01-28-23 | Missouri State v. Murray State OVER 132 | Top | 71-74 | Win | 100 | 5 h 49 m | Show |
There's no doubt that the Missouri State has been a terrific over team of late, but the number seems to be begging you to take the under. The Racers have gone over the total six straight games and we're betting it will be a seventh here.

01-16-23 | Syracuse v. Miami-FL OVER 149.5 | Top | 78-82 | Win | 100 | 7 h 28 m | Show |
At age 78 and in his 47th season of coaching Syracuse, Jim Boeheim doesn't have time for anything less than brutal honesty. Asked recently about starting forward Benny Williams, Boeheim was blunt. "He's been focused on shooting jump shots, and he's not a good enough shooter to shoot a lot of jump shots," Boeheim said. "I don't know how he's feeling. Go ask him. I'm sure he's not happy. Nobody's happy when you don't play well." Williams will be one of the keys for the Orange (12-6, 5-2) when they visit No. 16 Miami (14-3, 5-2) in an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup on Monday night. Some key trends for Monday's game favor the Hurricanes, who have a 10-0 home record. Syracuse has a 2-2 road record, and the Orange have lost two straight games to Miami. However, Syracuse is 9-2 in its past 11 games overall. The Orange had four scorers in double figures on Saturday in a 78-73 win over Notre Dame. Meanwhile, the Hurricanes have their own legendary coach -- 73-year-old Jim Larranaga, who took Miami to the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight last year, the deepest advance in program history. Miami this season is led by four double-digit scorers: Isaiah Wong (17.2 ppg), Jordan Miller (14.9), Norchad Omier (13.9) and Nijel Pack (11.4).
01-15-23 | Kings v. Spurs UNDER 247 | Top | 132-119 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 26 m | Show |
The Sacramento Kings look to build on a three-game winning streak and on their best start in 17 years when they square off against the struggling San Antonio Spurs on Sunday in the Alamo City. The matchup is between the highest-scoring team in the NBA (Sacramento) and the squad that allows the most points in the league (San Antonio). The Kings (23-18) are five games over .500 for the first time since 2006, which is also the most recent year Sacramento has earned a spot in the postseason. The Kings head to Texas after a 139-114 home win over Houston on Friday -- the second win over the Rockets in a two-day span. Domantas Sabonis had 19 points, 15 rebounds and a career-high 16 assists to produce his fourth triple-double of the season and set the pace for Sacramento. Harrison Barnes had a team-high 27 points for the Kings, De'Aaron Fox added 24, Terence Davis scored 22, Malik Monk hit for 15 and Trey Lyles tallied 13 off the bench as Sacramento shot 54.7 percent from the floor and canned 20 of their 40 3-point attempts. The victory was punctuated by the fourth-quarter ejections of the Kings' Monk and Chimezie Metu and Houston's Garrison Mathews and Tari Eason when two pairs tussled after Matthews fouled Monk during the chase for a loose ball.
01-15-23 | Marquette v. Xavier OVER 162.5 | Top | 76-80 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 42 m | Show |
If the saying is true that defense wins championships and offense sells tickets, No. 12 Xavier and No. 25 Marquette should be expecting a sold-out crowd when they meet on Sunday in Cincinnati. The Musketeers (14-3, 6-0 Big East) and Golden Eagles (14-4, 6-1) wield the two highest-scoring offenses in the Big East, and neither team has shown any signs of slowing down. Xavier is averaging a conference-best 84.4 points per game and is coming off its 10th consecutive victory after downing Creighton 90-87 on Wednesday. The Bluejays pulled within one with two seconds remaining when Trey Alexander hit a 3-pointer, but Souley Boum converted a pair of free throws shortly after to seal the win. Boum led all scorers with 26 points, Colby Jones supplied 20 and Jack Nunge chipped in 15 to go along with 12 rebounds as the Musketeers scored at least 80 points for the fourth straight game. Jones attributes Xavier's recent success to first-year head coach Sean Miller, who came to the Musketeers after 12 seasons at Arizona.
01-14-23 | Boise State v. Wyoming OVER 132.5 | Top | 85-68 | Win | 100 | 8 h 52 m | Show |
Wyoming is scoring a rate similar to the NCAA average at 73.0 points per game. This figure has come despite struggling to knock down shots from outside. Through 16 games, they have only hit 34.3% of their 3-point field goal attempts. For the season, 43.12% of their shots have come from beyond the arc.
01-14-23 | Air Force v. Fresno State OVER 123 | Top | 51-48 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 32 m | Show |
The Air Force Falcons have been playing well and were able to pick up an 85-74 overtime road victory against the Colorado State Rams. They dominated in the overtime period as they outscored Colorado State 20-9. They shot the ball extremely well as they were 31-of-61 (50.8 percent) overall, 7-of-19 (36.8 percent) from the three, and 19 free-throw attempts. Freshman guard Marcell McCreary led the team as in 37 minutes he finished with 26 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two turnovers. Defensively, they need to continue what they are doing as they allowed 43.9 percent from the floor and 25 from deep here. Air Force did decently well as they finished with six steals and two blocks throughout the game.
01-14-23 | Colorado State v. UNLV OVER 144 | Top | 82-81 | Win | 100 | 5 h 26 m | Show |
The Rams are performing well this season, ranking 117th in the country with 75.1 points scored per game, shooting an impressive 49.4 percent from the field, and dishing out 18.1 assists per contest. They are 226th in the nation in points allowed on defense (70.5 per game). With 2.3 blocks and 6.6 steals per game so far, the Rams need to improve. It didn't help that the Rebels gave up 53 points in the second half after a humiliating 84-66 home loss to the Boise State Broncos. They shot the ball reasonably effectively, finishing the game shooting 43.5 percent overall, 31.6 percent from beyond the arc, and making 14 of their 18 free throw attempts.
01-14-23 | Notre Dame v. Syracuse OVER 140 | Top | 73-78 | Win | 100 | 5 h 8 m | Show |
Syracuse is coming off a notable performance. Notre Dame finally won an Atlantic Coast Conference game. One team will end up with consecutive victories when they meet Saturday night in Syracuse, N.Y. Syracuse (11-6, 4-2 ACC) has a chance to stay in the upper part of the league standings if it can pull off a season sweep of the Irish. Yet it hasn't been smooth for the Orange along the way. "We've got to get a lot better," coach Jim Boeheim said. "We're a long ways away." Notre Dame (9-8, 1-5) snapped a three-game losing streak by winning 73-72 in overtime earlier this week at home vs. Georgia Tech. "We've still got 14 more games to prove it and get back on tr
01-14-23 | Jackson State v. Prairie View A&M UNDER 138 | Top | 50-59 | Win | 100 | 5 h 19 m | Show |
Offensive production has been hard to come by for Prairie View A&M this season, as they are currently ranked 252nd in college basketball at 69.5 points per game. A major reason for low scoring totals is the fact that they have played at a below average pace, and have struggled to knock down outside shots. As a team, the Panthers’ 3-point shooting percentage sits at just 34.7%, placing them 201st in the NCAA.
01-14-23 | Rhode Island v. Massachusetts OVER 144 | Top | 65-75 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 49 m | Show |

01-13-23 | Pelicans v. Pistons UNDER 235 | Top | 116-110 | Win | 100 | 7 h 4 m | Show |
The New Orleans Pelicans go from one extreme to the other in their current five-game road trip. The Boston Celtics notched their NBA-best 30th victory with a 125-114 win over the Pelicans on Wednesday. New Orleans now visits Detroit on Friday -- the Pistons lead the league in losses with 33. The Pelicans have the Western Conference's third-best record but have lost five of their last seven games. They're trying to survive without two of their top players, as Zion Williamson (hamstring) and Brandon Ingram (toe contusion) remain out indefinitely. New Orleans stuck close most of the way in Boston behind CJ McCollum, who poured in 38 points.
01-13-23 | Manhattan v. Mt. St. Mary's UNDER 128 | Top | 62-57 | Win | 100 | 7 h 18 m | Show |

01-12-23 | Stanford v. Washington OVER 135 | Top | 69-86 | Win | 100 | 9 h 54 m | Show |
Stanford and Washington look to turn around slow starts in conference play when they meet in a Pac-12 game Thursday night at Seattle. Each will take the court saddled with a losing streak, with the Cardinal (5-10, 0-5) having dropped three straight overall and all five conference games. The Huskies (9-8, 1-5) have lost five in a row overall and each of their last four Pac-12 contests. Stanford's slow start reached its low point Friday at California when the rival Golden Bears exploded for 92 points in a 22-point home win. Cal had struggled on offense all season. If there was a positive in the loss to Cal, it was that the Cardinal shot 50 percent from the field. Senior Spencer Jones, who had 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting, expects more of the same moving forward.
01-12-23 | San Francisco v. Portland UNDER 148.5 | Top | 87-92 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 52 m | Show |
Portland is scoring a rate similar to the NCAA average at 73.9 points per game. This figure has come despite struggling to knock down shots from outside. Through 18 games, they have only hit 34.5% of their 3-point field goal attempts. For the season, 38.03% of their shots have come from beyond the arc.
01-12-23 | Utah v. UCLA UNDER 137 | Top | 49-68 | Win | 100 | 9 h 42 m | Show |
Seventh-ranked UCLA has not lost in seven-plus weeks but that does not mean coach Mick Cronin is happy. Cronin will be looking for an improved effort when the Bruins face Utah on Thursday night in Pac-12 play at Los Angeles. Though UCLA (14-2, 5-0 Pac-12) ran its winning streak to 11 with last Thursday's 60-58 home win over Southern California, it wasn't a pleasing performance from a coaching perspective. The Bruins shot just 22.7 percent (5 of 22) from the field in the second half while blowing an 18-point halftime lead. The Trojans moved ahead with 36 seconds left before Jaylen Clark saved the day with a go-ahead 3-pointer with 14.8 seconds left as UCLA escaped with the win. The Bruins finished at 34.5 percent from the field as Cronin saw the offensive prowess disappear under USC's relentless pressure defense after the strong first half.
01-12-23 | Texas-Arlington v. Grand Canyon OVER 125.5 | Top | 48-80 | Win | 100 | 8 h 47 m | Show |
The over is 5-2 in Mavericks last 7 games following a straight up loss, and 10-1 in Antelopes last 11 overall.
01-12-23 | Thunder v. 76ers UNDER 233.5 | Top | 133-114 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 40 m | Show |
The Philadelphia 76ers had little trouble dispatching the depleted Detroit Pistons in consecutive games. The task will be a bit more daunting when the Sixers host the improved Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. Joel Embiid led the way with 36 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocked shots in a 147-116 rout of the Pistons on Tuesday. James Harden added his 72nd career triple-double with 16 points, 15 assists, and 12 rebounds. "They had tons of guys out. They're injured," Sixers coach Doc Rivers said of the Pistons. "They're young, and so, you know, for us, I just thought we had a professional game. We came out and played the right way. Built the lead and got our guys that need to play some minutes, which was great." Embiid had missed the three previous games with left foot soreness, so his stellar play had to be encouraging.
01-12-23 | Drexel v. Stony Brook UNDER 125 | Top | 66-67 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 39 m | Show |

01-11-23 | Boise State v. UNLV OVER 136 | Top | 84-66 | Win | 100 | 9 h 11 m | Show |
UNLV was on the road in their last game beating 21st-ranked New Mexico 84-77 where they were down five points at the half but outscored the Lobos by 12 points in the second half. They were down by as much as 12 points in the game and shot 51.8% from the floor holding New Mexico to 43.3% shooting. Five players, including four starters, for the Rebels, scored in double digits with EJ Harkless leading the way with 25 points and Keshon Gilbert going for 14 points.
01-11-23 | Alabama v. Arkansas UNDER 153.5 | Top | 84-69 | Win | 100 | 6 h 18 m | Show |
Alabama is on a four-game winning streak since a 100-90 loss to Gonzaga on Dec. 17. The Crimson Tide's only other loss was to former No. 2 UConn, 82-67 on Nov. 25. Miller leads Alabama with 19.1 points per game and 8.5 rebounds, while Sears scores 14.7 points. The start of SEC play has not been as kind to Arkansas (12-3, 1-2). The Razorbacks were ranked No. 9 when they opened conference play with a 60-57 loss at LSU on Dec. 28. Arkansas dropped to No. 13 last week and split two games, getting a home win 74-68 over No. 20 Missouri on Wednesday and losing 72-59 at No. 22 Auburn on Saturday. Anthony Black scored 23 for the Razorbacks on Saturday, while Ricky Council IV had 14. Council leads four double-digit scorers with 18.1 points per game. Arkansas is expected to lean into its defense, which is 15th in the nation with 9.8 steals per game but had just four against Auburn. The Razorbacks outrebounded the Tigers on Saturday 45-32, with Jordan Walsh grabbing a career-high 10 boards.

01-10-23 | Auburn v. Ole Miss UNDER 133.5 | Top | 82-73 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 51 m | Show |
No. 21 Auburn hopes to take the mojo it has at home on the road when the Tigers visit Ole Miss for a Southeastern Conference game Tuesday night in Oxford, Miss. Auburn (12-3, 2-1) stretched its home winning streak to 27 games with a 72-59 win over then-No. 13 Arkansas on Saturday, but are only 1-2 on opponents' courts this season. After taking on the Rebels (8-7, 0-3), the Tigers will be back on the road at LSU on Jan. 18, with a weekend home game against Mississippi State sandwiched in between. The win over the Razorbacks followed a disappointing performance by the Tigers in a 76-64 mid-week loss at Georgia. Wendell Green Jr. led Auburn with 19 points, and Little Rock native Allen Flanigan added 18. Green's effort was a bounce-back performance after he scored only seven points on 2-of-12 shooting at Georgia. He was 5 of 8 from the field against Arkansas, including 2 of 4 from 3-point range. He also handed out five assists.
01-10-23 | Air Force v. Colorado State OVER 133 | Top | 85-74 | Win | 100 | 8 h 47 m | Show |
Unlike the Falcons, Colorado State features four double-digit scorers on the season, led by Stevens with 17.6 points per game. Senior guard John Tonje is second on the team with 13.6 points per game and collects team-best 5.1 rebounds per game. Altogether, the Rams play at a faster pace than Air Force and average 75.2 points per game. Both teams have shot well from the field this season. Colorado State boasts the nation’s 10th-best field goal percentage at 49.7%, and they make 8.5 three-pointers per game.
01-04-23 | Wake Forest v. North Carolina OVER 150.5 | Top | 79-88 | Win | 100 | 11 h 60 m | Show |
Wake Forest has struggled on the road, while North Carolina, despite all its faults, remains unbeaten at home. The Demon Deacons will aim to reverse that trend with their in-state trip to face North Carolina on Wednesday night at Chapel Hill, N.C. Wake Forest (10-4, 2-1 ACC) recovered from a tough stretch to knock off nationally-ranked Duke and formerly-ranked Virginia Tech in back-to-back home games. Now, the Demon Deacons will see if that kind of play can travel behind Tyree Appleby (18.4 points per game).
12-31-22 | Cavs v. Bulls UNDER 224.5 | Top | 103-102 | Win | 100 | 7 h 15 m | Show |
The Cleveland Cavaliers, coming off a trio of rough defensive showings, hope to snap their three-game losing streak on Saturday night when they visit the Chicago Bulls. Cleveland is in the midst of its second-longest skid of the season and faces the possibility of Darius Garland sitting out due to a sprained right thumb. Garland was injured Thursday in the fourth quarter of the Cavaliers' 135-126 loss at Indiana when he collided with Pacers forwards Oshae Brissett and Jalen Smith. The Cavaliers won eight of their first nine games this season, when they were allowing 103.9 points per contest. Then came a five-game losing streak from Nov. 7-13 when the Cavaliers allowed 118.8 points per game and 51.1 percent from the field. Cleveland followed up its five-game slide by winning 14 of 19 starting with a double-overtime victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Nov. 18. During the 19-game run, the Cavaliers allowed 101 points per game and earned nine double-digit wins. The final game of the hot streak was a 114-106 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Dec. 21. Since then, the Cavaliers dropped home games to the Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets before allowing their highest point total of the season at Indiana.
12-31-22 | Knicks v. Rockets UNDER 224 | Top | 108-88 | Win | 100 | 7 h 9 m | Show |
Momentum is fickle, and over the course of an 82-game schedule, there are enough twists and turns to make sustained excellence difficult for most teams. As recently as Dec. 20, the New York Knicks were riding high. On that date, the Knicks extended their winning streak to a season-best eight consecutive games with a 132-94 dismantling of the Golden State Warriors that seemed to confirm that all of their pieces were meshing perfectly. The Knicks have not tasted victory since. On Thursday, they suffered their fifth consecutive defeat, a 122-115 road loss to the San Antonio Spurs in the second stop of the "Texas Triangle" that will end on Saturday against the host Houston Rockets. The Knicks were again without guard Jalen Brunson (hip) and forward RJ Barrett (finger), and their absences have played a role in the team's ineffective play of late. However, much of the blame can be linked to the Knicks' defense, which has the worst defensive rating in the league -- 125.6 points per possession allowed -- during their losing skid. The Knicks are 11th overall in defensive rating on the season, according to NBA.com.
12-31-22 | Mavs v. Spurs UNDER 231.5 | Top | 126-125 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 3 m | Show |
The Dallas Mavericks will look to expand on a five-game winning streak when they travel south to square off against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday in this season's first battle between the Lone Star State rivals. The Mavericks have been rolling over the past two weeks, riding otherworldly play from superstar Luka Doncic and a solid contribution from the team's role players to their most successful stint of the campaign. Dallas heads to the Alamo City after a 129-114 win at home over Houston on Thursday in which Doncic racked up his second straight triple-double, amassing 35 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds. It was his eighth triple-double of the season. The Mavericks' supporting cast was up to the task, too, on Thursday. Christian Wood added 21 points, Dwight Powell went 8 of 8 from the floor and tallied a season-high 19 points, Tim Hardaway Jr. had 18 points and Spencer Dinwiddie contributed 15. "I did ask a couple of players that we needed to step up and not wait for Luka, and they responded," Dallas coach Jason Kidd said. "We talked about it before the game and they understand the time or the stress we put on Luka. So we needed some guys to be able to get some easy baskets and take that stress off of him, and they did that tonight." The Mavericks, who rely mostly on execution in half-court sets, had a season-best 25 fast-break points in Thursday's win. It's taken awhile but Dallas is finally coming together and look capable of making a repeat run deep into the playoffs.
12-31-22 | Texas-San Antonio v. UAB UNDER 158 | Top | 67-90 | Win | 100 | 6 h 7 m | Show |
Of course, the total is going to be jacked up for this one with both teams crushing over tickets of late. In the past, the Roadrunners' pace and efficiency have not been as effective against teams over .500 as it is against the lesser teams in CBB. Similar to what UAB does, but their unders tend to be against teams under .500. That's a perfect mix for an easy under.
12-31-22 | East Carolina v. Wichita State OVER 125 | Top | 79-69 | Win | 100 | 6 h 54 m | Show |
The public will likely be all over the under in this game, but history tells us that the Shockers tend to speed the game after a SU loss with a sense of urgency to avenge the loss. This number is too low to go under for me.
12-31-22 | Texas Tech v. TCU UNDER 140.5 | Top | 61-67 | Win | 100 | 3 h 51 m | Show |
Two months of preparation and mostly successful performances set the table for No. 18 TCU and Texas Tech, who will square off on Saturday afternoon in Fort Worth, Texas, in the Big 12 opener for both teams. The Big 12 is stacked, with five teams ranked in the AP Top 25. Both the Horned Frogs (11-1) and the Red Raiders (10-2) head into league play carrying momentum built on winning streaks and impressive performances. TCU's most recent game was a dominating 103-57 home victory over Central Arkansas on Wednesday. Mike Miles Jr. scored 21 points to lead the Horned Frogs, while Emanuel Miller added 20, Damion Baugh had 13 and Shahada Wells and JaKobe Coles contributed 12 each.
12-28-22 | Lakers v. Heat UNDER 225.5 | Top | 98-112 | Win | 100 | 9 h 25 m | Show |
The Miami Heat conclude a four-game homestand on Wednesday, hosting a Los Angeles Lakers team at the midpoint of a pivotal five-game road swing. Los Angeles won the second game of its road trip Tuesday, snapping a four-game skid with a 129-110 rout of Orlando. Russell Westbrook went for a triple-double of 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists. "I have a responsibility when I have the ball in my hands to make guys better," Westbrook said in his postgame interview with Spectrum SportsNet. "I take pride in that." LeBron James scored 28 points despite shooting 0-of-7 from beyond the 3-point arc. Thomas Bryant scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Troy Brown Jr. scored 15 points, Patrick Beverley added 14 points and Lonnie Walker IV chipped in 10. The win marked a significant turnaround from the defensive woes that had plagued the Lakers over the previous four games, including the trip-opening loss on Christmas Day at Dallas. The 124-115 defeat capped a stretch of the Lakers allowing 130.5 points per game over the four-game skid. In each of its last seven losses, Los Angeles has given up at least 122 points. The Lakers have not allowed more than 119 points in any of their last five wins, dating back to Dec. 4.
12-28-22 | Chicago State v. Ball State OVER 138.5 | Top | 63-70 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 28 m | Show |
This is the game where the Chicago State under streak comes to an end after cashing six straight. Bettors have taken the opening number of 143, which was a complete trap, and bet it down to 138.5. This game crawls over the total.
12-27-22 | South Carolina State v. Texas Tech UNDER 147.5 | Top | 71-110 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 6 m | Show |
First under Chris Beard and now under second-year coach Mark Adams, Texas Tech has been a team that wins with stifling defense and just enough offense. However, the Red Raiders have shown at times this season that they might have more firepower to be able to outscore teams when required. That offense could be on display again Tuesday night in Lubbock, Texas, when the Red Raiders return from their Christmas break with a home game against struggling South Carolina State. Texas Tech (9-2) got 22 points apiece from De'Vion Harmon and Kevin Obanor in a 111-67 rout of Houston Christian on Wednesday, marking the first time since 1996 that the Red Raiders notched consecutive 100-point games. They beat Jackson State 102-52 on Dec. 17.
12-27-22 | Lakers v. Magic UNDER 235.5 | Top | 129-110 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 37 m | Show |
Two teams trending in opposite directions will meet when the Orlando Magic host the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night. While Orlando has won eight of its last nine, Los Angeles has lost four in a row. The Lakers began a five-game trip with a 124-115 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. After taking a nine-point lead into halftime, Los Angeles was outscored 51-21 during a disastrous third quarter. "We have to know that it's a 48-minute game; it's not a 24-minute game," Los Angeles coach Darvin Ham said. "We kind of took our foot off the pedal defensively. To give up a 51-point third quarter is just unacceptable. It's completely unacceptable. That's not who we are. That's not who we're going to be." Lakers star LeBron James scored 38 points in the loss. His seven-game streak of at least 30 points is the longest active streak in the league. Los Angeles is being forced to rely on James minus center Anthony Davis, who is out indefinitely with a stress injury in his right foot.
12-21-22 | Bulls v. Hawks UNDER 236 | Top | 110-108 | Win | 100 | 8 h 2 m | Show |
The Bulls bounced back on Tuesday after taking a 150-126 beating from the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday in Minneapolis. It was the fourth-most points Chicago has given up in regulation and the most since the Bulls allowed 152 against the Detroit Pistons on Nov. 3, 1982. "It's always great to win, but it's more about how you play," Chicago coach Billy Donovan said after the victory at Miami. "How you play as a group and how you play as a team. It was great to see their hard work rewarded because I felt they put a lot of effort into the game." Nikola Vucevic had 29 points and 12 rebounds for his 14th double-double, DeMar DeRozan had 24 points and Zach LaVine scored 21 against the Heat. "It was good to get a win, get that positive feeling a little bit, especially after that very tough, terrible loss," Vucevic said. "It was needed. Hopefully, we can learn from this." Chicago's Derrick Jones Jr. left the Tuesday game in the third quarter due to a left ankle sprain and did not return. Atlanta's Clint Capela (right calf strain) will miss his third consecutive game on Wednesday.
12-20-22 | Fresno State v. CS Bakersfield OVER 116.5 | Top | 56-48 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 16 m | Show |
The over is 7-1 in Roadrunner's last 8 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and 6-1 in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400.
12-15-22 | Seattle University v. Oregon State UNDER 136.5 | Top | 58-73 | Win | 100 | 6 h 27 m | Show |
The Oregon State Beavers are coming off a tough 72-54 road loss against the Texas A&M Aggies and they were only able to score 24 points in the second half of the game. They were not able to shoot the ball well as they finished shooting 36.5 percent throughout the game, 32.1 percent from beyond the arc, and 11 free-throw shots. Freshman guard Jordan Pope led Oregon State as in 36 minutes he finished with 15 points and five assists.
12-13-22 | Green Bay v. St. Thomas UNDER 137.5 | Top | 61-82 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 23 m | Show |
Needless to say, every trend is telling the public to go over the total, but I think the opening number of 140 was too much and it looks like the public has followed suit. I do think you'll be able to get a better number on this total once the squares start betting this morning.
12-11-22 | Tennessee v. Maryland UNDER 134.5 | Top | 56-53 | Win | 100 | 6 h 45 m | Show |
No. 7 Tennessee will look to win its eighth straight game when it faces No. 13 Maryland in the Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational on Sunday in New York. The Volunteers (8-1) are coming off an 84-49 win over visiting Eastern Kentucky on Wednesday, while the Terrapins (8-1) suffered their first loss of the season in a 64-59 setback at Wisconsin on Tuesday. Tennessee's Tyreke Key scored a game-high 17 points, while Julian Phillips added 16 points and a game-high 10 rebounds against the Colonels. Zakai Zeigler chipped in 13 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals and Olivier Nkamhoua finished with 10 points, eight rebounds and three blocks. While Tennessee struggled at times offensively, finishing 24 of 60 (40 percent) from the field and just 5 of 21 (23.8 percent) from 3-point range, the Volunteers excelled defensively. Tennessee forced Eastern Kentucky to shoot an abysmal 15 of 68 (22.1 percent) from the field, including 6 for 35 (17.1 percent) from beyond the arc. The Volunteers outrebounded the Colonels 56-40.
12-08-22 | Iowa State v. Iowa UNDER 138 | Top | 56-75 | Win | 100 | 1 h 58 m | Show |
Iowa (6-2) wasn't quite as sharp offensively in its last game, a 74-62 loss against Duke on Tuesday in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Hawkeyes shot 39.7 percent from the field overall and made just 3 of 16 attempts from 3-point range. "We have good shooters that didn't make shots (Tuesday)," Iowa coach Fran McCaffery said. "I thought we moved the ball and shot open shots, and they didn't go in." A big reason for Iowa's success on offense has been its value of the basketball. The Hawkeyes lead the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.93 and are averaging nine turnovers a game, the second-fewest in the country. Leading the way has been Kris Murray, who is averaging 19.4 points and 10.1 rebounds per contest in taking over the lead role left by twin brother Keegan Murray, now playing in the NBA for the Sacramento Kings. Patrick McCaffery (12.8), Tony Perkins (11.7), and Filip Rebraca (10.3) are also averaging double-figures in scoring. Iowa hopes fatigue won't be a factor, given it will be a quick two-day turnaround from playing Duke. The Hawkeyes have won four of the last six meetings. Iowa State won last year's game at home in Ames, 73-53.
12-05-22 | Kent State v. Gonzaga UNDER 153.5 | Top | 66-73 | Win | 100 | 10 h 44 m | Show |
It was the kind of loss that can turn into two or more if a team isn't careful. Ahead by seven points with less than two minutes left Friday night, No. 14 Gonzaga managed to lose as sixth-ranked Baylor rattled off the last eight points to earn a 64-63 decision in Sioux Falls, S.D. There isn't a lot of time for the Bulldogs to dwell on that outcome, though, as they have a dangerous game Monday night when Kent State visits Spokane for a non-conference contest. Gonzaga (5-3) owned a 63-56 advantage with 1:41 remaining after Malachi Smith dunked, but it whiffed on its last five possessions. It committed a couple of turnovers, including a shot clock violation while it tried to add to a one-point lead. Rasir Bolton missed a driving layup under heavy guarding just before time expired. It was a fitting capper to a game where the Zags simply weren't in sync offensively after Baylor limited their best player, Drew Timme, to six shots and nine points. It didn't help that Timme found foul trouble, eventually fouling out before Jalen Bridges hit two foul shots with 16.1 seconds left to put Baylor ahead to stay.
12-02-22 | South Dakota State v. Kent State UNDER 145.5 | Top | 68-83 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 11 m | Show |
The Golden Flashes shot just .238 from the floor (15-of-63) against the Houston Cougars, who are ranked in the top three nationally in scoring defense and FG% defense. Kent State was only 6-for-29 on 3-pointers (.207). Kent State has used a variety of starting lineups through seven games. Malique Jacobs has started five games but came off the bench at Houston, finishing with 11 points and seven rebounds in 30 minutes
11-29-22 | Warriors v. Mavs UNDER 228 | Top | 113-116 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 15 m | Show |
Seeing the Golden State Warriors might be the inspiration the Dallas Mavericks need to end a four-game losing streak when last year's Western Conference finalists meet for the first time this season on Tuesday night in Dallas. The Mavericks weren't convinced the better team had won after the Warriors took advantage of a cold-shooting Dallas squad to claim a berth in the 2022 NBA Finals with a 4-1 triumph. Golden State outshot the Mavericks 51.8% to 43.7% from the field, allowing the Warriors to overcome nine more turnovers and 14 fewer free-throw points in the series. Since they last met in June, the Mavericks have made the most significant transaction, replacing steady guard Jalen Brunson (lost to the New York Knicks in free agency) with a talented big man Christian Wood, who came over from Houston.
11-29-22 | Knicks v. Pistons UNDER 226.5 | Top | 140-110 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 58 m | Show |
The Knicks already have beaten the Pistons twice, both at Madison Square Garden. The first meeting was a 130-106 blowout on Oct. 21. Then on Nov. 11, R.J. Barrett had a 30-point game in a 121-112 victory. Following Tuesday's contest, New York returns home for four games. The Pistons have the worst record in the league (5-17), in part because they've been decimated by injuries. Star guard Cade Cunningham is pondering season-ending shin surgery. A trio of other starters missed their 102-94 loss to Cleveland on Sunday. Bojan Bogdanovic and Jaden Ivey sat out with knee soreness while Isaiah Stewart was sidelined by a toe injury. Saddiq Bey, the team's other regular starter, scored 15 points after missing the previous four games due to an ankle injury. Detroit led by five entering the fourth quarter but were then outscored 29-16.
11-26-22 | Jazz v. Suns UNDER 233 | Top | 112-113 | Win | 100 | 10 h 6 m | Show |
Phoenix beat Detroit 108-102 on Friday night despite shooting 24.1 percent beyond the arc. The Suns shot 48.3 percent overall, with Deandre Ayton leading the way by hitting 11 of 13 shots en route to 28 points. "Although we didn't make the shots we wanted, the defensive intensity was still there," Ayton said. "That is what really put us in position to win the game." Ayton also grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked two shots. He had a key putback bucket with 1:34 remaining vs. the Pistons to increase Phoenix's lead to five. "He did a real good job on screens tonight, and it opened him up for baskets," teammate Cameron Payne said. "Sometimes, that's how it goes. You sacrifice your body and then you're the one who gets the reward." Both teams will be without their veteran starting point guard. Chris Paul has been out seven games with a sore right heel, while the Jazz have struggled with Mike Conley (knee) sidelined during their latest losing streak. Phoenix has replaced Utah atop the Western Conference standings since the two teams last met.
11-26-22 | Thunder v. Rockets OVER 231 | Top | 105-118 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 12 m | Show |
Houston coach Stephen Silas has spoken often about the need for the Rockets to be rewarded for their effort, to glean something tangible from spirited showings beyond another close defeat. The Rockets finally secured a much-needed victory on Friday, outlasting the visiting Atlanta Hawks 128-122 by surrendering only 18 points in the fourth quarter while producing a plus-31 rebounding margin -- including 22 offensive boards that yielded 37 second-chance points. After surveying the celebratory mood in the locker room following a win that snapped a four-game homecourt losing skid, Silas recognized that the moment was short-lived at best. "They obviously were excited, and I was happy for them," Silas said. "And then they said we've got another one tomorrow. That's the beauty of the NBA. You've got another one tomorrow." The Rockets will host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday in the second game of a back-to-back for both. The Thunder topped the Chicago Bulls 123-119 in overtime on Friday.

11-24-22 | Alabama v. Michigan State UNDER 145.5 | Top | 81-70 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 35 m | Show |
Michigan State quickly has gained respect with the way it has performed against top competition this season. The Spartans went from unranked to No. 12 in the latest AP poll after quality wins against then-No. 4 Kentucky and Villanova last week. It won't get any easier this holiday weekend. Michigan State will face unbeaten and No. 18 Alabama in the opener of the Phil Knight Invitational on Thursday in Portland, Ore. The winner will return Friday to face the victor of the UConn-Oregon game, which will be played on Thursday. The finals and consolation games of the tournament will be Sunday. The Spartans will get another test when they face Notre Dame in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge next Wednesday. "We can play good and go 0-3," Michigan State coach Tom Izzo said of the Portland event. "This is a very, very, very, very good tournament, and so we'll see.
11-24-22 | Florida v. Xavier UNDER 149.5 | Top | 83-90 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 27 m | Show |
Xavier coach Sean Miller sees familiarities with the team's last opponent when he scans the scouting report for Thursday's matchup with Florida in the Phil Knight Legacy tournament at Portland, Ore. After giving up 30 points and six rebounds to Trayce Jackson-Davis in an 81-79 loss to Indiana, the Musketeers (3-1) now must contend with Florida's Colin Castleton. A power up front like Jackson-Davis, Castleton is averaging 25.3 points and 8.8 rebounds a game for the Gators (3-1). "They do a great job of playing through him," Miller said. "He seems to be involved in almost every offensive possession, maybe a little bit more away from the basket skill-wise than a guy like Jackson-Davis but make no mistake. If you can average 25 points a game through the first three or four games, that's all you need to know." Castleton was a big force behind Florida's 76-67 comeback win at Florida State in the Gators' last outing, scoring right at his average of 25 points and just missing a double-double with nine rebounds. He accounted for 13 points as the Gators scored 33 of the first 38 points in the second half while rallying from a 17-point halftime deficit.
11-24-22 | Tennessee v. USC UNDER 136.5 | Top | 73-66 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 38 m | Show |
Southern California's Boogie Ellis understands the significance of Thursday's semifinal against No. 22 Tennessee at the Battle 4 Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas. "We come out here and we win a couple games, we got a chance to make some noise," he said. "Just (relaying) to the guys that this is a really important tournament for us to make a statement." Ellis scored 27 points and Joshua Morgan and Drew Peterson posted double-doubles as the Trojans (4-1) knocked off BYU 82-76 in the first round on Wednesday. After leading 28-23 at halftime, Tennessee (3-1) dominated Butler in the second half, outscoring the Bulldogs 43-22 to cruise to a 71-45 win. The winner plays in the title game on Friday night against No. 3 Kansas (5-0) or Wisconsin (4-0). The semifinal losers meet in the third-place game on Friday afternoon. The Trojans extended their winning streak to four games by using a balanced scoring attack that included Peterson posting 16 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. Morgan had his second straight double-double with 11 points and 10 boards.
11-23-22 | Fresno State v. Washington UNDER 128 | Top | 57-62 | Win | 100 | 14 h 48 m | Show |
Washington aims to bounce back from a demoralizing setback when it faces Fresno State on Wednesday night in the Wooden Legacy at Anaheim, Calif. The Huskies (3-1) scored the game's first eight points but later trailed by 12 in the second half before succumbing 73-64 to visiting Cal Baptist on Thursday. "We don't want to get behind like that," Washington coach Mike Hopkins said. "We had our chances but just couldn't get over the hump." The winner of the game between the Huskies and Fresno State (1-3) will meet either Vanderbilt or Saint Mary's in Thursday night's title game. The losers will battle in the consolation game. The Huskies had Keion Brooks Jr. back on the floor versus Cal Baptist after a two-game absence due to a leg injury. The Kentucky transfer scored 20 points in his Washington debut in the season-opening win over Weber State, but had 11 on 4-of-12 shooting against Cal Baptist. "He forced it a little bit but he played his heart out," Hopkins said. Brooks' 15.5 point per game scoring average is second on the squad behind freshman Keyon Menifield, who is averaging 15.8. Menifield had eight points on 4-of-14 shooting against the Lancers after averaging 23.5 points over the previous two games. Fresno State has lost three straight contests, including Saturday's 61-52 road loss against North Texas.
11-23-22 | Akron v. Nevada UNDER 131 | Top | 58-62 | Win | 100 | 9 h 14 m | Show |
The Zips are 1-4 ATS this season. It was the tale of two halves on Tuesday as the Zips were up two, 35-33, at halftime versus LSU, despite shooting 31% from the field. That poor shooting wasn’t even an indication of how bad things would get in the second half as Akron hit just five field goals on 25 attempts and was outscored 40-23. Enrique Freeman, who went 7-for-8 and led the team with 18 points on Monday, shot just 1-for-6 and had three points on the day. Xavier Castenada had his third 20+ point game of the season. The senior guard had 28 points, shooting 6-for-16 and 12-for-16 from the free-throw stripe. He added six rebounds and four assists.
11-23-22 | Kansas v. NC State UNDER 153 | Top | 80-74 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 26 m | Show |
No. 3 Kansas already has some nice accomplishments this season, and now the Jayhawks get their coach back and head into to a high-profile tournament. Bill Self will be on the bench for the first time this season when the Jayhawks take on North Carolina State on Wednesday in the opening round of the Battle 4 Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas. NC State has made headway in its own way early this season, but the focus for this tournament opener is on the Jayhawks and Self. The coach finished a four-game suspension imposed by the university stemming from an NCAA investigation in 2017. Assistant coach Kurtis Townsend is also back from a ban that was connected to Self's suspension. Norm Roberts had filled in as acting coach. This is Self's 20th season with the Jayhawks. Even though he wasn't on the scene to start the season, this marks the ninth time since he took charge in 2003 that Kansas is off to a 4-0 start. Forward KJ Adams Jr. -- at just 6-foot-7 -- has given the Jayhawks a boost up front. It's unclear if he's locked into that starting role.
11-22-22 | Weber State v. Abilene Christian UNDER 136.5 | Top | 77-67 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 49 m | Show |
Two contrasting styles here but I expect the slower pace to win out. Weber State has played in six under in their last seven games and 16 of 23 on neutral courts.
11-21-22 | Cincinnati v. Arizona UNDER 160.5 | Top | 93-101 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 48 m | Show |
No. 14 Arizona has been all fun and flash while steamrolling three overmatched opponents, but the competition is about to get stiffer at the Maui Invitational starting Monday against Cincinnati in Lahaina, Hawaii. The Wildcats (3-0) set a school record for shooting percentage (71.7) in their opener against Nicholls, got a triple-double from point guard Kerr Kriisa against Southern, and established another school record Thursday against Utah Tech by making 22 of 22 free throw attempts. "I think we're good," said coach Tommy Lloyd. "We got through these first three games, and our guys are getting a feeling for how hard you need to play. The new guys are understanding that there's a level of effort and a standard that you have to meet to be an Arizona basketball player. They're starting to hit that." Cincinnati (3-1) hasn't shown the same kind of offensive prowess as Arizona and is coming off a 64-51 loss Wednesday at Northern Kentucky in which it managed only 11 points in the second half. The Bearcats shot 33.9 percent from the field.
11-20-22 | Hornets v. Wizards UNDER 221 | Top | 102-106 | Win | 100 | 8 h 42 m | Show |
The Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards are coming off Friday night games that had something in common, as neither was decided in regulation. From there, there were different routes. So expect the Wizards to be in a little better shape when the teams meet Sunday night in Washington. The Wizards beat the visiting Miami Heat 107-106 in overtime for their fifth victory in their last six games. The Hornets have to search for any positives, particularly after a bizarre double-overtime loss at Cleveland. Charlotte came back from 10 down in the final 45 seconds of regulation and then was in a position to win in the first overtime before ultimately suffering its 10th loss in the last 11 games. "You have to be able to handle disappointment, frustration, and success and move on," Hornets coach Steve Clifford said. "There's a lot to learn from (a game like that)." Washington's stretch of positive results began with a 108-100 victory Nov. 7 at Charlotte.
11-19-22 | Jazz v. Blazers UNDER 228 | Top | 118-113 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 52 m | Show |
The Utah Jazz doesn't have much time to celebrate a thrilling 134-133 home win on Friday over the Phoenix Suns, a team that many consider to be the Western Conference favorite this season. A night after overcoming a 49-point performance by the Suns' Devin Booker, the Jazz visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night for another showdown with a team atop the early conference standings. The winner between the Blazers (10-5) and the Jazz (11-6) will own the best record in the West, for whatever that's worth at this point in the season. That's especially surprising, considering the two teams are winning at a higher rate than expected. As noted by The Oregonian, the Blazers' over/under for wins was 40.5 coming into the season. Utah, which traded away Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, had much lower outside expectations, including an over/under of 23.5 victories. Utah's chances of winning will be much greater if Lauri Markkanen, the surprising team's surprising All-Star candidate, has another outing like the one he produced Friday when he scored a career-high 38 points.
11-19-22 | Maryland v. St. Louis UNDER 145.5 | Top | 95-67 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 27 m | Show |
The Terrapins are looking to extend their three-game winning streak to four games when they host the Billikens. In their last outing, Maryland earned a 76-52 win over the Binghamton Bearcats. As a team, they shot 48.4% from the field and earned 42 rebounds, 14 assists, eight steals, and four blocks. Julian Reese (19 PTS, 7 REB, 2, BLK, 88.8% FG) and Hakim Hart (13 PTS, 8 REB, 2 STL, 50% FG) led the Terrapins. Maryland has a 211th-ranked scoring offense this season, averaging 72.7 points per game. Their scoring defense is ranked 10th, surrendering just 50.7 points per game. The Terrapins currently have a scoring margin of 22 which puts them at 51st.
11-17-22 | Central Michigan v. Minnesota OVER 135.5 | Top | 60-68 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 40 m | Show |
Minnesota has won all four games all-time in the series and has won by an average score of 78 to 58.75 while going 3-0-1 ATS in those matchups. The Golden Gophers have won the last three games by an average score of 78.33 to 57.33 while going 3-0 ATS in those contests.
11-10-22 | Southern Illinois v. Oklahoma State UNDER 136 | Top | 61-60 | Win | 100 | 15 h 18 m | Show |
The Salukis were one of the slowest teams in the country last year at about 66 offensive possessions per game. This slow pace contributed to the great scoring defense the Salukis have had with Mullins at the helm. They were first in the MVC and 15th in America in scoring defense. Last season the Salukis held opponents under 70 for 19 straight games. Despite their solid defense, this is an undersized squad that doesn't have anyone taller than 6'8 on the roster. Oklahoma State big man Kalib Boone could really disrupt the Salukis game plan if they can't limit his impact on the boards and the low block.
11-09-22 | South Dakota State v. Boise State UNDER 144 | Top | 68-66 | Win | 100 | 13 h 22 m | Show |
Last season, the Boise State Broncos were mediocre at best offense while one of the best defenses in the sport. They lost three starters from last season and need to be able to swallow the losses here. They are going to need sophomore forward Tyson Degenhart to step up from his freshman season where he averaged 9.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.6 blocks, and 0.8 steals.
11-09-22 | Knicks v. Nets OVER 223 | Top | 85-112 | Loss | -105 | 12 h 14 m | Show |
The New York Knicks have experienced both sides of the long-range game and figure to take advantage of what they have learned when they visit the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday in the first Big Apple showdown of the season. The Knicks hit a season-high 19 3-pointers in a victory at Minnesota on Monday, two days after they allowed 27 made baskets from distance in a home defeat to the Boston Celtics. Now the Knicks face the Nets, who entered play on Tuesday with the NBA's second-worst team at defending 3-pointers at 38.9 percent allowed. The Knicks have split their first 10 games and enter Wednesday shooting 34.8 percent from 3-point range, which is 22nd in the NBA. Last season, the Knicks were 13th at 35.7 percent and two seasons ago the Knicks made 39.2 percent from 3-point range, tying them for second-best with the Nets. In their five wins, the Knicks are averaging 121 points, and on Monday night they bounced back from the 133-118 loss to Boston for a 120-107 win at Minnesota.
11-09-22 | Davidson v. Wright State UNDER 147.5 | Top | 102-97 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 25 m | Show |
With a victory over the Quakers in their previous game, the Wildcats got off to a strong start. They will be looking for similar outcomes on Wednesday when they embark on their first road trip, which could give them their second straight victory. In their 87-point victory over the Quakers, Davidson scored 45.1 percent of their field goals and 44.1 percent of three-point attempts. With 64 points allowed in the victory over the Quakers, Davidson played strong defense. They will need to put out another strong defensive performance if they want to win because they are playing a better offensive team.
11-07-22 | Nets v. Mavs UNDER 217.5 | Top | 94-96 | Win | 100 | 12 h 46 m | Show |
On Oct. 27, Luka Doncic visited the Brooklyn Nets and scored 41 points in a dynamic triple-double as the Dallas Mavericks held on for a four-point overtime victory. Doncic will attempt to match his previous effort against Brooklyn on Monday night when the Mavericks host the Nets, who aim to put a turbulent week in their rearview. Doncic heads into Monday averaging a career-best 36 points and is the second player in NBA history to open with at least eight straight games of at least 30 points. The only other player to start that hot was Wilt Chamberlain when the Hall of Fame center scored at least 30 points in 23 straight to start the 1962-63 season when he averaged 44.8 points per game for the San Francisco Warriors.
11-07-22 | Blazers v. Heat OVER 215 | Top | 110-107 | Win | 100 | 9 h 33 m | Show |
The Miami Heat have played two straight games without their leading scorer, Jimmy Butler, who has been absent due to a sore left hip. The Portland Trail Blazers have played four straight games without their leading scorer, Damian Lillard, due to a strained right calf. Even worse for the Trail Blazers, they've played two straight games without starting guard Anfernee Simons, who has left foot inflammation. The Blazers and Heat will hope to welcome back these important pieces on Monday when Portland visits Miami. Lillard, who is averaging 31.0 points, was upgraded to questionable for Monday. Simons, who is second on the Blazers in scoring (22.0) and third in assists (3.9), is doubtful. Butler, who leads Miami in points (21.5) and ranks second in assists (5.5) and rebounds (6.4), could also be back on Monday after the Heat didn't list him on their injury report. The Heat, who are set to start a four-game homestand, are coming off a two-point loss at the Indiana Pacers. On the bright side, the Heat have won two straight home games, and coach Erik Spoelstra is optimistic.
10-31-22 | Pacers v. Nets OVER 235 | Top | 109-116 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 25 m | Show |
Six games in, the Brooklyn Nets are a defensive disaster -- the word coach Steve Nash used after the latest loss. Struggling to defend anyone, the Nets attempt to halt an ugly four-game losing streak Monday night when they conclude a two-game series with the visiting Indiana Pacers. Brooklyn's 1-5 start is its worst since it dropped the first seven games of its forgettable 2015-16 campaign. That startled coach Lionel Hollins getting fired after 37 games, a 20-62 record, and Sean Marks being hired as the general manager in February 2016. On Saturday, the Nets allowed an opposing player to score at least 30 points for the fourth straight game in a 125-116 loss, resulting in a postgame players meeting. The Nets matched a team record by allowing 23 3-pointers, the second straight time they allowed an opponent to make half of its 3-point tries after Dallas hit 20 in Thursday's 129-125 overtime loss.
10-30-22 | Wizards v. Celtics UNDER 221.5 | Top | 94-112 | Win | 100 | 5 h 42 m | Show |
The Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards have taken similar paths to 3-2 starts, each losing on Friday and having an overtime setback as part of their early-season schedules. The two teams will look to right the ship when they meet Sunday night at Boston. Double-digit leads in the first half were for naught in Boston's last two games, including Friday's 132-123 overtime setback to Cleveland. "We have to learn how to win again," Celtics interim head coach Joe Mazzulla said. "Each season, coming into it, you're not guaranteed to win. So, it's valuing the ball, it's knowing tendencies and boxing out and rebounding. Just the fundamentals." The Celtics led by as many as 15 points on their way to a 75-point first half against the Cavaliers. Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum each finished the game with 32 points. The Cleveland scoring duo of Caris LeVert and Donovan Mitchell had 41 points apiece, but Boston committed 19 turnovers and also allowed nine offensive rebounds in the setback.
10-18-22 | Lakers v. Warriors UNDER 225.5 | Top | 109-123 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 33 m | Show |
The defending champion Golden State Warriors tip off their bid to repeat Tuesday night against an opponent that knows a little about going back-to-back when they host the Los Angeles Lakers in a nationally televised NBA opener. The Warriors had the third-best record in the Western Conference in the regular season before veterans Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Andre Iguodala led a 16-6 playoff run to their fourth title in eight years. Curry earned Western Conference Finals and NBA Finals Most Valuable Player honors, capping a season in which he overtook Ray Allen for the all-time lead in 3-pointers. The Warriors, who put together back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018, will begin their quest for five titles in nine years against the same opponent they saw on Opening Night a year ago. Last time, the game was played in Los Angeles, where Golden State ignited an 18-2 start to the season with a 121-114 victory.
10-08-22 | Hawks v. Bucks OVER 223 | Top | 118-109 | Win | 100 | 1 h 19 m | Show |
The first of two preseason games against the Milwaukee Bucks could not have gone any better for the Atlanta Hawks. All-Star point guard Dejounte Murray fit right in with his new teammates, and the team defense was unrecognizable compared to last year. Of course, it was just one preseason game. So we should be careful about counting our chickens before they hatch. Especially given the fact that the Bucks took a different approach to the exhibition game compared to the Hawks. For example, their starting unit averaged 22 minutes.
05-27-22 | Heat v. Celtics OVER 201 | Top | 111-103 | Win | 100 | 11 h 13 m | Show |
The over is 5-2 in their last 7 meetings in Boston and 10-4 in their last 14 overall. The over has cashed 9 of 12 when the Heat play teams with winning records.
04-23-22 | Mavs v. Jazz OVER 212 | Top | 99-100 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 30 m | Show |
The public is all over the under in this one and I think they're right. It will be very important to get the right number, but the under is 43-20 in the Mav's last 63 games as a dog. The under is 20-8-1 when playing on one days rest.
04-22-22 | Heat v. Hawks UNDER 222 | Top | 110-111 | Win | 100 | 9 h 35 m | Show |
Two big trends going in this one. First, the under is 31-12 when the Heat play a team with a winning SU record and the Heat really seem to clamp down in the postseason with unders cashing 15 of their last 20 quarterfinal playoff games.
04-02-22 | Hornets v. 76ers OVER 226.5 | Top | 114-144 | Win | 100 | 2 h 54 m | Show |
The over in this series is 7-2-1 in their last 10 meetings, 7-2-1 when the Hornets face a team with a winning SU record. The over is 5-1 in the Sixers last 6 games playing on one days rest.
04-01-22 | Suns v. Grizzlies UNDER 229.5 | Top | 114-122 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 9 m | Show |
This series has been an under series for a couple of seasons, with 7 of their last 9 cashing under tickets. Thunder is also 4-1 in Memphis. When the Suns go on the road against the home teams in the league their strategy has always been defense first.
03-31-22 | Clippers v. Bulls OVER 222.5 | Top | 130-135 | Win | 100 | 11 h 1 m | Show |
There are many reasons why the under is the under is the attractive option in this one, but if we look at recent form the Clippers have just finished playing a 236 point game against the Jazz two nights ago, they gave up 122 point to the 76ers before that, and a 242 point game against Denver. If the Clippers do their part, this game goes over.
03-21-22 | Middle Tennessee v. Boston University OVER 139 | Top | 76-46 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 5 m | Show |
I'm not getting in the way of the Terrier over train that has now cashed 13 of their last 16 games and 12 of 14 following a SU win.
03-20-22 | Troy State v. Abilene Christian UNDER 140.5 | Top | 70-82 | Loss | -109 | 10 h 26 m | Show |
The Trojans have been a terrific team under team when playing on neutral courts with 12 of their last 17 cashing under tickets. The under is also 8-2 when the Trojans are the underdog. 5 of the last 7 Wildcats games have come under on neutral courts.
03-20-22 | Suns v. Kings UNDER 232.5 | Top | 127-124 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 20 m | Show |
Phoenix has been an over machine but the oddsmakers have adjusted, making this number too high for my taste. The under is 7-3 when the Kings are coming off a loss of 10 or more because they put their focus back on defense.
03-19-22 | Richmond v. Providence OVER 134 | Top | 51-79 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 5 m | Show |
This is one of my favorite plays on today's card. There aren't many trends to suggest that this is going over but The Friars have had a tendency to play higher scoring games after a SU win.
03-17-22 | Indiana v. St. Mary's UNDER 126.5 | Top | 53-82 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 40 m | Show |
The under is an insane 22-10-2 in their last 34 game as an underdog and 31-15-2 vs. teams with a winning percentage over .600. The under is 9-3 in the Gaels last 12 neutral site games.
03-16-22 | Iona v. Florida OVER 144.5 | Top | 74-79 | Win | 100 | 12 h 12 m | Show |
There are a lot of reasons to like the under in this one but Florida has been on a small over trend and I think this number has come in lower than I thought it would. The number seems to be begging the public to bet the under but we're not falling for it and it doesn't look like they are either.
03-15-22 | Indiana v. Wyoming UNDER 133 | Top | 66-58 | Win | 100 | 13 h 43 m | Show |
The Wyoming Cowboys can feel very fortunate that they are in the NCAA Tournament but the win over UNLV seemed to push them in. 5 of their last 7 games have gone under the total and 3 of 5 for the Hoosiers. The Hoosiers will suffocate the Cowboys while Ike's troubles down low continue.
03-13-22 | 76ers v. Magic UNDER 224 | Top | 116-114 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 42 m | Show |
The public is pounding the over in this one, with the over cashing 4 of 5 in this series. However, the Magic have played in 5 straight unders and 7 of 8, including 5 straight as a dog. We'll take the the generous number in this one.
03-11-22 | Raptors v. Suns OVER 221.5 | Top | 117-112 | Win | 100 | 13 h 22 m | Show |
The Raptors have produced 5 straight unders, while the Suns have a modest 2 game streak but you have to know when these trends will stop and I think tonight's the night. Over the last 8 games in Phoenix, the over has cashed 6 times and the Raptors seem to always get into high paced games against the better teams in the league. This number is too low.
03-11-22 | Jazz v. Spurs OVER 229 | Top | 102-104 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 11 m | Show |
Utah comes into this one on a 4 game under streak while the Spurs have produced 4 unders in their last 5 games, but the key is to pick the numbers that seem to beg you to go against those trends and 229 certainly does that for me. The over is 13-5 when the Spurs play teams above .500, this game is a track meet.
03-11-22 | Richmond v. VCU OVER 129.5 | Top | 75-64 | Win | 100 | 12 h 52 m | Show |
Both teams come into this one with solid over trends on neutral floors, while the over is 5-2-1 in the Rams last 8 games as favorite. This number is an obvious oversight as both teams with play a quick pace.
03-11-22 | Wolves v. Magic OVER 233 | Top | 110-118 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 50 m | Show |
The T'Wolves have covered 7 of their last 8 games but it's the total that has me intrigued. There are some totals that seem to beg you to go one way and that's the case here. Minnesota has cashed two straight unders and Orlando is on a 6 of 7 streak, but we know that this is an over series especially when they play in Orlando (8-3). This number wants you on the under but we're not falling for that.
03-11-22 | TCU v. Kansas OVER 138.5 | Top | 62-75 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 35 m | Show |
Both teams come into this one having played in three straight over's, but this number is too good to pass up. With both teams totals consistently in the 140's, I think we're getting a steal with this number. The OVER is 22-10-1 when the Horned Frogs re coming off a STS win while the Jayhawks seem to always play high scoring games when the spotlight is the brightest.
03-11-22 | Iowa v. Rutgers OVER 144 | Top | 84-74 | Win | 100 | 6 h 8 m | Show |
I would go get this now because the public has already pushed this up some from it's opening number. The books clearly have an opinion on this game which is why the total is so high. Iowa has cashed three straight unders and 5 of 6 with each total coming in at the mid 150's. The Knights have also cashed 4 straight unders which is what is pulling this number down into the 140's. This game will be played at Iowa's pace.
03-10-22 | Fresno State v. San Diego State UNDER 114.5 | Top | 46-53 | Win | 100 | 16 h 42 m | Show |
Believe me when I tell you, this is going to be ugly. A week ago, these two teams met with the game looking like it was going to cash an under ticket when with the total at 116. The game went into OT allowing the Over to cash but tonight will be different. Both of these teams are under teams and that's what's going to happen tonight despite the bookmakers begging the public to take the over.
03-10-22 | Maryland-Eastern Shore v. North Carolina Central OVER 131 | Top | 56-68 | Loss | -100 | 13 h 23 m | Show |
This is one of the most attractive options on the board because the bookmakers are setting a trap, and we're going to run the other way. The Hawks have played in 7 overs in their last 10 games and the Eagles in three straight, but my numbers indicate that this line is baiting you into taking the under. The over is 18-6 when the Eagles are coming off a SU win, make that 19-6 after tonight.
03-09-22 | Fairfield v. St. Peter's OVER 122 | Top | 63-77 | Win | 100 | 13 h 36 m | Show |
The public will be all over the under in this game and I suspect the books will be begging you to take the over but I think being in a tournament atmosphere sometimes oushes teams to do things out of character and that's why what you've seen all season long is not always what you'll see in this match-up.
03-09-22 | Air Force v. Utah State OVER 126 | Top | 56-83 | Win | 100 | 8 h 56 m | Show |
The Falcons have been an under team for a long time while the Aggies are on a run of 4 straight unders. The public has pounded the under but neutral site games have a tendency to move teams out of what they're used to doing, especially In a tournament setting.
03-08-22 | Chicago State v. Utah Valley OVER 132 | Top | 47-69 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 44 m | Show |
Two teams going in the same direction when it comes to the total. Both teams have played in three straight unders with the Wolverines playing on 5 of 6. However, this numbers is begging you to play the under but we know that when the Cougars play a higher quality of team the over is 14-3 in their last 17. We're not getting sucked into what the bookmakers want tonight.
03-07-22 | Rockets v. Heat OVER 225.5 | Top | 106-123 | Win | 100 | 13 h 46 m | Show |
The public has already pushed this opening number up from its opener of 225. There are even better numbers if you shop. It's a predictable movement considering the Heat just played in a game that featured 180 points but the Heat have a tendency to have no problem putting up points against the worst teams in the league. This number is generous. |
