03-26-22 |
Portland +3.5 v. Southern Utah | | 66-77 |
Loss | -110 | 7 h 19 m | Show |
The Pilots have covered 13 of their last 17 road games and 14 of 19 overall. The Thunderbirds are just 5-12 ATS following a SU win. |
03-23-22 |
Washington State +3.5 v. BYU | Top | 77-58 |
Win | 100 | 12 h 1 m | Show |
Although most trends point to an easy BYU cover. I have not been impressed with how BYU has responded after a win. Part of the reason they're in the NIT is a lack of consistency and that's what I'm banking on tonight in a game that should be close. |
03-16-22 |
Mississippi State v. Virginia -2.5 | Top | 57-60 |
Win | 100 | 10 h 17 m | Show |
The bulldogs limp into this one covering just one of their last seven games md just 3 of 12 as an underdog. The Cavaliers have always been a good bounce back team, covering 8 of their last 9 after a SU loss. |
03-15-22 |
Princeton v. VCU -6.5 | Top | 79-90 |
Win | 100 | 10 h 26 m | Show |
The 2022 NIT Tournament gets underway with two programs that could have found themselves in the NCAA Tournament. VCU is too active on defense for the Tigers to stay close. Princeton is just 1-5 ATS against teams playing above .600. |
03-13-22 |
Iowa +2.5 v. Purdue | Top | 75-66 |
Win | 100 | 5 h 19 m | Show |
Big win yesterday against Michigan State for Purdue, so it's hard to think that they'll be able to grab that intensity level again, Iowa is 16-7-2 in their last 25 neutral site games and 5 of 6 overall ATS. |
03-12-22 |
Michigan State v. Purdue -6 | Top | 70-75 |
Loss | -105 | 7 h 8 m | Show |
The Spartans have coved three straight games but still have covered just 5 of their last 13 games. Purdue hasn't covered a game since February 8th against Illinois but the Spartans haven't been a solid cover team against the better teams in the country so I don't mind laying a number that seems to be begging you to take the Spartans. |
03-10-22 |
UC-Davis v. CS-Fullerton -1.5 | Top | 55-73 |
Win | 100 | 14 h 42 m | Show |
The Aggies have covered 3 straight games while going 5-4-1 ATS in their last 10 games. Fullerton have failed to cover 6 of their last 10 but are on a nice 9-4 ATS streak following a SU win. I', riding that streak tonight. |
03-09-22 |
Syracuse +1.5 v. Florida State | Top | 96-57 |
Win | 100 | 4 h 46 m | Show |
The Orange have failed to cover 5 of 6 against the Seminoles who are on a small 3 game streak, FSU is just 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 games following an ATS win. This is too generous of a number to pass up. |
03-07-22 |
Delaware +6.5 v. Towson | Top | 69-56 |
Win | 100 | 11 h 32 m | Show |
This looks like a complete mismatch on paper but the number seems peculiar considering the Hens have failed to cover in three straight while Towson has covered twice against James Madison in convincing fashion. We see some Delaware money coming in which I think is the side as well. |
03-06-22 |
College of Charleston v. Hofstra -3.5 | Top | 92-76 |
Loss | -115 | 10 h 45 m | Show |
The Cougars have covered 5 straight games while the Pride has failed to cover four straight. We are still seeing some Hofstra money coming in because the Cougars are just 5-13-2 ATS on neutral site games as an underdog while the Pride are 6-1 in that spot. |
03-05-22 |
Mississippi State +2.5 v. Texas A&M | | 64-67 |
Loss | -110 | 9 h 17 m | Show |
There hasn't been much movement on this number but it's a bit head scratching. The Aggies has covered 3 straight games and 4 of 5. The Rebels have failed to cover 4 straight but the Bulldogs are 36-16-1 ATS after a SU loss with the dog in this series winning 7 of 10. |
03-03-22 |
UC-Davis +5.5 v. Long Beach State | | 65-68 |
Win | 100 | 9 h 1 m | Show |
UC Davis is on the list of the teams who I jump on when they're dogs. I put them in a group that has produced 79% this season. These are two teams going in opposite directions but this number seems to be begging you to take the Beach which we're not. |
03-02-22 |
Wyoming +1.5 v. UNLV | Top | 57-64 |
Loss | -110 | 11 h 17 m | Show |
We have been following the Cowboys as a dog for quite some time now because the Cowboys have been on an incredible 23-5 ATS run as a road dog. UNLV hasn't been a good bounce-back team after a big loss at home. |
03-02-22 |
George Mason +7.5 v. Davidson | Top | 62-73 |
Loss | -110 | 8 h 6 m | Show |
The Patriots are one of those teams I've been riding as an underdog for a while now, with tonight being no exception. George Mason has won 4 straight as a road dog and is 6-0-1 ATS in their last 7 as a dog overall. The Wildcats are just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 as a favorite. |
03-02-22 |
Rutgers +5.5 v. Indiana | Top | 66-63 |
Win | 100 | 8 h 59 m | Show |
Once again, we're going to go back to one of my favorite trends for this easy winner. Rutgers as a dog has been a fantastic follow winning 7 of their last 8 with a push. They are on a small 3-1-1 ATS run as a road dog, while the Hoosiers have dropped 5 straight vs a team with a winning SU record. |
03-01-22 |
Arizona v. USC +5 | Top | 91-71 |
Loss | -110 | 10 h 51 m | Show |
The Trojans have always been a team that I like to play as a dog, especially at home. USC has covered 5 straight games as a dog overall and 5-1 ATS at home when they are playing a team that is playing .600 ball or more. USC wins this outright. |
03-01-22 |
Providence +9.5 v. Villanova | Top | 74-76 |
Win | 100 | 7 h 39 m | Show |
Providence is another team I like to play when they're an underdog. Providence is 9-1 ATS as a dog and a perfect 6-0 ATS as a road dog. The Wildcats are just 2-5 ATS as a favorite in their last 7 and just 1-3-1 ATS overall. |
02-28-22 |
Kansas State +12.5 v. Texas Tech | Top | 68-73 |
Win | 100 | 11 h 19 m | Show |
The Wildcats are one of those teams who I like to play when they're a large underdogs, cashing 10 of 14 as an underdog. They are also 9-2 as a road dog in their last 11. I'm going to continue following this trend as I have all season. |
02-28-22 |
San Diego State v. Wyoming +2.5 | Top | 73-66 |
Loss | -110 | 11 h 15 m | Show |
This is another selection backed by a trend that has cashed an exact 80% this season. The Cowboys have been a terrific underdog this season and have been on the 'play on' underdog list most of the season. The Cowboys are now 24-7 ATS as an underdog, including 5 of 6 at home. |
02-27-22 |
Montana State +1 v. Montana | | 74-80 |
Loss | -110 | 6 h 21 m | Show |
Montana State is one of those teams that I love to jump on as a dog, even as a small dog. The Bobcats have covered 4 of their last 5 games on the road. |
02-27-22 |
Long Beach State +7.5 v. Cal-Irvine | Top | 72-77 |
Win | 100 | 15 h 52 m | Show |
The Beach have been a terrific underdog selection this season, especially when I think they can win outright. The Beach are a sparkling 22-8 ATS this season and 19-7 ATS as an underdog. The Anteaters are just 3-7-1 in their last 11 games ATS. |
02-26-22 |
USC +4 v. Oregon | Top | 70-69 |
Win | 100 | 13 h 59 m | Show |
This is the time of year when I like to find underdogs that I feel can win outright, and that's exactly what we have here. The 16th ranked Trojans have somehow found themselves an underdog, but that's fine because this is a clear oversight. The Trojans are 11-3 ATS in their last 14 road games, expect them to improve on that tonight. |
02-26-22 |
Portland +10.5 v. Santa Clara | Top | 89-102 |
Loss | -110 | 8 h 3 m | Show |
The Pilots are getting double digits in this one and that's very generous of the bookmakers. Portland is now 13-3 ATS s an underdog and 13-3 ATS on the road. Santa Clara has never shown that they can get separation from the teams they should handle easy. |
02-26-22 |
Cleveland State +1.5 v. Oakland | Top | 57-65 |
Loss | -110 | 6 h 7 m | Show |
The Vikings are a team that I like to take when they're an underdog, especially when i think they can win outright. The Vikings are 10-3 overall as an underdog and 9-3 ATS after SU loss. The Golden Grizzlies have now dropped 10 of their last 11 games ATS. |
02-25-22 |
St. Peter's +4.5 v. Monmouth | Top | 70-65 |
Win | 100 | 7 h 11 m | Show |
I like to play St. Peters as a dog and they're a juicy one tonight, meaning they can win this game outright. The Peacocks are 34-16 as a dog and 47-23 as a road dog. The Hawks have failed to cover 5 of their last 6 at home ATS. |
02-23-22 |
Mississippi State v. South Carolina +2.5 | | 56-66 |
Win | 100 | 9 h 42 m | Show |
The Bulldogs are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games and just 1-6 ATS as a road favorite. The Gamecocks have covered 4 straight and 5-1 after a ATS cover. |
02-21-22 |
New Mexico State v. Seattle University +3 | Top | 68-55 |
Loss | -110 | 11 h 24 m | Show |
Seattle has been terrific this season at home, covering 10 of their last 13 with a push. The Redhawks are also 15-7 ATS against teams with a winning SU record. The Aggies are just 5-11 ATS following a ATS win. |
02-21-22 |
Florida State v. Boston College +1.5 | Top | 55-71 |
Win | 100 | 8 h 30 m | Show |
The Seminoles have been a horrific road wager all season long, failing to cover 15 of their last 20 road trips with a push. The Eagles are 6-2 ATS after an ATS loss. BC will bounce back after a blowout against Syracuse. |
02-21-22 |
Penn State +3 v. Maryland | Top | 61-67 |
Loss | -110 | 8 h 17 m | Show |
The Lions are 7-2 ATS following an ATS win and have covered 7 of their last 10 overall. They are one of the better defensive teams in College Basketball while Maryland tends to play play up to their level of competition to much to put your money behind. |
02-21-22 |
UTEP v. Middle Tennessee -5.5 | Top | 59-77 |
Win | 100 | 8 h 9 m | Show |
This is an obvious winner. I expect the public to be all over UTEP with the Miners being a solid ATS wager of late but we can't overlook what the Blue Raiders have done covering 18 of their last 24 games with a 2 pushes. |
02-21-22 |
Georgia Tech v. Syracuse -8.5 | Top | 73-74 |
Loss | -110 | 8 h 57 m | Show |
The Orange has been exceptional against teams with a losing record, covering 6 of their last 7. The Yellow Jackets are just 6-13-2 ATS overall. |
02-20-22 |
Washington State +7.5 v. USC | | 60-62 |
Win | 100 | 6 h 56 m | Show |
The Cougars have a tendency to play up to the level of their competition which compes me to take the generous points. USC has failed to cover 9 of their last 11 home games. |
02-20-22 |
Rutgers +13 v. Purdue | | 72-84 |
Win | 100 | 3 h 27 m | Show |
Rutgers has covered 7 straight games as an underdog and 5 straight overall. Purdue had failed to cover in 4 of 5 against teams with a losing SU road record. |
02-20-22 |
George Mason v. Fordham +6 | | 47-50 |
Win | 100 | 1 h 48 m | Show |
The Rams are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 home games and 7-1 as a home dog. The Patriots have not been a reliable road favorite for a long time |
02-20-22 |
Missouri State v. Northern Iowa -1.5 | | 75-95 |
Win | 100 | 1 h 32 m | Show |
I am going to ride Northern Iowa at home for a bit. They've covered 5 of their last 7 at home and 5 of 7 overall. The Bears have not been a reliable road bet. |
02-18-22 |
Columbia v. Harvard -15.5 | | 54-62 |
Loss | -110 | 6 h 17 m | Show |
I expect Harvard to bounceback after suffering three straight losses to team that were simply better. This is a case where the Harvard is light years better than Columbia. They beat them by 20. |
02-18-22 |
Princeton -2 v. Brown | | 69-50 |
Win | 100 | 6 h 8 m | Show |
The Tigers have been a terrific road favorite (19-9) especially against the below average teams, which Brown is. The Bears have failed to cover 9 of their last 13 games and five straight at home. |
02-18-22 |
Pennsylvania v. Yale -3.5 | | 72-81 |
Win | 100 | 6 h 0 m | Show |
The home team in this series has covered 7 of their last 8 meetings with the favorite 18-6-4. We're getting a good number here and the Bulldogs are simply 5-7 points better. |
02-18-22 |
Richmond +3.5 v. VCU | | 57-77 |
Loss | -110 | 6 h 53 m | Show |
Richmond is starting to be a reliable wager on the road, covering 4 of their last 5. They are even more reliable against the better teams at home, covering 9 of their last 14 games. VCU isn't the kind of home advantage that will change that. |
02-18-22 |
Butler v. St. John's -7.5 | | 57-91 |
Win | 100 | 5 h 47 m | Show |
This is a conference where I like to fade the public and that's what I'm going to do here. This is a system that has produced 63% winners. Everyone is on Butler with 81% of the spread tickets coming in on the Bulldogs. |
02-17-22 |
Washington State +9.5 v. UCLA | | 56-76 |
Loss | -110 | 10 h 52 m | Show |
Conference games when you have an unranked team vs a ranked opponent has made a lot of money for bettors over the years, especially when you're getting more than 9.5 points as we are in this situation. The public is all over the bruins, we're going the other way. |
02-17-22 |
Colorado v. California +2.5 | | 70-62 |
Loss | -110 | 8 h 0 m | Show |
The Golden Bears have been a fantastic bet at home this season, covering 11 of their last 15 games and 17 of their last 25 overall. They are playing the Buffaloes who have been one of the worst road teams ATS for years. |
02-17-22 |
SIU-Edwardsville v. Tennessee State -4.5 | | 65-81 |
Win | 100 | 8 h 34 m | Show |
Tennessee State is one of the teams that I back at home, especially as a short favorite. The Tigers have covered 5 of their last 6 home games and 5-2-1 overall. |
02-17-22 |
Michigan v. Iowa -5 | | 84-79 |
Loss | -110 | 6 h 42 m | Show |
The Hawkeyes have covered 6 of their last 8 games and are on a 31-15-3 ATS at home. The Hawkeyes have always been an automatic play at home for me. |
02-17-22 |
Old Dominion +2 v. Marshall | | 63-67 |
Loss | -110 | 5 h 21 m | Show |
This is a great spot to fade the public. In conference games, when the public is all on one side, it's time to grab the underdog. The Monarchs are 7-3 ATS against teams who are playing less than .400 basketball. |
02-17-22 |
Towson v. NC-Wilmington +3 | Top | 79-55 |
Loss | -110 | 5 h 12 m | Show |
The Seahawks are one of the teams I like to jump on as an underdog. The dog is 21-5 ATS in their last 26 meetings. |
02-11-22 |
Northern Kentucky -7 v. Green Bay | | 71-62 |
Win | 100 | 6 h 18 m | Show |
Tye Norse have covered 7 of their last 8 games and 4 of 5 road games. The Phoenix are 2-5ATS as a home underdog. |
02-10-22 |
Iowa v. Maryland +4.5 | | 110-87 |
Loss | -104 | 5 h 22 m | Show |
The Terps are coming off a loss to Ohio State in which they dropped to 11-12 on the season and 3-9 in conference play. This marks the first time since the 2013-14 season that the Terps are below .500. Maryland now has eight regular-season matchups to try to get above that mark. The first opponent on that slate is Iowa. This number looks a little suspect to me, |
02-10-22 |
Illinois-Chicago v. Cleveland State -9.5 | | 76-75 |
Loss | -110 | 5 h 14 m | Show |
The Flames are in the midst of 1-6-1 ATS run after a SU loss, but the head scratching number that suggest that the books want you to take the points. |
02-09-22 |
Yale v. Harvard -1.5 | Top | 62-59 |
Loss | -110 | 6 h 21 m | Show |
The Crimson has been a reliable 21-10-2 ATS after a SU loss, while the Bulldogs are just 2-8 ATS after a SU win. They're also just 3-11 ATS against teams with a winning record. |
02-08-22 |
Utah State +1 v. Wyoming | | 76-78 |
Loss | -108 | 7 h 38 m | Show |
The Aggies are 17-8 ATS in their last 25 games after a ATS win, the road team in this series have covered 7 straight games. |
02-08-22 |
Manhattan v. Rider -2.5 | | 67-76 |
Win | 100 | 5 h 54 m | Show |
Rider is starting to turn into a team that has been a reliable wager with 4 winners in their last 6 games with a push. The Jaspers have failed to cover 4 of their last 5 games. |
02-08-22 |
Western Michigan v. Miami-OH -9.5 | | 57-62 |
Loss | -105 | 5 h 46 m | Show |
The Broncos are just 7-20-1 ATS against teams with a losing record in addition to a 2-5-1 ATS current streak on the road. |
02-08-22 |
North Carolina +1 v. Clemson | | 79-77 |
Win | 100 | 3 h 25 m | Show |
The Tar Heels re going to bounce right back after their last game against Duke that saw them drop a 20 point decision. I'm sure the public will be all over the Tigers but we're going the other way. |
02-03-22 |
Nicholls State -9.5 v. Incarnate Word | | 63-60 |
Loss | -109 | 8 h 4 m | Show |
The Colonels are starting to be a reliable road team after covering 4 of their last 5 games. The Cardinals are just 3-9 ATS as a dog. |
02-02-22 |
Tulane +17 v. Houston | | 62-73 |
Win | 100 | 11 h 8 m | Show |
With a game against Cincinnati on the Horizon, I think we'll find the Cougars looking ahead. They'll win this by double digits but the 17 is too much. |
02-01-22 |
UC-Davis +5.5 v. Cal-Riverside | | 65-60 |
Win | 100 | 10 h 49 m | Show |
This is a game that Davis can win outright. Cal-Riverside can't be relied on to come back when down because they are one of the worst 3-pt shooting team in the country. Davis the better offensive team in this one. |
02-01-22 |
South Carolina +8.5 v. Mississippi State | Top | 64-78 |
Loss | -110 | 7 h 42 m | Show |
The South Carolina defense is one of the best in the country. They'd be a force on the national scene if they could limit their turnovers. This number is too high, they have a chance to win outright. |
01-31-22 |
Northern Colorado v. Portland State +4 | | 76-79 |
Win | 100 | 11 h 4 m | Show |
Northern Colordo is one of the worst defensive teams in College Basketball, allowing almost 46% shooting against this season. |
01-31-22 |
Northern Arizona +13.5 v. Southern Utah | | 66-78 |
Win | 100 | 8 h 43 m | Show |
This is a headscratching number. This looks like the books are begging you to take Northern Arziona. Both of these teams are horrible on the defensive end which is going to keep this game within the number. |
01-31-22 |
UMKC +6.5 v. Western Illinois | | 83-75 |
Win | 100 | 7 h 23 m | Show |
The Kangaroos are one of the better defensive teas in CBB, which makes me comfortable getting 6.5 points with a teams that could win straight up. |
01-30-22 |
Pittsburgh +4 v. Boston College | | 56-69 |
Loss | -110 | 2 h 21 m | Show |
Boston College is coming off of a couple of bad losses against Wake Forest and UNC that saw them shoot a terrible combined 29% from the field, and an even worse combined 17% from beyond the arc. Pitt hasn’t fared much better in the ACC this season, matching BC’s 3-6 conference record. But at least the Panthers have won 3 of their last 6, including an earlier victory over the Eagles on January 8th. |
01-30-22 |
Quinnipiac +2 v. Siena | | 76-85 |
Loss | -107 | 1 h 40 m | Show |
There's a clear talent and coaching edge in this one. Siena's offense is one of the worst in the nation. |
01-29-22 |
Eastern Washington v. Montana -6 | | 59-61 |
Loss | -110 | 7 h 15 m | Show |
The Grizzlies are 9-2 ats in their last 11 games as a favorite. They've also covered six of their last home games. |
01-29-22 |
South Florida v. Tulsa -5.5 | Top | 45-76 |
Win | 100 | 6 h 3 m | Show |
Tulsa ranks second in three-point field goal percentage (40.7), third in turnovers per game (11.2), fourth in assist-turnover ratio (1.45), 15th in fewest turnovers (157), 20th in three-point field goals made per game (8.9), 20th in won-lost percentage (85.7), 30th in three-point field goals made (124), 32nd in field goal percentage (45.1), 35th in free throw percentage (76.3), 37th in turnover margin (4.79), 43rd in scoring offense (74.1), 49th in scoring margin (13.4). That's really all that needs to be said. This is a complete mismatch. |
01-29-22 |
California v. USC -12 | | 72-79 |
Loss | -110 | 5 h 57 m | Show |
Cal is on a six-game losing streak because it can’t score. Even when it does have a little luck putting up points, it’s only because the games are already over. USC will destroy the Bears on the boards – it out-rebounded them 38-24 the first time around – and there won’t be any real problems scoring on the inside. The loss to Stanford a few days ago should only make things worse for Cal. The Trojans weren’t bad, but they never got into a rhythm. That won’t be a problem. There won’t be enough happening from the outside to matter, and Cal won’t get the rebound in way too many one-and-done possessions. |
01-29-22 |
NC-Greensboro v. Wofford -6.5 | | 66-85 |
Win | 100 | 5 h 44 m | Show |
Wofford shoots almost 47% from the field while the Spartans are a team you can't rely on offensively. The Terriers win this by double digits. |
01-29-22 |
Connecticut -8.5 v. DePaul | | 57-50 |
Loss | -110 | 4 h 20 m | Show |
As UConn continues to gain attention as the season rolls on, there have been a number of reasons for the success, but perhaps none greater than the team’s ability to rebound. The Huskies rank fifth in NCAA Division I in total rebounds per game with 42.11. They rank fourth in offensive rebounds per game with 14.4. The number of times a second-chance opportunity has come from an offensive rebound this season has been too many to count. When the Huskies’ offense has struggled, second-chance opportunities have kept them in the game until the offense wakes up. |
01-29-22 |
North Alabama v. Kennesaw State -6.5 | Top | 71-58 |
Loss | -108 | 4 h 7 m | Show |
The Owls are one of the better offensive teams in the country which is our edge in this one. I don't think a team that barely shoots 40%, like the Lions, can stay with the Owls. |
01-29-22 |
Florida A&M -1.5 v. Alabama A&M | Top | 65-60 |
Win | 100 | 4 h 33 m | Show |
The Bulldogs are one of the worst shooting teams in college basketball, averaging just 57 points a game on just 37% shooting. The Rattlers aren't much better but I think they're good enough to shut the Bulldogs down the stretch. |
01-28-22 |
Marist v. Quinnipiac -1 | | 87-94 |
Win | 100 | 7 h 40 m | Show |
i think this is a coaching mismatch as I'll put my money behind the Bobcats who are more efficient on offense. |
01-28-22 |
Fairfield -2 v. Rider | | 76-65 |
Win | 100 | 6 h 28 m | Show |
Can't bet a team, Rider, that shoots 39% from the field. Fairfield is good enough to put distance between the two. |
01-28-22 |
Rhode Island v. Dayton -6 | | 51-53 |
Loss | -110 | 6 h 5 m | Show |
The Dayton Flyers look to stay hot when they battle the Rhode Island Rams in a key Atlantic 10 Conference matchup on Friday night. The Flyers (13-7, 5-2), who have won five of six, are coming off a 68-61 win over Fordham on Tuesday. The Rams (12-6, 3-3), who have dropped two in a row, fell to Richmond 70-63 on Tuesday. Dayton has posted wins in four of the last five meetings with Rhode Island. |
01-28-22 |
Wyoming -7 v. Air Force | | 63-61 |
Loss | -110 | 5 h 16 m | Show |
Is there any comparison on the offensive end between these two. The Cowboys average 78 points a game and although the tempo will be slower than normal for this match-up, the Falcons can't even be counted on for 60 points. |
01-28-22 |
Pennsylvania v. Harvard -3.5 | | 78-74 |
Loss | -106 | 4 h 23 m | Show |
Harvard has been winning the turnover battle all season. The Crimson force 16.2 turnovers per game, which leads the Ivy League and ranks 29th in the country. That has helped Harvard lead the conference and rank 23rd in the nation in turnover margin (4.1 per game). In addition, Noah Kirkwood is making a case to be Ivy League Player of the Year. In his last five games, the senior from Ontario is averaging 21.4 points a game while shooting 50.6 percent from the field and adding 6.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists. On Saturday at Cornell he led Harvard in points (18) and assists (four) while also grabbing five rebounds, which tied for the team high. |

BYU -2.5 v. Santa Clara | | 76-77 |
Loss | -110 | 10 h 24 m | Show |
The Cougars are one of the better defensive teams in the country, allowing just 40% FG against. If they take care of the ball against an equally sloppy Broncos team, the Cougars should run away with this one.. |
01-27-22 |
Pepperdine v. San Diego -7.5 | | 56-64 |
Win | 100 | 9 h 60 m | Show |
San Diego is one of the best defensive teams in College Basketball, allowing just 62 ppg. Pepperdine is the opposite on defense allowing over 75 PPG. I can't see the Wave staying within the number. |
01-27-22 |
Long Beach State v. Cal-Riverside -4.5 | | 68-62 |
Loss | -110 | 9 h 53 m | Show |
The UC Riverside Highlanders enter this game in fantastic form as they have won each of their last three games including a ten-point road victory against the Cal State Northridge Matadors in their last game. In that game, UC Riverside's offense was productive as it scored 77 points while shooting 48.1% from the floor and 39.4% from the three-point line. |
01-27-22 |
UAB -2.5 v. Western Kentucky | | 68-65 |
Win | 100 | 8 h 17 m | Show |
The UAB Blazers lead the Conference USA West Division with a record of 16-4overall and 6-1 in the conference. Their only conference loss came at Rice on January 8, but since then, they have win 3 straight. The last two wins have their best of the season as they beat Conference USA East leader Florida Atlantic 76-65 on January 15, and followed that up with an 83-76 win at Louisiana Tech in their last game on January 22. |
01-27-22 |
Purdue v. Iowa +2.5 | | 83-73 |
Loss | -110 | 8 h 47 m | Show |
#6 Purdue’s first win against the Hawkeyes, 77-70, came with an asterisk. Despite the homecourt advantage and a big lead in the second half, the Hawkeye’s press gave Purdue’s offense fits again and pulled the game to within one possession late. All of this was with Coach McCaffrey missing his best player, Keegan Murray. |
01-27-22 |
William & Mary +8.5 v. Elon | | 54-61 |
Win | 100 | 6 h 38 m | Show |
Elon is one of the worst defensive teams in the country, allowing almost 75 points a game. The Tribe needs to cut down on TO's, if they do, they'll stay within this number. |
01-27-22 |
Arkansas State +3.5 v. Appalachian State | | 54-61 |
Loss | -105 | 6 h 6 m | Show |
The Red Wolves are extremely well coached which is why most of their offensive trips result in good looks. App State is too sloppy for me to put my money behind. |
01-26-22 |
Boston College v. North Carolina -13 | Top | 47-58 |
Loss | -115 | 7 h 56 m | Show |
On Monday, the Tar Heels came out on top in a back-and-forth game against the Virginia Tech Hokies. Although they shot 33 percent in the second half, they rose from a four-point halftime lead to win 78-68. Say home-court advantage is a hoax all you want, but the environment of the Dean E. Smith Center is what this North Carolina team feeds off of, evidenced by its 10-0 record in Chapel Hill. The tar Heels lay it on the Eagles in this one. |
01-25-22 |
Colorado v. Oregon -8 | | 82-78 |
Loss | -108 | 8 h 22 m | Show |
Oregon might not be ranked at the moment, but the Ducks are sure playing like a Top 25 team. After a road sweep of UCLA and Southern California when both Los Angeles schools were ranked in the top five, Oregon waited a week to play its next game due to a COVID-19 pause by Washington State. Then, the Ducks led by 38 early in the second half Sunday of their 84-56 rout of Pac-12 Conference rival Washington in Eugene, Ore. Oregon will try to maintain that form on Tuesday night when it hosts Colorado. |
01-25-22 |
Syracuse -4 v. Pittsburgh | | 53-64 |
Loss | -112 | 6 h 50 m | Show |
The Orangemen will run away with this win using a superior offense. The Panthers are no match to keep pace with Syracuse. The panthers are once of the worst offensive teams in College Basketball, they'll show why tonight. |
01-25-22 |
Siena v. Iona -14.5 | | 57-74 |
Win | 100 | 5 h 0 m | Show |
Iona is a well coached basketball who are a real good ball movement team. They get a lot of buckets in the half court and transition. I just can't see the 311th ranked defense that Siena has staying with the Gaels. |
01-25-22 |
Western Michigan v. Kent State -11 | | 64-75 |
Push | 0 | 5 h 33 m | Show |
The Western Michigan Broncos get set to take on Kent State Golden Flashes with an overall record of 4-14. Team-Rankings.com power rankings place the Broncos as the 336th best team in college basketball. The Broncos are coming off a losing effort against Bowling Green, falling by a score of 82-75. On the season, Western Michigan holds a record of 2-7. Through 18 games, the Broncos are averaging 65.9 points per game. Giving them a rank of 307th in college basketball. Defensively, they are the 335th ranked team, allowing 77.9 points per contest. That about sums it up. |
01-24-22 |
Jacksonville +4 v. Kennesaw State | | 68-76 |
Loss | -110 | 7 h 59 m | Show |
Jacksonville is one of the best defensive teams in college Basketball, allowing just 57.7 points per game. The pace will feel like a Virginia game but Jacksonville gets the outright win and cover. |
01-23-22 |
Rider v. Niagara -6.5 | Top | 70-67 |
Loss | -110 | 3 h 9 m | Show |
The Purple Eagles will cover this spread because they are one of the better shooting teams from beyond the arc. The Broncs don't have the ability to keep up, shooting just 31% from beyond the arc. Niagara pulls away in the second half. |
01-21-22 |
Toledo v. Ohio -4.5 | Top | 87-69 |
Loss | -106 | 4 h 40 m | Show |
The Ohio Bobcats are perfect 5-0 in MAC play and have only lost twice all season, compiling a record of 14-2 overall. Additionally, Ohio has won 9 -straight and their last loss was on December 1st when they lost to 13th ranked LSU 66-51. Their only other loss was back in November at Kentucky, who beat them 77-59. On Tuesday, Ohio destroyed Miami of Ohio on the road 86-63. Ben Vander Plas led the way with 23 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block, and 4 three pointers. Mark Sears added 17 points, 9 assists and 3 steals while Jason Carter had 13 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals. |
01-20-22 |
UC-Davis -4 v. CS-Northridge | | 64-47 |
Win | 100 | 7 h 33 m | Show |
UC Davi isn't the greatest team in College Basketball, but the Matadors are undeniably one of the worst offensive teams in Colle Basketball. Northridge isn't well coached and is lucky to shoot 40% on a typical night. |
01-20-22 |
Marshall v. Florida International +3 | Top | 66-70 |
Win | 100 | 4 h 55 m | Show |
In the end, Florida International is a better defensive team, allowing just 39.8% FG against this season while the Thundering Hurd will get exposed as they allow the opposition to shoot in the 45% range. |
01-16-22 |
Bradley v. Illinois State +2.5 | | 65-74 |
Win | 100 | 5 h 42 m | Show |
Illinois State puts up 80 points a game so it's difficult to believe that the Braves, who are a 70-point team, can match. |
01-11-22 |
New Mexico v. UNLV -5.5 | | 56-85 |
Win | 100 | 8 h 46 m | Show |
This simply comes down to defense and the Rebels are a much better defensive team than the Lobos. I'll even go as far to say that they're better coached with Kevin Kruger. |
01-06-22 |
Seattle University -9.5 v. Chicago State | Top | 93-77 |
Win | 100 | 5 h 55 m | Show |
In games played through Jan. 3, Seattle U ranks among the nation's top 50 in five team categories: 15th in 3-pt FG per game (10.5)19th in 3-pt FGs made (137)32nd in 3-pt FG attempts (371)42nd in turnover margin (3.5)45th in assist to turnover ratio (1.33) |
01-06-22 |
Tenn-Martin v. Tennessee State -5 | Top | 94-78 |
Loss | -110 | 4 h 24 m | Show |
Tennessee State is one of the better offenses in College Basketball as they face one of the worst defenses. Tennessee State isn't much better but I'm not sure Martin has the ability to exploit State's weakness. |
01-06-22 |
Binghamton v. Albany -4 | Top | 88-79 |
Loss | -110 | 4 h 5 m | Show |
Back to my old stomping grounds for this match-up. The Great Danes are one of the bets in College Basketball in limiting opponents possesions which works in their hands because Binghamtion isn't a team that will push the pace. Albany opens this one up in the second half. |
01-05-22 |
Davidson v. St. Joe's +4.5 | | 88-73 |
Loss | -101 | 5 h 16 m | Show |
Davidson's last three games have been canceled as COVID cases have slowed down the team's momentum. They;ve won 9-straight games but I'm not counting a win over Johnson and Wales, whoever they are, This number is begging you to take Davidson but we're smarter than than. |
01-05-22 |
DePaul v. St. John's -4.5 | | 84-89 |
Win | 100 | 5 h 12 m | Show |
The Blue Demons lost their first two conference games against Butler and Providence. This has perpetuated the narrative that they are solid in non-conference, but can’t ever perform well when it comes to the Big East. Wednesday will be another chance for DePaul to somewhat abolish that narrative. St. John’s was one of the higher ranked Big East teams in the Big East preseason poll, but underperformed in its non-conference schedule. I still think that the Red Storm are one of the more underrated teams in the stacked Big East, so a win inside Carnesecca for the Blue Demons would be huge but unfortunately that's is not what's going to happen. |
01-04-22 |
Kansas v. Oklahoma State +7 | | 74-63 |
Loss | -110 | 7 h 60 m | Show |
The Cowboys could be shorthanded for the game, though, as they are still dealing with COVID issues. Oklahoma State had its game against Texas Tech this past Saturday postponed due to COVID issues. According to Eli Lederman of the Tulsa World, Oklahoma State head coach Mike Boynton said the team was “hit hard” by COVID in late December. Boynton does not expect to have a full complement of players available on Tuesday night. Despite this, the number is only 7. I've done this enough to know that this doesn't look right. |
