Winnipeg is aiming to make history tonight. The Blue Bombers have a chance to become the first club in 42 years to three-peat in the CFL. They won it all in 2021 and 2019 and there was no game in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Looking to play spoiler are the Argos, who are hoping to earn their first Grey Cup since 2017. Historically, Grey Cups have gone in Toronto's favor. The organization owns the most Grey Cups (17) and has a 17-6 record in championship games. |

Ottawa v. Montreal UNDER 47.5 | | 24-18 |
Win | 100 | 7 h 15 m | Show |
A CFL team chasing a .500 record for most of the season, the Alouettes (7-7) can both clinch a playoff spot and a home post-season game with a Thanksgiving Day victory over the visiting Ottawa Redblacks (3-11). The Alouettes face a Redblacks team with an altered sideline. Coach Paul LaPolice was fired following a 34-19 loss to the B.C. Lions on Sept. 30. Special teams coordinator Bob Dyce assumed the interim role with four games remaining in the regular season. Redblacks quarterbacks coach Will Arndt will be calling the plays at Percival Molson Stadium. “The greatest thing that I want to do is that I want to make sure the players are in a position to be successful,” Dyce said. “I don’t want to rush into anything. I know we’re on a short time frame but I want to do things right for these four games. |
10-10-22 |
Ottawa +7 v. Montreal | | 24-18 |
Win | 100 | 6 h 8 m | Show |
The Alouettes, who are on a season-high three-game winning streak — and with victories in five of their last six — would clinch a home playoff date with a win, ensuring they can finish no lower than second in the East Division. William Stanback was the CFL’s leading rusher last season, along with the division nominee as the most outstanding player. But it appeared his season might be over — along with Montreal’s aspirations at the same time — when he suffered the horrific injury that required surgery on June 9 at Calgary. The best-case scenario had Stanback returning for the playoffs, and when Montreal started the season with a 2-6 record, that looked like a pipe dream. But the Alouettes’ fortunes have reversed, and the 28-year-old Stanback is returning slightly ahead of schedule with four games remaining. |
