12-08-13 | Virginia Tech v. Miami (Fla) -6 | Top | 61-60 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 23 m | Show |
This is a 10* "DESTRUCTION" on Miami Florida. The Colorado Avalanche (20-7-0) is coming off a 3-2 win over the Calgary Flames. Rookie Nathan MacKinnon added a goal and Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 26 saves as Colorado bounced back after allowing a season high for goals in a tough 8-2 loss at Edmonton. The Avs have won six of eight overall. The Vancouver Canucks (16-10-5) prevailed 3-2 in OT over the Coyotes despite allowed two quick goals in the third period to allow Phoenix back in the game. Chris Higgins, Henrik Sedin and Jason Garrison scored the goals for the Canucks and Roberto Luongo made 37 saves. The Canucks are starting to play some better hockey here having won four of their last five. Vancouver is playing the second game of a five game home stand. 12-07-13 | Oklahoma v. Oklahoma State -10.5 | Top | 33-24 | Loss | -106 | 117 h 2 m | Show |
This is a 10* "DESTRUCTION" on Oklahoma State. After a bye week the 17th ranked Oklahoma Sooners comes in the final week of the season at 9-2 SU and 6-4 ATS after a 42-31 win over Kansas State on the road. Trevor Knight threw for 196 yards, one TD and one INT while Brennan Clay rushed for 200 yards and two TDs in the win. The 6th ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys sit at 10-1 SU and 8-3 ATS after a bye week as well. Before the open date the Cowboys took down the powerful Baylor Bears 49-17 at home. Clint Chelf passed for a career-high 370 yards and accounted for four touchdowns and Tracy Moore finished with five catches for 126 for Oklahoma State. This is a big rivalry game for sure and both teams should get up for it. Although the Bedlam rivalry always brings out the best in the Sooners, they will be hard-pressed to tackle an Oklahoma State squad that has been nearly flawless since making the switch to Chelf under center. With a BCS bowl bid in their sights, expect the Cowboys to be focused on the task at hand. Oklahoma State is a 6-1 ATS at home this season and a perfect 6-0 ATS after a win over conference rival. The Sooners are just 3-5 ATS versus conference opponents. Lay the points. AAA
12-06-13 | Cleveland Cavaliers +6.5 v. Atlanta Hawks | Top | 89-108 | Loss | -105 | 28 h 17 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cleveland Cavaliers (6-12) come off a 98-88 win at home over the Denver Nuggets. Kyrie Irving had 23 points while Tristan Thompson had 17 points and 21 rebounds to lead the way for Cleveland. The Cavs held to Nuggets to under 40 percent shooting. The Atlanta Hawks (10-10) come off a 107-99 upset win over the LA Clippers. Paul Millsap had 25 points and nine rebounds to lead the team. Kyle Korver added 23 points and Al Horford had 21 in the win. Of f the big win over the Clippers I expect there to a bit of letdown for the Hawks here. Note that Atlanta is just 1-3 ATS off an upset win as an underdog. The Cavaliers come in with some confidence, having won two in row over good teams in Denver and Chicago. Also note that Cleveland is 3-1 ATS in games at Atlanta the past three seasons. Consider grabbing the points here. AAA
12-05-13 | NY Islanders v. St. Louis Blues -1.5 | Top | 1-5 | Win | 125 | 29 h 21 m | Show |
This is a 10* "PUCK-LINE DESTRUCTION" on the St. Louis Blues. The New York Islanders (8-12-5) look to bounce back off a 2-3 OT loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Kyle Okoposo scored two goals and John Tavares added two apples on those goals. Anders Nilsson made 31 saves in a losing effort. The St. Louis Blues (18-5-3) is coming off a 2-3 loss at the LA Kings. Kevin Shattenkirk and Vladamir Tarasenko had goals in the loss while Jaroslav Halak made 20 saves on 23 shots. The Blues have lost consecutive games for the first time all season and I expect a major bounce back at home here. The Islanders are just 2-8-3 on the road this season while the Blues are a sparkling 11-1-2 in friendly confines. The Blues are very nice 8-2 in non conference games while the Islanders are just 3-5 in the same spot. They've won three of four over the Islanders, including 5-1 in St. Louis in the last meeting Feb. 16, 2012. Take the Blues on the

This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Louisville. Off a bye week Louisville is 10-1 SU and 4-7 ATS after a 24-17 win over Memphis. Teddy Bridgewater threw for 220 yards and a touchdown. Dominque Brown and Senorise Perry combined for 107 yards and a TD rushing. Louisville outgained Memphis 342-279 but still stumbled to the finish line in what wasn
12-03-13 | Phoenix Suns v. Memphis Grizzlies -3 | Top | 91-110 | Win | 100 | 10 h 44 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER-ASSASSIN" on the Memphis Grizzlies. The Phoenix Suns (9-8) come off a 104-112 loss at home to the Utah Jazz. Goran Dragic had 24 points and nine assists while Channing Frye contributed 19 points and six rebounds in the loss. The Memphis Grizzlies (8-8) is also coming off a loss, dropping a 88-97 game to the Brooklyn Nets at home. Quincy Pondexter was the high man with 22 points off the bench while Mike Conley was the top scoring starter with 16 points and 10 assists. The Grizzlies are playing its second straight game at home and are hungry to atone for an ugly loss a few nights ago versus the shorthanded Nets. This matchup also goes as a revenge situation for the Grizzlies as the Suns came in to Memphis and beat them 96-90 the last time around. Memphis is still 4-0 ATS versus Pacific Division opponents this season. Keep an eye out for Zach Randolph. Randolph is averaging 22.7 points and 12.5 rebounds while shooting 57.6 percent from the field over his last 16 games versus Phoenix. Take Memphis. AAA
12-03-13 | Denver Nuggets v. Brooklyn Nets +4.5 | Top | 111-87 | Loss | -105 | 27 h 25 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE AGAINST THE SPREAD" on the Brooklyn Nets. The Denver Nuggets (10-6) come off a 112-98 win over the Toronto Raptors on the road. Nate Robinson had 23 points off the bench as the Nuggets had 4 players off the bench score double figures. The Nuggets shot over 50% percent from the field on the win. The Brooklyn Nets (5-12) come off an impressive 91-88 at win at the Memphis Grizzlies. Joe Johnson had 26 points while Brook Lopez dropped 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds. The Nets have not looked great early this season but the return of Brook Lopez gives this team a fighting chance in just about every game. Denver is just 2-4 ATS as the favorite this season and 1-3 ATS off an upset win. Brooklyn won on the last meeting between these two teams held in Brooklyn 119-108. Grab the points with the home underdog here as the Denver is just .500 on the road so far this season. AAA
12-02-13 | New Orleans Saints +6 v. Seattle Seahawks | Top | 7-34 | Loss | -105 | 173 h 20 m | Show |
This is a 10* "MASSACRE" on the New Orleans Saints. The New Orleans Saints sit at 9-2 SU and 6-5 ATS after a 17-13 win over the Atlanta Falcons on two Thursdays ago. Drew Brees completed 22 of 33 passes for 278 yards and two TDs. Jimmy Graham had 100 yards receiving including a TD catch while Pierre Thomas had a 130 total yards in the winning effort. The Seattle Seahawks come off a bye with a 10-1 SU and 7-4 ATS. The Seahawks last saw action in a 41-20 home win over the Minnesota Vikings. Russell Wilson was an effective passer, completing 13 of 18 for 230 yards and two TDs. Marshawn Lynch had two rushing TDs to help pace the Seahawks. This is the biggest game of the year so far for both teams and I expect it to be a close one. The Saints might not be talking about it but the last time they visited Century Link field it was the Seahawks as the big underdog, taking the win with a Marshawn Lynch TD score at the end. I expect revenge to also be a huge part of a game that means a lot for both teams in the NFC. The Seahawks have had some controversy in the off week as key members to the secondary in Walter Thurmond and Brandon Browner will not be available for this game due to substance abuse and PED problems. Still, this is going to be a tough game for both teams and is likely going to be very close at the end. I am grabbing all the points I can get. AAA
12-01-13 | NY Giants v. Washington Redskins -1.5 | Top | 24-17 | Loss | -110 | 150 h 35 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on the Washington Redskins. The Washington Redskins sit at 3-8 SU and ATS after a 6-26 loss to San Francisco at home on Monday Night football. RG3 did not have a good game, completing 17 of 27 passes for only 127 yards and got sacked four times. Alfred Morris managed just 53 yards rushing in the loss. The New York Giants sit at 4-7 SU and ATS after a 21-24 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Andre Brown rushed for 124 yards while Eli Manning had 174 yards and passed for two TDs in the game. This is the second prime time game in a row for the Redskins here and I expect them to come up with a better effort this time around versus a team that is not quite so good. The Giants are just 1-4 on the road this season. Washington is 2-0 ATS and SU versus the Giants at home over the past few seasons and I expect this to be one of the few last stands for the Redskins this season. New York defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul and cornerback Trumaine McBride have been ruled out, and backup running back Brandon Jacobs and cornerback Corey Webster also will miss the game. With the injuries piling up I like Washington at home even more. AAA
12-01-13 | Golden State Warriors v. Sacramento Kings +3.5 | Top | 115-113 | Win | 100 | 25 h 19 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER-BLOWOUT" on the Sacramento Kings. The Golden State Warriors (9-8) look to bounce back after a narrow 112-113 defeat in OT at the Oklahoma City Thunder. Stephen Curry had 32 points and 11 rebounds while Harrison Barnes added 26 in the loss. The Sacramento Kings (4-10) come off a 104-98 OT loss to the LA Clippers at home. DeMarcus Cousins had 25 points while Ben McLemore added 14. Both these teams were losers on the road but I think we learnt that the Kings are no joke at home, even against the top teams in the west like the Clippers. I expect a very close game here at least for the Kings. Sacramento is 3-1 ATS versus the Warriors in games they have hosted the past few seasons. The Warriors are just 4-6 SU on the road this season so asking them to cover spread is a little much here. It doesn
12-01-13 | St. Louis Rams v. San Francisco 49ers -9.5 | Top | 13-23 | Win | 100 | 145 h 1 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the San Francisco 49ers. The St. Louis Rams sit at 5-6 SU and ATS after a 42-21 home win over the Chicago Bears. Benny Cunningham had 113 yards rushing and one TD while the Bears got a defensive TD from Robert Quinn on a strip fumble return. The San Francisco 49ers got back on track with a 26-6 win at Washington to move to 7-4 SU and 8-3 ATS. Colin Kaepernick completed 15 of 24 passes for 235 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions for a career-best 134.5 passer rating. Anquan Boldin had 94 yards receiving and two TDs. Yes the Rams looked good last week at home now they head out on the road now to face a 49ers defense that is very tough at home. SF is 5-2 ATS versus conference opponents and 3-0 ATS when face teams with a losing record. The 49ers crushed the Rams earlier this season, 35-11 and I wouldn
12-01-13 | Tennessee Titans v. Indianapolis Colts -4 | Top | 14-22 | Win | 100 | 142 h 58 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the Indianapolis Colts. The Tennessee Titans sit at 5-6 SU and 6-3 ATS after a 23-19 win at Oakland. Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 30 of 42 passes for 320 yards and two TDs in the win. Kendall Wright had six receptions for 103 yards and a TD score. The Indianapolis Colts come off an embarrassing 11-40 loss at Arizona to move to 7-4 SU and 5-5 ATS on the season. Andrew Luck threw for just 163 yards and Coby Fleener had 55 yards receiving and the lone TD in the rout. The Colts have been pulling Jekyll and Hyde of late but have quite a few things in their favor headed in this matchup. The Colts will be mad but going against a divisional opponent they handled just a few weeks ago. Indy is 2-0 ATS versus Divisional opponents this season and also 2-0 SU and ATS when facing the Titans. The Colts handled the Titans in Tennessee despite falling down double digit points in the first half. I expect them to come out with a strong effort from the opening kick-off at home here. Lay the points. AAA
12-01-13 | New England Patriots -7 v. Houston Texans | Top | 34-31 | Loss | -120 | 142 h 56 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the New England Patriots. The New England Patriots sit at 8-3 SU and 6-5 ATS after a 34-31 win come from behind overtime win at home over the Denver Broncos in prime time. Tom Brady threw for 344 yards and three TDs in erasing a 24-0 deficit from the first half. Julian Edelman had 110 yards and two TDs in the win. The Houston Texans come off a 6-13 loss at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars to move to 2-9 SU and ATS on the season. Kase Keenum had the worst performance in his five starts, throwing for just 169 yards with an interception. Dennis Johnson had 74 yards rushing. The Patriots survived a scare at home to beat off the Broncos despite turning the ball over three times in the first three possessions. I expect we see a better start the Patriots here versus a depleted Texans team. Houston is just 1-5 SU and at home and an even worse 0-6 ATS. The Patriots have put up over 40 points in the last two meetings with the Texans and I wouldn
11-30-13 | Murray State +17 v. St Mary's CA | Top | 64-89 | Loss | -106 | 17 h 6 m | Show |
This is a 10* "RAGE AGAINST THE SPREAD" on Murray State. Murray State (2-4) looks to bounce back from 62-80 loss to Middle Tennessee. Dexter Fields scored 12 points for the Racers and Tyler Rambo and Cameron Payne had 11 each. Saint Mary
11-30-13 | UCLA +4 v. USC | Top | 35-14 | Win | 100 | 127 h 24 m | Show |
This is a 10* "UNDERDOG GAME OF THE YEAR" on UCLA. UCLA is 8-3 SU and 7-4 SU and after a 33-38 home loss to Arizona State last week. Brett Hundley passed for 253 yards and two touchdowns for UCLA. Myles Jack rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown while the freshman linebacker played almost exclusively on offense. USC is 9-3 SU and 6-6 ATS after a 47-29 win over Colorado. Javorius Allen ran for a career-best 145 yards and three touchdowns while Cody Kessler passed for184 yards and two TDs. Even without the motivation of a conference title, both of these teams will have plenty to play for on Saturday. USC's ability to create havoc in the backfield could disrupt the normally unflappable Hundley just as Barr could keep Kessler from hitting his stride. Expect a game that comes down to the final minutes with the Bruins making enough plays on offense to grab a win. USC is 0-2 ATS this season when the spread is +3-3 while the Bruins are 3-1 in the same situation. Grab the points with UCLA, a 10* Under Dog Game of the Year selection. AAA
11-30-13 | Baylor -12.5 v. TCU | Top | 41-38 | Loss | -110 | 123 h 38 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Baylor. Baylor is 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS after getting crushed 17-49 at Oklahoma State last Saturday. The Bears were held to a season-worst 453 yards including 94 on the ground while committing three turnovers. Baylor had won the nine previous games by an average of 43.7 points but never led against the Cowboys. TCU is 4-7 SU and 3-8 ATS after a bye week. The Horned Frogs lost 31-33 to Kansas State on the road prior to the open date. Casey Pachall completed 23-of-33 passes for 243 yards, one TD and one INT in the place of Trevone Boykin. B.J. Catalone had 12 carries for 71 yards and one TD in the loss. Baylor suffered to embarrassing and crushing defeat last week, having its national championship chances crushed. I expect the Bears to bounce back with a vengeance this week. "We still have a lot to play for. We've got to go out and win these next two games. There are still goals and ambitions that we set prior to the season that we can still accomplish, " Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty said. Last weekend the Bears struggled to find offense in a hostile environment against one of the league's best defensive units in Oklahoma State. This week they face a Horned Frogs team that don't have the offensive firepower to keep up with the Bears. Lay the points with Baylor. AAA
11-30-13 | Boston College v. Syracuse +3 | Top | 31-34 | Win | 100 | 123 h 37 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Syracuse. Boston College is 7-4 SU and ATS after a 29-26 win over Maryland last week. Andre Williams rushed for 263 yards to become the 16th player in NCAA history to top 2,000 in a single season. Williams had two TDs including the winning one. Race Rettig completed 6-14 passes for 120 yards, one TD and one INT. Syracuse continued to struggle, losing a 17-16 game to Pittsburgh to fall to 5-6 SU and 7-4 ATS. 11-30-13 | Minnesota v. Michigan State -14 | Top | 3-14 | Loss | -115 | 119 h 9 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Michigan State. Minnesota is 8-3 SU and ATS after 7-20 loss to Wisconsin last week at home. Philip Nelson finished just 7-for 23 for 83 yards. The Gophers only TD was an Aaron Hill 39 yard pick six return in the second quarter. Minnesota had just 185 total yards on the game. Michigan State won its seventh in a row with a 30-6 decision over Northwestern. Connor Cook threw for a career-high 293 yards, Jeremy Langford ran for 150 yards in the win. Michigan State is on fire with seven wins in row should be able to get a big win here at home. The Spartans are 9-0 SU and at home and 6-3 ATS. Minnesota is 7-7 ATS on the road the past three seasons. Michigan State won last years
11-29-13 | Brooklyn Nets +10 v. Houston Rockets | Top | 95-114 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 34 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER-BLOWOUT" on the Brooklyn Nets. The Brooklyn Nets (4-11) come off a 94-99 setback at home thanks to the Los Angeles Lakers. Joe Johnson had 18 points while Andray Blatche added 14 points and 18 rebounds in the loss. The Houston Rockets (11-5) come off an easy 113-84 win at home over the Atlanta Hawks. Aaron Brooks and Francisco Garcia each had 21 points off the bench. The Nets are obviously struggling with so many injuries but I feel this is a spot where they can at least earn an ATS cover. The Rockets have a big date looming with the San Antonio Spurs coming soon and I think they may be caught looking a little forward to that meeting and suffer a bit of a letdown in this game with the Nets. Keep an eye out for Nets forward Paul Pierce. Pierce averages 21.6 points in 12 career visits to Houston. Take the points with the Nets. AAA
11-29-13 | New Orleans Pelicans -3.5 v. Philadelphia 76ers | Top | 121-105 | Win | 100 | 9 h 34 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER-SHOCKER" on the New Orleans Pelicans. The New Orleans Pelicans (6-8) look to bounce back from a narrow 100-101 loss at home the Golden State Warriors. Ryan Anderson scored 21 points off the bench while Jrue Holiday added 17 points and 7 assists in the loss. The Pelicans shot 47 percent from the floor and still lost. The Philadelphia 76ers (6-10) come off a 94-105 loss at home to the Orlando Magic. Michael Carter-Williams had 23 points while Evan Turner added 17 points and 11 rebounds in the loss. The Pelicans have lost two in a row to two of the best teams in the west and will be looking to bounce back here against one of the east
11-29-13 | Washington State v. Washington -14.5 | Top | 17-27 | Loss | -110 | 100 h 1 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Washington. Washington State is 6-5 SU and 8-3 SU after a nice 49-37 win over Utah last weekend. Connor Halliday threw for 488 yards and four touchdowns while Dom Williams caught a pair of touchdown passes to go with 154 yards receiving for the Cougars. Washington is 1-4 SU and 6-5 ATS after a 69-27 win at Oregon State. Redshirt freshman Cyler Miles made his first college start and threw for 162 yards and a touchdown for Washington while Bishop Sankey ran for 179 yards and three touchdowns. Washington finished with 692 yards in total offense, compared to 414 for Oregon State. Hau'oli and the Huskies front line will be able to get pressure on Halliday and that could open up opportunities for the secondary to cash in on some errant throws. With the addition of Price to their offensive game plan, the Huskies' balance will prove too much for the one-sided Cougars. Lay the points with Washington AAA
11-29-13 | East Carolina v. Marshall -2.5 | Top | 28-59 | Win | 100 | 97 h 32 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Marshall. East Carolina is 9-2 SU and 6-4 ATS after a 42-28 win over North Carolina State last Saturday. Shane Carden threw three touchdown passes and ran for two scores to help the Pirates. Vintavious Cooper had 148 yards rushing while Justin Hardy added 83 yards and a TD receiving in the win. Marshall sits at 8-3 SU and 6-4 ATS after a 48-10 beat down Florida International. Rakeem Cato 241 yards passing and threw four TD passes in the win. Three of those TDs went to Gator Hoskins who also had 137 yards receiving. Both these teams come into this game on quite a nice roll having won six of seven. Note that East Carolina is just 2-3 ATS on the road this season while Marshall is a perfect 5-0 ATS and is undefeated in friendly confines. These are two of the top teams in Conference USA and I expect a close battle with Marshall coming out on top thanks to strong home field advantage. Take Marshall to win and cover the spread along the way. AAA
11-28-13 | Creighton -1.5 v. Arizona St | Top | 88-60 | Win | 100 | 30 h 32 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOWOUT" on Creighton. Creighton (4-0) is coming off a 82-72 win over Tulsa. Doug McDermott had 33 points and 15 rebounds to lead the way. Austin Chapman added 19 points and nine assists. Arizona State (6-0) comes off a 79-77 win over ninth ranked Marquette at home. Jahii Carson had 23 points and five assists, and Marshall had 23 points for Arizona State. Off a big win over Marquette I am betting the Sun Devils have a bit of a letdown here and it will be at a bad time as Creighton is also one of the better teams in the nation this year. This is a 10* "TURKEY DAY TOP PLAY" on Texas. Texas Tech sits at 7-4 SU and 5-6 ATS off a bye week. Prior to the open date the Red Raiders fell to Baylor 34-63 on the road. Texas Tech scored touchdowns on its first three drives, and had No. 5 Baylor facing its first double-digit deficit of the season at the time but still the Red Raiders could not hold on. This is a 10* "ASSASSIN" on the Detroit Lions. The Green Bay Packers sit at 5-5-1 SU looking to build on a 23-23 tie at home to the Minnesota Vikings. Matt Flynn sparked a comeback in the fourth quarter, throwing for 218 yards and a TD in the second half to help earn the tie. Eddie Lacy had 110 rushing yards to go with a TD to help the cause. The Detroit Lions sit at 6-5 after a brutal upset loss at home to the Tampa Bay Bucs. Matt Stafford threw for 297 yards and three TDs but also had 4 INTs in the loss. Calvin Johnson had 115 yards receiving in a losing effort. The Packers have yet to win a game without Aaron Rodgers and it is unlikely that he starts this game despite it being a must win for both teams. While Matt Flynn looks to be a better option than Tolzien, I don
11-27-13 | Indiana Pacers v. Charlotte Bobcats +6.5 | Top | 99-74 | Loss | -110 | 28 h 19 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SITUATIONAL DESTRUCTION" on the Charlotte Bobcats. The Indiana Pacers (13-1) continued its near perfect start to the season after an easy 98-84 win at home over the Minnesota Timberwolves. George Hill had 26 points and seven assists while Paul George chipped in 26 points as well to go with eight rebounds for the Pacers. The Charlotte Bobcats (7-8) look to bounce back off a 86-96 loss at home to the Boston Celtics. Kemba Walker had 28 points while Gerald Henderson in the loss where only three players for the Bobcats finished in double digit point totals. The Bobcats have surprised a few teams of late and I think the young squad will be in this game as well as they know the Pacers are the team in the East to beat at the moment. The Bobcats are 8-4 ATS as the underdog this season and 4-0 ATS versus Central division opponents. Charlotte is looking for double revenge after getting handled by the Pacers in the last two meetings. Grab the points with the home team here. AAA
11-26-13 | Illinois v. UNLV +4.5 | Top | 61-59 | Win | 100 | 29 h 14 m | Show |
This is a 10* "MOTIVATIONAL MISMATCH" on UNLV. Illinois (5-0) is coming off a 77-53 win at home over Indiana. Jon Ekey scored 19 points for the second consecutive game to lead Illinois. Joseph Bertrand, Tracy Abrams and Rayvonte Rice each added 12 points. Center Nnanna Egwu grabbed a game-high 9 rebounds. UNLV (2-2) is looking to bounce back off a 80-86 loss to Arizona State. UNLV had five players score in double figures, led by Roscoe Smith's 18 points and 21 rebounds. Yes Illinois has started the season off at a perfect 5-0 start for the second straight season but I feel like this is going to be tough spot for them. The Rebels are in no giving mood off a loss and have had an entire week off to prepare for this home game. This will be the first road game of the season for Illinois. Last season it was UNLV that won this matchup 64-48 in Illinois so I expect a close matchup where I am grabbing all the points I can get. Take the home side. AAA
11-26-13 | Western Michigan +35 v. Northern Illinois | Top | 14-33 | Win | 100 | 32 h 24 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ASSASSIN" on Western Michigan. Western Michigan is 1-10 SU and 3-8 ATS after a norrow 22-27 loss at home to Central Michigan. Dareyon Chance had 14 carries for 93 yards and one TD score. Zach Terrell completed just 14 of 35 passes for 147 yards zero TDs and one INT. Northern Illinois is 10-0 SU and 7-4 ATS after a 35-17 win at Toledo. Star QB Jordan Lynch finished with three touchdowns- all in the second half, and 161 yards. I played on the Huskies last week as the slight favorite versus Toledo and was successful. This time I feel the value has jumped opposite of the Huskies as this is a massive spread. Yes the Huskies have won two straight versus Western Michigan but not last years
11-25-13 | San Francisco 49ers -5 v. Washington Redskins | Top | 27-6 | Win | 100 | 124 h 28 m | Show |
This is a 10* "MASSACRE" on the San Francisco 49ers. The visiting San Francisco 49ers sit at 6-4 SU and 7-3 ATS after a 20-23 loss to the Saints in New Orleans last week. Colin Kaepernick passed for two scores, but finished with only 127 yards and was sacked three times as the Niners lost their second straight. Frank Gore rushed for just 48 yards in the loss. The Washington Redskins sit at 3-7 SU and ATS after a 13-24 loss at the Philadelphia Eagles. Robert Griffin III was 17 of 35 for 264 yards and ran for 44 yards. Alfred Morris had 93 yards rushing in the loss. Yes the 49ers have lost two in a row but I think they are a way better squad than the Redskins and should win this game decidedly, even on the road. If we take a look at the losses for the 49ers we should note that the team came within a flag from beating the Saints in New Orleans and just came up short to another very good squad in Carolina. Washington meanwhile is just 1-6 SU and ATS when labeled the underdog. Neither game has been great passing the ball of late but I expect SF to win the running game matchup with the far better defense. Note that 49ers have covered the spread in six of the last seven games and three of its
11-25-13 | Wyoming v. Ohio State -15.5 | Top | 50-65 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 55 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER-BLOWOUT" on Ohio State. Wyoming (4-1) is coming off a 70-53 win at home over South Dakota State. Riley Grabau was 4 of 5 from 3-point range and scored a career-high 20 points. Derek Cooke Jr. was 6 of 7 to notch his second career double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Fourth ranked Ohio State (4-0) is coming off a 63-52 win over American University .Amir Williams and Shannon Scott led the way for the Buckeyes. Williams scored a career-high 16 points, and Scott added 13 and nine rebounds. It was a massive blowout like many would believe it be and I think that is going to help Ohio State backers in this game with the team likely to make sure they win easily in this game. Note that Ohio State hasn
11-24-13 | Sacramento Kings +4 v. Los Angeles Lakers | Top | 86-100 | Loss | -110 | 29 h 14 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF THE GAME" on the Sacramento Kings. The Sacramento Kings (4-8) lost a nail biter the LA Clippers 102-103 . DeMarcus Cousins had 23 points and 19 rebounds to continue his absolute dominance this season. Marcus Thornton added 23 points while Patrick Paterson had 21 in the loss. The LA Lakers (6-7) come off a really good 102-95 win at home over the Golden State Warriors. Pau Gasol had 24 points and 10 rebounds while Nick Young added 21 points in the win. The Kings have surpassed 100 points in three consecutive games, and they're facing a Los Angeles team that has held three straight opponents under that mark despite ranking among the NBA's worst in points allowed at 103.2 per game. These divisional matchups always seem to be close. The Kings have won four of the last seven meetings and these high scoring games are the types of games that favour the underdog. Grab the points with Sacramento. AAA
11-24-13 | Denver Broncos v. New England Patriots +3 | Top | 31-34 | Win | 100 | 109 h 30 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on the New England Patriots. The Denver Broncos sit at 9-1 SU and 6-3 ATS after a 27-17 win at home over the Kansas City Chiefs. Peyton Manning threw for 323 yards and a touchdown on the night. Demaryious Thomas had six receptions for 121 yards. The New England Patriots sit a 7-3 SU and 5-5 ATS and look to bounce back after a 24-20 loss to the Carolina Panthers on the road. Tom Brady was 29 of 40 for 296 yards and one touchdown. Rob Gronkowski and Stevan Ridley had touchdowns in the loss. This game preview has been well documented as Peyton Manning versus Tom Brady. The value in this game certainly lies in the underdog Patriots at home. The Patriots have not been home underdogs since 2005, another game where it was Manning versus Brady. Note that Brady holds the 9-4 advantage in these games. More importantly to me is the fact that the Patriots have yet to lose at home this season. Note that during the second of the half the season, since 2008 the Patriots are 12-1 at Foxborough. All the talk is about how much better of a team the Broncos are but I feel Tom Brady and the hoodie are the reasons to back the Patriots at home. New England is 4-1 ATS at home this season 3-1 ATS as the underdog. The Broncos are 2-2 ATS on the road. Take New England to not only make this close, but come away with the win. AAA
11-24-13 | Phoenix Suns v. Orlando Magic -1 | Top | 104-96 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 11 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER-ASSASSIN" on the Orlando Magic. The Phoenix Suns (6-6) is coming off a 98-91 win over the Charlotte Bobcats on the road. Channing Frye had 22 points while P.J Tucker added 17 points in the win. The Suns shot 47 percent from the floor and has been a nice surprise at .500 to start this season. The Orlando Magic (4-8) lost a 99-101 game to the powerhouse Miami Heat last night. Aaron Afflalo had18 points and 7 rebounds in the loss. The Magic have to be happy to see anyone besides the Heat in this game and should be very competitive at home versus the Magic. Orlando is 2-0 SU and ATS versus the Suns the past few seasons and should have a lot of confidence in a winnable game for the Magic. In fact, The Suns have lost seven of the past eight meetings, including five in a row while getting held to 90.8 points per game. Keep an eye out for Arron Afflalo who is averaging 22.7 points on 59.3 percent from the floor over his last six matchups with the Suns. Take the Magic. AAA
11-24-13 | Indianapolis Colts +2.5 v. Arizona Cardinals | Top | 11-40 | Loss | -110 | 96 h 10 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the Indianapolis Colts. The Indianapolis Colts sit at 7-3 SU and 5-4 ATS after rallying to beat Tennessee 30-27. Andrew Luck finished 23-of-36 for 232 yards passing. Luck had a rushing TD in the win while Donald Brown had his best game of the season, rushing for 80 yards and two TDs. The Arizona Cardinals come into this week at a solid 6-4 SU and ATS. The Cardinals beat the Jaguars 27-14 at Jacksonville last Saturday. Carson Palmer had his best game of the season, going 30 of 42 for 419 yards and two touchdowns, and he did not throw an interception for the first time this year. Michael Floyd had 163 yards receiving to go with a TD score. The Colts are the underdog here despite having the superior record. While I respect the Cardinals home field advantage I don
11-24-13 | Carolina Panthers -4 v. Miami Dolphins | Top | 20-16 | Push | 0 | 93 h 7 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the Carolina Panthers. The visiting Carolina Panthers sit at 7-3 SU and ATS after a 24-20 Monday night win over the New England Patriots. Cam Newton had his best game of the season, completing 19 of 28 passes for 209 yards, three TDs. Newton also rushed for 69 yards in the win. Brandon LaFell had 59 yards receiving including the winning TD. The Miami Dolphins sit at 5-5 SU and ATS after a 20-16 win at home over the San Diego Chargers. Ryan Tannehill completed 22 of 35 passes for 268 yards, one TD and one INT. Is there a hotter team the Carolina Panthers right now? Carolina is coming off back to back wins over top team in New England and San Francisco and has won six games in a row both SU and ATS. The Panthers have won at home and on the road so going to Miami shouldn
11-24-13 | Chicago Bears +1 v. St. Louis Rams | Top | 21-42 | Loss | -100 | 93 h 7 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the Chicago Bears. The Chicago Bears sit at 6-4 SU and 3-7 ATS after a 23-20 home win over the Baltimore Ravens in OT. Josh McCown was once again solid, completing 19 of 31 passes for 216 yards one TD and no INTs. Alshon Jeffery had seven catches for 83 yards. Forte added 42 receiving and 83 rushing in the win. The St. Louis Rams come off a bye week at 4-6 SU and ATS. Prior to open date, the Rams beat up on Indianapolis 38-8 in Indy. Tavon Austin returned four punts for 145 yards and scored on touchdown passes of 57 and 81 yards, his only two catches of the day. The Rams looked pretty good in their last game but we should remember that the team lost three straight before that win. The Bears badly need this win to stay in the hunt for the NFC North and I expect them to eventually come away with the win. Last season the Bears won a convincing 23-6 game over the Rams. Also note that the Rams are just 1-5 ATS as the favorite the past three seasons. Take the Bears as the slight underdog to win this game. AAA
11-24-13 | NY Jets +4 v. Baltimore Ravens | Top | 3-19 | Loss | -109 | 93 h 6 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the New York Jets. The visiting Jets sit at 5-5 SU and 6-4 ATS after a 14-37 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Geno Smith was admittedly bad in this outing as he went 8 of 23 for 103 yards passing, zero TDs and three INTs. It was so bad that the Jets managed just 267 yards offense and a season-low 12 first downs. The Baltimore Ravens sit at 4-6 SU and 5-4 ATS after a 20-23 OT loss at home to the Chicago Bears. Joe Flacco wasn
11-23-13 | Charlotte Bobcats v. Milwaukee Bucks -2 | Top | 96-72 | Loss | -110 | 28 h 7 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ONE AND ONLY" on the Milwaukee Bucks The Charlotte Bobcats (6-7) come off a 91-98 loss at home to the Phoenix Suns. Kemba Walker had 16 points and Gerald Henderson added 17 in the loss. The Milwaukee Bucks (2-9) also look to bounce back after a 107-115 loss at the Philadelphia 76ers. Caron Butler had 38 points and eight rebounds and Ersan Ilyasova added 19 in a losing cause. The Bobcats have been a nice story to start the season but I think they will be in over their heads on the road on the back-end of a back-to-back situation. The Bucks have not beaten many opponents this season but will look at this game as a winnable game. The Bucks are 15-1 all-time at home against Charlotte, winning 10 in a row while scoring 103.1 points per game. Keep an eye out for Ilyasova who had his way at home versus the Bobcats at home last season. The forward totaled 43 points and 20 rebounds while hitting 6 of 7 from 3-point range in those matchups. Consider laying the points in this matchup with the home team only have to win by a few points. AAA
11-23-13 | Missouri -3 v. Ole Miss | Top | 24-10 | Win | 100 | 150 h 49 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Missouri. The Missouri Tigers sit at 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS and are well rested after a bye week. The Tigers took care of Kentucky 48-17 prior to the bye. Maty Mauk completed 17 of 28 attempts for 203 yards and that included a massive five TD passes. Henry Josey had 113 yards rushing to go with a couple TD scores. Mississippi is 7-2 SU and 6-4 ATS after a 51-21 win over Troy last weekend. Bo Wallace was 17 for 26 for 272 yards and rushed for 66 yards on nine carries for a total of four TDS. Mississippi set a school record for total offense with 751 yards. This is looks to be good matchup on the Saturday Game Day as both teams are playing well and are in the Top 25 currently. Ole Miss has the home field advantage but they are going to be in tough with a Missouri offense that averages of 41.3 points and 492.6 yards per game and is getting their starting QB back in James Franklin. Defensively, Ole Miss has played much better than expected, as it holds foes to just 25.0 points per game but won

11-23-13 | Idaho v. Florida State -56 | Top | 14-80 | Win | 100 | 146 h 38 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Florida State. Idaho is 1-9 SU and 3-7 ATS after a 38-59 loss at home to Old Dominion. Taylor Davis finished the game 15-for-29 for 305 yards, two TDs and two INTs. Dezmon Epps had 175 yards receiving and a TD for the Vandals in a losing effort. Florida State continued its tear of FBS with a 56-3 win over Syracuse to move to 10-0 SU and 8-2 ATS. Jameis Wintson completed 19-of-21 passes for 277 yards and two touchdowns. The Seminoles scored 28 points before the Orange recorded 28 yards of total offense -- and Winston was the star in the rout. If Idaho was unable to shut down Old Dominion, there is little chance of stopping Florida State, which is one of the nation's top offensive squads. The Seminoles rank second nationally in scoring (52.7 ppg) and eighth in total offense (521.2 ypg). The spread looks large but Florida State hasn
11-23-13 | Hawaii v. Wyoming -6.5 | Top | 56-59 | Loss | -110 | 144 h 9 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Wyoming. Hawaii is 0-10 and 5-5 ATS after a 21-28 OT loss at San Diego State. John Schroeder finished 18-for-36 for 194 yards, two TDs and one INT. Joey Iosefa rushed 37 times for 150 yards and one TD. The Rainbow Warriors actually held the lead late in this game before OT. Wyoming is 4-6 SU and 5-5 ATS after getting killed 7-48 at Boise State. The Broncos put the game away early and scored 48 unanswered points after the Cowboys took an early 7-0 lead on their second possession of the game. This is a 10* "PUCK-LINE DESTRUCTION" on the Boston Bruins. The Carolina Hurricanes (8-10-4) come off a 3-4 loss at the Detroit Red Wings. Andrej Sekera scored two goals for the Canes while Brett Bellemore had the other in a losing cause. Justin Peters made 43 saves on 47 shots for Carolina but it wasn
11-23-13 | Cincinnati +4.5 v. Houston | Top | 24-17 | Win | 100 | 142 h 12 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Cincinnati. Cincinnati comes into this game at 8-2 SU and 5-5 ATS after a 52-17 win at Rutgers. Brendon Kay threw for a career-best 405 yards and four touchdowns, Mekale McKay caught three TDs in the win. Shaq Washington had 123 yards receiving and a TD on six receptions as well. Houston is 7-3 SU and 9-1 ATS after a 13-20 loss at Louisville. John Okorn completed 19-of 35 passes for 121 yards. While other teams like UCF and Louisville have gotten all the headlines in this conference, the Bearcats have gone quietly under the radar at 8-2 on the season. Brandon Kay owns the highest completion percentage on the season and should be effective in this game as it brings in an offense that averages 35 points a game. Houston has lost two in a row but granted they have been close games against tough opponents. A classic sense of offense versus defense but I like the way Kay is playing right now. Take Cincinnati as the underdog. AAA
11-23-13 | Oklahoma +3.5 v. Kansas State | Top | 41-31 | Win | 100 | 142 h 10 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Oklahoma. Oklahoma is 8-2 SU and 5-5 ATS after a 48-10 beat down of Iowa State. Trevor Knight replaced the injured Blake Bell and help lead the team a 38-0 run in the second half. Knight was 8-of-14 passing for 61 yards and rushed for 123 yards and one touchdown. Damien Williams added 10 carries for 128 yards and two touchdowns for the Sooners. Kansas State won its fourth in a row to move to 6-4 SU and ATS. The Wildcats won a thriller over TCU 33-31. Jack Cantele sent a 41-yard field goal attempt through the uprights with three seconds remaining to lift the team. Jake Waters finished 10-of-24 passing for 234 yards, two TDs and one INT. The Sooners bounced back nicely after a devastating loss to Baylor a week before and I expect them to continue good football this week. Kansas State looks to have found their groove with four straight wins. Both these teams lost to Baylor and Texas, but the Wildcats were competitive in their setbacks, while Oklahoma was routed. Still, the Sooners are looking from revenge after Kansas State won a 24-19 game last season as the underdog. Look for the Sooners not only to make it close, but have a good shot at the outright win. Take the points with Sooners. AAA
11-22-13 | Navy +3 v. San Jose State | Top | 58-52 | Win | 100 | 129 h 8 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SCORPION" on Navy. Visiting Navy is 6-4 SU and 7-3 ATS after a 43-14 beat down of S. Alabama last week. Kneenan Reynolds converted 10-of-17 passes for 168 yards and a score to Matt Aiken, adding another 59 yards on the ground on 17 carries for a rushing attack that generated 351 yards and scored four TDs. Reynolds combined to take part in three TDs. San Jose State sits at 5-5 SU and ATS after a 16-38 loss at Nevada last week. David Fales completed 28-of-43 passes, but had just one touchdown and was sacked three times, with those negative 25 rushing yards bringing down the team's overall rushing output to a mere 58 yards on 30 attempts. This looks to be a close matchup as both teams are evenly matched. Navy has a better record but has played a weaker schedule. Still, the Midshipmen are on roll and Navy has won two straight games and three of the last four. Navy is also looking to avenge a 0-12 loss last season. Grab the points here in a game Navy has good chance of pulling out. AAA

11-22-13 | Indiana Pacers v. Boston Celtics +7.5 | Top | 97-82 | Loss | -110 | 27 h 23 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER SHOCKER" on the Boston Celtics. The Indiana Pacers (10-1) come off a 103-96 come from behind OT win at the New York Knicks. Paul George started slow but ended up being the star of the game with 35 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals. George Hill added 23 points in the win. The Pacers shot just 37 % from the field. The Boston Celtics (4-9) come off a 93-103 loss at the San Antonio Spurs. Jared Sullinger led the team with 19 points and 17 rebounds. Avery Bradley and Jeff Green each had 19 points in the loss. I was a little unfortunate to not earn a ATS when I played against the Pacers on Wednesday as the game went into OT. I am not afraid to go against them here as I feel the value is in the home team that is getting a ton of points. The Celtics are 3-1 ATS after three consecutive losses and is 2-1 ATS versus the Pacers the last few seasons. The Pacers are 4-4 ATS when labeled a road favorite of 6.5-9 points the past few seasons. Grab the points with the home team. AAA
11-22-13 | Washington Wizards v. Toronto Raptors -5.5 | Top | 88-96 | Win | 100 | 27 h 53 m | Show |
This is a 10* "EAST-COAST ASSASSIN" on the Toronto Raptors. The Washington Wizards (4-7) come off a 98-91 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Nene Hilario had 24 points, 8 rebounds and six assists in the win. Bradley Beal added 26 points and 8 assists while John Wall had 15 points as well to pace the Wizards. The Wizards won despite being outscored 32-18 in the fourth quarter. The Toronto Raptors (5-7) come off a 108-98 win at home over the Philadelphia 76ers. DeMar Derozan led the team with 33 points while Rudy Gay had an all-round game with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Granted, the Raptors have not been great at home in the early season but I feel they will be the better team as they match up pretty well with Washington. The Raptors won a 88-78 game over the Wizards the last time these team met at the ACC. The Raptors are 3-1 versus the Wizards at home the last three seasons and 3-1 ATS when facing teams with a losing record this year. The Wizards are just 2-5 on the road this season. Lay the points with Toronto,. AAA
11-21-13 | UNLV v. Air Force -2.5 | Top | 41-21 | Loss | -110 | 105 h 11 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Air Force. The UNLV Rebels are 5-5 SU and 6-4 ATS and are coming off a 28-24 loss to Utah State on November 9th. QB Caleb Herring was just 17 of 39 for 252 yards and two TD's along with a costly INT. RB Tim Cornett had 115 yards on 29 attempts and one TD. It was however the Rebels second consecutive home loss and they remain one win shy of being bowl eligible. Unfortunately, a cold blustery day at Air Force is not conducive for this team to get that victory. Note that extreme inclement conditions have been forecast for this contest, 70% chance of snow showers, a 10-20 KMH wind and a wind chill of 11. Air Force is just 2-8 SU and 3-7 ATS. The Falcons are coming off a hard-fought 45-37 setback at New Mexico on November 8th. Anthony LaCoste ran for 177 yards while QB Nate Romine threw three TD passes while also running one in for a major. Note that UNLV is just 1-2 ATS in its last three following its bye-week, while Air Force is 3-2 ATS in its last five following a loss to a conference rival. I believe the conditions will be just too much for the kids from the dessert to overcome and expect the home side to pull away down the stretch. Play on Air Force. AAA
11-21-13 | New Orleans Saints -9 v. Atlanta Falcons | Top | 17-13 | Loss | -110 | 37 h 36 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SAMURAI" on the New Orleans Saints. The New Orleans Saints improved to 8-2 SU and 6-4 ATS after a 23-20 win at home over San Francisco. Drew Brees had 305 yards passing to go with one TD and one INT. Marques Colston finished with five catches for 80 yards. New Orleans overcame three turnovers in the game. The Atlanta Falcons continued to free fall last week with a 28-41 loss at Tampa Bay. Ryan completed 19 of 36 passes for 254 yards. He was replaced by Dominique Davis midway through the fourth quarter, but re-entered the game after the backup limped off the field with an injury. This one is fairly easy to handicap as the Saints have their eyes set on a top playoff seed in the NFC and the Atlanta Falcons continue to lose big to just about any team that they play. New Orleans has already one meeting with the Falcons this season, an early season victory when the Falcons were still considered a contender. Don
11-21-13 | Rutgers +16 v. Central Florida | Top | 17-41 | Loss | -110 | 103 h 8 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Rutgers. Rutgers is 5-4 SU and 3-5 ATS after suffering a big 17-52 loss at home to Cincinnati last weekend. Not a good day for Gary Nova who completed just 18 of 38 passes for 170 yards, one TD and two INTs. Brandon Coleman was a lone bright spot for the Scarlet Knights, reeling in six catches for 77 yards and a TD. Rutgers allowed a massive 619 total yards to the Bearcats. Central Florida is 8-1 SU and 6-3 ATS after a narrow 39-36 win over Temple. Blake Bortles had 404 yards passing and 64 yards rushing to go with his four TD passes. J.J Worton had 179 yards and three receiving TDs in the win. This is a classic letdown spot in the schedule for UCF as the team had games versus Temple and Rutgers before next week
11-21-13 | Rice v. UAB +20 | Top | 37-34 | Win | 100 | 103 h 7 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on UAB. The Rice Owls sit at 7-3 SU and ATS after a 52-14 beat down at home over Louisiana Tech. Charles Ross had five rushing TDs. Ross finished with a career-high 215 yards rushing. Luke Turner also had a 1-yard TD run as Rice set season highs with 415 yards rushing and 582 yards overall. UAB is 2-8 SU and 3-7 ATS after a 14-63 loss to East Carolina. Jonathan Perry completed just 16-of-34 passes for no TDs and two INTs. This looks like a mismatch at first glance but I feel the value is certainly here with UAB as the massive underdog at home. UAB is 2-1 ATS in home games this season and 1-0 recently as an underdog of 17-21 points at home. Rice is in a classic letdown spot after a big win over a different weaker sister team last week. Take the points with UAB. AAA
11-20-13 | Iowa State v. Brigham Young -5 | Top | 90-88 | Loss | -110 | 31 h 35 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ASSASSIN" on BYU. Iowa State is 3-0 after a 77-70 upset win over Michigan on Sunday. Melvin Ejim had 22 points in a return from injury and Naz Long added 16 in the win. Ejim's return was among the many reasons why Sunday's matinee was one of the biggest non-conference games Iowa State has ever hosted. BYU (4-0) is coming off a 80-60 beat down of Division two school Colorado Mesa. Matt Carlino scored 16 points. This was BYU's third-straight game with six players to hit double figures. Kyle Collinsworth added six assists to go along with his 12 points, and Nate Austin pulled down 12 rebounds. Iowa State has a lot more pressure here going on the road as a ranked opponent in BYU. The Cyclones have yet to play a game on the road while the Broncos are 3-0 at home so far. BYU is averaging 96.3 points and 50.2 percent shooting, and it could have star guard Tyler Haws back after he missed the last two contests with a lower abdominal strain. BYU look for major revenge here as well after getting decimated last season 63-83 by the Cyclones. Look for BYU to make a strong statement here and get a win at home. AAA

This is a 10* "ART OF THE GAME" on Northern Illinois. Northern Illinois sits at 10-0 SU and 6-4 ATS after a 48-27 win at home over Ball State. Jordan Lynch went 26 of 32 for 345 yards and two scores while running 20 times for 123 yards and two more TDs. Da
11-20-13 | Portland Trail Blazers v. Milwaukee Bucks +4 | Top | 91-82 | Loss | -110 | 30 h 32 m | Show |
This is a 10* "INTERCONTINENTAL EXPRESS" on the Milwaukee Bucks. The Portland Trailblazers (9-2) continue to roll off an impressive 108-98 win over the Brooklyn Nets. LaMarcus Aldridge had 27 points and 8 rebounds. Wesley Matthews chipped in 24 and Damien Lillard had 19 points and nine assists to help pace the offense. The Blazers shot over 50 percent on the road for a second straight game. The Milwaukee Bucks (2-7) look to bounce back off a terrible 72-92 loss at home to the Oklahoma City Thunder. O.J. Mayo was the lone bright spot for the Bucks, scoring 22 points in the loss as the team shot just 34% in the loss. The Blazers are on a very nice stretch here but I expect a big of letdown after playing in New York. Milwaukee was embarrassed at home last game and should be looking for a big bounce back. Note the Bucks are 1-0 ATS when coming off three days rest or more. Milwaukee is also 2-0 ATS versus Portland the last three years. Grab the points with the home dog here. AAA
11-20-13 | Indiana Pacers v. New York Knicks +4.5 | Top | 103-96 | Loss | -110 | 29 h 32 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER-BLOWOUT" on the New York Knicks. The Indiana Pacers (9-1) come off a 94-110 loss at the Chicago Bulls. Roy Hibbert had 14 points and 10 rebounds while all five starters for the Pacers finished in double figures in the loss. The usually potent Bulls defense allowed the Bulls to shoot over 50% from the field. The New York Knicks (3-7) look to bounce back off a 92-86 loss at the Detroit Pistons just last night. Carmelo Anthony had 27 points in the loss as many of the Knicks players just were not into this game. While the Knicks struggle to get much going against the Piston last night I have gut feeling the team was looking forward to this big matchup at MSG with the leagues
11-19-13 | Phoenix Suns v. Sacramento Kings -1 | Top | 104-107 | Win | 100 | 30 h 12 m | Show |
This is a 10* "WEST-COAST EXPRESS" on the Sacramento Kings. The Phoenix Suns (5-4) come off a 98-100 OT loss at home to the Brooklyn Nets. Goran Dragic had19 points and 10 assists in the loss. P.J Tucker added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the loss. The Suns shot just 43 percent from the field in an ugly game for the most part. The Sacramento Kings (2-7) look to bounce back off a 86-97 loss at home to the Memphis Grizzlies. Kings center DeMarcus Cousins, who came into the game averaging 22.8 points, had nine points in 19 minutes. Cousins and the rest of the Kings starters, with the exception of Luc Mbah a Moute, sat out the final 19 1/2 minutes. It was a terrible home loss for the Kings who really got no sort of effort from their starters in this game. I expect the home team be desperate and bounce back with a solid home effort playing at home for a second straight night. While the Suns are 4-1 at home, they have dropped three of four on the road. The Kings have won the last two matchups between these two teams and likely see this as competition they can and should win. Take Sacramento in pretty much a PK game. AAA
11-19-13 | Florida Panthers v. Vancouver Canucks -1.5 | Top | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 30 h 42 m | Show |
This is a 10* "PUCK-LINE DESTRUCTION" on the Vancouver Canucks. The Florida Panthers (5-12-4) come in off a 4-1 win at the Colorado Avalanche. Brian Campbell, Tomas Kopecky, Jonathan Huberdeau and Brad Boyes scored goals for the Panthers. Tim Thomas made 32 saves in the win and looked very good. The Vancouver Canucks (11-8-3) look to bounce back after a 1-2 loss at home to the Dallas Stars. The Canucks continued to struggle to score goals with Henrik Sedin scoring the lone goal for the squad who got another good performance from goalie Roberto Luongo who made 21 saves in the loss. Yes the Canucks have struggled but this is a good spot for it to come out and earn a win. The Canucks blasted 43 shots on the Dallas are doing everything in their power score goals without actually putting them on net. The Canucks are 7-1 against teams with a losing record this season while the Panthers are 1-9 versus non conference opponents. Look for Vancouver to break out of a slump here and earn big victory as it is the much better team in this matchup. Play the Canucks on the
11-19-13 | Buffalo -24 v. Miami (OH) | Top | 44-7 | Win | 100 | 56 h 55 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Buffalo. Buffalo is 7-3 SU and ATS after a 41-51 loss at Toledo last week. The Bulls fell behind 27-0 nothing at halftime and could never get back into a position to win despite outgaining the Rockets 605-551 in the game. Joe Licata finished the night 36-for-58 for 497 yards and three TDs with zero INTs. Alex Neutz caught eight balls for 168 yards and two scores and set a school record with his 30th career receiving touchdown. Branden Oliver went over 100 yards (102) for the sixth straight game. Miami (Ohio) is 0-10 after a 6-24 loss at Kent State last week. Austin Gearing rushed 23 times for 84 yards in the loss. Buffalo is looking to bounce back after a tough loss to Toledo last week and should be able to take out in a big way against lowly Miami Ohio here. The RedHawks have scored a total of nine points in their last two games. Buffalo is 5-1 ATS as the favorite this season and 5-0 versus teams with a losing record. Don

11-18-13 | New England Patriots +2.5 v. Carolina Panthers | Top | 20-24 | Loss | -105 | 174 h 12 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER-BLOWOUT" on the New England Patriots. The New England Patriots sit at 7-2 SU and 5-4 ATS after a bye week. The Patriots last saw the Field a home on November 3rd where the team had its best offensive performance in years, unloading on the Steelers for a 55-31 win. Tom Brady threw for season-highs of 432 yards and four touchdowns. Rob Gronkowski had 143 yards receiving and one TD in the win while Aaron Dobson had 130 yards and two TDs in the win. The Carolina Panthers turned some heads as it continued its great streak with an ugly 10-9 win at San Francisco last Sunday. Cam Newton went just 16-for-32 for 169 yards and was intercepted once. It was the offense defense that picked up the slack in this game for the Panthers. The Patriots are the underdog here and that gives us great value for a team is likely in my eyes to win this game straight up. Note that the Patriots are 3-0 ATS the past three seasons as the underdog. Tom Brady on Monday Night Football is spectacular, helping his team to a 3-0 SU and ATS record in the past few seasons. The Patriots are coming off a bye week and that means this team is the healthiest it has been all season. New England is 3-1 SU coming off bye weeks the past few seasons. Take the Patriots as the underdog. AAA
11-17-13 | Kansas City Chiefs v. Denver Broncos -7.5 | Top | 17-27 | Win | 100 | 150 h 11 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on the Denver Broncos. The visiting Kansas City Chiefs come off a bye as the lone undefeated team in the NFL at 9-0 SU and 6-3 ATS. The Chiefs won a 23-10 game at Buffalo prior to the week off. Once again it was the offense that won the game for Kansas City. Despite allowing a season-worst 470 yards of offense and 25 first downs, the Chiefs were opportunistic in holding their ninth consecutive opponent to 17 points or less. The difference was turnovers, as the Chiefs turned Buffalo's three giveaways, two interceptions thrown by Tuel and Graham's fumble... into 17 points. The Denver Broncos escaped San Diego with a 28-20 win to move to 8-1 SU and 5-3 ATS. Peyton Manning threw for 330 yards and four touchdowns, three to Demaryius Thomas. There is a lot of talk that this will be the best game of the week but I am not of that mind. The Chiefs have a very nice 9-0 record but we can

This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on the Seattle Seahawks. The Minnesota Vikings improved to 2-7 SU and 4-5 ATS after a 34-27 win at home versus Washington last week. Christian Ponder went 17-for-21 for 174 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for Minnesota before leaving late in the third quarter. John Carlson had seven catches for 98 yards and a touchdown, and rookie Cordarrelle Patterson also had a scoring reception for the Vikings. The Seattle Seahawks sit at 9-1 SU and 6-4 ATS after the 33-10 domination at Atlanta last week. Russell Wilson completed 17 of 26 passes for 287 yards and two TD passes. Marshawn Lynch rushed for 145 yards and one TD in the win. the Seahawks played probably its

This is a 10* BLOCKBUSTER" on the New Orleans Saints. The San Francisco 49ers lost an ugly 7-9 game at home to the Panthers to move to 6-3 both SU and ATS. Colin Kaepernick threw for 91 yards with an interception and was sacked a season-high six times. Frank Gore rushed 16 times for 82 yards in a losing effort. The New Orleans Saints improved to 7-2 SU and 6-3 ATS after a dominant 49-17 win at home to the Dallas Cowboys. Drew Brees was 34 of 41 for 392 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions. Meanwhile, a running game got it going behind a career-best 145 on 14 carries from Mark Ingram. This comes down to a simple fact that the Saints are dominant at home. New Orleans is 5-0 SU and ATS at home this season and 18-4 ATS the past few seasons. Note that Drew Brees has completed 74.4 percent of this passes and averaged 367.2 passing yards while throwing 18 TDs and two INT, including none in the last three games, at home this season. 11-17-13 | Portland Trail Blazers v. Toronto Raptors | Top | 118-110 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 25 m | Show |
This is a 10* "CODE RED DESTRUCTION" on the Toronto Raptors. The Portland Trailblazers (7-2) come off a 109-96 win at the Boston Celtics. LaMarcus Aldridge was impressive with 27 points and 12 rebounds while Nicolas Batum added 18 points and five rebounds in the win. The Toronto Raptors (4-6) is coming off a 96-80 blowout loss at home to the Chicago Bulls. DeMar DeRozan matched his career high with 37 points and Rudy Gay had 20 points and nine rebounds as the Raptors lost for the fifth time in seven games. No other Toronto player reached double figures. The Trailblazers come off a big win at the Celtics but I expect a bit of letdown down here coming in to Toronto. The Raptors meanwhile are pissed after a terrible game at home to the Rose-less Bulls. Expect a bounce back here and ultimately a win. The Raptors handed the Blazers a 102-79 loss last season in TO and I expect another good performance here. Take Toronto. AAA
11-17-13 | NY Jets +1.5 v. Buffalo Bills | Top | 14-37 | Loss | -110 | 143 h 44 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ATS ASSASSIN" on the New York Jets. The visiting New York Jets come off a bye week at 5-4 SU and 6-3 ATS. The Jets went in the week off with a 26-20 win over the New Orleans Saints. Chris Ivory rushed for 138 yards and one TD against his old team. Geno Smith threw the ball just 18 times, completing 9 attempts for 115 yards. The Jets defense came up with two interceptions on Drew Brees. The Buffalo Bills sit at 3-7 SU and 5-5 ATS after a 10-23 loss at Pittsburgh last Sunday. E.J Manuel struggled in his return, completing 22 of 39 passes for 155 yards for one TD and one INT. The Jets come off a bye week and still have a shot at winning this division. Good value here too as the Jets are 5-3 when labeled the underdog. The Bills have lost three in row and are quickly fading from any playoff chances. Rex Ryan
11-17-13 | Indiana St v. Notre Dame -11.5 | Top | 83-70 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 42 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SITUATIONAL DESTRUCTION" on Notre Dame. Indiana State Sycamores (1-1) come off a narrow 95-96 loss at Bellmont. Indiana State led at the half 49-33, but Belmont opened the second half outscoring the Sycamores 31-15 and tying the score at 64 with 10 minutes to play. Khristian Smith led the team with 28 points while Jake Odum added 23 points and 6 rebounds in the loss. Notre Dame (2-0) is coming off a 80-49 demolition over Stetson. Garrick Sherman had 15 points and nine rebounds Sunday, and Jerian Grant also scored 15 points to lead the Fighting Irish. After being tested in a 74-62 win over Miami of Ohio in its season opener, Notre Dame (2-0) had little trouble against Stetson last Sunday and I expect some domination to continue here. Both Indiana State and Notre Dame are off to outstanding offensive starts. The Irish are shooting 53.2 percent while making 19 of 38 3-pointers and the Sycamores are connecting on 52.7 percent of their shots and have made 18 of 38 of their 3s. I just think the Fighting Irish are in another class here and should get an easy win here at home, covering the spread while they are at it. Lay the points on spread that should be much higher. 11-16-13 | Oregon State v. Arizona State -13.5 | Top | 17-30 | Loss | -110 | 150 h 26 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SITUATIONAL GAME OF THE YEAR" on Arizona State. The Oregon State Beavers were idle last week enjoying a bye. Prior the week off, the Beavers moved to 6-3 SU and 4-5 ATS, falling 14-31 to USC. Oregon State's Sean Mannion threw for 277 yards and a touchdown but also threw three uncharacteristic interceptions in the loss, the second straight for the Beavers. Brandin Cooks had six receptions for 86 yards and a TD score in the loss. Arizona State is 7-2 SU and 5-4 ATS after a narrow 20-19 win at Utah. Taylor Kelly finished 19-for-31 for 144 yards and one TD pass in game where he was largely ineffective till the fourth quarter. Marion Grice rushed 20 times for 136 yards. Arizona State has been dominant at home, going 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS this season. What has separated Arizona State from other squads in the Pac-12 is that not only is it extremely productive on offense but it can also dominate on defense. The Beavers have been solid all year on the road this is by far the best team its
11-16-13 | Texas Tech v. Baylor -27 | Top | 34-63 | Win | 100 | 148 h 12 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Baylor. Texas Tech fell to 7-3 SU and 5-5 ATS after a 26-49 loss at home to Kansas State. Backup QB Baker Mayfield completed 34 of 44 passes for 347 yards, zero TDs and two INTs in place of Davis Webb who left with an injury in the second quarter. Jace Amaro, the Big 12's leader in receptions, continued his streak of games with at least eight catches. He finished with nine for 67 yards. Meanwhile, Baylor continued to roll to an 8-0 SU and 7-1 ATS record after a 59-12 romp of Oklahoma last week to show that the team is for real. Bryce Petty completed 13 of 26 passes for 206 yards and three TDs and also rushed for two more on 16 carries. Shock Linwood had 23 carries for 182 yards on the ground. While the Red Raiders' defensive numbers (27.0 ppg, 389.1 ypg) appear respectable, the unit has played poorly during the three-game losing streak in allowing a whopping 46.3 ppg. That spells bad news going into a game with a Baylor offense that ranks as the best overall offensive team in the nation. The Bears have far and away the most explosive offense in the nation, ranking first in the FBS in total offense (686.0 ypg), scoring offense (61.0 ppg), pass efficiency at 201.5 and yards per play at 8.64.The Bears are 4-0 ATS as favorite between 21.5 points to 31 this season and is 4-1 ATS versus conference teams this season. Baylor is also 2-0 ATS versus Texas Tech the last few seasons. Lay the points. AAA
11-16-13 | Syracuse v. Florida State -39 | Top | 3-59 | Win | 100 | 144 h 28 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Florida State. Syracuse sits at 5-4 SU and 6-3 ATS after a 20-3 win over Maryland. Jerome Smith ran for 118 yards and two touchdowns, and Syracuse used a strong defensive effort to beat error-prone Maryland. Terell Hunt finished 15 for 24 for 140 yards and an interception. He also ran for 67 yards on seven carries. Syracuse won despite being penalized 12 times for 115 yards and going 3 for 14 on third-down conversions. Florida State is rolling at 9-0 SU and 7-2 ATS after a 59-3 demolition of Wake Forest. Florida State tied a school record with six interceptions, returned turnovers for touchdowns on consecutive plays and gave the offense short fields in the rout. Jamies Winston threw two touchdown passes while leading an offense that gained just 296 total yards, well off its ACC-leading average of 549. The Seminoles are off their best start in school history and has eyes on the National Championship game. The fact that the offense didn

This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Ohio State. Ohio State is 9-0 SU and 6-2 ATS after beating up on Purdue 55-0 nothing back on November 2nd. Braxton Miller and combined for seven TDs, five in the air and two on the ground. Jeff Heuerman had 116 receiving yards, including a reception for a score. The Buckeyes defense forced six turnovers in this game. Illinois sits at 3-6 SU and 4-5 ATS after a 35-52 loss at Indiana. Nathan Scheelhaase completed 38 of 57 passes for 450 yards and two touchdowns to lead Illinois. He added 45 yards and a score on the ground. Receiver Steve Hull had 224 yards and two touchdowns on nine receptions. Ohio State is going to win this game, just by how much is the question. This team hasn't lost in 22 months. Urban Meyer tied a personal best by winning his 22nd consecutive game, which includes his final victory at Florida. The Buckeyes have QB
11-16-13 | Iowa State v. Oklahoma -23.5 | Top | 10-48 | Win | 100 | 141 h 59 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Oklahoma. The Iowa State Cyclones sit at 1-8 SU and 4-5 ATS after a 17-20 narrow loss home. Grant Rohach threw for 148 yards. E.J. Bibbs had a team high seven receptions for 63 yards while the team got a TD from Sam Richardson and a special teams TD. The Cyclones offense stalled for much of the game like it has all season. Oklahoma sits at 7-2 SU and 4-5 ATS after an embarrassing 12-41 loss at Baylor in a primetime weekday game. Blake Bell had a tough game, completing just 15-of-35 passes for one TD and two INT. The Sooners are still a solid squad and this is an easy matchup for the team. The Cyclones' boast the Big 12's worst defense at 37.8 ppg, 465.3 ypg and have lost six in a row. In terms of the all-time series, it has been complete and utter domination on Oklahoma's part, as it has gone 70-5-2 versus the Cyclones, which includes wins in each of the last 14 meetings. The Sooners are still very stout defensively and the loss to Baylor in my eyes said more about how good the Bears are than a slight on the Sooners who still allow just 21.2 points and 330.3 yards per game. Coming off a very demoralizing loss, I expect this to be a good situation for the Sooners to bounce back .Oklahoma is fortunate it has a home matchup against a last-place team and have had an extra couple of days to prepare for this game more than Iowa State. Expect the Sooners to earn a huge win here. Oklahoma has a 2-0ATS record this season as a favorite between 21.5 points to 30 points. Note that I played against the Sooners last week but I think it has swung the other way here. Lay the big ones here. AAA
11-15-13 | Oakland +18 v. California | Top | 60-64 | Win | 100 | 30 h 55 m | Show |
This is a 10* "GOLDEN URSINE" on Oakland. Oakland is 0-2, most recently coming off a 91-60 loss at UCLA on Tuesday. The setback came after a 21 point loss to No. 12 North Carolina. Travis Bader had 19 points, while Tommie McCune chipped in 12 (note though that Oakland is 12-11 ATS in its last 23 after allowing 80 points or more). Cal is coming off a 77-50 win over Denver on Tuesday. Tyrone Wallace had 16 points, while David Kravish chipped in 15 (note though that California is just 12-13 ATS in its last 25 following a non-conference game). This is a matchup of David vs. Goliath, and the oddsmakers obviously agree with the large double-digit spread afforded to the visitors. I believe that Cal comes in complacent though and that Oakland sneaks in the back door. The Grizzlies have been competitive in the second half of their games, making 50 percent of their shots from behind the arc and 42 percent from the floor overall. This is a soft part of the schedule for California, tonight's contest setting up as a classic "letdown" spot. I'm grabbing the points. AAA
11-15-13 | Memphis Grizzlies -3.5 v. Los Angeles Lakers | Top | 89-86 | Loss | -105 | 30 h 31 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on the Memphis Grizzlies. The Memphis Grizzlies (3-5) come off a very disappointing 87-107 loss on home court to the Toronto Raptors. Mike Conley had 29 points and 5 assists while Marc Gasol added 18 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. The usually really sound defense of the Grizz allowed the Raptors to shoot over 50 percent from three point land. The LA Lakers (4-6) come off a 99-111 loss at the Denver Nuggets. Pau Gasol had 25 points and 12 rebounds while Jordan Hill added 18 points and 15 rebounds in the loss. Both these teams have struggled but we expected it from the Grizzlies not the Lakers early this season. The Lakers have also dropped three of four, all by double-digit margins, though they're 3-2 at home. After a loss of 10 points or more the Grizzlies are 2-1. Memphis has won three of the last five meetings with the Lakers and I expect them to bounce back and show why they are playoff team here. Lay the short points. AAA

This is a 10* "SCORPION" on Washington. Washington is 6-3 SU and 5-4 ATS and is coming off a 59-7 blowout win over Colorado. Keith Price threw for two touchdowns and ran for one as part of a huge first half where Washington racked up nearly 500 yards on offense. Washington ran 59 plays and finished with 464 total yards in the first half. Bishop Sankey had 143 yards and a TD rushing the ball. UCLA sits at 7-2 SU and 6-3 ATS after a 31-26 win at Arizona. Brett Hundley completed 18-of-25 passes for 227 yards and two TDs. Freshman linebacker Myles Jack played offense, too, rushing for 120 yards on his first six carries of the season. Note that I played on both of these teams last week and was victorious with each covering the spread. These teams are largely mirror images of each other. Each squad has a very effective offense led by two of the more consistent quarterbacks in the country. Scoring points won't be the issue for either team. Look for the value to be in the fact that this game could really come down to the wire and getting points is the way to go. Take Washington plus the points. AAA

Kevin Love had 33 points, 8 rebounds and six assists while Corey Brewer added 27 points on 5 for 5 on three 3-point FG shot. The Wolves shot 54 percent from the field. This is a 10* "PUCK-LINE DESTRUCTION" on the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Predators are 8-8-2, including 4-6-1 on the road. They've loss three straight, most recently a listless 3-1 setback at the New York Islanders on Tuesday. It was the sixth game of a seven-stop road trip, tonight's contest mercifully ending the monster sojourn away from friendly confines (note that Nashville is just 10-13/-4.4 units in its last 23 non-conference games). The 11-7 Pens can empathize with the Preds as they've also lost three straight, most recently a 2-1 setback at home to the Flyers on Wednesday (note though that Pittsburgh is already 1-0/+1 unit this season after three or more consecutive losses). This is a great situational play I feel. The Preds are down their No. 1 goaltender and the Penguins will be desperate to get their high-powered offense untracked; what better opponent to take their frustrations out on than the road-weary Nashville Predators? Pittsburgh goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury has allowed two goals or fewer in 11 of 15 starts; expect his team to finally give him the support he deserves. In what will prove to be an epically lop-sided destruction, lay the 1.5 goals for the "plus money" return. AAA
11-14-13 | Loyola Marymount v. Long Beach State +2.5 | Top | 74-73 | Win | 100 | 28 h 55 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SITUATIONAL DESTRUCTION" on Long Beach State. Loyola Marymount (2-0) come off a 98-89 win at home over South Dakota State. Anthony Ireland had 20 points and 12 assists. Ben Dickinson added 22 points and six rebounds and freshman Gabe Levin added 20 points and six boards. Loyola Marymount committed 37 fouls, equaling a school-worst. Long Beach State (1-1) looks to bounce back off a 57-91 loss at Arizona. Dan Jennings had 16 points and 8 rebounds to lead the 49ers. This is a very tough early schedule for Long Beach State who has games versus top schools in Michigan, Arizona, Kansas State and Washington. I expect Long Beach State to make it an emphasis on winnings this game against a beat able opponent in Loyola Marymount. Long Beach State won 73-70 thriller last season and I expect this could be another thriller with the home taking it. Lay the short points. AAA

This is a 10* "SAMURAI" on the Indianapolis Colts. The Indianapolis Colts at 6-3 SU and 5-4 ATS look to bounce back off a 8-38 loss at home to the St. Louis Rams. Andrew Luck completed 29-of-47 passes for 353 yards, one TD and three INTs. T.Y. Hilton had seven receptions for 130 yards in the loss. The Colts ran the ball just 14 times for a combined total of just 18 yards. Indy also turned the ball over five times. The Tennessee Titans handed the Jacksonville Jaguars its first win of the season 27-29 to fall to 4-5 SU and 5-3 ATS. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 264 yards and was responsible for three TDs, stepping in for an injured Jake Locker. Kendall Wright had 78 yards on seven receptions. The Colts were considered a Super Bowl contender in the eyes of many before this last performance and I am going to give them a mulligan here. "I think all we want is to never play like that again," tight end Coby Fleener said. "The feeling after that game was just disgust." The Colts have already shown us they can win the big game in prime time against the likes of Denver and San Francisco. The Titans are just 1-3 ATS at home and 1-4 ATS as the underdog. The Colts are 3-1 SU against Tennessee the last three seasons and I expect them to take care of business again. Consider laying the points here with the better team. AAA
11-14-13 | Houston Rockets v. New York Knicks +3.5 | Top | 109-106 | Win | 100 | 29 h 20 m | Show |
This is a 10* "NON-CONFERENCE GAME OF THE YEAR" on the New York Knicks. The New York Knicks (3-4) got back in the win column with a good 95-91 road win at the Atlanta Hawks last night. Carmelo Anthony again led the team in scoring with 25 points and 4 rebounds. Andrea Bargnani had 20 points and 11 rebounds to help spell Tyson Chandler who is out with injury. The Houston Rockets (5-4) look to bounce back after a 117-123 loss at the Philadelphia 76ers. This is a 10* "TOP OF THE FOOD CHAIN" on Clemson. Georgia Tech comes in off a bye sitting at 6-3 SU and 4-5 ATS after a 21-10 win over Pittsburgh. Robert Godhigh ran for two touchdowns, Georgia Tech's defense recorded a season-high five sacks. Vad Lee completed 5 of 10 passes for 84 yards. Watkins caught eight passes for 169 yards and two scores. It was his sixth 100-yard game this season. Taj Boyd finished 24 of 29 for 377 yards for three TD passes to one INT. 11-14-13 | Marshall -15.5 v. Tulsa | Top | 45-34 | Loss | -105 | 102 h 42 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF THE GAME" on Marshall. Marshall sits at 6-3 SU and 5-3 ATS after a 46-15 crushing of UAB last Saturday. Rakeem Cato had four total touchdowns and Marshall had 657 total yards. Steward Butler ran for 139 yards, Essray Taliaferro had 118 and Kevin Grooms had 108. The Thundering Herd averaged 12.6 yards per play in the win, school record. Tulsa fell to 2-7 SU and 1-8 ATS after a 24-58 loss to Eastern Michigan last Saturday. Trey Watts rushed for 120 yards and a score for Tulsa and has now rushed for at least 100 yards for the 5th time this season and 12th of his career. The Golden Hurricane turned the ball over three times, including an interception that was returned for a TD. Marshall has been on fire of late, winning four of five and is coming off two straight wins where it won by an average of 45 points. Tulsa is 0-4 ATS at home and 0-3 ATS as the underdog. The Thundering Herd comes into this game looking for double revenge after a second straight loss to Tulsa last season. Lay the points with Marshall. AAA
11-13-13 | Washington Wizards v. San Antonio Spurs -10 | Top | 79-92 | Win | 100 | 26 h 25 m | Show |
This is a 10* "INTERCONTINENTAL EXPRESS" on the San Antonio Spurs. The Washington Wizards (2-5) come off a heartbreaking 95-105 loss at the Dallas Mavericks last night on Sunday. Trevor Ariza had 27 points and 7 rebounds while Marcin Gortat added 12 points and 12 rebounds in the loss. San Antonio (7-1) is coming off a 109-85 beat down of the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday. Danny Green had 18 points and 7 rebounds while Tony Parker added 13 points and nine assists in the win. The San Antonio Spurs have won two straight blow outs out on the road and now return home to face a team that played just last night. The Spurs have held their last three opponents to 82.7 points per game on 40.0-percent shooting. They've won those three games by an average of 19.0 points. The Spurs won the last meeting between these two teams by exactly 10 points but I am expecting an even bigger win here. Note that the Wizards are 1-4 SU and ATS on the back end of a back to back situation. Lay the points with San Antonio. AAA
11-13-13 | Ball State +5.5 v. Northern Illinois | Top | 27-48 | Loss | -110 | 79 h 35 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on Ball State. Ball State sits at 9-1 SU and 7-3 ATS after a 44-24 beat down of Eastern Michigan. Keith Wenning threw for 299 yards and four touchdowns and Horactio Banks had 11 carries for a career-high 143 yards and a score to help Ball State. Northern Illinois is 9-0 SU and 5-4 ATS after a 63-19 beat down of Massachusetts. Jordan Lynch was his all world self, rushing for 119 yards and four TDs while throwing for 160 yards and a score. This was a week after Lynch accounted for six TD scores. Backup Drew Hare connected with Chad Beebe on an 81-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter and followed it with a 47-yard TD run to make it 63-19. These are arguably the two best teams in the MAC conference as both teams are a perfect 5-0 in MAC play. Ball State has been a roll as well quietly as they come in as the underdog. The Cardinals have won seven straight and covered the spread the only game they played as the underdog this season. This game plays as double revenge as Northern Illinois has won the last two games by close scores Note that the Cardinals had a 9 point lead in the third quarter before imploding in the matchup last season. Surprisingly, NIU is just 4-4 ATS as the favorite this season. Look for this game to be a close one too and grab the points. AAA
11-13-13 | Miami (OH) +17.5 v. Kent State | Top | 6-24 | Loss | -110 | 79 h 34 m | Show |

11-12-13 | Kansas v. Duke -3.5 | Top | 94-83 | Loss | -110 | 30 h 30 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SITUATIONAL DESTRUCTION" on Duke. The fifth ranked Kansas Jayhawks come in this big time showdown Tuesday off a 80-63 romp of UL Monroe in its opening game. Prized recruit Andrew Wiggins had 16 points 3 assists and three steals on a efficient 5-of-9 shooting. Teammates Perry Ellis and Andrew White each added 12 points in the blowout win. The fourth ranked Duke Blue Devils dominated Davidson 111-77 in its opener. Rodney Hood had 22 points and 9 rebounds in the win. The Blue Devils had three other players besides Hood who finished the game with over 20 points. This is a battle of the heavy weights here no doubt with most sports books giving Kansas a few points here as the underdog. I happen to agree that the Blue Devils will come away with a victory here but it very well be by well more than just a couple points. Duke has three-to -four players with mega play ability. Duke is 5-1 ATS on neutral courts as the favorite of 5-10 points the last three seasons. Kansas is just 0-2 ATS as the underdog of 3.5-6 points on neutral courts. Lay the points with Duke. AAA
11-12-13 | Milwaukee Bucks v. Miami Heat -12.5 | Top | 95-118 | Win | 100 | 27 h 7 m | Show |
This is a 10* "EASTERN-CONFERENCE ELITE INSIDER" on the Miami Heat. The Milwaukee Bucks (2-3) look to bounce back after a 91-83 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. O.J. Mayo had 28 points and six rebounds against his old team. Caron Butler added 19 points as the Bucks shot just 38 percent from the field. The Miami Heat (4-3) looks to bounce back off a stunning 111-110 last second loss to the Boston Celtics at home. LeBron James had 25 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists. Chris Bosh added 20 points and seven assist while Dwayne Wade had 16 in the loss. The Heat allowed the Celtics to shoot 51 percent from the floor in this game. The Heat are likely looking for vengeance after a loss like that to weak team at home like Celtics. The Heat is one of the best defensive teams in the league when they really put their minds to it. Four of the last five meetings between these two teams saw the lower number hit and with the Heat probably going to blowout the Bucks in this game, expect a very low number from Milwaukee. Take the Heat to easily cover the spread in what should be a blowout. AAA
11-12-13 | Buffalo +4 v. Toledo | Top | 41-51 | Loss | -110 | 54 h 20 m | Show |
This is a 10* "SUPER-BLOWOUT" on Buffalo. Buffalo is 7-2 SU and ATS after a 30-3 beat down of Ohio last week. Branden Oliver had 249 yards rushing and two touchdowns to lead Buffalo. Joe Licata threw two touchdown passes to Alex Neutz as the Bulls won their seventh straight game. Toledo is 6-3 SU and ATS and is coming off a bye week. The Rockets won a 55-16 win over Eastern Michigan prior to the open date. Terrance Owens threw for 375 yards and three touchdowns to lead Toledo. The Rockets amassed 729 yards of total offense. Kareem Hunt, who recorded his third consecutive 100-yard game, rushed 20 times for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Two teams on a roll here as Buffalo has won seven in a row and Toledo has won four in row as well. Buffalo is a perfect 5-0 ATS this season against conference opponents and is looking to get revenge after last year

11-11-13 | Miami Dolphins -1 v. Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Top | 19-22 | Loss | -123 | 121 h 39 m | Show |
This is a 10* "MNF SUPER SITUATIONAL DESTRUCTION" on the Miami Dolphins. The Miami Dolphins sit at 4-4 SU and ATS after winning a Thursday night game 22-20 OT over the Cincinnati Bengals, breaking a four game losing streak in the process. Ryan Tannehill completed 20-of-28 passes for 208 yards. Lamar Miller had 129 total yards while Mike Wallace added 82 receiving in the win. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers sit at 0-8 SU and 2-6 ATS after a heartbreaking 24-27 OT loss at Seattle last weekend. Mike James had 128 yards rushing and one TD throw while Mike Glennon completed 17-of 23 passes for 168 yards and two TDs in the loss. Yes there has been a lot of talk surrounding the Miami Dolphins this week that are non football strategy related. The NFL is still about winning though I expect them to forget this circus when they hit the field this Monday night. The Dolphins were dominated rushing the ball and on the defensive side in its last game. Miami has had almost a week and a half to prepare for this game and should ready to go here. Lets
11-11-13 | Georgia Southern v. Miami (Fla) -14 | Top | 80-81 | Loss | -106 | 25 h 23 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on Miami Florida. Georgia Southern is coming off a 110-74 win over Columbia International. Jelani Hewitt had 15 points, four assists and three rebounds for the Eagles. Tre Bussey added 20 points and 5 rebounds in the win. The Eagles limited Columbia Int. to just 36.5 percent shooting. The defending ACC champs Miami Florida lost its first game of the season Donavan Kirk had 16 points and 10 rebounds for a new look Hurricanes squad. This is certainly a new look Miami team with just small percentage of the team returning this year. Still, even with the growing pains, this team is better than Georgia Southern and will win this on in a serious blowout. Lay the points. AAA
11-11-13 | Yale v. Connecticut -18 | Top | 62-80 | Push | 0 | 21 h 25 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Connecticut. Yale is 1-0 and is coming off a 93-77 win over Central Connecticut State in its first game of the season. Armani Cotton contributed 17 points and Javier Duren added 16 for the Bulldogs. Shabez Napier scored 18 points, Niels Giffey had 13 and No. 18 Connecticut survived Maryland's second-half surge in a 78-77 victory Friday night. 11-10-13 | Dallas Cowboys v. New Orleans Saints -6.5 | Top | 17-49 | Win | 100 | 97 h 41 m | Show |
This is a 10* "ART OF WAR" on the New Orleans Saints. The Dallas Cowboys sit at 5-4 SU and 7-2 ATS after a 27-23 home win over Minnesota last weekend. Romo threw for 337 yards and two touchdowns, including the go-ahead score to Dwayne Harris with 35 seconds left. Jason Witten had 102 yards receiving and one TD score in the win. The Cowboys were actually outgained 350-303 by the Vikings in this game. The New Orleans Saints sit at 6-2 SU and 5-3 ATS after an embarrassing 20-26 loss at the New York Jets. Drew Brees was 30 of 51 for 382 yards with two TDs and two picks. Jimmy Graham finished with 116 yards on nine receptions. The New Orleans Saints return home here and will be seething mad after a tough loss on the road. The Saints are perfect 4-0 SU and ATS at home this season. Yes the Cowboys are 4-0 ATS as an underdog this season but note the team is just 1-3 SU on the road. The Saints will be up for this game and expect them to get the easy win. Lay the points. 11-10-13 | Denver Broncos -6.5 v. San Diego Chargers | Top | 28-20 | Win | 100 | 93 h 37 m | Show |
This is a 10* "BLOCKBUSTER" on Denver Broncos. The Denver Broncos come out of the bye week at 7-1 SU and 4-3 ATS. The Broncos beat the Washington Redskins 45-21 prior to the week off. Peyton Manning passed for 354 yards, four TDs and three INTs. Four different Broncos receivers had a TD receptions including Wes Welker who had 81 yards receiving. Kneenan Allen had 121 yards and a TD reception while Danny Woohead had 77 yards rushing the loss. The Chargers a far better team at home there is no secret there but the Broncos are going to prove to be too tough as the team comes off a bye with an offense nearly unstoppable with Manning given the extra time. Denver showed no problem bouncing back off the loss to Indy to get a big win. Denver is 2-0 ATS versus the Chargers in San Diego the last two seasons. Look for a big win here from the Broncos who have make another statement in the division. AAA
