Notre Dame v. Virginia -12 | | 55-57 |
Loss | -110 | 2 h 58 m | Show |
How has No. 7 Virginia gone from being a National Invitation Tournament team last season to one that's fighting for a high seed in the NCAA Tournament? Much of the improvement for the Cavaliers can be traced to 3-point shooting. After ranking 12th out of 15 teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference last year with 32.2 percent accuracy from deep, Virginia is No. 2 in the league with 37.6 percent marksmanship. Surging Virginia (20-4, 12-3 ACC) will fire away again Saturday afternoon when struggling Notre Dame (10-16, 2-13) visits Charlottesville, Va. The Cavaliers' success from long-range has been fueled by its veteran backcourt trio. After hitting 29.6 percent from beyond the arc last year, Armaan Franklin has made 40.5 percent this year, helping him boost his scoring average from 11.1 to 12.8 points per game. While Kihei Clark has increased his 3-point marksmanship from 34.6 percent to 40.0 percent and his scoring from 10.0 points to 11.7, Reece Beekman has hiked his 33.8 figure to 39.3 percent this season, along with an increase in scoring from 8.2 points to 9.7 points. Another key player in Virginia's success from the perimeter has been freshman reserve Isaac McKneely, who leads the team with his 43.0 percent accuracy. |

New Mexico +1.5 v. San Jose State | Top | 96-68 |
Win | 100 | 13 h 37 m | Show |
Offensive production has been hard to come by for San Jose State this season, as they are currently ranked 399th in college basketball at 64.3 points per game. A significant reason for low-scoring totals is that they have played at a below-average pace, and have struggled to knock down outside shots. The Spartans’ 3-point shooting percentage sits at just 35.2% as a team, placing them 169th in the NCAA. |

Air Force v. Utah State -12.5 | | 65-80 |
Win | 100 | 13 h 20 m | Show |
Air Force is coming off a high point for its team. The Falcons defeated New Mexico 89-77 in what was the highest-scoring game of the season for Air Force. Jake Heidbreder scored 26 points, the most he’s put up in conference play and most since Dec. 6 when he had 27 against South Dakota. Even with that win, the Falcons remain ninth in the Mountain West standings, just ahead of Colorado State. But having just defeated fifth-place New Mexico, the Falcons are catching Utah State at its low point of the season. The fourth-place Aggies have lost two in a row for the first time this year. But head coach Ryan Odom said the team hasn’t altered its approach, just as it hasn’t all year no matter if the team wins or loses any given day. The Falcons come back down to Earth in this one. |

It's been almost a month since St. John's won back-to-back contests. Meanwhile, DePaul would settle for just one victory at the moment. The Red Storm will look to build on their latest victory over a ranked opponent and snap a three-game road losing streak when they travel to Chicago on Tuesday night for a meeting with the Blue Demons, who have lost six straight. St. John's (15-11, 5-10 Big East) held then-No. 20 Providence to 33.3-percent shooting to end a three-game skid with Saturday's 73-68 home victory. Though it was the second time this season the Red Storm beat a ranked opponent, they're 2-5 since winning consecutive games on Jan. 10 and 15. |

Win | 100 | 9 h 47 m | Show |
When Big East rivals Seton Hall and Villanova face off Saturday night in Philadelphia, it will mark the first meeting between the programs' new head coaches, Shaheen Holloway and Kyle Neptune. Both young coaches have encountered their share of trials and tribulations in Year One, but while Villanova has begun to regain its footing, Seton Hall has the greater chance of the two to play some postseason basketball. The Pirates (15-10, 8-6 Big East) turned around a 1-4 league start by winning seven of eight games. That stretch was dented Wednesday in a 75-62 home loss to No. 23 Creighton. Seton Hall shot 50 percent in the first half and held a six-point lead with 16:49 to play, but Creighton shot an unstoppable 13-for-20 in the second half to pull away. The Pirates dropped to 0-6 against the top four teams in the Big East and missed out on a chance at a Quadrant 1 win for their resume. |

Loss | -110 | 5 h 15 m | Show |
Amid significant change, each team will have a different look from the last time they met when the Utah Jazz visit the Toronto Raptors on Friday night. The Jazz, who defeated the Raptors 131-128 on Feb.1 at Salt Lake City, were involved in a three-team trade before their 143-118 home loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. In an eight-player deal involving the Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers, the Jazz traded Mike Conley, Malik Beasley, Jarred Vanderbilt, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and three second-round picks for Russell Westbrook, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Damian Jones and a Lakers 2027 top-four protected first-round pick. After the Raptors defeated the visiting Spurs 112-98 on Wednesday, they reacquired center Jakob Poeltl from San Antonio in exchange for Khem Birch, a protected 2024 first-round draft pick and two future second-round draft picks. The trade by the Jazz leaves Jordan Clarkson as the team's longest-tenured player. Conley was his backcourt mate in the starting lineup this season. |

Seattle Kraken +1.5 v. Rangers | | 3-6 |
Loss | -145 | 5 h 45 m | Show |
For portions of the season, Patrick Kane was the marquee name linked to the New York Rangers in their search to boost an offense that ranked around the middle of the NHL pack. Instead of turning to the Chicago Blackhawks and getting Kane, the Rangers turned to another Midwestern city and acquired Vladimir Tarasenko and his expiring contract from the St. Louis Blues. The Rangers will get 31 regular-season games to see whether Tarasenko can boost their offense, starting Friday night when they host the slumping Seattle Kraken. A little over a week after the rival New York Islanders acquired Bo Horvat from the Vancouver Canucks, the Rangers landed Tarasenko along with defenseman Niko Mikkola on Thursday afternoon. The Rangers gave up conditional 2023 first- and 2024 fourth-round picks, forward Sammy Blais and prospect Hunter Skinner. Kane has yet to decide whether he wants to be dealt from Chicago, so instead of waiting closer to next month's deadline, the Rangers struck early to acquire Tarasenko, whose 29 points ranked fifth on the Blues. Tarasenko, who has scored 10 goals, missed nearly a month with a right hand injury before returning Jan. 24. |

Nevada v. New Mexico -4 | | 77-76 |
Loss | -110 | 13 h 12 m | Show |
Offensive production has been hard to come by for Nevada this season, as they are currently ranked 161st in college basketball at 72.5 points per game. A major reason for low-scoring totals is the fact that they have played at a below-average pace, and have struggled to knock down outside shots. As a team, the Wolf Pack’s 3-point shooting percentage sits at just 33.8%, placing them 270th in the NCAA. |

Colorado State +1.5 v. Air Force | | 69-53 |
Win | 100 | 12 h 13 m | Show |
Colorado State comes into the game looking to control the pace of play, as they are just 598th in possessions per game. Even with their preference to slow the game down, the Rams’ are scoring at a rate similar to the NCAA average of 73.7 points per game. So far, 38.91% of their shots have come from beyond the arc, where they have connected at a rate of 35.8%. That's good enough to beat Air Force. |

Ohio -4 v. Northern Illinois | Top | 82-76 |

On offense, Ohio is scoring a rate similar to the NCAA average at 73.9 points per game. This figure has come despite struggling to knock down shots from outside. Loss | -110 | 11 h 36 m | Show |
After overcoming a 20-point deficit to win a game for the first time this season, the New York Knicks will try to carry the momentum into Tuesday's matchup against the host Orlando Magic. The Knicks' roller-coaster season hit a new peak over the weekend. One night after losing 134-128 in overtime to the Los Angeles Clippers, New York rallied from a 21-point deficit to beat the Philadelphia 76ers 108-97 on Sunday. Julius Randle had 24 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in the victory, while Jalen Brunson added 21 points. The Knicks also received a welcome boost from reserves Evan Fournier (17 points), Miles McBride (14 points) and Isaiah Hartenstein (14 rebounds). "For us to come back today and compete and win the game, it says a lot about the character of our team," Randle said. "It was a big win." New York has struggled defensively since center Mitchell Robinson fractured his right thumb 10 games ago but held the Sixers to 18 points in the fourth quarter on Sunday. |

Kings v. Pelicans +1.5 | | 104-136 |
Win | 100 | 9 h 19 m | Show |
Brandon Ingram has regained his form, and the New Orleans Pelicans' long losing streak is over. Ingram returned from a two-month absence due to a toe injury and struggled offensively for most of his first four games back, which were part of a 10-game losing streak. But in his fifth game back he scored a season-high 35 points as the Pelicans won for the first time since Jan. 13 by beating the visiting Los Angeles Lakers, 131-126 on Saturday. The Pelicans will try to win consecutive games for the first time since completing a five-game winning streak on Dec. 30 as they host the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night. Ingram didn't score in the first quarter after going to the bench with two early fouls, but he dominated the last three quarters and had six points during his team's closing 11-6 run. He missed all three of his 3-point attempts but made 15 of 25 2-point attempts and added five rebounds and four assists. |

Two teams in desperate need of three points will lock horns in Dusseldorf on Saturday afternoon as Fortuna Dusseldorf takes on SC Paderborn in the Bundesliga. Germany's top flight has been on hold for more than two months due to the coronavirus outbreak, but the action will resume this weekend, and both of these sides will be determined to pick up a win. Promoted from the second tier of German football at the end of the 2017-18 campaign, Dusseldorf finished 10th in the Bundesliga last season but have certainly found it more difficult in the top flight this term. Five wins, seven draws and 13 defeats - that is how Uwe Rosler's side have performed in the league this season, picking up 22 points from their 25 matches to occupy 16th spot in the table, four points off 15th-placed Mainz. |

Experienced attacker Nani was unavailable for Melbourne Victory last weekend because of injury, and this game may end up coming too quickly for him to make a return to the side, especially from the first whistle. However, Popovic could choose to hand a debut to new signing Bruce Kamau who has joined the club on loan for the remainder of the season, boosting their attacking options. Despite the fact that Wellington Phoenix did try to contest the VAR decision to send Payne off last weekend, the ruling was made that it will still stand and his one-game suspension will take place this Friday. That will result in at least one change to the starting lineup from the draw against Perth Glory, with Finn Surman being a likely option to slot in at the back this time around. |

The Albany Great Danes will look to continue their mastery of the UMass-Lowell River Hawks when they meet Wednesday in a key America East Conference showdown. The Great Danes (6-17, 1-7 AEC), who are 2-12 on the road this season, have beaten UMass-Lowell in four consecutive games, including an 89-63 decision in Albany on Jan. 8. The Great Danes have also won eight of the last 12 matchups in the series. The River Hawks (17-6, 5-4), who have lost two straight, are 19-6 on their home floor since the start of last season, including 11-0 in 2022-2023. |

Their top players Andy Delort and Nicolas Pepe have scored six and six respectively. In their most recent match on Sunday, Nice took all three points from Lille OSC 1-0. |

Barnsley v. Oxford United | | 2-1 |
Win | 100 | 5 h 30 m | Show |
There have been some promising signs for the U's at certain points, going on a run of 10 games without defeat earlier this season, although they drew six of these, struggling to close games out after taking the lead. Another issue for Karl Robinson's side has been inconsistency, best displayed by the fact they have beaten third-placed Ipswich Town and fifth-placed Bolton Wanderers, but looked very poor against teams at the other end of the table, drawing with Forest Green Rovers and losing to MK Dons. The U's would have been hoping that their 2-1 triumph against Ipswich towards the end of January was a turning point in their season, with that result taking them up to 10th place in the table and in reach of the playoffs. However, Oxford have now lost their last two matches without conceding a goal, the first of which coming in a 2-0 defeat at Wycombe Wanderers, before losing by the same scoreline against Burton Albion at the weekend. |

Go Ahead Eagles +0.25 v. RKC Waalwijk | | 1-3 |
Loss | -112 | 5 h 50 m | Show |
Waalwijk had far too much for quality for FC Emmen as they cruised to a convincing 2-0 triumph when the sides faced off on Saturday evening. Joseph Oosting's men broke the deadlock after only three minutes through Michiel Kramer, after which Julian Lelieveld made it two just shy of the half-hour mark. With 22 points amassed from their 18 matches this term, RKC currently sits 10th in the Eredivisie table, albeit a whopping eight points shy of the final Conference League playoff spot. Up next is the challenge of an opposing outfit without a victory in the most recent six meetings between the teams across all competitions. Off the back of consecutive home clean sheets for the first time in over two years, Wednesday's hosts will be aiming to keep things tight at the back en route to a positive result once again. Go Ahead Eagles came away empty-handed for the second game running courtesy of a 2-0 defeat against PSV Eindhoven at the Philips Stadion on Saturday. |

Connecticut -10 v. DePaul | | 90-76 |
Win | 100 | 19 h 31 m | Show |
Adama Sanogo and No. 24 UConn will attempt to climb back to the .500 mark in Big East play when they travel to Chicago on Tuesday night to face DePaul. A slow start plagued the Huskies (16-6, 5-6 Big East) in their last game, an 82-79 home loss to Xavier on Wednesday. The Musketeers scored the game's first nine points and built a 39-24 halftime lead. UConn came up short despite battling back and pulling within one point several times in the second half. Sanogo, who leads the Big East in scoring (16.9 points per game), was held to 11 points in that loss, but the Huskies received 28 points from Jordan Hawkins and 23 from Tristen Newton. Hawkins scored 26 points in the second half. "A really disappointing loss," UConn coach Dan Hurley said. "We became unhinged with that offensive start in the first five minutes. We did some things that we really didn't want to do offensively. That had a real negative effect on defense. Just a really, really tough loss for us to absorb." Xavier, ranked No. 13 at the time of the game, shot 53.4 percent overall and 10-for-20 from 3-point distance. |

St. Louis -4.5 v. Fordham | | 65-75 |
Loss | -105 | 18 h 22 m | Show |
Saint Louis put together a solid non-conference resume, beating Memphis and Providence while losing to then-No. 13 Auburn by just five points. The Billikens have been fantastic in Atlantic 10 play, winning seven of their first eight games. Their lone conference loss came on the road against UMass on Jan. 4, but they have responded with a six-game winning streak since then. They have been favorites in all six games during the hot stretch, although five of those have been single-digit spreads. Saint Louis picked up its best conference win of the year on Friday, beating Davidson as a 2.5-point favorite. |

Hawks v. Blazers -2 | Top | 125-129 |
Win | 100 | 13 h 50 m | Show |
A favorable 11-game stretch concludes Monday night for the Portland Trail Blazers, and the club didn't take advantage of the good fortune. The Trail Blazers host the Atlanta Hawks to conclude a span in which 10 of 11 games were at home over a 21-day stretch. Portland is just 4-6 during a time when a Jan. 17 game at the Denver Nuggets marks the only occasion it had to leave town. The Trail Blazers received another break for Saturday's clash with the Toronto Raptors. Portland was well-rested after not playing since Wednesday and the Raptors were playing the second night of a road back-to-back, having lost 129-117 to the Golden State Warriors on Friday night in San Francisco. But it was Toronto that looked refreshed while bolting to a 30-7 lead and posting an easy 123-105 victory over the Trail Blazers. |

Baylor +4 v. Texas | | 71-76 |
Loss | -110 | 11 h 28 m | Show |
No. 10 Texas and No. 17 Baylor will continue one of the oldest rivalries in college basketball when they square off in a return to Big 12 Conference play on Monday in Austin, Texas. Both teams participated in Saturday's Big 12/SEC Challenge, with the Longhorns losing 82-71 at No. 4 Tennessee and Baylor outlasting Arkansas 67-64 at home. It was a brief respite from the conference's 18-game, round-robin battle that reaches the halfway point for both teams with Monday's dustup. The Longhorns (17-4, 6-2) head home after having a two-game winning streak snapped by the Volunteers. Texas trailed by 12 after scoring just 28 points in the first half. The starters scored just seven points before the break, with Marcus Carr and Timmy Allen -- their two leading point producers on the season -- held scoreless. The Longhorns saw Tennessee expand its lead to 22 points early in the second half. Texas drew to within 69-58 after Carr's jumper with 6:06 remaining but never really threatened down the stretch. Sir'Jabari Rice led Texas with 19 points off the bench, with Carr and Brock Cunningham adding 11 each for the Longhorns. Allen finished with six points. Interim coach Rodney Terry said Tennessee was the most physical team that Texas had faced all season, which was quite a statement considering how tough games have been in the Big 12. |

No. 7 Virginia has won six games in a row, a run that began with a home victory over Syracuse on Jan. 7. Now, three weeks later, the Cavaliers will visit Syracuse for a Monday night rematch with their ACC foes. Virginia (16-3, 8-2 ACC) is coming off its biggest margin of victory during the team's current winning streak -- a 76-57 triumph over Boston College on Saturday. Jayden Gardner and Armaan Franklin each scored 18 points, while Reece Beekman registered 11 points and eight assists. Isaac McKneely and Ryan Dunn combined for 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting off the bench as part of the Cavaliers' balanced attack. |

49ers +2.5 v. Eagles | | 7-31 |
Loss | -100 | 27 h 5 m | Show |
The late-game meltdowns stick in San Francisco. Take the Super Bowl against Kansas City following the 2019 season. The 49ers became the third team in Super Bowl history to cough up a 10-point lead in the second half and lost to the Chiefs. Or last season's NFC title game, when a 17-7 lead unraveled because of a dropped interception, a conservative fourth-down call, and an interception on the final drive. Winner, Rams. Another blown opportunity at a championship that's hard to forget. "As you go back to last year, we were a couple of plays away from making it to the Super Bowl again," wide receiver Deebo Samuel said. "What's it really going to take for us to get there? We just have to minimize the mistakes and everybody has to be on their assignments." Near perfection. That's a pretty heady task for any team, much less one headed into Philadelphia, where the cold, an MVP finalist, and the top-seeded team in the NFC await. It's going to get crazy loud - or is it crazy and loud? - at Lincoln Financial Field. The 49ers say they're ready. They have won 12 straight games, including seven in a row since rookie Brock Purdy, a seventh-round draft pick, took over at quarterback after Jimmy Garoppolo was injured. |

Heat v. Hornets +6.5 | | 117-122 |
Win | 100 | 4 h 56 m | Show |
If the Charlotte Hornets could just stay whole for an extended period, they might be onto something. The lineup could be close to that when the Miami Heat visit for Sunday afternoon's game in Charlotte, N.C. The Hornets had LaMelo Ball and Gordon Hayward back in action Thursday night in a 111-96 victory against the visiting Chicago Bulls. Both players missed the previous games -- Ball sitting out three and Hayward the past two. "What it does is it takes so much pressure off the perimeter guys," Charlotte coach Steve Clifford said. "Gordon was really good at both ends of the floor. (Ball is) a difference maker. He puts so much pressure on the defense every time he touches the ball." The Heat have won three games in a row after Friday night's 110-105 victory against the Orlando Magic that came with a second-half rally. Miami is 9-4 in January after entering 2023 just one game above .500. |

Providence v. Villanova +2 | | 70-65 |
Loss | -110 | 3 h 30 m | Show |
No. 23-ranked Providence will look for its third consecutive victory when it battles Villanova on Sunday in Philadelphia. The Friars (16-5, 8-2 Big East), who are 12-0 at home, received 16 points from Bryce Hopkins in a 79-58 win over Butler last Wednesday. Clifton Moore and Corey Floyd Jr. added 12 points each and Devin Carter had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Jared Bynum also provided a big lift with four points and three assists in 11 minutes after missing the previous four games with an abdominal strain. "There's nothing like playing at home," Providence head coach Ed Cooley said. "It gets better and better every time we're here. Our players did a great job. When the game settled in, it was great to get Jared Bynum back involved." Bynum started 16 games before suffering the injury against then-No. 4 UConn on Jan. 4. Cooley gushed over Bynum's return and how much his presence helped the team. |

Raptors +5.5 v. Blazers | | 123-105 |
Win | 100 | 12 h 45 m | Show |
Damian Lillard has quite an act to follow when the Portland Trail Blazers host the Toronto Raptors on Saturday night. Lillard is fresh off the fourth 60-point outing of his 11-season career and has regained the form that was missing when he was limited to 29 games in his injury-riddled 2021-22 campaign. Lillard was highly efficient while scoring exactly 60 points against the Utah Jazz during Portland's 134-124 home victory on Wednesday. He made 21 of 29 field-goal attempts -- including 9 of 15 from 3-point range -- and was 9 of 10 from the free-throw line. Lillard fell one point short of his career-high while also contributing eight assists, seven rebounds, and three steals. "I wasn't thinking I'm going to have to get 60, but I knew that I would have to be engaged and in attack mode and be aggressive," Lillard said afterward. "That was the mentality going into it. |

Knicks v. Nets -1.5 | | 115-122 |
Win | 100 | 7 h 22 m | Show |
The New York Knicks earned what can be considered their best win of the season on Thursday, while the Brooklyn Nets absorbed what can be deemed their worst loss of the season. Coming off those drastically different outcomes, the two intracity rivals are will get together for the second time this season Saturday night at Brooklyn. The Knicks have dropped past eight meetings and 13 of the past 16, and they trailed by 16 after the opening quarter of their 112-85 loss at Brooklyn on Nov. 9. That loss was part of a 10-13 start that culminated in a 121-100 home loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Dec. 3. Since then, New York is 17-10 over its past 27 games, though it has taken an extremely streaky route. Their turnaround began with an eight-game winning streak and also featured seven wins in another eight-game span, but the Knicks also produced losing streaks of five and four games. On Thursday, the Knicks recorded their second straight victory following the four-game skid when they beat the Celtics 120-117 in overtime in Boston. The Knicks blew a 12-point lead in the final five minutes of regulation. The win occurred two nights after they blew an 11-point fourth-quarter lead and held on for a 105-103 home win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. |

Arkansas +7 v. Baylor | | 64-67 |
Win | 100 | 7 h 38 m | Show |
Arkansas and No. 17 Baylor will battle for a coveted non-conference victory Saturday afternoon when they meet in the SEC-Big 12 Challenge in Waco, Texas. The Razorbacks need a resume-building result and desperately need to prove they can win on the road, as they are 0-4 in true road games. "We're gaining a little bit of rhythm. We're a more confident team," Arkansas coach Eric Musselman said. "I think there was a lot of unknown in those first few road games." Arkansas (14-6) bounced back from a four-game losing streak in a rough Southeastern Conference stretch to defeat Mississippi and LSU in a pair of home games. Baylor (15-5) has won five in a row, including Monday night's 75-69 home triumph over No. 9 Kansas. That has helped the Bears recover from losing their first three Big 12 games. Having a consistent lineup is giving Baylor a boost. |

Nuggets v. 76ers -3.5 | | 119-126 |
Win | 100 | 5 h 58 m | Show |
Joel Embiid will have plenty of reasons for extra motivation when the Philadelphia 76ers host the Denver Nuggets on Saturday. After all, Embiid will be going up against Denver's Nikola Jokic, who has edged him out for the league's Most Valuable Player award in each of the past two seasons. In addition, Embiid surprisingly was not selected as a starter for the upcoming All-Star Game. In the meantime, all he does is pile up eye-popping statistics for the Sixers, who have six straight victories. In a 137-133 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday, Embiid hit all 13 free throws and had 26 points and 10 rebounds. It was his 18th game this season of at least 25 points and 10 rebounds. Tyrese Maxey led the way with 27 points and James Harden, who was named as an All-Star reserve along with Embiid, added 23. |

Auburn +4 v. West Virginia | Top | 77-80 |
Win | 100 | 3 h 7 m | Show |
No. 15 Auburn will aim to bounce back from its largest setback of the season when it visits West Virginia on Saturday in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge at Morgantown, W.Va. The Tigers (16-4) had a 28-game home unbeaten streak end when they fell 79-63 to Texas A&M on Wednesday. Auburn coach Bruce Pearl wants to avoid a second consecutive loss, but the Mountaineers (12-8) are better than their record in his eyes. "You look at West Virginia and you look at Texas A&M and you see a lot of similarities -- tough, physical, hard-nosed," Pearl said. The Tigers dug a 15-point halftime deficit against the Aggies and couldn't recover. Meanwhile, West Virginia produced a solid 76-61 road victory over Texas Tech on Wednesday. Pearl knows the Mountaineers will be a tough foe with Hall of Fame coach Bob Huggins known as a master of preparation. |

Win | 100 | 3 h 33 m | Show |
No. 25 New Mexico will try to bounce back after losing in double overtime at Nevada on Monday when the Lobos play Air Force on Friday night at Albuquerque. The Lobos (18-3, 5-3 Mountain West) lost at Nevada after a flagrant foul on Morris Udeze was called with 14 seconds remaining in double overtime. Udeze grabbed a rebound, and while trying to secure the ball, his left forearm struck Daniel Foster's face. The refs determined it was a flagrant foul and Foster broke the 94-94 tie by making one of the two free throws. Will Baker then made the two free throws as a result of the foul and Nevada went on to win 97-94. |

Win | 100 | 11 h 34 m | Show |
No. 6 Arizona, which was stunned at home by Washington State about three weeks ago, will be looking for payback when the teams meet Thursday night in Pullman, Wash. The Cougars (9-12, 4-6 Pac-12) posted the program's first road victory over a top-5 team when they defeated the then-No. 5 Wildcats 74-61 on Jan. 7 in Tucson, snapping Arizona's 28-game home winning streak. Washington State is aiming for its first sweep of Arizona (17-3, 6-3) since the 2009-10 season. "I hope they consider us a rival," Cougars coach Kyle Smith said with a chuckle. "I think that would be great." Arizona looks a bit different than it did in the first meeting against Washington State. Coach Tommy Lloyd made a lineup switch last week, inserting Cedric Henderson Jr. in place of Pelle Larsson, who was the Pac-12's Sixth Man of the Year last season. |

Spurs +13.5 v. Clippers | | 100-138 |
Loss | -115 | 9 h 50 m | Show |
Fresh off one of their best victories of the season and starting to play as they expected, the Los Angeles Clippers will take their new-found success up against the visiting San Antonio Spurs on Thursday. The Clippers are on a three-game winning streak, a run that started with a 131-126 victory at San Antonio on Friday. It is their longest string of victories since a three-game streak in the middle of December. The Clippers finally have stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in a flow after both struggled with injuries and inconsistency this season. The injury bug has been a roster-wide problem for Los Angeles, as sharpshooter Luke Kennard (calf) has been out for three weeks and backup point guard John Wall (abdomen) has been sidelined for two weeks. In addition, Marcus Morris Sr. left the Clippers' 133-115 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday due to a rib injury. Without Morris for most of the game, the Clippers still were able to do plenty of damage with Leonard and George combining for 52 points while going 22 of 36 (61.1 percent) from the field. Norman Powell, who added 22 points, has averaged 24.3 the past four games. |
