10-29-19 | Nationals +163 v. Astros | Top | 7-2 | Win | 163 | 26 h 51 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Nationals +163 After winning the first to games, the Washington Nationals now find themselves down 2-3 in the series heading back to Houston. The road team has won all five games in this series and that trend will continue tonight. Stephen Strasburg will take the mound for the Nationals tonight. Strasburg has been great this postseason, allowing just six earned runs in 28 innings. Justin Verlander will get the start for the Astros. Verlander has allowed four earned runs in each of his last two starts and has yet to get a win in a WS start (six starts 0-5 5.73 ERA). The Nationals have the advantage on the mound in this game with the way Verlander has been pitching of late and with how his mental state is knowing he has struggled in WS games. Backed into a corner fighting for their life, look for the Nationals to even this series up and set us up for one of the best WS Game 7s in recent memory.

No Limit Play on Astros -185 Game 1 of the World Series kicksoff as Houston Astros take on the Washington Nationals. Getting the start for the Nationals will be ace Max Scherzer while potential A.L. Cy Young Winner Gerrit Cole starts for the Astros. The Astros haven't lost a game that Cole has started since July. The Astros have been winning behind solid defense (0.992 FLD%) and hitting plenty of long balls (14 HR this postseason). When needed, they have been swiping bags as well with five stolen bases, good for second most this postseason. The Astros have the better all-around team and are throwing out perhaps baseball's best pitcher to start this World Series. Houston is 6-1 SU in their last seven home games. The Astros open up this World Series with a win tonight.
10-17-19 | Astros v. Yankees UNDER 8 | Top | 8-3 | Loss | -105 | 28 h 34 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Astros vs Yankees under8 -105 The Houston Astros lead the ALCS 2-1 over the New York Yankees. Game 4 tonight puts Zack Greinke of the Astros up against Masahiro Tanaka of the Yankees. Greinke has made two starts this postseason and after struggling in the first start (six earned runs in 3.2 innings), he rebounded a little with just three earned runs in six innings, including six strikeouts and no walks. Greinke is only going to continue to get better this postseason and get back to his dominant pitching that we saw throughout most of the regular season. Tanaka has pitched 11 innings this postseason and has only allowed four hits and one earned run. Everyone expects a high-scoring game every time these two teams meet. That won't be the case tonight. After a rain day yesterday, look for both teams to come out a little slow on offense tonight. Both starters pitch great games and then the bullpens follow suit. This game could go either way but the runs should be at a premium in this pitcher's duel.
10-15-19 | Astros v. Yankees +153 | Top | 4-1 | Loss | -100 | 24 h 36 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Yankees +153 The ALCS is tied at 1-1 as we now head to New York. Starting Game 3 for the visiting Houston Astros will be Gerrit Cole and he will faceoff against Luis Severino of the New York Yankees. The Yankees had a chance to make this a 2-0 series but ended up losing in extra innings two nights ago. The Yankees offense has looked good, especially considering the pitching they have faced in this series. Severino only pitched 16 innings this year between the regular and postseason. In those 16 innings he has only allowed two earned runs and has 21 strikeouts. Cole is expected to finish in the top two in the A.L. Cy Young vote this season so many expect this to be an easy win for the Astros. Not so fast. Severino is certainly capable of out pitching Cole and the Yankees offense has been worlds better than the Astros. New York is averaging more than twice as many runs per game this postseason as the Astros (6.4 to 3.1). New York is tops in nearly every offensive category this postseason and their pitching isn't far behind. Knowing they let one slip away last game, this New York team will be ready to win this game. The Yankees have won five of their last six home games against the Astros. The odds are way too good to pass up on the Yankees in this one.

No Limit Play on Astros -150 Game 1 of the ALCS pits Masahiro Tanaka of the New York Yankees against Zack Greinke of the Houston Astros. Tanaka was 11-9 with a 4.45 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP during the regular season. Greinke finished the regular season 18-5 with a 2.93 ERA and a 0.98 WHIP. Greinke was the better pitcher this season and the Astros were the better team. The Astros walked more than any team and struck out fewer than any team this season. The Astros have a disciplined lineup from the 1-9 spot. Tanaka has been prone to games where he allowed a lot of runs (13 of 31 starts allowing four or more earned runs). At home with Greinke on the mound, the Astros are the best pick to start the ALCS off with a win. Houston is 15-4 SU in their last 19 games and 10-3 SU in their last 13 home games against the Yankees.
10-11-19 | Nationals v. Cardinals -115 | Top | 2-0 | Loss | -115 | 21 h 29 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Cardinals -115 Two surprise teams matchup in the NLCS this season. The St. Louis Cardinals upset the Atlanta Braves in the NLDS and the Washington Nationals took down the N.L. leading L.A. Dodgers. Mike Mikolas gets the start for St. Louis and will face off against Anibal Sanchez of the Nationals. Mikolas had a 4.16 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP during the regular season. Sanchez had a 3.85 ERA with a 1.27 WHIP. In the postseason Mikolas has allowed just one earned run in six innings. The St. Louis offense has come alive this postseason as they average one full run more than the Nationals so far. They also have the second most hits this postseason. Their pitching staff has continued to perform well as the Cardinals also have the second best ERA this postseason. The Cardinals are the more complete team and have the better pitcher on the mound tonight. Look for the Cardinals to take Game 1 of the NLCS.
10-09-19 | Cardinals -101 v. Braves | Top | 13-1 | Win | 100 | 24 h 54 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Cardinals -101 The St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves play a decisive Game 5 in the NLDS. Jack Flaherty (11-8 2.76 ERA) of the Cardinals goes up against Mike Foltynewicz (8-6 4.54 ERA) of the Braves. Flaherty has been one of baseball's best pitchers in the second half of the season. He had 231 strikeouts and a 0.97 WHIP this season. He allowed two earned runs or less in 14 of his last 15 starts of the season. In the regular season Folty allowed eight earned runs in 10.2 innings against the Cardinals. The Cardinals have the momentum after a Game 4 win and have the better pitcher on the mound tonight. St. Louis also has the better bullpen in this game and should outpitch the Braves today and be on their way to the NLCS.
10-08-19 | Astros v. Rays +213 | Top | 1-4 | Win | 213 | 25 h 27 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Rays +213 The Tampa Bay Rays look to keep their playoff hopes alive tonight against the Houston Astros. Diego Castillo (5-8 3.41 ERA) of the Rays takes on Justin Verlander (21-6 2.58 ERA) of the Astros. Castillo gets the start but it will be a "bullpen" day for the Rays. Tampa Bay has done a number of these bullpen games during the regular season and were very successful. Castillo has pitched 3.2 innings this postseason and has yet to allow a run. The Rays put up 10 runs yesterday and are outscoring the Astros 13-12 in this series. Tampa has the best bullpen in baseball and should continue to keep the Astros bats silent. At home, the Rays should pull the upset and force a Game 5 in Houston on Thursday.
10-07-19 | Yankees -140 v. Twins | Top | 5-1 | Win | 100 | 27 h 25 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Yankees -140 The New York Yankees look to sweep the Minnesota Twins in the ALDS tonight. Luis Severino (1-1 1.50 ERA) takes the hill for the Yankees and Jake Odorizzi (15-7 3.51 ERA) will start for the Twins. Severino was expected to be the ace for the Yankees this season and has looked that part in his 12 innings this season. He has 17 strikeouts and a 1.00 WHIP. Odorizzi got lit up by the Yankees the last time he faced them, allowing nine earned runs and 10 hits in just four innings. The Yankees are outscoring the Twins 18-6 so far in this series. The better team with a more talented pitcher on the mound, the Yankees get the sweep to end this series tonight.

10-04-19 | Twins +180 v. Yankees | Top | 4-10 | Loss | -100 | 26 h 13 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Twins +180 The ALDS begins today as the Minnesota Twins take on the New York Yankees. Jose Berrios of the Twins goes up against James Paxton of the Yankees. Berrios ended the year with a 3.68 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP. Paxton finished the season with a 3.82 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP. Paxton threw 50 less innings than Berrios and still walked four more batters. Offensively, these are the two highest scoring teams in baseball. The Twins are a better hitting team and strike out less than the Yankees. Both teams can crush the long ball as well. Berrios allowed a home run every 7.7 innings while Paxton allowed one every 6.8 innings. The Twins offense is as good as any and they have the better pitcher on the mound tonight. A Minnesota upset a +180 is too good of a bet to miss out on.
10-03-19 | Cardinals v. Braves OVER 8 | Top | 7-6 | Win | 100 | 48 h 14 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Cardinals vs Braves over8 -119 The NLDS kicksoff today as the St. Louis Cardinals take on the Atlanta Braves. Miles Mikolas will start for the Cardinals as they travel to Atlanta and go up against Dallas Keuchel and the Braves. Mikolas was 9-14 on the year and had a 4.16 ERA with a 1.22 WHIP. Mikolas has allowed three or more earned runs in six of his last nine starts. Mikolas allowed three earned runs in seven innings against the Braves earlier this season. Keuchel was 8-8 this season with a 3.75 ERA and a 1.37 WHIP. Keuchel finished his season with a 6.18 ERA over his last three starts. Keuchel has been up and down all year. Mikolas has been solid but not great. Atlanta scored the seventh most runs per game this season. Runs should be plentiful in this game as we see more than eight to push this game OVER.

10-01-19 | Brewers +160 v. Nationals | Top | 3-4 | Loss | -100 | 45 h 32 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Brewers +160 The MLB Playoffs begin tonight as the Milwaukee Brewers take on the Washington Nationals in a one-game playoff Wild Card round. Brandon Woodruff gets the start for the Brewers and will go up against Max Scherzer of the Nationals. Woodruff put together a solid season with a 3.62 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP with 143 strikeouts in 121.2 innings. Since coming back from the IL Woodruff has pitched just four innings but has yet to allow a hit or a run and has struck out seven batters. Against the Nationals Woodruff pitched six innings and allowed just one hit. Scherzer struggled down the stretch. In his last three starts he allowed 12 earned runs in 17.2 innings (6.11 ERA). The Brewers are 15-5 SU over their last 20 games. The Nationals biggest advantage is in Scherzer but he has struggled lately. The Brewers bullpen is solid and Josh Hader will pitch multiple innings in this game. The Brewers should be able to pull the upset to start the playoffs.
09-28-19 | Braves v. Mets -105 | Top | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 26 h 50 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Mets -105 Steven Matz (10-10 4.37 ERA) and the New York Mets host the Atlanta Braves and Mike Foltynewicz (8-5 4.46 ERA). Matz had seven consecutive starts allowing two or fewer earned runs in a start, until his two most recent starts. He has struggled lately but should rebound today against a team he has pitched well against of late. In his last two starts against the Braves, Matz has allowed just two earned runs and four hits in 12 innings. The Braves have the divsion clinched and will be looking to just get these final two games over with. The Mets on the otherhand will be looking to finish the season on a positive note. Matz should rebound with a quality start tonight as the Mets pick up another win against the Braves.
09-27-19 | Padres +115 v. Diamondbacks | Top | 3-6 | Loss | -100 | 28 h 49 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Padres +115 Two N.L. West teams looking to finish a disappointing year with a strong finish, the Arizona Diamondbacks take on the San Diego Padres. Eric Lauer (8-10 4.53 ERA) will start for the Padres. Lauer allowed just two runs and two hits in six innings against the Diamondbacks in his last start. He also struck out nine batters. Taylor Clarke (5-5 5.40 ERA) will start for Arizona. Clarke has been working out of the bullpen since early August. He allowed one earned run in three innings against the Padres last week. Over his last 17.1 innings, Clarke has allowed eight earned runs and seven home runs. With the better pitcher on the mound, look for the Padres to pull the mini-upset.
09-26-19 | Indians v. White Sox UNDER 9 | Top | 0-8 | Win | 100 | 26 h 16 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Indians vs White Sox under9 -105 Dylan Cease (4-7 5.79 ERA) and the Chicago White Sox take on Aaron Civale (3-3 1.82 ERA) and the desperate Cleveland Indians. Cease has three-striahgt starts allowing just one earned run. Civale has looked great for the Indians, he has yet to allow more than two earned runs in any single start. He also has a great WHIP of 0.99. The White Sox are 24th in runs scored and Civale can't be hit. The total has gone UNDER in 12 of the last 16 games for the Indians. Behind another solid start from Civale we should see another low-scoring game between these two as we cover the UNDER.
09-25-19 | Orioles v. Blue Jays -158 | Top | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 25 h 24 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Blue Jays -158 Two teams who can't wait for the season to end, the Baltimore Orioles take on the Toronto Blue Jays. Gabriel Ynoa (1-9 5.65 ERA) makes his final start for Baltimore as Jacob Waguespack (4-5 4.75 ERA) does the same for Toronto. Ynoa, winless since early July, has allowed six home runs over his last four starts (18.2 innings). His last start was against the Blue Jays where he allowed three earned runs and two home runs in 6.1 innings with just one strikeout. Despite their poor offense this season, Toronto has hit the ninth most home runs in the league and should pick up a couple more tonight against a home run prone Ynoa. Toronto is 6-3 SU in their last nine games while Baltimore is 6-13 SU in their last 19. The Blue Jays are 13-5 SU in their last 18 home games against the Orioles.
09-20-19 | Rangers +151 v. A's | Top | 0-8 | Loss | -100 | 30 h 31 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Rangers +151 Mike Minor (13-9 3.33 ERA) and the Texas Rangers take on Mike Fiers (14-4 4.09 ERA) and the Oakland Athletics. Minor has quietly put together one of the better season in the A.L. this year. He is 12 strikeouts shy of 200 and has three scoreless starts in his last eight total starts. Fiers has really struggled over his last four starts, compiling an ERA of 12.58. Against the Rangers this season, Fiers has an ERA of 7.86. The Rangers have the most stolen bases in the league and against a struggling Fiers should really pile on the pressure and put up some runs. Minor should continue his excellent season and put up another solid pitching performance enroute to a Rangers win.
09-18-19 | Angels v. Yankees -270 | Top | 3-2 | Loss | -270 | 26 h 5 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Yankees -270 The New York Yankees have a chance to clinch the A.L. East tonight against the Los Angeles Angels. CC Sabathia (5-8 4.95 ERA) starts for the Yankees while Dillon Peters (3-3 4.83 ERA) starts for the Angels. Sabathia has allowed just five earned runs over his last three starts. Over his last 18 innings, Peters has allowed 16 earned runs (8.00 ERA). The Yankees are averaging 5.9 runs per game (first in the league) while the Angels are allowin 5.4 runs per game (25th). The Yankees are 13-3 SU in their last 16 games at home against the Angels and Los Angeles is 1-7 SU in their last eight games.
09-17-19 | Nationals -111 v. Cardinals | Top | 6-2 | Win | 100 | 27 h 15 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Nationals -111 Two teams that appear playoff-bound, the St. Louis Cardinals take on the Washington Nationals. Patrick Corbin (12-7 3.20 ERA) of the Nationals will start against Miles Mikolas (9-13 4.28 ERA) of the Cardinals. Corbin continues to pitch well as he has only allowed more than three earned runs in a start once since June 12th. Corbin has a 1.15 WHIP and 213 strikeouts in 185.2 innings this season. Mikolas has put together a solid season as well but is more of a pitch-to-contact pitcher than Corbin. Against a Nationals offense that is sixth in runs per game, that could be a dangerous formula for the Cardinals. The Cardinals rely too heavily on pitching as they are 21st in runs per game. St. Louis will have a hard time keeping up with this Nationals offense, especially with Corbin on the mound for Washington.
09-16-19 | Orioles -125 v. Tigers | Top | 2-5 | Loss | -125 | 24 h 37 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Orioles -125 John Means (10-10 3.47 ERA) and the Baltimore Orioles continue their series with the Detroit Tigers and starting pitcher Tyler Alexander (0-3 5.40 ERA). Means has been the best part of the Orioles team this season and is a strong Rookie of the Year candidate. Along with his solid ERA, Means has a 1.11 WHIP. Means hasn't allowed more than two earned runs in any of his last five starts. He allowed just one earned runs in six innings against the Tigers earlier this season. Alexander has only pitched 38.1 innings this season and has allowed 20 earned runs in his last 26.1 innings. Expect Means to put another strong start on his Rookie of the Year resume as the Orioles get the win.

09-14-19 | Orioles v. Tigers -130 | Top | 4-8 | Win | 100 | 26 h 40 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Tigers -130 The two worst teams in the A.L., the Detroit Tigers and Baltimore Orioles, play their second of a four-game series. Gabriel Ynoa (1-8 5.79 ERA) will start for the Orioles and Daniel Norris (3-12 4.72 ERA) gets the start for the Tigers. Ynoa has split time between the starting rotation and the bullpen. Ynoa has allowed 18 earned runs over his last 25 innings (6.48 ERA). Norris has been limited to just three innings over his last five starts but has done fairly well in that span. He has only allowed five earned runs in his last 15 innings (2.99 ERA). Norris will most likely get another short workload today but should be effective and help this Tigers team get a win as they beat up on Ynoa.
09-13-19 | A's v. Rangers +151 | Top | 14-9 | Loss | -100 | 28 h 35 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Rangers +151 Chris Bassitt (10-5 3.64 ERA) looks to keep the Oakland A's in the first Wild Card position as they take on Brock Burke (0-1 3.52 ERA) and the Texas Rangers. Bassitt has a 4.03 ERA over his last four starts, most of which against lowly-ranked offenses (Detroit, Kansas City, San Francisco). He allowed three earned runs in just 5.2 innings in his last start against Texas. Burke has only pitched in 23 innings this season but owns a solid 1.17 WHIP. Burke allowed two or fewer earned runs in three of his four starts this season. Burke had a rough outing in his last start, but expect him to bounce back tonight. Bassitt hasn't pitched that well over his last four starts and that was against bad offenses. 09-12-19 | Nationals -112 v. Twins | Top | 12-6 | Win | 100 | 21 h 21 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Nationals -112 Patrick Corbin (11-7 3.16 ERA) and the Washington Nationals take on Kyle Gibson (13-6 4.58 ERA) and the Minnesota Twins in the rubber match of their three-game series. Corbin has been one of the most underrated N.L. pitchers this season, owning a 1.14 WHIP and 210 strikeouts in 179.2 innings. He allowed just one earned run in his last start, against the N.L. East-leading Atlanta Braves. Gibson is coming off of five consecutive rough-outings (two of which against the Detroit Tigers). In that span, his ERA is 7.17. Corbin should continue his excellent pitching while the Nationals bats hand Gibson his sixth-straight bad-outing as the Nationals get the win.
09-11-19 | Nationals v. Twins +126 | Top | 6-2 | Loss | -100 | 27 h 58 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Twins +126 Two teams that seem to be heading to the playoffs, the Washington Nationals and Minnesota Twins, play the second of their three-game series. Stephen Strasburg (16-6 3.50 ERA) of the Nationals battles Martin Perez (10-6 4.75 ERA) of the Twins. Strasburg allowed three earned runs in six innings in his last start. Since the start of August, Strasburg has struggled a bit against better offenses (4.50 ERA against the Braves, 3.85 ERA against the Mets, 6.35 ERA against the Reds, and 17.31 ERA against the Diamondbacks). The Twins offense is first in home runs and tied with the Yankees at 5.8 runs per game. Perez only allowed one earned run on a solo shot in his last start (Red Sox). The Twins offense will cause problems for Strasburg tonight and Perez will be the better starting pitcher as the Twins pull the "upset".
09-10-19 | Royals v. White Sox -116 | Top | 3-7 | Win | 100 | 28 h 40 m | Show |
No Limit Play on White Sox -116 Jakob Junis (9-12 4.94 ERA) and the Kansas City Royals take on Ivan Nova (9-12 4.69 ERA) and the Chicago White Sox. Junis has allowed four earned runs in three straight starts. Nova has allowed one earned run or less in six of his last nine starts. The Royals only scored 10 runs total in their three game series against the Miami Marlins. The White Sox are averaging nearly six runs per game over their last six games. Kansas City is 1-6 SU in their last seven games on the road against the White Sox. Nova has been a solid pitcher for most of the past month and a half (four wins) and should get another win tonight.
09-09-19 | Brewers v. Marlins +153 | Top | 8-3 | Loss | -100 | 27 h 40 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Marlins +153 The Miami Marlins take on Wild Card hopeful Milwaukee Brewers. Jordan Lyles (10-8 4.46 ERA) takes the hill for the Brewers and battles Robert Dugger (0-1 4.00 ERA) of the Marlins. Lyles has allowed five earned runs or more in four of his last 11 starts. Dugger has looked pretty solid over his last two starts. He allowed just two earned runs over his last 12 innings (1.50 ERA). Dugger has only pitched in 18 innings but has responded well since his rough first start. Miami has won four of the last six games between these two and behind a solid performance from Dugger should be able to pull the upset against the Brewers again.

09-07-19 | Indians +151 v. Twins | Top | 3-5 | Loss | -100 | 27 h 40 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Indians +151 Two teams atop the A.L. Central play a crucial series as the Minnesota Twins take on the Cleveland Indians. Aaron Civale (3-3 1.94 ERA) makes his eighth start for the Indians and has looked solid in every one. He has yet to allow more than two earned runs in any single start. Against the Twins last month, Civale went six innings and allowed just one earned run. Civale has a 1.03 WHIP in 41.2 innings this season. Jake Odorizzi (14-6 3.61 ERA) is starting for the Twins tonight. Odorizzi has been a bit iffy over his last four starts, owning a 4.58 ERA in that span against subpar teams (Detroit, Chicago White Sox twice, and Texas). Civale has been excellent since his call-up this season and between him and the Indians top three pitching staff they should be able to keep the Twins bats silent enough for a big win tonight.
09-06-19 | Cubs -115 v. Brewers | Top | 1-7 | Loss | -115 | 28 h 37 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Cubs -115 Two teams fighting for a Wild Card spot play their second of a four-game series. Cole Hamels (7-5 3.69 ERA) of the Chicago Cubs goes up against Zach Davies (8-7 3.76 ERA) of the Milwaukee Brewers. Hamels allowed two earned runs in six innings in his last start, which was against the Brewers. Hamels has a 1.87 ERA against the Brewers this season. Davies has allowed eight home runs and 23 earned runs over his last six starts (7.77 ERA). Three of those six starts were against the Cubs. The Cubs are 6-0 SU in their last six road games and should take that streak to 7-0 with another win over the Brewers today.
09-05-19 | Twins +139 v. Red Sox | Top | 2-1 | Win | 139 | 27 h 37 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Twins +139 Martin Perez (9-6 4.89 ERA) and the Minnesota Twins go up against Nathan Eovaldi (1-0 6.23 ERA) and the Boston Red Sox. Perez is coming off of a rough start where he allowed seven runs in just 2.2 innings, but prior to that start he had an ERA of 2.12 over his last three starts. Eovaldi has only pitched in 43.1 innings this season, spending most of his time in the bullpen due to his poor starts early in the season (8.40 ERA after his first three starts). Eovaldi hasn't pitched more than four innings in an outing since April 17th. The Red Sox bullpen has been an issue at times this season and the number one offense in the Minnesota Twins should feast on Eovaldi and the Red Sox bullpen tonight.
09-04-19 | Angels v. A's -150 | Top | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 29 h 19 m | Show |
No Limit Play on A's -150 Tanner Roark (8-8 4.04 ERA) and the Oakland Athletics take on the Los Angeles Angels and pitching prospect Patrick Sandoval (0-1 5.24 ERA). Roark has done better this season since joining the Athletics, going 2-1 with a 3.30 ERA in 30 innings with a 1.13 WHIP. Roark allowed just one earned run in 5.1 innings against the Angels earlier this season. Sandoval has pitched in five games this season and the Angels have lost four of them. The A's are averaging seven runs per game over their last eight. The Oakland offense should have no problem getting to Sandoval while Roark continues his hot pitching as an Athletic.
09-03-19 | Angels +160 v. A's | Top | 5-7 | Loss | -100 | 30 h 37 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Angels +160 The Oakland Athletics look to keep pace in the A.L. Wild Card race tonight against the Los Angeles Angels. Jaime Barria (4-7 6.10 ERA) of the Angels faces off against Mike Fiers (13-3 3.40 ERA) of the Athletics. Barria only allowed three htis and one earned run in five innings against the A's earlier this season. Over his last three starts, Fiers has allowed eight earned runs and four home runs in 16.2 innings. The Angels offense walks the fifth-most in the Majors and strikes out the third-least. Look for the Angels to pull the upset against the A's tonight.

08-31-19 | Twins -134 v. Tigers | Top | 7-10 | Loss | -134 | 24 h 34 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Twins -134 Martin Perez (9-5 4.53 ERA) and the Minnesota Twins take on Matthew Boyd (6-10 4.47 ERA) and the Detroit Tigers. Perez has an ERA of 2.12 over his last four starts. Perez went six innings and only allowed two earned runs against the Tigers in his last start. Boyd got torched by the Twins in his last start, allowing seven earned runs in six innings. Over his last four starts, Boyd has an ERA of 8.15. The Twins are on a six-game winning streak and have averaged over eight runs per game in that span. The Tigers have lost six games in a row and are averaging under three runs per game in that span. The Twins get to Boyd again tonight and pick up their seventh-straight win.
08-30-19 | White Sox +182 v. Braves | Top | 7-10 | Loss | -100 | 23 h 41 m | Show |
No Limit Play on White Sox +182 Ivan Nova (9-10 4.37 ERA) and the Chicago White Sox take on Max Fried (14-4 4.03 ERA) and the Atlanta Braves. Nova has been one of baseball's best pitchers since July 22nd. Over his last seven starts, Nova has an ERA of 0.94. Most of those starts have been against quality opponents (Texas, Minnesota (2x), Houston, and Philadelphia. Fried has gotten a bit roughed up over his last two starts, allowing eight earned runs in just 10 innings (7.20 ERA). With the way Nova is pitching, the Braves offense (which has struggled in three of their last four games) is going to continue to struggle. The White Sox should be able to pull the upset with Nova putting up another strong outing on the mound.
08-29-19 | Padres v. Giants +113 | Top | 5-3 | Loss | -100 | 29 h 15 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Giants +113 Chris Paddack (7-7 3.84 ERA) and the San Diego Padres take on Dereck Rodriguez (5-6 5.26 ERA) and the San Francisco Giants. Paddack has great numbers this season but had been getting lit up his last four starts. He has allowed 19 earned runs in 17 innings over those four starts (10.06 ERA). He has also allowd six home runs in that span. Rodriguez only allowed two earned runs in seven innings against the Padres earlier this season. Since August 11th, The Giants have been averaging 5.8 runs per game. With Paddack struggling so badly right now, the Giants' should stay hot on offense and take this game from Paddack and the Padres.
08-28-19 | Yankees -205 v. Mariners | Top | 7-3 | Win | 100 | 24 h 40 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Yankees -205 The New York Yankees will go for the sweep of the Seattle Mariners tonight. Ex-Mariner James Paxton (10-6 4.43 ERA) of the Yankees will face off against Justus Sheffield (0-0 6.43 ERA). Coming off of a solid performance against one of the league's best offenses (6.2 innings allowing two earned runs to the Los Angeles Dodgers), Paxton should be able to handle the Mariners declining offense. Paxton is currently on a five-game win streak. Sheffield has only made two appearances this season for a total of seven innings. April 26th was his first and August 23rd was his second where he allowed three earned runs on seven hits in just four innings. The Yankees are 12-2 SU in their last 14 games against Seattle and their offense should cruise against Sheffield tonight.
08-27-19 | Orioles v. Nationals -300 | Top | 2-0 | Loss | -300 | 27 h 35 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Nationals -300 The Washington Nationals look to continue building a lead for the top wild card spot with a win tonight against the Baltimore Orioles. Patrick Corbin (10-5 3.17 ERA) will start for the Nationals and take on Aaron Brooks (3-7 6.21 ERA). Brooks faced the Nationals once this season and allowed one earned run in just 2.2 innings. Over his last six appearances, Brooks has allowed 28 earned runs in 27 innings (9.33 ERA). Corbin has quietly put together one of the best season on the mound in the N.L. Over his last three starts he has only allowed three earned runs in 20 innings (1.35 ERA). Baltimore is 0-7 SU in their last seven road games while the Nationals are 12-2 SU in their last 14 and currently on a five-game winning streak.

08-24-19 | Yankees v. Dodgers -140 | Top | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 23 h 23 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Dodgers -140 In a potential World Series matchup, the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the New York Yankees. Dodgers rookie Tony Gonsolin (1-1 3.00 ERA) will battle Yankees veteran CC Sabathia (8-7 5.01 ERA). Gonsolin has made four appearances so far this season and his last three he has looked great. He has only allowed two earned runs over his last 14 innings with 12 strikeouts and just one walk. Gonsolin has a 0.94 WHIP with 15 strikeouts and just one walk in 18 innings this season. Sabathia started the year out solid but has since declined. His ERA has increased from 2.97 back on May 17th. Over his last three starts, Sabathia has allowed 15 earned runs in just 11.1 innings (11.91 ERA). The Yankees are 1-4 SU in their last five games while the Dodgers are 13-5 SU in their last 18.
08-23-19 | Rangers v. White Sox +138 | Top | 3-8 | Win | 138 | 28 h 40 m | Show |
No Limit Play on White Sox +138 Lance Lynn (14-8 3.60 ERA) and the Texas Rangers battle Dyland Cease (2-6 5.93 ERA) and the improving Chicago White Sox. Lynn allowed five earned runs in seven innings in his only start against the White Sox this season. In his last start, Lynn allowed three earned runs and five walks in just five innings, against the Minnesota Twins. Home runs have been an issue for Cease this season but the Rangers are 22nd in home runs hit this season. The Rangers are 5-12 SU in their last 17 games and 2-11 SU against the White Sox in their last 13 games in Chicago. Cease should be able to keep the ball in the park today against a Rangers team that doesn't hit many home runs. Expect the White Sox to continue their hot hitting at the plate tonight (six runs per game over their last nine).
08-22-19 | Indians +140 v. Mets | Top | 0-2 | Loss | -100 | 27 h 40 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Indians +140 The New York Mets will try for the sweep of the Cleveland Indians tonight as they send out Noah Syndergaard (8-6 3.86 ERA). The Indians respond with rookie Aaron Civale (1-2 1.50 ERA). Syndergaard has allowed four or more earned runs in 10 of his 24 starts this season. Civale will be making his fifth start and has only allowed a total of four runs. He has pitched exactly six innings in all four of his previous starts this season, most of which have been against top offenses (Yankees, Twins, Rangers). Civale owns a 0.96 WHIP in his 24 innings this season. Assuming Civale goes another six strong innings, the Mets will then have to contend with the league's best bullpen in terms of ERA. Strong pitching tonight helps the Indians avoid the sweep.
08-21-19 | Marlins v. Braves -180 | Top | 0-5 | Win | 100 | 23 h 16 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Braves -180 The N.L. East leading Atlanta Braves take on the N.L. worst Miami Marlins. Caleb Smith (8-6 3.63 ERA) gets the start for the Marlins as Julio Teheran (7-8 3.71 ERA) starts for the Braves. Smith has only made it seven innings in five of his 20 starts this season. The Marlins bullpen ranks 26th in ERA. In his last start against the Braves, Smith allowed 10 hits and six earned runs in just 4.2 innings. On the year, Smith has allowed 14 earned runs in 22 innings against the Braves (5.73 ERA). Teheran only allowed one earned run in seven innings against the Marlins on August 9th. Teheran has only allowed one earned run against the Marlins all season in 25 innings (0.36 ERA). The Marlins are 0-10 SU in their last 10 road games and 3-12 SU in their last 15 against the Braves. Atlanta is 6-2 SU in their last eight games.
08-20-19 | Tigers v. Astros -285 | Top | 3-6 | Win | 100 | 28 h 38 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Astros -285 The lowly Detroit Tigers take on a World Series-caliber Houston Astros tonight. Spencer Turnbull (3-11 3.75 ERA) will try and get the upset for Detroit while Aaron Sanchez (5-14 5.79 ERA) makes his fourth start for the Astros since being traded from Toronto. Sanchez looked great in his first two starts for the Astros, only allowing one earned run in 11 innings but go roughed up in his last start (six earned runs in 5.1 innings against the Oakland A's). All of those runs came via the home run against Sanchez. The Tigers are the second-worst home run hitting team in baseball. Turnbull has been one of the Tigers best pitchers but he hasn't done that well since June 16th, putting up a 5.91 ERA. Houston should cruise to victory today as Sanchez limits the home runs and keeps Detroit fighting to get on the board.
08-19-19 | Tigers v. Astros -370 | Top | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 28 h 38 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Astros -370 One of the league's best, the Houston Astros, will be taking on baseball's worst team, the Detroit Tigers. Wade Miley (11-4 3.11 ERA) has quitely put together a good season on the mound and will get the start for Houston tonight as Edwin Jackson (3-5 8.62 ERA) starts for the Tigers. Jackson's season has been about the opposite of Miley's this year. Over his last 34.2 innings, Jackson has allowed 36 earned runs (9.35 ERA). Miley hasn't allowed more than three earned runs in any of his last nine starts, five of which he allowed one or no earned runs. Houston is 6-0 SU in their lat six home games while Detroit is 2-6 SU in their last eight overall. Miley will continue his excellent season and should improve on both his ERA and his WHIP (1.18). Houston's offense should have no issue teeing off on Jackson as the Astros cruise to victory.

08-16-19 | Mets -175 v. Royals | Top | 1-4 | Loss | -175 | 28 h 43 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Mets -175 The New York Mets begin a three-game series with the Kansas City Royals. Noah Syndergaard (8-5 3.89 ERA) gets the start for New York as Mike Montgomery (2-5 5.19 ERA) goes for the Royals. Thor hasn't had his best season this year, but has pitched better of late. Over his last six starts, Syndergaard has only allowed nine earned runs in 42.1 innings (1.91 ERA), pitching at least seven innings in all six. Montgomery has become a starter since being traded to the Royals last month. In those starts, Montgomery owns a 4.63 ERA with a 1.37 WHIP. Aside from his last start (against the Detroit Tigers horrid offense), Montgomery hasn't looked very good as a starter. The Mets offense is hot and they need a sweep in this series as they are two-back in the Wild Card race. Thor will continue his hot pitching and limit the need for the vulnerable Mets bullpen. New York's offense will continue its hot hitting tonight against an iffy Montgomery.
08-13-19 | Rays -101 v. Padres | Top | 7-5 | Win | 100 | 30 h 34 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Rays -101 The Tampa Bay Rays and the San Diego Padres will play the second game of their series tonight with Brendan McKay (2-2 4.55 ERA) making his seventh start for the Rays and Eric Lauer (6-8 4.51 ERA) making his 22nd for the Padres. McKay has pitched fairly well in his limited action this season (29.2 innings), aside from one bad outing against the White Sox. His 1.21 WHIP is solid and trumps that of Lauer's 1.39. McKay owns an incredible strikeout/walk ratio with 33 K's and just three walks. McKay kept the Orioles and Rangers scoreless in two starts this year and only gave up three earned runs to each the Yankees and Red Sox. The Padres 22nd-ranked offense should be containable for the young McKay. Lauer has allowed 14 earned runs in his last 18.1 innings (6.86 ERA). Tampa Bay is 38-22 SU on the road this season.

08-10-19 | Braves -210 v. Marlins | Top | 6-7 | Loss | -210 | 26 h 38 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Braves -210 After splitting the first two games of the series, Mike Soroka (10-2 2.45 ERA) and the Atlanta Braves will take on Sandy Alcantara (4-10 4.50 ERA) and the Miami Marlins. Soroka has been Rookie of The Year material on the mound this year and has owned the Marlins this season. He has only allowed two earned runs to Miami in 19.2 innings (0.91 ERA). Alcantara had a good first half of the season but has struggled mightily since the All-Star break. Alcantara has allowed 21 earned runs in 26.2 innings since the break (7.10 ERA). He has only pitched against the Braves once this year and allowed two earned runs in four innings. Alcantara hasn't won a start since June 21st. Soroka and the Braves will cruise to victory this afternoon.
08-09-19 | Nationals -115 v. Mets | Top | 6-7 | Loss | -115 | 27 h 38 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Nationals -115 A crucial series between two N.L. East rivals will be big in determining this year's Wild Card teams. The New York Mets and Marcus Stroman (6-11 3.07 ERA) faces Stephen Strasburg (14-5 3.72 ERA) and the Washington Nationals. Stroman had a rough outing in his Mets debut against a struggling Pirates offense, allowing seven hits and three earned runs in just 4.1 innings. In his last two starts against the Mets, Strasburg has only allowed two earned runs in 13.2 innings, only allowing eight hits. The Mets are 18-27 SU as underdogs this season. Strasburg is 7-1 in his last eight starts and has a WHIP of 1.08 on the season and 175 strikeouts. Nationals pitching has allowed the least home runs in the Majors and should do well to contain the Mets offense tonight.
08-08-19 | Rockies -102 v. Padres | Top | 3-9 | Loss | -102 | 30 h 34 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Rockies -102 Two N.L. West rivals meet tonight as the San Diego Padres take on the Colorado Rockies. Jon Gray (10-7 4.03 ERA) gets the start for the Rockies while Eric Lauer (6-8 4.43 ERA) goes out for the Padres. Gray has pitched decent over his last three starts against some of the hottest teams in baseball (San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Washington Nationals). He allowed six earned runs in 16 innings (3.37 ERA) in those three starts. Lauer has allowed 11 earned runs in his last 14.1 innings (6.92 ERA). Against the Rockies this year, Lauer has allowed 13 earned runs in 5.2 innings (22.41 ERA). Gray has pitched well against hot teams lately, so should be able to contain the Padres tonight. Colorado has shown that they can get to Lauer and should continue beating up on him in this one. Colorado is 8-3 SU in their last 11 against the Padres while San Diego is 2-10 SU in their last 12 home games.
08-07-19 | Braves +112 v. Twins | Top | 11-7 | Win | 112 | 21 h 38 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Braves +112 The Atlanta Braves and Minnesota Twins will meet in the rubber-match of their three-game series this afternoon. Martin Perez (8-4 4.58 ERA) will take the hill for the home-team Twins while Max Fried (12-4 4.07 ERA) gets the nod for the Braves. The two pitchers have similar numbers, both have four losses, 100+ strikeouts, WHIP ranging from 1.37-1.40, 115-116 IP and an ERA in the fours. Fried, however, has been better in his last three starts than Perez. Fried has allowed six earned runs in 16 1/3 innings (3.32 ERA) while Perez has allowed 13 earned runs in 15 innings (7.78 ERA). The Braves torched the Twins for 12 runs in last night's victory. Look for the Atlanta bats to have a similar performance today.
08-06-19 | White Sox -105 v. Tigers | Top | 6-10 | Loss | -105 | 27 h 34 m | Show |
No Limit Play on White Sox -105 In the second game of their double-header Hector Santiago (1-0 6.75 ERA) will make his first start of the season for the White Sox and go up against Drew VerHagen (1-2 11.66 ERA). Santiago will be making his first appearance since June 14th. VerHagen has only pitched in 14 2.3 innings this season, but has looked rough in most of them. Aside from his insanely high ERA, VerHagen also owns an astronomical WHIP (2.80). He has allowed 15 earned runs and 21 hits in his last 9 2/3 innings (eight walks as well). VerHagen also has more walks (15) than strikeouts (13) this season. Detroit is 7-37 SU in their last 44 games. The White Sox are 6-3 SU against the Tigers this season and should pick up another easy win in Detroit tonight.
08-05-19 | A's +138 v. Cubs | Top | 5-6 | Loss | -100 | 28 h 33 m | Show |
No Limit Play on A's +138 The Chicago Cubs take on the Oakland Athletics in an interleague matchup tonight. Chris Bassitt (7-5 3.84 ERA) will start for the Athletics and Kyle Hendricks (8-8 3.07 ERA) will go for the Cubs. Bassitt isn't the type of pitcher who goes deep into games (hasn't pitched more than six innings in a start since May 16th) but he has put together a solid year in the innings he has pitched. Two of his last four starts were six shutout innings. Both teams are 6-4 SU in their last 10 games and are currently on a three-game winning streak. The Cubs have only scored 20 runs in their last six games (3.3 runs per game). Look for the Athletics to start this series with a win behind a strong pitching performance from Bassitt while the 10th-overall offense give Hendricks a hard time.
08-04-19 | Padres +146 v. Dodgers | Top | 10-11 | Loss | -100 | 24 h 38 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Padres +146 Two N.L. West foes, the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres, finish up their four-game series with the Padres looking to even the series. Kenta Maeda (7-8 4.07 ERA) of the Dodgers faces-off against Chris Paddack (7-5 2.78 ERA) of the Padres. Maeda's last two starts have been rocky. He has allowed eight earned runs in 8 1/3 innings. Paddack has been one of the best pitchers in the N.L. this season and certainly has his name in N.L. Rookie of The Year talks. Not only does he have a great ERA, but he has one of the best WHIPs in the league with pitchers with atleast 100 innings pitched (0.90). Paddack kept the Dodgers off of the scoreboard in his last start, only allowing three hits in 5 2/3 innings. Paddack will keep his great season going and will continue to limit one of the best teams in the league with another great pitching performance as the Padres pick up another upset over the Dodgers.
08-03-19 | Cardinals +125 v. A's | Top | 3-8 | Loss | -100 | 29 h 35 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Cardinals +125 In a rare inter-league matchup, the Oakland Athletics take on the St. Louis Cardinals. Dakota Hudson (10-5 3.88 ERA) starts for the Cardinals and Mike Fiers (9-3 3.54 ERA) will start for Oakland. 11 of Hudson's 21 starts this season he has allowed two earned runs or less. The Cardinals have the third-best bullpen ERA in baseball, so between Hudson and the 'pen, the A's will have trouble scoring runs tonight (only scored 33 runs in their last 10 games). St. Louis is a hot team right now, going 14-5 SU in their last 19 games. With Oakland struggling to find runs and the Cardinals looking like one of baseball's best teams over the past three weeks, St. Louis will pick up another win tonight.
08-02-19 | Reds +130 v. Braves | Top | 5-2 | Win | 130 | 26 h 40 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Reds +130 Alex Wood will make his first start for the Cincinnati Reds this season. Over his seven-year career, Woods owns a 3.30 ERA and went 25-10 over the last two seasons. He will take on Kevin Gausman (3-6 5.97 ERA) and the Atlanta Braves tonight. Gausman has allowed five or more earned runs in one-third of his starts this season. Gausman has allowed 24 earned runs in his last 21 1/3 innings (10.13 ERA). The last time Gausman faced the Reds, they scored five earned runs in just 5 1/3 innings (April 23rd). Look for Wood to have a big come-back start today as he has been one of baseball's most consistent starters since he joined the league. Gausman will continue to struggle and the Reds will pick up the win in tonight's game.
08-01-19 | Mets v. White Sox +142 | Top | 4-0 | Loss | -100 | 22 h 38 m | Show |
No Limit Play on White Sox +142 The New York Mets and Zach Wheeler (7-6 4.71 ERA) finish their three-game series today with the Chicago White Sox and will face Dylan Cease (1-3 6.86 ERA). Wheeler has allowed four or more earned runs in eight of his 20 starts this season, and has three starts allowing double-digit hits. His last two starts he has allowed nine earned runs in jsut 10 1/3 innings. Cease will only be making his fifth start and has only pitched 21 innings this season. Cease has been a victim of large innings, but has pitched well at times despite his subpar numbers. He retired 10 of the last 12 batters he faced in his last start. The Mets bullpen is still shaky at best and as long as Cease can avoid the big innings, the White Sox will score plenty to get the win this afternoon and end the Mets winning streak.
07-31-19 | Twins v. Marlins +164 | Top | 7-4 | Loss | -100 | 26 h 18 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Marlins +164 After a hard fought 2-1 loss yesterday to the Minnesota Twins, the Miami Marlins will look to bounce back with a win today. The Marlins will be sending out All-Star Sandy Alcantara (4-9 4.18 ERA) to get them the win. He is coming off of a solid performance in his last start, allowing two earned runs in six innings to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Jose Berrios (9-5 2.94 ERA) will start for the Twins. The Marlins are 5-2 SU in their last seven games and have scored an average of 5.7 runs in their last three games. The Twins have struggled against the N.L. East, going 3-8 SU in their last 11. The Marlins are 6-2 SU in their last eight games against the A.L. Central. Look for Alcantara to get back to All-Star form as the Marlins have an excellent chance of pulling the upset today after just missing out yesterday.
07-30-19 | Mets v. White Sox +142 | Top | 5-2 | Loss | -100 | 22 h 30 m | Show |
No Limit Play on White Sox +142 The New York Mets being a three-game interleague series with the Chicago White Sox. Amid trade rumors, Noah Syndergaard (7-5 4.33 ERA) may possibly be making his last start as a New York Met. Reynaldo Lopez (5-9 5.52 ERA) will get the start for the White Sox. Syndergaard has been struggling this year compared to past seasons. Nine of his 20 starts this season Thor has allowed four or more earned runs. Lopez's numbers don't look that great, but he has been pitching better of late. In his last three starts he has allowed four earned runs in 21 innings (1.72 ERA). The White Sox are 6-3 SU in their last nine games against the Mets. The Mets are 22-35 SU on the road this season while the White Sox are 27-25 SU at home. 07-29-19 | Blue Jays +115 v. Royals | Top | 7-3 | Win | 115 | 27 h 51 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Blue Jays +115 Thomas Pannone (2-4 6.39 ERA) and the Toronto Blue Jays take on Brad Keller and the Kansas City Royals (7-9 3.95 ERA). Pannone's ERA is high, but that is due to a few specific starts against some good offenses like Boston and Texas. Outside of a couple bad starts, Pannone has had some solid outings this season, most of which came out of the bullpen. Keller pitched against Toronto back on June 30th and got rocked hard. Keller allowed six earned runs in just five innings. Toronto is 8-3 SU in their last 11 games against Kansas City. The Royals are 1-6 SU in their last seven games against the American League East. The Royals have struggled against LHP this season, going 11-17.

No Limit Play on Twins -185 Two A.L. Central rivals, the Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox face off for their fourth and final game of the series. The Twins have won the first two and will get their third win of the series this afternoon. Kyle Gibson (9-4 4.24 ERA) will start for Minnesota while Dylan Covey (1-6 6.04 ERA) starts for the White Sox. In half of his 20 starts, Gibson has allowed two earned runs or less. He went seven innings and only allowed one earned run to the White Sox in his only start against them this season. Covey has gotten rocked in his last two starts, allowing 11 earned runs in just 6 2/3 innings. Cover ran into Minnesota once already this season and gave up four earned runs in six innings. Minnesota is 10-3 SU in their last 13 games against the White Sox.
07-27-19 | Astros v. Cardinals +164 | Top | 8-2 | Loss | -100 | 27 h 43 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Cardinals +164 The Houston Astros will send out Gerrit Cole (11-5 3.03 ERA) to take on the St. Louis Cardinals and Daniel Ponce de Leon (1-0 2.82 ERA). Ponce de Leon has only pitched in 38 1/3 innings this season, but has been solid in those limited innings. He has 44 strikeouts and owns a 1.12 WHIP. The Cardinals are the hottest team in baseball right now, going 12-2 SU in their last 14 games, including a current six-game winning streak. The offense has been on fire, scoring 65 runs in their last 10 games. St. Louis is 9-2 SU in their last 11 games at home against Houston and the Astros are 4-16 SU in their last 20 overall against the Cardinals. St. Louis should continue their recent dominance over Houston and keep their win streak going with a strong performance from Ponce de Leon.
07-26-19 | Giants +126 v. Padres | Top | 2-1 | Win | 126 | 30 h 38 m | Show |
No Limit Play on Giants +126 The San Francisco Giants are continuing their winning ways, winning 10 of their last 12 games. They take on the San Diego Padres tonight and have won their last five meetings between the two teams. Jeff Samardzija (7-8 4.08 ERA) gets the start for San Francisco and Joey Lucchesi (7-5 4.27 ERA) will start for San Diego. Samardzija has allowed two or less earned runs in three of his last four starts and has allowed eight earned runs in his last 26 2/3 innings (2.70 ERA). Lucchesi has struggled in the majority of his last five starts. In his last 26 innings, he has allowed 17 earned runs (5.88 ERA). San Diego is 3-7 SU in their last 10 games and the Giants are the hottest team in baseball. With Samardzija pitching better of late, the Giants should cruise to victory in this game. |
