Mets v. Diamondbacks -128 | | 3-6 |

This is a matchup between two teams who couldn't be headed in more opposite directions. The Mets are in a free fall that doesn't look like it will ever end, losing 10 of 11 and 17 of their last 21. The Mets Jason Vargas has pitched better of late but he is a max 5 innings pitcher and the bullpen is a dumpster fire. Arizona's Matt Koch has made 10 starts this season and only 3 bad outings. I like Arizona at home. Take The Diamondbacks. |

The fact the Brewers are such big dogs in this one is kind of a head scratcher. Cleveland pitcher Carlos Carrasco has been awful the last month of the season losing 3 of 4 while Cleveland is 2-5 in his last 7 starts. Milwaukee's Chase Anderson has been up and down this season but he has been better of late winning 3 of 4. The Brewers have been the better team overall this season and their bats will come alive against Carrasco and give Anderson enough to get the win. Take The Brewers |
06-05-18 |
Dodgers v. Pirates +111 | | 5-0 |
Loss | -100 | 6 h 1 m | Show |
The Dodgers Ross Stripling has pitched well since joining the starting rotation winning his last 3 starts. The team however, is only 3-2 in his starts and his last 2 were against dreadful teams. Pitching in Pittsburgh will be a different story as the Pirates offense is better than anything he's faced recently and pitcher Joe Musgrave has been lights out in first two starts of the season. Take The Pirates. |
06-05-18 |
Rockies -111 v. Reds | | 9-6 |
Win | 100 | 5 h 15 m | Show |
Getting a discount here as the Rockies were just embarrassed in a 3 game sweep to the Dodgers, given up 33 runs in 3 games. The Reds Anthony DeSclafani is making his first start in almost 2 years and the Rockies have won 6 of Kyle Freeland's 10 starts this season. Take The Rockies |

Loss | -170 | 21 h 44 m | Show |
Since starting the season slow with two bad starts CC Sabathia has been dominant turning in 5 quality starts in a row. Jakob Junis has been one of the few bright spots for this awful Kansas City team but the Yankee bats with a locked in CC will be too much. Take The Yankees. |
05-18-18 |
Orioles v. Red Sox -166 | | 7-4 |
Loss | -166 | 20 h 44 m | Show |
Drew Pomeranz may only be 1-1 on the season with an ERA over 5 but in games he's pitched Boston is 3-2 and have yet to give up over 4 runs. On the flip side to that Baltimore's Alex Cobb is 0-5 with an ERA over 7 and Baltimore is 0-6 in games he's started. Baltimore has given up 8 or more runs 4 times in games Cobb has started including 10 to the Red Sox on April 14th. The Red Sox bats take care of this game. Take The Boston. |
05-17-18 |
Rockies +132 v. Giants | Top | 5-3 |
Win | 132 | 21 h 18 m | Show |
This line doesn't make much sense to me as I believe the wrong team is favored. The Giants Jeff Samardzija hasn't pitched well in his last 4 starts since a very good season debut on April 20th. He is 1-2 with an ERA pushing 7 and has given up 5 runs in his last 2 starts. On the other side The Rockies give the ball to Chad Bettis who is 4-1 on the road this season giving up a total of 5 runs in those 5 starts. Take Colorado on the Money Line. |
05-17-18 |
Orioles v. Red Sox -161 | Top | 2-6 |
Win | 100 | 18 h 27 m | Show |
David Price started this season pitching like the second ace the Red Sox need if they want to win the AL East this season. He started 3-1 as the Sox raced to a historic start. The team fell back to Earth and Price was a main culprit losing 3 straight starts. In those 3 starts against Oakland, Tampa and Texas he gave up 19 earned runs. He was diagnosed with carpal tunnel and was skipped in the rotation followed by a quality start in a win vs Toronto. Against a bad Baltimore team, I expect Price to pitch a second consecutive good game and get the win. Take The Red Sox |

Cardinals -130 v. Twins | | 7-5 |
Win | 100 | 22 h 2 m | Show |
Not much was expected of The Cardinals Miles Mikolas this season as he had a losing record in 11 career starts heading in. Well, he is a big reason The Cardinals are right in the mix almost 2 months in the season. He is 5-0 with an ERA of 2.51 and 33 strikeouts to 3 walks. The Twins and Lance Lynn are clearly outmatched in this one. Take The Cardinals. |
05-15-18 |
White Sox v. Pirates -146 | | 0-7 |
Win | 100 | 19 h 34 m | Show |
The Pirates are one of the surprise teams in the National League this season and are only 1 game back in the Central. Theif pitching staff has been the main catalyst and Trevor Williams is a big reason why. Williams is 4-2 on the season with an ERA of just over 3 and the Pirates are 6-3 overall in games he starts. Chicago's Reynaldo Lopez has given up 4 or more runs in every start this season except 1. Take Pittsburgh. |

Pirates -133 v. White Sox | | 10-6 |
Win | 100 | 26 h 53 m | Show |
We are getting the Pirates at a fantastic number when we compare the starting pitchers and the teams overall. Pittsburgh's Ivan Nova looked awful in his last start getting crushed by the Nationals which is partly the reason the Pirates aren't favored by more. The White Sox are no Nationals and Giolito is a young pitcher who walks a lot of people and doesn't strike out nearly enough. Take The Pirates. |

Dodgers v. Diamondbacks -117 | | 5-2 |
Loss | -117 | 19 h 25 m | Show |
The Dodgers have been atrocious this season but the public still bets them religiously after all the money they made off them last season. So we are seeing getting some great numbers fading their slow start. Patrick Corbin has been one of the best pitchers in the National League thus far and you should have to lay -150 minimum in this matchup against Alex Wood who has been dreadful. This number is a gift I can't pass up. Take The Diamondbacks. |

Red Sox -195 v. Blue Jays | Top | 5-4 |
Win | 100 | 19 h 31 m | Show |
After their blistering 17-2 start the Sox were cooled off by Oakland and Toronto who combined to take 3 in a row from Boston over a 4 day period. The Red Sox stopped the bleeding last night with a 4-3 win and now hand the ball back to ace Chris Sale fresh off his first loss of the season. Sale didn't have a bad game giving up 3 runs and 6 hits over 7 innings Saturday to the A's but when your offense gets no-hit it doesn't matter. Sale will be locked in for this one against the second place Blue Jays. The Sox get the win. |

Padres +148 v. Rockies | | 2-5 |
Loss | -100 | 17 h 38 m | Show |
|
04-24-18 |
Brewers -117 v. Royals | | 5-2 |
Win | 100 | 22 h 57 m | Show |
The Brewers are playing very good baseball winners of the last 6 games. The Royals have lost 10 of 12 and with their offensive deficiencies will have trouble winning games against even average pitching. Zach Davies is way better than his numbers indicate as he started slow but has pitched much better of late. Look for the Brewers to put up a big number in the early innings and cruise for another win. Take The Brewers. |
04-23-18 |
Braves -126 v. Reds | | 4-10 |
Loss | -126 | 18 h 33 m | Show |
The Atlanta Braves are off to a terrific albeit surprising start. The Braves have won every series so far this season except one and find themselves near the top of the division at 12-8. The Reds, on the other hand, is a dumpster fire and that's just how they want it as they go full season tank mode. Rookie Sal Romano takes the mound for the Reds and he has been lit up this year. Take The Braves. |
04-22-18 |
Royals v. Tigers -147 | | 8-5 |
Loss | -147 | 12 h 49 m | Show |
This was supposed to be a lost season for the Detroit Tigers but their youth movement has worked out well so far as they are winning games. Detroit starter Francisco Liriano is looking like the pitcher who was a staff ace back in the day and the Royals pitcher Eric Skoglund is awful just like his team who are starting over from scratch. We'll Take The Tigers. |
04-21-18 |
Indians -180 v. Orioles | | 4-0 |
Win | 100 | 13 h 15 m | Show |
The Indians have struggled mightily at the plate this season and are lucky they have a very good pitching staff and are in an awful division or else they'd already be in an early hole. They a decided advantage Saturday as Chris Tillman is on the mound for the Orioles and he's just awful. Tillman is 0-3 this season with an ERA over 11 after going just 1-7 last year. The Indians will cruise. Take The Indians. |
04-19-18 |
Red Sox -101 v. Angels | | 8-2 |
Win | 100 | 8 h 36 m | Show |
Nick Tropeano is coming off a great first start against the Kansas City Royals giving up 6 hit 2 walks and no runs in a 7-1 Anaheim win. The problem he has in this game is the Red Sox are not the Royals and their bats are on fire. The Sox will be too much for Tropeano who only has 15 career starts. Take The Red Sox. |

Pirates -126 v. Marlins | | 2-7 |
Loss | -126 | 20 h 48 m | Show |
|
04-12-18 |
Angels v. Royals +136 | | 7-1 |
Loss | -100 | 1 h 15 m | Show |
The Angels are really good and should run away with the AL West but they should not be favored tonight on the road with Nick Tropeano on the mound. Tropeano is just 7-7 in his career and hasn't pitched a Major League game since August 2016 because of Tommy John surgery. The Royals send Michael Fulmer to the mound. Fulmer is off to a great start and should keep the Angels in check while the bats do the rest. Take The Royals. |
04-12-18 |
Pirates +175 v. Cubs | | 6-1 |
Win | 175 | 1 h 36 m | Show |
Getting a great price on a Pirates club who is playing better baseball than Cubs and has Trevor Williams on the mound who has only given up 2 runs in 11 1/3 innings this season in his 2 victories. Take The Pirates. |
04-11-18 |
Yankees v. Red Sox -106 | | 10-7 |
Loss | -106 | 19 h 21 m | Show |
The Boston Red Sox are hot as a pistol, winners in 9 of their first 10 games. People can no longer chalk their fast start up to a weak schedule after pounding the Yankees Tuesday night. Now they send David Price to the mound in game 2 of the series. Price looks like his old self so far this season which could be bad news for the rest of the American League. The Yankees bats will get hot eventually but this is a bad spot to be facing Price with how cold they are. Take The Red Sox. |
04-10-18 |
Mariners -108 v. Royals | Top | 8-3 |
Win | 100 | 6 h 42 m | Show |
The Mariners are sending out Felix Hernandez who is still, in my opinion, one of the best pitchers in the Major Leagues. Hernandez pitched like absolute garbage in his last start, giving up 8 runs to the Giants. I expect him to pitch more like he did on opening day when he blanked the Indians over 5 1/3 innings. On the other hand, the Royals are sending out Eric Skoglund, a pitcher with 7 career starts and a career ERA over 9. Advantage Mariners. Take Seattle. |
04-10-18 |
Yankees v. Red Sox -126 | | 1-14 |
Win | 100 | 7 h 40 m | Show |
The Boston Red Sox and NY Yankees are going to be fun to watch all season and it wouldn't be surprising if in the 19 games they play this season the series ends 10-9 one way or the other. But we're only in week 2 of the season and right now the Red Sox are playing way better baseball than the Yankees as well as being healthier despite shortstop Xander Bogaerts being placed on the 2 week DL. Chris Sale was 0-3 in 5 starts against the Yankees in 2017 and Luis Servino was 2-1 against Boston. Sale has been looking forward to this game all offseason to prove he can beat the Yankees like he did before joining the Sox when he went 4-1 as a member of the White Sox and I think he will. I give the edge to the Sox on the mound and at the plate in this game. Take The Red Sox. |
04-10-18 |
Mets -185 v. Marlins | | 8-6 |
Win | 100 | 4 h 19 m | Show |
The Mets are on absolute fire to start the season and it's all because of their starting pitching. Jacob DeGrom gets the ball in this one and he was stellar in his first 2 starts. Miami is just awful and will probably lose the most games in baseball this season. That being said they will still win over 50 games this season. This won't be one of them as DeGrom will be too much for their young bats. Lay heavy odds and take The Mets. |
