01-25-14 | Buffalo v. Northern Illinois +6 | Top | 75-67 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 34 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Northern Illinois. Buffalo (9-6) is coming off a 68-71 loss at Ball State. Javon McCrea led the Bulls with 28 points and 11 rebounds who tied the game at 67 but could never recover the lead. Northern Illinois (7-10) is coming off a 68-77 loss at Toledo. Northern Illinois was led by Travon Baker with 17 points. Darrell Bowie had 16, Jordan Threloff added 14 and Aaric Armstead had 10. The Huskies have struggled of late but should more competitive with a return home against a Buffalo team they are very motivated to beat. Note the Bulls are just 1-4 SU and 2-3 ATS in road games this season. Buffalo has yet to be a road favorite of this many points and I think it will prove to be too many in game versus a divisional rival. The Huskies performed poorly in their last home game and should be looking for bounce back in friendly confines. Grab the points. AAA
01-25-14 | Iowa v. Northwestern +9.5 | Top | 76-50 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 35 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Northwestern. Iowa (14-5) is coming off a 67-75 loss at Michigan. Aaron White and Melsahn Basabe scored 17 points each for Iowa. Iowa went only 2-of-10 from beyond the arc. Northwestern (10-10) is coming off a 63-60 win over Purdue on home court. Drew Crawford and Tre Demps each added 19 points for the Wildcats. Northwestern has been playing some good ball of late; having won three of the last four games. Those three games came against some good teams in Indiana on the road, Illinois and Purdue. The Wildcats are an efficient 8-4 SU at home this season while the Hawkeyes have struggled on the road with a 1-3 record. The Wildcats were crushed by 26 points just two weeks ago at Iowa so you have to think the team is very motivated to get some sort of redemption here. Iowa has a big game at home against top rated Michigan State just three days after this game and you might see the team looking past a Wildcats team it hammered a few weeks ago. Grab the points in a game that should be much closer than the last time these two teams met. AAA
01-24-14 | Memphis Grizzlies +6 v. Houston Rockets | Top | 88-87 | Win | 100 | 27 h 40 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on the Memphis Grizzlies. The Memphis Grizzlies (20-20) comes off a 92-95 loss at home to New Orleans. Zach Randolph led the Grizzlies with 23 points and a season-high 20 rebounds. Courtney Lee had 19 points and Marc Gasol finished with 14 points. Mike Conley had 13 for Memphis which had its
01-24-14 | Charlotte Bobcats v. New York Knicks -4.5 | Top | 96-125 | Win | 100 | 26 h 12 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER-BLOWOUT" on the New York Knicks. The Charlotte Bobcats (19-25) come off a 95-91 win at home over the LA Clippers. Al Jefferson had 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead Charlotte to its first win over the Clippers in their last seven tries. The New York Knicks (15-27) come off a 106-110 loss at home to Philadelphia. Carmelo Anthony scored 28 points after a slow start for the Knicks, who were at least competitive after losing the previous four by a combined 75 points. The Knicks have been very unreliable at home this season but I expect they pick it up and finally earn a win after some self admittedly terrible games. The Bobcats are feeling pretty good about themselves after two upset wins as the underdog. I expect a bit of a letdown in this game. Charlotte has really had the run of play here against the Knicks the past few seasons but I think we see the Knicks show some pride here as revenge is likely on the table. The Bobcats are still just 8-13 on the road this season and people are starting to take the team very seriously after some upset wins. Don
01-24-14 | Toronto Raptors v. Philadelphia 76ers +6 | Top | 104-95 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 43 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ASSASSIN" on the Philadelphia 76ers. The Toronto Raptors (21-20) come off a 93-85 win at home over the Dallas Mavericks. DeMar DeRozan scored a career-high 40 points, Greivis Vasquez had 17 and the Raptors snapped a two-game losing streak. The Philadelphia 76ers (14-28) come off a 110-106 win at the New York Knicks. Evan Turner scored 34 points and 11 rebounds while Michael Carter-Williams and Young each added 19 points for the 76ers, who won for just the second time in nine games. The Raptors are finally starting to get some respect at the sports books but I think this is a little bit too much respect on the road. The Sixers are 3-2 SU and ATS when facing the Raptors at home the last three seasons. The Raptors are just 10-11 on the road this season. Since a nice five game winning streak, the Raptors are just 2-3 SU and ATS with losses to the LA Lakers at home at Boston and Charlotte. The 76ers are getting back from a three game road trip and should have a lot of energy back on home court. Thaddeus Young is averaging 18.7 points while shooting 60.0 percent over his last six matchups with Toronto. AAA
01-24-14 | Quinnipiac v. Iona -6 | Top | 73-95 | Win | 100 | 26 h 33 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF THE GAME" on Iona. Quinnipiac (11-6) is coming off an 85-71 win over Niagara. Umar Shannon scored 16 points, helping a balanced Quinnipiac offense. Ike Azotam, Ousmane Drame and Hearst each had 14 points for the Bobcats. Shaq Shannon rounded out a balanced offensive attack from the Quinnipiac starters with 12 points. Iona (9-8) is coming off a 88-74 win at Siena. Tre Bowman scored 25 points and Isaiah Williams added 20. The Bobcats have won the last two meetings between these two teams but I expect the Gaels to come out on top easily here. Iona is 8-2 SU and 6-4 ATS as the favorite this season. The Gaels are already 1-0 SU and ATS revenging a loss to an opponent this season. Quinnipiac 0-3 SU as the underdog and is 1-4 SU in road lined games this season. The last three home wins by the Gaels were won by double digit. Lay the points here with Iona. AAA
01-23-14 | Denver Nuggets +7 v. Portland Trail Blazers | Top | 105-110 | Win | 100 | 27 h 12 m | Show |
This is a 10* "WEST-COAST EXPRESS" on the Denver Nuggets. The Denver Nuggets (20-20) is 117-103 upset loss at home to Phoenix. Anthony Randolph scored a season-best 19 for the Nuggets, who have lost four of five and were without guard Randy Foye because of a stomach virus. Evan Fournier, Ty Lawson and Wilson Chandler added 17 points apiece for Denver. The Portland Trailblazers (31-11) come off a 97-105 loss at Oklahoma City. LaMarcus Aldridge had 29 points and 16 rebounds, but he went 1-for-8 from the field in the fourth quarter. The Blazers are the favorite in this matchup but this looks to be too many points for them to cover in this situation. The Nuggets are looking to bounce back off a double digit loss at home. Denver is 3-2 SU and ATS as an underdog of 6.5-9 points this season. Denver also comes in extremely motivated thanks to a double digit loss at home to these same Blazers the last matchup between these two teams. Portland is coming off a tough road trip having to play some good teams and I expect a big of a letdown. Portland is 1-4 ATS after three consecutive road games. Also it
01-23-14 | Winnipeg Jets v. San Jose Sharks -1.5 | Top | 0-1 | Loss | -100 | 27 h 4 m | Show |
This is a 10* "PUCK LINE WAGER" on the San Jose Sharks. The Winnipeg Jets (23-23-5) come off a 3-2 upset win over the Anaheim Ducks. Ondrej Pavelec made 40 saves, Evander Kane had a short-handed goal and an assist in his return from injury. The San Jose Sharks (32-12-6) come off a 3-2 win over Calgary at home. Joe Pavelski scored twice Anti Niemi made 21 saves to help the cause. Both teams are playing at a pretty nice level and are coming on decent winning streaks but I think the home teams Sharks will easily come out on top here. The Sharks come in motivated to beat the Jets after a 4-5 loss at Winnipeg back in November. San Jose has won four in a row overall and is primed for a nice win at home after a so-so performance by its
01-23-14 | Tulane v. East Carolina -8 | Top | 59-54 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 31 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER BLOWOUT" on East Carolina. Tulane (10-9) comes off a 58-41 win over Rice at home. Jay Hook scored 17 points, making 4 of 7 3-pointers, to lead Tulane to a big win. Louis Dabney had 12 points, and Tre Drye pulled down 10 rebounds for Tulane. East Carolina (11-7) is looking to bounce back off a 64-68 loss at Florida International Paris Roberts-Campbell led ECU with 15 points and seven assists. Zangari added 14 points and Caleb White 11. Antonio Robinson finished with 10. The Pirates are looking to bounce back here and I expect they do it in a big way against a poor road team in Tulane. The Green Wave is just 2-7 SU 3-6 ATS as the underdog. Tulane is just 2-5 SU versus teams with a winning record. East Carolina has won the last two meeting between these teams and should draw some confidence behind that combined with a 6-3 SU record at home. Lay the points with the home team. AAA
01-22-14 | Detroit Pistons v. Milwaukee Bucks +4.5 | Top | 101-104 | Win | 100 | 26 h 12 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF THE GAME" on the Milwaukee Bucks. The Detroit Pistons (17-24) come off a 103-112 loss at home to the LA Clippers. Rodney Stuckey scored 29 points for Detroit and Josh Smith added 24 in a losing cause. The problem was the Pistons got next to nothing from the rest of the starters. The Milwaukee Brewers (7-33) come off a 83-110 loss at San Antonio. Brandon Knight scored 21 points, Giannis Antetokounmpo added 11 points and John Henson had 10 points and 11 rebounds for Milwaukee, which trailed by double digits the entire second half. 01-21-14 | Portland Trail Blazers v. Oklahoma City Thunder -5.5 | Top | 97-105 | Win | 100 | 25 h 0 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Portland Trailblazers (31-10) come off a 113-126 loss at the Houston Rockets. LaMarcus Aldridge had 27 points and 20 rebounds for the Trail Blazers, who have won seven of their last 11 games. Damian Lillard added 24 points and Wesley Matthews had 18. The Oklahoma City Thunder (31-10) comes off a 108-93 win at home over Sacramento. Kevin Durant had 30 points and nine rebounds while Serge Ibaka added 20 points in the win. The Thunder have won three straight now with Durant getting hot and should be plenty motivated to take out a Portland team that beat them 98-94 in OKC just a few weeks ago. Note the Thunder is 3-1 ATS as a home favorite of 3.5-6 points this season. The Trailblazers are in a tough stretch of games here having to play just last night in Houston against a very fast paced Rockets team and now having to play a just as fast paced Thunder team the next night. Houston is just 9-13 ATS versus teams with that score 99 or points. Lay the points with Oklahoma City. AAA
01-21-14 | Missouri v. LSU -4.5 | Top | 71-77 | Win | 100 | 24 h 54 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER ASSASSIN" on LSU. Missouri (14-3) is coming off a 68-47 win over Alabama at home. Jabari Brown tied a career high with 24 points and Johnathan Williams III grabbed 14 rebounds to help Missouri. Missouri shot 42.6 percent overall, including 52.4 percent (11 for 21) in the second half. LSU (11-5) is coming off a dominant 81-58 win over Vanderbilt. Johnny O'Bryant scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Last season these two teams traded games to each on opposing courts so no doubt home court plays a strong emphasis here. LSU hasn
01-20-14 | Delaware v. Drexel -2 | Top | 90-77 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 59 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on Drexel. Delaware (12-7) is coming off a 74-70 win over Northeastern. Devon Saddler had 22 points and eight assists and Davon Usher added 17 points. Drexel (10-7) comes off a 79-63 win at UNC-Wilmington. Frantz Massenat scored a career-high 30 points and Freddie Wilson scored all 16 of his points in the second half as Drexel staged a 30-point turnaround to get the win. Drexel bounced back from a tough loss on home court to get a nice road win and I expect it gets some redemption back at home here. The Dragons are 4-2 at home and have been pretty consistent there despite the recent loss. Delaware is 6-6 SU on the road. Delaware has lost three of the last four games away from friendly confines. Delaware has won the last two meetings by an average of just two points. This has revenge written all over it. Lay the short points with Drexel. AAA
01-19-14 | San Francisco 49ers v. Seattle Seahawks -3 | Top | 17-23 | Win | 100 | 112 h 4 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on the Seattle Seahawks. The San Francisco 49ers come into the NFC championship game thanks to two playoff road wins over Green Bay and Carolina. The 49ers to their credit have won eight in a row with QB Colin Kaepernick playing some of his best football of the season. Anquan Boldin had 136 yards receiving as he and Michael Crabtree and Vernon Davis are elite receiving options on a team that has the talented Kaepernick and Frank Gore out of the back field. The Seattle Seahawks come in the number one seed in the NFC and held off a late rally from the New Orleans Saints last week to win 23-15. Marshawn Lynch was once again a beast, rushing for 140 yards and two TDs. These teams know each other very well and there is hatred from fans all the way to the players and even coaches. 01-19-14 | Boston Celtics v. Orlando Magic +2 | Top | 91-93 | Win | 100 | 23 h 10 m | Show |
This is a 10* "EAST-COAST EXPRESS" on the Orlando Magic. The Boston Celtics (14-27) come off a 104-107 loss at home to the LA Lakers. Kelly Olynyk scored a career-high 25 points for Boston. Rajon Rondo made his much anticipated return in the loss. The Orlando Magic (10-30) comes off a 101-111 loss to Charlotte at home. Arron Afflalo scored 24 points in his return to the Magic lineup after missing three games with a strained right foot, and Tobias Harris and Jameer Nelson each added 18. 01-19-14 | New England Patriots +6 v. Denver Broncos | Top | 16-26 | Loss | -115 | 109 h 45 m | Show |
This is a 10* play on the New England Patriots. The New England Patriots come in the second seed in the AFC and a playoff win at home over the Indianapolis Colts. The Patriots ran the ball with authority against the Colts in a 43-22 blowout. Legarrett Blount had 166 yards and four TD runs in the win. Tom Brady did not have to throw a touchdown pass surprisingly enough. The Denver Broncos come in the number one seed in the AFC and off a 24-17 win over San Diego in the Divisional round. Peyton Manning threw for 230 yards and two TDs in the win. Its
01-18-14 | Michigan +8 v. Wisconsin | Top | 77-70 | Win | 100 | 25 h 12 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on Michigan. Michigan (12-4) comes off an 80-67 win over Penn State. Nik Stauskas scored 13 of his 21 points in the second half, Derrick Walton added 16 points for the Wolverines, and Glenn Robinson III scored 15. Wisconsin (16-1) comes off a 71-75 loss at Indiana. All five Badgers starters scored in double figures -- Ben Brust had 13, Gasser and Frank Kaminsky each had 11, and Sam Dekker finished with 10. The Badgers lost their first game of the season and I expect the team will all it can handle with conference rival Michigan paying a visit. After a two point loss to top ranked Arizona, the Wolverines have won six in a row. With wins at Minnesota and Nebraska I have confidence in Michigan to compete in tough road conditions like it will be in Wisconsin. The Badgers may suffer a small letdown knowing their undefeated season is no more. Michigan isn
01-17-14 | Portland Trail Blazers v. San Antonio Spurs -5.5 | Top | 109-100 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 14 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER REVENGE BLOWOUT" on the San Antonio Spurs. The Portland Trailblazers (29-9) comes off a 108-96 win at home over Cleveland. LaMarcus Aldridge finished with 32 points and 18 rebounds and while Damian Lillard added 28 points for the Blazers who have won three straight. The San Antonio Spurs (31-8) come off a 109- 105 win at home over Utah. Tony Parker had 25 points and nine assists and San Antonio escaped a late rally to continue a nice win streak. The Spurs have won six in a row and I expect them to keep it going here against another one of West power house teams this season. The Spurs come in revenge minded after a 105-115 loss in Portland earlier this season and a 136-106 blowout loss in this very building the last time these two took to the court in Texas. The Spurs have won two the last three meetings between these two teams SU and ATS when it has been held in San Antonio. Note that the Spurs are 8-2 ATS after allowing 105 or more points in a game. The Trailblazers are just 7-12 ATS when facing a team that scores more than 99 points per game. Take the Spurs to get some revenge with a nice win here. AAA
01-16-14 | New York Knicks +10 v. Indiana Pacers | Top | 89-117 | Loss | -105 | 23 h 23 m | Show |
This is a 10* "EAST-COAST EXPRESS" on the New York Knicks. The New York Knicks (15-23) come off a 98-108 loss at the Charlotte Bobcats. Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 20 points and six rebounds. Tyson Chandler returned to the Knicks lineup in this game but was not much of factor in his first game back from injury. The Indiana Pacers (30-7) come off a 116-92 win over Sacramento at home. Paul George led the way with 31 points while David West had 16 points and eight rebounds, and Lance Stephenson added 13 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Pacers. The Knicks are playing some of their best basketball of the season despite the setback at Charlotte. Note the loss to the Bobcats was the on the tail end of a back-to-back situation. New York has quietly won six of its
01-15-14 | Memphis Grizzlies v. Milwaukee Bucks +5 | Top | 82-77 | Push | 0 | 25 h 41 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SITUATIONAL STUNNER" on the Milwaukee Bucks. The Memphis Grizzlies (18-19) come off a 90-87 win at home over Oklahoma City just last night. Courtney Lee scored a season-high 24 points, including the closing two free throws to ice it. Zach Randolph had 23 points and 13 rebounds and March Gasol scored 12 points in his return. The Milwaukee Bucks (7-30) come off a 94-116 loss at Toronto. Ersan Ilyasova score 29 points, Brandon Knight had 16 and Giannis Antetokounmpo 11 for the Bucks. The Bucks have the worst record in the NBA but this looks like a great opportunity for the team to really be in a game as the Grizzlies played a tough opponent in the Thunder just last night. I am expecting a major letdown here for the Grizzlies having to go on the road to face the worst team in the NBA. Memphis is just 5-6 ATS in games versus non conference opponents this season and has yet to be a road favorite of so many points. Look for the Bucks to step up and at least earn an ATS cover. 01-15-14 | Toronto Raptors v. Boston Celtics +4 | Top | 83-88 | Win | 100 | 24 h 14 m | Show |
This is a 10* "EAST-COAST EXPRESS" on the Boston Celtics. The Toronto Raptors (19-17) come off a 116-94 blowout of Milwaukee at home. Kyle Lowry scored 23 points, Jonas Valanciunas had 17 points and 10 rebounds and DeMar Derozan chipped in with 19 points in the win. The Boston Celtics (13-26) come off a 92-104 loss at Houston. Avery Bradley had 24 points for the Celtics, on their longest losing streak since dropping a franchise-record 18 straight games in 2007. The Raptors have enjoyed a very nice stretch here but I expect a bit of a letdown going back on the road to face a lowly Celtics team. Boston is 4-0 ATS when hosting the Raptors the last three seasons. The Raptors have lost its

Raphiael Putney led the Minutemen (14-1, 2-0 Atlantic-10) with 17 points and eight rebounds. Cady Lalanne scored 16 and Davis finished with eight. George Mason (7-9) comes off a 80-84 loss to St. Josephs. Jalen Jenkins and Bryon Allen each scored 20 points for George Mason (7-9, 0-2), which has dropped seven of its last nine. This is a 10* "PUCK LINE" play on the Minnesota Wild. The Ottawa Senators (20-18-8) come off a 2-1 shoot out win over Nashville on the road on Saturday. Kyle Turris scored in regulation for Ottawa, which has won five of its past six. Craig Anderson had 31 saves through overtime and was very solid through the shootout. The Minnesota Wild (25-18-5) come off a 4-0 win over Nashville on the road on Sunday. Dany Heatley had a goal and an assist while Darcy Kuemper made 23 saves for his first career shutout. The Wild are putting together a really nice streak here and I fully expect it to continue at home. The Wild is 5-1 in January and have won three of those games by two goals or more. The Wild took care of the Senators 4-3 in Canada the in November and should have a nicer advantage here at home. Note that Sens

This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on the New Orleans Pelicans. The San Antonio Spurs (29-8) comes off a 104-84 win at home over Minnesota just last night. Tim Duncan had 15 points and Tony Parker added 14 points and 10 assists for Western Conference-leading San Antonio. The New Orleans Pelicans (15-21) come off a narrow 107-110 loss at the Dallas Mavericks. Anthony Davis had 28 points and 14 rebounds for the Pelicans, who lost their fifth straight and dropped six games below .500, both season highs. The Pelicans have lost five in a row here and are pretty desperate for a win. I think this is a good opportunity to at least earn an ATS cover. Note that the Pelicans are a perfect 4-0 ATS versus the Spurs at home the past three seasons and 6-3 ATS in these matchups overall. The Spurs played just last night and are coming off a few blowout wins so I think they are prime to suffer a small letdown against a team that quite a few games under .500. The Pelicans actually won the last meeting with Spurs in New Orleans outright but have lost two straight at San Antonio since. Look for revenge to play a factor in this game too. Take the points with New Orleans. AAA

This is a 10* "UTLRA REVENGE ASSASSIN" on Duke. The Virginia Cavaliers (12-4) come in off a 76-45 beat down of North Carolina State. Mike Tobey and Joe Harris each had 16 points in the win. The Cavaliers held the Wolf Pack to a poultry 28.9 percent shooting from the floor in the massive win. The Duke Blue Devils (12-4) come off a 52-72 loss at Clemson. Rodney Hood led the Blue Devils with 20 points while Jabari Parker scored 15 points, only five after halftime. Duke has been pretty awful on the road this season but has taken care of home court so far this season and I expect we seen a nice bounce back from Coach K
01-12-14 | San Diego Chargers v. Denver Broncos -9.5 | Top | 17-24 | Loss | -105 | 149 h 52 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the Denver Broncos. The San Diego Chargers come in off an impressive 27-10 win at the Cincinnati Bengals on Wild Card weekend. The Chargers defense forced four turnovers and Philip Rivers was solid, going 12 of 16 for 128 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions during the rainy and windy day. The Denver Broncos come in off a bye week well rested for this game at home. The Broncos come in the overall number one seed in the AFC and off a record setting season. The Broncos only loss at home this season came to the Chargers and this smells like major revenge. Remember the loss to the Chargers was on a short work week where a lot of unexpected things can happen. After the loss to the Chargers, the Broncos have won two straight by an average of 22 points. Peyton Manning and the ever impressive Denver offense have had a lot of time to prepare for a playoff game and I expect an impressive performance. The Chargers having to play two road games in a row is not going to help things. While it might not be a 20 point blowout, look for a comfortable double digit win. AAA
01-12-14 | Wisc-Green Bay v. Wisc-Milwaukee +4.5 | Top | 93-86 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 11 m | Show |
This is a 9* "SUPER REVENGE ASSASSIN" on Wisconsin Milwaukee. W-Green Bay (12-3) come off a 98-62 win at the Chicago Cougars. Keifer Sykes and Alec Brown combined for 41 points as Green Bay overwhelmed Chicago State. Green Bay shot 55.9 percent from the field and controlled the boards, pulling down 47 rebounds, compared to 26 for the Cougars. Green Bay also dominated in the paint, making 52 points, compared to Green Bay's 20. Wi-Milwaukee (12-5) comes off a 84-75 win at Oakland. Steve McWhorter scored 17 points and finished with seven assists. The Panthers shot 27 of 54 from the floor (50 percent) and made nine 3-pointers. Oakland (6-12, 1-2) was held to 22-of-68 shooting. Milwaukee has the home court advantage here and that coupled with the extra points you are getting here should be more than enough to get an ATS cover. The Panthers are a profitable 10-4 ATS this year in all and 4-2 ATS at home. Green bay blew out Milwaukee 62-46 the last time these teams met. Note that was in Green Bay
01-12-14 | Southern Methodist +13.5 v. Louisville | Top | 63-71 | Win | 100 | 19 h 12 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SITUATIONAL DESTRUCTION" on SMU. SMU (11-3) come in off a 74-65 win at home over Connecticut. SMU shot 47.2 percent, including 53.6 percent during the second half when it outscored the Huskies 42-32. The Mustangs out rebounded UConn 37-29. Nic Moore scored 19 of his game-high 20 points in the first half. Louisville (13-3) come off a 73-67 at home to underdog Memphis. Luke Hancock had a season-high 20 points to lead Louisville. Louisville coems in the heavy favorite here but I think this game will be closer than expected. The Mustangs have lost just one game by more than seven points this season and that was to Arkansas all the way back on November 18th. SMU is coming off an outright win over a ranked opponent and looks like it is relishing the roll as underdog here. The Cardinals have lost two of their last four to some pretty decent opponents in Memphis and Kentucky. Still I think SMU is right there after showing us the ability to win over UConn. Louisville is 0-2 ATS after a conference game and 1-2 ATS versus conference opponents. Grab the double digit points here with SMU. AAA
01-11-14 | Indianapolis Colts v. New England Patriots -7 | Top | 22-43 | Win | 100 | 129 h 46 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the New England Patriots. The Indianapolis Colts comes in the Divisional Round playoffs off of the greatest comebacks in NFL history. The Colts were behind 38-10 at one point, but stormed back to beat the Kansas City Chiefs 45-44. T.Y Hilton was the star for the Colts, catching 13 passes for 224 yards and two TD scores. Andrew Luck was very human at times but still threw four touchdown passes in the win. It was the second biggest comeback in NFL history. The New England Patriots meanwhile watched the Colts win from home as the team is the second seed in the NFL playoffs and will be have home field for this game. The Patriots are a perfect 8-0 at Foxborough this season and covered the spread in six of those games. The Patriots have been one of the most banged up teams in the NFL this season and a week off is exactly what the team needs at this point. Bill Belchick will have his guys ready for this game as it will be the last home game this season the team plays. The Patriots have had the Colts number since Andrew Luck has entered the league, going 2-0 against them. The last time Luck visited Gillette, Brady went 24 of 35 for 331 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions, while Luck was 27 of 50 for 334 yards, two scores and three INTs. The Patriots do a good job of shutting down the other team
01-11-14 | California v. Oregon State +2 | Top | 88-83 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 26 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on Oregon State. The California Golden Bears (11-4) come off an impressive 93-83 win at Oregon. Freshman guard Jordan Mathews scored a season-high 32 points, and California beat No. 17 Oregon. Justin Cobbs had 20 points and 11 assists for the Golden Bears who shot 52.6 percent and had five players in double figures. Richard Solomon added 16 points and nine rebounds. Oregon State (9-6) comes off an 81-72 win at home over Stanford. Eric Moreland had 17 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks while Roberto Nelson added 21 points for the Beavers, and freshman Hallice Cooke, making his first career start, had 16 points. The Beavers were the slight underdog versus the Cardinal and came away with an easy win at home and I think we can expect something similar versus California. The Golden Bears come off a big upset win and I expect there to a bit of a letdown here, having to play a second game in a row just a few nights span on the road. California has lost the only other game on the road this season where it was favored by three points or less. Oregon State is a strong 7-1 at home this season while California is just 2-2. California has won the last two meetings between these teams by a combined total of just four points. Look for the Beavers to breakthrough and this one at home outright. Getting the points is very good with Oregon State. AAA
01-11-14 | Iowa State v. Oklahoma +3 | Top | 82-87 | Win | 100 | 17 h 29 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF THE GAME" on Oklahoma. Iowa State (14-0) comes in off a 87-72 win at home over Baylor. DeAndre Kane had a season-high 30 points with nine assists, eight rebounds and five steals while Melvin Ejim added 18 points for the Cyclone in the win. Oklahoma (12-3) comes off a 83-90 loss at home to Kansas. Cameron Clark had 32 points in the loss. It was the second time Clark has scored over 30 points this season and the team lost (at Michigan). The Sooners have now lost two of their last three games but I expect we see a more desperate effort here at home versus another high ranked team in the Cyclone. Oklahoma is 3-1 ATS as the underdog this season and 5-2 ATS after allowing 80 points or more in the previous game. Iowa State comes in the favorite with a perfect record but note this will arguably the toughest game on the road it has faced this season save for maybe BYU who it beat by just two points away from friendly confines. The Cyclones took two of three from the Sooners last season, including a 73-66 victory in the Big 12 tournament quarterfinals. Consider this a revenge for the Sooners in what should be a good close game with the home getting a good chance to win. AAA
01-09-14 | Arizona v. UCLA +1 | Top | 79-75 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 39 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE AGAINST THE SPREAD" on UCLA. The first ranked Arizona Wild Cats (15-0) come into this big time conference matchup off a 71-62 win at home over Washington. Nick Johnson scored 24 points, Aaron Gordon had 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Arizona pulled away late last Saturday. The UCLA Bruins (12-2) come off a dominant 107-73 win at home over USC. Kyle Anderson scored 23 points, leading four UCLA players who scored in double figures, as the Bruins handily beat USC in a Pac-12 Conference opener. The last really good team the Wild Cats beat on the road was Michigan and it was by just two points. I expect another close game here with red hot rival UCLA who likely be gunning hard to take down the top ranked team in the nation. The Bruins losses this season have been to good teams in Missouri and Duke so the Bruins will be looking to make a statement here. UCLA won the last meeting between these two teams by just one bucket and I like it to be very close again here with the Bruins taking home court for the win. The Bruins are undefeated at home. Take UCLA as the slight underdog. AAA
01-09-14 | Miami Heat -6.5 v. New York Knicks | Top | 92-102 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 58 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on the Miami Heat. The visiting Miami Heat (27-8) comes in off a 107-88 home win over New Orleans. LeBron James scored 32 points, Dwayne Wade added 22 points and eight assists, and the Heat trailed by 11 early in the second half before running away it. The New York Knicks (12-22) come off an 89-85 win over Detroit at home. Carmelo Anthony scored 34 points while Raymond Felton returned from his injury to chip in 12. This is a prime time matchup on the NBA Thursday night and I expect the Heat to be ready to play its
01-08-14 | Orlando Magic +13 v. Portland Trail Blazers | Top | 94-110 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 26 m | Show |
10* "INTERCONTINENTAL EXPRESS" on the Orlando Magic. The Orlando Magic (10-24) comes off a 80-101 blowout loss to the LA Clippers on the road. Victor Oladipo had 22 points and eight rebounds in a losing effort. The Magic were blown in LA despite the fact the Clippers did have Chris Paul in the lineup. The Portland Trailblazers (26-9) come off a 119-123 loss at Sacramento just last night. Damien Lillard had 41 points while LaMarcus Aldridge added 24 points and 11 rebounds in a losing cause. While the Magic have certainly struggled of late note the team comes in a better situation here after having a day off as the Blazers played a barn burner of a game last night Sacramento. Note Orlando is a perfect 4-0 this season and 10-1 the past three seasons a road underdog of 12.5 points or more. The past two meetings
01-08-14 | Ohio v. Kent State -1.5 | Top | 59-53 | Loss | -106 | 22 h 14 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE AGAINST THE SPREAD" on Kent State. The Ohio Bobcats (10-3) comes off a 79-70 win over UNC-Asheville. Maurice Ndour scored 19 of his career-high 27 points in the second half as Ohio rallied from a 12-point halftime deficit. Nick Kellogg added 23 points for the Bobcats. Kent State (9-4) comes off a 68-73 loss at Princeton. Devareaux Manley had 17 points in a losing effort for the Golden Flashes. Kent State has lost two in a row but I feel like this a good spot for the team to get back in the win column. The Golden Flashes are 7-2 SU in home games and 4-2 ATS versus teams with a winning record this season. Ohio is 3-2 in road games this season and will be playing its
01-07-14 | Ohio State v. Michigan State -4.5 | Top | 68-72 | Loss | -110 | 29 h 51 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SITUATIONAL DESTRUCTION" on Michigan State. Ohio State (15-0) comes off an 84-53 win over Nebraska. Amedeo Della Valle had 15 points, Marc Loving scored a career-high 13 and the bench provided 38 points for the rolling Buckeyes. Michigan State (13-1) comes off a 73-56 win over Indiana. Garry Harris had 26 points and Branden Dawson added 13 points for the Spartans. These are two big time programs with solid teams this year as showed by rankings and schedules. The Spartans have the home court advantage here I expect it to be enough pull out the nice win over a Buckeyes team that they probably feel needs a loss here in the season. Michigan State has played back to back road games and won them easily and should be in a good frame of mind here at home to face a big time team in Ohio State. This is by far the best team Ohio State has played and I could definitely see the team struggle to score against a suffocating Michigan State home defense. The Spartans allow just 59 points per game at home on average. This game serves as double revenge motivation for the Spartans who have lost two in a row to their rivals. Michigan State is 4-0 ATS in games where it a home favorite of 3.5-6 points. Lay the short points with Michigan State here. AAA
01-07-14 | Philadelphia 76ers v. Cleveland Cavaliers -4.5 | Top | 93-111 | Win | 100 | 27 h 58 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE AGAINST THE SPREAD" on the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Philadelphia 76ers (12-22) come off a 126-95 blowout loss Minnesota. James Anderson had 14 points, and Michael Carter-Williams and Evan Turner each scored 13 points for the Sixers in a losing cause. The Cleveland Cavaliers (11-23) come off a hard fought 78-82 loss at home to Indiana. C.J. Miles scored 21 and Waiters had 14 for the Cavaliers, who played their third game in a row without All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving. This is really a tough schedule for the Sixers here as the team just came back from a five game road trip out west and now have to go to Cleveland. Even some of the players complained about it. "I've never seen a schedule like this coming back from a West Coast trip," said center Spencer Hawes. "It's not like we're just getting to stay home.
01-06-14 | Auburn v. Florida State -8.5 | Top | 31-34 | Loss | -110 | 707 h 42 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BOWL GAME OF THE YEAR" on Florida State. Well you likely heard, read or seen all the build up to this National Championship game. The underdog Auburn team is coming off three heart stopping wins over Georgia, Alabama and Missouri to get to this point. Florida State has been rolling all opponents this season, winning by an average of more than 27 points. The Seminoles bring in arguably the biggest game changer in college football this year win Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston and I think him, along with an underappreciated defense will make this an easy win for the favorites here. At some point the luck will run out for a Auburn that is playing little defense on its way the National Championship game. The Tigers ranked a disappointing 88th nationally in total defense (423.5 ypg allowed), while yielding 260.2 yards per game passing (104th nationally). They aren
01-05-14 | North Carolina v. Wake Forest +5 | Top | 67-73 | Win | 100 | 15 h 4 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ASSASSIN" on Wake Forest. This is a 10* "ASSASSIN" on Wake Forest. The North Carolina Tar Heels (10-3) come off an 84-51 blowout win over UNC-Wilmington. James McAdoo had 23 points and 10 rebounds while Marcus Paige chipped in 15 points as well. Wake Forest (10-3) looks to bounce back off a 53-68 loss at Xavier. Codi Miller-McIntyre led the Demon Deacon with 11 points and Coron Williams added 10 -all in the first half. This is a big high profile team and both teams are playing pretty well heading into this game and I expect to see a well played game, especially from the home team. The Demon Deacons are 9-0 SU at home this season and will be highly motivated here as this is a TV game against a huge conference rival in the Tar Heels. North Carolina is 5-6 ATS as the favorite this season and I think the level of competition is very high here with Wake Forest and perhaps the Tar Heels shouldn

01-04-14 | New Orleans Saints +2.5 v. Philadelphia Eagles | Top | 26-24 | Win | 102 | 129 h 35 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the New Orleans Saints. The New Orleans Saints come into the Playoffs off an 11-5 SU and 8-8 ATS season. The Saints played the last game of the regular season at home; a 42-17 beat down of Tampa Bay. Drew Brees threw for 381 yards and four touchdowns in the win. The host Philadelphia Eagles come in with a 10-6 SU and 8-8 ATS record. The Eagles come off a 24-22 win at Dallas on Sunday night to end the regular season. The Eagles were the 7 point favorites but had to get a game ending pick on Cowboys backup QB Kyle Orton. The Eagles come in the favorite thanks to a few blown games on the road by the Saints. Still, we have to remember that the Eagles have first year coach and QB combination in Chip Kelly and Nick Foles. The Saints have a veteran combo who has won the Super Bowl in Sean Peyton and Drew Brees. This is a strong advantage for New Orleans. A lot people are blasting the Saints for not winning games on the road this season. I think the team is due for a win here. Grab the points with good value in the Saints with a chance for the outright win. AAA
01-04-14 | New Orleans Pelicans v. Indiana Pacers -11 | Top | 82-99 | Win | 100 | 14 h 49 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE AGAINST THE SPREAD" on the Indiana Pacers. The New Orleans Pelicans (15-16) come off a 95-92 win at the Boston Celtics. Anthony Davis had 23 points, nine rebounds and three blocks and Tyreke Evans chipped in with 16 points in the win. The Indiana Pacers (25-6) look to bounce back off a 82-95 loss at Toronto. The Pacers are 15-1 at home this season and covered the spread the in 11 of those games. The Pelicans will be playing the back end of a back-to-back situation and will be in tough here versus a pissed off Pacers team. New Orleans is 1-4 SU when in this situation having the second night in a row. The Pacers are 4-1 ATS versus the Pelicans the past three seasons. Indiana is also a perfect 2-0 SU and ATS when looking to bounce back off a loss of 10 points or more. New Orleans is 6-11 on the road but just 0-2 ATS when the underdog when given 9.5-12 points this season. Lay the points with Indiana. AAA
01-04-14 | Kansas City Chiefs v. Indianapolis Colts -2.5 | Top | 44-45 | Loss | -110 | 125 h 1 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the Indianapolis Colts. Kansas City really turned things around this season, finishing the regular season at 11-5 SU and 9-7 ATS. The Chiefs decided to rest a lot of their star players in the final game of the regular season, a 24-27 OT loss to the San Diego Chargers. Ironically Kansas City only failed to win the game because kicker Ryan Succop missed a 40 yard field goal. The Indianapolis Colts finished strong, winning the AFC South with an 11-5 SU and 9-6 ATS record after a 30-10 demolition of Jacksonville at home. T.Y. Hilton had 155 yards on 11 receptions. The Colts hammered the Chiefs in Kansas City just a few weeks ago and I expect another nice win here at home for the blue and white. It has been a tale of two seasons really for the Kansas City where they started the year off on a massive roll but stumbled down the stretch because of playing a tougher schedule more than anything. The Chiefs have lost five of last seven contests and was just 1-3 ATS versus teams with a winning record. Note that Kansas City allowed 12.3 points per game in its first nine and 27.7 in the last seven. The Colts meanwhile finished the season winning four of five and some of the blowout variety. Indianapolis has dropped three straight in the postseason after last season's 24-9 wild-card loss to eventual Super Bowl champion Baltimore. This team is young but I think it bounces back with a win here. Lay the short points. AAA

01-03-14 | Drexel +7 v. Southern Mississippi | Top | 49-66 | Loss | -106 | 26 h 44 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ONE AND ONLY" on Drexel. Drexel (8-4) come in off a 52-55 loss to Buffalo. It was not a good shooting performance here for the Dragons who shot just 32.5 percent from the field. Tavon Allen led Drexel with 14 points as only three players scored double digit points. Southern Miss (12-2) comes off a 77-64 win over Rhode Island. Neil Watson and Michael Craig scored 14 points each. The Dragons are coming off a tough loss where the team did not play well but I expect a better performance here from the team. Note that Drexel is a profitable 4-1 ATS on the road. The most Drexel has been very tough in every loss this season, just once losing by more than five points to an opponent(10). Southern Miss hasn
01-03-14 | Toronto Raptors v. Washington Wizards -2.5 | Top | 101-88 | Loss | -128 | 25 h 51 m | Show |
This is a 10* "EAST-COAST EXPRESS" on the Washington Wizards. The Toronto Raptors (15-15) come in off a 92-84 win at home over the Indiana Pacers. DeMar DeRozan scored 26 points, Kyle Lowry had 13 points and a season-high 14 assists and the Raptors extended their season-best winning streak to four games. The Washington Wizards (14-15) come off a 78-87 loss at home to the Dallas Mavericks. The Wizards led the team with 22 points. The Raptors are no doubt on a nice roll here but I think there is a bit of let down here with a road game after a big home win over one the leagues

01-02-14 | Oklahoma v. Alabama -14.5 | Top | 45-31 | Loss | -110 | 535 h 55 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOWOUT" on Alabama. Oklahoma comes into the Sugar Bowl at 10-2 SU and 7-5 ATS out of the Big 12. The Sooners played spoilers well in beating rival Oklahoma State 33-24. Sterling Shepard had seven receptions fo 112 yards and back up QB Blake Bell filled in lead the Sooners to win nicely. Alabama comes in 11-1 SU and 7-5 ATS out of the SEC. I think everyone in the sporting world saw how the Crimson Tide fell 28-34 to Auburn in the Iron Bowl. The Tide lost on 99 yards missed FG return by Auburn. It
01-02-14 | Boston Celtics v. Chicago Bulls -4 | Top | 82-94 | Win | 100 | 15 h 30 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE AGAINST THE SPREAD" on the Chicago Bulls. The Boston Celtics (13-18) come off a 92-91 loss at home to the Atlanta Hawks. Kelly Olynyk scored a career-high 21 points and Kris Humphries had 18 points and 10 rebounds as Boston's reserves scored 56 -- more than half of the team's total. None of Boston's starters scored in double figures. The Chicago Bulls (12-18) comes off a 79-85 loss at home to Toronto. Luol Deng has 16 points while Joakim Noah chipped in seven points and 16 rebounds in a losing cause. The Bulls have lost two in a row at home to streaking teams in Toronto and Dallas but I expect the team to bounce back and not make it three losses in row here with the Celtics coming into town. Luol Deng has averaged 23.8 points while hitting 10 of 22 from 3-point range in his last five home games in this series. Boston has lost six in row and is coming off a demoralizing one point loss at home to Atlanta. Note the Bulls are 3-1 SU and ATS versus Boston at home the past three season seasons. This game also sets up as a revenge situation as the Celtics held the Bulls to just 69 points in Boston the previous meeting between these two teams. Consider laying the short points with Chicago. 01-02-14 | Oregon v. Utah +4 | Top | 70-68 | Win | 100 | 14 h 24 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER-BLOWOUT" on Utah. The Oregon Ducks (12-0) comes in off a 97-76 win over Morgan State. Joseph Young scored 24 points and Oregon continued its best start in eight seasons. Richard Amardi had a season-high 16 points in his first start of the season, and Damyean Dotson scored 15 points for the Ducks. The Utah Utes (11-1) wrapped up its non-conference schedule Saturday with a 124-51 win over St. Katherine, an NAIA school playing its inaugural season. Neither team has faced a ranked opponent at this point. Utah is a perfect 11-0 at home. The Ducks only win on the road was an OT win at Ole Miss. I think Oregon is going to have its
01-01-14 | Charlotte Bobcats v. Los Angeles Clippers -10 | Top | 85-112 | Win | 100 | 28 h 13 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ASSASSIN" on the LA Clippers. The Charlotte Bobcats (14-18) come off an 80-83 loss at the Utah Jazz. Al Jefferson had 18 points and 10 rebounds and Kemba Walker added 18 points in a losing effort. The LA Clippers (21-12) come off a disappointing 88-107 loss at home to the Phoenix Suns. Blake Griffin and Jamal Crawford each scored 15 points for Los Angeles, while Chris Paul had 11 points and seven assists. It was the most lopsided loss of the season for the Clippers. The Clippers come off an embarrassing loss and I expect the team to bounce back and get a big win of their own this New Year
01-01-14 | Michigan State +4.5 v. Stanford | Top | 24-20 | Win | 100 | 508 h 35 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOWOUT" on Michigan State. Michigan State out of the Big Ten comes into the Rose Bowl at 12-1 SU and 8-4 off an upset win over Ohio State 34-24 to win the conference. Conner Cook finished 24-of-40 for a career-high 304 yards and three scores. Langford ran 24 times for 128 yards. Stanford won the PAC 12 with an 11-2 SU and 7-6 ATS record after taking out Arizona State 38-14. Tyler Gaffney ran for 133 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead the Cardinal to its
01-01-14 | Wisconsin +1 v. South Carolina | Top | 24-34 | Loss | -112 | 503 h 22 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOWOUT" on Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Badgers come into the Capital One Bowl at 9-3 SU and 9-2 ATS out of the Big Ten. The Badgers were edged out 24-31 by Penn State the last time they saw action. The Badgers only have themselves to blame. They were uncharacteristically prone to mental errors and mistakes, turning over the ball three times. South Carolina out of the SEC comes in at 10-2 SU and 6-6 ATS after a 31-17 win over Clemson. Conner Shaw threw for 152 yards and a TD and also ran for 92 yards and major in the win. Wisconsin's offense this season has been a potent one, boasting 35.8 points per game thanks largely to the nation's eighth-ranked rushing attack (283.0 ypg). Facing a number of SEC teams with high-powered rushing attacks, South Carolina allowed only 142.2 yards per game on the ground and clearly has the capacity to bottle up Gordon and White, which will give it a strong chance at the victory. However, Wisconsin's defense will be the difference-maker in this one against a Gamecocks' offense that lacks explosion. Its
12-31-13 | Marquette +9.5 v. Creighton | Top | 49-67 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 23 m | Show |
This is a 10* "DESTRUCTION" on Marquette. Marquette (8-5) comes off a 74-58 win at home over Samford. Jajuan Johnson came off the bench to score 14 points and the Marquette reserves scored 50 points. It was a nice easy warm up game for the Eagles as the team is about start conference play. Creighton (10-2) comes in off an easy win itself, a 90-58 demolition of Chicago State. Doug McDermott scored 24 points, and Ethan Wragge made four 3-pointers in a row to break open the game in the second half. This will be the first game for either team in the new
12-31-13 | Golden State Warriors v. Orlando Magic +6 | Top | 94-81 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 37 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE-AGAINST-THE-SPREAD" on the Orlando Magic. The Golden State Warriors (19-13) come in off a 108-104 OT win at Cleveland. Seth Curry continued his great run with 29 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds. David Lee finished with 19 points in the win. The Orlando Magic (10-20) come off a 109-102 win at home over Atlanta. Arron Afflalo scored 21 points, rookie Victor Oladipo added 15 points and eight assists off the bench. The Warriors are 8-9 on the road this season and I think with the defense it plays away from friendly confines it will be tough to cover a spread here in Orlando. Orlando is 13-9 ATS as an underdog this season and 6-3 ATS when playing a team with a winning record. The Magic have won two in a row here on a nice late December home stand. Orlando is 3-0 SU and ATS versus Golden State in recent meetings. Look for a dogfight here and grab the points. AAA
12-30-13 | Miami Heat v. Denver Nuggets +2 | Top | 97-94 | Loss | -107 | 10 h 18 m | Show |
This is a 10* "INTERCONTINENTAL EXPRESS" on the Denver Nuggets. The Miami Heat (23-7) come off an entertaining 108-107 win at the Portland Trailblazers. The Heat was without LeBron James so Chris Bosh stepped up with 37 points, including a game winning three-pointer. The Denver Nuggets (14-15) look to bounce back off a 99-120 loss at the Memphis Grizzlies. Ty Lawson was effective totalling 20 points and eight assists in the loss. Obviously the defending champs are one of the best teams in the league right now but I expect them to have a hard time covering any sort of spread in this game. The Nuggets will be looking to bounce back here after getting just hammered in Memphis. We see teams step up and motivated basketball against the Heat and I expect that to be the case here. This is a 10* "PLATINUM CLUB SUPER-BLOWOUT" on NC State. North Carolina State (9-3) comes off a disappointing and narrow 64-68 loss versus the ranked Missouri Tigers. T. J Warren had 24 points and 13 rebounds and Desmond Lee chipped in 12 points in the loss. UNC Greensboro (7-7) come off a 55-52 win over Virginia Tech. Kayel Locke had 15 points and Kyle Cain chipped in with 18 points and 10 rebounds in the win. The Wolfpack really felt like they let one slip away versus the Tigers and I expect they take it out on their opponent here. UNC-Greensboro is coming off a win and they have been inconsistent this season winning one, losing one in succession for the last six games. NC State had won seven in a row before losing to the Tigers. The Wolf Pack won this same meeting last season 89-68 as a 22.5 point favorite. Look for a similar win here. Lay the points. AAA
12-29-13 | Quinnipiac +7 v. Oregon St | Top | 68-76 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 26 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SITUATIONAL DESTRUCTION" on Quinnipiac. The Bobcats enter this game at 6-4 and off a 69-58 loss at Lehigh. Ike Azotam led the way with 18 points and eight boards; Ousmane Drame chipped in 14 points and nine boards while Kasim Chandler added 11 points (note though that Quinnipiac is 3-2 ATS in its last five non-conference games). The Beavers are 7-4 and are also coming off a loss, a 79-73 setback at Hawaii on Christmas Day. I believe this sets up as a classic "look ahead" spot for the home side, with a road game at No. 21 Colorado on January 2nd (note that Oregon State is just 1-3 ATS this year vs. teams with winning records). These two teams are actually very evenly matched, but the strong trends and the situation point to Quinnipiac as the sharp wager here. Grab the points. AAA
12-29-13 | Philadelphia 76ers +7.5 v. Los Angeles Lakers | Top | 111-104 | Win | 100 | 10 h 53 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE AGAINST THE SPREAD" on the Philadelphia 76ers. A couple of bad teams collide on Sunday night and I'm expecting this one to end much closer than what the oddsmakers are leading us to believe. LA has been brutal on both ends of the court of late, losing four of its last five at home and four straight overall. Note that the Lakers are already down Kobe Bryant, Steve Blake and Steve Nash, and are likely to be without the services of Pau Gasol today due to an infection (note that LA is just 6-8 ATS in its last 14 vs. good offensive teams which score 99 plus points per contest). Here's a perfect opponent for the 76ers' to take advantage of; keep your eyes on Thaddeus Young, who had 30 points in last nights 115-101 loss in Phoenix (note that Philadelphia is 9-6 ATS in its last 15 after a loss by 10 points or more). Despite playing last night, Philadelphia is going to cause some match-up issues for the under-manned Lakers; while the outright win isn't out of the question, I'll recommend grabbing the points. 12-29-13 | Buffalo Bills v. New England Patriots -9 | Top | 20-34 | Win | 100 | 147 h 43 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the New England Patriots. The Buffalo Bills earned an impressive 19-0 win over the Miami Dolphins last week to move to 6-9 SU and 8-7 ATS. Veteran defensive tackle Kyle Williams and rookie cornerback Nickell Robey had two sacks apiece. Mario Williams, Jerry Hughes and Da'Norris Searcy added one each in helping Buffalo to its first shutout in over two years. The New England Patriots clinched the Division in Baltimore with an impressive 41-7 win. Logan Ryan had two INTs and a return TD while Chandler Jones also returned a fumble for a TD late to put this game away. Tom Brady threw on TD pass to Shane Vereen early and the Patriots easily salted this one away. The Patriots always call this time of the year the payoff time and they want to playing their best football going into the playoffs so I am expecting a big win here. The Patriots are 5-2 ATS and 7-0 SU at home this season. The Bills are just 2-5 SU and ATS on the road this season. If the Patriots win and the Broncos lose they would get the 1st overall seed in the AFC. It would be more devastating for the Pats to lose since the team could drop to the third seed with a Bengals win. Don
12-29-13 | Tampa Bay Buccaneers v. New Orleans Saints -12.5 | Top | 17-42 | Win | 100 | 147 h 42 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the New Orleans Saints. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers come into the last week of the regular season at 4-11 SU and 6-9 ATS. The Bucs fell to St. Louis 13-23 on the road last Sunday. The Buccaneers managed just 170 total yards, setting a season low for the second straight week. Vincent Jackson had five catches for 98 yards but Rainey was held to 37 yards on 20 carries and Glennon was 16 of 26 for just 158 yards minus 47 yards on the sacks. The New Orleans Saints fell to Carolina on the road last week 13-17 to fall to 10-5 SU and 7-8 ATS on the season. Drew Brees threw for 281 yards one TD and two INTs. Jimmy Graham had one TD catch on 73 yards receiving in the loss. The loss to the Panthers has really made this game a big deal for the Saints who have wide range of possibilities that could happen this weekend. The Saints make it in the post season if they win though and I expect them to treat it like a playoff game here. Note New Orleans is a perfect 7-0 SU at home and have covered the spread in six of those games. The Bucs are 1-6 SU and 2-5 ATS on the road this season and is 0-2 SU and ATS versus Saints on the road. Lay the points here and don
12-29-13 | Kansas City Chiefs v. San Diego Chargers -10 | Top | 24-27 | Loss | -105 | 147 h 41 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the San Diego Chargers. Kansas City comes into the final week of the season at 11-4 SU and 8-7 ATS after a disappointing 7-23 loss at home to Indianapolis Colts. Jamaal Charles had the lone TD early in the game and was really the only effective offensive player for the Chiefs, gaining over 100 yards on the ground. The loss eliminated the team from the number seed in the AFC. The San Diego Chargers have won three in a row after a 25-13 win at home over Oakland to move to 8-7 SU and 9-5 ATS on the season. Philip Rivers threw for 201 yards, one TD and one INT. Keenan Allen had his eighth score of the season while Ryan Matthews 99 yards and a score in the win. The Chiefs have very little to play for here while the Chargers have everything to play for. San Diego is 5-2 ATS in home games and is rolling at the right time of year, having won three games in a row. The Chiefs are 1-2 ATS as the underdog. Andy Reid has already talked about resting his starters for this game. This game should be a massive blowout. Lay the points. AAA
12-29-13 | Jacksonville Jaguars v. Indianapolis Colts -11.5 | Top | 10-30 | Win | 100 | 143 h 20 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the Indianapolis Colts. The Jacksonville Jaguars come into week 17 at 4-11 SU and 5-9 ATS after a 16-20 loss at home to Tennessee. Chad Henne finished the game 24-of-34 for 237 yards, two TDs and one INT. Mike Brown had 71 yards and one TD as well in the loss. The Indianapolis Colts come into the final week of the season 10-5 SU and 8-6 ATS after an impressive 23-7 win at the Kansas City Chiefs. Donald Brown had 71 yards and a TD while Jerrell Freeman had two interceptions. Griff Whalen was impressive all game for the Colts, grabbing seven balls for 80 tough yards. The Colts have an outside shot at a first round bye here and I expect them to have no problems at home versus a Jags team that isn
12-29-13 | Detroit Lions +3.5 v. Minnesota Vikings | Top | 13-14 | Win | 100 | 143 h 19 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the Detroit Lions. The Detroit Lions come into the final week of the season 7-8 SU and 6-9 ATS after a crushing 20-23 OT loss at home versus the NY Giants. The loss effectively eliminated Detroit from the playoffs race. Matthew Stafford was pretty bad to be honest, going 25 of 42 for 222 yards and two interceptions. Calvin Johnson, questionable for the game because of an injured right knee, wasn't the targeted receiver once after making three catches for 43 yards in the first half. The Minnesota Vikings come into the final week at 4-10-1 SU and 8-7 ATS after getting blown out 14-42 at the Cincinnati. Matt Cassel struggled mightily, throwing one TD to his three INTs. The Vikings were 0-9 on third downs. All the pressure is off the Lions here now and I think the ultra talented team comes out with one last good performance this week as there is sure to be changes next season. A rallying point is likely going to be Jim Schwartz who is very much on the hot seat and likely on his way out. The Lions are 4-1 ATS versus divisional opponents and I think show up here in true Lions fashion, when it doesn t count. The Vikings have underachieved as well this season but to label them the favorite here is a little strong. Minnesota is 1-2 ATS as the favorite this season. Grab the points with Detroit with a good shot at the outright win. AAA
12-29-13 | Baltimore Ravens v. Cincinnati Bengals -5.5 | Top | 17-34 | Win | 100 | 143 h 18 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the Cincinnati Bengals. The Baltimore Ravens come into the final week of the season at 8-7 SU and 7-7 ATS after a 7-41 loss at home to the New England Patriots. It was the Ravens' most lopsided loss since a 37-0 defeat at Pittsburgh in 1997. Joe Flacco went 22 for 38 for 260 yards and two interceptions for the Ravens, who fell to 6-2 at home. The Cincinnati Bengals crushed the Vikings 42-14 win at home last week to move to 10-5 SU and 9-5 ATS. Andy Dalton threw four touchdown passes on Sunday, and linebacker Vincent Rey returned an interception 25 yards for a score and the Bengals had another big day at home. The Ravens have to win this game but I don

12-27-13 | DePaul +4 v. Northwestern | Top | 57-56 | Win | 100 | 27 h 14 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE AGAINST THE SPREAD" on DePaul. DePaul (7-5) looks to bounce back off a 64-69 loss at Illinois State. DePaul was led by Billy Garrett with 18 points. Brandon Young added 17 and Durrell McDonald chipped in with 10 points in a losing effort. Northwestern (7-5) come off a 58-52 win at home over Brown. Drew Crawford led Northwestern with 24 points, 17 in the first half. Alex Olah scored eight of his 10 points in the second half and Kale Abrahamson had nine of his 11 in the final 20 minutes, allowing cold-shooting Northwestern to pull out a 58-52 win. DePaul had won three in a row before really stinking up the joint at Illinois State so I really expect bounce back performance here. Northwestern is just 1-4 ATS when facing teams with winning record this season and 2-3 SU. DePaul posing a considerable challenge here and laying some points may be hard to do when the goal is just to win the game. Northwestern could easily get caught looking a little ahead to a big matchup next on it
12-27-13 | Washington Wizards v. Minnesota Timberwolves -6 | Top | 98-120 | Win | 100 | 26 h 20 m | Show |
This is a 10* "INTERCONTINENTAL EXPRESS" on the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Washington Wizards (12-13) come off a 106-99 win at Boston. Trevor Ariza had 27 points and John Wall added 20 while Nene, Gortat and Kevin Seraphin scored 13 points each for the Wizards. The Minnesota Timberwolves (13-15) come off a thrilling 116-120 loss at the LA Clippers. Kevin Love had a season-high 45 points and tied a season best with 19 rebounds and Nikola Pekovic had a career-high 34 points and 14 boards. The T
12-26-13 | Los Angeles Clippers v. Portland Trail Blazers -4 | Top | 112-116 | Push | 0 | 31 h 51 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SITUATIONAL DESTRUCTION" on the Portland Trailblazers. The LA Clippers (20-10) come into this game off a 103-105 narrow loss at Golden State just last night. Chris Paul had 26 points and 11 assists as he and Stephen Curry. Blake Griffin added 20 points, 14 rebounds and five assists before a double technical sent him out of the game. The Clippers actually never trailed in the first half but up the lead in a sea-saw fourth quarter. The Portland Trailblazers (23-5) come in off a 110-107 win at home over New Orleans. Damien Lillard scored 29 points and LaMarcus Aldridge and Wes Matthews added 18 points each for the Blazers. This is certainly a tough spot for the Clippers who had to play in Golden State just last night and now have to travel up the coast to face arguably the hottest team in the West at home. Portland is 11-2 SU and 8-5 ATS in friendly confines. The Clippers meanwhile are 0-2 SU as an underdog on the road of 3.5-6 points meaning its been tough to beat good teams away from home for LA. The Clippers are just 8-8 on the road after last night's loss in Golden State. This game also sets up as double revenge as the Clippers crushed the Trailblazers last season in two trips to LA. The Trailblazers have put it all together this season and I expect are feeling a disrespected after not playing in the big Christmas day games. Lay the points with Portland in game that really could have a bigger spread. AAA
12-26-13 | Atlanta Hawks v. Cleveland Cavaliers +2 | Top | 127-125 | Push | 0 | 27 h 23 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE AGAINST THE SPREAD" on the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Atlanta Hawks (15-13) come off a 119-121 OT loss at home loss at the Miami Heat just before Christmas. Jeff Teague scored 26 points and Paul Millsap added 25 and 10 rebounds, but the Hawks blew a seven-point lead with 90 seconds left in regulation. The Cleveland Cavaliers (10-17) come off a pair of ugly defeats, falling 100-84 at Chicago on Saturday and 115-92 to Detroit on Monday. Kyrie Irving had 21 points but Andrew Bynum was held scoreless for the first time this season after going 0 of 11 from the floor. The Hawks played the defending champs well but I think they suffer a bit of letdown here playing the Cavaliers on the road. The Cavaliers are desperate for a good effort here and should have a good chance facing a Hawks team that is just 4-9 on the road. Cleveland is 8-5 at home and should be looking for revenge here having lost the last two straight to Atlanta. The last time the Cavs hosted the Hawks, it was a 99-83 win for the home team. Look for the Cavs to get it done here. Take Cleveland plus a couple points. AAA
12-25-13 | Houston Rockets v. San Antonio Spurs -6 | Top | 111-98 | Loss | -110 | 31 h 7 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the San Antonio Spurs. The Houston Rockets (18-11) come off a 104-111 loss at home to the Dallas Mavericks. Dwight Howard had 29 points and 15 rebounds for the Rockets, who were playing their second straight game without leading scorer James Harden, who was out with a sprained left ankle. Jeremy Lin, who has been out since Dec. 13 because of back spasms, scored 20 and Chandler Parsons had 21 for Houston, all in a losing effort. The San Antonio Spurs (22-6) come off a 112-99 win at home over Toronto. Tony Parker had 26 points and eight assists while Danny Green was 4 for 6 on 3-pointers in scoring 14 points for the Spurs. The Rockets have been pretty inconsistent of late, wining one and losing one since the 12 of December. I can
12-23-13 | Morehead St. v. Tennessee -13.5 | Top | 67-82 | Win | 100 | 24 h 18 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE AGAINST THE SPREAD" on Tennessee. Morehead State (8-5) comes in off a 120-83 win over South Dakota. Drew Kelly scored a career-high 40 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, and Kareem Storey tied a school record with 16 assists as Morehead State dominated South Dakota. Tennessee (6-4) comes in off a 58-65 loss. Jordan McRae scored 21 points for Tennessee. The team shot 29.4 percent (20 of 68) overall and 12.5 percent (3 of 24) from 3-point range. Jeronne Maymon had 17 points and 16 rebounds for Tennessee. Jordan Stokes added 10 points and 13 rebounds in the team

12-22-13 | Chicago Bears +3 v. Philadelphia Eagles | Top | 11-54 | Loss | -103 | 36 h 8 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on the Chicago Bears. The Chicago Bears sit at 8-6 SU and 4-9 ATS after a 38-31 win at Cleveland. Jay Cutler finished 22 of 31 for 265 yards and validated first-year coach Marc Trestman's decision to stick with him over McCown, who had played so well while filling in for Chicago's starter. Matt Forte had 127 yards rushing and Brandon Marshall had 95 yards receiving and a TD in the win. The Philadelphia Eagles fell to 8-6 SU and 7-7 ATS after a 30-48 loss at Minnesota. Nick Foles threw for a career-high 428 yards and second-half touchdown scores to DeSean Jackson, Zach Ertz and Jason Avant. This game was deemed so big it was flexed into the prime time spot on NBC over the Ravens Patriots and I have no doubt it should be a good one. The Bears have won two in row SU and ATS while the Eagles are coming off their first loss in five games. The Eagles are just 5-6 ATS this season as the favorite. This promises to be a tight affair with so much on the line. Regardless of how the Cowboys, Lions and Packers fare, this game will still give the winner the edge for the No. 3 seed over the other. With Jay Cutler back and playing well there could very easily be a Bears out right win here. this is an Eagles secondary that let Matt Cassel throw for 382 yards last week. Despite the Vikings missing Adrian Peterson, Philadelphia gave up more than 21 points for the first time in 10 games. Lay the points in prime time with Chicago. AAA
12-22-13 | New England Patriots +2.5 v. Baltimore Ravens | Top | 41-7 | Win | 100 | 32 h 4 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the New England Patriots. The New England Patriots sit at 10-4 SU and 6-8 ATS after a 20-24 loss at the Miami Dolphins. Brady went 34 for 55 and threw two scores. Julian Edelman made 13 catches for 139 yards, and Amendola added 10 receptions for 131 yards. The Patriots mounted drives of 16 and 15 plays but settled for a field goal each time, and Gostkowski misfired on a field-goal try for only the third time this year when he sailed a 48-yard attempt wide left. The Baltimore Ravens continued its hot streak, winning a 18-16 thriller at Detroit to move to 8-6 SU and 7-6 ATS. Kicker Justin Tucker accounted for all 18 points, including the game winning 61-yarder to seal it late. Rookie Matt Elam had the game sealing INT on Matt Stafford late to really seal it. 12-22-13 | Indianapolis Colts +7 v. Kansas City Chiefs | Top | 23-7 | Win | 100 | 29 h 41 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the Indianapolis Colts. The Indianapolis Colts bounced back nicely to move to 9-5 SU and 7-6 ATS after a dominating 25-3 win at home over Houston. Andrew Luck finished 19 of 32 for 180 yards with the two first-half TD passes that gave the Colts a 20-3 halftime lead and the team defence salted it away from there. Kansas City moved to 11-3 SU and 8-6 ATS after a 56-10 win over Oakland. Jamal Charles had a monstrous five total touchdowns in the win. Alex Smith threw four of his five TD passes to Charles, going 17 for 20 for 287 yards to make the Chiefs the fourth team ever to make the playoffs a year after losing at least 14 games. The Chiefs have been beating up on some terrible defensive play from Washington and Oakland the past two weeks leading to some stupid point totals. I think we see a better defensive effort from the Colts here to make it a lot more difficult on the Chiefs. Note that Kansas City is just 2-5 ATS at home this season and 0-2 ATS as a home favorite of 3.5-7 points. Though Kansas City has won by a combined 60 points the past two weeks, there are still issues to fix on the defensive end. Over their past eight games, the Chiefs have allowed 47 plays of 20 or more yards, the most in the NFL. The big point spread looks to be a little too high here with a pretty good team in the Colts visiting. Take the points with Indianapolis. AAA
12-22-13 | Minnesota Vikings v. Cincinnati Bengals -8 | Top | 14-42 | Win | 100 | 29 h 41 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the Cincinnati Bengals. The Minnesota Vikings come in at 4-9-1 SU and 8-6 ATS after a 48-30 win at home over Philadelphia. Matt Cassel threw for two touchdowns and 382 yards while Mike Asiata had three TD scores on 51 yards rushing for the Vikings. Cincinnati is coming off a 20-30 loss in prime time to Pittsburgh that gave the team a 9-5 SU and 8-5 ATS record. Andy Dalton completed 25 of 44 for 230 yards and two second-half touchdowns, but Cincinnati never recovered after getting staggered early at frigid Heinz Field. The Bengals did not look good at Pittsburgh but I expect they come back with a big effort at home here versus the Vikings. Cincinnati is a perfect 6-0 SU and ATS at home this season while the Vikings have yet to win a game on the road this year. Also note that the Bengals are a perfect 2-0 ATS after a loss to a divisional rival this season. The Vikings have not won two games in a row all season and should start to be looking to shut this season down pretty soon with a the off season in mind. The Bengals could still finish with one of the top seeds in the AFC if they win out. Look for this team to take care of business at home in a big way. Lay the points here. AAA

This is a 10* "SITUATIONAL STUNNER" on the Denver Nuggets. The Phoenix Suns (14-10) come off a 101-108 loss at home to the San Antonio Spurs. Channing Frye had 22 points while Goran Dragic had 18 points and Eric Bledsoe 15, but the two Phoenix guards were a combined 12 of 33 from the field. Miles Plumlee added 13 points and 13 rebounds. The Denver Nuggets (14-10) come off a 93-105 loss at home to the Oklahoma City Thunder. J.J. Hickson had 20 points and 14 rebounds, but the Nuggets dropped to 0-2 this season against Oklahoma City. Ty Lawson added 17 points and 13 assists. The Suns have been getting a lot of press lately as the young up and coming team in the NBA but I think we can
12-20-13 | Southern Methodist +1 v. Wyoming | Top | 62-54 | Win | 100 | 27 h 46 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOWOUT" on SMU. SMU (9-2) come off a 82-56 win over TX-PAN America. Markus Kennedy came off the bench to score a team-high 17 points. The Mustangs outscored the visitors 40-20 on points in the paint, outrebounding UTPA 45-35 after being outrebounded 21-14 during the first half. SMU was nearly as efficient from behind the 3-point arc (7 of 15) as it was at the free-throw line (15 of 32). Wyoming (7-3) comes off a 61-64 loss at Denver. Larry Nance Jr. Scored 28 points while Nathan Sobey added nine points. Wyoming has been winning the games it is supposed so far this season minus the game versus Denver but face a tall task here in SMU. The Cowboys get scoring consistently from one guy and I think that won
12-20-13 | Charlotte Bobcats v. Detroit Pistons -5.5 | Top | 116-106 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 33 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE AGAINST THE SPREAD" on the Detroit Pistons. The Charlotte Bobcats (12-14) come off an exciting 104-102 OT come from behind win at Toronto. Kemba Walker had 29 points and five assists while Al Jefferson chipped in 24 points and 11 rebound in the win. The Detroit Pistons (13-14) come off a 107-106 win at the Boston Celtics. Brandon Jennings had 28 points and 14 assists to lead the way. Andre Drummond scored 14 points with 16 rebounds and Josh Smith added 20 points for the Pistons, who won for the seventh time in 11 games. It was the Pistons' sixth road win in their past seven. The Bobcats are coming off a big win but this looks like a letdown game as the team travels to Detroit. The Pistons are playing some good ball, having won three straight (covered the spread too) and last blasted the Bobcats 113-93 at home and I wouldn

This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on the Toronto Raptors. The Charlotte Bobcats (11-14) come off a 95-87 win at home over the Sacramento Kings. Kemba Walker has 24 points to lead the way. Gerald Henderson added 20 points and reserve Ramon Sessions scored 16 for the Bobcats, who went 8 for 17 from 3-point range. Walker also had five assists in his 10th game with at least 20 points. The Toronto Raptors (9-13) come off a 99-77 win at the Chicago Bulls. Kyle Lowry scored 16 points, Jonas Valanciunas added 15 points and 11 rebounds while DeMar DeRozan scored 15 and Amir Johnson added 14 points and eight rebounds to help the Raptors earn their second win in as many nights after dropping six of seven. The Raptors have three of four games since the departure of Rudy Gay and look to be a more cohesive team without Gay. This game also sets up as a revenge game after the Bobcats beat them on November 6 down in Charlotte. The Bobcats also come into this game playing its second in as many nights and should have some tired legs versus a Raptors team that has a had a few nights off now. The Raptors are 7-5 ATS trying to revenge a game and is 6-2 ATS versus teams with a losing record. The Raptors are 3-1 SU at Charlotte the last three seasons. Lay the points with Toronto. This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on the Cincinnati Bengals. The Cincinnati Bengals come into this huge Sunday night game with 9-4 SU and 8-4-1 ATS after a 42-28 win at home over the Indianapolis Colts. Andy Dalton had three TD passes and was 24-of-35 for 275 yards without a sack or interception. The Steelers come into this must win game with 5-8 SU and 6-7 ATS record after a devastating 34-28 loss at home to the Miami Dolphins. Ben Roethlisberger completed 23-of-39 passes for three TDs in the loss. Antonio Brown had 137 yards receiving and one TD in the loss. The Bengals are quietly arguably the best all-round team in the NFL right now and I expect it to be on showcase here. Cincy has quietly won the last two meetings in this series, the last one a convincing 20-10 game. The Bengals are 5-3 ATS as a favorite this season and 4-2 ATS as a favorite between +3-3 points. The Steelers are just 0-3 SU and ATS when revenging a loss to an opponent. Consider laying the short points with Cincinnati, the better team here. AAA
12-15-13 | Minnesota Timberwolves v. Memphis Grizzlies +2 | Top | 101-93 | Loss | -100 | 26 h 54 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE AGAINST THE SPREAD" on the Memphis Grizzlies. The Minnesota Timberwolves (11-12) is coming off a 100-107 loss at the San Antonio Spurs. Kevin Love was on fire all night scoring 42 points but it wasn
12-15-13 | New Orleans Saints -5.5 v. St. Louis Rams | Top | 16-27 | Loss | -110 | 119 h 6 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the New Orleans Saints. The New Orleans Saints moved to 10-3 SU and 7-6 ATS after a 31-13 impressive beat down of Carolina on Monday Night football at home. Drew Brees passed for 313 yards and four touchdowns while New Orleans sacked Cam Newton five times and did not allow a touchdown until 5:15 remained. Junior Galette had three of New Orleans' sacks and Cameron Jordan two. The St. Louis Rams moved to 5-8 SU and ATS after getting beat down 10-31 on the road in Arizona. Tavon Austin's 56-yard run set up the only touchdown for the Rams, a 1-yard run by Zac Stacy. The Saints got some frustrations from an embarrassing loss at Seattle a week before with the big win and I think the group carries that play into this game against a Rams teams that is quickly fading. The Saints can clinch a playoff spot here and I expect that be the candy at reach for Brees and company. New Orleans were destroyed on the road last and crucified for it in media, I think this redemption game for the Saints. The Saints are 5-3 ATS as a favorite of 3.5-9.5 points this season while the Rams are just 2.4 as an underdog of those numbers. Lay the points with the Saints. AAA
12-15-13 | New England Patriots -2 v. Miami Dolphins | Top | 20-24 | Loss | -106 | 116 h 42 m | Show |
This is a 10* AFC "GAME OF THE YEAR" on the New England Patriots. The visiting New England Patriots sit at 10-3 SU and 6-7 ATS after a come from behind 27-26 win over the Cleveland Browns. The Patriots were shut out at halftime but thanks to two late touchdowns with help from an onside kick the team prevailed in stunning fashion. The Miami Dolphins sit at 7-6 SU and 8-5 ATS after a narrowly edging out the Steelers 34-28 on road. Daniel Thomas ran for 105 yards and a score while Charles Clay had seven receptions for 97 yards and two touchdowns. Many
12-12-13 | Minnesota Wild v. San Jose Sharks -1.5 | Top | 1-3 | Win | 156 | 31 h 19 m | Show |
This is a 10* "PUCK-LINE DESTRUCTION" on the San Jose Sharks. The Minnesota Wild (18-10-5) comes off a 1-2 loss at the Anaheim Ducks. Jason Pominville had the lone goal while Josh Harding made 29 saves to keep his team in it. The San Jose Sharks (19-6-6) come off a 2-3 SO loss at home to the New York Islanders. Patrick Marleau had a goal and an assist while Joe Pavelski scored the other goal. The Sharks lost in the shoot out despite outshooting the Islanders 48-28 on the night. The Sharks have lost four in row but I expect this is a very nice spot for the team to a nice win. The Wild played last night against a physical team in Anaheim and now have to go into a very tough building to play in the Shark Tank. The Sharks are too good of team to keep losing and are outshooting opponents almost double the last few nights. This game also come as a revenge situation with the Wild hosting and beating the Sharks in Minnesota. Note the Sharks are 4-2 in games revenging a loss to an opponent. 12-12-13 | San Diego Chargers v. Denver Broncos -10 | Top | 27-20 | Loss | -110 | 55 h 2 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SAMURAI" on the Denver Broncos. The San Diego Chargers come in at 6-7 SU and 7-5 ATS after a 37-14 win over the New York Giants at home. Philip Rivers went 21 for 28 for 249 yards and three TD passes. Rookie Keenan Allen had two TD passes on 59 yards receiving. The Denver Broncos fell behind early but were still able to come back and blowout the Tennessee Titans 51-27 on Sunday to move to 11-2 SU and 8-4 ATS. The Broncos ran a whopping 91 plays on offense, giving them plenty of chances to eat away at a 21-10 second-quarter deficit. Peyton Manning threw for a whopping 397 yards and four TD passes. The Broncos are a prolific 7-0 and 5-1-1 ATS at home this season. As a home favorite of 7.5-10 points the Broncos are a perfect 2-0. The Chargers are 3-4 on the road and 3-3-1 ATS . Also note that the Chargers are a perfect 3-0 ATS on Thursdays the last three seasons. The Broncos won a 28-20 game in San Diego earlier this year in a game that could have even been more of a blowout. As it always is when facing the Broncos this season, can the Chargers stop Peyton Manning
12-11-13 | Dallas Mavericks v. Golden State Warriors -6 | Top | 93-95 | Loss | -110 | 30 h 4 m | Show |
This is a 10* "WEST-COAST EXPRESS" on the Golden State Warriors. The Dallas Mavericks (13-9) come off a 97-112 loss at Sacramento. Dirk Nowitzki had 18 points and seven assists and Monta Ellis chipped in with 21. The Golden State Warriors (12-10) look to bounce back off a 111-115 loss at Charlotte. The Warriors lost despite 43 points and nine assists from Stephen Curry. David Lee had 14 points and a season-high 16 rebounds for the Warriors. The Warriors are excellent 6-2 on home court this season while the Mavericks are just 4-7 on the road. This game also sets up as double revenge for the Warriors, having lost the last two meetings, both games held in Dallas. Golden State has won the last two meetings in Oakland and three of the last four in California. Golden State is 5-2 ATS after a game where it has allowed 105 points or more. The Mavericks are 0-2 ATS after allowing 105 points or more in the previous game. This is the final game of a four game road trip and I think the Mavericks are more looking forward to going home than to come out of this game with a win. Consider laying the points here with the home team. AAA
12-11-13 | Detroit Pistons v. New Orleans Pelicans -3.5 | Top | 106-111 | Win | 100 | 10 h 45 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE AGAINST THE SPREAD" on the New Orleans Pelicans. The Detroit Pistons (10-12) is coming off a 121-94 blowout loss at Minnesota. Brandon Jennings had 20 points for Detroit, but Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond were held to a combined total of 18 points and 10 rebounds. The New Orleans Pelicans (9-10) come off a 109-95 loss at home the Oklahoma City Thunder. Ryan Anderson scored 18 for the Pelicans, who lost their second straight at home while playing their third full game without power forward Anthony Davis, sidelined by a broken left hand. The Pistons played just last night on the road and will be going into New Orleans to face a team that will be playing its third straight home game which is needless to say, advantage Pelicans. New Orleans is 2-0 SU and ATS versus the Pistons in the last two meetings. New Orleans is a cool 5-3 ATS versus eastern opponents this season while the Pistons have struggled, losing six of seven and failing to cover the spread in five of those games. Consider laying the points here with New Orleans. AAA
12-10-13 | NY Islanders v. San Jose Sharks -1.5 | Top | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 28 h 28 m | Show |
This is a 10* "PUCK-LINE DESTRUCTION" on the San Jose Sharks. The New York Islanders (8-18-5) continued to struggle, losing last night 2-5 at the Anaheim Ducks. Jon Tavares and Thomas Vanek each had two points while Anders Nilsson stopped 26 shots in the losing effort. The San Jose Sharks (19-6-5) come off a 1-3 loss at the Minnesota Wild. Patrick Marleau scored the lone goal for the Sharks who outshot the Wild 38-12 despite the loss. The Sharks have struggled of late, losing three in a row but a matchup with the Islanders at home should be the right cure. San Jose is 10-1-2 on home ice this season while the Islanders are an awful 3-12 on the road. New York has lost two in three in a row by two goals or more and nine overall. Note that the Sharks are 14-6 ATS versus the Islanders since 1996. Look for the Sharks to bounce back and romp the lowly Islanders here and take them to cover on the
12-10-13 | Kansas +2.5 v. Florida | Top | 61-67 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 55 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ASSASSIN" on Kansas. The Kansas Jayhawks (6-2) look to bounce back off a heartbreaking 75-72 loss at Colorado. Colorado hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to get the win. Andrew Wiggins had 22 points, Frank Mason had 11 and Ellis 10 as Kansas lost despite hitting 52.9 percent from the floor. Florida (6-2) is coming off a 65-64 loss at Connecticut. Casey Prather had 19 points while Patrick Young added 17 points in the loss. Bill Self
12-09-13 | Dallas Mavericks v. Sacramento Kings +3 | Top | 97-112 | Win | 100 | 30 h 32 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE AGAINST THE SPREAD" on the Sacramento Kings. The Dallas Mavericks (13-8) are coming off a 108-106 last second win over the Portland Trailblazers on the road. Dirk Nowizki had 28 points while Monta Ellis scored 22 points, including the game winning shot to shock Portland. The Sacramento Kings (5-13) come off a 112-102 win. DeMarcus Cousins scored 28 points while Isaisah Thomah had 26 points off the bench. While the Mavericks are the better team here I expect a bit of letdown after a tough road game in Portland versus the west
12-08-13 | Carolina Panthers v. New Orleans Saints -4.5 | Top | 13-31 | Win | 100 | 149 h 60 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on the New Orleans Saints. The Carolina Panthers stayed the hottest team in the NFL after a 27-6 win at home to move to 9-3 SU and 8-4 ATS. Cam Newton for 263 yards and two touchdowns and leaped over the pile for another score. Greg Olsen had 85 yards receiving as the defense did the rest in this game. The New Orleans Saints got embarrassed on Monday night fall, losing to the Seattle Seahawks on the road 7-34 to move to 9-3 SU and 6-6 ATS. New Orleans didn't crack 100 yards of total offense until midway through the third quarter. Jimmy Graham was nearly invisible outside of his franchise-record 12th TD catch of the season in the second quarter. While the Saints are certainly a different team on the road I expect them to come back with a major bounce back at home where the team has been literally unbeatable this season. New Orleans is 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS in the Big Easy this season. The Saints haven't lost consecutive games in a single regular season under coach Sean Payton since 2009. As good as the Panthers defense has been lately, they are in for the biggest challenge here with a pissed of Drew Brees and Sean Peyton. Brees has cracked 300 yards in each of the six home games this season, with 19 touchdowns and three interceptions. His 122.2 home passer rating is second in the league to that of Aaron Rodgers. New Orleans is averaging 33.2 points at home, trailing only Denver and Dallas. Consider laying the points here as the Saints are going win, and cover the spread in the process. AAA
12-08-13 | St. Louis Rams v. Arizona Cardinals -6 | Top | 10-30 | Win | 100 | 145 h 56 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the Arizona Cardinals. The St. Louis Rams were manhandled by the San Francisco 49ers 23-13 to fall to 5-7 both SU and ATS last Sunday. Kellen Clemens went 19 of 37 for 218 yards with a late TD pass on the afternoon. The Rams managed 11 total yards in the first quarter and 73 in the first half. The 49ers held the Rams in check before the second-team defense surrendered the late TD. The Arizona Cardinals look to bounce back off a 21-24 loss at the Philadelphia Eagles that moved them to 7-5 SU and 8-4 ATS. Carson Palmer threw for 302 yards and three TD passes, but also had two interceptions and lost a fumble as the Cardinals had their four-game winning streak snapped. The Cardinals are 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS in home games this season while the Rams are an ugly 2-3 ATS on the road. Arizona comes looking to get its monkey off the back after falling to the Rams for a third straight time. Arizona is 4-1 ATS versus teams with a losing record and 3-1 ATS as the favorite. The Rams are an ugly 3-6 ATS. The Rams offense led by Kellen Clemens just does not have the guns score enough points here versus a Cardinals defense at home that is very good and improving. Consider laying the points. AAA
12-08-13 | NY Giants v. San Diego Chargers -3 | Top | 14-37 | Win | 100 | 145 h 56 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the San Diego Chargers. The New York Giants sit at 5-7 SU and ATS after a 24-17 win at Washington on prime time. Eli Manning threw for 235 yards, one TD and one INT while Victor Cruz had 80 yards receiving and Andre Brown had two rushing TDs. The San Diego was unable to back up an upset win at Kansas City, losing at home 10-17 to the Cincinnati Bengals to move to 5-7 SU and 6-5 ATS. Philip Rivers Rivers completed 23 of 37 passes for 252 yards, one TD and one INT while Keenan Allen had 106 yards receiving in the loss. While the Chargers suffered a bit a of letdown after a big win on the road I expect the same will happen here the Giants after a prime time win. The Chargers will be looking to get back on track with a second straight home game. The Chargers are 3-2 ATS at home this season while the Giants are just 2-4 SU on the road. Consider laying the short points here with San Diego. AAA
12-08-13 | Cleveland Browns v. New England Patriots -13 | Top | 26-27 | Loss | -110 | 142 h 32 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the New England Patriots. The Cleveland Browns sit at 4-8 SU and 5-7 ATS after a 28-32 loss at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Josh Gordon was all-world for a second straight game, catching 10 passes for 261 yards and two TDs. Brandon Wheedon threw for 370 yards in the loss. The New England Patriots sit at 9-3 SU and 6-6 ATS after a narrow 34-31 win over the Houston Texans. Tom Brady threw for 371 yards and two scores, and Stephen Gostkowski made two long field goals in the fourth quarter last Sunday. Rob Gronkowski had six receptions for 127 yards and Julian Edelman added 101 yards receiving on nine catches. For the second straight game the Patriots were down by at least two scores at the half of a game. I expect we see the complete performance here as the Patriots return to Foxboro. Note that the Patriots are an excellent 5-1 ATS at home this year. The Browns meanwhile have lost three in a row and failed to cover the spread in any of those games. Consider laying the points here as the Patriots are bound for a full performance here. AAA |
