wolfpack. So far, Hockman has thrown for 255 yards, one touchdown, and one interception on 50 attempts. Both Hockman and DeVito are coming off injuries, so neither starting spot is set in stone.
10-10-19 | Rays v. Astros -260 | Top | 1-6 | Win | 100 | 12 h 7 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Astros -260 The Astros (107-55) entered the postseason as the favorites to win the World Series. If they’re going to make it to the ALCS to face the Yankees, they’ll first need to win a Game 5 against the Rays (96-66) in Houston. This ALDS matchup started according to plan for Houston, who jumped out to a 2-0 series lead after outscoring Tampa Bay 9-3 through the first two games. 10-3 and 4-1 losses in Tampa Bay forced a fifth and final game, but the Astros will be happy this one’s at home, where they’ve gone 60-21 on the season. The away team in this matchup is likely to use multiple arms against the Astros, as the Rays have found success with that formula. However, right-hander Tyler Glasnow (6-1, 1.78 ERA) will get the start. Glasnow will be pitching on an extra day of rest, but he was beaten up in Game 1, allowing a two-run shot to Jose Altuve and allowing four hits over 4 1/3 innings of Game 1. Right-hander Gerrit Cole (20-5, 2.50 ERA) gets the start for Houston. Cole was dominant in Game 2, striking out 15 batters over 7 2/3 innings. Cole entered the series with an 0-2 record and 3.51 ERA in four career starts against the Rays, but the star right-hander is now unbeaten over his last 23 starts.
10-09-19 | Jazz v. Bucks -2.5 | Top | 99-133 | Win | 100 | 10 h 28 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Bucks -2½ -110 As the Utah Jazz (1-0) and Milwaukee Bucks (1-0) prepare to kick of the 2019-20 NBA regular season, they’ll face off against one another this evening. Both teams won their preseason opener. The Jazz began their preseason campaign with a 133-81 win over the Adelaide 36ers. Center Tony Bradley led the team with 18 points and a plus/minus of +30. Jeff Green added 16 points in 18 minutes of play. The Bucks kicked off the preseason with a 122-112 win over the Chicago Bulls. The Lopez brothers each played 19 minutes. Robin Lopez ended the game with 14 points and five rebounds while Brook Lopez racked up 13 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Utah will go into this game with several players on the injured list. Donovan Mitchell, Dante Exum, and Rudy Gobert are all listed as day-to-day at this point in time, with no reason with risk their health in a preseason game. While Giannis Antetokounmpo, Eric Bledsoe, and Khris Middleton didn’t see action in the first preseason game, coach Mike Budenholzer has intimated those players are likely to get action in this game. The Jazz will play New Orleans, Sacramento, and Portland before getting the regular season underway. The Bucks have Dallas, Washington, and Minnesota remaining on their preseason schedule.
10-09-19 | Appalachian State v. UL-Lafayette OVER 68.5 | Top | 17-7 | Loss | -109 | 31 h 5 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Appalachian State/UL-Lafayette over68½ -109 You’ll only find one loss between the records of both the Appalachian State Mountaineers (4-0) and Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin Cajuns (4-1). The over/under is set at 68.6 points as these two teams get set to face off Wednesday night. The jewel in Appalachian State’s arsenal of wins is a 34-31 win over North Carolina on September 21st. On average, the Mountaineers are scoring 47 points per game on 429 yards of offense while allowing 29 points per game on 420 yards. Appalachian State has scored 56 points in two contests this year, thanks in large part to running back Darrynton Evans. In four games, Evans has racked up 471 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground, and is averaging seven yards per rush. The Ragin Cajuns’ sole loss of the season came against Mississippi State in the season opener by a score of 38-28. Now, UL-Lafayette is on a four-game winning streak that includes a 77-6 victory over Texas Southern. On average, the Ragin Cajuns are scoring 44 points per game on 540 yards of offense while allowing 21 points per game on 345 yards. Lafayette can boast a pair of rushers over 400 yards on the ground. Elijah Mitchell has rushed for 402 yards and nine touchdowns. Trey Ragas has rushed for 548 yards and six touchdowns while averaging 9.8 yards per carry. While both offenses are used to scoring plenty of points, the Appalachian State defense has allowed between 31 and 41 points in each of their last three games while Lafayette has allowed 24 and 25 points in their last two.
10-09-19 | Canadiens v. Sabres -110 | Top | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 11 h 29 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Sabres -110 With the benefit of playing one more game than tonight’s opponent, the Buffalo Sabres (2-0-1, 5 points) sit two points ahead of the Montreal Canadiens (1-0-1, 3 points) in the Atlantic Division. Tonight, the Sabres will host the Canadiens. Montreal opened the season with a 4-3 OT loss to Carolina before beating Toronto by a score of 6-5. Buffalo is coming off a one-goal loss to the Blue Jackets, but they opened the season with a win over Pittsburgh before exploding for seven goals in a victory over New Jersey. Goalie Carey Price is allowing 3.69 goals per game with a .900 save percentage for the Canadiens, but it’s backup goaltender Keith Kinkaid who will make his season debut tonight. Carter Hutton has been in goal for Buffalo’s two wins, allowing an average of 1.50 goals with a save percentage of .939. With one goals and two assists, Brendan Gallagher leads the Canadiens. Defenseman Rasmus Dahlin leads the Sabres with one goal and four assists. Buffalo won three of four contests against the Canadiens last season, two of which ended in overtime. Look for Jeff Skinner, who scored seven points on four goals and three assists against Montreal last year.
10-09-19 | Cardinals -110 v. Braves | Top | 13-1 | Win | 100 | 10 h 2 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Cardinals -110 There’s a winner-take-all affair taking place this late afternoon in Atlanta as the Braves (97-65) host the Cardinals (91-71) in Game 5 of this NLDS matchup. After dropping Game 1 in a 13-run game after being outscored 4-3 in the ninth inning, the Braves responded by winning the next two games and allowing only a single total run. Game 4 was decided by just one run in extra innings as Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina tied the game on a clutch, eighth-inning hit before winning the game in the 10th with a sacrifice fly. Throughout the series, Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. has been the best player in series. In four games, Acuna Jr. is 8-for-16 with three doubles, a triple, and a homer. 23-year-old Jack Flaherty (11-8, 2.75 ERA) is expected to start Game 5 for the Cardinals. The St. Louis right-hander pitched Game 2 of the series, holding the Braves to three runs over seven innings. In two regular season games against Atlanta this year, Flaherty allowed just three runs over 12 total innings. The Braves are expected to send out Mike Foltynewicz (8-5, 4.54 ERA) for his second start of the series. In seven career starts against St. Louis, Foltynewicz is 3-4 with a 7.64 ERA, but he tossed that seven-inning, three-hit, scoreless gem earlier this series.
10-08-19 | Bruins +130 v. Golden Knights | Top | 4-3 | Win | 130 | 15 h 5 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Bruins +130 We’re only a few games into the 2019-20 season, but we can still enjoy a matchup between two undefeated teams as the Boston Bruins (2-0-0, 4 points) go into Vegas to take on the Golden Knights (2-0-0, 4 points). Thus far, the strength of the Bruins has been the defense. Through two games, Boston has held opponents to just one total goal while scoring three goals of their own. Now, the Bruins will play their third-straight away game to start the season. The Golden Knights have looked good on both sides of the game in their two contests against San Jose. Allowing just one goal in each game, Marc-Andre Fleury has a .965 save percentage so far. And with nine total goals in two games, Vegas looks good on the attack as well. Coming off a Stanly Cup Finals Game 7 loss to the Blues, Boston aims to stay perfect against an opponent they’ve defeated in three of the last four matchups. Although Vegas has been scoring more goals so far this season, Boston was slightly better in that phase of the game a year ago. While the Bruins ranked 11th with 3.13 goals per game in 2018-19, the Golden Knights ranked 13th with 3.00 goals per game.
10-08-19 | Hurricanes +115 v. Panthers | 6-3 | Win | 115 | 12 h 38 m | Show
50* Powerhouse Play on Hurricanes +115 The Carolina Hurricanes (3-0-0, 6 points) have gotten off to a lightning-fast start, and they’ll aim to continue that momentum on the road as they take on the Panthers (1-1-0, 2 points) in Florida. While the Hurricanes are currently the top team in the Metropolitan Division, the Panthers are ahead of only winless Ottawa in the Atlantic Division. Coming off a 4-3 win over the Lightning, Carolina has scored either three or four goals in every game of this young season. The defense has been good enough, as the Hurricanes haven’t allowed more than three goals in any game. Despite winning all three matchups thus far, each contest has been decided by a single goal. In fact, every Carolina game has gone to overtime, with one being decided in a shootout. Florida has a tough schedule to start the season, having this Carolina game on the heels of back-to-back contests versus Tampa Bay, who led the NHL in scoring by a wide margin last year. However, the Panthers followed up a 5-2 loss on the road with a 4-3 home victory on Saturday. Center Erik Haula has now scored in each of the first three games after coming over from the Vegas Golden Knights. Before a 15-game season marred by injury last year, Haula scored a career-high 29 goals the year prior.
10-07-19 | Yankees -140 v. Twins | Top | 5-1 | Win | 100 | 14 h 40 m | Show |
100* Sharp Money Syndicate Play on Yankees -140 If the Yankees (103-59) are going to sweep in the Twins (101-61) in the ALDS, they’ll have to do so in Minnesota as these teams get set for Game 3. Through the first two games of the playoff series, New York has scored a combined 18 runs while giving up six. Thus far, the Yankees are displaying their offensive prowess after finishing the regular season with the most runs scored (943 runs), while suppressing the bats of the league’s second-best offense (939 runs). Hoping to further limit the Twins lineup will be Luis Severino (1-1, 1.50 ERA). Since missing most of the season with injuries, the Yankees right-hander got off to a hot start with nine scoreless innings before a more colorful third outing. In his lone career start at Target Field, Severino allowed one run on four hits over 5 2/3 innings in 2018. Right-hander Jake Odorizzi (15-7, 3.51 ERA) will start for the Twins with the season on the line. Over his last 10 starts, Odorizzi hasn’t allowed more than three earned runs. In 18 career appearances against New York, Odorizzi is 7-9 with a 4.71 ERA. Minnesota lacks a home-field advantage, having lost 10 of their last 11 home games in the divisional round of the playoffs. |
